Motorola Moto 360 (1st gen) - User Reviews

  • I still have it .. and it has WiFi connectivity ! The specs are not updated ...

  • Does it work with Iphone?

  • I also have been using it for years and alsobreplaced the battery once (look at ifixit.com how to do it). Far best display to body ratio until today! Can't understand, why new watches aren't so beautiful anymore... Loved it!

  • I have been using Moto 360 since last 3 years and wearing it on daily basis... Nice watch no issue ...now battery backup is declining which may be expected after using more than 3 years.... Can anyone Help me replacing its battery coz I don't want to upgrade this watch

  • This is the only device I can find which is still on Wear OS 1.4. This is no longer supported by the Android libraries so developing (useful) apps for it is virtually impossible now. (I just tried to reduce our minimum supported version specifically for this device, and it wouldn't build).

  • I have to disagree. I've had one for about 2 years as well and used to love it. But it seems lately that one-by-one it has stopped talking to apps on my phone. It was great that I could just look at my watch to get yardages from my golf gps app (Swing by Swing), or go through my shopping list without having to pull my phone out (Listonic). But none of thjese apps talk to the moto 360 1st gen anymore.

  • Here I am, almost 4 years later, and I'm absolutely loving this device! Falling in love with it all over again... This is just a wonderful watch. Sure, it has it's flaws, but all in all, great job Motorola! I got mine used about 2 years ago, and I've been wearing it almost every day since. Just love it! Battery life usually gets me through the day, but just barely. The screen is also starting to lose pixels, which is to be expected at 4 years. Maybe I'll buy another sometime, or maybe upgrade to a 2nd Gen Moto. Thanks to Motorola for doing such a great job in bringing us Android Wearables!

  • I'm confused, how does this display work? It claims it's an LCD, but the blacks seem to be shut off, and the display is cut into a circle, which I thought only OLED's could do. I need answers.

  • i think u need iphone 5s or higher

  • Next time if you buy watch like this make sure it's 200 meters the allow distance. 200 meters away from water.

  • Yes you can with the Android wear app but it says not recommended. I have done it before.

  • You cannot connect 1st gen to iPhone

  • Look on YouTube. I believe you just need to download an app from the App store on iOS to connect it.

  • Hi guy pls let me know how to contact with iPhone 6s

  • Hey guys, hope you are emjoying your moto 360. My charger has gone bad. any suggestions for an alternative charger ? regards. SB

  • nice watch

  • In fact you lost your gadget..it's not waterproof..so get a new one..Sony smartwatch 3 will be good for you

  • Hi all, Bought this watch a year ago and everything was perfect, the wahtch was dead few days ago after i swam with it in the swimming pool as the water goes inside it .. do you have any suggestions how to fix it as i am living in Egypt and there is no Moto service center here?

  • Can we rep the message or mail..or we can zoom the pic

  • It is made to work with all software 9 and onwards

  • I own a Moto 360 (1st gen) and it work perfectly an now you can buy it for a great price. Software is the same as the Moto 360 (2nd gen), Running Android OS 6.0.1, Android Wear 1.4.0.2580363, Google Play Services: 9.2.56 Also has WIFI working when BlueTooth lost or to far from phone. To have you work on iPhone you must download AndroidWear software onto iPhone first.

  • Android by a long shot. Android just was meant for Android Wear devices. Android Wear support for the iPhone was more of an afterthought, not a full-fledged feature.

  • Will not connect to my iPhone 5c.

  • The iPhone turns this watch into a piece of junk. It doesn't support the Moto at all, it works way better with a android

  • Will this watch work better in an iPhone or Android ? What would be the major difference ?

  • A number of corrections: - It has WiFi, 2.4GHz only, supports IPv4 and IPv6. - Alerts, it only vibrates, no MP3 or WAV ringtones. - Features, no MP3 player, no speaker at all. With normal/minimal use you can expect 24-36 hours out of a full charge. With heavy use you can kill it in 12 hours or less. Running major updates sucks 1/3 of the battery and it becomes uncomfortably warm (there have only been 3 updates, so this is very rare). The screen response is very good on Marshmellow. One major annoyance, it comes with the Moto Body Wear App built-in, regardless of whether you have it on your phone, and can't be removed by default. It's possible to remove through adb (see the xda forums for directions if you know what adb is). Moto Body will pop up nagging you to use it, and also recording your steps heartbeat every 5 minutes.

  • The specifications show it not to have Wi-Fi but, after it get's upgraded to Lollipop 5.1.1 it will enable Wi-Fi with including add-on setting options located in the Settings menu. The Wi-Fi does have support for IPv6 from the looks of it but, in the Wi-Fi menu you can connected it to 2.4GHz networks only.

  • This watch doesn't have a loudspeaker. Why it says yes here in loudspeaker option??

  • it does not have a audio notification just viberation....

  • Alert : Vibration Loudspeaker : No WLAN : Yes USB : Yes ( USB Pin Out under side ) has NO - Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic
