Using the phone for 2 years lol. Design: Very good. Can still beat some phone of these days. Performance: Very poor. I mean it'll annoy you so much you yourself will try to not use it much. 2gb ram but it'll give you free ram of just 200/300mb. I mean it'll drive you nuts. The camera is so bad you'll forget after some time that there's something like that in there.

This phone only has 16gb space which is very low if ur gonna save over 100 pictures and also have about 5 apps. I wouldnt really recommend u to buy this phone if ur looking for high quality..there are better phones with better specs for low price out there. . help me! Is huawei y7 prime 2018 good? or is huawei y9 2018 good?

Home and back button stopped working within 3 months from new. Fixed using aoftkey app. All good, but difficult to get working battery replacement. Not sure if phone is at fault or i received 3 dud new batteries in a row.

k3 note actually is a good phone for those seeking budget phone...heating issues n insensitive touch screen noted bcos of its mediatek processor compared to snapdragon.try to go settings>power manager>backgrnd app mgmt to stop auto start apps to automatically shutdown unused apps while in sleep mode this works for me n prolong standby time.its my 2nd year of use n not having so much problem with my set...the good thing about this phone is u can play with customized roms n find which ever suits ur lifestyle..mine still stick with stock debloated MM...

Heating issue:-wheever you talk for more then half a hour than your phone will be hot as lava Touching issue:- it is like a special feature provided by this phone or an inbuilt feature of this phone. After some short usage period it will definitely create touching issue and you will face problem Hang issue:- phone will hang after sometime for sure. Overall I will not suggest anyone to buy this phone and if you are trying to repair it please don’t waste your money anymore . It is total waste as defect is inbuilt and not any external problems. Guys, help would be appreciated! I tested battery, it has 2.200 if so (mAh). Battery for me, can't last 1 day! Not many chargers can charge this one, only original. For example Today in my car, GPS and internet, and my car can't charge it, it drains out battery on LOWEST brightness more than it can charge?! APSURD! I'm very unhappy with it. Those who are facing battery draining issue or any other issue after updating K3 note to 6 mashmallow may hard reset your K3 note by pressing Volume up + Power button, I just did that and found to be 100% smooth working. (dont do soft rest by setting menu) Just try it and enjoy

Hi there! those who are facing touch screen issues please remove tampered glass from your screen (if applied) as it has already ASAHI glass fixed or if you don't wanna remove tampered glass just install "SGS touchscreen booster" from play store, and set it to 'super optimized' and check "start services on boot" then apply changes and restart your k3 note that's it enjoy...

I am using this phone from the past 2 years. And the phone has been great. The only problem with the phone is it heats up very soon and I think a new battery could solve that. I no issues with the phone the music quality is very good ( Input)..I have red many of the options below by other people about the phone but the problem with us Indians is we want every thing cheap and we also want it to compare it to a S8 or an iPhone 6 when it comes to quality and specifications. I would say that it is value for money..

Yes, it does seem that some Lenovo phones have problems with the touchscreen. I have an A7000 and after 6 months of use the left side of the screen became more and more insensitive. Since it was under warranty, the screen was replaced free of charge. Now, another year later, the right side is having sensitivity problems from time to time. I have to press the power button to blank the screen and then press again to turn on the screen. This, 98% of the time, restores the touch sensitivity. Also, when using a browser, like Chrome, I find the multi-touch does not work properly and I cannot expand or shrink the zoom. Again, I have to blank the screen and restore it before I can use multi-touch. Sometimes, the phone freezes so badly, pressing the power button, however long, does nothing. I have to open the back case, remove and replace the battery, boot up again to get it working. Despite these, overall, I am happy with the phone, especially Dolby Atmos that does make a big difference listening to music and watching movies, especially when connected to a good bluetooth speaker. I was hoping the K3 with more (16Gb) rom and a 13mp camera would have solved the touchscreen problem. Of course, the first release was in 2015. I hope that the 2017 versions will have solved this touchscreen problem because my next phone, I am hoping, can still be a Lenovo (economical and good specs). Oh yes, I like that the battery is detachable. Many phones now do not have this feature.

