my husband ordered me a gold Nokia 7370, what I received was a brown one and the box was all crushed the phone was not in a new condition, there was no cover for the phone or the decorative charms that was with my pink 7373, I had that one for years brilliant phone, and I was just updating it to a gold colour, so disappointed, my husband has returned the phone. as I was advised by the firm that I could sent it back if I was not happy with it, as I was reading the instructions for the brown phone, it said look up page 88, but there was only 31 pages in the book, I think he got it through Amazon.

guyz and galz... its really v good phone..i bought it in 2006 and its still working, the screen resolution is v good and could b compared with recent nokia phones, i bought the extended batery which gives nice 1 day battery life for people having RESTRICTION CODE problem just change your sim card because it is not supporting newer 64k sim cards, yes its v difficult to get new housing (and much difficult to get it changed) but i managed and its my 3rd casing(choclate brown)... i still own this phone,beside my htc diamond.. no problems at all, pc suite runs smoothly and its fun to use sms app on pc, if it continues to work.. i hope it will become collectible item.. lol

I had three of this l'amour phone, 7360, 7370 and 7380, and i love it, design is different, 7360 i gave to my brother, 7380 lost, and only 7370 in my hand, and the problem is the screen has broken because my fault, the question is, would nokia realese this phone again, couse if nokia would realese this three of l'amour, even same feature and same everything, i would buy three of l'amour, i mean five of l'amour because there's 2 colour of 7360 and 7370 (warm amber and coffe brown) it's because the design to make head turn, would you Nokia..... I love this phone! It lasted for more than 3 years till it started shuting off on me. I changed the battery, it did not help. All the people I know had this phone had the same problem. But to have for almost 4 years it is a good deal.

I'm using it and I rate 8/10 overall. It'd be much better if memory slots were available. The lack of storage is really disappointing. I suggest Nokia 7373, the upgrade of 7370, which support memory cards up to 2GB and also including a music player. However, a Nokia s40v3 like this is anyway fine.

Have had nothing but problems with this one. It kept on resetting itself, even after I had it sent back to the repair center, even after they gave me a complete new phone. But I still regret that I had to buy a new one. This phone has the best design ever! Great user interface and everything. Only downside: not a lot of memory, with no option of enlarging it. But overall I'm glad I had this one! Anyway maybe the 7373 is a better option now? (same features, but more memory...)

I had this phone for exactly 3 weeks. My husband's neice dropped it on the carpeted floor no less on the 3rd day I had it and it got broken. I would never buy ths phone again. My neice is just around 3 or 4 ft tall so the drop wasn't that bad.

I went on Ebay and you can buy batteries for under $10 I have bought a desk top charger and 2 name brand batteries for under$12.00 including shipping. A single battery is $5 ish including shipping I carry mine in a small coin purse or my hard eyeglasses case It is great. I only wish that the phone did have a slot for a memory card.

Ive had this phone for two years now.. it looks totally awesome and everyone absolutely loves it.. i even get a lil shy to bring it out koz everyone jst gushes over it!! only problem is that the battery life SUX!!! duzint last a whole day i always have to bring a back up phone with me when im out and about. also no expandable memory or infared port.. like why wouldnt you add those key factors to a brand new phone? its the 21st century mate! and the gold on the front is PAINT its not in the cover so it chips. iv bought a new faceplate for it.. i want to try putting clear nail polish on it to preserve the paint.. im kinda scared to try tho.. any advice?? thanx!

this phone is attractive but the advantages stop there! the battery life really really sucks and dies quickly!! the phone really doesnt take charge and u always have to be wiggling the cord bt i wasted so muh money on this phone that i keep it an use it as an accessory for my outfits lol, but otherwise if im using it, i always have to walk with a spear phone incase of emergencies. i got this phone in russia on 4 my bday in aug.2006. very cool cause i am bilingual and this phone that i got had 2 languages on keyboard. works in USA just fine. with t-Mobile. has a total of 5 languages. love it. wish i can get extra memory into it. now that 7373 came out that does have external memory i will buy that one-transfer all my stuff, but i absolutely love this color so i bought a full face-plate on ebay and will placed that on it. NO one will notice. I just hate the pink color and wont stand it. So far i have looked at many phones to switch to but none have even come close to all the capabilities of this phone. all the options for Contacts, camera, video, beeing able to make and rename my own folders. and to move pics and music to different folders. i connect it to my lap top by blue tooth to transfer things to make more room.

it's a cute phone - unfortunately that's about it! the charger is crap - you do have to wiggle it with lots of patience to get it to charge and often it just stops so you have to "supervise" and adjust it to make sure it keeps on charging.. :\ I need to keep two batteries because one runs out after not even a day - and I make maybe 1-2 phone calls a day that are about 5 mins each!..that's just unacceptable because I could imagine most people talking way more so it would have to be recharged several times a day..and that again with allot of hassle!! Also, both of my batteries I've been using for about 6 months now and one of them I cannot even get to charge at all anymore! other than that (which is already enough for me to never buy this phone again or recommend it to anyone!) - the memory as often stated is superlow! so in the end all you're paying for is pretty much a gimmick - not quality!

it sounds like you may have purchased a used phone that was water damaged, when a phone it water damaged the warranty is voided so who ever sold it to you probably was just trying to dump it and get some cash for it since they had to buy a new one anyways. if you have insurance on the phone you can file a claim for it but your deductable will probably be more than the phone is worth

ive had this phone for about 7 months now, and its amazing! its beautiful and really draws attention. the only complaints i have are about the memory- it cant store much- and the fact that the volume is a little funny my outside volume button has never worked. its incredibly durable for such a fragile looking phone though, and the fact that you can substitute videos for your ringtone and screen saver is absolutely incredible!

