LG Q7 - User Reviews

  • The phone has received the android 9 update from t-mobile

  • This phone is ok.. The only downside is that the emoji keyboard is super messy unlike on other phones let's say you could find food items in nature section or other stuff on food side not to mention i am able to see other emojis that this keyboard is missing such as other flags and on other phone flags have their own section too. So for the next system update PLEASE change the emoji keyboard so it's just like in let's say apple products and that it would include all the emojis not just some.

  • How to cast my lg q7 with my smart Tv marq, please help me out...

  • Maybe check the channel settings for the Wi-Fi (modem)?

  • Can you access ok google from locked screen?

  • I absolutely love my Q7+. Dropped it in water and it never missed a beat. It's fast, clean and easy to manage. The battery life is amazing. I often go up to 24 hours without a recharge and when I charge, it's fast. Of all the phones I've had this is by far my favorite. The picture quality it outstanding as well.

  • I moved from Xiaomi Redmi 4X to LG Q7+, because it died in the rain. The hardware is one of a kind with: - reasonable size, - IP68 water resistance, and - 3.5 jack. - quality sound chip, The pros: - Menus on the applications to choose widgets, shortcuts and go to settings, - Screen brightness adjustment just works right, The cons (moving from Xiaomi) - clock timer had presets and a quick setting with one wheel movement, - silent mode had a timer, - the task changer was horizontal and easier to operate, - task killer could kill the all but the foreground task, - one-handed mode worked (my European version of Q7+ doesn't have it) - notifications weren't needlessly complicated, - notification icons were normal app icons, not some smallish monochrome versions, - I could go to notification settings from notification drawer by click and hold, - I could go from task changer to app settings by click and hold, - I had a big clock with weather in my drawer, - I had flashlight access from the lock screen by default, - I had consistent dark theming instead of white notifications, - Alarm sounds were much better in Xiaomi, - Fingerprint reader worked better, - And most of those are unfixable even with paid themes. If only Xiaomi had a small waterresistant phone, I would jump at it...

  • I have gone today with over 24 hours since my last charge and 7 1/2 hours of screen on time. Video calls, navigating, YouTube, heavy use. I get amazing battery life. I use a package disabler app and disable a lot of things that I don't use. No root needed. I don't use any social media apps. They tend to run in the background always and kill battery. You can get great battery life with this phone if you really want it.

  • I wish I could post a photo. I took a screenshot today with over 24 hours since my last charge and 7 1/2 hours of screen on time. Video calls, navigating, YouTube, heavy use. I get amazing battery life. I use a package disabler app and disable a lot of things that I don't use. No root needed. But even without, I find it hard to believe people only get 4 hours SOT.

  • I can connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi just fine on Q7 plus

  • I bought this phone, convinced it had 5Ghz Wifi - now I discover it hasn't... Am I right?

  • Snapdragon 450 is a 14nm chip...

  • Close background applications and reduce the screen brightness.Nothing to worry.

  • The phone cannot be water proof and be able to take out battery at the same time, yet we are lucky they took a Li-Po vs Li-ion since Po has better life time than ion... Wish they had a 4000mAh tough that would make the cost go probably way up!

  • Indeed same issue with my honor 6C Pro these MT6750 chips are very power hungry, you need a 4000mAh minimum tough its Android 8 vs 7, its water proof and has a better jack than my honor so I am gonna call it a good phone! :D

  • If the battery is non-removable it should have 3500-4000mAh minimum, if its removable go ahead stick in a 2500-3000mAh! This phone has a very power hungry chip made in 28nm node which is a bad combination with this battery... (owner of a honor 6C Pro also know as the honor V9 Play, I know the feeling of charging all the time...)

  • Having quite similar about 4hours of screen on time, expected more. Hopely someone have ideas of getting more, though just ok and gret sized phone for me

  • Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery WHY ON EARTH make a phone with a battery you cant remove????! What do we do if the battery is defective or wont hold a charge?

