I have this unlocked Pro2 in USA (ATT network) and it works great except one thing: If someone leaves voice mail the network will not let me know. No notification for voice mail. Also, if I reject a call the caller will not be directed to my voice mail. They will get network error recording. All my other phones with same sim card no such problem. Anyone know why this is?

Got this phone September of 2015 here in the Philippines. Going three years now and I still love it just as much now as when I first got it. Good speed, excellent 13 mp camera and vibrant screen which is great for watching videos and movies. The 3gb RAM also helps a lot in handling just about any task you throw at it. Only downside is that the memory is small so you'll have to delete apps every now and then and your downloads are limited. Accessories for this phone are hard to find, too. During the almost three years experience I have with this phone, I also had to replace the battery thrice. Nevertheless, I can say that it is the best phone that I ever have. I had the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 before i got it (which was snatched from me, urghhh) and performance wise, I prefer the LG G Pro 2. I will never get rid of this phone unless it dies down. Thumbs Up LG!

I purchased LG G pro 2 back in Oct. 2014. It was my dream phone (after my n70 dream phone that I purchased in year 2006). I really enjoyed using it. Battery was great, camera was superb, speed for excellent etc. But all of sudden almost exactly after 3 years, it stopped working suddenly & when I took it to LG authorized service center, they declared it brought dead & replacing its motherboard will cost Rs 15,000.. :-(

i has been used this phone since June 2014. I'm quite happy with it. Battery yes will drain quite fast due to screen size 5.9" and background apps that running. I have changed 2 battery and thanks for removable battery so i just need to purchase at mobile shop RM85 Malaysia Ringgit. So far no lagging and games performance doing well. Only disadvantage is front camera only 2MP. I will continue support LG. If this phone dead, will upgrade to G6. :)

It might be using too much battery if there are too many apps running in the background. it might also be that you need to replace your battery with a new one. My problem is much more and I am still holding on because I love this phone. I bought my LG D838 on eBay in May 2015 and was quite impressed with the performance but my pride and happiness was short lived. I woke up one morning in December 2015, and noticed I didn't have any cell reception. I checked with my siblings and I seemed to be the only one who had no cell reception on the same network as theirs. I swapped SIMS of other networks into my phone but still to no avail but funny thing was that whenever I change network mode to 2G only, I get reception but switching back to 3G only mode gave me nothing at all...this happened a few days after I updated the OS with a 50MB patch file using OTA as prompted (WARNING!! don't ever do what I did as that patch killed my phone). I have been writing to LG since then but no reply and it has frustrated me so much as I bought this phone for about USD 398 and didn't even get to use it up to a year. I managed it on 2G while trying to contact LG about it until the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped responding also. I need the NV and QCN backup file for this phone in order to get it running again…I would really love to see this beauty run again. Please help me out. Mine started doing that too. It was a software issue. The main LG update or something didnt install correctly and I had to send it off for a manual update rather than factory reset.

LG G Pro 2 is overall a cheaper version of Note 4 Samsung, a slight better battery as well but camera truly agree with some opinions here is low in both sides. But performance better than S4 note. As its stock launcher is lighter than S4note has.

Initially they said we don't have exact battery (47TH) for G pro 2, have to buy 48TH from some other model, which I tried as well, but it gave invalid battery error and phone gets shutdown. They said 47TH battery will come from Kori-ya, may take months. As I've already bought a battery from outside service center, I continued to use that for 10-12 hours backup and didn't gave-up on following with service center. After 1 and half month they finally able to arrange battery, so I bought one in Rs.933/- from Sarita Vihar service center.

Sorry bro, First I've never updated my system software as there were no updates, I did reset so many times, as per my experience it did seems to a hardware issue as I've also googled it, where it was enough reports that this issue was related to hardware. I had option to go outside service center where they will try to fix my board, but I chose to replace mother board. Now phone is working fine like before, no heat, but as I had local battery installed, so backup was very poor, didn't use to last for 12-13 hours. Had to spend another 1K to get original battery and then it back to actual backup which last 1 and half day with moderate use. I think this will last another year and I'll enjoy it again like before. I believe in its quality because my wife in the same time 1.5 years ago bought Samsung Galaxy S5 plastic frame already rust n dirty.. but the D838 still hold the quality tight. bro i think you need to get your mobile to its default OS i mean the default android version if you updated that. and if you not updated that so get its default android version by downloading the firmware into your sd card. I suggest you not to change the mother board of your device coz 1. its too much costly and 2nd if you do what i said so there should be no need to change your motherboard.

