LG K4 - User Reviews

  • This phone has always been a problem. Unfortunately this time, it is drop calls and cut-off during calls. This is very irritating and disruptive. No one seems to have a solution. I have changed the SIM Card twice, done reset three times. The problem persists. Bell wants me to buy a new phone, more expensive with less features. LG is not taking the responsibility for their product by replacing my phone and repairing the faulty one. I am going to have a repair person take a look at my phone if it is worth repairing. I shall appreciate if anyone out there has a solution for this cut-out problem. I am disappointed that LG did not stand by their product. I shall never buy an LG phone.

  • Ive had this phone for over two years now and it was been great, it was on sale for $80 at walmart and has not let me down. The only limitation I have encountered is the 8gb, if you plan on having lots of apps and a game or two you will surely run out of space. Lesson learned the next phone I purchase will have more storage.

  • The only phone under 5" with 4G I found on the market (years ago). It is a bit slow, but it is obvious reading its specs. What did you expect for this price. Perfect as a 4G hotspot. Bluetooth also supports SAP (rSAP) protocol to be connected to Premium VAG VOLKSWAGEN bluetooth module. This is awesome.

  • Prior to this I had a "flip phone". Bought this for $79.95 two years ago only so I could have an on-screen keyboard so I could text without taking 20 minutes to write 12 words. I appreciate the simple apps like a calculator and an alarm. It also plays my music. I don't need it for anything else so it's worth what I paid for it.

  • DO NOT BUY this poor quality phone. Less than 2 years after purchase it is now crashed.

  • OMG, how hard can it be to transfer pictures from a phone to a computer? You just connect the phone through USB cable, enable mass storage, and boom! LOL

  • Sorry I bought this phone, too many irritants to list. Transferring pictures to a laptop is so complicated that I gave up. Time to shop for a better product.

  • its a pretty bad Phone, but i got it as a starter and it does what its supposed to do for a very low price. i have a better Phone now, but i have grown attached to this thing. my new one broke down so i had to use this one for a little while and it is fine

  • Love this phone bought it around 2017 and it still works and no scratches on the phone am surprised cause I have a two year old that will randomly throw the phone and it still looks new

  • The storage is pretty terrible, but the camera is in 720p, while the screen is 480p, so of course that looks terrible on the device.

  • Very stupid phone. Has poor reception. Takes poor photos. Low memory, yet doesn't allow sd card to be default storage.

  • The K4 121 also supports band 12. This phone is only LTE for data. It does not support voice over LTE. Calls are made through 2G GSM or 3G UMTS.

  • I was looking for a phone with a replacable battery, dual sim, 2014+, 4.5+ inch screen, android OS, 1GB+ ram, less than 68 width since they make phones ridiculously big and hard to handle. Easy to slip and fall. That's how I'm here. I don't care about the pricetag

  • sounds like any typical scumbag phone company... they want to make the phones big, clunky, slippery. Meanwhile they make the excuse how ''sleak'' and ''thin'' they are... in other words... easy to break. Because then they expect you to come back and buy a new one. But you won't. Not from LG. And I won't either, thanks for your comment. I'm looking for a decent company

  • Just got this phone..The case is so hard and thin...and Within the first 10 days the phone slipped off the counter 5 times....once at the hair dresser and broke into 3 pieces. We put it back together but since then it's slipped off a pile of paper that wasn't quite level, vibrated off another table and has fallen off counters etc. Also as soon as my stuff was transferred over from my old 8 gb. phone, this one was already short of storage...not impressed.