  • Go to settings/security and turn it off

  • I bought this phone for my gf, its mostly enough for her in every aspects, except the battery, it discharges quite fast. she can get around 4 hours of screen on time - whuich is very bad in my opinion. I was expecting over 5 hours from a 3000mAh battery . I'd like to know about other q7 plus users howmuch screen on time they have. Thanks :)

  • Please understand bro..nexus is a flagship phone.even its older than this one.this is midrange phone.

  • I like this phone, here north price is now 199e which is just ok price for this. Waterproof, on basic use very smooth, very compatible size, camera pretty good specialky outside, battery average, actually no complains after Samsung S7

  • i had a Nexus 5x before, which is a Google phone but also produce by LG, and even thou the spec seems to be better, its worse in EVERY WAY! as new, its less fast than a 3yr phone(my deceased Nexus), the touch is not as good as the Nexus, the finger print in the back is so small and not comfortable as the Nexus. even the camera which suppose to be better is not as good. to sum up, its less in every way to a phone which was produce mroe than 4 years before it.

  • It has MT6750s here in Europe

  • i think they make screen in to frame so replaicing is not easy. mybe this year a6

  • What about samsung or xiaomi....think hard

  • The q7a is NOT waterproof. Learned this the hard way. You are welcome.

  • Is this available in SEA? I cannot find one in Manila.

  • I was just in Metro...seems like a good value for the dollar.

  • Bought the q7a for 150 usd. Great small for the price. Probably the best compact phone you can get for the price.

  • Does LG Q7 quad dac audio performance and sound quality are merely the same vs v20, v30 or G6 or the more expensive models have better audio quality. I never used lg phone and I'm interested to buy lg model but only for the quad dac, the other segments (camera, battery etc) don't bother me, and don't want to spend extra money on flagship, so what is you experience?

  • I own the LG Q7+ and would like to say I am happy with it. There are definitely better options out there, but it is quite competitive, especially with recent price drops at Metro. (99$ if you port to Metro from another carrier). The display is vivid (FHD+ fullvision) at 18:9, 2160x1080, 4gb ram, 64gb internal storage, sporting a Snapdragon 450. For Metro, this is the perfect "mid-tier" phone, which gives a good middle option for those who need more power than a J7 Star, Stylo 4 or Moto e5+, at a price well below flagship phones (*cough* Samsung *cough*). The phone also supports DTS:X surround sound via headphone jack or bluetooth, which was quite noticeable. (I was using a cheap 5$ stereo earbud set from Five Below and they sounded like a 50$ pair) I have little info on the regular Q7, but I believe the Q7+ is a decent option for customers in the USA.

  • I had the GYM Play. It sucked hardcore! Ridiculously laggy and slow. The QUESTION+ blows the G6 Play out of the water easy.

  • whats wrong with it?

  • Lg should forget about making Mobil phones and stick with what they know, that is tvs and kitchen appliances

  • Compared 3 years before in this price it has full hd, 3gb, 32gb ip68, dts, otg, metal frame, For 185 euro in internet shop. But my old phones are broken, teared down worthles phones i can not get this one. I will be ok living whitout phone and all this data colection.

  • How do you disable the finger print scanner.

  • Shame on gsmarena for not doing a review of Q7+. In the U.S. this phone is heavily promoted by T-Mobile & Metro. Owner reviews are all over the map. It deserves a full review here! Shame on LG for not releasing an unlocked version! The carriers are overcharging for it and tying any discount to expensive service plans. If you expect to get an unlock code from these carriers, rest assured they will make you pay one way or the other.

  • If you can even find it then yes it's between 200-300 euro. BUT keep in mind that in Europe they only sell the mediatek version which is vastly inferior to the snapdragon one. That's a really bad phone. The Snapdragon version is the US version and could be worth the purchase, that's the LG Q7+, which I can't even find to import.

  • It sells for between 200-300 euro in Europe, at least in my country. For that money you get a pretty nice phone with IP rating and fingerprint sensor, good display and a rather premium look and feel.