My Lg g pro 2 suddenly stuck in continuous reboot after 14 months of use, as I was already aware it might be a battery issue, so I've changed it and phone stopped rebooting. But my wifi and Bluetooth stopped working, their icons always shows that "turning wifi on" or Bluetooth on but it never starts, at the mean time phone heats-up heavily and new battery drains within 30min from 100 to 0%. Went to service center they said motherboard needs to be changed and it will cost Rs.7800/- INR. Right now I'm waiting motherboard to be available at service as they didn't had in stock (they don't even had battery in the stock, so I bought battery from Nehru Place). Let's seen replacing motherboard can solve this overheating, battery draining in 30 min, WiFi and Bluetooth in my phone. (Note-I factory reset my phone many times, nothing happened, changed battery twice but no luck)

If you seek to have tips and trick on this phone , you're lucky as I wanted to share my tips and trick to LG G Pro 2 users. 1st, if you want to stay using stock rom ( Original rom with warranty still have ) just go to setting - about phone - build number ( click until it shows development option ) and click back you will find ( Developer Options ) above ( About phone ). 2nd, scroll down until you found ( Transition animation scale ) and set it at ( 0.5x ). Apply to all scale option such as ( Transition animation scale ) , ( Animator duration scale ) . There you go your phone run fast and smooth significantly. 3rd, if you want your phone run on marshmallow ( Cyanogenmod 13 ) here's the link to download the ROM -> I already try this rom and it's stable at the moment. No lag or bug found as 1 and half month already stay at this rom. ( *oh forgot to say you need to root your phone and the software to root, try Kingroot ) 4th, This rom not came with GAPPS ( Google apps such as playstore, chrome, callender etc.) but you need to download and flash like usual. Link -> this GAPPS already optimize until below 100mb file size. So there's my tips and trick to LG G Pro 2 users. any comment or suggestion leave a reply :)

Very good phone. Battery is ok better than LG 3. Need a large amperage battery charger as i found it didn't like the average charger that came with it (it blew up the original charger). Love the knock code features, great camera, good speed. LG just need to improve overall battery life with their phones and they would be a fantastic product

The phone itself is quite excellent even if you get only KitKat 4.4 or Lollipop 5.0 and not Marshmellow. Superb hardware specs, superb user interface, superb speed and everything. Big issue is sometimes the stock LG 3200 mah battery just dies/gets damaged from repeated recharge and causes the phone to restart. It boots to the lockscreen then restarts continuously. Initially this happens when phone is not AC-powered, and it works when a charger is connected. Eventually even that stops working and the phone's battery just dies. The fix is to get a new one. I was able to get a replacement for Rs.1000 (US $14). The unfortunate thing is the battery is considered an "accessory" by LG so warranty is only 6 months on it. It became worse over the 2 following weeks until the point where I couldn't use the phone away from a plug (portable charger isn't stable enough). My LG Pro 2 F350L was the best smartphone or phablet i've ever used. All my expectations in a smartphone meets in this device. I've never had any laggy experience in this phone. The battery with 3200mah last 2-3days for normal use since i upgrade it to Lollipop 5.0.1. Data connection LTE was very fast. Wifi connects fast and easily. i h,been use this monster phablet since two months, and read opinions at this forum. most of users complain about its WiFi weak signal strength. but believe me its only a graph issue,its WiFi strength is no weaker than the others. actually this shows 4 signals when the signals are full 100% , when the signal drop to 99 % it shows 3 signals,(whereas compare to other mobiles that shows 4 signals at 66% to 100% strength). install :ping tool:, from the play store and see the difference.