Good specs and functionality - BUT - here is something that many do NOT know and needs highlighting: after about 1 year of usage, the touch screen began getting less sensitive. And eventually, after about 1 year and 6 months, keys 'R', 'D' and 'X' stopped working! I looked up Lenovo support site and found to my surprise, many people with similar problems - only, some began to face the problem of touch sensitivity loss within a few weeks after buying! Lenovo had no solution to the issue, as of Apr end 2017. They suggested different solutions,including download of a third party keyboard app, but none of them had worked. In the process of buying a new phone, I encountered Flipkart's remote phone check-up technology, as part of an exchange scheme for my old phone. Touch function check showed peripheral areas and diagonal lines across screen (marked 'X') substantially impaired. Posting this as a warning for all who may not be aware..

The company might've ditched support for future software updates of this phone, but the developer community of the K3 Note is just as powerful as the company. The fact that you can easily buy and replace the parts of this phone (e.g. display, camera module, etc.) for less than $30 shows how much support there is for this phone. My point: If you only rely on the support of the company (Lenovo), you might as well call the phone dead. However if you rely on the large community of the K3 Note I can guarantee you that all your problems will be solved.

It's such a pity reading all these negative reviews, when in fact the K3 note has such a high and underappreciated advantage: the community. I'm currently running pure stock Android Nougat from a custom ROM and I could never be more happy. For those complaining about unresponsive buttons, I don't even use my capacitive touch buttons anymore lol as I have the option to use the navbar. If you need help, go to the K3 Note xda forum. I've broken my K3 screen already and it was very very easy to replace. This phone can live very long if you give it enough support for it.

Using Lenovo K3 Note since last 8 months.... This phone has a major heating issue, when on 4g the phone heats up like a frying pan you cant even touch the phone to your ears. Bought this phone on October last year. Power button spoiled just after 3 weeks of use. Had to sent to service centre. After 2 months of use, hangs regularly, mobile signal keeps dropping and have to restart phone. Today, this crap officially went dead after watching some youtube videos just like that. At its price point, I am yet to see a worthy replacement because most phones out there are just recycling the same old features. This is one of the shittiest phone you can ever own. The specifications are wonderful - on paper. The actual device is a disaster. The phone is so slow and laggy, even switching from one app to another can take anywhere from a few seconds to having to do a forced restart. The octacore processor has to be a lie considering how bad the device's performance is. I guess there's a reason they made the battery removable - the damned thing needs to be pulled off when the phone decides not to respond at all.

My opinion about Lenovo K 3 Note after using it for a month 1) Phone does have heating issue especially when you use it on 4G, it heats up a lot while browsing net. 2) The battery back up is quite good. 3) The phone does not hang. 4) Its easily upgradable to marshmallow. 5) Camera & Display is also pretty good. 6) Plus point is that it has removable battery. The major issue is that phone heats up a lot especially while on 4 G and while browsing it heats up to an extent that u cant immediately put it to your ears.

JIO Sim is fully supported on K3 note and i am been using from last 1 month. Experince is just awesome. But point to be noted is it wont show VOLTE and you need to plug in JIO sim in slot 1. you also need to install and register on JIO4GVoice app . So basically it means u need to open/enable always JIO gprs on your phone whenever you wanna do voice call using JIO Sim. So Be assure and enjoy JIO's magic on K3 note.

