LG L20 - User Reviews

  • Hei best friends, i happened to use this lg l20 just after one month

  • Just bought this at the end of 2018. Still brand new device but the battery is not that great, i think it has been degraded since it is a 4 years old stock. I use this phone just for calling and texting, texting is a pain, my hand isnt that big, everytime i need to rotate to landscape mode for texting. The only issue i have is when the phone is in the pocket, it will randomly calling or sometime texting somebody when i used swipe or knock lock screen. As for pin lockscreen the keypad is way too small, this apply to pattern lockscreen also. Why didnt LG make the keypad and lock pattern full screen. I dont really care about the camera since i wont used it. The capacitive key is not really responsive also, it as a long latency. As for the price which is just 300k rupiah, i cannot complain much.

  • Love this phone. Got it about 2 years ago for around 25 USD. Still using it for voice calling. (I have another Asus phone for data stuff like Whatsapp, etc). It always attracts people with remarks like how cute and small this phone is. 😁 You can drop this phone and the cover and battery spill out. Put it back and it still works. The only thing to watch out for is the storage, only 1.5 GB. My unit is actually from South America, so lots of telco apps. I have to remove them as they were taking almost all the space. It is even more apparent now as official apps are also getting bigger and bigger. I have no choice but to root the phone, remove all the bloatware (Google ones too), then unroot them. First I remove all the apps except: 1. Alarm Clock, Calendar, Camera, Contacts, FM Radio (sometimes I listen to them), Messaging, Phone, Play Store and Videos. 2. Then I reinstall Chrome, File Manager+ (It can also play music), Lithium (yes, I can read epub ebooks), Map.me (instead of Google Maps). *No Youtube or Google Search (That can be handled using Chrome browser). This exercise meant that I use only 760 meg out of the 1.5 gb storage space (50%). I find that when the storage hits 1 gb, the phone will slow down. I figured with this setup (and removal of unnecessary apps), I can probably still use it for another 2 years .... at least.

  • Hi, everyone. I just bought this product in August 2018 for only about $25 (yes 25 us dollar). I found this LG L20 as a totally brand new old stock from an online shop. I remember this phone launched for the first time in 2014 for about $65. I'm now using it as my secondary smartphone. The battery performance is awesome, the phone is small, simple and easy to insert into my pocket. I often used this as a hotspot for my laptop..regard (I'm from Borobudur, Magelang Indonesia)

  • This phone is really good. This has not run out once after 3 years! Recommend this phone, this is a very good deal, got mine for 0.80 and I can say this was worth every penny. All 80 pennies were worth!

  • Had mine just over 2 years now and the battery is excellent.. After its fully charged i unplug it and go into settings, then to where it says battery and it still shows 1100 hours standby.. I get about 3.5 to 4 days between chargers with average use like listening to music a couple off hours a day, occasional internet usage and calls and texts.. Hope this helps.

  • How long the battery will last is not an issue with this phone as the battery is replaceable with another. If the battery goes dead you simply snap the back off and put in a fresh fully charged battery. This one feature is what makes the phone so attractive as you never have to recharge your phone as long as you have charged batteries to use as replacements.

  • How long does the battery last approximately?

  • Bluetooth stopped working. Won't pair or won't stay connected. I bought it to live track my runs off Bluetooth connected gps triathlon watch so no Bluetooth makes it an epic waste of money

  • Buying one today for Au$59. Awesome phone

  • The best mobile phone i ever had. Tiny, its'got evrything you need. Perfect if you are looking for a phone and not a pocket computer....

  • doesn't had ear proximity??

  • It looks so small how can it fit in it hands!!!

  • because it doesnt have the sensor to register tilts

  • I cant tilt when playing temple run...why please help me

  • Yes

  • micro sim?

  • why i cannot play video in dailymotion and other format.can u teach me how it works.thx

  • i found the LG L1 II e410 to be smaller.

  • is this the smallest android phone available?

  • just some last thing to add to my review that i've just found out over the weekend, the lg l20 plays videos in divx/avi format. i was using the phone as a flash drive to copy some films from one computer to another and when i had done i just tried playing them on the phone and they do. no more having to convert films to mp4, just drag and drop, great.

  • LG L20 is a smart option for those who are new to Android. It's cute design helps me to handle it easily and carry it in my pocket. It's a cheap and handy phone with enough features to use internet. Thank you LG...I belive in your technology...