  • I've had this phone for about 2 years, and in the first 6 months it was decent. Until suddenly i accidentally dropped it AND OF COURSE IT SHATTERED EVERYWHERE!!! I Didn't use this phone for about a year, because i was using it's replacement HTC One M7. But then i repaired this crappy phone. I bought a screen protector right away!! Using this phone for 2 weeks and it had already cracked in several areas!! AND I DIDN'T EVEN DROP IT!! Just because of throwing it into A FLUFFY PILLOW!! But that wasn't even the worst THING!! One day, when i came home from school, when i tried to turn it on,IT DID!!!! But the phone itself didn't work. I'm disappointed. AND ALSO, I NEED A REFUND!!!! I Have a new cheap replacement. It's Called Huawei Y6 (2018)

  • Crappy phone and useless, advertised with a 8gb internal storage but doesn't tell you just over half that space is used up by the operating system and default apps. I've had the stupid thing for about 9 months and and it can't update anymore due to no space on the phone. You can't put any apps or games onto the sd card to save space on the phone. Probably will never buy a lg phone again after thinking I was upgrading from the iPhone 4 which had a full 8gb internal storage for you to use and found out I down graded to a phone that had less space than an outdated phone.

  • What a piece of junk! After 2 years, couldn't make calls because it didn't transmit sound to the person receiving the call -- although sound came to the caller. It stilled worked as an audio device, so I downloaded some books onto it. But now it turns off with some frequency even if fully charged. (And charge also runs down quickly)

  • I am very clumsy but never had a phone break on me this quick before. Is it just me? The phone is 3 months old and the screen and bezel is shattered after falling once. Can't get gorilla glass or rubber covers for this device in this country that actually fits. 3 month old phone and it looks like its been in a blender. Sorry to say this, but, G3 was better but it had screen and battery issues. I prefer Samsung and HTC devices. Best device I ever had was the HTC Desire.

  • I absolutely hated this phone! Got extra external storage but there is very little you can save to it! Always short on storage couldn’t even get email!

  • Apps are opening on there own it gose off the app when im tring to do somthing or it clicks on an app i did not push when i push the app above it if i hade to rate this phone it would be a score -10 ill never buy anther phone from this company

  • My guess is the attraction is from being on sale as an affordable 110$ ish (cnd) prepaid phone at bestbuy.ca ? That's how I ended up here comparing it to other phones.

  • If you want a phone thats capable of doing even the bare minimum then this phone isnt for you takes 5 hours to charge and lasts about 15 minutes heavy use the camera is beyond useless so much so that when you zoom in you can never tell what the hell you took a photo of the camera often takes photos of your leg when its in your pocket and with a 8gb storage it adds up fast and dont even think about downloading an app because apparently the phone cant even support netflix, no surprise they discontinued the phone

  • Worst mobile made. No space, no settings for make space for files. Is a shitty mobile, stupid people did it

  • Today, I was using my phone for a simple game. Nothing happened but then I set it down to charge. I watched some movies while it was off and I checked it. Turned it off than on but something happened. A small purple smudge on my screen appeared. It seemed like I had pen ink rubbed onto it though I wouldn't come off. I need to know what to do since the smudge is very frustrating and I don't want to keep seeing every time I check Snapchat or my Facebook account. The screen still works but makes it hard to read things I am looking at on my cellular device. Please help me figure out how to get this pesky little spot to disapper.

  • hi can someone help I have an kg 4 and when I got into phones and ask it to go on full screen it says cannot connect try again but dose not connect does anyone know how to put this right thanks

  • It's unfortunate warranties don't cover idiots being idiots. Maybe consider sticking with a rotary phone, unless you plan on getting an extension cord long enough to bring in the shower with you...

  • You brought an electronic device into the shower?

  • I got a LG K4 for Christmas was bought the 24th and the circuit bored is corroded from listening to music in the shower and they won't cover it under our warranty

  • I bought a sim free card from Argos, 4months on the battery is kaput!!!!!! I contacted style.they said to contact lg. Awaiting a reply. Will never buy any of products again!!!

  • listen up buckaroos, this is The Best fone. your life is not good because you don't own this phone. This is no starter fone, this is an ender fone. This is the final form of perfection.

