Second that. love this phone for battery capacity + fast charging. i already own this phone from 2015 till now 2019. Only disadvantge the camera is average and poor if capture moving object. Some Troubleshoot for this phone: - low speaker volume (incoming call) : you have to clean/ brush + vacuum clean the speaker (top ear side) - low charging rate : replace your usb cable to new quality cable (support 2Amp or above charging rate).

I've been using this phone for 4 years now advantages : 1- battery 2- screen size and its aspect ratio 3- fingerprint scanner (you'll have a problem with it if put the same finger at least for 2 times) 4- phone quality ( the phone whole material has lived with me through this whole time without breaking and I can make sure that whenever it falls I've never worried about getting it broke "DISCLAIMER IM NOT TELLING YOU TO BREAK YOUR OWN PHONE") disadvantages : 1- the slow CPU and GPU (it takes too much time to open a lot of apps and sometimes it's lagging in most of them) 2- the RAM capacity (even when I open google chrome browser and any other app it's lagging and even if it was downloading from the google play store and opening a video on youtube at the same time you'll find a little bit of a lag) 3- the charging cable quality 4- the charger quality 5- it's not easy to find another charger for this phone in case you broked this one

I have been using this phone for over 2 years now. The phone is still in perfect condition. Never had to give it to the service centre. Just had to replace the charger once. I feel the charger is as fast as the one plus dash charger, it still charges the phone from 0-100% (5000mah) in 1hr 40 mins, which is really fast. I can play Beach buggy in this without any lag. It is feature rich, the battery still lasts for over a day. Except for the Camera which is just average especially in today's time and heavy in weight rest all is superb.

A great phone! best issue it was accidentaly dropped from about 5m on concrete, thought to fall to bits, but no, surviving was no issue for this phone, while seen others fallen from 40cm got display cracked and had to be thrown out...

I bought this phone in November 2015 from Flipkart at 15999. Battery lasts full day even after using whole day. Speaker is loud and clear. Camera is average. In July 2016 phone stopped working and I gave to service center. It took 45 days for its repair! I paid nothing for repair since it was within one year warranty. Since then phone is working fine. It can still beat Android 7 phones in battery performance.

I bought this phone approximately 1 year ago. I was using a Samsung S4. It is better than S4 except for the camera performance. Lenovo's camera is like a calculator from 1980s... After creating Secure Zone for second WhatsApp application, the internal storage went crazy. I didn't store any photo or applications right now and I only have 500 MBs left. Where is that all 31 GB data gone, I really don't know. Dear Lenovo, if you're marketing a dual-sim smartphone you should support dual application too. Everybody asking about this internal storage problem and I couldn't find any satisfactory answer on your forums. You're just repeating "cleaning cash" function.

Nearly 1 year ago, I bought my Lenovo Vibe P1 Smartphone which costed me more that Rs. 18,000. The offering was too lucrative to go away and hence I end up purchasing it. After running smooth only for few months, the first problem I encountered was weird functional error which got resolved after software updation from your service centre. Few days back, suddenly the mobile stopped doing its basic function: Making calls as the device is not being able to connect to any network. On visiting your service centre in Sector-10, Noida, which looked extremely clumsy and shady, they asked to submit the phone for checking purpose. Post 7 days of keeping in service centre, eventually your service centre responded with a Motherboard failure, (which I definitely expected) and asked me to shell out 10000/- for same. Are you, Lenovo guys think it’s a joke that someone bought the phone for more than Rs.18000 and then would make numerous rounds of service centre and end up with a toy phone just after a year. Do you really think that you guys can survive with this policy and make profit by making your customers fool?

I recently bought the Vibe P1. Since, it is already on Android 5.1, I thought it might support VoLTE because it has the necessary hardware. But to my dismay, the "Enhanced LTE Mode" option was nowhere to be found. I tried turning on "VoLTE Provisioned Flag" in Phone Information, but it wouldn't turn on. Is an update from Lenovo required for the activation of VoLTE in the device? If yes, then when can I expect it to arrive? FYI, I am on Reliance Jio 4G.

