Lenovo K5 Pro - User Reviews

  • Reset the phone to gain freedom from virus to enable it download as I wish

  • It works, I have used IT to run SDR radio via OTG. But if you need good photos i don't recommend this phone.

  • OK found an actual video of this phone's very bright notification LED in action: Video is not in English but it gave me a clear idea of how bright it is. Many phones come with tiny invisible notification lights making them useless. This one is awesome.

  • My lenovo k5 pro seem to have a problem when downloading anything from play store it used to download until recently what could be the issue

  • I have been using k5 pro for 8 months now suddenly U-touch feature isn't working. What could be the problem and as for navigation keys only back key is working but "home" and recent events key not working. Kindly help

  • Can someone PLEASE PLEASE post a picture of the notification LED of this phone in action? How big and visible is it and what colors? I want a phone with visible notification light from a distance. Post a link to imgur

  • Don't get to 0% and to 100% Play between 20-80

  • where i can found battery 4 this phone?

  • you can install rom again with Qfill

  • Nothing.

  • Please, what is the difference between Global ROM and Global Version?

  • one whole day for me, from wake up 7am to bed ~11pm (normal usage on a work day)

  • how long does the battery last

  • please help me... my phone is error, stuck on quallqom crashdump mode

  • I have been using this phone for 3 months and I am very disappointed in it , first of all because of the very poor definition of the picture when you take a shot using zoom. Digital ? Optical? Specs do not mention this. If you focuse 2X the picture , it already becomes undistinguishable. You can't tell, if you focus, lets say, on a red rose, from not more than 2m, what kind of a flower you got shot. You got only a an uncertain spot of color. I picked this phone exactly for its specs on cameras...but it is mere mumble jumble in practical terms... Dual 16 MP, f/2.0, PDAF 5 MP, depth sensor Features Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama ... Colors and hues are totally different in picture than in reality. None of my previous phones had been such a letdown to me as K5Pro does.

  • less than 1 h..between 1/2 and 1 h. ..only if plugged into power outlet ....

  • My hotspot stopped working, how can I fix it?

  • Depends on the charger, these phones come randomly with regular or quick charge chargers included in the box.

  • Please guys, how long does it take your phone to get full from 0-100% ? Mine takes over 2hrs maybe extra 30mins.

  • I use OTG daily and didn't notice any issues. I regularly use a wired USB gamepad, I also tried a micro sd card reader, a mouse, and a USB hub where I was able to plug in the mouse and the gamepad at the same time and use them simultaneously. No issues for me. Maybe try another cable.

  • Has anyone really tried otg before? Otg seems not working on lenovo k5 pro

  • You can use split screen if you go to the recent tasks view, and then tap and hold on one of the recently used apps. A part of the screen near the top will turn white, and you just drag the recent task there and release your finger. That app will then be on the top, and you can pick the bottom one just by tapping another task from the remaining ones. As for Android Pie, phh-treble 9.0 (AOSP) reportedly works very well, except for MTP. You can find out more on XDA-Developers and on the unofficial K5 Pro Telegram group: (this is where most of the talks and new developments are).

  • It' not that easy to tell, but it feels like the back of the phone (and the sides with SIM tray and volume buttons, all of which are on the same sheet of material) feels metallic, but the top/bottom parts of the back feel like plastic, you can better see what I'm talking about if you look at a photo of the phone's back.

  • This phones price is very good for its costs, also after buying it as Lenovo seems to forget about giving this updates, just unlock bootloader, install twrp, then flash whatever custom roms you like or better yet get lineageOS Android Pie or Q in the future.

  • is the body metallic or plastic?!

  • Oh yeah, it's have all the sensor that you need

  • I just brought this phone yesterday and I'm gonna answer all ur questions Have LED Notification & flash front Speaker problem ? What problem ? I don't see it have one, but you already know this phone have stereo speaker right ? It just gimmick(front speaker is very low sound) This phone is came with Oreo 8.1 out of the box with Lenovo UI and I didn't received any update at all I'm don't know what other think about this phone but for me, it's just check all my boxes ✓FHD+ Display ✓Snapdragon Processor 636 ✓Big battery with Fast Charging ✓USB C and Headphone Jack ✓Decent Camera(although this have 2 in front and back) Things I don't like about this is - Confusing UI(can't even use split screen) - Lenovo seems forget about this phone since no update although this phone launch last year. Oh yeah, for those who having this phone and already install custom rom Pie, pls let me know how you done it. Thanks!