  • its a great little phone. got it as a upgrade from my samsung galaxy ace and was a bit nervous about getting it after reading some really bad reviews. glad to say they were all wrong. music player and fm radio are better than some mp3 players i've had, screen is very responsive and not as pixelated as some make it out to be, internet surfing is good on both wifi and 3g (even plays youtube vids on 3g without any problems, battey life is good (i've had it a week and use it lots to listen to the radio and surf the web and only charged it once), but the most siprising thing is the camera, i've took lots of photos with it and compared them to photos i've taken with my 5mp galay ace and they are just as good, i'd go as far as saying the colours are slightly better too. plus out of the 4gb in built storage you get 1.6gb which is enough to store all the popular apps with plenty of room to spare.

  • LG is an excellent phone .. I like all its feature .

  • very good phone lg phones are wonderfull

  • great phone can run many games like brother in arme 3 gta 3 dead trigger asphalt 6 asphalt 7 asphalt 8 hi get a result in NenaMark2 58 fps/s better than galaxy s2 but the only problem in this phone is storage is low ***sory for my bad english******

  • You can also rotate it to horizontal in the status bar.

  • AMAZING little phone - very fast enough space for me. It's been in the same pocket as my keys and I must say it's very scratch proof. The glass that protects the screen is very strong, it fell face first onto out concrete pavement and not a scratch! And it's only £29.99 on EE!

  • Btw anyone wishing to buy this phone i bought it for a whopping £1.99 a month with no upfront cost from e2 save mobiles. This phone gets the job done

  • the worse phone I,ve had very unresponsive when u try hang up thescreen keeps going blank before u finish typing.had it back to store 4 times and they cant work it 1 out of 10

  • very nice little phone it does what i want it to do , storage space is very good , got a 36 mb sd card , downloaded music to my mp3 on phone very pleased with quality sound of music, but yeah im very happy with my phone , had a samsung galaxy ace before my lg l20, which kept freezin and crashing only had it few weeks rubbish phone , got rid and got my lg l20 excellent little phone

  • Quite simply this is a terrible phone. Lag, crap screen, childish design, no memory whatsoever are just the tip of the iceberg. Just avoid unless this is for a 7 year old. The most frustrating thing is this phone comes with a TONNE of crapware... such as Gameloft games and LG bloatware that you will never use... it has 2gb of memory yet you will only have 300mb for your own files and once it gets down to 150, it will seriously, seriously slow down your phone even further. Considering this is slower than phones I have had at similar price points 3-4 years ago... it makes it not even worth anything as a phone, which should surely be it's primary function. This is a toy/joke phone.

  • 2x Micro-sim. Very frustrating to see SIM : Yes

  • had one before and is very good have the hot spot that is way i like it and is very small and cute,/.,/.,

  • A first class little phone very pleased wth it

  • How do l disable other credit consuming auto updates. l really cant have air time in my phone. please help.

  • I was recently given a LG L20 in a present and as this is my first smartphone, I am really pleased with it. It is compact in size and does all that I want it to to - phone, text and make calls. I don't use text function a lot however, as I don't have another smartphone to compare it against, it comes out tops over my previous mobile.

  • Everything is good except the screen, it has a really bad display.

  • It comes loaded with kitkat 4.4

  • The specs on this mobile are great it takes a micro SD as does the note 2.

  • It is compatible with kit kat

  • Hi Buddy. is that phone support microSD? I wanna to buy it quickly. reply please..

  • All buyers be aware - SIM size is MICRO-SIM and not Mini-SIM. This is not stated in the SIM specifications.

  • Iphone killer this phone be :)

  • Bloody awful phone, the display is so pixelated, texting is a joke, camera is a joke I recycled mine after a week of using one to avoid.

  • Here is the link to LG site with all phones SAR's:

  • This will surely spell the end of the feature phone to a large extent and will certainly make people think twice about buying a dedicated MP3 player when they can have the MP3 functionality in addition to smartphone capabilities in such an affordable package.

  • No accelerometer which makes texting very iffy as the screen response is erratic. A good basic smartphone but texting will be a pain due to the small keyboard in portrait only format.

  • Does anyone know the SAR levels for this phone please?

  • I bought an Lg L20 and it has installed android 4.1.2.. I tried to update to android 4.4.2. but the answer was that the phone is using the latest version which is 4.1.2.. It is compatible with kit kat or not?

  • Looks like a very pretty and compact android phone, beautifully crafted, LG has some great and most unique designs

  • Just the thing I'm talking about!!! :-)

  • somehow this one reminds me of nokia x series

  • lifes good still love my optimus g