Before 15 days, I was updating my phone to marshmallow 6.0 version. After updating there are two problems are occurred. First, when I make a call on the speaker mode and get return on the hand mode, the voice will come through the speaker mode. After 10-15 seconds the voice has come through the hand mode. The second problem is, I have two sims in the device– first is Jio and second is Airtel. But when I am trying to make the calls from the Airtel sim, the call has gone through the Jio sim. To make a call from the Airtel number, I am compel to make the data off of the Jio's sim and then call from the Airtel sim.... What can I do to call from the both of the sims......??

To start things of, on a scale from worst phone ever to craziest most supreme phone ever, it's between descent and barely good, I'm not saying the phone is bad, but combine the cons and bad things and you've got yourself a pretty terrible phone, especially for a phone that's barely 2 years old and already has alot of lag, cons that ruin the phone: useless power saving slider, f/2.2 primary camera where even on 1600 ISO it cannot shoot a video for over 360p, notification led only has 2 colors(red and blue), 2GB of RAM (old and dead), and let's not forget the CPU, it's octa core (good) but it's 4x 1.5GHz & 4x 1.1GHz and believe me the distance rendering in games is slow, and the chipset is also old (snapdragon 615), big battery life, but once you're on video playback/Bluetooth/ or updating or downloading whatever, I can assure you it's like using a 2200 mAh battery. and it's very thick 9.9 freaking mm, and get this, it's coz of it's battery and the p2, sequel to this one having a bigger battery is thinner. another thing is the bottom where the mic looks like a speaker and only for symmetry, bad, and the phone comes yes with Google play music but no actual lenovo music player (might be just for me) and piece of advice, update the software immediately coz you'll find better options, that is unless you shoot alot of videos in which, after the update ruins the video and makes wierd lens angles. so if you're a boring accountant who doesn't like taking pictures or videos, then this is the phone for you, no offense.

The performance, video, sound quallity, battery life and primary camera pictures are great. However after ~half an year of use there are some problems: Somebody already mentioned in the comments but i have this too - can't change wallpaper at the moment it always crashes the shell. I have to do miracle workarounds by changing shells, etc to switch wallpaper. When playing games or working for long time the phone overheats. This led to display "burns" which are these permanently lighter areas on the screen. Also no updates for quite some time... like lenovo forgot about the existance of this device. Overall a strong choice for the phone

I bought the phone through online (e-bay) on 01/09/2016. The model Lenovo Vibe P1 M 2 GB. Unfortunately, some problem happened to software and pressing the keypad numbers automatically without our touch. Searched for the service centre details on web. Checked in company warranty service center. Shocked by getting the information that the warranty is not available for my phone because the phone was purchased through online. Requested many times to service it. They told that Rs:3,000/- towards service & other charges, since warranty is not applicable. Then willing to pay the amount since I need to use the phone urgently. Again second shocking news they have given that they won't do service though I pay the amount because the company service center will service for only for the phones under warranty only. Went to outside service center and they quoted Rs:4,000/- but they suggested me to go for new one instead of spending much amount. Advise you all not to buy through online, if you need warranty to the phone.

Excellent battery life ( the 5000mah battery of this phone give me more than 7 hours of Screen On Time with jio 4g , which is outstanding and i haven't seen anything like this in any other phones.) 2. Excellent fingerprint sensor ( i mentioned excellent because i have checked many other phones like redmi note 3 which is not responsive like this and redmi usually failed to recognize fingerprint for more than 3 times while the fingerprint of vibe p1 fails very rarely even once which may be coz of wet fingers) 3. Marshmallow update is just awesome and i feel improvement in performance. There is not much lag while multitasking with 3 or 4 apps like fb , WhatsApp etc.. and now we can register 5 fingers to unlock. 4. High volume Speakers . Speakers provide very high volume with good clarity. The placement of speakers to the bottom part is fantastic. 5. Otg support 6. Extra brightness option in settings which makes screen very brighter, i would say "brightest". 7. Customisable for data usage of apps 8. Fast charging. This is one of the best features. I am a heavy user and i barely have time to charge. I usually charge the phone while it reach 25 and unplug at 85 range. This charging cycle is best for the battery life. For this charging, my phone just take 50 or 55 minutes. My friend's phones with even 2500mah battery take more than 2.5 hours to charge while mine take about 1hours and 30 minutes to fully charge from 0%. Cons: 1. The phone is little bit heavy, but it is negligible while considering the beast batttery 2. Average camera. I have used 13 mp cam of honor and xiaomi phones which are better than this phone. 3. No fingerprint app lock features. But i am using a 3rd party app called Cm security which gives the option of locking apps using fingerprint. ( Prob solved) 4. Lower performance while comparing to xiaomi midrangers. 5. After marshmallow update it heats a little bit. Its not that much , but i mentioned it because i didn't find this little heat while at lollipop I used phones like redmi note 3 , Huawei honor 4x and 5x, moto x play etc and all i feels like to need in my phone is infrared of redmi note 3, back camera of honor 5x and front camera of xplay.. So guys, if u r looking for an Android phone with huge batttery life , fingerprint unlocking , normal performance and average camera , go for this phone.. i have no regrets of having this phone even after using for more than 1 year.. good luck (y)

