LG G Pad X 8.0 - User Reviews

  • Install Google Voice and Hangout, apps. They works for voice calls and texts.

  • Give some screenshots And also check the imi number

  • i have this pad and also install the "truecaller" app in this Tab but call doesn't work, please advise how can we activate call option in this pad.

  • The camera is either crap or damaged. I've found its response to be pretty laggy especially compared to my Moto G4.

  • Really after one year of using this tab , it is excellent , in all aspects

  • My G Pad has a phone with its own number given to it by AT&T. I even get billed an extra $12/month for it although I got tricked; they said it was completely free but they never told me that the phone service was not free. I did not request phone service but I had no choice; this explains why they were so eager for me to accept a free tablet. It has a SIM card. I like that I can use a microSD card for my data which can be removed if the unit breaks. I still don't understand how AT&T set up a phone while many have posted that it can't be used for calls. I am disappointed that most pads feature no flashlight on the back except for a few Apple iPads.

  • On at&t, I can log in to my cell phone number, and use it instead of my cell phone. My old Note died, so I activated the login. Now I don't think I could go back to a puny Note.

  • Hi. It's not a phone or a phablet. At such, this tablet doesn't make calls; sim is just for data. Consider an app you are familiar with and then you should be all set to make calls.

  • Hello all, can I downgrade this tablet, my tablet running android 7.0 nougat v20h, I must to know it can downgrade to Marshmallow v10xx or v20f Nougat older version, tab lock so I cant check antirollback right now. model LG V521 T-mobile Thanks

  • How can I use a phone sim with this tablet? Tmo insist to make it data-sim only.......:(

  • How do you make call with lg gpad x8.0

  • Yes it does

  • yes, it does.

  • Does this tablet support voice calling as we do on a normal mobile phone

  • Thanks for the information. Happened to me tonight. I thought it was a defect.

  • The dearest readers all.I think what the specifications show here, being fair, with the price of $93 mentioned on my page,it must be one of the most better affordable budget inexpensive economical tablets! But internal memory is 32 while this one is 16 gigs!!!Another important point is using of SD 615 that scientifically is not good for games and videos !!!Nevertheless with the mentioned price tag, maybe a mistake in writing 615 SD has happened,....Thanks all.Justice Rights,...Omid12Omidvar.

  • This Tablet is nice, I got this cheap and for the price, its amazing, this does everything and I'm happy to own !

  • Jay you can go back to lolipop 5.0 with odin software

  • Wow. Well said.! A TRUE HATER OF LG is here. LOL Anyway thanks for the advice bro.

  • I buy LG G-PAD II 8.0 with full usb support before I don't have any problem but when update to marshmallow 6.0 that's the problem I cannot watch movie direct in my external hard drive anymore and used my Bluetooth controller for my games any help? :(

  • I can't understand why a tablet can't have a good camera and premium features as barometric sensor, infrared port, and so forth. Pity

  • LG products are aimed at making money to the company, not to generate customer value. They are not pioneers in mobile market. They just copy the architecture and build the product. They price their product high despite of using cheap components. This high price surprisingly attractive to customer thinking in high quality. In reality it is not. They are cheap and with life time of 1 year or less. You are lucky if any problem identified with in 1 year, mostly happens. But very unlucky if any error happens after 1 year. It cost huge replacement costs, and service costs. think before you purchase LG product. Don't get in to a trap of design and claiming high end features.

  • This is also called the LG G PAD III 8.0, in my country

  • This is the best android tablet I have used so far, speed wise, it doesn't lack at all. Also like the reader mode as it is the first tablet that I have used that has this function.

  • There is a button below volume rocker for reader mode, which removes color. Clock again and color will come back

  • My storm 8 game app color glitches back and forth. Hurts my eyes. Its the only downer for me.

  • How long will this tablet will be ringing when you get a call ?

  • I purchase a G Pad X 8.0 today and got home to set it up and there no color. I am not sure how to fix it. There are 2 options reset back to manufacture setup or return within the 14 days remorse period.

  • Hit the button on the side of the tablet. You're in reader mode. The button switches you out of that.

  • Damn tablet has no color and i dont know how or where to get it fixed,

  • Dearest....With reference to the price+specifications here and if S D is not really 615!!!?,it must be a good budget economical inexpensive 8 inches tablet, specially for students! However WiFi and Bluetooth are almost complete and with $166 price written on the left side of this page,we should not expect the qualities of Sony,s Z4 LTE 4g 10.1 higher end tablet from this ordinary midrange tablet with 2 five inches normal front and back cameras!!!Hopefully, gsmArena expects with their full Advanced lab, write a review for it!Thanks all.Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar.Only Hope.

  • FYI. The entire tablet market as a whole (including the ipads), is shrinking every single year. Since people find less use for them and would prefer to get a phablet instead.

  • yes, this tablet has a snapdragon 617, not 615

  • Just got this tablet for free through a T-Mobile Father's Day promotion. As someone unfamiliar with LG tabs, the full-sized USB input port is a great idea. Tablet doesn't lag at all, and you can't beat free (minus SIM card, MSRP tax, and one month of service fees). Definitely recommend it. Just wish there was more info on this tablet.

  • The tablet has the Snapdragon 617, checked via CPU-Z app. Also same as the G Pad III for accessories

  • Not sure but the camera on the back is 8MPX the g pad iii 8.0 has the 5MPX camera and the processor should be the same which is the snapdragon 617 not the 615

  • Don't really see anything innovative with this.

  • WHAT a good tablet, the specs are goodand the price $200? good

  • Best android tablets is 7 months old pixel c. Android tablets are

  • awesome phone with different slots of memory card ..

  • The difference between this one and the previous 8.3 is depressing.

  • Bought a G Pad 8.3 in 2013. 3 years later no significant upgrade. Talk about collapsing Android tablet market.

  • Low CPU and GPU for actual devices, all the rest seems fine for a mid-low price ^_^

  • No gorilla glass
