I have this phone since 2009, it still works perfectly, it can do almost every hype of today. I think Nokia pushed every existing technology into the N9 phone, way long before the iPhone. (Too bad they didn't think of 'touch'. ) The phone is an iPod with integrated speakers! when you slide to one side, it becomes a smartphone when you slide it the other way. With GPS, voice control, wifi, bluetooth, front and rear cam (with a real lense system Zeiss), IRda (!),... Name it, and the N95 has it. Even today, I make it a sport to compare its possibilities with the latest, and beware: usually the Nokia has the same (or similar) possibilities! Btw, whatsapp is available for it!

Its the flex cable issue. Known issue for most of these slider type phones. Nokia n95 and Nokia N95 8gb are not even near the only phones where this can happen. Flex cable failure can also happen with Blackberry Torch(like 9810 for example) phones. You can extend life of the flex cable by using the slider and the keyboard only when you truly need it. Dont use slider only for unlocking the keyboard lock or just for answering calls. Avoid usage of the slider when you dont need the keyboard or media player buttons.

If GPS/maps is very important for you. Then you probably should go for newer phone and forget Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB, reason is because because the GPS antenna may fail. In the 8GB model this does happen. Not sure if its a result of corrosion/humidity. The GPS of my Nokia 8GB feature has competely stopped functioning long time ago. Not a big issue for me because for navigating I have my own Garmin Zumo 350LM GPS navigator.

Im still using my Nokia N95 8GB as my daily phone. In my opinion the Symbian is the best phone OS. The reason why Symbian is a bit slow is because of the weak hardware, not because of software. Im keeping my N95 8gb as my daily phone and Im not going to buy new phone before this breaks down. I hate touchscreens too much. The N95 8gb definitely does have best support for multimedia handsfree(with multiple buttons, like the AD-54) system excluding voice commands. Best music player controls overall. The N95 8gb also does have 2 "hidden" features. A video cutter, A photo editor. Simply select a photo without opening it, then open the menu and choose edit. Then open up menu again and "choose a function" or something similar, im not sure what is the correct word in english, because I use finnish language settings in my n95 8gb. Now Symbian opens a photo editor. These 2 apps never show up in your apps or tools list/folders. To open up video editor. Simply select a video without opening it, then open the menu and choose edit. Then you have 4 choices: merge(merge videos together), switch sound(switch sound of the video), add text into video, Cut(this opens the video cutter).

Hi guys. This phone was my dream once. Then i got Nexus 4 and still have one with sailfish OS. I am sure Nokia has a future and it can come back and be the first one, if they will not make android phones! Android is very slow and laggy. You need much power to run it fast, but sailfish os is not that case. It's fast even on slower hardware. It's open source and it can run android apps with alien dalvik, or on ported versions you can run android apps with sfdroid. So if Nokia will start making phones with this OS future is theirs!

If you like Nokia, you certainly wouldn't want it with Android. Nokia always produced great and reliable phones and Andriod is lacking in that department. As was Symbian lagging and overcome. I loved it also, but it's end was inevitable. If you are thinking newer phones have bad cameras, boy, you are so wrong. Even the cheapest Nokia Lumia 620 and 520 have much better camera than the N95. It did had amazing camera and was ahead of the time, but that was in 2007, now it's 2015 and technology advanced and N95 is stuck in past. If you even try 920, albeit 3-4 years old phone, it puts to shame even some P&S digital cameras, and you can use it as hammer and used ones are under 100euros. Not to say about 930, 930 and so on. So, leave the past in nice memory and enjoy the new things. You won't regret.

Why we still enjoying nokia n95 than other phone that supposed to be a bad ass, new and powerfull core. There is captibiting in it. Agreed. I've had this phone since 2008 and only last month did I switch to an Xperia because I dropped the N95 and broke the GPS which I need. Excellent smartphone with a vast array of functions. Browsing on Opera using wi-fi was awesome, I had Facebook app, WhatsApp, TomTom navigation, storage was plentiful, camera was great (had a front facing one too which I never used). I remember eagierly looking forward to new firmware updates. Top phone.