Lenovo K3 note Battery: Handles well, for the average user I would say a day, just. I keep the wifi and GPS on and use the Bluetooth in the car. it gets me through the day with charges while I drive, it has a fast charge so that's a plus. Also, the batteries are removable soooooo can have spare or replace if needed. Screen: Great colour and brightness, good in the sun. the touch could improve, although I'm comparing with my previews phone (Sony z ultra) you need to use the flat part of the finger as the edge or nail ain't going to be very responsive. The home, back, and task button are off the screen on the bottom, they are not backlit but you remember where and what they are but sometimes I miss as I probably just missed the edge as couldn't see the symbol. as there not on the screen they do not shift when the screen orientation changes. found that to be a plus. It's a 5.5, I'd still go bigger but that's a personal choice. Performance: Specs look really good and handle simple things with ease. When it comes to multi-tasking it really struggles especially when navigating. eg when I'm driving I have internet music streaming to my radio through Bluetooth, GPS navigating me and trying to write an email or text gets unbearably laggy. or when switching between apps there is a bit of a delay.. 1-2sec. Guess that's down to the 2gb of ram and my apps running in the background.... Other than that it is really stable, Storage: inbuilt 16gb but expandable to 32gb with the sd card slot. I was able to put a 64gb but took lots of work to get it working. Phone calls: Has duel sim. no issues hearing people and people hearing me. the speaker is good too. Photos: Has a 13mp back camera, average photos I thought, laggs when taking them. 5mp front. for your selfies. Sound: Loud Price: Amazing OS: runs the latest android 6 on upgrade. Overall: excellent phone, Handel's all the necessary tasks. When it comes to multi-tasking it starts to drop in performance..... A lot especially when navigating. I would pay more than double for this phone so certainly great value for an everyday phone. not so much for a business phone that needs the phone as part of the office, just need to be patient. This is very nice phone. It works very fastly without any lag. It has a good display, but its touch sensitivity decreases on continuous usage. Battery life could have been better, and also it needs more time for charging. Its primary camera is really good, but its secondary is average. It is a good product from Lenovo in this price range.

I bought this mobile 8months ago...after 6.0 update mobile is good I am a heavy user..mobile look is good,display is super HD videos plays awesome in all angles..rear cam is good & front cam is nice for selfies sometimes slight blurness in selfies but in focus it will be 9c..battery is satisfactory...ordinary games are played with out any lags..but after heavy games like asphalt 8&gang star vegas mobile will be heated...internal memory is 16GB but we are able to use only 11GB but there is memory card slot..speaker is not loud but ok..Dolby Atmos is superr..in k3 note we are not able to download themes...totally it is a good mobile for photos,calling,net browsing,normal gaming @ 10,000/-

Have been a lenovo user for about two years.my last two phones were lenovo. Currently using lenovo k3. I am very satisfied with this phone. It's not hanged for me. Had no issues so far. And yes I use my phone for at least 15 hours a day. My kids play on it.listen to music.watch videos. I would totally recommend this phone to anyone.its totally worth the price

Buy only class 10 cards, mine is Samsung evo+ Am a heavy user, battery could have been 4100mah atleast, but no complaints so far. No touch issues whatsoever. Do cache clean up atleast 3 days. I don't know what u guys are talking!!?? My lenovo k3 note has completed it's 1 year without a service centre visit. It's a natural thing that a 10000 phone will hang...don't compare it with Galaxy S6 and lg mobiles which are more than 50k...but to be honest...it never hanged like hell...it was always workable and has been very useful to me in every aspect. After mardhmallow update battery just became awesome.May be there are very attractive mobiles in this price range now...but when k3 note was introduced it outshined every mobile there...it was the best a year later. Maybe my mobile is so well built that i don't need to buy any new mobile. Atlast it's my request to all of you...use a mobile like mobile...not like a laptop.

I'm using K3 note for 1 year, I bought mine at online store antelife (EU warehouse ) and it came with a lot of bugs. The device has some inquestionable qualities as the sound sistem, the front camera, and the battery. Although it came with several software bugs: Chinese applications always updating automatically, even when the device wasn't connected to the internet. (problem solved with "ccleaner" app by uninstalling lenovo laucher) Then other errors show up: Unable to change "character settings" in settings menu; filming doesn´t work in snapchat app; music player stoped working.... And, among others, most recently came up with the touch screen issue (showed in this videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c97-ZAmZ3Lk­), which can only be repared by the replacing of the touch screen (~ 30€). To conclude: Do not buy this.