  • 150$ in Morocco

  • 470 euros ?? Could you tell me the real price

  • It has a snapdragon not media tech but to be honest the Moto g6 play. Is better and faster that's sad fr lg sucks u get lag and it reboot it's self and freezes up and snapdragons are best it's something with lg system UI the Moto never lagged with a quad core chip and u can't use sd card for internal storage on lg Moto gives u 150 gb of storage for apps and games with sd card it's useless In lg fr all fake reviews I use phone straight for gameing and with 4 GB ram I should not see lag like fr lg

  • Very true

  • It's a very nice set but a little more dear than the Chinese sets like Redmi and Oppo

  • For the money, I've been impressed with this phone. It looks good, feels good, and has the high-quality audio built-in. the average user doesn't need, or recognize, the faster processor speeds in more expensive models... Personally, I find it odd that a gamer would even play on a phone.

  • but better than any chinese mobile

  • To clarify the incorrect data, updates are not from phone manufacturers. Updates are pushed out through your service provider usually. My LG g5 froma 2 years ago has android oreo, and it was less of a flagship than the v20

  • what a pity there is no flagship smartphone from LG with this size and weight.

  • LG mobile phones are of low quality and durability. In India most of them do not use the crap LG. Mind it.

  • Hi everyone, I am using LG V20 for 18months, warranty is expired still waiting for Oreo Updates. LG is least bothered for the existing customers who have purchased their product, Please don't Buy LG devices or you will become one of us "idiots for purchasing LG product".

  • Q7+ has SD 450 the other 2 q7a and Q7 just have mediatek soc

  • Yes and SD 450 is the better Chipset.

  • I have used the speaker numerous times and haven't ever had any feedback problems or anything of the like.

  • All Q7 variants have a plastic back and it does scratch kind of easily, so get a case asap.

  • The SD 450 variant does offer 5ghz Wi-Fi

  • Yes it does.

  • That's just the base model, but if you compare the budget flagship Q7+ then it's a different ballgame, Q7 plus has SD 450 and blows away J7

  • Well the Q7+ SD 450 version available in the US is equipped with 5ghz wifi, so the mediatek models seem to have draw the short end of the stick. But last year with the Q6 it was the opposite.

  • GSMArena guys! Review this device -SD450 version-, pls!

  • Cute phone and nice but the sound needs to be alot louder and the camera isnt great

  • Well ur phone Isn waterproof Has no modern aspect ratio And you know that lg uses their own display for their phones and its using sd 450 which is way better than j7 pro. (Could u stop being toxic). Phones have pros and cons so whats the point if u said ur phone is the best among others when it has cons. No phone is perfect k...

  • Please review the Q7+ variant. Very interested in seeing the audio quality, SNR and separation. Thanks,

  • lovely compact size.

  • Just adding: It has Panda King reinforced glass according to the official lg website.

  • Dear GSMArena, Kindly review this device... Thanks anonymously : )

  • Hello. Please review the LG Q7. Thx.

  • AWESOME phone for $200 and under!! Nice display, OK processor, OK cameras, Good storage, GREAT features, NICE plastic back...DROP IT ALL YOU WANT (tired of the glass, it is a business scam...makes the phone heavier, AND when you drop a glass phone you have to buy another)! LOVE the size, great for one handed use, Great fast charging, AWESOME sound with the Quad Dac, Fingerprint sensor is decent, Face unlock is good too, IP68 rated, 64GB storage, GREAT battery, AND micro SD support!!! PEOPLE please, it is a mid range phone that offers MORE than hat a lot of the suppose FLAGSHIPS... WISH the cameras were a bit faster, in still shots fairly close, they are both pretty darn good!

  • I cannot believe no one mentioned one MAJOR flaw: lack of 802.11a standard - no wifi 5GHz support! how it is possible that phone in 2018 doesn't have 5ghz support. Chipset Mediatek MT6750S does support it.. Some websites, reviews are reporting support of it, even that is remarkable - reporting wrong informations. My phone is prety slow, especially leaving in flat with 10neighbors sharing same 2.4GHz band... This is like having a car that is missing rear doors or somethink unexpected.

  • Has it aluminum frame and back cover?! Or plastic? There is nothing in the specs what kind of body.... stuff like Note9 or similar premium mobiles there are "Build - aluminum frame (7000 series), front/back glass (Gorilla Glass 5)", etc.

  • > No sAMOLED display > Worst class mediatek chipset Waste Q7. Samsung J7 pro rocks.

