LG GW910 - User Reviews

  • LG makes only occasional good things.

  • Wen you called someone you cannot end the call

  • useless phone.. its totally waste of money... camera qulaity is very poor. too much weight.. i can't write its all problems here.

  • Where can i buy it? There is no refernence on LG website to this phone.

  • i need the batery or the remplace? help

  • whats d price of this phone

  • verry great experience to use lg gw910....

  • When the phone will be released? I like its design its like Omnia's It would be a great phone when it released

  • just like samsung omnia hd

  • No card Slot?? tsk

  • nice phone ,wat abot price?

  • best phone compare to any other devices

  • dude, true.i had a look.cheers.i guess the gsmarena review i read was a bit ahead of itself.they should do another one.

  • Windows Phone supports memory cards, take a look at Samsung Focus, it has secondary camera and microSD card expansion. Also, all WP7 phones either have internal microSD card or internal flash memory with microSD expansion(like Focus). Internal microSD cards can be replaced but hard-reset is required.

  • the truth is i dont think win7 supports secondary cam features such as video calling and such thats why no win7 phone will have a secondary camera.also no win7 phone supports memory card slot, mass storage usb mode or bluetooth file transfers.

  • why hasnt have a secondary camera? does it mean it cant be use for videocall on FRING?

  • it looks the same as the Samsung i8910 which was released more than a year ago.

  • So, WP7 doesn't support video call, so... why is there a secondary camera on the phone?!?

  • Quite surprising that in this world of tera bytes and dependence on external data storage these companies are thinking of popularising devices that are prone to getting outdated soon just because of their inability to increase data storage. Only one reason that comes to my mind why WINDOWS and APPLE don't allow external memory cards in their phone because higher capacity cards or sometimes even lower capacity cards lead to excess consumption of processing power in reading and deciphering the data which might reveal the shortcomings of otherwise claimed as FAST PROCESSORS. Is windows thinking of creating an IPHONE duplicate, not sure how they would in this quickly liberating world.

  • It is announced and we can't know the whole specs??

  • what about memory? please give me detail of internal and external memory

  • which is better, android OS or windows 7 OS??

  • One thing to remember is that MS are pushing cloud services. As far as they are concerned your data should all be stored on SkyDrive, your email on Live Mail (or whatever crummy web-based email service you use), and your music and videos streamed using your Zune Pass. Social networking is all cloud-based as well. Thus they won't worry about storage space on their devices, as they don't see why you would need it - they don't quite realise that data costs to many of us are still horrendously high.

  • I keep thinking that I'd be happy living the Symbian life, once I get rid of my Blackberry, but the more I look into the new WP7 OS the more I'm begining to like it. I'm not really a big app kind of person. I'm not a heavy social networker person either so the OS's ability with that dosn't matter too much. I'm more interested in the way it interacts with Windows 7 for the PC, and how much I can really do on this thing. I'm probably one of the few people who use the MSN SkyDrive feature which can come in handy and it'll be awesome if they can incorporate that feature into the phone, or make is possible to pull up files from my PC using my phone like the Homegroup funtions. I don't know how I feel about LG being the first company developing it, but they do have a very soild rep in the states, and I don't really see them screwing it up. The lack of an SD Card slot, dose suck, but if it can link up to my computer at home or has a big internal memory I wouldn't mind too much. I think this is going to be a very unique development, I love the look of the OS, it's simplistic which is a good thing, at least I think so.

  • Well even though most companies droped the IR tech, newer TV's are equppied with DNLA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, you name it companies are sticking it in them. The Samsung GalaxyS phones can all function as TV remotes considering you have a compatiable Samsung model. But with that being said, I'm sure that once that feature builds up, some third party will develop something to suite those needs/wants.

  • pls check here for more information

  • hey its look is very good, im waiting for dis phone to operate windows 7,mainly in dis is that ithas 1ghz processer

  • can i used video call in this phone ?

  • can i used video colling in this phone ?

  • lol i had a play with this today.. it was awesome.. it worked so well. intuitive and quick. bounce around the hubs seamlessly. im Android through and through but i have have to say. im looking forward to seeing what this does to the market.

  • I'm sad I waited for 5 month to see the feature of WOS 7 but this is just like non-OS phone

  • ggggggaaaaaaaaays but good and exciting

  • Windows Phone Seven Does'nt support memory card for data security.

  • iphone4 dont have card slot provided with 16/32gb internal memory. i would predict that this phone internal memory be at 32/64gb. therefore, don't need a card slot.

  • Windows 7 mobile phones can't support memory cards! This is the truth. It's sad.