Hi ive had this phone for over a year! It is the hottest little phone ive owned and all are jealous of it-boys and girls due to its wicked designs and 360 degree swivel! Memory i crap tho!i can store up to 1500 long text(which is wicked) but when it comes to pics and vids it can't handle much and no expandable memory either! my screen is starting to loosen up now but the phone itself has lasted ages now!Love this phone still..oh and the crappy battery only lasts 1 !/2 days if that!

I loved this phone, and really wanted it. I called my provider who is cell 1 (at&t) and they said it would be fine. So I got it today and put my sim in it and nothing. My husband finally got it to work for receiving calls and making calls but I have no idea how to set it up and that's what it seems to want me to do. I've had the phone for almost two years now. It's been a pretty decent phone. It's very customizable and cute. Other than the front, the phone doesn't scratch. I would've preferred more MP for the camera and more memory, since I'm always running low - you can store about 60 pictures and 1 full song, and that'll take up all the space, so you won't have room for anything else. Overall, it's been good.

I have had this phone for about a year now. I do love the design and it has the basic features that I want like alarm, calendar and calculator. The only major problem I have with the phone is that the battery dies really fast. I ended up buying 2 more batteries and the life is the same. Now I joke around saying I have to "Reload" my phone with another battery. Oh, also the memory really sucks. I don't have really anything stored on this phone.. I have like 2 songs, 7 pictures and 200 text messages? It's really pretty bad, plus you can't even add more memory to it. But overall, if you're not some super gadget freak and just wants a phone for regular use or have a passion for being different, get this phone. I get compliments for it all the time. :)

love this nokia phone!! i have the pink one, the radio is the best. i dont think i can ever get used to another one, the only bad thing is that i have bad reception at store all the time and it takes a while to come back.

I bought this phone in september '06, and still i am happy with it.. i love the design and the themes you can download for it. however i think everyone knows this phone and its a old one, i still receive compliments.. Anyway i dont have problems with my battery.. i can do on average 3 days with my battery and im listening 1 hour a day to the radio... however i would like to buy the nokia n95,, but now im still happy with my nokia 7370 amber :)

to not get the "some text missing" thing, dont open yr message too quickly when u receive it. that is, dont open it straightaway, as the phone is quite laggy. (: hope tt helps. i used to get the same problem too. oh u can open the message again after exiting to get the full message. :D

my 7370 committed suicide recently. haha. but tt was after i had droppped it for at least 20-30 times. the last one tt caused its ddeath was a pretty hard knock. haha. i dont find the battery much of a problem, maybe cos i dont use much. but the memory is real bad ya. 11mb. -.- oh gd point is that the phone is sturdy. it doesnt spoil unless it's a really bad drop.

i love the design factor of this phone, but not so much the interface. i still think that samsung beats out the user-friendly quality. also, the battery life is a lot shorter than what i expected. dropped it a couple times, still worked fine. until recently, so now i have a cheap replacement. i miss this phone :(

It's really art, so if you're love art i recomended this phone, it's rare, unique, and much pretty, see the world in a simple way, i've got coffe brown and it's sexy. As you know, this Collection had beautiful website wich has stoped, why nokia? The website is very beautiful with special L'amour desktop, i used on my laptop, the great wallpaper with excellent animation, and i keep that desktop wallpaper for everyone who love this l'amour collection.

I just bought this phone on Tuesday and I really love it. The design no doubt beats most other phones. I couldn't imagine a guy with the gold one though... Anywhoo, the service is great, the ease of use is great(as with most Nokias), and I love the camera. I mostly use the phone for texting and it is great for that. I am, like most people, disappointed with the battery life. It never lasts me a full day so I have to carry my charger with me everywhere I go. I also don't like the fact that you cannot lock the phone with a code aside from the SIM code. I hate that anyone can pick up my phone and just access whatever I have stored. Aside from that, the phone is wonderful for me (and a real head-turner!). If anyone is considering buying this, I recommend it and advise that you buy it from replaceacell.com or cell2get.com

this phone works for gsm networks. basically any netowrk that uses sim cards like at&t, tmobile, etc. i've had this phone for about 15 months now. it's a pretty good phone, but like all other complaints, the memory is pretty bad. Everything is very customizable and it's a beautiful phone. the back and the sides don't scratch, but the front does, so protect it, otherwise your phone'll look like mine. Overall, love this phone and I'd recommend it. :)

i have a 7370 for abt a year and a half alr. i think its pretty durable, i have been dropping the phone for more than 20 times it works fine after that. [tho i recently smashed it {totally} to the floor and it conked out] i must say that the memory is bad tho. but contrary to the rest of the reviews, i think the battery is fine. First of all , this phone is great. But although alot of you were complaining about the memory and the battery , you waste the battery , and memory. I don't think you will have more over than 2 pics a day or more than 10 ringtones. Be greatful you've got a nice mobile + Remember that the battery is an advantage. Probably most of you think that the battery wastes everything up when you play a game or maybe have a 1 hour talk with a friend or whatever but the Battery - Is part of the colours too . Leaving you mobile turned on a day , it will waste a bit on the battery cause of the colours. This is not a baby nokia, remember. I don't know what to say but I apsouloutley not buy a phone which I make sure it has enough memory to put songs on to look preety , sexy , styling and sizzling near my friends XD So please remember that okay ? I loved this phone when I got it since most of the features initially seemed fantastic. However, it frequently freezes during calls and thus drops them. In addition, it has no reception when other phones with the same service do and is not compatible for MP3/AAC music file transfer via Nokia PC Suite as claimed by the manufacturer. DO NOT buy this phone. It's a waste of money if you intend to use your phone to make calls.