I have been using it since nov-16. Got updated from Lollipop to marshmallow, before that got some regular of system updates. Never faced much problem for 1 yr. Now when I connect another device on Hotspot It hangs some times.

I have android version 6.0.1 version on my Lenovo P1. Though it shows VOLTE is running, still you need to download and install Jio 4G Voice app to make a call with a jio sim!! What kind of VOLTE update is this? Ideally the phone should work without the jio 4G voice app if you have volte in your phone. But in Lenovo it doesn't work!! Further the phone never gets connected to the car bluetooth to make and receive calls. where as any other sim in this phone automatically gets connected! What's the problem? Any idea, anyone please?

It has been one month since i started using this phone and i must say that all apps are running very smoothly on this phone. I am not quite sure yet since it has only been one month but I am very pleased. I charged my phone two days ago and it still has left for another half a day. (With moderate use) if I use my phone a lot (wifi,4g,downloading,watching videos) it lasts for about 1 and a half day The only bad thing is that its a bit heavier than most phones ,but that is acceptable because it has a pretty durable battery. Buddy, Wait for Lenovo Vibe P2 if you are comfortable with the onscreen buttons. the button on the P2 is a Fingerprint sensor and not a home button. I own a Vibe P1 and repenting the decision to buy a 2GB RAM phone for Marshmallow works smooth but the transsition between apps has slowed down a lot. it may be for a fact that my piece is full of memory space (Free Memory is 500 MB). I tried deleting loads of movies and other stuff (mainly WhatsApp crap out f the mobile in June after the Marshmallow update and the benefits were immediate as could see the zippyness when there is more space. If you are a gamer or a lot of application user then would suggest go for P1 Turbo if ur requirement is immediate else wait for P2. My P1 gives me 12-13 hours of on-screen time with Wi-Fi on and 10-11 hrs with Data On. Never regretted buying the 5000 MaH phone as battery conciousness was my priority and moreover it works longer(i.e. >7 hrs) when the battery dips below 50% It takes almost 5 hrs for 100% - 50% but gives a long battery life after it crossed the 50% threshold. Processor is bit aged, however it serves the purpose.

I am using Vibe P1 for last one year. it's absolutely brilliant mobile. I have seen few posts about Jio sim connectivity issue in vibe P1.I am not sure if Vibe p1 supports volte or not. But my JIO sim works very well in my lenovo P1. Voice calls I am able to do using jio4GVoice application. And 4g internet is also pretty much fast. Let me know if anyone faces issue with Jio sim voice calling.

Hi, I had problem while connecting to Jio N/W from 1st day. First I had weak signal of N/W while other phones with Jio N/W have good Signal. Also, the Heating problem started after using Jio Card on the upper side ( Speaker for Call ). I've had this phone for a year now. At first I absolutely loved it. But now, after a year of operation, I must say that the strongest side of this phone, which is its battery, started turning into its weakest. Particularly, for the last several months this phone has been incorrectly demonstrating the remaining charge. Surely can go for the official update for marshmallow. I myself am using the update for more than six months. On the contrary my Vibe p1 has become much more efficient and totally lagfree. The fingerprint sensor in particular is super fast now. Please don't fall to the reumers in the forums. Lenovo releases the official upgrade only after testing on their products. Blindly go for vibe p1. Samsung phones are very poor in battery life which is one of the main aspects to buy a phone. Vibe p1 on the other hand has got a massive (five thousand mah) battery with rocket charging facilities. I myself am using vibe p1 for about a year now. Didn't faced a single issue till date. Moreover official on air updates are much more frequent in Lenovo. Am currently using marshmallow.

