Motorola SPICE XT300 - User Reviews

  • 5

  • May I ask how many phone number can be saved on a single name?

  • need a screen for xt300

  • while charging the electricity went out and my xt300 does not stay on.

  • how can i retrieve my google password

  • i there i have are motorola xt300 too and i would like to use it in my country but its need are network code somebody help me

  • coolest phone but short battery time and very slow

  • flex ribbon easily damaged! hard to find replacement...

  • This phone is a piece of shit. I can't figure out what the symbols mean and when I google it the answer is in chinesebwhich is great if u can read chinese

  • I've had this phone for just over a year now, slow processor, slow turn on, just slow and laggy. Touch screen loves to work without me touching it, resulting in random apps opening and texting by itself. The only good thing is keyboard (when the processor can keep up)and battery (I don't use data, with data running, maybe a day, without 2-3 days). It does almost nothing without a data plan, and doesn't work with on.

  • The motorola spice is the biggest piece of shit you can buy. Slow, laggy, just a terrible all around phone. DO NOT BUY. It's only good feature is that its so heavy that it makes a great paper weight. But youll probably end up getting so pissed off at it that youll just buy an iPhone and shoot the spice with your shotgun. Destroying your spice is the only good experience youll have with it.

  • When i first got this ophone i thought it was kindof cool with the touch screen and the slideout keyboard but then like a week later i realized how crappy this piece of @#$% was. No kidding with the lag the only game i can play on this Sh@$y phone is "Glow Hockey", the only thing i like about it is Laughing at the stupid sound it makes when it takes a picture.

  • I have seen XT300 advertisements at cyber city DLF Phase II gurgaon and then I bought this from reliance digital at ambience. This phone stop working in 1yr only. When i complaint to motorola, they say it is not lunch in india. I am wondering how motorola is exist in earth with such a bad product and lying.

  • I have used this phone and Id give a three star. The phone needs to have a faster processor and if it had a faster processor, the phone wont lag while doing simple tasks like scroll the web. The keyboard was excellent and easy to type on. Unfortunately there isnt much games because of its screen resolution and its terrifyingly slow processor.

  • ****y and sux like **** too laggy even charger dosent charge right

  • It sucks, except the keyboard is decent, the music player is well built. Also, I've dropped it from 3-4 feet and it survived without a dent or crack

  • motorola spice xt300 just crop its a disgrace to phone

  • I honestly hate this phone so much. At first I thought it was the coolest thing till I started noticing how much it lagged and froze, It absolutely sucks and I can't wait for a new phone! The only thing that's good about this phone is that it doesn't break easily, other than that there isn't anything outstanding about it. Once again, it sucks.

  • just an awful awful phone.

  • Hahahahahahahahaha....

  • This phone is the WORST cell phone I ever purchased. My first and last Motorola. As others report, lag, battery life too short, can't answer a call, can't hang up, it takes more than 2 minutes to load at openning, gps doesn't work well, not able to run a map app well, always bugs and delays. Please, stay FAR AWAY from this phone. Pay 100 or 150$ more and buy ANY OTHER smart phones. I bought mine on a 36 months plan and stick with it for another 2 years.

  • Im going to rape this phone as soon as ibuy something to replace it. WORST phone ever made. Constantly reboots for no reason. Takes an HOUR to switch screens, answer calls. Wont let me hang up a call unless i rip off the back and take out the battery!!!! Drops calls all the time. Puts calls on hold by itself! Texts by itself!!!! Its favorite msgs are mmmmmmmmmmmmmm and mlmlmlmlmlmlmlmlml. Calls people on my contact list. Takes 6 *%$*#*!!! days for it to turn on!!! Battery dies in an hour of use. Weighs 20 lbs. Piece of f_____ junk. I absolutely wanna DESTROY THIS THING.