  • Must have for any smart phone 1) Dual SIM 2) Stylus input in addition

  • U really think this phone will not be introduced without a cardslot? Unless it is getting a 16GB or bigger internal memory I guess you can make a safe bet on saying it WILL get a card slot and it WILL be shown in the stats once this phone becomes OFFICIAL. And I haven't seen proper multi-tasking yet on any phone... At least, not better than my WinMo 5.0 already did six years ago.

  • Ram?? Internal memory?? We can't know anything right now about those?

  • wats the memory capacity

  • * LG is not the only WP7 manufacturer, other include: HTC, Samsung, Dell...

  • LG is the only WP7 manufacturer, other include: HTC, Samsung, Dell...

  • Good thinking. I think microsoft needs someone who reasons like u in their mobile department. Wish them goodluck all the same

  • hmm..hope SonyEricsson will come out with WP7 too..

  • i noticed most smartphones nowadays have given up on the infrared feature of the phone. i just hope that someday these phone manufacturers would be able to incorporate the capability of tv remote controller into smartphones. just a wish.

  • Other than not supporting multi-tasking, WP7 also does not support external memory. Some people in Microsoft must think that these not-supporting things were the one that made iPhone succeed.

  • does not contain card slot ??? LG not a company which can change the look to windows phone 7 ..... i hope my opinion is wrong

  • I love the direction WIN phone 7 is going. Large clear icons and text, a refreshing departure from the usual widgets\folders\apps interface. The hubs make a lot of sense: Instead of having 5 social apps, you use all those networks (facebook, twitter, myspace...) from one place. Now we need apps to fill those hubs, and a really good sync with the "Big" Windows OS.

  • I wish Microsoft every success with WP7, but I think its gonna flop monumentally! Why? Because LG is the wrong manufacturer to start with. Okay sure the other phone makers are are not interested so their options were limited, but this was a chance to get better relationships with the smartfone newbies or uderdogs. Toshiba, Dell, Acer, HP. They could have capitalized on relationships that exist already because these are big PC makers. The fact is, hardly anybody moves from a Nokia, SE or Samsung and goes to LG. It just doesn't happen, but these are the customers they need to get. Work with the other known PC makers, because those brands are already associated with windows anyway. So when someone sees HP+Windows, they can trust it coz thats what their PC or Laptop is as well. This LG thing ain't gonna work. Oh and this fone looks too much like a Samsung Omnia HD!!!!!!!

  • nice to see that LG launch first WP7 & i m waiting for it now i think to buy it first...

  • noo card slot??????

  • This seems like a pretty promising device just from all the OS demos I've seen. You can't take all of what's on there as 100% because that spec sheet is based of what very little info has been leaked on it. This thing could be way more powerful upon its release for all we know. Anyways, I'm excited for the OS, I love it's looks and with MS OneNote on board (with the rest of the office suite I'm sure) this thing will be just an amazing productivity tool. I just kind of hope for audio to use the Zune MP3 players as a reference because those are truly the best of the best for music.

  • lg has to provide the TV out with HDMI port.

  • LG has to provide the business card scanner, document editor and outlook mail with one note.

  • Nice

  • u should read agian..it also mention WIFI..

  • This lacks a memory stick?? How could this be possible? Or it has memory stick?

  • now this looks like omnia hd

  • lacking? LoL!

  • it's a LG... That means everything

  • chk ur eyes..visit a optometrist..lol..the phone has wifi

  • Having window 7 and No WiFi? LoLz 100% Rumored

  • People are comparing this to the Mondrian & Dell Lightning. Fair enough i guess but those 2 phones look to be absolutely massive. If this is a fair bit smaller i think it would be a much more attractive option rather than carrying around a virtual laptop in your pocket...

  • Very interesting and elegant I want specifics on the lg gm600 (2 scarlet tv phone, for the Brazilian market) please thanks

  • awesome outlook.i think LG this time wont go with 256k display..

  • This looks like a solid phone. I just wish that Microsoft would go ahead and manufacture their own smart phone, and no, I'm not talking about the KIN. This is a great start, though.

  • no suprise

  • its looking amazing

  • I think it's alright. I would like to see htc offering as I currently run a tytn II. but the Mondrain doesn't appear to have a keyboard, please correct me if i am wrong?

  • looks a bit like omnia hd with that silver strip on front

  • This phone will get blown away by the Dell Lightning unless LG prices it much lower

  • On the surface, looks like a very well speced phone. Has all the features I need in a phone i.e. 3.5mm jack, LED flach. Lacking in spec's like wi-fi, battery and size but should be up to spec.

  • look at the htc mondrian it has 1.3ghz processor..

  • Good specs...

  • THIRD ! i think this will be the best phone right next to moto droid 2 (shadow/or one with keyboard)

  • don't like LG that much but this one seems nice

  • Nice design, cool phone. I like it.
