Been Using since last year, my advice do not download too much aps that affect and used too much mem. of your phone, only download what you need. root the phone, allow root access to al device to modify your phone capacity. always have a back up, do not use while carging since that will damage the battery as well as the charging IC that will let you think the batery life is too short. checked before installing new updates too. if an app do not work uninstal and reintall it too. and regularly clen the internal and external part of your unit if you know , also consider that your phone also neds to rest so let it rest 30 to 1 hur per day or at least 20 minutes. remember there is no unbreakable machine. Also of course if you are careless with your phone, indeed it's life will be short.

Gr8 no doubt at budget price.smooth touch process well apps working and inatalled but it crashes a lott the phone also is working in low space though i expanded my memory card and can it support the screen shot resolution. Its service is also good but nor much good also. The phone hangs or crashes a lott after using any app

guys, after using 2months I got a problem, this phone can't get connected for internet, sms and call qhen I set this phone on 3g network, network did exist but the phone was just like paralyzed when it set on 3g. it gets normal on EDGE. lenovo a800 pros... dual core cortex a9 1.2 battery back up smoothness ips lcd cons no flash 512ram battery back up ive been using this device for a month and i can say that the battery back was good enough BUT since i rioted my device flash a custom firmware use mods script and use rooted app = boost battery life they said android phone eats a lot of battery ..... but not this one. i manage to use this 1 and a half day...with 3d gaming video streaming texting , and music.. trust me .. cortex a9 1.2 dual core and wow dual core in 1.2 a9 gives me a smooth transition and good enough for gaming , i mostly played 3d games like dead trigger'nfs mostwanted' shadow gun.. the games run smooth and quite enjoyable.. ips nice vivid screen i mean the clarity of this device ....just...wow...with a wide viewing angle im using this mostly to play video streaming online... smoothness. no hangs, no lags,,,,, just.. smooth i negative side... ram well the ram doesnt suit for the dual core... half gig ram is quite not good enough...though the performance were based on the cores ,ram performs on multi tasking soo there will be any chance on having a slightly lags when oppening or running different apps... though i never experienced it before mainly because i only used 4-5 background apps.. no fash... 5mp withought flash...whichis not good at taking picture at night or in a dark.... but in the other side the camera performs well in a bright area .. overall still quite best phone i ever had ,,,,with a good cpu impressive battery back up.... vivid screen wide angle viewing....you cant get wrong with this one specially if you were able to apply script mod , and flash custom firmware....it can level up its performance while using it for a long time......

based on my experience with this phone its pretty fast and zippy i liked the fact that it has a dual core processor 4.5 inch screen and android ICS and pre installed applications considering its price you cant get a dual core phone like this on HTC and LG with the same price as this so kudos for LENOVO for making a smartphones with a budget friendly price

there are some tutorials on how to root this phone ..though the main reason why it should be rooted to play games. was 1st..RAM 512mb ram DDR3 ram.. in a stock rom .. the ram consumes .75%. giving the device. 150mb mb ram or less...why? because preinstalled bloatwares were functioning in the background even though your not using it...they consume ram.. on every background processes. THus.. rooting makes your phone to disable those unnecessary back ground processes ... 2nd battery consuming ram = battery usage ... as the background process were lessen the battery will focus on the apps that you were using..[games..launcher.. application ...browsing...streaming,, etc] my lenovo a800 got 260mb free ram.. and lasted for a day just playing hd games,... how about that.... though rooting your phone will void your warranty.. and might brick the phone if the process were not correctly followed...

I am using Lenovo laptop from more than 3 yrs, it�s too good product from Lenovo. And I thought the same for smart phones but both the products and services are no ware related. Lenovo guys cheating with the smart phone and these are china products. Example which I have faced: As I have gone through the Lenovo smart phone configuration A800 and bought it but those are not true. After your purchase you can�t feel them at all  They said 3.5 mm audio jack: its true, but only Lenovo ear phone (the Cheap quality, its lesser the Rs 20/-) will work on that. You can�t use other than that. After my purchase I have enquired about it, most of the Lenovo models have same issue.  Lenovo service: after 1 month when I purchased, I have faced an issue so I given it to Lenovo warranty service center (IVEL Computers Hyderabad), its terrible service from Lenovo. They have taken it for service and they didn�t return it back (it�s been 2 months). Still they are telling, parts are manufauring in china so its pending with them. I have rose my concern to head office, they were telling we have dispatched but service providers IVEL computers said we didn�t received. i finally got my A800 after almost 3 week of waiting and i must say it was worth every second. The phone has a great screen and the ICS software is really great and brings out the best in this phone. The Built quality is also very very good considering its Price. A nice 4.5 inch screen is the real deal maker of this device The are a few features which are missing which would have made this phone beast of a phone. 1gig ram would have been nice, a camera button, an led indicator for emails and notification and an led flash would have made this phone a class leading entry level smart phone. Even thought it does have everything this device still packs a big punch is runs a powerful dual core processor. I had to import this phone due to the fact that lenovo only offers laptops in my country and no cellphone but ive owned a lenovo laptop the their build quality is pretty good.