Its been just 2 months, my Lenova K50a40 phone visited the service centre which came back only after 2 weeks from the touch screen problem but i realised that i could hardly hearing anything since it was sent to service centre. now its been just a week after that and i have the network issue - what a mess. Today I checked Honor 4x from one of my friend. He updated it to 6.0. But he's able to move apps to sd card without using the sd card as an internal device. Also his phone has the option of setting the default write disk in settings. I don't get it. I thought 6.0 does not allow moving apps to sd card unless you make it as internal. I am using it from Dec 2015 and till now I have not faced any single problem. I have updated it to Android 6.0 successfully thru OTA. It's camera is very good. Performance is also great. Doesn't hang nor it gets slow.. May be guys facing problems, you are not using it in the proper and efficient way. First learn to use a mid-range budget smartphone in the most optimum and efficient way. It's not a freaking BMW!!!

If You want to Upgrade the sensitivity Go to Language and input at setting and scroll to the bottom till you find pointer speed.increase makes the sensitivity go higher and decrease it...is you know the other way around.for battery life...Buy a new battery You probbably charge and play for a long period of time.(it's decrease the battery life)

do not update this phone from lollipop to marshmallow . the main and interesting features in call setting (smart answer ) will stop working you have to raise your two times to get the call connected. this features is very helpful but stopped working. every k3 note is having similar problem.

Phone K3 note is a disaster. Within 3 months of light use all problems started. Nasik service center is like a village paan shop. You dont get a receipt when you give phone for repairs. No records. They physically 'search' your phone when you go to collect it. You have no proof that it has been repaired by authorized service. Rs. 1000/- phone is better.

U can visit nearest service centre. I have faced same problem too. Otherwise u can keep only the device ( after opening back cover, battery, sim, memory card) in the direct sun light for minimum 2 hour. I think this happens for wet weather or soaking rain. The 2nd method has worked for me.

I have been using this phone for more than six months and here's my review of it: it's normal in battery life Screen is great but normal in direct light Touch is great Camera is fantastic 4g net speed is great When running heavy apps it gets hot but that quite normal To be honest I haven't seen a stable perfect rom up to now but all the weak and strong points of it depends on the rom you have on you phone. Check needrom.com website for the one that suits you. Miui ROMs are stable. Aosp ROMs are light and quick and vibeui ROMs are versatile. I repeat many of the problems that you see in reviews can be solved by changing the rom. Totally I suggest this phone to everyone. With this price tag you can't find any better. Good luck

I summarize the issues faced since i purchase lenovo K3 note 27.10.2015 (order ref.OD204195281xxxxxxxx through flipkart during its launch time). The IMEI no. of the mobile is 86841602xxxxxxx and warranty is applicable untill 26.10.2016 as per warranty terms and conditions. After use of 5 months, my display on the right side part is completely stalled which means the icons in the right side querter are not touch sensitive including the back button. So i sent emails and visited HCL Technologies, Mount Road, the authorized service center for lenovo smart phone for warranty service during the month of May 2016. However the HCL service agent did not accept my phone under warranty since they observe that the steel attachment in the memory card port was found slightly detached. I am sure that this is not a damage and its only detachment happened when i was removing the memory card for handing over the phone to HCL service agent. Despite my arguments they quoted reason on lenovo that even a minute damage on the mobile phone will be enough for rejecting the warranty service. So, i visited another service center i.e. AP Technologies in Egmore Chennai, and they inspected and informed that they observe a minute damage on the bottom of display (this time another reason) and hence they cannot accept my phone under warranty repair and i need to pay Rs.3500 +tax for replacing the display/touch screen of my smart phone. I also observe that a lady was arguing with the service center persons since they were asking Rs.400 for repair of her lenovo smart phone which is also under warranty (less than 3 months use) Subsequently i wrote an email (refer trailing email) to support.lenovo under interaction id.22235xxxx and i was asked to visit the authorized service center again and call customer care support. So, i visited the authorized service center AP Technologies yesterday evening, and called customer care support under call reference. 222542xxx The customer care officer spoke to the service center persons and asked them to send pictures of my mobile phone damage location. Subsequently the service center persons have taken photographs and sent to email ids: [email protected] & [email protected]. Today i called the lenovo customer care support again under call reference.22256xxxx and i was again asked to visit the service center again for taking picture of the "so called external damage" location since they have not received any emails attaching my phones damage locations. Please note that i have already spent lot of time talking with customer care & visiting three times the authorized service centers amidst my busy schedule but lenovo or authorized service centers are least bother about my pains. From the above it is very clear that lenovo or their authorized service centers are not willing to respect and support customers post purchase of their products at free of cost even though they are liable for it during the warranty period. For any products of even 2-3 months of use easily anyone can find some "willful reasons" for rejecting the warranty terms. I never had this kind experience with other brand products in my past life. The bottom line is do not buy any lenovo product they find reason to skip warranty service. For sure you will end up with problem within warranty because of poor quality of the product.