Hi to all my friends here. Am an owner of Lenovo Vibe p1 for almost 11 months. Bought the phone on November 2015 just after it's release and can say without any doubt that am too happy with the purchase. The phone is super smooth in performance and the most important part is it doesn't have any heating issues inspite of having snapdragon 615 chipset and a uni metal aluminum body. The specs are already visible to all of you in this site, so nothing to mention more about it. The fingerprint sensor is super fast in action. The loudspeaker quality is too good. I haven't use any handsfree headset at all. The speaker volume is really loud yet crisp maintaining the original pace of the audio. The usb OTG supportability is a great advantage too. The device is completely lag free and gets regular on air updates. Now am using Android marshmallow on it.Look wise it is just awesome and feels premium in hand. In one line friends you can go for it without any hesitation. I give 10/10 to this device. Thank you lenovo for making such a excellent device at so low cost. Yes, you can upgrade to MM. I recently got a SOT (Screen On Time) of 15 hrs 4 min after the S288 update. My previous best was 13 hrs something. But I was even more surprised when I got 19 hrs SOT couple of weeks ago. This is despite losing around 10-12% battery drop (i.e. 1% drop at 88, 80, 73, 58%, and thereafter the 7-8% continuous drop after it goes below 30%) in every discharge cycle (see one of my earlier posts). the lenovo vibe p1 which i am using is one of the best phones of lenovo and also one of the best to compete against other phones ranging in between 20k. i have been using this phone for nearly 4months and i haven't got any lagging problem even after i have some very heavy games like gta, nfs mw,nba,fifa. battery life is good means its very good when data is on but battery life is superb when data is off. Camera is brilliant but only in day light, in night its somewhere in average. Screen resolution is very fine. full hd videos goes perfect with the cell. Its has little bit of heating issue which i guess can be negligible because with such a heavy processor and a battery it will definitely warm a little. coming to data connection i would definitely give an A+ with that 4G speed with no problem Fringer print sensor superb i find that people say that it should have a 3Gb ram and its not worthy its cost because nowaday we get 3Gb ram in 8k cell phones. i would have to say they are wrong because i found out that with 16k worth its 2gb ram is enough. here's why i telling you this is because lower the costs the cheaper are its parts and higher it costs the more good parts it will have.if you want a 3gb ram cell i would say you will have to spend some more 6k to get the good ones not 6k less.

Additionally it has two IMEI numbers so both SIMS can be active at the same time while both using (different) 4G providers. Pros: Overall Product is great. +Good screen clarity. +Videos on Youtube and camera give crisp colors. +No Network issues found while using Mumbai 4G +Battery is vry good with 4G connectivity all day long with not so heavy usage. +Received Back cover and screen guard which was a plus +Marshmellow update received during startup +Camera clicks could have been better +Less crap apps installed Cons: -Fast charge issues. For all who want to update .. 1-Before update format your phone. 2-Update through OTA. 3-Format your phone again. *Do this every single time you want to install an update even the small ones. *I used to format my phone before and after updates and now i have the marshmallow without any single problem. *It may feel boring to format before and after small updates but better than breaking your phone down.

Few days back I found a serious issue on y mobile that It gets switched off automatically even by mobile charge level is in 56%. Then after I put my mobile in charge it stopped for sometime. I don't understand why people keep complaining about this phone.. now I m on s140 which solve the problem of data disconnection. I am using vibe for 5 months and I m really satisfied. it heat up when charging but never when using.. camera is very good in daylight but lacs clarity in low light.. battery is just awesome.. it will give u a minimum of 8 hours screen on time.. I mean continuously screen on when browsing.. if using for video playback or music and medium use, it will give u 2 days .. recently went to thenmala with full time mobile data, map and GPS on. after continuous using 8 hours ( both travelling time) and some photoshoot, it still had more than 15% charge.. no doubt for people who r looking for battery backup.. I m not a gamer.. still have 2 or 3 games with no lag.. very good performance , even with many apps.. those who r facing battery probs may go to settings>power manager>background app management> restrict all.. and also install greenify app.. best of luck