I have had this phone now for about 6 months and I can say I truly love it. It can handle abuse. Cameras ok and so are the videos. As far as the memory that everyone is complaining about, i havn't had a problem with it at all. But then again I don't take 1000 pictures and alot of videos. As long as you keep it under control you'll be fine. Vibration is good but the sound could get a little lounder. But yeah I recomend this phone and when you get it be ready for strangers to ask and see it cas it's just that cool.

I was so excited about getting this phone...i love nokias and this phone is no exception. Iv had this phone 4 about 3 months now. As with all nokias the ease of use cannot b compared with any other brand. There are a few let downs to this phone tho and that is, the phone's 1.3 mp camera isnt that gr8 esp compared with my brothers sony ericson model which also has a 1.3mp camera or my friend's v3i. The memory is disappointing, it can hold no more than 20 photos! and the placing of the camera lens isnt that gr8 as your finger gets in the way. BUT the swivel design is very fab and the design is absolutely amazing..i get compliments wherever i go! So if u love nokias and fashion, and dont really use ur phone 4 photos then this is totally the phone 4 u!

this is a real spankin' phone in terms of design, esp with the one in coffee brown. i had that phone but the memory was really lousy. i mean, 10mb? you have GOT to be kidding. if this phone had expandable memory and mp3 function it'd be sure to get loads of people buying it. the 7373 may not have as appealing a design, but the functions for the 7373 are much better, so i would personally advise EVERYONE to get this phone's uglier but smarter sister. Ive had this phone 4 5mnths now. Just this weekend, the main menu button fell off and the phone keeeps switching off. And the memory...i can never store more than 7 songs. I love this phone alot. I've had it now for about 8 mths and it still looks as good as the day i got it. I always put it in its little velvet pouch when its in my bag but if i chuck it in my pocket i leave it out. Great looking phone, never had a phone thats gotten so many comments : )Good size too as its not too heavy and its a smallish size, granted not a small as some on the market but still small. I'd def rec this phone but am a bit miffed about the upgrade to pink and the memory on the 7373 so soon after this phone was released. ebay sell spare covers for this phone in the gold colour. you would need to ask your nearest mobile phone shop at your shopping centre about the cost of changing the cover over, they will always do it for you but how much im not sure!

DON'T BUY!! I received it for Christmas...and it was purchased off of Ebay...that maybe the problem. The screen cracks really easily...and no I didn't drop it. last week my phone fell in the washing machine and took a spin. i fished it out, removed the battery and let it dry for a couple of days, and it worked perfectly well again! i've had it for more than a year, and its a great phone, really. pretty on the outside, excellent screen,a good camera, comfortable keypad and survives a swim in soapy water.

i got this phone a few months ago and all i have to say is IT ROCKS!! it is fashionable yet simple. it may only have 10MB but if ur like me and u only need 1 or 2 songs on ur cell for a ring tone and all the rest for picture and videos then ur good. when i need space i just bluetooth my pics and videos to my computer and delete them off my cell. so if ur interest in this cell i say buy it u will not be disappointed. (if u need more memory them buy the nokia 7373) this is what i call a perfect cell phone!!

I have had this phone and it is dissapointing. If you just want a fashion phone,with basic text and pretty average photos, then go ahead and get it, although I think it is quite cumbersome and weighty. The memory isn't great and it scratches up easily. Can't wait to get a new phone and would definately not recommend.

Does anybody know why the camera feature is automatically turn on, on this phone? I can't turn it off and then the keypad just freezes and I can't use the phone at all. The phone automatically finds the available networks. You can go to manual an it will find all available. Then you can pick the one you want. But if you put a Cingular SIM card, and Cingular transmits on 1900 MHz in your area, the phone will detect it and will work fine.

Will this phone work on the 1900mhz network for cingular. I read somewhere that you can go into settings and switch to 1900 and the Cingular format will be able to work. Does anybody know?

I work for cingular and of course we sell Nokia phones. Almost all Nokia phones are Tri Band phones. Tri Band phones do work on Cingular wireless. It has nothing to do with Cingular's Network. This phone was made to use on T-Mobile's network. It has more to do with the company the makes for phone and what company they make the phone for! All phones don't work on all networks no matter what the band. Please don't get your a reveiw about cingular if you have no clue what you're talking about.

I have had this phone for a week now and i was worried about the battery and the memory, but its all good, the first charge i charged for about 6 hours, and it did no last for long only about 24 hours, but the 2nd charge i used a different charger my brothers 6280 charger and it lasted heaps longer! about 4 days, so in my opinion i think that the 7370 charger is a dodgy one because everytime i charge with the 6280 charger it lasts longer than when i charge it with the charger that came with it, but this could just be a coincidence, and for the memory i just changed the bit rate of songs that put on there and i can fit about 10 songs if i dont change the bit rate u can only fit about 1 or 2, in the end its a really really awsome phone!!