My experience is positive for this k3 note device. I am fully satisfied, I am using it since last 360 days. There was battery problem for fast draining but it was sorted by service center. No touching, heating or leggings. Camera is good, clear voice, Dolby stereo is best for listening music. What more you want. Yes at 9999/- you gets other better choice now but less than that you would not find against this one. I mean to say any discount on 9999/- is worth buying. Hope all doubts must be cleared.

Hey guy's i am using K3 note & I updated it to 6.0 few months back, And the handset is giving some problems like lags & displays wrong time i.e. the time doesn't get updated automatically. And once you update to 6.0 you can't roll back to 5 even after you factory reset your phone. So think twice before upgrading your phones.

First thing to do is to root it and install custom rom with good rating (no bloatware), android 6 - this is to avoid commercials, spyware/adware which drain the battery and consume memory. Than remove everything you do not use and the app "secureit", it is a system app but can be removed - resource hungry and potentially spyware. Heating problem occurs rarely it does in iPhone too. The phone rarely freezes however, the problem might be nonresponsive screen (once in a while for no reason). In rooted device battery life is more then OK even if used for fb for many hours a day.

I am running exactly the same Appsas I was running on a Duo Core Samsung GT-i9082 and Quad Core, HUAWEI Ascend P7-L10. They were running there smoothly. No overheating and switching off with warning If the heating problem is not an Andriod Compatibility issue with the hardware, I wonder if it is The MediaTek 6572 processor which has issues. If I recall well, I once bought a Samsung GT-i9082 clone running the Duo Core version of MediaTek 6572, it would freeze. My K3 Note is almost always at 50 centigrade! This is only its first week of use! My advice, dont get so excited about the Specs. Even the picture output crisp Quality of old Samsung GT-i9082 8MP Camera is much better compared to this K3 Note 13MP.

I like to share my upgrade experience with MarshMallow 6.0. The download of 1.6GB took about 50mins with speed of about30kbps WiFi. After that a 15 minutes of installation will run. HOWEVER, do not panic as it will shows 49* and like it is stuck there. Just leave it running...and it will jump straight to finish. Later the Apps optimising will take place...also at some app like stuck. Just wait...about 15 mins also. Then SD card setup...remember if you select format...card is bound to phone. After the Android update...run a another couple more updates for the firmware. My only problem now is detecting the phone from PC via USB. If anyone know why, please let me know. It says detected and driver installed...but not showing the contents.