  • It has a gyroscope, yes. Just tested on mine and it works.

  • Please anyone using this phone does it have gyroscope?

  • Well, the speakers are stereo and i so much love it. there is a sound glitch on the front speaker though..but i fix it by flashing mix 3 audio speaker mod through magisk but not as loud as my previous redmi 5 plus but the quality is definitely better.

  • Does lenovo k5 pro have speaker problem as many say, lenovo phones have speaker problems, and what about LED notification on front ?, thanks.

  • Hi, does lenovo k5 pro have speaker problem like other lenovo phones?,thanks.

  • please post the link u used for it

  • You can install Android Pie already as a Treble Generic System Image. It looks like the only thing not working properly are the cameras. The rest is fine.

  • lenovo should provide pie update for this phone. Is there pie custom roms for this phone?

  • Hello, does this model support the Virtual Reality mode - duplicated screen - also known as Theatermax , previously supported in previous versions ?

  • when will Lenovo update this phone to Android 9 pie.

  • Without case.

  • Does lenovo k5 pro come with pouch

  • Available in a global version, I have one too.

  • It's released and available in China, you can order it on AliExpress for instance. But it likely won't see a global release so the only option is to import from China.

  • is this Available....?

  • hi which one is better htc desire 12+ if lenovo vibe k5 pro 4GB

  • VR is Virtual Reality or Video Recording?

  • Hi, can someone who has the K5 Pro confirm if it has the VR mode like the old 2016 K5 ?? Thanks!!!!

  • Sport? It has OTG.

  • Sport otg???

  • No, it doesn't.

  • Does it have NFC support

  • You probably got the Chinese version but flashed with a fake ROM. You can flash the original Chinese ROM then change the language to English, Xender will work. Secondly, you can download mi-drop, it works like Xender. The sim tool kit is found in the contacts settings.

  • Hi is there a way to have the sim toolkit icon visible. I'm also unable to use xender with mine

  • Hi I like the phone but I don't have no sim Toolkit Icon. I'm also unable to use xender

  • Unfortunately, then I lose this convenience feature. :-(

  • Set pull down action to "Do nothing" in launcher setting-behavior Problem solved

  • Good, only the notification bar disappears after you pull it off.

  • Yes, the device knows.

  • bro, I bought this K5 pro and I want to ask if there is a Face unlock feature.?

  • Try rootless pixel launcher/lawnchair, i'm using it until now Good launcher, fast & stable, clean ui like pixel phone

  • But not all non-factory launchers work well (late notification, notification bar problems). The software seems a bit beta.

  • The Lenovo UI is alright. It certainly isnt as clean as stock android but it is very close to it. Even if you dont like it you can always put a launcher on top of it anyway.

  • How is the lenovo ui

  • K5 Pro compared to Max Pro M1, similar specs but this K5 Pro fast charging with Type C

  • It does have a notification led in front , indeed. The phone is great for its price IMO

  • Yes, it have, but you can't set colors for applications.

  • Does it has notification led?

  • My camera have problem , the camera record don't record for long , just 20 to 50 second it stop

  • My lenovo k5 pro camera records for some seconds and stop like 20seconds highest 50seconds and i have tried force stop , clear data , clear cache but nothing work , what can i do?

  • Lenovo should develop the habit of updating their phones so as to enjoy customer patronage. This phone must not die in Oreo 8.1. They should update it to 9 pie.

  • I don't know, I don't want to replace the factory ROM. I hope it will be updated soon. The security package is also from November.

  • With EU plug, global ROM, multilanguage ROM.

  • iÂ’m using this phone for 3 weeks now, amazing phone for budget phone -great slim design & build quality is good -screen color is good -fingerprint is fast -superb battery -good stereo speaker (one of the speakers not so loud) but still good sound quality -camera quite good -touchscreen is very responsive -smooth performance -I get a 3A charger from the sales box (amazing for budget phone) Very recommended phone, good lenovo 👍🏻👍&#127995;

  • Are there ROMS for It ?

  • Does the charger that came with the phone have a Chinese or European plug? In other words, is your phone the Global version with official global firmware, or a Chinese version with multi-language ROM installed on it?