Sorry, my bad about flash type. Yes there are torch applications , I already mentioned one of them and its "S60SpotOn". But unfortunately none of those torch applications can use brighter main camera flash, they can only use weak red colored(mainly used for red eye reduction) main camera flash and main screen as torch.

I am still using mineg I have a white housing put on a black phone. I use Nokia Maps as a sat nav, sports tracker as a fitness app, Spotify, Opera Mini Browser, Profimail and Googasync to sync my Google Calendar. It is pretty much a fully functional smartphone. I have whatsapp on my tablet but it would be supported if I needed it. I can also tether to my laptop and Android tablet. Battery not amazing but better than my HTC and at least it is replaceable.

Try hard reset if you havent yet. Command code is *#7370# Make sure that you have full battery or plug your phone into your battery charger when doing hard reset. Might be good idea to first back up your files before you begin. If this doesnt help at all, then you probably need to buy new battery.

Nope, no support for HD quality videos. Internet browsing is quite slow, but still acceptable in my opinion. I use Opera mobile browser, better than stock internet browser.

N95 8gb uses xenon flash instead of regular LED light. So you cannot use any torch applications to make camera the brighter flash to work as torch, phone wont allow it. If you somehow succes to force the camera xenon to work as torch, result will be overheating and burned out flash. If you use torch application, you can only use the weaker red colored camera flash as torch, but red colored flash light is too weak and wont help to see anything. With torch applications you can also use main screen as torch. One good working torch application is S60SpotOn.

I can see 8 GB memory, can connect to WiFi. GPS is there but cant get the info, may be that's due to any config problem or signal issues. Couldn't check the camera fully. I think i'm loving my N95 8gb than my laptop computer. The fact is i don't know what's hooked me with the phone but i kept loving it more everyday bcuz the phone is an epitome of smart mobiles. I have used my nokia n95 8gb for long time. I honestly cant even remember the day I bought it anymore. Best non touchscreen phone ever made and Im not going to buy any other phone before this breaks down. N95 8gb even does have hidden features like photo editor(very basic) and a video cutter. With AD-54 handsfree adapter you can control the music player very well. Firmware v35.0.001 improves audio quality compared to older versions. There is also ways to increase music volume to easily deafening high levels. I have tried few touchscreen phones like samsung galaxy s2 and s3, I hate those phones, the touchsreen technology only pisses me off. I also like more of the symbian than android. So I highly recommend nokia n95 8gb for all people who hates touchscreen phones.

I have a nokia n95 8gb...The first owner was a my sister and am the 2nd owner and it's was bought on September's 2007, and now it is a very good phone but which is my best phones :) it was taken cared very well but now it says that mass memory is not available .. I used it for the last 5 years before I buy SGS. It's still in great condition. Slide mechanism works without problems, there is no problems with screen. It has two awesome loudspeakers and incredible 5mp camera - I have never seen these better then in n95 8gb. For example no one SonEric phone with 8mp have the same quality camera - so better camera have just another Carl Zeiss devices like N86 8mp/N8/N9 and the same camera have N97/X6/N82 etc. I'll miss to devices like this. Nokia - you made a mistake when you chose WP7 not droid.

Hello friends. N95 8GB is a very nice and sturdy phone. I had to change the strip once, and so the display. May be that was because of bad handling of the phone, since it fell on ground on many occasions. But, still its a very sexy looking phone. I dont know why Nokia is producing phones with similar designs. Its loudspeaker is also very loud, crisp and clear.

I have had the N95 8GB for about four to five years now and it never had any issue whatsoever!!! all of its functions are still in perfect working condition... GPS, WIFI, everything... and second best thing is that 5mp camera!!! which doesn't sound like much but boy does it snap some beautiful, precise and clear photos!!! And the absolute best thing, it's music player... one of the best i've ever come across... If you quite tight on the price of brand new phones... try to look for a good one and you'll be rocking!!!

It's 3 years I'm using N95 8GB. It has fantastic sound quality esp when plyaing by speakers. when you select stereo widwning, you can grasp its true sound quality. Sounds seem come from anywhere other than speakers. but Symbian OS is nat as user-friendly & fast as other OS's in the market. 206 MGhertz is a bit inadequate for such kind of phone esp when surfin webs and in multi-tasking. anyway there are lots of merits having this phone overshadowing its slight demerits!!!