  • This was my first and last Motorola phone. It sucks so, but so badly i can't even describe. If you sum the time i lost trying to make/answer calls (because the processor is so slow it almost clocks backwards) you'd come to a value better read in weeks rather than in minutes. The screen just doesn't work, and frequently it rebooted in my pocket. If you drop it from 1" it will reboot, because the battery and its receptacle are poorly designed. The keyboard does fell great, but if the phone won't let you use it, what is that worth? After suffering time enough, i switched back to my nokia 2630 and - no kidding - found it to be WAY more responsive. bottom line: if you see this device, run in the opposite direction. really, i can't truly express how frustrating it is to own and use it.

  • i downloaded operamini into these 4ne and it works, its far more better then google

  • I have had this phone for one year now and it's been great. It cost me $70 + tax to buy out right. It runs smoothly, though not as fast as some of the $500-600 models. Slide out key board is great for texting, it's descent for surfing, but the best is it's tethering capabilities. Works awesome as a wireless hotspot. All in all, it's an excellent entry level smartphone at an amazing price point.

  • I know right!I had this phone and it broke in least than a month!I hate it!Although it has pretty good speed texting!

  • This is the worst phone I ever have, to make it kind of usuable you should root it and uninstall the motorola stock applications and don't install anything more just use it has a feature phone. The battery life is really short, the screen responsiveness is a pain, the resolution is awful, some times you just can't answer a call because the processor is busy doing something else, maybe the only good point is the keyboard, but its the phone is too bulky, this really the last phone I buy from Motorola.

  • It's a shit phone! I have the exact problem! I plug the phone in 5 mins later it tells me its fully charged and I unplug it and less than 30 mins it starts flashing red. I can't leave my home without a charger for fear I will be stranded with no cell phone.

  • This is a great phone!!!! its one of my fav so far, im soo glad i bought it

  • agreed!!!! motorola spice is the crappiest phopne ever!!!! i had mine relapced 5 times and it still didnt work! samsung galaxy s 2 and 3 is where its at!! booh ya!

  • This is the worst phone to EVER HIT THE MARKET! Motorola should send out a mass apology to all those who purhcased this phone! The touch screen lags and freezes, the battery dies fast, the data is so slow and its so frustratiing to even turn it on. I bet that while making this phone they blind folded everyone just to see what would happen! If you are looking into buying this phone... DONT! If you already have this phone and are having problems... just throw it away and buy another phone! Good Luck to all who have this phone!!! west west ya'll

  • Never ever buy this phone. This is a piece of junk. spend 100 dollar more, buy better model.

  • I hate this phone it glitches and lags all the time it only works for the first few months. Do yourself a favor and save some money....dont get the phone!!!

  • i dont no y either. Same thing with my phone

  • If you want to have long battery life then turn off wifi and data as they use up loads of power on any phone. I use Mobile Data On/Off Toggle by Free Wing free from Android Market to turn off data (there are others but this works for me). When I want to use the net again I just tap this widget.

  • So seriously, this is crazy... I just charged my phone less than 30 mins ago, and now it only has 5% life remaining. How do I deal with this? Should I buy a new battery?

  • PLEASE!! If you want a good phone DO NOT BUY THIS!! It's awful!! The battery life is bad, the resolution is worse and it don't run even angry birds properly. So if you're looking for a good phone don't buy this, if you are looking for a waste of money and timer what are you waiting for? It has a 580 mHz computer... And it's not good enough for the price, because here in Mexico you can buy a Sony Ericsson x8 or a Samsung Galaxy Gio for exactly the same price, and those are WAY BETTER than this piece of trash, I am so sad because I didn't pick the Galaxy Gio when I had a chance TT^TT

  • This phone has a lot of features for the price. But the biggest downfalls, by far, are: 1) battery life: very bad in this regard. 2) LAG: Be prepared to wait 30 seconds for some apps to open. It's the built in junk that restarts every few minutes and no task killer can prevent this. Wish they had a fix for that, because I love the phone's features otherwise.

  • Your phone probably got some bad applications, during the first 2 months, I used to charge the battery every 6 hours. So I went to restore it with my vendor, and now the battery works until 36 hours using wifi along 18 hours.