Hi All, I bought this recently and haven't updated it yet to MM. The camera quality is really bad, it looks like a 2-3MP camera. I was using Moto g2 and 8mp camera of moto was much better than this 13MP P1 camera. I read reviews before buying it and kind of expecting it not to be good but this is much below my expectation. After upgrading to Android 6.0 marshmallow and install all update. It's fine for me. Just let it doing stuffs while i went to sleep. Not too much problems about heat just sometimes when watching youtube for very long. Battery life is resonalbly okay for me with 17 hours left on 47%. Fingerprint scanner works. RAM is not too much concerned. Everything works as expected. But the 1 big problems is the Folder randomly disappers. But i'm not gonna blame the phone. It's software bug and i pretty sure that Lenovo will sent us another update. So yeah, it's a great phone with larger battery for students and travellers.

After a long time of waiting for the upgrade and update. Took me about 5hrs (my internet is pretty slow) but anyway I got stuck on boot loop so I had to reformat it with the help of my awesome colleague, the good thing is it was already MARSHMALLOW!! But I seriously think that they should fix this problem because last I check it wasn't only me who got stuck on boot loop. Anyway, I will list down all the good stuff and the bad about this update (based from using it for 2 days). You guys are free to post all your observations as well so as to help our devs for their next awesome update because to be honest the problems I'm having at the moment beats the good part of this update so I will start with the badddd! Problems: 1. The fingerprint scanner is still not working. The main reason why I upgraded was because I was hoping that the scanner will be fixed because I really love this feature, but I was disappointed it's still not working. Though I think this is really not a software problem anymore. Maybe there is really something wrong with my scanner. I tried the engr mode and it can't detect my scanner. So maybe it was pretty stupid to upgrade in the first place since I didn't back up my stuff and lost everything lmao. 2. My battery is draining so fast. It lasts for about 7-8 hrs max??? Before the update my phone can last up to more than 12 hrs even with texting and gaming and stuff. It was way better than this. 3. It heats up. Not when I'm charging but when I'm using data and gaming. I mean I know most phones does that but its different. I'm not playing heavy games. Or is candy crush, clash of clans and party in my dorm heavy? 4. I think it's eating up a lot of RAM even when I'm not using it, it was really different from the last one. Back then I was asking if my phone is using 1gb of ram whats the use of the other 1gb? But right now, its eating up 1.5gb even when I'm not using it. 5. I'm not sure about you guys, but it kind of lags. When I open an app it kind of freeze for a sec, but I can live with that. LOL

Yes, vibe p1 supports a sim cut into nano sim. But it depends on which kind of some you were using before. For eg: airtel micro sims can be cut and used but the same isn't possible for DoCoMo. I had that bad experience and had to get a new nano sim for DoCoMo. Hope this helps.

I am on MM. Actually, this weird 1% drop has been going on from the time I bought the phone in Dec 15. So, don't think downgrading to S135 or 137 will help. Wanted to know whether battery recalib will help in anyway. Only reason to downgrade to S137 is to see whether battery life increases, but one will have to give up on the smoother UI post MM upgrade and also improved FP recognition.

Fully charge the battery one more time without interruption and you should have reset the Android system's battery percentage. Please remember that it is not recommended to perform this process all the time. Even when your battery is so dead your phone won't even turn on, your battery still has enough reserve charge to avoid system damage. Perform this process once every three months at the most. If it is required more often than that you have bigger problems at hand. Put plainly: fully discharging a battery is bad for it. Trying to overload a battery is also bad for it. The good news is that charging batteries automatically shut off when their safe limit is reached and there's always a little in reserve even if your Lenovo Vibe P1 won't start. It's basically the same process as above but with the added step of a root-enabled app. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Method 2 1. Discharge your Lenovo Vibe P1 fully until it turns itself off. 2. I updated my P1 to MM yesterday by following xsunilx's post in this article : After the update, everything is fine, except for the sudden reboots that happened a couple of times. Then, I read a post in the Lenovo forum which it says that in order to prevent the sudden reboots, you need to unrestrict all apps in the background app management. It works. Then, last night, I got a new update and its size is 16mb. After installing this update, there's no more sudden reboots. So, now I'm just observing the battery consumption to see whether it's going to be better or worse than when it was on Lollipop.