Nokia N95 8GB is the best phone I have ever used. Apart of a few loss of key stroke colouring, I am not ready to upgrade or try touch screen. I have no problems with both hardware and softwares. I have dropped it a few times, even forgot it on my car roof and drove off, just a little scratch. I use it for almost everything; ebooks, audiobooks, music, video, internet searches, games etc.

Don't worry. "Memory is not enough" msg shows up when u have installed any new application, maybe some system conflict with it. Uninstall one app at a time starting with the most recent installed one. Check if the problem is gone. Still there? Uninstall another, check again. This way, u can identify the app at fault and avaid formating. U can then reinstall other apps u removed. Remember, its ur choice, either do away with that app that started the problem, or if that thing is really useful to u, then look out for alternative apps serving the same purpose. Or jus grin n bear the msg.

hi to answer your question you just press the little camera button on the side of the phone as if you are gonna take a picture, when the camera is on picture mode you will see on the right side of the screen a little camera right above the A thats to record video,all you do after is press the black square button in the middle,if you want to see what you recorded press the menu button then you look for gallery press that and it brings you to images and video,your videos will be there , good luck !!!!!

Because it's a sliding phone, the screen easily gets faulty if not handle with care. I love my N95 8GB. I use it as hotspot at home and I do constantly voip calls thanks to its native integration with the phone. Google latitude is always running in background. System crashes occurs ocasionally requiring restart but taking into account that I make heavy use (voip + hostpot + latitude always on), I think it's acceptable taking into account this is a 2007 model and in that time iPhone was a mere monotask toy.

hey guys just sold mine for 125 bucks after 3 years of usage. the reason was it was getting old, the skin was peeling off all around. other than that it was my first and the best cell-phone i ever used. i dropped it on concrete surfaces, road, in the house, on metal surfaces, name any worst situation and it still survived through all these endeavors!!! i LOVED the battery life and will miss it as most of the phone in the market have to be charged every other day. the camera was great as well. the only complain, the software started to lag but opther than that excellent sound volume, memory and shape. if you are looking for n95 origional made 8gb you just have to look arounf online ad sites like e-bay, amazon, craiglist, kijiji etc... but dont pay more than 150 bucks for used n95 8gb as the technology is 4 years old.

i tell you to choose N95 8GB. It have a OS (symbian) and there are lot of 3rd part applications for it. It have a bigger display with open vew angle (and i don't understand why a "smartphone" is made with a little display when it have GPS, Wi-fi, 3g camera...etc ), N95 have 3.5 jack, n-gage games, is much powerful, it have Graphic accelerator (for 3rd part app too...movies 700mb with subtitles...etc).

I'm really confused in selecting between Nokia N95 8Gb and Sony Ericsson Elm. (I don't have much technical knowledge) I've read that Elm has the latest technology while N95 has somewhat old technology. Except that all other things are same but Heard that N95's GPS doesn't support to any 3rd party app. Is it true? But when I comparing both phone's specifications, N95 has much positive comments than Elm has. And both has same positive comments about camera. In my view, the N95 8gb is so good, had mine since 2008 now and not wanted to upgrade. Easy to use and robust, took mine in the rainforests of borneo for a week and it did very well. Also had an N73, no contest on an N95 8gb.

the only way to increase gps signal is by only gps hack...you have to mod the phone..in youtube show how...it's really work...my N95 lock signal in second...even in heavy rain..it still receive signal..kinda cool...now my N95 is back in action..with garmin mobile XT...you better try it...

I have been using it for 2 1/2 yrs. now and it is a very good phone! Gets a little slow after installing many applications (but that�s just me). Disadvantages: #No full free navigation software pre-installed (free navigation for 3 months). #Doesn't have a touch screen. #It's a big phone. But it has hardware and power to compete at a good level with the current phones on the market (March 2011).