Nice device. Great quality phone. Fast dualcore nice and bright screen. Sound is fine but with AC!D its even better. I tested it with some other roms and some made it even faster but they only come in English and Chinese. I would say this is an good device and in its range it is one of the best.

as a user with basic needs. Handling multiple people in text messaging, automated delete message limit function as android usual function can do. Install necessary apps what i need everyday. The graphics is bright and smooth. The only thing i don't like is the power button. Looks fragile, but well made as it didn't stick out like other phones. I did install an app that locks/unlocks without pressing a power button.. which is fine for now. Looks too thin and fragile to be in a pocket but good thing it has free casing from the store...and I bought a pouch just for additional protection. Camera has very great quality images to be posted on social media sites, except for dark places. It has no flash, i don't need flash anyways. This is a great phone for business people , busy people, organizer people. And did justice for nice rendering of graphics and images.

I got it for Php6,900.00 (Eu 132.00/U$168.21 here in the Philippines). Its thin and light, applications are fluid, nice interface, good loud sound even without the headset. Its Fast. Compare to S3 its like between 7 and 8 for me, like S3 is 10. But very cheap considering its capabilities. However, the downside is the RAM at 512MB. but it does not matter for me (only for my kids :)...)

pros + clear / crisp display + smooth 1.2 ghz + very nice 4.5 ips + taking picture in a bright area gives a very good result + good gaming experience + good battery back up cons - no led flash - 512 mb ram - feels bulky - 2gb memmory for me this is the best phone i have., ive been using different phones but this one is an exception.Android phones as we know have a lot of process in the background even though were not using it. A800 can be used a whole day in a moderate usage[ such as playing 3d games, music , web browsing , streaming , and sms/call ] and still got 49% remaining battery. i might say im impress. As for 12 hours without using it (stand by) . I saw from 86% to 83%... 12 hours of standby consumes only 3% of my battery... Big downside of this phone was having no led flash and 512 ram . Though it may not have a led flash it gives a clear and good quality picture when ever ur taking picture on a bright place playing hardcore 3d games..you must have at least 1gb of ram .The device only got 512 of ram , when ever your playing a 3d game theres a chance youll suddenly exit the game due to the lack of ram. But 3d games run smooth in a high quality making it more fun to play.

Love my A800 so far.. definitely worth my buck than my late samsung S6102. If you are not a person who's really into cameras but looks for a phone with great specs this is a definite buy. Got mine at SM Megamall for 6900. Lenovo battery apps is not really that impressive though. got to install another 3rd party battery saving apps. Ram is always @ 400+ mb even though trheres not too much apps on the phone great phone nonetheless will give 7/10

i had order lenovo A800 lastweek and hopefully i'll be getting it on thursday. i think lenovo is better than nokia. inspite having an awesome specs, you can afford lenovo smartphones at such reasonable price. also, nokia phones are easily imitated(so-called chinaphones which are available at black markets) unlike lenovo phones. for me i still go for lenovo smartphones uniqueness. this was only my oponion, but im not saying that nokia is a not a good phone, it has its goods and bads but its just that Lenovo smartphones caught well my attention. :D

The first thing you'll notice the RAM is insufficient (you need to wipe before using HD apps or multitasking) and you probably notice some lag from the launcher.. some peoples get a problem with battery drains which it needs to calibrated first before daily use. after all, the phone's hardwares are really good, cpu performance, sound quality, the screen... all exceed my expectation from this phone

Phone is great although needs to be rooted to remove some of the dedicated Lenovo Aps. Selecting English as the language does not change the Chinese language in most apps but does in the utilities so it's doable from the outset. I just had to use Youtube to see how to open the cover to insert the battery.

The screen quality is good enough, the touchsreen is responsive and I can play some HD games like asphalt 7, but the phone must be rooted first because the internal memory is small... I have bought this one, used it for a week. And all I can tell you is: a good phone. Worth all the pennies you spend. The dual sim works flawlessly. The sound quality is above average phones, though it is not Dolby yet (there is another lenovo series which use Dolby). Touchscreen is responsive (already capacitive). Though the GPS may need a longer time to lock (15-20 seconds), but I read there is a fix around. Lenovo is a china company who had bought IBM division. So I think its quality will be comparable to other top most Taiwan companies such as HTC and Asus. I bought it from a local authorized dealer (Global Teleshop) which also sells selective phone brands (samsung, apple, nokia and blackberry). Due to common bad reputation of china phones, this dealer does not sell any china products but lenovo only. And I can see the reason...

I love my Lenovo a800. I don't miss the front camera since i never do video calling and the missing flash isn't such a big deal since i always have my point and shoot with me. Besides, I've had phones with flashes and they are only useful to some extent. Considering what I paid for this, I really think I got my money's worth. How to off camera shutter sound? Go to camera app. Press simultaneously the shutter button and volume rocker. Then press volume down..

Good to use as a wifi hotspot. Battery can stay up to 1.5 days with multi use like continous 3g data. Accesories are expensive like the casing. It cost me Php 600 with screen protector. Less themes. Looks like a Php13,000 mobile phone but it is only average Php7000.

the only disadvantage i can see is taking photos under a low light or night situation. it has no flash. but everything with this fone is perfect. u will start to love lenovo... good price good fone.

my only concern is the support here in Philippines what if your phone is broke is there available parts or service center? we all know china made are not good and the battery is there available spare battery in case your battery is broke?
