I've had to remove youtube app updates twice and use the factory bundled one that can't be uninstalled. Other than that, yes it's slow and has no space internally. At this price that's to be expected. It works for browsing with waterfox app just fine, and even google earth app runs okayish.

The people here compalining either don't know how to use the tablet or expects too much from it. First of all it is not a gaming tablet (just look at the specs ffs) the tablet is mainly for browsing the web, social media, casual games and multimedia. My brother who is 4 years old has been using the tablet for a year. When i checked on it it has no issues, the screen is still responsive even though a kid uses it and kids can be rough (also he drops it all the time), second of all the batt life of the tablet is still very good. So the people complaining about the battery, the screen being unresponsive and the tablet being stuck in bootloop may have a faulty device or does not take care of the tablet that well. Mind you my 4 year old brother uses it and its still in mint condition.

Biggest piece o$#@#$ rubbish Ive ever bought. Its not a touch screen but a hammer screen!! Freezes up and most of the time you get a message that launcher/ fb/messenger/ whatsapp/ etc etc is not responding. Back button is most of the time not working. To complain at the store does not help, they book it in and a montn later you have it back with exactly the same

I can type out instructions on how to use the Android File Manager, but really, it's a PITA & you would be better to download a 3rd party file manager from the Google Play Store , such as OI File Manager, Solid File Manager or others. I use Total Commander but it's a bit quirky with it's navigation but powerful & a small sized app that requires few permissions, none scary, vague or invasive & no Ads. With these other File Managers, they use more intuitive navigation similar to your PC & with those you can copy & move files as you'd expect. Also make sure that you've set things up correctly. AND NEVER EVER REMOVE THE SD CARD once it's been set up as Adoptable Storage (Internal). Only use your device connected to your PC, or other devices, via WiFi apps, Bluetooth or a cable to move files from your device to your PC etc.. Never remove the SD Card set up as Adoptable Storage. There are other threads on this topic in this forum that you can read & the problems people have with their SD cards & devices & SD card adoptable storage by not knowing the SD Card Adopatable Storage rules. If the card is removed, then "file links" are lost & because the card is encrypted specifically to that one device, the files are basically impossible to retrieve on any other device & as the links are broken by removing the SD card, they can no longer be found by the device that the card was removed from. Make sure this is understood & followed or risk losing information.

This device doesn't have option to change your default storage of internal memory to SD card memory. I can't install more then 3 apps. I just use it for gaming. Can't update any app. Any help. Well I have had this tablet for more than a year and it's seems well, other than lacking of RAM, Camera quality and sometimes my tap location going crazy, I just wipe the screen to fix that. I think if you took care of the tablet very good the tablet will last longer. Either that or you probably been scammed.

I haven't had this tablet for a year yet and I'm already having major issues. First the camera quality is horrible, the pictures are too grainy and dont show up good. I'll be in the middle of a game or just browsing and the tablet will just shut off without warning and when it tries to turn back on its stuck in a loop, sometimes it take hours for it to turn on properly and i have already done a factory reset and it still didn't fix. Before the reset the screen would just go black. I have scoured the internet trying to find a solution to no avail. Would never buy this tablet again and even though I got it on sale for a good price it just is not worth it!!

Change the default launcher to U launcher Lite, It will give you some relief from lagging. After installing the launcher and marking as Default, REboot the Tablet. Then after this, install Mi Launcher (don't uninstall U Launcher Lite) and select that as default. After this reboot the tablet again, your Tablet will get a new life.

To make handsfree calls you need to either connect a Wired headphone and mic or use a Bluetooth handsfree instead. In 24 hours of idle time and 4G connection left ON -- the battery will drain according to how many apps are running in the background. So considering that the background (recents tray) is clear then it approx drains about 30% in a day. I bought my Lenovo tab3 710X in June 2017 hoping to keep it as a good buddy. I'm using Lenovo S1 and I have also used S1 light they both are very responsive. But I find that this buddy is not as fast as my other Lenovo mobiles. So I am pretty much disheartened. I saw that kingroot is best app to root Android in one click. Get a 4 port USB hub, plug in your keyboard and mouse, USB or wireless USB, and you have a small screened computer. Much easier for doing a MS Office doc! I still am working on how to print to my non-stop wireless HP printers and to display on my Samsung 32" tv. Why do I do all of this? PC died. Went to US, bought a new replacement laptop but it was removed from my bag by security and not returned to my bag so left there at SFO. Still waiting to get it back so making do with my T 3. Nice phone with many features. Worth the price!