  • Truly, the first phone I can say is truly innovative in the last years. It comes cheap, but has many feautures. You can compare it to the top phones in all time, this one's the best. Big Beautiful Bezels: iPhone X - no; LG K4 - Yes Grip Texture: iPhone X - slippery as heck, will fall; LG K4 - is bound by the laws of physics to not fall CPU: iPhone X - Bionic A11 Apple Chip; LG K4 - yes Screen Comparison: iPhone X - obstructed by the notch, unsupported aspect ratio, too big; LG K4 - fun-sized 16:9 display, has all the RGBs Battery Life: iPhone X - 3.2 seconds; LG K4 - till the universe goes into a state of maximum entropy

  • W T F ##( ,,,, f*** that out of the list LGK4

  • Might be fake hits

  • go home drunk, you're gsm arena

  • 220000 daily hits for that?? Wtf

  • Well, if the X4+ doesn't come to the United States, I'm buying this. I didn't even remember the K4 when I was browsing LG phones on GSM Arena last year, but after seeing it first place, I'll now give it serious thought.

  • Wtf? 200000 daily hits??? It must be a glitch

  • whooahhhh what happened ??!!! why this phone goes on top

  • I was considering the iPhone X, but the LG K4 is so much better.

  • Exactly what I thought lol. Just saw it on first place of daily interest. Explanation anyone?

  • Why is this phone from 2 years ago getting so much attraction?

  • Really really bad. Ive has some value phones over the years but this is the first one to be truly unusable. Phone tends to get really hot and at times won't charge. I'd have it plugged in all night and it would be at 5% in the morning. Next to no storage. Very poor signal and drops calls all the time. Struggled to send texts and browsing web forget about it. Never tried games but since the phone was so unresponsive to begin with I didn't bother.

  • I have the same problem Most of the manufacturer system takes up the data. I had required a phone to play games , check my email , text and phone occasional This phone LGK4 sold by Bell is no use. Such a useless piece of equipment

  • Terrible phone. Over half of the 8GB is taken up with "system data", whatever that is, and so unusable as a smart phone. Tried to resolve it, had it replaced but the same thing happened. Probably fine for phone calls and texts but should not sell itself as something it is not (ie smart phone). Had to be replaced within 6 months (although would have done it in 1month if funds had allowed) as simply the worst, most irritating device out there.

  • Hi! I had the exaclty same problem as you and I solved this using a protective film on the cellphone screen, so it makes the touch much easier than before. Sorry for bad english, I'm just lerning!! Regards

  • A phenomenal phone for its price, the only problem I have come across so far is thst it is quite difficult to type at times, words mush together or the wrong button registers during typing, seems to be storage issues for apps, im told to put apps on the SD card but I havent figured this out yet... But other than that, no other issues, great battery life, and it has never been slow for me.

  • I got this phone from a friend used one and i had to install pre rooted rom to get root access

  • I got this phone recently. And think it,s a really good 4g phone. Good battery life, against some of the top brands. Which have a very poor battery life. And what you pay £100,s for. My only dislike. Is the horrible back battery cover. But certainly not an issue.,With the lg k4.

  • Got this for £40 - brilliant for the price and does everything I want. Don't know why people complain about the lack of memory, when all you have to do is insert a 32GB SD card (cost

  • I understand that this phone isn't perhaps the best one out there and that it has lots of lag and annoying issues but there are a number of things you can do to speed things up 1.) Move all your downloaded apps to an SD card this will free up alot of space 2.) Download a launcher. I personally use OO launcher. It makes everything alot quicker and it comes with its own storage cleaner ams RAM booster Of course these solutions wont fix the bugs and lag totallt but Theyll make a significant deference.

  • Absolutely do not buy this piece of crap. Not enough space to even install a 5mb app, after 2 months its so slow that it takes 4 seconds for the screen to light up after the home buttom is pressed.

  • Love my LG G6. xxx

  • you must find a wifi or use the internet from a number card

  • Hope they fix issues for new phones ... LG is good company all we know ... unless it's UI that now got better than before , they SHOULD fix boot loop problems , weak connections on boards , and other hardware issue. they same do like HTC at falling . i have same problem when i turned on Plane Mode . all data / contact gone until reset also with replacing the battery. they do really some bad they bring fast performance with no lag it's wonderful they even fix their security problems via monthly patches make lg even better . but they got freeze i mean touch freeze when they have not any lags / delay in ui . they should change their designs they did very well at g5 ... but they didn't add enough options as huawei EMEI or MIUI or other major companies like samsung at budget / midrange phone by the way still LG is one the best / Honest companies hope got better at selling

  • i have k10 and work much with magna and other LGs ... LG K4 is worst ever android / smartphone ... i prefer to buy 2.3 android phone or feature phone over this phone it's display is worst and phone is not good too. Go for any another phone china phones are best at budget and any other phone is better than lg k4 , do not sure it's same for k3/k4 2017

  • How can I use this phone to go on line? Thank you for all responses!!