I got this phone too but guess what, Cingular carries only fat ugly phones that work on the 850 network. the Nokia 7370 is a tri band phones and works on 1800, 1900 and 900 or something like that. that is why it does not work with Cingular. no other network carrier operates on 850, that is why the nokia phone works with T mobile. basically gfet out of your contract and go to another carrier. I have to buy a new phone now and am having trouble findind an attractive one that works on the 850 network. if anyone knows of any phones that are sexy and work on this network, let me know. for everyone else, do not get cingular they suck

I've had this phone for about 6 months now and haven't had any problems. I have never been big on putting MP3's and taking tons of videos and pictures so the memory size is just perfect for me. The only problem I've noticed with this phone is that when I do take a picture, it would freeze for a minute until I can take another. i didn't read all the opinions but i think they are almost all the same.I have this phone for over 4 months and i hadn't any problem with him;not because i'm not using it too much i'm just takeing care of him.Indeed he didn't worth the 450 $ but i thinf he is a good one although the memory isn't too big.

this phone...purest crap ever! i saw it the first time, (yes it was pretty & the featurs are quite normal) but i still got it anyways. that was the biggest mistake! by that time, i got it for 475. i got ripped off. bad. the memory is very low. 10mb. i mean..cmon!! all i was able to store was a couple of ringtones..reception is not that bad (since i was fido) but my friend who has rogers, complains abt it all the time. this phone is really not worth it. the keypard looks really cheap..and in the back, where the vinyl thing looks really cheap. all i can say is that it's a good looking phone but it's not worth it. nice try nokia but..euhh not worth it. next phone...lg kg800 !

what a shame that such a pretty phone only lasts a couple of months before crashing... am getting " insert sim card" and " no network coverage". apparently it cannot be repaired, been at the repair shop for 2 months now and am not hopefull... bad move Nokia

I bought this phone after seeing adds on uk tv it took me 4 months to find it for sale in ireland. cost €400 sim free as none of the networks here have picked it up. was fine at the start, sure enough as the other comments said it started to freeze up, started with insert sim card, my sim card was in it!!! then for no reason it just stopped receiving any signal, i have given up now and think there is no way nokia should still be selling this phone when they must be aware of the faults. the fact that is happening in many different countrys is an indication that there is something seriously wrong.

i bought this phone 5 months ago n it broke down within 2 months of heavy usage.which is stupid cos i thought nokia phones are most durable among all other brands.so nokia had to be blatant idiots to erase every single thing on my phone when i sent it for repair.so newaes,here's sum things bout the phone... pros: -bloody goodlooking -just the right size for my hands -swivel mechanism extremely sturdy -excellent screen -very comfortable keypad -fast when interchanging between applications. cons: -memory is just plain horrible. -camera is ok.but very grainy even when zoomed a little. -batt life goes berserk.sumtimes i can go on for 4 days without charging and sumtimes for less than a day.all with heavy usage. i am keen on changing to a new phone but so far, many phones do not have a good display and even if it did, it doesnt look as slick as the 7370.so until then, i just have to close an eye on its flaws.

Hi, I just got my phone today and as far i love it. I bought it at ebay for much less that what neiman marcus sells it for. Although had problems with the seller, since it was incomplete, it did not came with the little cute pouch (wich I know that must come with it since I bought my sister one month ago) and it also must include a hanging strap.So if you are considering ebay please be sure that you'll get the whole deal, believe me it makes a difference. Pretty-looking phone, but very short battery life. Only 24hrs!!!! Poor reception quite often,low memory, number of bars suddenly drops for no apparent reason. Didn't experience same problem with my old phone. Wish I hadn't bought this one. Not worth the price at all. It's such a shame!!!

All the other features are great but the memory is quite low, only 10 mb... Strange that there is no card slot. 10 mb isn't enough for mp3, pictures and video.

It's definitely the prettiest phone ever!!! Everyone is asking me about it, I really love it, even the swivel that felt akward in the beginning is now the easiest move for me. The only thing that I would like is a better camera and extra memory, but you can't have it all in life! I recomend it without a hesitation to everyone.

i have this phone not enough memory and after 6 months the battery only lasts 2 days before going dead with the factory settings and i only use it for the alarm clock yet again proof that nokia is too involved in making 6 new phones every year to make a phone that lasts for more than 6 months

really disappointed from the time I got the phone in July-memory is insufficient after I deleted majority of info on phone and there's definately something wrong with the message details when you receive sms's the time given is 2 hrs before it was sent to you and battery life is ridiculously short.Really love Nokia and its user-friendliness but absolutely diappointed with this phone

As far as your NO SIGNAL issue did you know Cingular uses in some areas 850MGh signals ? and this phone is NOT a QUAD band, which means it does not have 850MHz AND 900MHz... i think that's what you're experiencing ? did you ask Cingular what kind of phone you should get before you bought this phone ?

i too, was seduced by the sexiness of this phones appearance & listed features...i dont need anything too advanced, but i found that being stylish only lasted so long as it became increasingly dissapointing w/ the battery lasting barely 1.5 days, (my car charger conection shorted after 2 months, too) strange reception quirks (im on TMobile)...calls dropped & more so, complaints from others as to how i sounded to them...while callers sounded ok on my end. complaints of echoing, distortion & comlete inability to hear me talking and constantly having to repeat yourself. i got the web function to only work for browsing nokias download site..which really gave crappy options for themes and wallpapers. hard to keep it classy, i guess. no way to upgrade memory, which would help if you wanted to take massively more pics or upload a lot of mp3s or ringtones. Otherwise, i liked the way this phone felt in my hand, the ease of calling & texting & uploading mp3s was a snap. picturemessaging was easy, sending & receivng & installing all settings for browsing/email/MMSwere a simple set up on nokias websitebluetooth connectivity was always great for synching my calendar w/ my computer, or with a headset. The camera was great & took many sharp wonderful pics for me, & i loved the zoom function. speaking of headset, the included earphone/headset is just...some sort of cruel joke. Needless to say, im re-selling it & i hope if one of my friends buys it from me, they dont hate me.