Hi, no, there is no lag of any sort except maybe while opening whatsapp. yes, it is true that wifi signal reception is very poor, so much so that I am back to using my earlier note 2 for browsing purpose, using lg gpro 2 for calling only, no purpose served I know. music audio quality is also very poor, all in all I regret buying this even if this is a good 6 inch value for money phone.

Hi, unorftunately LG G Pro 2 doesn't use 800 Mhz LTE. This frequency is called B20. I did 5457#*838# and I found only bands: 1; 5; 3; 7; 17; no Band20. My next phone will be capable of using 800Mhz for sure, becuse in Hungary 800Mhz is realy preferred.

Nope. When I had my G Pro2 the biggest con was lack of band support. I also looked through the service menus hoping to unlock more frequencies but no deal. You can see them all in the list but cannot use any of them.

It would be useful to know if the D838 model is capable of using 800MHz LTE. According to LG and this site D838 is 1800 and 2600 MHz only. The service menu should be reachable through 5457#*838#. Would someone who has he LG G Pro 2 D838 please report the list of LTE frequencies offered on that menu? Apparently the D837 model was never released: that would have offered 800Mhz as supplied. I've seen the service menu from the F350 on Youtube and 800MHz does not appear, presumably because Korea does not use that frequency for LTE. But 800MHz is commonly used in Europe for LTE. Thanks.

I agree. I bought mine on a kitkat version but when I updated to lollipop the screen went dimmer and on a slightly warmer tone as compared to cooler whites on the previous version. I also noticed the battery drains faster on lollipop. I regreted upgrading to kitkat. However, aesthetic wise, lollipop is way fancier in terms of UI than the dated look of kitkat. Bought this phone for php14990 here in the philippines. Had this as replacement to my stolen Note 3 (huhu).So far so good. Camera takes really good pics. Pretty fast ans responsive too..only downside is that it's still hard to find cases for this particular model . Buy it anyways you will not regret it. i used this phone for 9 months. overall for moderate user phone is just OK. handling is little bit tough because of 5'9 screen size. knock code and content lock and remote control is good feature. screen quality and display is good. speaker sound is also good. few days before i sold my lg g pro 2 Indian variant because this phone is not for those who browse net daily for 1-2 hours watch video daily for 1 hours and play games daily for 1 hour. that is the stamina of this phone. for this much use only i had to buy power bank. battery backup is very very poor. if you full charge battery and keep your data on than it consume 10 % battery on stand by mood. if you are getting weak signals than on moderate use battery stand for hardly 5-6 hours. without using data and wifi its standby time is 10-12 hours only it includes 10-20 min call. i had to stick with power bank all time. only because of battery back up i sold it on very cheap price. and there is no lollipop for this model in India so if you are planning to buy this phone than buy one power bank along with it otherwise it will be useless for you. its heat-up during use of camera and game like candy crush for any other inquiry feel free to ask.

Just imagine 6 inch display. smooth playing videos 4k, speakers playing your fav song, and specs, I must tell you , you can do with newest tv , smarts everything what ever you want, connect share play laugh , make hot spot wifi, connect wifi direct etc etc etc. Screen enough bright , but more yellow colour , in comparison with others lg, it doesnt disturb you can use to it. Recording cam, i think the best choice is 1080i 60p its the best cam ever had in my hands , looks really alive . Games ? pick what ever you want and you can play on it thats it ! Battery aproximatelly 1-2 days depends what you are doing. In order to samsung lg uses theirs ips lcd which is non reliable. For the bad news, wifi is little disappointing , I know thats is not notebook but , just to describe you when laptop shows signal 5/6 lg has 1/5 or dont even connect, other one is that knock code fail sometimes , although you have power button it doesnt wake up , the last one you dont have radio fm builed in , so , if you want listen radio station you must connect to internet. Did you update to android lollipop? Some users complain about battery life after update to Lollipop, it is better to stick to the kik-kat version of android. The processor of the LG g pro 2 is 32-bit, not that best optimised for lollipop i think.

