OnePlus 6T - User Reviews

  • Hi guys Can someone tell me 6t Android 10 update released And anyone updated as I have purchased the phone from Dubai As I have still not got the update till now Thanks

  • How is the screen on time compared to the previous update?

  • Don't update battery drains fast and camera is not that good when we compare with previous pie version update hope they will update in next rollout.. when u play games for 15 to 20 minutes you'll find heating issues near camera

  • Sounds like your front glass was replaced by a third party and wasn't the best.

  • im geeting one now for 300 $

  • Very good phone... excellent

  • Hello Guys, Need your help. There are dusts inside the Selfie Cam of my 6T. Can anyone guide me how I can get rid of those dusts in my Selfie Camera? Is this a common problem for 6T?

  • Im pretty sure to get Oneplus6T better, Mi9TPro on my country or area have a bad signal receiption, laggy on playing online games on cellular. Im more trusted on Oneplus

  • OP6T or XIAOMI 9MiT who Amoled is better , who has a better video camera, and who has a longer software upgrade essentially who is a better cell phone. It would cost me OP6T 292 Euros and a Mi9T 308 Euros on subscription.

  • Yes, it does.

  • Oneplus 6t comes with dongle???

  • What is the difference between the quality of the optical Amoled with the OP6T and the Dynamic Amoled with the Samsung S10 and the quality of the OP6T video camera, these two things are very important to me.

  • Oneplus 6t is awesome phone, battery, screen, speed, even camera is solid. It not the best phone in the world you know, but i say take it.

  • Does anyone have an OP6T, please honestly and realistically all the virtues and disadvantages of this mobile phone in Croatia with TELE2 provider to extend my subscription to 24 months would cost me 297 euros. Read carefully ...

  • amazon

  • Where we buy one 6t

  • What to take from these three phones the Xiaomi Mi9t 308 euro Oneplus 6T 292 euro Samsung S10e 454 euro and why .......

  • Oneplus 7

  • Take OP 6t if u have budget. But i would prefer op7 but it doesn't come with dongle in the box....

  • OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7, Honor Play or Huawei Mate 20 lite ?

  • How to know my one plus 7 is original or fake?

  • what about the battery life, what has been your average screen on time ?

  • Go for oneplus type c earphones i'm using it for my Oneplus 7.. sound quality very good and base is good enough.

  • Would you say the 6T has a wider angle lens (FOV) of its rear and front cameras compared to the S9+? Would you also say the 6T's selfie camera is better, more sharper, more natural, more warmer & has better dynamic range?

  • yes. Oneplus 7 would be a better investment.

  • But what about against the cameras of the Galaxy S9+?

  • Yes it is, better camera, sd855, stereo speakers...

  • Would you say the OnePlus 7 is a good incremental update/investment than the 6T?

  • Depends on which ui you like better. On paper the reno is better

  • So currently this 6t 128gb and the 256gb Oppo Reno standard are the same price. Which should I get?

  • Android 10 very soon, end of september, speakers are not stereo and yes it is splash resistant, but no officially

  • Hello. I would like to know... Is the 6T is actually splash-resistant &/or safe in exposure to light rain? Are the speakers actually front-facing stereo speakers? Will Oxygen OS updates continue? and when will Android 10 be released for the 6T?

  • can we use international sim card in one plus 6t

  • you can get them from the oneplus official site

  • 6t camera bter. but op7 camera hmmmmm good. but 6t camera osm

  • Totally agree with anon: I've bought my OnePlus 6T short after its release, so I've had even longer. NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM, NOT ONE! Not to mention I'm glued to it most of the time of day and night. One last thing: since the day I've bought the 6T, I can't help but be always amazed by the sheer power of that little beast of smartphone. Those 8 gigs of RAM are insane. For a dude like me who who likes running analysis of chess endgames at depth 30 + leaving heavy-duty apps running in the background + casually letting google auto-install any other updates... And all that will go just fine with not more than 20% battery!

  • Where can i buy type c to 3.5 mm jack for this phone.. Plz suggest good one

  • K20 pro performance not fast as 6t bcus of OS. have tried 6t more smoother even k20pro using sd855. if want upgrade just buy OP7.

  • After almost one year on the 6t, I have had no issues.