Hey everyone! I found the solution for the color problem for anyone who wants to keep the awesome shade of Warm Amber. For the new one that is coming out (the 7373), I found out that you can actually buy the face cover and back cover and replace it with what you've got. Just go to ebay and search for it. Here is an example: I know its kind of sappy that I was having trouble choosing between the 7370 and the 7373 just because of color, but I really was looking for more of a fashion phone anyway. I REALLY wanted the warm amber and the new pink and bronze black were not appealing to my tastes. So, I did some reason and discoverd that it might be possible to just change the hardware to the phone, while keeping the features for the new release that is coming out. I was leaning more towards the 7373 since it contains more memory and features than the older version. Since I don't think they didn't change much on the dimensions, the change of face plates will greatly help. That is what I want to do anyway. I haven't tried it myself yet, though, so if anyone does please let me know if it really does work. I shall try it myself here soon once they release the 7373. *Gets anxious* Hope this information helps some people. ^_^

My god, am i the only sane person here!! This phone, granted looks fabulous but its rubbish!! Ive had it for 4 months and am sick of the problems which are, the battery lasts 2 days if you dont use it much, the bluetooth connection is rubbish you can never pick up other handsets, they have to connect to you, the network coverage/pickup is rubbish (at least on Orange), it wont tell you when you have an answerphone message and the memory is so small you can fit 3 songs and a couple of pictures and its full, looks can be deceiving ladies, dont bother! Glad they dont make them anymore, buy an N series Nokia, apparently they are really good!!

ive post here before. ok....read carefully. im a music fanatic. for people putting mp3's on the phone. the reason your mp3 is like 3 or 4 MB's big is because of the BIT RATE. on windows media player, in the library, theres al option to show BIT RATE (same menu as song title, amlbum, artist)...songs are usually 128kbps. the bigger the bit rate number, the bigger the file. u CAN compress (lower the bit rate) and make the song smaller. note that quality is sacrificed. ive fit about 10 songs on my phone with space left over. other options...GET AN MP3 PLAYER its a phone for crying out loud!

i just got this phone yesterday, and i DON'T regret buying it. although i found out the memory space was small, i found out that it's because when you take a picture, your settings set it to 800x600! change it so it's smaller. before when you took a picture at 800x600, it was about 94KB, and thats a LOT for a picture. i changed it to 160xsomething and it was only 4kb. makes a difference, no? and some of the ringtones that are already on it are 95 kb and stuff. delete those, you can put REAL music on there, and its only 4kb per song! yeah, so we might have a lot of memory space, just delete all those not needed. (btw, the game is 235 kb???) anyways, the phone is COOL and good.

I think the phone is very pretty, but I wouldn't spend over $200 (U.S) for a cellphone. You can get a lot cheaper phone, probably with better features for less money, even if it isn't for style. I would love the phone, but not for the price.

I was pretty much attracted by the appeal of the phone but am disappointed coz' beauty is only skin deep. The phone keeps re-booting itself and switches itself off and i cant even switch it on again. i had to send it for repairs and after they repaired it, just the same day, the same problem re-occurred. I'm a cingular user and got this phone few days ago. The voice mail icon is driving me nuts. At first, the VM icon is not showing up after I received a voicemail. Now, I am able to see the VM icon and I'm not able to get rid of it after deleteing all voicemail.

I purchased the nokia 8801 (one of the most exquist phones ever, said to be made of the same metal they use on BMW cars) I bought it in Asia before it came out in the US, it is great but the volume is a tad bit too low....recently i went to a Nokia customer service shop to program my multi media functions and i came upon the 7370, i fell in love, it is so pretty and small, i love the design on the amber one, it is so girlie, i am a big electronic buff but i like small and sleek and as a girl i definately like pretty, this phone is sooooooo pretty, it is loud, the bluetooth is excellent, and the camera function is impeccable, when you hole it side ways to use the camera, the screen is so big it actually looks like a mintaure digital camera....great colors...i love both my nokias!!!! 7370 is a fine phone. the asthetic is beautiful. however the memory is too low.. the specs say 10MB but i found out that mine actually had 12MB which is interesting. The 2" QVGA display is superb. never seen better. camera is average 1.3MP but nokia has been playin around abit this time with the display, they have set the display to automatically adjust and reduce "noise" from the camera which makes the photo look quality alot higher than it actually is. when uploaded onto computer the normal noise and a slight green tint can be seen. stero speakers are OK, but the frequency tolerance is poor compared to some other phones. speakers are loud enough. the actual features and interface is very simple. user friendly. headset speaker is not convinient to use. phone lacks memory, so sometimes phone will freeze durin larger games, eg. worms with sound on. cant play alot of 3D games which bothered me abit. lol swivel design is quite stylish, however it is very fragile. i've dropped mine a few days ago and now it turns off by itself sometimes. overall the phone is all for visuals. the features are quite normal, but if you just want a nice lookin phone then this one is there to impress and wont embarass you at all.

I've had th3 7370 for 4 months now. Very pleased! Think it's a great looking phone! My phone could store over 2200 messages (600 in Inbox, and over 1600 in Sent Items)! Over 50 full quality pictures and 15 full quality Videos!! I thought the memory would let me down, but not at all! Very impressive for only 10MB of memory I felt. Only after being dropped accidentally several times has it had any problems, and many did it have. It's off at Nokia being repaired at the moment, but the sreen kept going blank white whilst being used, couldn't receive any text messages, phone died during voice calls, loud screech sound when connected calls.. etc. etc. Hopefully it will be repaired and I'll have it working again soon... Missing it dearly! Apart from the minor problems listed above due to physical damage, this is a great and funky looking phone that i'd recommend to anyone! Ta!