  • This phone does a lot for being an entry level smartphone. How many inexpensive Android phones can you find with a slide out keyboard. There may be a few problems from time to time but great experience overall. If you want to have long battery life then turn off data. I use Mobile Data On/Off Toggle by Free Wing free from Android Market. What a difference! I got this phone free so no complaints.

  • I bought Motorola Spice in Sep 2011 and it freezes on its own and the calls are cut on their own too.The battery life is too weak and lasts for about 2-3 hours without use.The store owner told me that the software is powerful for the phone so it freezes. What should I do...I can`t even send pics on my PC

  • My wife and me both using this dumb phone for 1year, both phone have problem. First battery life is way to short. Internal memory is a joke, you won't find a smartphone this dumb as you can only install like 10apps most and it will run out of space. As well, it's very very slow, touch screen is not very often not corresponding to your touch due to the slow CPU and lack of internal memory. My friend has same phone, she got pissed too. If you want a smartphone that work smoothly, stay away from this phone.

  • Motorola Spice is really a smartphone too slow mainly because of the GPU not be activated, but to let him just a little more usable root and download a program to speed up the CPU and leave minimum and maximum speed of 528 Mhz, download the ADW Launcher, which I think is the best for Spice, and look for any programs that "enable" the GPU, but the better is change to a REAL SMARTPHONE: p

  • I have it for a year and i had no problems with the phone It works great could ask for a better phone even tho it is no longer avaiable i will miss it when it comes to replace it and possibly upgrade the phone...

  • Our family has had 2 Motorola Spices for 1 year. 1 works fine, other nothing but problems right out of the box. Also, for a smart phone, very very slow to do anything. Save your money to buy something else

  • I agree this is a piece of crap!!!. When you receive a call and begin speaking it just cuts the call by itself!!! I dont know what to do with it!! Either toss it in the garbage can or against the wall!!!!

  • I AM SOOOO CLOSE TO FLUSHING THIS PIECE OF CRAP DOWN THE TOLIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had it for a month and it broke. The screen stopped working, it turned itself on and off, and made random calls without me even laying a finger on it. I got it fixed, and 30 minutes later it was back to it's stupid shit. DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!! It's a HUGE waste of time and money.

  • i hate this phone i have it and is slow, i reset always, when i turn on i wait 2 min to see the first screen :S i can not download a lot apps i can not put a lot of songs

  • Really for only 79$ what store did u go 2???

  • This is the closest thing I have seen to what I want. I like the vertical slide-out Qwerty keyboard. The only thing stopping me from trading in my Blackberry for this is the fact that it does not have N wireless and the latest Android operating system!

  • use juice defender, remove as many widgets from the homescreens as you can, reduce as many services (like twitter and email sync)as you can.

  • u have to download apn on off from the market and switch off

  • can annybody tell me that my moto spice is not showing numbers on display though i have caller id .

  • I only want to ask a question, how to make the battery last longer, and I only make and receive call, and sometimes use the Internet, music, and photos. I bought 2 weeks ago and the battery lasts only one day

  • Awesome design. If this design can be published in Android 2.3 with 1.5 Ghz processor, Will be a HIT design.

  • Battery life is pitiful - I have hardly made it a whole day even with light use. Speaker on phone is weak so it is hard to hear with even moderate background noise. Screen harx to read in sunlight Appears to have a lot of software running in the background. On the positive side, manages multiple e-mail including my work Exchange account and is great for texting. As a phone, however, if I could return it, I would - it has a lot of gadgets but is a poor phone

  • Wow, I got this phone regular price from the store down the street for $79, about 2 months ago.

  • the phone is really good...and i downloaded the launcherpro...man its sick....its working at a very good speed

  • I got this phone in China about 2 weeks ago for about US$215, unlock without contract. I tested and yes, I can open the slide to answer calls and close the slide to end calls. My friend helped me to flash the Brazil ROM.