  • try this code *#*#4636#*#*

  • Does this handset support videos in mirror cast mode.?

  • Obviously 6t is better but better get k20 pro or OnePlus 7,these two are way better

  • Sadly my OnePlus 6T never worked properly. The screen would lock at random times, in the middle of typing a text, or even in the middle of shooting a video. Wifi also had issues with dropping and not picking back up saved networks. I reported the issues to OnePlus support. All they did was to tell me to hard reset. I had to do it twice and eventually the wifi issue was cleared. But locking screen issue persisted. I asked for an exchange or for my money back, they refused. Finally they graciously authorized a repair order. OnePlus is being serviced by the Acer center in the US. Now they had my phone for 3 weeks but it is still not repaired. Their tech wrote me: "I sincerely apologize for the delay, but we are still waiting on a solution for your issue from OnePlus." Nothing happened since. OnePlus so far ignored ALL of my emails. Do you realized I paid $600+ for a phone that NEVER worked properly, and that now, I don't even have in my hands anymore? For how long? Lesson learned. Never trust a company that is not established in your country, if you're hoping for any sort of proper customer service.

  • Good phone. The only thing o don't like about the phone is option where you select 2G,3G & 4G. Doesn't have "3G only" option. Has only "2G" and "2G/3G/4G auto".

  • Apply a glass only with oleophobic coating for better touch response.

  • How would you compare Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and One Plus 6T? Which one is better?

  • Its better especially at night.

  • Any suggestions about camera quality after gcam install on OnePlus 6t

  • since it is just a camera looking at your finger, if the tempered glass is clean, there wont be any problem

  • Do you notice any touch issue in pubg

  • Camera quality is very poor. Camera quality is not upto the mark. I visited one plus store and the store representative checked my phone and compared the camera quality with his demo phone. He noticed a significant difference between the two. I request Amazon to replace my phone with a new one as it is evident that this phone has some problems. Amazon Users review - No wonder It's a common problem with all Chinese brands

  • Hello there. I record the screen while I am doing a vdo call on messenger but there is no sound. Why? Please anyone help me. Thanks.

  • I want know after applied the temped glass, finger print in display performance is smooth or reducing the smooth. Anyone please give me an opinion for me.

  • I got this phone(the 6GB Ram version) 3 weeks ago. I am impressed and satisfied. Very fast charging, long lasting battery, smooth and fast. The picture quality is not the best but way above average. I love the phone.

  • Redmi k20 is a better choice

  • With my OP 6T in hand I don't worry about anything else. It's a massive piece of device. Great work.

  • I haven't noticed any improvements after the latest update, the fingerprint scanner works as it did earlier. Pretty much all issues are caused by dirty/wet fingers, but even with clean/dry it won't read every single time.

  • The new update on the 6T has really improved the fingerprint sensor's speed, it is now blazing fast like the OP 5's fingerprint in the front. There has been some improvements in the camera too. The Nightscape is almost as good as the Pixel's Night Sight. Though OP should've reduced the noise a little bit, but otherwise it's quite good. The battery life even after 10 months is still good. The front camera had improved a bit along the rear ones. The portrait mode sometimes finds hard to separate the background with the foreground, but that's OK

  • I have been using a oneplus device since 2017, I had a oneplus 5t before, i can say its the best android phone i ever owned, super long battery life and performance, And i decided to upgrade to the 6t, best decision of my life

  • Hi my brother is thinking to buy oneplus t6 duos 128 gb for 120€ what you can tell me for this phone and especialy the price becouse i can see this device costs much.

  • I have been using OnePlus 6T since March 2019. I am using the 6GB ram version. The phone is very smooth when it comes to gaming. I have played high end graphics games such as PUBG, ASPHLAT very smoothly. The battery is very durable. I usually end up with 20% charge after a day of heavy use. It is a great flagship phone.

  • What do u tking about, ios is trash, android, especially oxygen is way better OS.

  • I have to say, coming from an apple device (albeit a very very old one) I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this device. I love the screen and its speed. I'm also very impressed by the facial recognition software. The only down size is that its a tad too big and it runs android. Despite how wonderful the other specs are I cannot get over the inefficiency of android platforms and the lack of thought given to user experience. Basically, I'm in love with the hardware but wish it was running an iOS system.