  • Agreed, the K4 is a complete piece of crap. Try plugging a headset in and the screen constantly locks every 2-3 seconds, also can't use the keypad during a call with a headset plugged in as the touch screen becomes miss-aligned making it almost impossible to type the correct numbers. Considering this was provided as a business headset where I need to use Webex which requires keypad input during calls it is completely useless to me.

  • Impossible to swipe and answer calls. Typing takes forever as the words meld and move all over the place. My iphone savy kids were amazed at how hard it is to type on this POS,

  • This IS a good phone, it does what it needs to to, and does it well, but it is a great phone if you're on a budget.

  • I do not recommend the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, it has update problems and It's a little buggy. Of course, the battery is great, it has a 5.3 inch, 720p display, running 7.0 Nougat, but as it gets older, you will feel that it's getting old, hotter and buggy. But if you really want to make a change, go for it.

  • I have had this phone for about a year now, and it has been a good phone for me. I occasionally have issues with it bogging down and slowing down, especially on intensive apps, as well as some websites, usually ones crammed full of ads. Beyond that, the only other issue is that the camera is meh. A lot of the pictures I try to take are slightly grainy, plus there seems to be little to no motion stabilization or whatever the proper term is, so it can be difficult to take a clear, unblurred shot. The only other issue is that I never clear out my message conversations, because I like to be able to go back and reread them, so over the course of the year I've had this, I have built up what I estimate to be several thousand texts on the conversation with my best friend, and the sheer number of texts it's trying to keep loaded on that conversation has been bogging it down lately. If I cleared it out though, that problem would disappear.

  • Had this phone for a week and it sucks. First of all, the screen is slow and unresponsive, scrolling will accidentally result in opening random pages, it's a nightmare when trying to back out. Secondly, the phone is incredibly slow. Dont bother with this phone if you want to game, browse internet or making simple documents. A chocolate bar phone at this point is a better alternative.

  • Basically happy with the phone, good size and all, but very disappointed in the camera. Indoors or low light, the pictures are very granular, spoils the shot.

  • I keep reading about people having issues with their LG phones shutting down and having to.take the batteries out and put them back in to.turn them on. I am thinking it.may be bad battery connections, i.e. poor spring strength/contact, causing momentary loss of contact. Maybe a gentle adjustment of the contacts on the battery or in the phone would solve this issue. It seems to get worse with older phones, which adds to my thought. Just an idea. Worth a try.

  • Its a cheap starter smart phone. I bought mine 11 months ago with Verizon. I needed it so I could call from Canada on Verizon's plan and it was the cheapest they had. Bought a good case and glass cover. I've dropped it several times on hard surfaces from as high as six feet with no visible damage. I used it mainly for voice and text, played music to Bluetooth headsets, a little internet, and some race following apps. The battery life was comparable to most smart phones. It would go all day if it wasn't used, would drop below 70% after four hours of music and one of my race following apps (F1) could take it to 60% in 2 hours. The camera can zoom, but it's not easy to manipulate or use any of the camera features. The pictures are OK in bright daylight, but poor in low or indoor lighting. My problem is at nine months, my phone did a factory reset on its own. Verizon said this was a defect and sent me another one the next day. It also cleared everything off my SD card. Today, 40 days later, my new one did it again. SD card is reset too. I haven't even dropped this phone. The only app the ever runs most days is the built in music app and I wasn't even listening today. Just mowed the grass and when I came in to change clothes I checked my phone and it was in Spanish asking me to sign in to the internet.