  • I got this smartphone a month ago so far it is the best which I have ever before. Battery life is a issue u need to charge it everyday but overall performance is gr8 GPS option is very good and its works fine without wifi via satellite. Thats I will rate 9.5/10 in this price.

  • With the courtesy of my phone company I gave the Spice a trial run of a week Its a slippery bugger, so you definitely need a skin of some sort to aid you in handling it. However the only ones available are gloves that hold it and don't allow for any screen viewing. The interface is quite slick if you have the patience to get used to it. Although im a little disappointed in the stock rom. 2.2 i believe. Its quite eye jarring in addition to the QVGA screen (going on smoke here). While the slider keypad is ALA torch I'm not so fond of the keys themselves. They remind me of one of those 1990's Organizers with the acryllic-like keys. Again time and patience will lead you to enjoying it. But when it comes to games and videos don't expect much as the cpu is severly limited at 528 of which you'll probably get around 400-440. Videos are grainy due to the screen quality and HQ as they present it, looks like low quality while low quality looks like 240p through a filter of sorts. Back to redeeming qualities, the camera. Finally a motorola phone that can deliver almost instant pictures in reasonable quality. THIS was impressive and almost made me keep it considering the rarity of such a good stock camera. Another plus, email its fast, real fast. Even on 3G i was surprised at how fast it picked up anything that went to my gmail. Call quality, its clear and good enough that i have no major complaints save positioning. If you can somehow get past the atrocious stock roms Motorola love so much and install a custom rom. Then you'll have a decent phone for some time

  • RE: Motorola SPICE I've had the Moto Spice for about 3 months now, and so far I'd say it's a good phone for the price you pay. I've never owned a device like this before, and thus far I'm satisfied. The Spice has a lot of cool little features that make it unique and fun to play around with (Ex. Backtrack). The design and layout of the phone is great and easy to use, and the asthetics of the phone are fantastic. I will say however, I've been somewhat disappointed by the battery life and speed of the phone. I have to charge it every night, which can be annoying, especially if I forget to plug it in. The speed was been a major issue for me until I just recently downloaded LauncherPro (Which I HIGHLY recomend you get if you buy this phone, and it's FREE). The Spice has some issues with speed, and sometimes it freezes and won't respond. However, LauncherPro seems to have fixed this issue for me. Overall, for the price you pay, the Spice is a very good phone. It looks great, it's well layed out, and once you get over the battery life and performance issues, you'll learn to love this phone. DESIGN: 9/10 Design is fantastic. It looks great, doesn't feel too big or too small in your hands, touch screen is easy to navigate, and the keyboard is a perfect size. FEATURES: 9.5/10 I'm new to the smartphone world, so having a phone like this is amazing. The Android market is great, and the little features that come with the phone make it awesome. PERFORMANCE: 8/10 Until recently, I probably would've given the performance of this phone a 2, but LauncherPro has made this phone a million times better. With that said, the performance of this phone with LauncherPro is excellent, and everything is running smooth. I still have an issue with battery life, but if you don't mind charging your phone every night, then you'll love this phone.

  • Well im going to buy this phone but the comments scares me a bit. I need to know if the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is better than this motorola spice, or if there are another smartphones in the market with a similar price. Thank you! Im sorry for the english, im from Argentina xd.

  • have the phone for about 6 months now the software is bugy phone freezes and crashes the wi-fi disconnects and there is no updates good basic phone battery life is about 2hrs

  • I know, I really want 2.2 with app2SD function, and I don't care about 2.3...(maybe I really like Froyo and hate Gingerbread!) I can get an XT300 in China for US$200, unlock without contract, which sounds tempting, except the 2.1 part.

  • Sorry, I meant factory reset.

  • Did you try master reset?

  • Not bad on a cheap budget, however the phone screen breaks and cracks very easy. Had two phones it's time to switch to another model. Other then that it works well.

  • how do you turn on 3G?

  • yes you can slide to answer. i do it everyday! :)

  • Can anyone succesfully use Skype?