  • Does it have Notification LED?

  • In the US we got the q6, with 3gb ram, 32gb space, and octacore at 1.4ghz. Now we have the q7+. So it depends if you're comparing q7 or q7+. q7+ has 4gb ram, 64gb space, octacore at 1.8ghz, and quad dac. Also ip68 on all q7s. It's not a huge upgrade on q6 but it is better in most respects except screen.

  • Has band 71 (600 mhz) to use with T-Mobiles new extended range coverage. Loud speaker is on bottom of phone near the microphone that you talk into. I found this a little strange. I am wodering if you are using speaker phone if it causes any sort of interference having the input and output speakers so close together. I'd think it would be better if the loud speaker was on the hearing speaker.

  • In Belgium, the price is 349€ (Media Markt, official LG price).

  • Q7 vanilla variant arrived in Aus recently. asking price is $390 USD. just about fell out of my chair because when they released the Q6 for $290 USD, it hardly had any traction and price was dropped to $220 USD pretty quickly. I don't think mobile manufacturers are quite in sync with the market downunder.

  • Panda glass

  • Snapdragon for South Korea & USA MediaTek for the rest

  • so does the q7+ have SD450 or mediatek?

  • Very disappointed. It goes very hot very quickly, and when it happens cpu will be limited as well as other operations (such as download or updates). Card slot is for nothing as many of the space hungry apps (e.g. Spotify, Netflix) cannot be stored on it (card is only for photos, videos and files). Sound quality is just awful, simply, either through the speaker or through wired or wireless headphones. Last but not least, the phone does not have a quality feel, it is light and sounds plastic (back panel seems plain plastic). I missed my Honor 6 almost immediately, that’s why I just took it back today...

  • Gorilla Glass?

  • I agree, anytime I see a MT Processor I usually avoid selling any of that product. Around 4/5 of the Media Tek Powered devices I've sold in the past came back to me.

  • I think this phone is a little bit laggy because of the processor: Octa-core (4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) But If they change the processor to Octa-core 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex A53) this phone will be the game changer. But still to much expensive for its price..

  • Other than the fingerprint scanner, Android Oreo 8.1, slight camera improvements & DTX sound, This is just a LG Q6 (which WILL get getting Oreo 8.1 any day now). If you don't care about the other improvements, Just the get the cheaper Q6.

  • First review ist out (on french Tom's hardware guide). It's pretty devastating. Mediatek processor sucks, mediocre camera, poor battery performance. On top of that a locked bootloader, so no way of other OS and faster updates. This phone is dead...

  • Mediatek MT6750S & no Gorilla Glass. Thx, LG! :((

  • LG Q7+ is the world's best compact, notch free android phone having 3.5 mm headphone jack, quad dac and ip68 certification, in my opinion.

  • When is the review coming gsmarena?

  • Gorilla Glass 5?

  • This is weird, as mine is pretty good. I tested it along the G7 and while the G7 is indeed better, more bass, the speaker from teh Q7+ sounded pretty good too!?

  • I have LG G5 and I'm happy with this phone I looking for n cheaper LG on contract I South-Africa and the G6 is not cheaper here than the q7 at all cant just buy the phone even if I would like to.wont get Samsung it's simply no need to get one used a couple of them and its good for a plane person that don't like fun extra functions.keep in mind I'm in SA and don't have all the phones in your country.Lg,Samsung,Sony,Huawei is what I can go for I'm looking for a downgrade from g5 to q7, not an upgrade. would i be unhappy getting this phone is it slow is the screen quality crap?.camera is not a big deal but does it takes ok photos i'm use to my g5 camera how far is it from the standard camera

  • The processor is indeed quite weak, but if you want a small phone, this is the only other option than the Xz2 Compact. The design is great and the besides WLAN AC missing the rest of the specs are pretty good at least for the Q7+ model.

  • Please beware that the bottom firing external speaker is extremely bad. I am not sure if this is due to the built in waterproofing, dust proofing and mil spec. I bought the LG Q7+, used it in my bathroom and decided that I had to sell it off after 2 hours. My existing Samsung J1 Mini Prime which cost me 60 EUR has an external speaker that is light years ahead in performance.