  • Terrible software! Notifications are late, very few configuration options, lock screen cannot be customized properly, notification bar and widget font size too large. Assembling, screen, battery, face recognition and fingerprint reader are all right.

  • Well you could try to get S5 Pro if you dont mind the notch, plus you would have face unlock, better cameras, better build, maybe better stereo speaker setup, only downside is a 500mah difference in battery, well I rarely get below 40percent in one day use and since it has fast charging brick, i often charge it in the morning during breakfast

  • Nope. I opened a dispute against the seller and received a full refund. It looks like at the moment, the 6GB+64GB model is very hard to come by, and all the sellers on AliExpress only have the 4 GB RAM versions in stock. I'll wait a bit more until some seller gets the 6GB+64GB or 6GB+128GB versions in stock and only then order. It's a shame because this phone really ticks every box for me, I've been looking for a phone like this for quite some time and now it's impossible to actually buy it...

  • Has it arrived?...how good is the camera

  • When this phone get android 9 Pie update ?

  • Just found another app working with that powerful second speaker, its of course Soundcloud :D wow this phone has so much value for the price, waiting for update patiently.. Lenovo please update this little beast

  • when this mobile release in india? why lenovo delaying release this phone in india?

  • Sure it has :)

  • Could someone using this confirm whether this have Gyro sensor or not ?

  • I get around 8hrs mostly watching videos, i think it will last more if used regular charger instead of fast one that comes in package easy 2 days usage

  • Battery life is good around 8hours sot, phone comes with 18w fast charging, but I think it would last more if charged with regular charger, at 7.5-10w

  • Guys, what about the battery ? How is the screen on time in that phone ? I am thinking to buy it. TIA

  • Or if you meant ads, this device dont have any single ad, just some preinstalled demo games and some apps, which you cab uninstall. I think i was getting wish ad pop up from app 'Beauty Fit' so I uninstalled it and its gone.

  • Theres is no single problem with notifications, unless you disable sync to save power, then you have to manually open apps so they update. Also you can disable sync and exclude some important apps so you wont be getting notifications from non selected apps and will get from excluded

  • Dear friends, is there any problems with getting notifications from the apps? I'd like to buy it instead of RN5, is it good idea? Or any sense to go for Lenovo S5 pro? Thanks

  • Have you tried putting a music player into background and then launching the game and turning down the game's music and sound effects to 0? I wonder if it could change the way it sounds compared to the game app not running.

  • One thing I noticed that this device actually have real second stereo speaker at earspeaker place its enabled when you start to play some 3D games, I think its a software issue, otherwise the phone enables earspeaker and sound is not balanced.. I wrote email to lenovo/motorola support and I thing this device will get updated soon :)

  • Does it have face id...I watched a review on YouTube and the YouTuber said it has no face id,is that true?

  • Couldnt find any info, but S5 pro uses sony sensor so it might be also sony as they're released together

  • What camera sensor does this phone use.....sony or Samsung

  • Sounds cool, thanks for the reply. Can't wait until mine arrives too! I ordered the 6+64GB variant at the end of January and still waiting :P

  • Thanks for the reply mate..... I'm definitely gonna get this...

  • Camera has live slow mo video recording, up to 4K recording, 4:3 16mp photos and 16:9 12mp photos, in in pro mode you get iso from 100-3200 and shutter speed from 1/4000 to 1/2 I havent try it a lot in manual, but in auto mode it does better job than rn5 ;) I havent tried gcam port also, overall the phone is amazing oh and one note: under fingerprint there is motorola logo and at the bottom there is lenovo logo

  • You can get it on AliExpress for about $148 for the 4gb 64gb version

  • How good is the camera quality compar ed to rn5

  • Yes its exactly the same model number as you mentioned, mine is 4/64gb global version, front facing flashlight is here, big multicolor notifocation light is also on front panel, the phone is super smooth almost like vanila android experience, theres night mode, double tap to wake included, screen contrast and colors is good while keeping night mode together, well the stereo speakers trick is just enabled ear speaker which u cannot disable for now.

  • Front facing flash? Sounds neat, but it's the first time I see a front facing flash being mentioned in regards to this phone. Are you sure you're talking about the K5 Pro (L38041) model?