Nokia 7370 is one amazing phone. I have the chocolate brown...WOW... It was a birthday present and I got to choose between this and a LG G262...The LG had a mp3 player but looked like a childrens toy.. This phone has style, a certain finesse.. And its a Nokia so i know it will last me...And to all you people complaining about the lack of memory, theirs a superb radio and a certain piece of technology called the blood USB cable....

i have this phone and it's very nice 10mb isnt that low using 3gp converter i can put up to 3 video clip in this phone and a awesome themes beside that i dont really think i need memory for anything else in this phone, and iono if this really work but i usually add pictre to caller then delete the picture but when friend call the picture still there maybe this could help to save a little memory

just got this phone not long ago, few comments to make. it's basically a stylish phone. it's NOT a female phone (cuz i'm 100% str8 male and i even got the golden version). it has an excellent camera comapring it with other 1.3MP phones. nice zooming and clear display. big screen. easy to navigate. very easy-to-use t9 dictionary in smsing(a type of upgrade from the previous version). very great loudspeaker as mp3 songs played come ut very nicely and people will evny when your phone rings :)

folks...seriously, I can't believe how unreasonable you all are to not just this phone but 99% of phones in here. I am a MASSIVE SE user but got the chance to buy this after using it and its a VERY good phone. Yes, the amber is very feminine so I got the chocolate one but it is as advertised, a fashion PHONE. Yea its got a small memory but isnt that what bluetooth and your computer are for?? I am sick of people talking about memory, mp3s, and the camera. You can't expect the phone to do all of those things because they are optional and if you want all those things, buy them and stop being cheap trying to get them all on your cell phones. The only major thing you all should be concerned about is making and receiving calls. Get over it. You all keep saying you're dissatisfied, but no matter what phone you buy, it's never going to have everything. They all have their downfalls. So pick one and deal with it okay.

I got the phone last month and the pictures definitely don't do it justice. I have the gold one and although it's the more feminine of the two, both versions look so good. The battery life isn't that great sincee you have to charge it almost every other day but I don't think there are any majoy problems with the phone. You THINK you may need more than 10mb but really, when you actually have the phone you realize that you can live without those features. Want to listen to music? Use the radio. THis phone is definitely original and not many people have it so expect a lot of compliments. The only real problem I have is that I can't set up Voice Mail..but that's probably a problem that I have with my service provider. If you're thinking about this phone, go for it! It has enough features that you would need in a phone and it's gorgeous.

ok. ive just spent 30 minutes reading ALL of the opinions about this phone. i got to demo it recently at a mall, it was easy to use; as(in my opinion) all nokia phones are. 1.3mp camera, 10mb memory, no flash...ITS A PHONE! those are just there for fun. if you want a camera and an mp3 player, buy them. this is a CELLULAR PHONE. you complain about the 10mb memory, u read the specs before u bought the phone. u KNEW it only have 10mb. WHY ARE U CRYING?!?! thats all it has, take it or leave it. the battery life: as some dude said on like page 6 or something, LIHM batteries are sensitive when you first charge them. learn to read, and understand the technology before u knock it. u can compare this phone to others, but whats the point? u either want it or not. the motorola thin phones have their downfalls too. ive personally snapped one in half with little effort (go ahead, try it). flip phones, the flipped wears out, connections are lost, the flipper is very removable. and for those knocking the design of the phone. the swivel, companies copy other companies all the time. crysler 300/300m vs caddy CTS/STS. nike air force ones vs any other shoe with the strap. get over it. phone face. i personally love the design. im a 6'2 built tanned guy. im purchasing the gold one, because i like yellow. anyone have a problem? good. now sit down, im not done yet. the ONLY problem i have with the phone, is the little tag thingy, but i can live with it. feel free to email me, ive left my yahoo. peace.

i'm also having problems with the sms delivery.3 or 4 messages will show as pending for ages then deliver all at once. so is the problem the delivery notification or the network? thinking the phone because i didn't have this problem before. otherwise the little phone rawks!

This phone is a lovely phone. It isn't the Genghis Khan of electronics - it won't take professional-standard photographs, and it can't store the whole of the Lord of the Rings in the internal memory. So it's not a phone for the major technophiles. Having said that, a lot of people forget that sometimes all you want out of a phone is for it to be a phone - to call, text, possibly keep just a couple of music files as ringtones, or take the occasional photo. I've got a digicam, an mp3 player and a laptop, so I don't need or want it to do anything bizzare or anything that isn't actually useful. So many features on higher-technology phones are redundant. I am a Man, and I have this phone...and this is pretty much a good buy for me for what it does... I have the N61 for data and emails etc. and I have the Sharp 903 for Camera and Video etc....and the N Gage (the 903 btw has only 8 MB memory on it without the expandable memory) The phone is for fashion/visual purposes only...Being that I am in Chicago...I get to show it off at clubs and i get a lot of attention for it considering people have been trying to getit from the Neiman Marcus website and can't... it is fast and the gold makes it look great in the sunlight and at night.

I love this phone. I a guy and to those who think this phone is only for girls should think again. Many of my friends envy my phone. Well, unfortunately, one of my friends was messing about with my phone and deleted two applications, the size converter and the world clock which really sucks. I have had this phone for 3 weeks now and all I can tell you is that the battery is very poor compared to other Nokia phones. It's charger is slimmer, it doesn't connect to usual Nokia chargers. It looks nice but... it's battery dies quickly.

Im with Cingular as well and i have the same problem with the voicemail notification, I dont think its anything we can fix. I contacted Cingular and one of their representatives told me its because this phone doesn't recgonize the signal that Cingular sends out for voicemail notification. So i guess we're just gonna have to deal with that and check for voicemails periodically.