Helo...my n95 have a problem..i recently update the firmware from version 15 to 31 using nokia software updater..the main problem after i update it..it cannot lock any sattelite reception for gps..its totaly upset me..even using a-gps..not a single bar are connected..even i put it at open area for the whole day..not like before i update it..it locked the satelite in just 30sec..i don't know if someone have this problem after update it..does anyone?

What price should had the n95 in 2008 with all features that you mention? 1000 eu?. Look at the price of N8... There are 3rd part application for make it a mini PC and more. (chat - msn, Y!, skype, gtalk,FB- with sending files, voice-video call/ avi player without convertion- 700mb movies with subtitle, thanks to GPU/game console-full accelerometer- N-Gage 2 and augument games with rock'n scroll, thanks to GPU-/ better GPS -like tom tom, garmin-)/ the audio quality is brilliant, better than omnia II with 5.1 emulation or some nokia ME-XM, 360' photos capable at 5mp x 12 shots and auto focus -not fixed focus-/youtube full compatible / office editor/ universal Irda remote control/TV online -spb tv-/..a lot, a lot of 3rd part app. but still needs more developers. I personally don't like n900 for one reason: the OS. It have strong, brilliant features BUT it have Maemo 5 OS and there are not so many developers on this OS.

you DON'T NEED more mass memory to a smart phone. In my opinion 8GB is enough. I have droopy's cartoons, 3 movies(700mb each), 450 photos, applications, More memory needs the HDMI compatible phones. The disadvantage is that you need the cable all the time when you want to copy something on the mass memory (vs. Micro SD phones ...SD adapter and Lap-Top)

Had it for a year. very reliable phone. Finds me work via GPS, entertain in trains, buses. works with most wifi gadgets, used as a universal remote Camera is good and gets the job done. Mind you it can put some of the 8MP cameras to shame like.....Xperia...LMAO. Not even the Iphone 3GS has a video conferencing feature, ON A 3G phone. I think this is the best communication centered phone with no touchscreen

I just bought the Nexus S after using the N95 for close to 3 years. I love the N95. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it on the streets and it still works the same as the day I bought it. No doubt its one of the most solidly built phones I have ever come across. After upgrading, I still value it so much I refused to sell it. Comparing it with my Nexus S is hard but I can honestly say: aside from Andriod being superior to Symbian, the browsing interface is the only real upgrade. Although I've always had internet on my N95, i seldom used it because it was a bitch to navigate and get the right screen size and stuff. If you are not willing to spend the money on a top tier phone, go with this. Its a smart buy.

hey guys,do u know the n95 8gb can run pc type games of 150mb and above?.for u to play this games just go to (smartlip.com).though the website is in Russian language just follow the direction given below -smartlip.com -symbian -OPENBOR -zip files.u need to download the OPENBOR EMULATOR and install on ur memcard.download the game zip files and extract the .pak files from the zip files to openbor folder which is created after installing the openbor.sisx emulator.inside the openbor folder in memcard put the .pak files inside another sub folder called paks.go to application open and select a game and enjoy!!!

this is a great phone, fantastic for photo and video Nothing compares except the new touch phones, and I'll miss hard buttons for one hand text input. But my memory is full and I am worried the phone will eventually crash due to being old It has survived many drops and being dried out after being in a puddle of water. It offer charging daily but is constantly on wifi The buttons are noisy to use if your husband is trying to sleep! I would never change phones if I could get more memory!

I love this phone. Just download the application called FRING in ovi store and you can do video calling. trust me, i've done it already. I am using it already. as long as you are At&t, it gives a 3g connections. you can go anywhere without using wifi. If you do not have internet, just download the apps too and use the wifi at home. just download the FRING and set it to wifi connection.

well, for all of you who hadn't find a proper theme for your n 95 8 GB, i sugest you one nice & proper theme. And it very light for your phone. It's a theme called " N_96_Special_Edition " & it appears when the update of the firmware of the nokia n 96 it's made. After i saw this theme on the n 96 of my friend, i searched on google & i found it & it worked for my n 95 8 GB. All you have to do, is search in google(pc possible) with these words "N_96_Special_Edition" and in the first row you click and download the theme. I'm using myself this theme and it's worth it. Give it a try, you wont regret it.