  • Also phone has big notification light and its bezels are perfect and smaller than Redmi Note5 theres also front facing flash, metal build its so light to hold in hand because how slim it is, and almost no back camera bump makes its so elegant. Battery life is perfect, 4050mah and eco performance chipset will make it last trust me :) The only disadvantage is updates, theres still no update, but I hope Lenovo will make a good update soon. If you can get for 150eur and you're not a heavy 3D gamer, its good bang for the buck

  • Firstly, I was tempted to get Redmi Note7 but durability tests by users show that its fragile and has screen bleeding issue and notch.. My gf has RedmiNote 5 and its fast enough for me Iam not a gamer.. so I I got Lenovo K5 global pro for just 149euros,while Note7 will cost around 230 in my country and its still not released.. Of course Note7 and Note7 pro is better in performance and night camera capabilities but it has so much cost cuts in other aspects even redmi note6 has better audio recording and etc.. With Lenovo K5 pro we get quad cameras which are better than Redmi Note5 It has type c and 18w quick charge and also stereo speakers.. The design is way slimer and more eye apealing than rn5 and audio is awesome via jack it has smart amp.. Its solid phone for price/performance ratio and Iam super happy with it.. Thats a very strong push by Lenovo to Xiaomi.. Very impressed :)

  • Am from Nigeria is the phone good enough with good features pls friends I need your answer

  • Mic not working during regular calls but works just fine on speakerphone. Any solutions?

  • Currently I'm using lenovo k5 note, it's so amazing phone I ever use, I'm from Tanzania I want lenovo k5 pro how can I order for mine?

  • the battery is better than all android phones I have used. Good battery.

  • Watched a review on YouTube....the lenovo k5 pro camera is almost on par with the RN5...the difference isn't really much

  • What is the release date in India?

  • How is it?..how is the performance and camera compared to RN5

  • How is the camera compared to redmi s2/Y2?...

  • I'm a camera person....I'm really disappointed..I thought the camera will be on par with the RN5 or a lil better than it...I was already planning on getting this... guess I'll have to wait for the RN7 to go on sale...

  • K3 Note not K5 note.

  • This is my take on K5 Pro. Build: quite good and up to par with the redmi note 5 and Meizu M6 Note. Looks better than the redmi. Seems durable. Display: Nice viewing angles. Readable under direct sunlight. Touch response is excellent. Sound: Good sound from external speakers. Up to par with the Redmi and Meizu. However when it comes to sound from the 3.5mm jack then this is on par with the Redmi but falls behind the Meizu. Battery and Charging: Charging is quite fast. Under two hours to fully charge with the supplied fast charger. Battery life is better than the Meizu but on par with the Redmi. I've never crossed the 50% threshold and am not really a frugal user (maybe it's because I don't really like the phone so I don't use it as much as I should). Camera: I will mention the best camera phones I've used since 2013. Nubia Z7 Max Infinix Zero 3 Redmi Note 3 Pro Redmi Note 4X Meizu M5 Note Meizu M6 Note Redmi Note 5 AI Now all the above mentioned phones destroys this phone in the camera department (photography). From my experience if I where to rate these phones it would go like this: Nubia Z7 Max = 80% Infinix Zero 3 = 70% Redmi Note 3 Pro = 70% Redmi Note 4X = 76% Meizu M5 Note = 80% Meizu M6 Note = 90% Redmi Note 5 AI = 80% Lenovo K5 Pro = 65% Performance: The snapdragon 636 with 4gb ram and 64gb rom is good enough for heavy daily use and I assure you it will not stutter. However the UI is not as good as flyme or MiUi. It is buggy especially the camera app. Final Thoughts: I've used Lenovo A800 and K3 Note and felt maybe it's time to go back to Lenovo and see how far they've progressed. Sincerely bar the camera this phone is quite good. It's a looker, it sounds great, it charges quickly and lasts longer than you will need it to. But if camera is your thing? This phone is a no go. As long as photography is concerned the only phone that I can compare this phone to is the Elephone M2 and it's simbling the K5 Note (2014).

  • can you post some photos?

  • Please go for others if camera quality is very important to you.

  • The XRN5 is better in camera quality by a large margin. The Lenovo K5 Pro is a good phone with a very poor camera. Print and rear inclusive. Very poor.