This phone is SO gorgeous...it makes me want to drool. However, like many have said, the features aren't that great and there are a lot of phones that offer better options. I was just wondering if one should go for looks or features when deciding on a phone? Right now, it's between this phone and the Sony Ericsson w800i and I really can't decide. i just got this phone 2 days ago after drooling over it since october 2005. i am proud to say that i don't regret spending $350 CAN on this phone. I love it and ever since I got it I have none stop compliments. And I'm proud to say that it's exclusive since it's not out in Canada :). The only downfall to this phone is it's lack of memory, but if you want memory to listen to music & movies, people go buy an Ipod. And I have one more disadvantage I'm having trouble accessing the internet, anytime I do so, I get a message saying "SUBSCRIBE TO PACKET DATA FIRST" I have no clue what that means, so if anyone can help me out, it will be deeply appreciated.

i've just bought the gold one for my mom (it is sure a ladies' phone) and hv tested it thoroughly. I'd say the finishing of this phone is excellent and worths every cent, and definitely more well-built than the plastic-like samsung730. I've bought a V3x for myself and the craft is not yet close to 7370.

This is a gr8 fone!i waited 4 ages 2 get one and wen it finaly came i was amazed at how stylish it lks-iv got loads of comments about it and evry1 seems 2 like the flower design (altho a few have said the gold cover is tacky). Altho the battery only lasts about 2 days on mine, i didnt charge it straight away-i advise anyone else 2 charge theirs as soon as they get it for about a day! poor battery life. you guys are all right, it only lasts like a day or two. nice design, it's something very original. it's definitely a head turner. front panel scratches very easily. camera is pretty good. radio drains your battery. loudspeaker works great, as do the ear phones -- which are used for both radio and headset. i'd say it is a decent phone...

I think that the Nokia 7370 is a great phone. Its got a gr8t and unique design. I love the colour and the swivel design. This phone is great. NOT! Besides the whole artistic design and all theres more to this phone than u may already think. The quality of the camera is really poor! U think that since its a new phone, its got a better camera quality well then u were wrong. The picture quality is really bad and disapointing. If you were expecting to sing along and listen to ALL your fave music on the 7370 well the memory is really bad. You'll have to pick out ONE SONG ONLY and store it on the phone. I don't think that its a very good phone. I think ppl just get it coz of the design and all. But behind that golden metal surface, it's not all that its cracked up to be.

well, i have this phone in coffee brown, and am perfectly happy with it. excellent screen, good camera & battery life, & is just really pretty. though unfortunate that it can only accommodate one mp3 with its memory for ringtones etc, but really, if you want a phone as a phone and not some harddrive, this is perfect. if you want to carry your music around, simple. get an mp3player then.

I just received this phone yesterday from plemix.com. This phone comes with the phone, battery, tassel, case for the phone, radio headphones, and ac3 charger (make sure if you live in the states and you order this phone you get an ac3 adapter because US sockets do not use this type). Although there is no cable for syncing, you can get a bluetooth USB receiver that does the same thing without a cord for $18.50 at plemix, and if you buy the phone they usually give you a couple bux off. Hope this helps......

i dont know about u guys claiming d battery life is awful..mine lasts for 4 days w/o turning off at night, a lot of sms, a couple of phone calls, & a few camera shots..i can conclude that the battery is excellent.. u just have to have it fully empty before making d initial charge, then u hav to do it for another 3 charges..dont overcharge/undercharge..d first 3 charges is crucial for a li-ion battery so make sure u only charge it when d phone has turnd-off by itself...hope it helps...

i bought this phone about a month ago, i chose this phone because i literally fell in love of its sleek opening style and it does look great overall. However, weeks past, and i start to regret my purchase of this phone, having a closer look, the design does look somewhat like its made for our grandma with its flowery design. The phone memory is abit too low for me, as i would'nt even dare to save any video files just to save up some space. Battery life is also a problem as i find myself constantly charging my phone almost daily with a battery life averaging about 2 days max.

Well, i got mine last tuesday.I admit, the battery life only last me up to 3days.nevertless, i did sms and talk quite a lot.The new message system looks pretty cool.as for the low memory, i deleted my game, some tones, wallpapers and a application to increase the memory.So far, i have uploaded 3 mp3s files(each about 2mb).The design is nice, not bad.the screen is great.clear.dont forget that there is video ringtone too. The bad things is that it has no flash.the memory could have be 50mb instead of 12mb. Thats all.

Right so I got this new phone last week and well I like it a lot however there are some negative points about it. Battery life is poor, I would have exspected better from Nokia, it does not come with a data cable and again I would of exspected an exspensive new phone such as this to come with a data cable and finally the one thing I am most disapointed with is the fact that the front panel scratches VERY VERY easily. From just having it in my pocket it seems to have gotten scratches on it. I am now buying a clear cover case for it because I do not want it scratched any further !!! But in saying all that the features are pretty good, standard but good never the less. I would strongly advise people to buy a data cable as it lets you use the phone fully and you can upload music/images/tones ect.

Received the Nokia 7370 last week and it's a great little phone. It's very easy to use even 1 handed. I get about four days battery life gets shorter if I'm using the radio the whole day but that is draining. Had a Samsung D500 and vowed never to go back to Nokia until I saw this phone last year before it was released in South Africa. Love it, love it, love it!

F4pr: There really is no real competition between 7370 and Motorola v3i. The former stands out as a phone in it's own class in this comparison. Stop waisting your time on pondering the decision, Nokia 7370 is the one you want! True, the memory in the 7370 could really be larger, but then again, nowhere in there a phone individually designed for you. They all have their disadvantages. And that's the only one in this handset.