  • Lol I made a mistake, it's actually 460€ which means about 540$, take a look at the bottom of the specifications page

  • price 460?!?!?!?! you can pick up G6 now for this amount so where is the point of this device....at all!

  • where 460 $ . in my contry 4gb model cost 299 eur

  • With a 28nm weak SoC owerpriced. Thx, LG! :/

  • Seriously LG, 460$ for this!!! I'd rather buy the better and cheaper A8 2018 from Samsung or the LG G6 which is even cheaper than the A8

  • What about these? - None of them has a dedicated card slot; Mi6 none at all. - Nokia 7 is more than 70mm wide - Mi 6 more than 145mm tall - XA2 is closest, but with just 32GB internal storage and only a hybrid SIM/SD slot... no use with dualSIM usage.

  • xa2. nokia 7, mi 6

  • So an upgrade but with a still crappy camera? No thanks

  • Does dual speaker supported?

  • Gorilla Glass?

  • Nice features and a reasonable price of about Rs 15k in India

  • dont forget the price lol

  • So you are comparing the battery capacity of two 160x76mm devices with 6" screens and 180g weight to a 140x70mm device with 5.5" screen and 140g? Seriously? Why don't you complain about Sony's XZ2 Compact only having 2870mAh? It's a matter available space. Try finding any device that is less than 70mm wide and less than 145mm tall, has Dual SIM, a dedicated card slot, more than 3000mAh and better specs. Good luck!

  • A (2018) version of the LG Q8 would be nice. This is ok but nothing exciting. The Q8 has the ultrawide camera lens and IR blaster, things that i find useful. Most phones today have the same basic stuff just in a different case, hoping no one will notice its under powered or lack of memory. ok a budget phone is excatly that but to add a neat little thing like an ir blaster just makes it stand out and worthy of a purchase over the basic of basic. rant over.

  • Did I say anything about the price? Read again...

  • in my country lg q6 still at $249 (no fingerprint, mindblow sd435, only 3000mah battery) many people who buy the phone returned them and say that device not worth money. compare you can get asus zenfone max pro (5000mah, sd636, fast charging) or xiaomi redmi note 5 (4000mah, sd636, fast charging) and both of them price at $150

  • I think overpricing is any day better than dramatic and consistent price cuts. When a company drops device price by 50-60% is doesn't send a very good message in the loyal early buyers. Imagine buying a phone for 600$ and after 2 months it is for 300$ . I am sure everyone who bought it for launch price will feel cheated .

  • Ok this is just q7 i mean look at the q stylo 4 its food too lg is not bad as u think.+ they orobably going to cut the price to less than half now like q6 and g6 you can buy an unlocked q6 in less than 100$ and g6 like 300+$ and please dont blame at lg overpricing their phones.

  • I cannot believe this, g5, v10, v20 are garbages with their awesome image retention issues some of them suffers from bootloop and its making the users nuts and now another garbage using mediatek and 3000mah battery lol

  • was expecting sd630 atleast for da price..🤔

  • yep yep yep... I'd rather buy G6 which base version currently going for less money!!! where is a sense in that?!?!?!

  • Wow, a Motorola G6 competitor with twice the price tag. No thanks!

  • True. Features get you to buy an average performance phone. But for that formula to work, price has to be a non-repellant, if not attractive. People suggested a $350 would be good price, but in the current landscape, $350 is above and beyond what a phone with entry level hardware should cost. Yet, because of features, as you said, they feel $350 is OK. That's the winning formula IMHO.

  • So LG Stylo 4 is now available in the US, similar specs (less RAM though) and packs in a stylus. Price? $179... Q7? With the built in pixie dust and Unicorn Leatherback, gotta be $500+

  • Well, russia looks like it's getting Q7 (LMQ610NM) and Q7+ (LMQ610NA) according to lg.com/ru - both have 1.5GHz MT6750S. Feelsbadman.jpg

  • I agree that the price is a bit steep, the Q6 didn't launch with that price as far as I know. You can get the G6 for cheaper. I think they should have priced it 350, to get a real good Phone for the price. But the Q7 looks pretty good and they got some shortcomings of the Q6 fixed.