Enan, you must know how to hack your mobile in order to perform well... Ok, if you cant do follow the procedure of hacking the system of your n95 8gb, all your fave appz must have a certificate signed applicable to it... Go to apply for a certificate.. After 24 hours request certificate is done... All u have to do is Upload and Download your wanted appz for ur phone.

Excellent overall phone, camera very sharp, signal reception unbeatable...never dropped a call ever...my blackberry friends can't claim that one. Only one minor complaint is that the gps is fairly weak to pick up satalites indoors/in vehicle. Still an outstanding Nokia product as usual.

Hey Bilal, On your n95 you have 2 types of memory, C: (1GB) and Mass memory (7GB). Go to File manager, open the C: and you will see that you have some file in there, you need to move all your pics, music, videos etc from the C: to the mass memory.

I have had this phone for over 3 years now, I bought it when it first came out. I have had such a wonderful experience with this phone. I have dropped it so many times, even out of my car, and it has always worked perfectly. My daughter has beat the crap out of it as well and it's still kickin. Only in the last week or two have I had any issues. Though the issues are driving me to get a new phone :( The screen has been scrambling and the backlight doesn't work so well anymore. This has been the best cell phone I have ever owned, and I believe it is better than any of my friends, as well. The things it can do and the way it runs are just amazing. I wish I didn't have to get a new phone, owning this one has set the bar, it STILL has a better camera than many of the new ones coming out. I don't even know what new phone to buy now, as so many of then are STILL slacking behind this one in many ways...

If Y have garmin navigation 5.xx than your battery lost rapidly power. I had that problem, but when I install garmin 4.xx, my battery life is much longer, minimum 3 days!

After 3 years of usage, it's just developed a dodgy on/off button. Its become unresponsive through wear. Everything else still works like new. I still get a week out of the battery before it needs charging again. Probably upgrade to n8 but I know that phones battery wont last as long betwen charges. Hey, I have a problem and am sure your guys could give me a hand. As advertised, the N95 battery ((BL-6F 3.7V) has a standby time of 280 hours and a talk time of 6 hours. I've been using my N95 for almost 2 years, and unfortunately, the standby time now has become only around 14 hours before the "bib" signal (low battery) sounds. About the talk time, needless to say, it went down to only about an hour. At first I though it was the battery that may have become old and I changed to a new battery, but it doesn't help at all. You are right my friend. The design of N95 is a bit fatty but its not that much which cant even fit in your pocket. i can even put it in my tightest jeans. with no problem. The slide design makes it much smaller and comfortable. Some one have just made a theory tht it cant fit in your Pocket. If you see a little closer, N95 was a big change and nothing new in phones these days, just a touch UI and more enhanced features, tht are all available in N95 since 2008. Like these days, almost every mobile have 5mp camera where N95 got it since 3 years. Free GPS which is still not available in other then Nokia phones. So, in my openion, N95 is still King of mobiles, Nokia just need more software developers.

Thanks for the reply. Now it is very clear to me that N95 8gb has decibel limit for ear safety. Before, I tested my co worker's headset that he used in his ipod classic to my n95 8gb but the volume does not improved much. The headset i tested was not the default headset of the ipod classic but a philips branded headset. The output was very good in quality and it was also loud in his ipod classic. I can't test my headset from my 6267 to my n95 8gb bec. it's only a 2.5 mm jack. The sound is loud(headset) in my 6267 but the quality is better than my n95 8gb. What can you say about the sound (volume} of 5800 xm in headset? Is it safe to assume that it is louder than n95 8gb bec. it is a express music phone?

As i said, i'm using Sony Twin turbo headset (mdr eb818). This model ROCKKSS!!!!The Nokia headset is on the N95 kit-box.It is a big difference between the N95 nokia headset and the Sony. Yes, the volume increasing a little but the quality of Sony is much better, far away from any nokia headset. I'm satisfied about the combination of N95 and MDR-818, the volume is not very loud but is ok, it covers the ambient sound even if you are on the center city's street. i make it clear: The N95 have the decibel limit for the ear safety.