  • great phone ....stable and battery life is amazing spends a day + on LTE network and on full brightness

  • The LG K4 LTE is a piece of CRAP!! The phone SUCKS!! Bad battery life, won't even last a full day without needing to be recharged. I have had the phone two months now and now I'm having problems with the display. The screen goes blank. I pull the battery, sometimes it reboots ok and sometimes it doesn't. I would not recommend this phone to anyone, it SUCKS.

  • I have been using LG K4 for more than 1 year Pros - good battery life - camera is all right. nice colours. better than huawei n samsung -4.5 display. Sleek phone. Extremely comfortable on hands. . - rough usage. ive been really rough on my k4. not on purpose. but. Accidentally. fell it soo many times. still works just fine. but buy yourself a good cover n a thick tempered glass. cons so far . there is nothing to complain about. but. make sure u get your k4 serviced/repaired ONLY by a pro. or. . . LG workshop would be better. LG phones are well built. even the cheap ones. do not buy cheap range phones by samsung huawei etc.

  • I've had this phone for about a year, and in 2 months the screen was already cracked. (It fell off my computer desk, onto a thick carpet.) Even an egg is more durable when dropped on a concrete floor.

  • I dont care what anyone says .. I think it kicks ass for it's price..got it at Wal-Mart for115 and a 20 credit for phone service! Im used to the Samsung s5 so you cant beat the price. With an extra 340$ in my pocket... Its fast..does not freeze... No stalling, and light on the touch.. I'm assuming that some people got a bad batch or something, cause i have no issues with it! And I know phones! Better than any Apple product I've had...at least it will run.. Not like my door stop apple 4s, nit a singe app is available...even textme.. What a waste of my money I had an older Samsung"by 4 years, Alcatel 2 years newer than that and still is good... To give away.

  • Screen brightness is low - had to put on max to view photos.

  • You should go to file manager to make it. There is a move option there.

  • It is low end phone

  • it a rubbish fone it always lag and slow

  • After having this phone for about a year. I am finding that im charging it all the time . the camera is bad there is no zoom and no options! Battery life is just no go. It freezes up Somtimes and has slow response time it is out dated. But on the plus side it still works for surfing and has really useless apps built in. Have dropped it lots and nothing is broken. No cases available. But untill I can buy a new asus zenfone max this is still going

  • This phone is a complete lemon. Apps constantly "stop working and have to close". It randomly restarts constantly. These issues arose from day one and were still pervasive after I did a hard restart and tried to run it with all factory installed apps. I got this phone to tide me over for two weeks until the S8 comes out but it is useless as a smartphone as it can't run apps. I guess they are still selling it in order to give people the worst possible experience with a cheap phone so that they go out and buy a much more expensive one. LG is actually being sued right now because these are widespread issues with their phones. Rightly so, because it is illegal to knowingly sell a product that can't function. I never leave reviews, but this phone is such garbage that I felt like I had to share my experience. Buyer beware, don't get this phone even if they pay you to buy it.

  • This phone work fine fluidity is there and the screen is really soft on finger a really good phone for evryone

  • You had a bad luck. Mine works perfect. Never freezes, never going to loose a call.

  • Never use micro sd card without formatting in new phone!!! I try this and had problems with sound tone when somebodey calls me, and other big troubles... It's not good idea use card between diferent vendors and phones.

  • this my second phone new to this game but it is lg and they have always been topshelf technology except for lack of memory (no fault of phone) it is a good statrer phone wellpriced with good features maxed out with a 32gb sd and 8gb hd is more than most people need for everyday use all in all good phone i have no issues with it out of normal conditions

  • Worst phone ever. Has never held a charge since day 1,EVER, freezes up often, and to top everything off I took my card out of my one phone and put it into this one, I drop calls constantly, even when outside, NEVER ever did that before, it's the same chatr card that was in my phone previously I just switched it out to this phone, now all of a sudden every time I turn around it's dropping calls. Cannot stand this phone, looking for a new one

  • NB: The Canadian version of this phone (from Koodo) takes a nano sim, not a micro sim. @egolzz I like the File Explorer app from NextApp, it should help you move your files around.