Each & every problem have some solutions I had also and that was of taking long time for full charging. K3 note was taking 7 hours but it solved easily with in one visit at their service station. I have not paid any amount as it was under warranty period. Earlier stage I have faced problem of fast draining of Battery and it was also solved by company so think positive. If you don't give some time for repairing your device it's your choice. From company side they are giving their best for after sales service. My opinion is really very soft for their attitude. Device is also very nice but after all if you expect limitless it's wrong. At present there are so many competitors in market so this type of comments comes but at the time of launching this device was the king so please take care of your device.

I've drop it several time, it was working in the rain more then 5 months, all day long using GPS, internet and all the staff. Yes, it's not the best. That wasn't right, all videos looked like soap opera, it was so weird. I had to download VLC player to play videos in normal speed.

After 13mb update the phone seems to be working a bit faster and smoother, less lag. Video playback is finally normal again, option for no shutter sound in camera. Battery seems to be the same, 4h+ screen time and i never had heating problem so i don't know about that. The only problem I have is sometimes screen become unresponsive and i have to lock and unlock to fix it. Not sure is that hardware or software problem.

if after clearing recent apps, any app is not cleared it means, that is locked and can not be cleared. To resolve it, on clear recent memory screen, drag n drop that app on broom at the bottom to unlock it. once unlocked u can clear it

Lenovo k3 note review: I'm using my new piece for the past 7days. According to me... 1. Display is crisp and bright enough. Watching movies is a pleasant experience. Though it suffers a bit when it comes to sunlight readability. 2. Very good touch response. No heating which is great. You won't feel even a bit of heat even at heavy usage. 3. Supports SD card up to 32gb storage. Although I suggest to use class 4 or class 6 cards which are working smoothly. 16gb class 10 SD card suffered a bit. 4. Plays each and every video file so far I have tested which is great (including heavily encoded files). 5. You will get about 1.2gb of ram free at first boot. Multitasking is great. Handles most of the above average games and day to day tasks smoothly. After installing few basic apps and two games I got about 500 to 600mb of ram free. 6. Camera is great on daylight. Low light photos will be evidently suffering from noises. Night time clicks are satisfactory. You will be impressed by the dual flash which is very powerful. 8. Audio is crisp and clear without any muffling. But a bit low. You won't hear your ringtone or notification on crowded outdoors. Though the pack does not contain headset, if u pair the mobile with right pair of headset, it feels like being in heaven. Dolby atmos really works. 7. Battery backup is average again which is the only major letdown with lenovo smartphones. That is continuing hwill give 4/5.ere also. If you are a heavy user you will need it charged at least twice a day. Light to avg users can manage with one full day. 8. Overall a great budget smartphone.

Service center are also very cooperative, never asked questions & changed battery several times also changed motherboard. If any fault just contact nearby service center will definitely solved. Over all its workinh fine fr now...a lil heating problem....and the most importamt problem m facing right now is....secure zone n open zone mingle up the contacts...after new marshallow uodate, two zone are mingling up contacts. So i have lost the option of secured contacts there....and over that my hidden google id accounts in secured zone r displayed in..... contacts settings....wen ever someone try to set , which contacts to be displayed its showing all my pirvate google id accounts i use in secured zone....pls set this option. Try to just not isolate both zones contacts....its worst option....there will be no meaning of secured zone...at all

The phone gets hang when i turn the mobile network, yeah it hangs often which sometimes it leads to restart my phone. That is the main con about K3 Note. 2. Performance gets poor after 8 months. 3. Ram gets full often, it comes below 360MB otherwise the phone is good

Battery back of lenovo k3 is very bad. Some time there is problem in data connectivity also. In this set there is 2 GB Ram but it always shows only 434MB out of 2 GB. Not able to find out which app is eating rest RAM. system is also slow .

what did u mean by value of money. my mobile giving ptoblems since i buy it. I thought updating might help but it makes worse... Nothing personal but my mobiles touchpad as well as light sensor does not works properly. heating is normal due to its background process or etc. my brothers asus max gives more speed than it and also as I mention above touch pad did not work i have to tap more than 4-6times to type. and for your kind info I have been using smart phones last 4 years.. so please dont lecture me about it.