Bought this phone, and battery life isn't lasting as expected. It loses around 10-20 percent when wifi is enabled per hour with casual browsing (even in airplane mode) although it almost doesn't use any battery when wifi is off. Still, for a 3200 size battery, it isn't impressive. Is it just me or this phone drains so much battery? I'm on Lollipop 5.0.1 btw.

Hey buddy, do not do that. I got fucked up around for 5-6 months because of lollipop. It will make your phone slow, also need 4 hours for a full charging. So don't be stupid. Your battery will drain like nothing. I approached many mobile shops to get my KITKAT back. But they couldn't do it. After that I did it myself. Now I'm so happy with my KITKAT.

You're using a Korean F350 G Pro2, right? If that's the case you will have to flash your phone with a modified firmware to remove the 80 character sms limit. This modified firmware may or may not exist for the F350 but that's how it's been done with other Korean phones.

A7 has much much better network support compared to the Pro2's dismal two 3g and two 4g bands -- I don't know what LG was thinking. It makes the Pro2 probably one of the worst phones if you travel a lot, otherwise yes, it's great in every other area.

Actually this is a terrible phone for use in Canada. No 3g support and 1 LTE band if you're lucky. If you're just visiting you can maybe get by but if you're living there just get something else.

My biggest regret for this device is after having updated it to Android Lollipop. Not only that Android L is power hungry, it also has some serious incompatibility issues. Mine for one is that it had a problem in that after my FB app crashed, it rebooted but then was not able to turn it on properly, instead it would prompt me to this green page saying "Demigod Crash Handler: HW Reset". Days passed it wouldn't charge the device or won't turn it on at all. If I could turn back time, I would have stayed to Android Kitkat and damned software update. I never encountered problem with Android K. My friendly note is DO NOT UPDATE TO ANDROID LOLLIPOP.

Pretty much every Android manufacturer (Sony included) has disappointed it's users at some point or another regarding software updates -- it's the Android circle of life. Today love Sony, tomorrow hate them. Tomorrow love LG, next week hate them. Next month love Samsung, next year hate them because the day will come they will all cancel or stop supporting a phone. I can tell you Samsung will not update the S4 to Android M, or LG will not update the G Pro2 to Android M and I can feel the hate-wave coming. Honestly, I'm actually surprised LG updated the G Pro2 to Lollipop because I didn't they sold enough to care. However, that said, just read on XDA forums and most users are flashing back to KitKat because KitKat is smoother and Lollipop has some app-compatibility issues on the G Pro2 and I'll take peoples words on XDA forums than GSMarena forums any day. I would update to Lollipop if it unlocked more network bands but that isn't the case. Like I said, if you want steady support, buy a iPhone. Or at least a Nexus.

Why is Android L is not good in only LG G Pro 2, because LG has not customized or built a better (however you want to understand) version of Android L. I have seen others (samsung, sony, htc, for that matter micromax) updating their phones and fixing the bugs by proving further updates. If someone wants just a phone for normal usage, will buy a low end phone where you don't get any updates. And people who has bought flagship phones always expect something extra and exceptional. I agree LG makes great phones, but what's the point if you don't get enough support from LG. There should always be a roadmap for everything and LG has to learn from others.

I vinay, yes, Iam from India. My lg gpro 2 got its lollipop update OTA and I just did it over wifi.It was a 650 mb software update. Mine is an imported unit from Hongkong, bought from ebay for 25 k without manufacturer warranty. My charger has gone kaput and am charging my mobile using my earlier note 2's charger which takes a longer time.Even with my earlier sony and Samsung mobiles, the charger went out of order within few months. Is it ok to charge using a lower voltage charger. The lollipop update is awesome,no bugs at all, looks like this mobile is made for lollipop, you should get it shortly, as is what is said here in gsmarena

Phone is great, I'm using it from 2 week now. Everything is fine except its very slippery and already fall twice from my hand from the hight of 2 feet and guess what. Both of upper corner get smashed and easily noticed. So it little fragile than other high end phones. I'm more concern to buy a armor case for it otherwise it won't last for a month in my hand. Image stabilization works OK in video recording, but in still picture I didn't feel any noticeable change as there is not much option to play around manual settings.