I tested my headset from a sony walkman but the default headset of my phone was better and louder. I have a nokia 6267 and the volume was louder than my n95 8gb. Some of portable mp3 audio systems have standards about decibels, and i mean some of the tape walkman,CD Players, mp3 players,mobiles,headphones radio, mp4 players, etc. Is a rule made to protect the ears...some products have the rule some other does not, is not a law. Ipod respect this rule. I had once a Sony CD Player (D-FJ401 made in japan) and it has AVSL audio function and in the technical book was a certificate about the safety of ears.You should hear that volume! :P Is an inconvenient but is for our own safety. is like the seat belt. I have a little cube MP3 player with big volume but i don't listen more than 20 min,and sometimes i listen 4-5 continuous with my n95. I have Sony Twin Turbo and i hate concepts like Sony MDR-EX90 (internal rubber)When i want loud music, i have my Dolby sound system. p.s.- there are some symbian mp3 players, but i didn't test them (ogg play for ex.)but i think you will lose the buttons control. cheers!

Haaa?? Put one of this phone... Omnia HD or HTC HD or N8, 5530/5800... in a pocket and n95 8gb in the other one and you will see that n95 is more comfortable even if is not slim, but is smaller! For what you think is made slider design?? And N95 have a bad sound? You wrong my friend, maybe you listen a Chinese one...but the original is better/or equivalent than a lot of nokia XM or ME edition. anyway the n73 is the king of music edition.

It's only 1 thing that i don't undestand, here at gsm-arena ip says that his processor is 332 Mhz, but my phone has only 206 MHz (you can check it with various program, & one of them is X-plorer, / tools/device info). I don't know why is that, mabye becuse my phone isn't a phone produced in finland, please, can you check it on your phone? & could you check together what's the 7 and 8 numbers of your imei? Which is smoother when playing DivX videos using DivX Player or Core Player (various resolution & bitrate) between Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N86 8MP & Nokia E72? I hope TI OMAP 2420 chipset with PowerVR MBX GPU on Nokia N95 8GB will makes the difference although N95 8GB only have 332 MHz ARM 1136 CPU against 434 MHz on N86 8MP & 600 MHz on E72, coz I saw 434 MHz ARM 1136 CPU on my sister's Nokia C6-00 (same CPU with N86 8MP) can't match my Nokia 6120c when playing DivX video and I'm planning to change my phone with one of them..

Well, if you have the lock code, you can type in the screec *#7370# & then enter the lock code( if you don't know the lock code, by default it is 12345, for almost nokia phone) If you dont have the lock code, or if you missed, then turn your phone off. then in the same time keep pressing these buttons : *, 3, the key answer, and in the same time press the "switch on" button and keep it press until it says "phone formating"( repet this if the firet time wan't work). The N8 seems to be like u told, but its not available in Pakistan yet, so, i dont know hw it is but the specs are same as N95 with more advance technology like 12 mp camera, 5mp in N95 3D acclerator Accleratometer TV out put HD video playback etc ... Every thing is same but enhanced.

play any song u like, go to options in media player. go to equalizer,set equalizer to 'jazz'. now in options menu, go to audio settings. turn on loudness and stereo widening. '''this should help u to get digital stereo sound''' u can change these as u like. im using simple one and told u my sound settings. and its much better and gives u real surround sound, espacially when music is instrumental.

Just upgraded to Nokia N97 Mini, but its not even close to this king... I miss my N95 8gb... Best phone ever... I hope and pray Nokia brings out this phone again with touchscreen and other advanced features... What a phone.. What a phone..!!

Yes...but some of the applications costs :(. I'm using Sygic for my country as my GPS default app(is like that car dedicated GPS receiver, with a lot of options, functions, simulations, etc).You can find Garmin TX, Tom Tom ,Route 66, Nav'n GO too. But the nokia maps is average . Supporting "satellite view"too. The Google Maps is very detailed :-o. i am able to find every church, hotel, supermarket, even mini-market, memorial statue or houses, parks,schools, public institute. Supports "satellite view" too but is week in options, directions, voices,have no simulation and the biggest disadvantage: DEPENDENT OF INTERNET (to load the maps) Is free to receive the signal of GPS satellite.

