1) Check your battery settings. If the power saving feature is turned on, it'll disable the wifi during standby 2) This is not an issue for me since I bought 64GB ROM version 3) This has an actual clickable power button, not capacitive ones. So the best way is to actually click the power button to unlock your phone. It's very fast and accurate. 4) You probably need to go to settings app or the security app to whitelist the apps which you want to keep in background 5) U can always set Gboard as the default keyboard. TouchPal is definitely a shitty keyboard. If it still causes trouble, go to file manager and delete the TouchPal folder 6) U serious? Battery life has been pretty good for me (7 hours + SOT). But the new Flyme 7 update has definitely degraded my battery a bit. Overall I only have good things to say about this phone. Not to mention the price has dropped to RM499 (US$120) for the 64GB + 4GB RAM version. I'll definitely recommend this one.

Coming from an HTC & Asus smartphone user, I can only say good things about meizu m6 note. I own the 3/32gb variant with flyme 7 global rom for about 1 month ±± now. For the money I paid (usd 135 in Indonesia), m6 note is definitely a good buy. Above average camera, fair battery life, smooth OS (definetly took time for me to get used to). The only problem is that no after sales in Indonesia, but I believe this phone will last me for a year or two. Most people will change their smartphone within 1 year anyway, and with this price tag I don't mind at all.

Very technical info bro. I don't even know how to check if a phone can support high speed SD card or not. But at this day and age, I would take micro SD card support as a benefit already, especially since it already has 64GB ROM. Plus, you are comparing it to Samsung Note 3, which was a high end flagship and considered to be one of the best Note phones.

I have nothing but problems. Global version doesn't work. Translations into Polish mixed with English, now it's only Chinese. No Polish dictionary. Maps, Google Aps, Google Store don't work, there are only icons. I bought it because of 64 memory to keep recordings for my students and 5.5 size as my eyesight os poor. It was supposed to be a great tool for my work as a teacher. It is an obstacle and a very annoying device. Photos are ok, but just ok. I do not recommend Meizu at all. Sorry.

Don't waste time on the M6 Note. Verdict after using for 7 months : Crap!. Why is the phone like crap? GPS takes forever to lock. Previously, a restart will help to get a lock. Its dead now. Waze is useless without GPS. The microphone goes dead suddenly, only a restart will make it work again. The last OTA was in 01/2017. Poor ram management. This phone was meant for the Chinese market. The rest of the world should stay away from MEIZU phones.

Right now this phone and Xiaomi Redmi S2 cost the same. After deep consideration, I went for Meizu M6 Note due to the following reasons: 1) Metal Build 2) Full HD Display 3) 4,000 maH Battery with Fast Charging 4) Flyme OS 5) Front facing Fingerprint Scanner But design-wise, Redmi S2 looks better than Meizu M6 Note. The only thing I am not so sure is the camera. From my usage, the Meizu M6 Note has a great camera, better than Samsung S7. But reviews also said the Redmi S2 has one the best cameras in its segment. Anyone has experience using both these devices? Can you share your views on this?

Their only big difference is their cameras in which meizu cameras are way better. Xiaomi got way better software support though and is cheaper. RN4 is kinda old though and xiaomi got better options on around the same price. Meizu m6 note ram management sucks hard by the way, i got the 4/64gb varient.

I bought my own Meizu M6 note for almost a month now. And I can say it's really good. The camera is also good. Well the only cons about this gadget is its battery mAh. Its good that it charge very fast but while using it, it drained fast. Meizu M6 can be your first phone while you're looking for your dream phone in the future. It's usable.

