maybe there is an issue with usb port. I had the same issue with turbo charging and I finally replaced that port, and problem solved!

Its really hard to believe that Motorola is not doing justice to it's own high-end devices. Motorola Moto Maxx is launched at 42.5 K In India but totally forgetton by Moto with in a month. It was so forgotten that even devices launched @ 1/3 of its price got the VOLTE support in India but this device is still awaiting for the same from past 6 months..there is no roadmap for the same nor for further upgrades. Still, there is no revert from Moto at all ..no wonder, people in India totally lost faith in Moto and Lenovo and moving towards Mi and oneplus brands as they know both of them will do justice to their devices and release periodical updates...Shame on Motorola...

To the guy having second thoughts. I wouldn't get the G4+ over the maxx or turbo. The g line is not marketed or made to quality that the maxx or turbo is. It has more cores but your phone only utilizes so many any way and it's a slow octa core which even cheaper phones heve. Snapdragon 805 is my personal favorite to date and I think it's the best. Less complications and more efficient.

The file size was 9oo+MB; after downloading the file, it took 15 minutes to install successfully. Running very smoothly & battery backup increased significantly. It's better Late than Never. This phone is terrific. I can easily say it is the best from its generation and the next one. Phones with snapdragon 808/810 didnt offer anything new but a higher price. Performance wise you cant tell the difference between a 805 and a 810 (heck, to the final user anything from 800 and above is the same). The battery is terrific, GPS signal also great and Motorola's touch to android actually improves it. Buy this shit if you can. BTW, Marshmallow already out.

I came from Lg g3 which I have been using for last one and half years. This is a truly grateful phone. The design is cool that stand apart from Samsung stereotypes. The screen is good. The camera is also good but only problem is compared to other phones its a bit laggy. From the lock screen we can see upto 4 notifications by waving hand our hand over the screen without touching it. got this thing and so far so good, The camera is a bit weak because of the moto IR sensors, it eat's the battery a lot and the 2k panel also eats a lot of battery juice. The only downside is the software, LATE UPDATE, still on 5.0.1 lollipop. Build quality is actually good, the design looks great IMO, but the glass design of samsung phones are really sexy compared to this.

Probably because youre running on a network which the phone isn't compatible with. The moto maxx only has certain lte bands unlocked. Unlike your s4 which is more of a global phone with fully unlocked lte bands.

Please, read model! XT1225 is not Motorola's RAZR MAXX (XT925). This phone has more ppi than LG G4, SGS5, iPhone 6, and most other flagship phones. 21MP camera! I recently got a nee one for my self, and my brother got an LG G4 at the same time. Since we are techs, we made some benchmarks and Moto XT1225 got 5,000 points more than LG G4. Had Motorola since Milestone. I dont change since I see them inside and almost never I get motorolas at the 20+ stores I give service with my tech company. Judge by urself!

Z1 2.5 hours (same, almost imposible to handle with just one single hand) For gaming, Office, and everything else, believe me, it's a beast. Video player (2k, FHD), 8 hours. I know it's never coming to Canada, but I'm excited for this phone to become more widely available so I can at least buy it. It's almost identical to the Droid Turbo EXCEPT that this phone is made to run on gsm networks. I've had the Droid mini for a few months, and its a great little phone, but the difference between unlocked to gsm and being a gsm phone can be huge, depending on your network.

All I was saying is that the ppi is too much, don't need a QHD resolution on a 5.2" device and to be honest QHD would have been better with next year's s810 chip to avoid any lag. Yes I admit the specs are good but they are wasted on such a small screen, should have been around 5.5" to 6" screen, would have been a better all round device.

It's actually a phablet not a tablet, but at the end of the day it takes calls, it's actually has excellent call quality, and also the ability to send text messages so it is like any other mobile device. There is nothing wrong with comparing two devices of different sizes, it's not a tablet, it's style and design is based on a phone not a tablet so you should be able to compare a 5.2" device with a 6.4" device.

Agreed. It would be perfect had it had an SD slot and 1080p display. Bigger battery isn't an upgrade it is to keep battery life the same despite the QHD screen. If I bought this phone I would root it and force the ppi to 1080p.