HI i have been using N95 since last two and half years. it was very good but lated on I felt that its sound volume has decreased. plus there is problem with video recording such as stopping for a moment after recording for a few seconds. besides it gets hanged very frequently. please let me know if it is the problem only with my set or common to all. i have to mention that i have bought it from India. thanks every body.

Same model, the n95 8gb or if you want a touchscreen, buy the C6, or better C6-01 or N8 .If you want something with touchscreen ,with a low price you will not find something equivalent than n95 8g or better in performance, only in some features. Try S-E Satio.

They are just perfect!!!! Sound is equivalent or better than some XM or ME nokia mobiles, iven more advantage (dedicated player keys) muhahha! N95 8GB is the king in music, (N73 too)!

From last 3years i'm using this phone. By my use experience i should say that 'NOKIA IS NOKIA' because till today it's performance is same as it's first day performance. I use it atleast 8hrs a day for internet browsing+lot of talking+long music playback+gaming +camera use+etc, i'm very rough and tough user of this phone and not even updated it's software once but till today it's my favorite set because as per me it's world's most best,reliable and smart set ..

Yes, you have 100% right. The n97 is not better in performance than N95 8GB. In fact is lower. After some documentation i see that N97 fail with the accelerator graphic. Is not active for 3rd part applications, only for N-Gage and some original Nokia software.That's why we will not see it in gsmarena's specifications.The N95 accelerator graph. works in all application that needs it.(example. "augument" games, or avi PC movies with subtitles - 700 MB 680x340 res.). But N97 have more features (bigger display, touchscreen, full querty, nice design, new model). My opinion...n95 8GB is still the king between N95 vs. N97. n97 is for touchscreen lovers with good prices/quality offer.

Though i love the looks of n97 it does not have a good feedback from its users. They say that the n97 hangs a lot and have a lot of bugs. From what i had read, the n97 was considered a failure from nokia. Can you give me your arguments or proofs how n97 can edge the n95 8gb? I prefer the dual arm 11 332 MHz processor and 3d graphics HW accelerator of n95 8gb than n97's arm 11 434 MHz processor. What can you say about this?

just wanna say that this is phone is the best phone i ever used. its a real MONSTER its a TANK, i dropped it thousands of times and its still working, its battery still great even after more than 2 years of using, cool sound quality and amazing screen. for non-touchscreen phones just get the n95 8Gb its the best phone that nokia ever made,i will buy a new touchscreen phone but will keep my king with me :)))

I did not say n82 and n86 are higher than n95 8gb. I only said that it can match n95 8gb in camera and video department and that they are both better than 6700 slide. In my opinion only n8 and n900 [for touchscreen phones] can edged n95 8gb.

N82 is lower than N95 8GB, only one advantage : xenon flash.....n86 has a 8mpx camera but a smaller display. I think, for a non-touchscreen phone n95 8g is the best deal....for touchscreen..c6, n97, n8 is better than n95 8gb...

Aside from n900, you can also consider n8. It is much newer than n900. It is considered nokia's latest flagship phone. You can check the specs here at gsm arena. If i were to choose between these 2 phones i will choose n8.

If you are not into touchscreen and liked good camera and video that can match the n95 8gb then i suggest you to look at n82 and n86. These 2 phones are surely better than 6700 slide.

Hi I would say that the n900 is great lastest in the nokia range next to x2 and so on but n900 is completely touch screen so if you used a touch screen before then go for the n900 if not it will take time to getting used to

I am looking for a decent replacement for my N95, The phone is great, but nokia has not made anything like it again, not even similar... I am about to buy the same phone again cause it is falling apart now, but I am not into big delicated touch screens, I like all the keys this one have... they are very usefull. I was looking into the 6700 slide but camera have less quality and video too... I dont care about wifi cause I have unlimited internet. Any sugestions? I am about to try out some other brand.

I don't know if there are phones that are capable of that. I mean if you delete something you can restore it again. My n95 8gb does not have that capability. I don't know if other users had discovered otherwise. As for my phone it does not have that capability.