  • When will it available in India?

  • i like lenovo k 5 pro but when indonesia

  • I'm thinking of getting this or redmi note 5...which is better in terms of battery life, camera quality, screen quality, charging speed,ui...or overall which is better?

  • I'm thinking of getting this or redmi note 5...which is better in terms of battery life, camera quality,ui,screen quality, charging speed?....

  • Thank you Julio for your answers. Now I have to choose: K5 Pro or Xiaomi Note 5 or 6.

  • Should I get this, Mi Max 3,Honor 8X,or Zenfone M2 Pro?

  • Hey,Thanks for the reply.I dont think a gcam port for K5 pro available .So can you check the gcam for whyred(Xiaomi Redmi Note 5) works on k5 pro or not? And also how about Software? Do you get any bugs in OS and any SW OTA updates received ?Thank you very much for provoding information. There is 0 informations on the internet about K5 pro

  • thank u for the info u provided.

  • Well, let me check if it have gcam, but for the quality, it's a really good phone. The build it's very durable. It has Gorilla Glass 3, and all it's body is metal. It doesn't feel heavy and is ergonomic. Buttons (The Volume and Power ones) feels great and durable. In my opinion, I give it minimum 6 years of durability, if not more. I still have a LG L7 P708g, and it could last 3 days without charging, i used it for calls and sms only while i was waiting my lenovo k5 pro to be delivered, now i used that phone for do experiments with. I gave my dad a Lenovo K5 Note in 2016, and that phone only have metal frame, and until now it's performance is excellent, and doesn't have any scratches neither dents. With the k5 pro the performance it's great and the materials are of excellent quality. Mine doesn't have scratches neither dents.

  • Hello, sorry for the delay. First, it's hybrid tray, you could have two sim or one sim and a sd card. For the other questions, yes you have notifications led, it's color blue, the red led it's for charging and the green led notifies you when the charge is completed. You can zoom, and for the AI, well i need to check, i always configure the cam, but it has auto settings, and many things i need to learn, it has a very good camera.

  • Hey.Have you ever tried Gcam on it? is the Gcam for RN5 whyred works on 5 pro? And how do you feel about the build quality? Did you think it can last for atleast 1.5 2 years?

  • Hello, it is really hard to find information about this phone, because some pages wrote this, other wrote that. I hope you will answer a few questions about it. 1. Is it possible to use two simcards and a sd card at the same time or do I have to to choose: 2 simacrds or 1 simcard and the sd card. 2. It has a notification led for missed calls or messages? 3. Is it possible to zoom? 4. Does it have a AI mode with the camera?

  • Oh, i alsmost forgot to mention that it has excellent audio, Loud and smooth. A beatiful metallic case, i choose the black one, and a good gorilla glass screen. Both cameras has excellent performance and stability for both video recording and for taking photos. It has OS ZUI 5.0.066 ST (Android 8.1).

  • Yes, you can configure the time you want your screen turns off. I purchased this phone in November 30th in Sunsky. I use DHL express for delivery to Brownsville,TX. It was fast and secure, i bought two phones of this model (K5 PRO). It arrived in 5 labor days from China to USA. I recommend this phone, it's very fast, and have a good battery back up. I only charge it one time per week. I have whatsapp, messenger, MS Outlook, FireFox, and VLC installed on it. I hear music o see videos on it, also play sometimes in the phone, and i still have good amount of battery charge. Anyway, remember that in all phones, no matter how new it is, if you play graphics demand games or view video by a prolonged period of time, you are going to consume more energy. Also, if you have many apps running in the background, they silently would drain battery too. In all the phones i have had, I killed all the apps processes when i finished using it, it's a good practice. This is a powerful phone. In my opinion, I consider Lenovo and Xiaomi best phones companies. Also, you don't have a lot of bloatware install on it, something i like a lot too of these phones, Only few google ones, and 4 or 6 from the Manufacturer. But you can disable it or uninstall it without issues.

  • when will be sell in Indonesia

  • Is this phone running on Vanilla Android?

  • Hope it has screen time-out setting because my k5 play screen time-out cannot be changed. The k5 play screen time-out is automatically set. At 30 seconds. That's bad food a smartphone

  • This phone has been sold for a long time and is on sale in many sites and is of interest to many users. It is amazing.