  • Q7 is not all about performance, but features.

  • Heck, even an old HTC M9 has WAY better performance that this piece of crap. And you can buy it at 99 dollars in China!

  • 460EUR. OMG LG new price innovation

  • In Korea, phones are more expensive than in other countries. After 2 months the price will be 50% cheaper

  • WTH this is way too expensive for mid range with that specs. BTW it should've been SD 450 for all versions.

  • Are they joking? why the f*** this s*** is cost to much? Better buy G6 instead, G6 still good phone though

  • The battery is still 3000?... c'mon LG

  • Haha! Called it! This honestly makes even iPhones seem reasonably priced. I pity the fools who will buy this overpriced junk. What's the point of this phone anyway? I mean, why would there be a need to protect such terrible hardware from water and dust? Should have used at least a Snapdragon 660 for that price and a better camera. Or they should have just not included the ingress protection and kept it at the same price as Q6 when it launched last year.

  • At least phone size is great! The rest not so much..

  • 460 EURO...it is a joke right....hahahahahaha

  • Rly LG 460eur :D omg this phone doesn't highend aka Oneplus or Mi8. LG Q7 with price 180eur and take me money!

  • In Korea, phones are more expensive than in other countries. After 2 months the price will be 50% cheaper

  • Seriously??? A Mediatek processor??? Eww!!! And its 2016 procie!

  • Here you go buddy... People who were excited for this almost perfect device , LG made them look like a fool with this absurd pricing. (Including myself)

  • I don't think they will list anywhere near that price. On the good news, it looks like they're finally adding ac wifi... image from press release at least:

  • Q7 - 495000 K.Won = 456$ , Q7+ - 570000 K.Won = 526$ . Nice Joke LG , Good Luck .

  • q6 has snapdragon 435 , q7 has snapdragon 450

  • Good LG that launch this. Compare to apple which only sell high end devices as soon it doesn't release with similar size mid-range phone which is called Iphone se (2018), 5inches in apple rumors.

  • they said that they would release it a few months from now after they release it in asia and europe

  • Does anyone have info on when this is shipping in the US? Apart from the initial announcement there is no info online of price or ship date ... even approximate.

  • It is the same as MT6750T, which is slightly clocked MT6750- GPU from 520MHz to 650MHz and RAM from 666MHz to 833MHz.

  • It has worse cpu than lg q6.. why does it even exist?

  • Love the design, size, weight, display (ppi), fp sensor on back, etc. Hate the chip. It just can't compete. Most assuredly should have been a newer SD 6xx series.

  • What is Mediatek MT6750 "S" !?

  • Q7 has 18:9 ratio and not 16:9

  • Let me guess- Q7+ is going to be $450. And maybe next year, the Q series will use SD630 for $500. Just like the Q6 in its time, I feel like the Q7 is going to be a missed opportunity for LG yet again.

  • I think LG are lying when it comes to dimensions. No way it's 5.5" with those bezels and be 143.8mm tall. Maybe the screen is smaller, like 5.4".

  • LG Q7 having good sound, good display, very good build quality with ip68 rating and compact size. But 1. processor ( mt) ?, 2. camera is average and 3. price - overpriced because processor and camera is not good enough.

  • LG pls increase battery capacity a bit....

  • The processor should be Snapdragon 450 and the phone should be fairly priced to stand against the competition of chinese brands and asus. The phone seems to be good enough. It should be available in Europe this month. Waiting for a review.

  • If the Q7 vanilla and alpha get Mediatek, how do they support Qualcomm quickcharge as per LG Newsroom?!

  • The LG Q7+ chipset will be most likely SD450. I cant think of any other 8 core 1.8GHz Cortex-A53 processor.

  • MediaTek MT6750S? Mind blown... Is it good?

  • Of course there are gorilla glass ,what kind of question is that

  • Do it comes with Gorilla Glass?

  • Yes, this is shaping up to be a good midrange phone. But I can't shake the feeling that the Q7+ will be overpriced at $380. I mean in its time, the regular Q6 was at least $75 more than what it should have been. So I'm not putting much hope on this for now.