I have also come from a super amoled note 2 screen, but I prefer the natural colours of the lcd screen of g pro 2 and I completely hate the super saturated colours of samsung mobiles. But to be fair the colours are even more anaemic in lollipop version. The posiitives of lollipop are numerous which you can see in you tube videos, too good to skip for a few cons.

@angrybird, The screen is a little pale in toto when compared to the kit kat version. It becomes a little noticeable immediately after upgrade to lollipop and you get used to it. I would have liked to have some improvement in the audio quality of music with lollipop update but sadly that did not happen.

Preet, my lg gpro 2 received it's lolypop update on 5-5-15 my mobile seems to have been imported from Hongkong, bought from ebay.in The mobile UI now resembles that of G3 lolypop is better in manyways, all your mobiles should receive it shortly. The only negative I see is that the screen is a little pale now.

@angrymobile nerd My lg gpro 2 has received the 5.0.1 lolypop upgrade. Though there is no miracle in the upgrade, I would still b recommend it, yes, the battery life has improved, but it was always good. Do upgrade if your mobile receives an update.

Firmware V20a-31-MAR-2015 is now being rolled out OTA, this should be Lollipop 5.0.1. Any guinea pigs here already upgraded? I have no interest in upgrading unless there are substantial improvements such as battery life (which is still very good for me) or being able to choose which apps can hide the navigation icons.

My lg gpro 2 received it's lolypop upgrade yesterday. It is an imported unit bought from ebay. it was a 650 mb download. there is not much in the lolypop upgrare to like or dislike it. The screen has become a little pale and the previous cartoonish icons have gone. Buyers from India need not fret that they have not received lolypop upgrade, the previous kitkat is good as well.

Did you try going to Settings -> Tethering & networks -> Mobile networks -> Network operators and manually searching and connecting China Unicom's WCDMA or LTE network? I'm had mixed success with auto-connect when leaving and coming back into China and sometimes have had to use the manual method.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Within minutes of turning on it told me update is available so went ahead with it. It updated to Lollipop, has worked great since then no problems. I just did Antutu benchmark got 42469. If you have problem with phone after lollipop update you may need to just backup data and factory reset.

You must use China Unicom if you want 3g/4g. If you're getting nothing I'm guessing you're using China Telecom because if using China Mobile you would at least get 2g Edge data.

I got this "restriced access change" when i go to china to use this phone, and now this phone is useless,i can't use data network with chinese sim cards only can do call and sms, for internet i only can use wifi. Just after updating to lollipop, phone become very slow, even the touchscreen is lagging, battery also warm. I ran antutu, it only scores 32000. I check that free ram is 1.4 gig.looks like the phone still running something in the background. Then I wait a bit, 5 minutes, then restart the phone. Suddenly everything become normal, no more lag, antutu now 40000 which is the correct level. I have not notice any improvement yet after the update, and not trying to find either, but definitely this update is ok to do.

Did you go into tethering & networks -> mobile networks -> network operators and search for your LTE network? This function will search for ALL networks in the area (competitors and all) so if you don't see your operators LTE network coming up then maybe you need to double check your area has LTE coverage. As for the Lollipop-related problems that's just Google's way or welcoming you to Lollipop. You probably shouldn't have updated. oh well.

I faced the same battery drain issue. This is quite normal when you upgrade the firmware and battery stat file is not updated. Best fix is to do a factory reset from setting and if you can't afford to that than do a battery calibration, but it requires root access. I did it and now I am getting good battery backup.

I don,t know what rom you have, mine was TWN (Taiwan) and after the upgrade the battery life was worst, the bright in screen was up and down without reason , the video camera recording lost one option in the menu and the recording especially with low light was much worst than with 4.4.2 Happily I come back to kit kat, lollipop, no thanks.

You said you were browsing on 2g? In the case your area doesn't have 3g/4g you should go into the network settings and select "GSM only" otherwise your phone might be wasting battery always looking for a 3g/4g connection.