  • Don't think of coming back to oneplus. Go from here. You're most welcomed to leave Oneplus community

  • Which app?? Nd which update??

  • I m using OnePlus 6t , waste of money always some issue with applications. And updates .

  • which one is best oneplus 6t or 7 ?

  • Its solid, with gcam better in lowlight.

  • What about the camera quality of oneplus 6t?

  • i am planning to purchase Oneplus 6T, please give me your advice abt this phone is it price worth

  • Oneplus 6t, its a beast

  • Mi 9

  • What about regular updates, oneplus provides regular updates, mi wont, they provide security updates 3months gap

  • 55watt Charger,bt Headphone Of Sony And With I Phone Xs Max

  • which you prefer to buy oneplus 6t or Nokia 8 Sirocco

  • mi 9 is the best by specs, i own it and i think its the best of those 3.

  • 6t is the best phone

  • Or install the Google Camera & save money.

  • Go for Galaxy S9/S9+

  • This one or xiaimi mi9 or galaxy S9???

  • Performance and Feature wise difference between OP 6T Vs OP7 ?

  • Thankyou for writing a wonderful and helpful Information.

  • If you want a better camera experience. Go for the S9+

  • the one you will never own...

  • What are the other accessories on the box when ordered through amazon?

  • In fact u r right. but I think u can use OnePlus 6t with Google Cam.

  • I'm finding it difficult to choose between the 6T or the 7. Are the improvements incremental or a worthy upgrade especially the camera quality, speakers & performance?

  • Which has a far better selfie & front camera in terms of overall stabilization, dynamic range, lowlight & overall quality: Galaxy S9+ stock camera or OnePlus 6T with GCam apk?

  • I experience that screen LCD frame easy break.

  • for displaay and camera, well its far off a samsung flagship. but look at the price. quality build, i don't think you can physically tell the difference.

  • Nokia 8.1 Camera is better

  • Is oneplus 6t camera is better or equal to nokia 8.1.

  • both have exactly the same price which starting at 32,999/- ... 6t has 845 where 7 has 855 latest flagship soc by Qualcomm. now the choice is simple...

  • obvious 1+7

  • Any suggestions 6T or 7 which one is good???

  • Full Specs. and you dont bother tell wifi, if it is 2x2 1x1, 3x3 or what. This is just joke.

  • Used Oneplus 6T for a while, Display, Built quality, Sounds are not good compared to samsung. Battery life of this phone is amazing, It holds 30% of battery after 1.5 days of average use for me. Camera is more likely to samsung's, but after installing Google camera app it's far better than samsung. OS is very smooth and lagging free.

  • He will suffer with the battery performance.

  • every model of one plus satisfied me from one plus 1 to one plus 7 pro

  • oneplus

  • How bout mi9

  • If you want power, performance, good battery, fast charging and modern design then go with the OnePlus 6T. If you want camera performance and more years of updates then go for the Pixel 3a.

  • Yes, it is splash proof with no IP rating.

  • I own the same phone and it well handles day to day easy drops. Don't post untrue opinions please. Thank you.

  • Oneplus 6t / pixel 3a / Mi9 (128gb). Which one is better?

  • which is the best mobile in 2019?

  • Go for s10e as it has a high video resolution quality and u re used to the samsungs software but 6t's OS software is easy to use.

  • I think every month or every while :)

  • Front screen glass easly break in my experience so disappointed.

  • That's matte black version, hence it looks like aluminum

  • guys the phone got aluminum back not glass (got different variants ?)

  • No

  • nice phone :)

  • Which accessories are with One+ 6T?

  • Is this device water proof?

  • Yes...it has been dropped already, but on Amazon for prime users only

  • If this phone has ip68 it will be great but😤.

  • 185g is not even heavy.

  • I upgraded from my trusty 3T to a 6T this week and I'm very impressed so far. The responses are so quick and the display is so crisp. Even the additional size and weight is unnoticeable compared to the 3T.

  • I have OnePlus 5 and now using S10e for the second day. Both phones are fast (Antutu: OnePlus 210k, S10e 330k), but i would prefer buying OnePlus.

  • 6.53 oz, it would make a great boat anchor.