Of course Redmi Note 5 Pro, you get 18:9 screen, dual good camera (camera quality is good at this price), much better SD636 processor, and also support Qualcomm QC2.0 (but the included charger is not fast charging, there are pros and cons with Qualcomm QC, it may not be the fastest charging, but one that have less compatible issue, where you can use any Micro USB or type C cable, then any brand of charger as long as it is Qualcomm QC certified)

@ Vic Agnat M721H version (global) has no problems with Google Play or any Google service. @ Anonymus You have to remove Meizu's "Smart Background" memory management and put "Allow in background". M721H (global version) works excellent with all the apps. @ Nickolay Meizu has something called "Eye friendly mode" that turns the screen into "old school" not so bright white color, yet more gentle to the eyes, a natural yellow color. Some might say its greenish. @7700 Think you have done something with your google play account. I had similar problems when I tried to change the Flyme launcher. Had to do a factory reset. To all interested in this phone. It's quite good. Battery lasts more than 1 day if i have 10h of on screen time, 2 days with 6h SoT, 3 days with 4h and 4 days if I use it light (2-3h of SoT). This is all with Viber/WA and e-mails in the background working and 2 SIMs in use. Camera is fine if you don't zoom into details. Bokeh works excellent. Back camera default app doesn't have a timer, selfie one - has. Flyme os is quite stabile and fast. 4GB/64GB global version. 2 SIMs work excellent with more than enough options to split the calls/mobile data etc. Maybe not so good price/performance now when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is out.

Purchased one from China which took almost 5 weeks to arrive! Shipped...well, by ship I guess lol! Anyway on the first evening of ownership I dropped it in the toilet! It was submerged for the usual "what was that...fuck my phone...quick grab it out immediately moment" about 6 seconds i'd estimate! Anyway a week in rice later and the screen had almost 100% recovered and the only damage left over from the incident is a small 1mm x 1mm blob where the screen is slightly brighter than the rest of it. So what have we learned? The Meizu M6 Note is highly fluid damage resistant but it is far from water proof or resistant. It absolutely isn't so don't be an idiot like me, I was utterly wounded! The next day, I was riding my road bike and something fell from my coat pocket, yep my M6 Note! I ran over it before I even understood what I was running over! Guess what? The Meizu M6 Note is VERY damage resistant! Not a single dent in its aluminium uni-body, not a scratch! OK, It is protected with a thin TPU case an a crappy glass screen protector that isn't made specifically for this device, so doesn't cover the whole screen, but a bike running it over with the screen face down on the street, all with my 160lbs of weight on top of it, you'd think it would have sustained some damage. The only mark left from its second disaster since arriving in the UK is a tiny scratch to the right of the M Touch button where the crappy glass screen protector does not cover, and where it must have impacted a small stone on the road. It is UNBELIEVABLE that the screen didn't completely shatter! Since then I have managed to keep the phone safe and well, with no more accidents! So to sum up, Its a very good cheap device at the £150 price point. The build quality is amazing, with the entire device being beautifully CNC'd from a lump of aluminium and finished off with a perfect coat of tough and attractive anodizing. Of particular design excellence is the way Meizu have blended the antenna bands, its possibly the best incorporation i have seen on any phone with them simply blending into the device. Meizu have also used the same aluminium on the top and bottom ends of the phone as the body is constructed from, so unlike a lot of devices, some more expensive than the Note 6, where the top and bottom ends are made from a badly fitting plastic that makes the whole device appear like a cheap piece of shite, Meizu's M6 stands out for its absolutely excellent high end build quality. Xiaomi, UMI and others take note! Performance, is basically excellent with the device being more than fast enough for the vast majority of people. The battery is amazing and could last almost 2 days with the screen brightness being kept lowish. I havent a single issue with its performance. The screen is really good, just a typical 5.5" 1080P job. The cameras are the only area where I think it could improve. They are far from bad however, you can take really good pictures but more often than not, I get blurred images and have to stand statue still to guarantee a perfect shot. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing given the rest of the phone is stunning. The sound system is fookin excellent, very loud and loads of low frequency that you can actually hear. This device has the best single speaker ive heard on a smartphone. Conclusion; For a lot less than £200 in the UK, this phone is a bargain. A say, Samsung of the same, even twice the price would be garbage in comparison i am sure!

