Samsung-Korean Junk??? Don't be ridiculous. Samsung has been always a respected manufacturer of pretty much anything you can stick in your house. Now reffering to phones. I have one. My mother has one, we love them. They work great. They are great. The Displays on Samsung are among the best on non-japanese brands (japs obviously got it going there). So, rounding up... I'll have to say Samsung has never failed me. I don't care if it's Korean, Japanese, Bolivian or f****g Bantu. They're great phones.

Sorry, but I feel so disappointed that I had to wrote these few lines. Shame that the �m420i Mitsubishi� phone comes on the market in 2005 and has no MP3 support for ring tones but disgusting polyphonic stuff. I am sick just to hear any kind of ring tone that is not MP3 format. Polyphonic ring tones are really sucks!! And the buttons on the top are so small that you need a needle to push them, awful! Of course it is made of good quality. Terrible that there is no software for communication between phone and computer. Get a No kia.

First of all, everyone should be known that i don't ever use this cell, but reading the features, something is OK & something is not satisfied me. A mobile which have a 256k color, 1.3mp camera with video and mp3 support, how can u imagine that it has only 19mb memory!!! This limitation makes the phone falling from the sky to the earth!! But decision can be made by user whether it is suit with him.Bye.

You clearly know nothing about phone!!! lemme show you!!! 1) M420i uses TFD LCD, while D500 uses TFT LCD (TFT is the finest LCD type used in mobiles) 2) M420i has MP3 player and 1.3 MP Camera but only 19 MB memory? And no card slot? PLEASE!!! for those who doesn't know, a single MP3 file would be about 4-7 MB!!! And a 1.3 MP picture would be about 200 KB!!! That's makes this phone a waste!!! D500 doesn't have a card slot but has a record breaking 96 MB user memory!!! Compare 19 MB to 96 MB!!! HELLO!!! 3) D500 has bluetooth for excellent connectivity!!! This M420i doesn't!!! And in case you don't know... bluetooth is a must for a good phone!!! 4) My god! M420i doesn't even support MP3 ringtones? Oh god! D500 has that! And it's another must for a good mobile!!! And D500 has many more cool features this phone doesn't have!!! The lists keeps going on!!! How dare you compare!!! And even say this is better and even demand us to buy m420i instead? PLEASE!!!

Welldone mitsubitshi, I really appreciate the effort of mitsubishi on this very model M420i, its really impressive with crazier camera work, but let me simply urge mitsubishi to improve this model by including bluetooth and memory/flash card in this model to give it more chances of winning in the market & to get more accustomed to the features people are familiar with ....more grease to ur elbow, MITSUBISHI - IMPROVE TO WIN ALL

why waste your money on a d500? well if this mitsuibihi goes wrong where do you take it. A CAR DEALERS? yes yes 1.3 mega pixel but just coz the number is big it doesnt mean the pics will be full of quality! Oh yeh and 19mb of memory....i rest my case! Get a d500 a mixture of class performance and and easy to use format!

I am from France, and I'm just getting this new M420i (i-mode version of M760 over Bouygues network in France, I think). It's really nice phone, and perferct to get various service of i-mode. I am now keen on the Video Ringtone services. Britney whisper me for incoming call (^_^)

i think this has a very interesting design - is it stolen from samsung? ill only agree to that ignorant statement once the poster acknowledges samsung stole its design from the dozen other manufacturers that have a slider phone...come on people anyway - it does have fewer features than the d500 (namely - bluetooth, card slot) - HOWEVER - it does have a BETTER camera (1.3mp ccd v. 1.3mp cmos) - AND it comes in at about $75-100 usd cheaper... bottom line - if you need bluetooth and a memory card slot - be prepared to spend about $100 usd more - if you dont need those and would like a better rated camera - save yourself some money and go with the mits...

where's your sense of originality mitsubishi ? your design is so samsung-ish, please... aside from the blatant fact that you make oh-so great cars, your effort at the mobile-phone market is really poor. but hey failure is part and parcel of beginners in the phone industry. My friend has this phone, its features are a saving point for its plain-jane looks. But anyway, great effort =)

Im a tester for this phone.. ive had the privilege of using it for weeks while testing over 12000 cases of the software hehe.. its a kewl phone not much bigger then youd expect of a phone with a screen this big (about the size of the sony k700i).. the top buttons are (like the samsung d500) a little hard to get to if you have those big sossage fingers.. its has a nice weight.. not to light so it doesnt feel like a cheap toy.. the phone does NOT have any card slot that is true we opped this to mitsubishi but it was not an option.. no bluetooth either :( but a great great great camera :) and a great great screen too :).. the phone was tested while being on the charger offcourse so i cant tell you guys anything about the battery life im affraid overal nice phone nice graphics but alot of bad points for the missing cardslot and bluetooth id give it about a 7 for more info just mail at [email protected]

hmmm... quite ok looking in my opinion.. its an outright attack on the samsung slide phones. Design nothing too fantastic, the overwhelming shades of grey make it look like a dull phone actually. looks almost symmetrical and if grey is the only colour, i'll be rather depressed at buying this phone and looking at it everyday. The competition... looking at its equilivant model the samsung D500 since its soooo damm new... i think both of them seem to come in neck in neck... but from what gsmarena.com offers in terms of the specs, the samsung model will eventually win. i won't say its the better phone sincee this baby just appeared on this website like today! Structure interesting approach for mitsubishi to wanna move to this kinda structure (sliding) mentioned b4 that i'm worried about scratching the screen and on top of that by sliding it like that, you actually may result in a structually weaker phone compared to the more sturdy clamshell design For whom you say? this phone may probably appeal more to the business man (no flashy colours) or to the "sliders" community... haha... finaly impressions overall still quite a big phone, typical of mitsubishi, but a new design new taste new market... could this be a mission statement to want to challenge bigger companies like samsung and uh... whats that company's name? some noki or something like that lahz... if that is so.. i'd say its a good start for mitsu... only concern is that the 900, 800, 760 and 520 may be released at the same time... dunno whether its gonna backfire with divided markets vs mass appeal as a whole. or sloppy workmanship due to mass production. just a concern for ya info... doesn't mean it'll come true. ^_^