  • Guys i need your help. Should i buy the s10e snapdragon or the oneplus 6t. Im not a gamer but i do watch a lot of videos on youtube and also a lot of films. The notch or the hole punch is not a problem for me except the headphone jack(there isnt one on 6t). Price is also not a problem since there is not auch a big difference. I am currently on my note 4 wich is very old and its battery is shit. Also the oneplus os can be a little bit kf a problem for me because im used to samsung. Thank you very much.

  • How long Oneplus devices receive android updates?

  • will the price drop upon Oneplus7 launch?

  • Thank you for ur valuable suggestion...ha,,,,,haaa

  • Seems like a good phone But just confused OnePlus 6t or poco f1

  • china is recording for you anyway

  • if that's the case then company and govt of respective countries would have banned it uhh!!

  • SAR values of Oneplus 6T are 1.6W/kg (head) and 1.3W/kg (body). It's like carrying Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the pocket :-((

  • i am users one plus..i already used about 5 months..i am liked it..

  • can we record voice while calling automatically?!

  • Change the display callibration to Adaptive instead of default....It will be ok

  • Do little bit more reading and you'll be there my dear.

  • It is but doesn’t have an official IP rating

  • No it is not, its your risk to check it out.

  • It is water resistant but no IP rating as it adds up to 30 USD on total price.

  • No.

  • Hi all. I am trying to get rid of my old Galaxy S8+ due to its disappointing selfie camera. Have been doing my own research and here are my observations and queries: 1. Most photos taken on both camera are on the cooler side. Is there a way to control the temperature of the cameras? (prefer neutral or warmer tones) 2. There is a noticeable wobble in videos taken and video stabilization isn't great/convincing enough. 3. The bokeh effect/portrait mode leaves the background washed out and blown out. 4. There is a considerable oversharpening going on in the photos. 5. The audio recorded seems tinny and sounding mono, not stereo. Has there been any updates to address these issues that I have researched so far? Would appreciate your thoughts & comments please. Cheers.

  • Is it water waterproof

  • No.

  • there is no memory card slot, bro. Just a tray for 2 sims.

  • Is memory card slot is used by second sim card slot?

  • Read what PWM means.

  • yeah ofc he is.. even wireless charging they dont want add.. wtf are they doing in that company ? lol... the op7 phone will be so ugly with popup camera...

  • Samsung and LG have managed to put bigger batteries in their phones without sacrificing headphone jack. Carl Pei is full of cr*p

  • Please tell me what did you do solution please I really don't understand how comes

  • Yes, even I'm facing the same problem, I'm getting severe headache

  • Hi guys Need advice is this possible that whilst using OnePlus 6t you get eye strain which causes headache As IAM using one which I purchased from Dubai should be Chinese as I don't think there is any global version. Please advise is it true it has eye strain issues As I have used mostly Samsung and huawei never faced this problem Please advise Thanks

  • fingerprint scanner is not secure, see this video, it easy fooled the 6t scanner and not the galaxy s10.. wow oneplus this is really bad...

  • Enlight me that this phone has more radiation and more sar value ... Is it okay to buy or its safe to not purchase ? Guide me

  • Actually, this is the first time to comment about a device... I had changed many devices last 3 months.... My first device was pixel 2 XL and I love it and I changed it with s9 plus but I can't stay with Samsung more than month ...and now using op6t 8 Ram ..and I like it...more even it has less features than s9 plus ...but why? 1. The user interface 2. The Snapdragon much better than exynos 3. The LTE or WiFi connection is much better 4. No laggs at all. 5. Connecting with my car is much better,as displays my music playlist in my car screen ,both pixel and s9 plus don't have this feature What I miss 1. A stereo speakers 2. Accessories in my country

  • Xiaomi's Mi9 spots the SD855 and it's also cheeper so the comparison doesn't stand.

  • Hello. I am confused between OP6T & Galaxy Note 9. Price difference is not an issue. Apart from that which one would be better & why? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

  • In-display sensor seems fine to me, fairly quick. It might not be as -fast- as traditional ones but we're talking fractions of a second. Apparently it continues to build your finger profile as you use it to unlock - making it faster/more accurate on subsequent attempts. It's working for for me and it's only be 12 hours.