OMG... I have a G2, bought it about 8 months ago, I thought it would be kinda big (moved up from a 4-inch Samsung S3 mini) but didn't take long to feel like I could go bigger easily... The G2 is wonderful and the G Pro 2 is everything the G2 plus bigger screen size plus a bunch of improvements: slimmer, bigger battery, better speakers, better flash, better contrast, MicroSD slot, replaceable battery. The only thing I'll miss is the FM tuner... Oh and I'm a bit concerned whether the G Pro 2 will work on 4G networks in my country. Will have to investigate before I purchase. If that is a go, this will be irresistable...

A hidden gem of a phone! My first android phone and it's amazing! Super quick and smooth, perfect size, gorgeous screen quality, good camera and impressive battery life considering the screen size and the powerful specs. Very customisable too - seems like there's nothing LG haven't thought of. Still love the camera quality and built in FM transmitter in my old Nokia N8, but I'm blown away by the LG g pro 2. No, am not a Samsung fanboy, don't be rude. I realized only very late that the C laucher I had installed from the LG app store was eating up the battery, along with the mobigene I had installed. Once I had unistalled both, the battery now lasts for 2 days and it gets charged very quick. Am happy again and am still in awe of the fantastic UI and responsive scrren. Only grouse now is the poor music quality from the stock player, even with music enhancing apps

So, since I was a little disappointed with my gpro 2, I bought a new sim and broused in my note 2, well, though note 2 shows h+ where g pro2 showed only h, browsing is faster in gpro2, finally happy on that point. Music audio quality is definitely very inferior in gpro 2, sounds like a 50 dollar handset. Apart from this single grouse, gpro2 is generations ahead of it competition. Only after note 2 again, did I realize the smoothness of the UI and responsiveness of the touch.Software and customization in gpro 2 is unparalleled. Regarding buying it from Ebay, it is a genuine, unbroken sealed piece meant for sale in Hongkong, it is well know that HK is an educated market and gadgets sold there are of high quality. Radon, I tried using different earphones I had which gave me superb music with note 2 but they are of no use with gpro 2.I already have poweramp but again, not of any use. Terribly let down by Lg. Worse, certain pages which would load in seconds in note 2 take for ever in g pro2, which does this mobile catch H in the same room where note 2 catched H+ Huge dissapointment, am going back to note 2. The audio department is indeed terrible. In fact, there's virtually no bass at all when using the headphone which comes with the phone. I finally decided to buy a better headphone instead and used Poweramp to give the bass a boost, and luckily there's a marked improvement here on out.

Iam a huge fan of LG, since both my Lg led tvs are serving me well.Iam let down by Lg with this mobile, more so because my earlier note 2 was much better in 2 important departments, audio quality of music through headphone(note 2 was amazing, was like being in a studio),3g connectivity, in the same room where note 2 showed H+,gpro 2 shows only H andhence is slower in browsing. Aprt from these 2 grouses Gpro 2 amazez with it's customization, inumerable home screen and icon options and a lot of lauchers, which even Lg did not advertise while Oneplus screams from roof top about the same.Screen is amazing, battery life is better than note 2 and overall a very novel phone to own, if you are not a music lover.

Go for g pro 2, cheaper and good build quality. I've switched from G3 to G Pro 2. G3 screen is dull compared to g pro 2, and eats battery life a lot because of its quad HD display which is unnecessary for phone. The laser focus on G3 back scratched easily.

So Ive been using this phone for about 3 months and there are some problems pissing me off since I bought the LG G Pro 2. Firstly, whenever I start watching Youtube videos, the front touch buttons wouldn't hide and it has Friggin blocked 1/10 of the screen. Obviously it is very annoying. I've seen people saying that u can hide it by choosing the option "hide front screen button" BUT THERE AINT THIS FRIGGIN CHOICE IN THE LG G PRO 2!!!! secondly, is whenever I use snapchat to record videos, there'll be a "beep" sound and I can't turn it off. So please guys, think before u buy. there may be some cool functions with this phone, but I'm kinda getting pissed off by the above problems and I really would appreciate if they could fix this problem.