  • It lacks proper review on Youtube.I tried asking few youtubers.but it didnt work sadly.

  • Why is not video from the unboxing this mobile?

  • Hey BTW, Did you tried any gcam ports ? Did the Redmi Note 5 gcam port works for this too? you ever tried that?

  • It includes English.

  • Guys, how many languages original ZUI firmware has? Can't find any information. On Aliexpress sellers install rom multilanguage which is not original ZUI

  • I will not buy a device with bootloader unlockable, never.

  • Oh thank You Man. I will buy one.

  • Is Lenovo Support Good To Update ZUI?

  • thank you for sharing this information what about led notification and brightness of it? is it rgb

  • A lot of mentions on Chinese sites though, still waiting for root and bootloader info

  • Wauuvvv, really value for the money here, even usb c, im surprised, so much phone for so small money.

  • Very beautiful phone

  • I'm really hyped for this phone now, the only thing still keeping me from ordering one is the lack of information whether it can be rooted and if the bootloader can be unlocked. It also puzzles me how there's literally no mention of this phone on xda-developers, I couldn't find a single thread dedicated to this phone.

  • Battery life is same as rn5, camera is also on par with rn5 (my previous phone) screen quality is very good. I received ota update the 1st day it arrived. Mine was the Chinese version so I had to download play store and uninstall Chinese apps. The only drawback is i can't unlock bootloader yet.

  • Hey, So what are the cons you have with this phone ? How is the camera(rear one specially) and OS.Are there any OTA updates? I cant choose what to buy between this and RN 5(Global/AI) This is better or equal in every way except Camera and OS updates IMO. How was the Display? is there a RGB notification LED? How was the battery life ?

  • Could someone using this confirm whether this have Gyro sensor or not.

  • Just order from aliexpress instead of waiting, the phone is great, i use it.

  • i am wait for this model lenovo k5pro

  • wow super phone and wait for buy lovely model

  • anyone used the phone playing ML, PUBG, VG and many more? how's the experience?

  • Which one do you offer? Xiaomi redmi note 5 or Lenovo K5 pro?

  • Hello. What is Reference website for downloading rom "ZUI"?

  • Thanks you are right, I received e-mail from aliexpress seller and he also mentioned that slot is hybrid. Also on gearbest it's written that it's hybrid.

  • I think it's hybrid, one of the reviews has hybrid sim tray pictures

  • Hello, please does this phone really have dedicated microSd slot? Because in gsmarena.com it is written "yes", and on page is written: Translated by Google: "is Nano SIM card Dual card dual standby Integrated card tray Card slot 2 Supports Nano SIM and microSD" From this I think the slot for sim and sd is hybrid. Could someone please help me? Thx

  • I see we have the same thing in common

  • I see we have the same thing in common

  • Lenovo has quietly released a few phones that are excellent values at different price points: A5, K5 Note, K5 Pro, Z5 Pro etc. Good job on pushing Xiaomi!!

  • I guess because it is overshadowed by the notchy S5 Pro...

  • Because Lenovo is second tier Chinese mobile phone brand (on market share).. Huawei + Honor, Oppo + Vivo + OnePlus, Xiaomi + Poco is the largest.. Followed by ZTE + Nubia, Meizu, and then Lenovo.. Coolpad and LeEco is the third tier.. CMIIW

  • Here, it's at the bottom of the page: It's a mobile website which makes it look a bit weird when viewed on a desktop pc. Try running your browser in a window and resize it to something a bit more portrait.

  • Btw why are there no reviews on this phone yet? Nothing on YouTube or online, haven't seen any unboxing pictures too

  • Can I get the link to the website?

  • The only drawback I can see so far is the lack of NFC - otherwise the phone seems perfect to me, especially at such price. By the way, someone asked whether it has a notification LED and yes, it does. At least two colors: blue and red, but probably more than that. You can find some user-submitted photos on Lenovo's website.

  • Am considering to buy this Lenovo K5 pro, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and Redmi Note 5 AI. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 is unfortunately not easily available in my area, and where it can be found it's being sold at a premium. For me, therefore, it seems that the battle line is drawn between K5 Pro and RN Note 5 AI. Only time will tell which one will win. (I hate NOTCHES by the way!)

  • They have appeared at Aliexpress online store with price around 180$ for 4 GB ROM.