  • I like this phone if the front panel is colourful like G6 Now all black phone look similar front the front. So boring!

  • Q6 had a respectable endurance when it is powered by SD435. 450 will do better with its more powerful GHz speed and efficiency. If these features also are true, then LG is going back on track. :)

  • it sounds good as water resistant, DTS:X surround sound, Fingerprint sensor, but i think they could have been made it much better with more battery power (atleast 3500 mAh) , more megapixel front camera (at least 13mp) with much more picture effects, a much better rear design, and last but not the least the chipset (atleast snapdragon 660 and higher)....I feels disappointing with upgrade over Q6 which I using right now.......

  • ya very right, looks same as Q6 from front,,,but the rear design is exactly same as redmi note 5....they could have been made much better design......its very acceptable when a company like redmi copies the LG or any other, but when LG copies redmi, it not sounds well as a international brand.......

  • but battery should be 5000mAh at least, body size OK (if bigger then would not buy) and if battery 5000, then definitely will buy...

  • It is confirmed Snapdragon 450 , Compact size check, Good Battery check, Wide angle front camera check, Usb C check, Treble Support check, IP 68 check, HiFi Quad DAC cherry on the Top... and in India currently G6 is available for 28,000 (about 410$) , I was so eagerly waiting for XZ1 Compact to launch in India but it never came. so if Q7Plus varient is being anything below 20,000 I will buy it in a heartbeat.

  • q7 is snap dragan 430 chipset &5.7 inches.ip 68 water and dudst resident 4gb 64gb 8.0

  • No man.. It looks similar to the q6 from the front.. No one copied the redmi.. Maybe the redmi copied the q6.. But actually no cuz its the trend.. So it's okay

  • May me this q7 model flop when relese because its uses mediatek soc,

  • may be lg have promised not to upgrade their battery mah

  • That's true. But if priced similarly, this will still be slightly a better value for money than Samsung Galaxy A6. That particular model set the bar for being an overpriced midrange phone. By the way, in my country, even the Galaxy A5 (2017) is still officially at $380 and this Q7 is also better than that. There's really not many choices for those wanting a midrange compact phone, especially with water and dust resistance and without a notch. Would be great if the 4/64 variant doesn't go over $300.

  • If only LG could listen and use an SD6xx here also add the floating bar n Qslide apps this could be the best deal

  • put 630 and reasonable price and i would buy it

  • IP rating and a fingerprint sensor, that was what the Q6 was missing. Now with the Q7 they fixed that, way to go LG, brilliant phone with hopefully a good price!

  • If this the one with the BTS extras? lol

  • bro even sd 450 would be bad

  • They aren't gonna hear us. It's SD450. 3000 mAh battery and it will be priced around 17000 for 4GB/64Gb variant

  • If this Q7 has SD625/626/630/636 processor then LG should morally exchange this with Q6 for half the price within a month of launch in respective markets....Q6 processor SD435 can't handle the screen and processing power and doesn't even last a full day of normal usage...browsing and messaging. Else, i might boycott LG in every product segment from now on. Yes, i have a Q6...in India.

  • only lg g5 se has a snapdragon 600 series phone

  • It's sd450.

  • perfect size

  • LG Q7+ has no 3.5mm jack but has Quad dac! What an irony!☹

  • put a SD636 + 3500Mah + RESONABLE PRICE after that everyone will say WOW & welcome back again LG

  • Totally. If it's at least SD 450, then perhaps there's hope for this in certain markets. But if it's actually Mediatek P10 as previously reported, then I don't know what LG is expecting.

  • Nice one LG!

  • I M using LG Q6 from last 6 months and i was really impressed with its design on the first look, but this tym i think LG is now loosing their self identity in terms of mobile design, before this, they launched G7 and was look like copied the notch design, and with this again look like they copied redmi note 5 design.......

  • Beautiful but the SoC is very poor.

  • I hate ugly all black front panel

  • And I forgot the bottom bezel is too plain they should put the LG logo there.

  • If only it has atleast 5.7" screen and a Snapdragon 636 (the 1.8Ghz version) I would buy it.

  • Wth is dis.. The start of a new era? My goodness.. Lg.. This is what ive been looking for ages