Well according to GSMArena's tests the G Pro 2's battery gives you 22% more power over the original G Pro (50 hours rating of the G Pro VS the 61 hours of the G Pro 2). Whether or not that's enough is up to you. Honestly it's 2015 now, although I have a G Pro 2 which I bought over 6 months ago, I wouldn't buy one today -- I'd get something else instead. Maybe a MX4 Pro, or Ascend Mate7 but then again I'm in China.

You seem to be very interested in battery life so I'll sum it up for you: The stand-by drain is very low, I'd say less than most phones out there. I leave wi-fi on all night and it will only lose 5-6% overnight. Now, actually using the phone I'd say the battery life is average to maybe a little below average. Sometimes I have been in boring conferences and just browse and read on my phone all day and by the end of the day I still have 15-20% left with 5 hours of screen-on time. Games and Youtube will drain the battery significantly faster. If gaming is your thing, I'd definitely stay away from the G Pro 2 as other users have posted disappointed battery performance with heavy gaming. It's all how you use the phone, personally I like the endurance, I like the low stand-by drain because I hate how other phones magically drain when you're not even using them. But overall the battery performance isn't anything that special so if you're looking for a phone with fantastic battery life I'd look elsewhere -- probably Sony, some of their newer phones have outstanding battery life.

Using the phone moderately with screen brightness at 55% usually gets me 1.5 to 2 days of use with about 3 hours of screen-on time by the end of the second day. I don't play games,just talk, text, youtube and read books/magazines. And 99% of the time I'm using wifi for data so its always on. The stand-by is the best part as when you're not using the phone the stand-by drain even with wifi on is very low, usually only losing 5-6% overnight.

currently using the G Pro 2 for 5 months. i love the built quality and practicality of the volume button at the back. battery usage is good but not that impressive. if using for basic stuff such as whats app ,some internet surfing, call and message can get you 1 day with usually 15 % battery left before going to sleep at night. But if u using it for full graphic gaming (sim city/ dead trigger 2/ temple run) and extensive web surfing, its gonna drain the battery faster.seriously said thou. the snapdragon chip and 3 Gb RAM is just nice for the smooth user experience.so far, i didn't face any problem with phone lag or hanging in the middle of usage. the 13 megapixel camera is good.produce great photos and video. but cannot match the pure view from nokia lumia 930 or quality of the 20 megapixel sony xperia z3. was expecting for the G pro 3. but never heard the news from LG yet. Maybe they are focusing to market the LG G3 at the moment. As a multiple phone user, i would recommend the phone if you want a good product with a little different taste from majority of user who prefer phone like Galaxy note 3 or the Galaxy s 5

you can use 3rd party app for this app named app2sd in play store or go to settings-->apps-->choose the app that you want to migrate to memory card ....its done....some apps like whatsapp,gmail could not be moved as they need system memory to run which is default in android .....hope this helps :)

I only owned it 2 days,, when I started to put apps on it, I now realize that the device has a lot of issues mostly on software, sms 80 ch, apps compatibility etc, and on hardware It is not compatible to my local network, when I connect to internet it only have a G sign means GPRS only, very slow internet unlike my other phone which bought localy have an H on internet. the filipina maid of koreans sold it to me because maybe korean trashed and I bought it at low price.

Not personally owned but I've seen and handled it because in southern China all the grey markets always get Korean phones in by the boat full. Not very often to find new Korean phones in Hong Kong but the second hand shops there always seem to have A LOT, maybe all the maids bring them over and get rid of them? My advice stands; don't buy Korean phones unless you're in Korea. I'm not surprised or phased that my comments attracted a proud F350 owner (you). You better hope the Koreans keep using their F350's otherwise you can say good-bye to future OS updates because the carriers won't bother to waste resources to issue one.