  • How will i transfer my files like videos photos etc. from phone memory to SD card??...my phone memory is almost full but the SD card storage has a lot of space..

  • good phone does all any normal user would want and more

  • Did you drop it? Is the screen cracked? If the proximity sensor is continuously active during calls it means that its damaged. Has the phone been wet? If its in fine working order you should be able to get manufacturer warranty...If not, you should treat electronics better.

  • It will vary from carrier to carrier. Some may not release an upgrade to Marshmallow for the LG K4 at all, others may set their own schedule. For example, in the USA, the Verizon variant of the K4 was upgraded to Marshmallow in November 2016. But in Canada, the Fido variant is (so far) stuck on Lollipop.

  • just bought this phone only 100$ CAD was affordable does the job talks texts plays games and it holds a charge anyone who seriously takes the time to complain about the screen res its a cellphone aka small screen what do you expect 1920X1080? 4K!!!??? like common if u purchased this phone mabey save up for a iPhone or Sony perhaps Samsung or perhaps not realizing this is a pay as you go phone your not going to get high luxury ....

  • Was just told by ee salesman it has a proximity sensor which keeps locking phone continually. This is a pain and prevented me making an important call as l had press 2 and 2 etc during the call to an answering machine IT KEPT LOCKING AS I TRIED TO DO SO EVERY TWO SECONDS OR SO. THE EE SHOP TOLD THIS IS THE SENSOR AND IT CANNOT BE SWITCHED OFF.

  • Unfortunately, there are no more paper manuals. The manual will be online. Type in "LGK4 Manual" into the Google bar and it should bring it up.

  • Horrible display! It has a very low resolution and even worse is the light reflection output that gives you the feeling of looking to the "sun" when looking to the screen :S This just kills the experience with this smartphone. Anyone has an idea of a screen protector that compensates this?

  • K120E (Europe) version have proximity sensor or not?

  • I was going to buy this phone but I have choosen not to.due to the comments, I used to have the LG Leon and it was okish. People should try the Archos 55 platinum if you want a cheap phone but with great personality and very fast even on mobile data! You cant fault it. Hope this helps.

  • Not like teslas exist for 10 years.

  • Bad advice. Never charge full. And further, charge over night diesntvdo shit, this is not nimh battery, lithium batteries stop charging when theyre full. Kept my old blackberry Z10 between 40 and 80% since it was new, no noticeable degradation after so many years. Always plug in at 40%, thats the best one can do for a lithium battery. How can a Tesla car battery live more than 10 years? Its never at full charge and never empty, when it says empty its still 20% or more, and at full its not even 75%, they moved the 100% charge down sp the battery can last up to 20 years. Phones can do the sane by keeping ut between 40 and 60%.

  • On this phone can you force cellular data to be only LTE, so it will never use 2G, Edge or 3G/H+? Can anyone test it for me?

  • LG does not update cheap phones, youre always stuck with the Android generation it came with.

  • After vibrate hold the down button again

  • Mine (K120E) doesn't have a proximity sensor as it says above

  • Use your nails to separate the back cover from the case, and slide the nail over the border of the case to separate all the cover. It's easy if you do it slowly

  • before using the phone . . charge it over night . . it's essential for the battery health . no matter what others might say . . . believe me . if u need to have a goood battery stamina . just do it .

  • if you are an O2 customer you can dial 1760 & that will turn off your answering machine. Hope that is of some use.

  • Where is colour adjustment? This LG displaying too intense red colour and I dont have option to fix it.I dont recommend this phone.

  • No it won't LG released an official statement saying they don't update low end phones like this one. Motorola is a rarity that does update there phones

  • You can't just like on any mobile phone

  • Ive got an LG4 in the manual it says the card slot is accessed by taking the back off, there is supposed to be a cut out bit on the back to enable you to take the back of. I don't have the cut out on the back cover, how am I supposed to take the back off

  • I dunno whats up with your battery mine lasts 2 dayz which is wAY longer then my iphones

  • I was looking at the K4 yesterday. It's loaded with bloatware (you can't even delete). It only leaves you with a lousy 2GB of storage. I was shocked! All the bloatware you'll NEVER use, fills up the storage capacity. Buy this knowing exactly what you are getting.