  • Anyone knows if XT300 is upgradable???

  • I have a XT300 that was given to me.But the friend that gave it to me used it for a week and his telephone is still in the phone even when I puy my sim card in it. What should I do to get my card to work in the phone?

  • I must say, this is cool phone. cheap budget. very comfortable and quick system. I love the compass in it. I just need to upgrade to 2.2

  • This phone does not have motoblur, or does it?

  • Just both LG Optimus One / P500, great battery life, touch screen responsive - $150 from Koodo (Telus) Canada - unlocked for $5 - key supplied from ebay.uk.So far very happy, except playing videos - but that has probably more to do with OS and WiFi very weak and slow.

  • No you can't slide to open to answer calls

  • to anonymess. did you do a 14h enitial charge, and charge it on a scedual for 8h? or do you let it tell you when to charge? i get 10 to 12h of life and i listen to the mp3 player all day at work and on the bus, when im not working im also playing a game, usualy online (with the mp3) this battery last longer than any other 8v had

  • call me naive, what does 3G phones require front cam?

  • So can you confirm one cannot "slide open" the keyboard to answer call (like most slide phones)?

  • Yeah, I'm using it with Mobilicity in Canada for about a week now and it's worked well for me so far. Everything people are saying about the small battery life is true, but I usually just use the phone after hours or when I'm commuting. Oh, are you looking for a review of Mobilicity or of the phone?

  • Ive had the motorola spice for about 3 weeks from mobilicity its very laggy even though it has a faster processer than iphone 3g its not as intuitive ither you get what you pay for i guess watching video is terrible the camera is horrible and the worst part of all is the battery which doesent last even half a day definetly a step down from my old phone the iphone 3g im thinking about the nexus or sony xperia if your thinking about getting this phone and you've had a good smart phone in the past simply don't waste the time or the money you will be disappointed on the other hand if you never had a smartphone prior it would be a step up (but a plan with mobilicity where it aloows you unlimited everything this phone dosent cut it)

  • Here 2 review.. hope it will help you

  • Anyone using this phone on Mobilicity in Canada, and could give a user review on it?

  • This thing takes VGA video but has a QVGA screen resolution? How's the screen resolution for general web browsing, by the way?

  • can gsmarena review this handset.? we wil get to know whether its value for money or not since this may be cheaper adroid in market.

  • Excellent form factor (my ideal actually), but QVGA on a 3-inch screen??!! No thanks.

  • Will there be an upgrade to Android 2.2???

  • Actually, it does have a GPU on it, but for some weird reason Motorola decided not to include drivers for it, and thus, it is disabled. Go figure...

  • HI there thanks for your post, Just wanted to know have this phone been launched in india, can i get it in delhi. how much does it cost. please let me know, i have ckhed many place they say its not been launched in india yet. thnks

  • it needs the adobe portable pdf reader, which is like 4mb on internal memory

  • does it read pdfs? or needs a software? is java software or android software? :) thx in advance :)

  • Thanks. As I often drive, personally I still find opening the flip/slide easier than "watch" at the touchscreen phone and slide to the right....

  • In this model front camera not available, how to 3G

  • is this also called the Motorola Sesame?

  • answering calls on it is just like unblocking your phone You slide your finger to the right to answer, and to the left to refuse

  • In case you don't know.... Moto "used to" provide both a charger and a micro-USB cable, the latter good for both charging and data transfer. iphone (given it costs 2~3 times more than most Moto Android phones) started to offer "single cable only" in the industry...just the data cable capable of charging. As the European Community agreed on adapting the micro-USB standard, most other phones using the micro-USB plug would only come with one data cable which is also good for charging. BTW, did you get your phone in US? I bought one phone from AT&T and yikes, it really came with the phone and charger only. Nothing else! Where I live all Moto phones come with at least the headsets, if not data cable, memory card, and most shops would offer screen protectors, extra (non-original) battery and charging cradle....free of charge.