Things I like after the Android MM Update : 1. More than 2 fingers can be registered for fingerprint sensor - Great Improvement, Although now I am quite used to using only 2 fingers that I have been using since I bought the device. 2. Battery life seems to be improved a lot. It is as good as it was when the phone was new and had zero apps. I noticed a huge improvement in battery life after MM update. 3. I can mark text messages as read without actually having to read them. 4. FPS seems to be working faster. Though no quantitative comparison available. Just subjective from my side. 5. App search Feature. Things I did not like after the Android MM Update : None so far. :D

Whenever you will restart your P1 it require PIN to be enter first time. After that you can use fingerprint. If you have done it then please delete your previous finger print registration do it again and restart it. Enter PIN first time after that you can able to use your finger print

Wow, that's amazing! Have you disabled some of the google apps? That was me as anonymous but never got that SOT after I enabled Google app (Ok google) and a few other TP productivity apps. Is it possible to go back to S137 after upgrade to MM? I got 13+ hrs despite a 1% sudden battery drop at 88, 80, 73, 58% and thereafter a 7-8% continuous drop after it goes below 30% (start may be from 27% or 25% onwards). Try to do this for asphalt 8 - cut and paste obb data and saved game data to external sd card. Then clear asphalt 8 in app settings and uninstall it. Then again install asphalt 8 app and cut and paste obb data and saved data to its folder. Then open game with active data connection. I hope that it will work.

In marshmallow after restart we have to enter pattern/pin, once it is open you can unlock it using finger print. they provided it like that may be as a part of increased security.

It is an issue with Marshmallow. Also, no need to do any factory reset, battery life is better and UI is very smooth. No need to unrestrict app permissions. All past data intact after upgrade. All of you can blindly go ahead with the MM upgrade.

I just updated a couple of hours ago. So far so good. Things feel a bit sluggish initially after rebooting but OK now. Battery seems to last longer. feels slightly cooler also. For those with problems, may be caused by some apps? One difference though is must key in pin instead of fingerprint after each reboot. upgraded to Android M, But I have to do a factory reset, because of rebooting at stuck at optimizing Apps and not finishing it to the setup window. After the reset it boot into the lenovo setup window without any problem, but a force close window of lenovo companion appeared. also after selecting the language ,the network connecting window appeared i selected my wifi network and input the password, but it was not connecting, i have restart my modem to got it connect. then all the procedures were normal. After installing all the apps the phone started random reboots and it was too much annoying, i have to enter the pattern after each reboot ( some guys were saying that the finger print was not working after update, there is no any such issue with me, but as a security issue regarding Android M they have provided an option that you must input the pattern/pin lock after each reboot, after that you can unlock the device using finger print. Wifi Fails to reconnect The main issue i faced after the update was that WiFi connection is not proper, it is not connecting automatically after leaving and entering the zone, i have to restart my modem for reconnecting. Random reboots there is random reboots after the update ( i have restricted some apps to restart, MAY BE BECAUSE OF THAT IT HAPPENED), Battery drains too fast, i dont know because of the random reboot, the battery drains too fast it takes only almost 7 hrs to drain fully, not connected to wifi/3G. Now I have done a factory reset to solve the issue. let me see what happens. Android M update was on right regarding the features, it includes gesture input on fingerprint sensor, app switcher, new shareing menu with recent shares ... let lenovo solve the issues and make it better.

First it stopped vibrating, quality of calls was terrible until I removed the second SIM card, its native sms app takes hours before sms is delivered, address book/dialer app keeps freezing all the time. Upgraded on my third attempt. Keep your phone on charge mode with >90% battery level. It will go through. Marshmallow is super smooth. You can register up to 5 fingers and also define gestures using the reader. Yet to explore fully.