Just got it somewhat more than week ago, and it's great. I have the coffee brown coloured version, and by no means is it just a "trendy phone" for artists. Me myself am a 110 kg full-bearded man, something very different and really as to my appearance/inclinations as far from a trendy gal/guy, than I suppose it is really possible to be... Does one need to have be a trendsetter to like a phone of solid construction, good grip (the leather on the back of the phone, though not genuine such), and a brilliant display? True, it's somewhat heavy compared to phones of same sort of dimensions, but that's really a two-fold advantage here, as I'm concerned. First of all, it's still a real handset, not such an one that one can lose in his pocket... Secondly, the fact is telling of the fact that it's a handset of sound & solid construction - which it really is. It's the first Nokia phone for me for years - have been "on the Samsung camp" meanwhile - but now as I compare it to my former D500, the latter is light, packed up with features, but plastic, crappy construction phone with a display awfully bad conpared to that of Nokia 7370. This Nokia model is simply the best of their range!

to SiKJ: First of all, what does the using of "tricky" devices have to do girls?(?!!) Do you imply that girls/women are more able to use "tricky" devices, than men...?! (not saying they were less so, though) Secondly, using the phone isn't tricky. It's very easily opened up by one hand, whilst occasionally one needs to employ both hands to rotate the screen back to the starting position. Thirdly, you say it's a "girls/sisters" handset. Of all phones in the market, this is the most beautiful one to look at, in my opinion. The screen is extremely good, crisp and clear and big. It has a radio, so there's no real need for mp3 storage space... Unless you want your phone to be a data monster that can contain ALL photo's, voice memo's mp3's etc. you get your hands on, this is a sublime machine.

I think this is the coolest phone so far. I've got the amber one. It's so chic and bohemian like. It goes with what you wear. I dont really care about the 10mb storage space. It have a 1.3mb camera and that's good enough. It has radio and video recording feature and i love it.

TO ANONYMOUS: I can't agree more with you about Nokia models for USA Market, whether it is for T-Mobile or Cingular. OUT OF 11 Phones Officially supported by T-Mobile only 3 are normal. ALL 5 SAMSUNG MODELS currently on T-Mobile, SUCK in sound quality . Nokia 6010 and 6101 (unfortunetely sound SUKS TOO). MOTOROLA V188 IS A TOTAL GARBAGE (sound quality and software issues) AND ONLY 3 phones are normal (to my surprice they are all Motorola!!!!!) A picture taken with a 1,3 megepixel camera from Nokia 7380 is about 400-500 KB (depends on colour,light,etc). That means in a 10 MB memory u can keep 20(twenty) pictures. Poor liitle space!!!

If the phone has 10mb it means that it will hold quite alot of messages and picuters and will store some videos too. Well over 100 messages and many pics so you wont really have 2worry about storage! Hope this helps :)

I think this has better memory than the v3 as i just read, the v3 only has 5.5 and this phone has 10 -.- Im planning to buy it but its a pretty expensive phone for a phone that has to be opened to answer a call. Does anyone know if theyre comming out with a newer and better version?

If you can't beat them, copy them... I guess that's nokia's new motto now... I bad copy of the swivel phones of SE. c'mon, no flash for the camera, you have to do better than... And the closed mode there's no buttons, so you would open the phone every now and then, whereas with SE you could do without the swiveling the phone (except for sms, mms) 10mb memory, uuuhhh, what's the purpose of all those functions if you only have very limited memory... IMHO, the phone looks a tombstone when closed/

OK this phone surprised me. thought it's just another Series 40 with nice design (ala what Motorola is doing) but it isn't. for one, you can FINALLY type more than language with T9 in messaging. also, there is a sort of "Today" screen which i found useful. the build quality isn't as good as Motorola but is OK. colours and designs are unique and will definitely stand out in a crowd. coming from the 6230 it's a definite improvement except for the larger size, but the screen is much larger as well!

The nokia 7370 is a wonderful phone, needs more memory, we should be able to get more memory on a phone like that either as an upgrade or as a package, I'd like to see a silver-colored version of that phone, and other great colors. Can't wait for its release.

It would be kind of clunky when you need to use it though. The only way to access anything would be to open the spinner completely. Then the whole thing becomes really long! At least SE have some sort of a navi-key at the front.

I just don't get it for once can't nokia produce a decent phone that has all one exceptional quality in one. So it has decent screen and 1.3 megapixal camera and other features. However what is the significance for having such features if not for more memories. this should've been a great phone if Nokia provided at least 50MB of memory..10MB is too low for a phone with such features (Imagine CIF, 352X288 Video, 1.3MP camera, MP3 Player & 2 stereo speakers)..u cant play 3 mp3 songs, or store 100 pics, or record a 30-minute video.. 10MB doesnt make sense!

In my opinion, this is actually a stylish phone. I think the company didn't put so much memory in because they were aiming to sell it to those who really aren't that techy and just want their phone to look cool. Some say it's a copy of the motorola V80. I haven't seen it so I can't really compare, but it looks like a cooler version of that siemens phone except this one flips open not slides.

The other thing is the colour. While the pics of the dark brown and black ones look really rad....the baby poo yellow version certainly doesnt float my boat. i know they were thinking the whole retro theme thing is comin back, but that was one past fashion statement that should stay in the past! OTher than that, i would buy it...if the price was right (and more memory of course)

nokia has clearly specified it's target market with the launch of every phone. Those looking for features should check out the n series or even the communicators. No use cribbing about lack of features in sub-$250 models. and samsung dosen't offer competetive features even in it's top-of-the-line models.

now this fone beats the s700 because of the size and weight its smaller and lighter same resolution 240*320. Anyway the only prob i have with this fone is no card slot hope nokia change that but still i'm not a big fan of the whole swivel thing but yea its pretty good esp because it won't be that pricey.