I've used for a week and so far I can say this is a solid phone and a great choice given it price. I'm on the Chinese Rom from day 1 then I followed the guide from youtube to install Playstore. After the successful installation, the phone works well like any other phones running with playstore installed out of the box. All the google services are fully functional. So my recommendation is stay with Chinese Rom because: 1. It get OTA updates 2. The "global ROM" seems unofficial, and is not supported in the long-term. Cheers

If the flyme OS version is (I) International Version, you can get the Google Play Store fully on operation. On the other hand, if your flyme OS version is (A) chinese version you may download the "GMS Installer" in the app of Flyme and get the Google Play Store and its also fully on operation. :) It gets updates.

I bought Meizu m6 note three weeks ago from Geekbuying.com websiteand I really recommend this phone but the website where I bought my cell was terrible.. They sent me wrong color after two months. So, the main advantage of Meizu is Battery and front Camera. They are extremely satisfying and also the fingerprint, flash in the back work well. The quality during the calling can be better. The back camera also satisfying but there is two cameras so could work better but is still great. The vibration force is quite weak and Flyme translation to polish is also not so well. I had xiaomi rn3 and was worst than meizu definitely. I really recommend this model for $190 is the best choice. I think that this is the best model of Meizu ever!

Really depends on your preferences. I really like the camera of Meizu phones although I only had their mid range phones. MIUI is far more optomized and stable than Flyme, but Flyme is very okay for me, too.

Sad situation... In october 2016, Qualcomm menace Meizu with patents... One year later, Meizu use Snapdragon! Strange, isn't it. P20 or P25 are as good as S625! Mediatek's ImagIQ ISP on P25 is as capable as Qualcomm's s625 for photos ans videos. Audio part is enough even on P10! 24bits/192khz 110dB SNR! 95dB THD!...you don't understand specs? 24bits/192khz is bluray's lossless DTS Master Audio level! Audio quality will depend mostly on amplification unit. Pro 7 only use separated DAC to reach audiophile 32bits/384khz...CS43130 DAC provide an integrated amplification unit for 32ohm headphones! Problem is that Mediatek is often Linked to chinese small brands from Shenzen...put bad lenses, crappy amplification, bad OS integration or even "fake" dual camera even on ISP that can't handle them properly (mt6750)... Qualcomm doesn't allow others to use Mediatek...use CDMA/lte patents to force using Snapdragon... They kill most phone's soc designers (even Intel or nvidia no longer design phone's soc!) Samsung is unable to sell Exynos to OEM (Samsung is a CCIA member, this association help Apple against Qualcomm!) And people applause? they are crazy! What do they want? Be forced to buy Samsung or Huawei or phones with Qualcomm?... What OEM want? Raising prices for soc? Failures like 410/615 or 810? What market regulators are waiting for? Will they let Qualcomm buying NXP Semi and getting one more monopole on NFC to rule once more the market? As Android market is the main victim, only Apple is trying to change things! Even if I dislike them, I hope they will win!

I don't know why this beautiful phone sported with 16mp selfie camera!! Everyone know megapixel is nothing in terms of image quality! to get good and sharp photo the pixel size in micron should be high. higher megapixels means lower individual pixel size! Everyone snap selfie to post on facebook/instagram, so good quality 5mp is more than enough. even we know iphone 6 has only 1.2 mp front camera!

The advantages of Mi 5X is Type-C and MIUI 9. But comparing with M6 Note, the battery and the cameras become its disadvantages. For me, I would like to choose M6 Note due to its better performance on battery and camera. I do not really care about Type-B.

It's very frequent if you're on the chinese version. Sometimes every2 weeks, sometimes every month. If you're on global, it takes months since only stable updates are given to the global version and beta updates can be used by the ones using chinese version

Lol, you don't really need android update with meizu since flyme is really far from stock and we even got multi windows which should only be from marshmallow. Also, if you're having a problem with locked bootloader, it shouldn't be a problem for you to unlock it since it's a very easy process.

As a Meizu user, regular updates are fine, but Android Base upgrade (For example M3 Note is still on 5.1) situation is terrible. Bootloader is locked as well. So, my next phone will not be a Meizu.