  • Beware: direct competitor Mi 9 hitting the market, and price of 6T will be slashed. In the low end flagship area, the cost cutting Mi 9 might outsell cost cutting 6T. Both cut cost in similar ways: don't add SD card, no IP, no QC, no LED, no Qi (6T), pathetic USB2 transfers. When I analyzed the price of 6T i realized it is more expensive than Note9/S10 if you calculate all the extra hardware and software efforts put by Samsung, and the cost of licences. So next time when you look at the price tag, consider you're buying low end flagship with hell of a cost cutting. You can't "save money" if you buying something without missing features.

  • Yes it is very good.

  • I'm going to buy OP 6T..Someone pls advice me regarding Display Fingerprint sensor..How it was..its better to buy OP6T..?!

  • But it is not ip ratings 68. No stereo speakers. Pop up camera is one dey may pop up 200 , 300 times. Every face unlock it work . That's why may be battery drain fast

  • Oneplus 6 T is the best

  • Honest opinion, Oneplus 6T has lost it edge if it continue to sell at this expensive price, yet they are actually much less feature than, say a 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 that is same price or slightly cheaper than 128GB of Oneplus 6T in my region. The only benefit of Oneplus 6T is the fluid near stock UI and the proprietary Dash Charge that is much faster to charge, but the rest win out by Samsung Galaxy Note 9 if you really want a capable camera, 3.5mm jack, Micro SD slot, wireless charging, S-Pen, slightly bigger battery, real IP68 rating. Screen I call it a draw, 2K or Full HD is perfectly sharp, then curve screen some may like it, some may hate it. It is a fight between more quality features than a smartphone that focus on near stock UI and cheaper launching price. Of course if I must let go Samsung, I will choose the cheaper Oneplus 6, which at some import market is half price of a whole new Oneplus 6T, or might consider the Xiaomi Mi8

  • Try this instead,

  • 1+6t

  • It's not 100 % accurate, I get some misreads every now and then. But like 8 times out of ten works great. Face Unlock is so damn fast that usually you unlock the phone by using that before you've tried to make it read your fingerprint again. After a few days of usage, I like this phone quite a lot. Camera is nothing special, but otherwise it's a good purchase. Battery life seems good too, from what I've experienced so far. UI is amazingly fast even with animations on, but I will disable those due to personal preference. Speaker sound is what you expect to get from a tiny speaker, crappy. I always pair my phone with my AV amp or use headphones, so I couldn't care less about this "issue". Notifications etc. are clear and loud.

  • Have had the OnePlus 6T since November 3, 2018 and it is an OK phone. It takes IMO sweet pictures and the fingerprint scanner and Face ID have come a long way since the phone's release. Is it fast and responsive? Yes. However... My phone began freezing several times a day and the only recourse was to attempt - sometimes didn't work a hard reset. Eventually bought "or purchased" a different case - it comes with a free case and screen protector, and the problem seemed to go away. That lasted about a week. My particular phone seems to behave according to the weather and what I mean by that is when in a warmer environment room or outside (I am in California), the freezing becomes more noticeable. I don't have many background running apps and not a gamer. Am I unhappy with the device? Yeah, sometimes and was leaning towards getting an iPhone but the OnePlus for many reasons was my choice. At least one thing is cool, seeing as the folks at OnePlus have stated that the phone would have 2 years of Android updates, I won't have to think about getting another device - unless my current phone kicks the proverbial bucket...

  • Not one problem with the on screen fingerprint. Now, one thing I have observed... When I first purchased this, middle of December, I did NOT have the face ID turned on. Fingerprint is VERY responsive. In February, I was playing around with the phone, activated the Face ID. One thing I have noticed, is if you pick up the phone, the display lights up, and you try to use the fingerprint, at the same time you are looking at the phone, there is a slight delay, or the "face not detected" note pops up. My theory would be, it's getting data from both the Face ID & fingerprint sensor at the same time, and might be a bit confused. I have found if I just pick up the phone, look at it, it unlocks immediately. If I place my finger on the fingerprint sensor, it unlocks immediately.