  • I bought a LM K4 and the battery life is very poor I fully charged the phone and turned off wifi and Bluetooth etc nothing running and I never phoned with it or received any calls and the battery run out in 36 hours so I would hate to know how long it would last if I was using it all the time. I went back to the EE shop where I bought it and they sent it away to get checked it came back and they said it been fitted with a new battery but it is just the same I really don't thing they done anything with my phone at all I just wished I had marked the battery to see if a new one had been fitted. Wished I had never bought it. Rubbish

  • False, i just bought an Alcatel Pixi 4 5" phone and the box contains both, quick setup guide and a full user manual and the phone costed me just 65€ and runs very smoothly and is capable taking to account it´s a low end device. I´v been a long time LG customer but with their current strategy and crappy offerings i moved to other brands. My latest LG L70 run perfectly for almost 2 years until water killed it, it was a great phone with decent battery life and zero problems... I which they would have continued making decent devices.....

  • Does it support OTG ? . I'd like to connect my flash drive to the phone .

  • Phones don't come with paper instructions anymore from any company, there is a link in one of the booklets it comes with to look up instructions on the Internet.

  • Take it easy on the Canadians...how can one loose.Really its a smartish so so phone for slightly over 100 bucks.

  • my wife just got lg k4 she is 76 yrs old cant use it no instructions

  • Its good 😊

  • Yes k4 is probably getting marshmallow the poopy moto e is getting it

  • Yes. It has front camera, google play service needs to be on to stop "Enable google play" pop up. Lg K4 owner

  • 8Gb Internal. Sd slot supports 32 gb.

  • Yes you can. Some apps in themselves simply won't let you like bbm. Storage on this phone is reasonable. It handles skype, bbm, instagram, opera, and others perfectly ok without an sd card.

  • Set notifications to no interruptions.

  • How can I switch off the answering machine because it goes into annwer machine after 5 rings? Please help

  • In Argentina. Version K120 DONT,T have proximity sensor

  • Whorse cell ever plus I both this they toll me I got 32Gb device storage not even true I can put 32Gb micro sd

  • This phone is decent, play pokemon go smoothly probably the best phone for battery saving.

  • not all cheap phones though.. Chinese phones such as xiaomi have gyro even on their cheapest products

  • Does lg k4 get an update to marshmallow?

  • yep that's the difference between cheap and expensive phones...the sensors normally useless but pokego does need them for AR

  • I bought the k4 as a replacement of the S3 it performed about 10-20% worse and does not do the AR because the lack of gyro and other features that are lacking.

  • Canadians as usual get shitty 32 bit version. Why!?

  • well, it doesn't have gyro, so you aren't going to see the RA

  • does anyone knows if you can play pokemon go smothly in this phone. No lag, and if you can activate AR and watch the pokemon?

  • Whell batterie empty after 2 jours did that sincères brand new?

  • hello may i know if you can move apps downloaded from google play to your micro sd card with this phone? coz with my lenovo phone the apps just remain in the internal memory of the phone there was no way of moving it to the micro sd card

  • hi, were you able to move your apps downloaded from google play to your micro sd card with this phone? Did your apps work when transferred to the micro sd card?

  • Could you please send information about the call quality and wifi connection? Thank you!

  • Does anyone know how to put LG K4 in a silent mode (vithout vibrating), e.g. ho to mute it???

  • Upgrade?? Lol, that is a joke, you can't compare high end to low end. Make a Marshmallow ROM on your HTC and it will work like first day and of course way better than this cheap crap.

  • on off switch on three concurrent phones all failed within 2 weeks. Phone has major defect. What good is a phone that won't turn on? and Verizon won't warranty.

  • How much memori internal avalaibe this phone????

  • I have bought this phone and it really is a great phone

  • I got this phone from EE as a supposed upgrade it is not a par on htc1s very dissapointed going back to EE tomorrow and give it back

  • Is this K4 adopt 2.5D arc glass like K10?