I don't recommend buying any Korean phone unless you're using it in Korea. The Korean versions are cheaper for a reason, you know. While still very usable, they also can come with a lot of headaches leaving you regretting not buying the international version in the first place. Some models the LTE won't work when roaming, some models no Edge data, some models limited SMS function, and then a ton of Korean bloatware and hardware (DMB tv) you can't use outside of Korea just to name a few.

ok you're hopeless. You've obviously already bought a F350 and are now seeking validation that you made the correct purchase -- unfortunately, you did not. This wouldn't be your first smartphone by any chance, would it? It's just not limited to the F350 or even Korean phones, but when you buy any carrier branded phone from one country and use it on another carrier in another country you will run into problems, get limited functionality and band support, and some features or apps just won't work unless on their native carrier's network. And on top of all of that, support and software updates are usually issued by the carrier -- not the manufacturer.

No, you cannot, otherwise all the shops would already be doing this. Sometimes people come out with a custom rom that helps fix some of the problems with Korean phones but once you go that route you won't get anymore official OTA updates from LG. Trust me it's not worth it, unless you are in Korea otherwise get the D838.

The F350 is the Korean version and usually comes in 3 carrier branded versions S, K, or L. I'm going to make this easy; don't buy the F350. I'm sure it's cheaper but it won't be worth the trouble. Korean bloatware, shorter SMS character limits on some models, and a useless DMB TV antenna that will get snagged in your pocket all the time are just some of the problems associated with Korean phones. The Korean carrier branded firmwares usually have less settings options than international versions, too (and no, you can't flash international firmware onto F350). Korean phones outside of Korea = bad. Avoid at all costs even if it means paying a little more for a D838. Buy the D838.

Although the kitkat build has gesture typing built into the stock keyboard, there is no gesture typing (Swype/Continuous input) available on the phone 2. Multiple files sharing: We cant select multiple files in the gallery itself. It can only be done in the file manager 3. No Wifi Direct sharing on the phone by default. 4. Have not yet been able to connect the phone to my computer via the LG software. Can only do it as a bluetooth connection and via USB

Depends what your definition of "way better" is. The G Pro 2 basically has newer OIS+, an extra GB of ram, and a removable battery and SD card slot over the (international) G2. Performance wise they are almost identical. The G2 actually has better connectivity, supporting a lot more frequencies if travelling/roaming is your thing. I have a gut feeling the G2 will also get software updates faster/first over the G Pro 2 as well.

You can't customize those but the idea is that those are the most commonly used so you would set one to be a period and the other to be a comma, for example. I'm actually very impressed with the stock keyboard on the G Pro 2, I find it very intuitive.

I bought this phone last Thursday and so far this phone blow me away!!!! It's incredible. The performance, UI, sound, display and everything. But there's only one very small thing that I kept asking on my mind, why default keyboard has 2 pop up characters between space bar and enter but they're exactly the same. I try to customize it but there's no choice to delete that part. This function make my space bar smaller and make me always typo by typing '.' While I want to tap space bar. I don't want to use third part cos what lg's default keyboard provide is perfect and I don't think that third part will have as complete as lg did. Is there anyone can help me how to customize my default keyboard?

Yes the update was offered by lg India itself.I updated my phone through OTA using wifi and after updating the phone everything seems to be working fine.battery life is great.It consumes almost 1or 2% during the whole night(10hours)

pro 2 is good in everything UI, touch (even can use metal touch), camera but battery had limitation in playing 3D games (online). It drain very quickly compare with G2.. only that weekness...but good in browsing, facebook, using with 3G or Wifi...:)

LG did release an update about a month (or two?) back to add G Watch compatibility, not sure if there were other changes. Didn't install because I would rather wait to hear others feedback first, I'm too happy with my battery life to risk a shody update that introduces a battery drain.

Lol, im using the same LG VU P895. It still have'nt received a Jelly bean update (though promised by LG). Makes me wonder if this phone would have the same fate as that of the VU. The point to be noted here is the similarities between the VU and the G PRO2 (obviously in terms of the business strategy by LG. Both the phones are excellent in terms of hardware (in their era) but both were under-marketed. Hopefully, the PRO 2 shouldnt face the same under-valued support from LG.

The screen is not fused to the glass so you need to establish is it just the glass cracked or is the sceeen broken too? Replacement glass front will cost around 30 USD but if you need screen + glass it'll run you over 100 USD depending where you order from. I would only DIY if you can find a guide for this specific model, otherwise let someone with experience do it.
