I have been using this phone for the past 1 years and i haven't face any problem till date. As per my experience this phone works great. As for me, iam a heavy user. So, this phone doesn't fits me. But for a light user, its ok. After using 4-5 application for sometime, and you are in need of making a call to someone, it takes 1-2 minutes to open the contact. Because of the low ram and less cpu, everything works slow but it support almost everything.

Its a good phone. Although the sevicing centre are not so appreciable. It doesn't give any user memory. RAM Memory is 168 MB and Rom is 208 MB. Application are movable to sd card. Camera quality is good but at night, its not appreciable. Support most of the game unlike samsung phone running android 2.3. I have been using this phone for the past 12 months but i haven't face any problem till date. Because of the lack of memory, sometimes the application run slow. So one must reboot atleast once in a day to keep the phone running smoothly. Sound quality, Damn Good. Earphone, better than Sony. Overall, its a good phone when we compare the price tag. Video call works well. Internet browsing is very good. But it Doesn't support Flash Player. Graphics and Brightness are damn good. Battery is not so good. Talktime 4 hours & 30 minutes.

I just got my micromax A78 today. I have been using blackberry until now, I am not comfortable with touch screens, wanted a qwerty keyboard, this is the only model that had this, I just switched in on, entered my gmail ac and I was all set to go. I then connected my wifi network and I did all this after that, got whatsapp, chatted with a couple of friends, I mainly got this phone for viber calls which may be a mistake as I think its not fully supported; I could download got the contacts but the call sound was bad. The volume seems to be lower than I would like it. I watched a song on youtube, beautiful quality. Now I have not yet inserted my sim or my sd card and so much worked. I am stil gettin used to the phone and I think for price of 6200 that I paid I got a lot. I did get one activity error but I don't know y. Browsing is really fast too. So if you are lookimg for a cheap android phone which gives you a lot go for it

Excellent phone by an Indian Company Hello, Bought this phone for my sister. An excellent mobile phone with 'ALL' the features. Once you enter your gmail address while setting up your android account, there's no looking back. The wifi and gps work like a charm. The battery is good which lasts easily for 1 and a half day with data connection on. Video calling is excellent, I tried it with my galaxy tab 7 plus and there were no issues. The full QWERTY key pad is an added advantage. The 3.5 inch touch screen is Good. Pls don't compare it with 30000 bucks AMOLED screens, but it is clear, you can surf the net and read everything finely. Google Play (Android market) is available for you to download apps. All games including Angry Birds etc run beautifully. While buying it from Flipkart, pls buy the 8 GB micro SD card as well; because without the micro SD card the camera won't save snaps, which is Good. Otherwise the inbuilt memory'll be filled up by snaps. I fully recommend this phone for everyone. It's good looking, and with all the features you'd want or imagine. :-)

hi buddy u can go ahead n buy this phone as it has a solid build and good keypad egronomics.. battery is 1300 mah jusr like ace plus from samsung it will give you an 7hrs talk time and good 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 says standby unlike any expencive droid phone. It has 1 ghz processer and fm transmitter .. according to me a decent piece to buy.. P I C K I T U P... G O A H E A D !

Hello this is amar I had purchase this phone online from Saholic, after using it for 3 Days i go to know that this Micromax superfone A78 was getting restart 10-15 times a day,then i contact the online company for replacement they told me it can replace within time period of 48 hrs. After this i visited the service centre they told me that we have to replace the motherboad and it will take 25 Days,This was my worst experience Micromax has no after sales service,and there Customer care people are always helpless,you cannot talk to the seniors,etc And Please dont go for this phone choose some better option.

Well considering the price range and provided specifications.. It is really a good phone. But have the biggest con that I came across is the Battery.. It do not last for a day if you are frequent caller.. Micromax should resolve this issue as they have covered almost all things to give best priced smartphone. Further You can't trust the network accessibility while on the go. If u really want to do so, then u must carry along your phone charger all the time.

Hi Rinku, If you really want to go for Micromax then go for A73 as it has good memory, 256 Ram and 512 ROM as per specification on GSM ARENA, But it dosent have quarty keyboard and it has 2MP camera. I am using A78, facing problem of low memory.

Pros: 1) Good Speed. 2) Has dual sim. 3) Slim and good look. 4) Video Call works fine. 5) Key board is fine, helps allot in fast typing. Cons: 1) Installed software have limited capability like file manager dosen't allow to select multiple files. with Office suite only we can view documents, cant make any change to it. 2) Skipe Video is not working on this phone, 3) Battery backup is very very low... 4) It has un-necessary software installed on it like teen patti, mi-app, File manager, etc 5) both sim cant run on 3g at a time, only 1 sim can be 3g.

hi all definetly great buy for me. set is reduced if it is used after fully charged now i'm using skype for voice call. for video call skype notes that this handset not listed in their list. u should not enable video calling option.. otherwise no issue for voice call and message. it doesn't support flash. i also downloaded Tango.. i've to try video call. for video player BS player lite is great it plays mkv and .ac3 audio file also. in settings I've to specify format for software and hardware decoding. best best mobile phone i'm really surprised of this set. always maitain the clear data and change max. application to sd card. for audio player X player is best. always check for unwanted running of face book it take 10MB of ram. i'll write after a week

I am using this phone for more then a week now,some of the pros and cons of the phone are listed below. Build quality: 1-->Good build quality,the dark chocolate brown color looks awesome. the quality of plastic and SS back battery cover makes the phone feel rigid and heavy. Network: 1--> it supports everything, wifi hotspot,bluetooth 3.0 A-GPS. I installed Sygic to check the GPS signal and working and it worked flawlessly. 2-> 2 sim support - one for 3g and other for 2g. Micromax has done some good software upgrade to recognize the sims from which u dial or send message.Trust me the interface for it is not the one if any 1 thinks if its a china phone. Qwerty Keyboard: keyboard is ok, not like the one on BB, but it ofcourse takes time to get use to it. Both the android keyboard and physical keyboard can be used as the big screen makes it more convenient. Battery: 1300 Mah-- its not that good not bad either. With a full charge and whole day connected to GPRS and sometimes WIFI. it last for one full day. I have HTC one X , 1800mah battery and it last for same either. Sound Quality; Ok from the supplied in-earphones and good if you use a nice headphones. It also has a RDS radio which works good. Movies- Dont expect micromax to play 1080p movies, u can plan a normal NON HD video easily. Quadrant Benchmark--> I ran the complete benchmark and its just below the score of samsung galaxy s so not bad. Software- It has many software provided with the phone like FB, TOI, Micromax market and ofcourse it also support android market and google PLAY. Camera: Not good. Its not autofocus and takes average photo in Sunlight and frankly no use of flash. Speakers: Very good and loud. Final Words--> Good phone at 7200 INR mostly coz of Android Dual Sim Qwerty Keyboard Build Quality definitely an alternative to BB as dnt have to subscribe for BB service. Not Good for HD movies Camera

i got this for 7300 yesterday... my first android phone.. pros elegant design, good performance, video call, sound clarity, cons, low battery bacup, set is getting heat while making call as far as battery all android is having same problem. i'll write more after a week

i bought it 5 days before. im a high end android user.. so far, its performance is as per the expectation.. average speed response. 256 RAM, 650 mHz processor. quite comparable touchpad and sound advantage of Dual SIM and Keypad. though camera is not enjoyable yet A78, the QUITE GOOD android phone we can have at this prize (7590 Rs.) ya, battery life i think is disapointing with average 7-10 hours "IN HAND" usage after 5 days of experience...