Hello Users, After using Vibe p1 for 4 Months, here is my Honest Review, Pros- Great battery Life Fast Charging Camera Good Quality Front Back both. Pocket Friendly Not too much bulky. Great Finger Print Senser OTG works fine Cons- Now Here are the major issue i will relieve for this Products and facing problems so much due to this, 1 When ever you save your contacts via Whatsapp, it doesn't save 2 Contact Manager automatically deletes saved numbers 3 So much lags 4 If you use CM Security, Clean Master App then guys, i am afraid all your music playlist get clear every time or you use lenovo built Trash Cleaner, all data gets deleted like, Uc Downloads, Playlists saved on Google Music or Music Player 5 This Phone doesn't offer any music app :( 6 So much heating issue while you use 3G net, constant calls, Skype Call, Internet Calls, Normal calls as well. ( It affects your ear skin) 7 When you use SD card and if you save your apps to SD card then you can't update the apps, it will give you 923 error. 8 Processor is not as much fast as it should be as having octa core processor 9 My Vibration is not working after just using 4 months only. (I have checked priority profile as well, all checked, have to visit service center for this. So finally i would like to conclude that if you are seeking a long lasting battery life, good camera quality, OTG ,Finger Print Senser then go for this device. but be ready for problems as mentioned above too.

The call log manager is there in "Dialer", if you find it. I suspect you could have deleted/disabled the Contact Manager app in the APPS List . Else I would suggest you to install the new TrueCaller app which you can use as a dialler as well as call log manager with names displayed for contacts which aren't there in your phone book.

Best phone for the money... Guys its a fast charging device... Every other phones in the market need 4-5 hour for full charging while Vibe P1 takes only 1-1.5 hrs... So the heating issue will persist.. And it will cool down quickly, that is not a problem for the device. And I use whatsapp all the time, it will get heaten up a little... but not as much as other devices from sony nd samsung... and the bttery chrge will remain for 1-1.5 day when you use internet along with normal use, else the battery backup is 2+ days... Awesome Handset to have in hand...

This phone is running on adreno graphics so you have to download latest version compatible for your phone. Otherwise it may cause lag and such problems. You can't use a lower version games in older phone in new phones with graphics support.

This phone battery is fantastic. But it producing heat when taking videos and playing clash of clans game. Getting heat is the only trouble in this phone. All mobiles will get heat; because of its metal cotting it will soon get heat and takes time to cool. But its camera; Battery; processes r very nice. Thank You

For gauthammanda: P1a42_S152_160216_ROW is the last version of the software available for the Lenovo Vibe P1. I think I've installed that version almost two months ago if I'm not mistaken. So after upgrading to that version, S152, the phone should say "Your system is the latest version". Good luck!

If more people are having the same 1% drop at 88, 80, 73, 58%, 45% (not sure of this) and thereafter the 8% continuous drop after it goes below 30% (start may be from 27% or 25% onwards) - then it may be a batch problem with the battery (h/w related). We may have to live with it. It is also possible that it is making up for this loss at other points because despite this loss of 12-13% I am able to get 11-13 hrs of SOT on WIFI spread across 4-5 days. For example, at 2% I get a SOT of 33-48 min (then it stays only for 30 secs at 1%) and at 100% I get around 25-35 min regularly.

Apply all the updates. It should not take more than 2 hrs. It takes almost the same time whether I charge from 15% or 1%. If it charges very fast it will also heat up too much, which may not be good for battery in the long run.

Did you apply any update in between? Did you start at the same % on both occasions? It takes around 106 to 112 min to charge from 1 to 100%. Not sure how you managed 80 min!

This is my first time that i used lenovo product... Based on specification.. I would rate 10/10 becauseof it price... After i used it for 2nd day.. I found that it is non friendly user relative to redmi note 1 and sony product.. Lots of thing need to be done twice.. Notification panel make me word harder to switch on some program... When i touch Recent item button.. It shows.. But when i try to reach another apps from different apss.. The screen turn black for about ten 2nd.. For me.. Did anyone managed to get the Vibe P1 to Fast Charge with a Qualcomm Quick Charger? I tried TronSmart, Aukey and Huawei Quick Chargers that were qualcomm quick charge certified but the Vibe P1 still does not quick charge. Seems that it only works with lenovo "rocket charger".. Reset phone and update it (if you got update) My phone (Lenovo P1) can Onscreen total 7h - 8h continous even when after I play game 4h, online to view youtube, facebook... upto more than 4h. In standby, it spend upto 3day in 3G continous. This is the best super-longlife "battery phone" I used. Galaxy S4 only ~3h onscreen. LG G flex up to 5h onscreen.