  • The Weight of LG K4 is not 120 gram. Weight is 131.6 gram.

  • My K4 won't restart/off automatically, it stucked on LG only, it does work again when I switch off my battery. I didn't know why

  • for LG K4 (K120E) is micro sim card

  • Is the correct sim card size listed above? An LG manual says it is a nano-sim.

  • Just go to settings>accessiblty. And look for "Power key end call" and check it or enable it. Please explore the settings of y0ur phone

  • Any information about android 6.0 update?

  • Cute, stylish little handset... Too bad fpr the specs... I would pay 250euro for the same thing with same resolution, 2200mah+ battery, sd415 or newer, 13mp camera

  • Yes, ofcaurse

  • K4 better than another smartphone in same price range. Im work on phone store.

  • I don't know what all the complaining is about. I love this phone! For $120 CAD it does everything it needs to do. The camera is Ok, but I don't buy a phone for the picture quality. It makes calls, texts, surfs the web, emails, lots of apps available. I dropped it and it didn't break. I can back everything up on my micro SD. Honestly what do you want in a phone? If you use you phone as your office, sure spend the money and get a Samsung S7 or an i phone 6. But for a basic smartphone this one great!

  • is it possible to skype with this phone?

  • very decent handset, found it had all the features i needed, not the fastest processor but at this price point awesome, also could use a better cam.

  • I honestly don't see what all the hate is about, I love this phone! But first of all, I'm coming from a TERRIBLE phone (a Huawei Boulder u8350) and upgrading to this K4. Compared to that Huawei phone, this K4 is amazing. Second, I'm not looking for much in a phone...I need one that can make calls and text mostly. Sure, it's nice to be able to use some apps and browse the web (ex. basic browsing, Whatsapp, Snapchat, etc.) which it can do fine. But more than this, I can't say, for I don't use it for much else. So if you're like me and just need a phone that can do it's basic job and maybe use some apps, then this device is perfect for you. It hasn't let me down yet and it does what I need it to do. I don't need a camera, I don't need virtual reality, I just need a phone that allows me to communicate with others and this device can do that. I think some people expect too much these days...if you want a hi-fi phone, then buy one of those $1000 ones...Otherwise, what do you expect from a $149 phone, really? For the price, it does what it's supposed to.

  • Its terrible in my opinion its slow and has basically no storage drives me nuts! 😡

  • It does not have a proximity sensor. How can you have a phone without proximity sensor in 2016? I'm still searching for a call screen app which doesn't lock my screen after 5 seconds so I can hang up with only a button press, which SHOULD be the norm. Yes, you have to unlock it, then swipe to hang up. If you want to put it on loudspeaker, you have to unlock it twice. It seems like their engineers were trying to make it hard to use.

  • Display too angle dependent, slow processor. Can buy older better spec phones for around same price.

  • but then again its really cheap. this phone is only for those people who actually uses their phone just for texting and calling.

  • k4 only has 8 gb hardware. and 1 gb of ram which sucks

  • I'm not to tech savy but the k4 is extremely easy even for me love it

  • Ajust the spec... Thats not a micro sim but a nano sim!

  • bought this unit yesterday, so far so good, let see what will happen next ... keep posted regarding this matter :D

  • Availble at any ELectroworld or abenson nationwide

  • i'd rathen buy huawei y6 than this.. whick offer more ram. and higher ppi.. 5inch ips.. 8mp rear cam.

  • K10 is already here in the phl at 8990php. 16gb-2gb variant. When will the k4 follow...?

  • Thats with bigger size.. what cant they have extra RAM in 4.5" size?. Take MOTO G 2013 edition, that has extra pixels than LG's 2016 version.

  • Ill get it, if its under 4k php..

  • u have the option with k7 and k 10

  • How much does it cost to have 8-13MP camera and 2GB RAM for this phone?

  • Guys, when it will be available in the market? Is the screen TFT or IPS?

  • As much as i love lg for its build quality it seems that they rather sell old parts instead of being innovative :/

  • Very nice

  • Beautiful lg small mobile