  • Really nice phone with the best price ever

  • Wow Nice Price

  • Lenevo k5 pro camera eis enable?

  • First market to get it is China on October 25th India is "expected to" get it on November 28th

  • Where do I get this phone? Can't find it anywhere online to buy

  • The hardware is pretty impressive compared to a Redmi Note 5 AI or Redmi Note 6 Pro, but how good is Lenovo's UI and updates? Anyway, I already own a Redmi Note 5 AI, but if this Lenovo K5 Pro came out in June, I would probably have bought it.

  • @emgie, The S5 Pro has obvious better camera as it does say it has 20mp while this one has 16mp.

  • Strictly on camera merit, S5 Pro with its 2x telephoto second cam should offer better features, compared to K5 Pro's depth-sensing second cam.

  • which is better k5 pro or s5 pro,,i want the best camera features

  • If y'all ask why Lenovo doesn't distribute their phones aggresively, it's because Lenovo wants to regain position in China after the blunder (Lenovo once decided to replace all of their phones with the motorola brand and it failed), so y'all gotta be a little more patient

  • Lack of info leaves a lot of unanswered questions... Lenovo must market their phones much more aggressively...

  • Great specs for a reasonably priced phone. I want to know, will it come in Europe, and is it true that it has stereo sound?

  • Is it will come to Indonesia ? I really want this Smartphone..

  • This is not Redmi Note 6 Pro competitor but Note 5 AI (same 6 inch without notch and cheaper). The competitor of Redmi Note 6 Pro is Lenovo S5 Pro.. CMIIW

  • Great specs... Does it have notification light?

  • In all honesty, I think this phone is a great buy despite Lenovo lying about the Z5. If you don't want to support them, then don't. But if you really want this phone, go for it. Don't let done stupid company's actions stop you

  • that PDAF on the selfie cam will really make a difference.. :)

  • After dominating the upper budget segment for over half a year, looks like the Redmi Note 5 AI might be beaten, at least on paper. Good job Lenovo!

  • This could be a Lenovo P2 successor.

  • When will it get launched in India?

  • Me neither.

  • This looks like a better deal than a Redmi Note 6 Pro but I still don't know if i should trust Lenovo since they lied about the Z5 design.

  • honor 8c with lower specs than this, its 158$ & this its 145$ hope everthing about it, become real

  • better than motorola one power zenfone max pro(m1) redmi note 5 ai redmi note 6 pro everything that i want in this device the price is so good 190$ for 6GB/128GB + SUPPORT DEDICATED SLOT 256GB

  • I have to get this PHONE when it's launch here

  • great phone, reasonable price. Better than overprice iPhone

  • awesome device mix of redmi note 5 pro & redmi note 6 pro dedicated slot usb type c dual front camera 64/4 just for 145$ even lower than rn5 pro

  • Gyro?

  • This phone is good and overall tough competitor against Asus Zenfone Max Pro, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro, Nokia 5.1/6.1 and Realme 2 Pro and other brands (Huawei) If this phone had 5.84 notch Display then this is the killer mobile for the specs and price. Looks like Lenovo is making statement that it's back with a bang with series of phone Lenovo A5/ K9/ S5 Pro and K9 Pro Hope these models launch in India soon and globally Also let's not forget Lenovo S5 which is also a good phone for the price offering

  • This phone is a serious competitor for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI. Has slightly smaller body dimension (bigger screen to body ratio) 156 mm vs 158,6 mm (2,6 mm difference), dual selfie camera (16 MP + 5 MP) vs single 13 MP on RN 5 AI, Stereo Speaker, and hey, there's USB C port whilst still have 3,5 mm jack, and apparently has 3 slots for sim card (2) and dedicated memory card (1) while RN 5 AI has only 2 hybrid slots. Maybe the only losing for K5 Pro is in rear camera terms. RN 5 AI has 12 MP, f/1.9, 1/2.55", 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF as main rear camera and K5 Pro has 16 MP, f/2.0, PDAF. The secondary rear camera is same for both phones. Not to mention that there's 128 GB option for K5 Pro. Great job from Lenovo. Come on Xiaomi, at least put your USB-C for your midranger phones.

  • Anybody can confirm whether or not it has NFC?

  • Maybe my next cell phone if the price is still $ 140. good work