Charging issue. I purchased it on Amazon and it delevered just 5 hrs ago. When i switch on first time it was indicating battery overheat. I thought it might be due to sunlight exposure while in transport but i was wrong. It is still showing same battery overheat warning after 3 hrs at room temperature without charging cable attached. When i plug in charging, there is no indication showing that device is charging. I looked at battery setting while it was plugged in and there it was showing "not charging" and continues​ the overheating warning. Rubbish experience.

It seems it's necessary an application similar to Windows Explorer. There are such app for Android 5.01 (lolipop). I want to use this tablet for reading documents like Microsoft Word (.doc), and Adobe Reader (.pdf). I found on the net these applications for android(*.apk), I copied them to a microSD card, and I inserted it in the appropriate slot, but I couldn't install them. This tablet's battery life is awful. I bought one last December, the battery doesn't last one day, even when I'm not using it. Even with Location turned off and set on Airplane mode. Took it back into Harvey Norman's and after two technical inspections lasting two days each, I got a new one as replacement. And this new one has the exact same problem, poor battery life!! Just does not last. Picked it up today and it would not switch on, so I plugged it in and it says 44% battery left! WTF! Then I plugged it out and within 2 minutes it was 1 % battery left! Bizarre! Otherwise it is a reasonable tablet, only for my 3 year old so its ok. Would NOT recommend this tablet to anyone.

When I used the device 5 minutes later when I clicked update it was supposidely updating I don't know to what then the screen went black and now the device does nothing at all including recovery and as it happens I checked update logs on ad card and it wiped everything and said update complete without reinstalling the new so which I assume is android os 6.0 so be warned

Tablet is not that smooth and camera is horrible. But I can't really complain since I got it for around 2,900 pesos. I guess this is to be expected from a tab at that price at it can do the task it need to do. Btw,multi user does not seem to work with mine (Tab 3 essential with android 5.0). Is there no way to enable it? I bought this expecting that it would have that feature since it is gonna be shared by multiple users but it seems that it's not enabled 😞

Careful to buy from online store because sometimes they provide with chinese version of device with no play store.but it can be flashed with international firmware with play store.there are two types of devices to buy lenovo.ROW version mean rest of world or CN means chinese.you can check the version through build number of the device.if there is row then it is good.if you got cn version it will show something like example s128.while row version will show row_s128.if you got CN version you can root using kingroot then download and install Google Installer from xiaomi website then playstore will be there

Bought it for my kid... Excellent device for such low price... works very good and without any problems and without any lags... battery lkast pretty long. Overall very satisfied and would recommend this one as a best-buy in low-budget category... P.S. I listened to other users, and skipped Lenovo software update ( people say after update it can give you trouble ), so it works very nice

It dosen't have Marshmallow, it dosen't have any Dolby audio(dosen't even have a dedicated chip, checked via Android Terminal Emulator) it supports 64GB microSD. For everyday use it's good, acceptable screen(i know its only 1024x600) But when it comes to music playback, it isn't good at all.

Will some one please help me with a situation, I turned the above tablet a short while ago and it's screen apparently got out of order after some initial use. Screen is showing redish color, and is blinking constantly. Actually someone sent me this tablet from out of country, dont have box or waranty card thereof, Can this fault be fixed without going to some technician?, I did the master reset, nothing is changed thereupon. I bought it two weeks ago. It is far better than what you pay. To the guy who expected 2GB of RAM, your expectation should be realistic and logical. If you need more RAM, you should probably not buy any Tablet under $150! For me, I expect it to be perfect for reading, watching video tutorials, and let me do some minor daily tasks. I am highly satisfied with the quality (For the price I paid).

I have this tablet, its not bad for the price. Performs well with reading, streaming media and chat on social network. Not good on graphic in tense games. This is the lowest end of its tab 3 line, screen is IPS looks good. 8GB storage is actually 3.75GB after first firmware update.

Looks identical like the old tab 2 a7 o_O...same spec sheet from battery size , resolution, display ppi. The only difference is running 6.0 software, bigger internal, back cover (no more plasticy cover) and camera module.