  • Well, this should be a "low end" (by today's standard) Android phone, which costs around US$280 in China (unlock without contract), so not much should be expected. As I don't own one, may I ask as if you can slide open to answer / slide close to end calls? I drive quite often and is a bit hard to dial / answer calls on most Android touchscreen phones, thanks.

  • Gave it a trial run and found it to be great, but its not to my taste. Couldn't find a case, and the phone feels like it'll slip out of my hands at any moment. Having the needed install disk in the phone is nice, but w/o autoplay I didn't know about it for days. Browsing wasn't a clean experience for me and the BACKTRACK feature is both awkward and interesting. I'd suggest this phone for more business than pleasure. Youtube on HD on the spice is = to LQ on the higher end phones. And the processor might limit you from some games due to lag etc. That said, Gmail was superb so if you're all about business this thing will get you where you want to go. If you want entertainment too, invest a bit more $$ for something you'll keep down the road.

  • alguien sabe si tiene motoblur??? gracias

  • i like bb but i love moto and moto can take mare of a beatin so moto 10 and bb 8

  • Hello Moto,,, Could you please tell me where can I get you!!!,,, I'm a big fan of Motorola since..V8088, V3, A1200 but now... Its hardly to find "Motorola Spice" I really want to buy this Cellphone...I love the way you do "Motorola" - Crystal talk - OMG!!! I really love it... Ps, I'm in Thailand (It's a country in Souteast Asia if anyone need to know)

  • I bought my spice and i love it! I was trying hard to find a memory card and screen protectors and found the best deals at , so if your looking for either of those or other stuff that site has the best accessories!

  • It is good for fast messaging and browsing the battery life is ok and the features are just as nice Dont play 3d games on it, it doesnt have 3d accelerator I recommend for people looking for messaging and email phone, with nice internet browsing and nice multimedia quality as well

  • this is realy uniqe phone and best in this class realy unrivaled in this class

  • I have brought phone and it is GREAT for it's price. Also you can buy accessories for motorola spice from:

  • how to get its user manuel...im not able to use this phone...how did u liked this phone ..honestly tell me ?/????

  • some one tell me how to get its user manuel...im nt able 2 use this phone ??....and how much is the exact batter back up and in evry button i push ..it vibrates on...how to turn it off to save more battery !!!

  • what is the price of this one in India and when it will be available

  • I have bought it yesterday and I have almost the same comment about the micro USB.I mean motorola acted cheap here. The features and other things are awesome (though the space and ease of use cant beat iphone but iphone b*st*rds are selling it out of data plans cause they get paid by those companies again cheap tactics that made me look for alternate and i stumbled upon this phone) except the software is either slower or two fast...lol..I might have to get used to it.Though im gonna use it with a company that gave everything unlimited and no contract. That was the main reason i bought it. I would give 7/10 but should have given lower(sob's making me buy another microcable...suckers)

  • I should point out - in reply to my last post - the battery is the SAME ONE they've had since around 2000. This batter is only 3.7V, 1100mAh, which is used in many of their "dumbphones". I'm waiting for Seidio do release a larger battery - yes, with a new back cover - to make up for Motorola's screw up.

  • Battery is garbage - I get maybe 3-4.5 hours of heavy internet/game use out of it. On my Touch Pro 2, or HTC Snap, I'd get 6.5-8 hours ... also, since it's "micro" USB instead of "mini", and didn't come with an extra cable, I have to go out and buy one. C'mon Moto, cables don't cost much, you would have included a computer cable with the phone (My cost will be $3, Moto's would have been $0.03). I'd give it a 6/10 mainly based on the battery sucking big time.

  • much beter than bb tourch

  • Low end handset,but.such a good batt.backup.(7.45)

  • Or type the following in Google Translate! Setting -> Language & Keyboard -> Select Locale

  • look at your manual and just follow the process of changing the language you might not understand the words but the icons will help you. or find a spanish speaking friend...

  • Anyone please help me how to change lanuage from spanish to english for motorola spice.

  • the price in $199 CAD

  • Afterall, this phone is an Android phone costing below US$300....guess one can't really expect that much.

  • I´ve got this smartphone about 3 days ago.Solid construction (by the way this phone has been developed in Brazil), excellent features, android 2.1 eclair, but be careful: battery is veeeery weak. Nothing more than 7 hours of intense usage. I had moto quench, and I can say its battery is better, much better than the spice.Oh, I almost missed: spundspeaker is very low too.

  • But anyway I think the price is worth it!

  • Just got this phone for 240$ on www.taobao.com without contract. My first impression. The screen display seems to be a drawback, not sharp. Battery looks also weak. Others are good, but not that much impressive in my opinion.

  • beter than all bb phones well done moto

  • Just released this weekend in China with the "global" 3G WCDMA frequency (SGM2100) for around US$280 unlock without contract. Now I can forget to get one thru stupid AT&T...

  • Any news about a future update to Froyo 2.2 ??

  • opa! This phones "hasn't" MOTOBLUR.

  • Guys, I think the design is more likely a PALM PRE than BB Torch. i like this design very much :D

  • Hello Moto, no hard feelings When Motorola copie a BB phone again, i will make a comment!!!

  • If so, then you should ask your beloved BB to stop making touchscreen phones, as Moto started the touchscreen business in year 2000. Or just any mobile phone....where Moto already started making mobile phones in early 80's...when BB probably didn't even exist.

  • MOTO MOTO i see you are completely brainwashed in motorola, who has the Full QWERTY keyboard,YEARS B4 BB Motorola? i don't think so. Moto Moto respect the double BB, the triple O (mOtOrOla)i a good phone but please respect the double BB. bye bye Moto Moto

  • much beter than bb phones well done moto

  • Can you all please STOP talking about BB and post a opinion about the Motorola Spice. I like this one and NOT a BB.

  • all these are low end android fones from moto so you can except only this much no were they are mentioning this as business fones so no comparison with BB.. compare BB with DROID PRO

  • the first making mobile phone in the world. others just follow.. so don't bash moto but love moto .

  • Then you should ask BB to stop making flip/touchscreen phones, as Moto had phones with such design YEARS B4 BB.

  • Motorola you had your time back in the 90 when BlackBerry was just a fruit but now you have to respect the double BB please dont copy the style of the number one phone: BlackBerry

  • How can any BB compete with Moto's voice quality then? Its Crystal Talk offers the BEST voice quality in the industry and for years still being UNMATCHED by anyone else in the industry. If you don't talk on the phone, just get a tablet or labtop.

  • wow if people were bashing the bb torch this phone lacks in just too many features. Even if they were the same... how can you really beat bb's at their qwerty keyboard. Sorry Motorola, focus more on Droid like models.

  • So u expect every design should have only one model and from one company? Thats communist.

  • in 3g no avilevel 900 MHz this is not for many indian 3g service providers and no varchual ABCDE key pad

  • It looks sleek, cute and has most likable features. I should get one of those. How do you handle shipping to other continents ie Africa?

  • veryyyyyyyyy good keyboard

  • UGH Motoblur, and the screen is way too small. This isn't like the Torch, it's like the Palm Pre which has been out for 3 years but now suddenly everyone wants to put a device out like that (blame RIM for that).

  • This phone actually reminds me the Karma QA1 released earlier by Moto, except this time the Spice supports worldwide 3G with Android, can't wait to get one. (sold my Karma mainly due to it only works on 2G network where I live)

  • I think this one low end smartphone.

  • Looks like blackberry tourch 9800. I like it. Needs to have some hardware upgrades. But it's a low end android product which should be more affordable. If an up dated version comes out. Then surely I will buy it. Love this style the best!

  • Very Nice Low end phone.

  • They seem to be mimicking the Palm Pre with this phone and the Pixi with the other they just announced, not that I'm complaining or anything.

  • Very nice!