  • i analysed this mobile feature as very best right now period, but unfortunately somebody said the main drop back was figure print. can u please suggest any one about this figure print issues

  • One plus 6t or Lg V40 .. and why . please suggest .. thank you so much

  • Considering all facts Display:Note 8 much better than one plus 6t even though it has got more display to use. Camera:Note 8s camera is still better than one plus 6ts but i would like to give it a draw since one plus have got that night sight. Battery:Here the one plus 6t knock outs Note 8 easily since the 6t got faster charging speed and longer battery life.Note 8s is not bad it's going to last you a day if you are not a heavy gamer. Software:It's upto your personal preference Note 8 got the latest android pie with samsung's one ui skin which i kind a like on the other hand one plus 6t got the android pie with stock android and oxygen os which is smooth as silk and one plus 6t is going to get the major andoroid update till 2020 which is strong considering point. Processor:Both of them got execllent power in their tank Note 8 with the older snapdragon 835 or exynos 8920 and one plus 6t with the snapdragon 845 here the oneplus 6t beats the Note 8. Considering all the facts its upto your personal preference what you want.7/10 agreed to go for the note 8 since it is much more reliable than one plus.

  • Should i buy iphone 7 or 1+6t

  • Alright, looks like I'll be an OnePlus owner/user soon. Hopefully this is a good device, but I do have my right to return it if it's not for me. Only thing that bothers me is the camera, but Mate 20 Pro would've cost me a lot more.

  • Are you posting this from the future?

  • You should try the cherrymobile or myphone

  • Should i buy this phone in 2020?

  • It is a great phone. Very fast and precise. The in-screen finger scanner is fast and precise if you use it without a screen protector.

  • good too..,thakz for ur suggestion ;)

  • You both have both suffered by radiation of OnePlus 6T. S9+ SAR value is 0.29 w/kg OnePlus 6T SAR value is 1.55 W/Kg

  • The OnePlus 7 will also apparently have a beefed-up 4000mAh battery, which will be powered by 44-watt. "Dash charging". Full charg 15 mint.

  • Yeah same here this the reason why sold it and got S9 plus instaed.

  • S9 plus same price as one plus 6T.

  • Have you had lots of updates since doing this video Dave? Heard of so many good things about this phone. But...heard of not-so good things such as: 1. Overall camera quality could be better especially dynamic range, sharpness, low-light, lossless noise, stabilization & overexposure issues? (comparing to the Galaxy S9s and iPhone XS's and Pixels);. 2. Sound from the speakers is a bit underwhelming? 3. Underwhelming audio when bluetooth headphones connected? What do you think? Thoughts please.

  • Try the cherrymobile

  • The phone itself is rain drop (splash) resistant, and for many of us that's enough. Just don't go swimming with it. For the earphone jack, you can easily get cheap Bluetooth earphones online and since the battery life gets you through the day, there's no need to worry about Bluetooth consuming battery. The quick charge charges 60% in 30 minutes and just that 60% gets me through my daily use. Wireless charging is just not necessary, let's not go there. I have the OnePlus 6T and I'm really happy with it. I charge it every morning before going to school. I wake up, charge it while I'm getting ready and when I'm off to school it fully charged. I connect my Bluetooth earphones and off I am to school.

  • Which one is better in between Samsung g as galaxy note 8 now price dropped to 38k and one plus 6t. Suggest me

  • its great, have been using since a while.

  • Im playing a game on Highest graphics atm. (named Hundred Soul) SoT is always at 6-8hrs maximum, then charge my phone 15% to 100% in just an hour. but right now to make my phone battery healthy, i just go with 25-20% left then charge it.

  • Try to watch some videos bro. They didnt put IP Rating to lessen the cost of their product.

  • come on 1+! i never buy phone without wireless charger and ip68 water resistant. also 3.5 jack should be there and pop up front camera waht should coming all phones!

  • I'm going to buy OP 6T..Someone pls advice me regarding Display Fingerprint sensor..How it was..its better to buy OP6T..?!

  • I will never buy a phone with no ip67/68.

  • really!? what happens if you switch it off at night and check in the morning?

  • Dumb question! its connected to your service provider

  • Stand-by time. The best thing you can do to get around this is turn on Airplane Mode when you're not using the phone, it doesn't exactly get rid of stand-by time but it mitigates it to a point where it becomes nearly nonexistent and the phone should stay at 100% when you're not using it when coupled with Airplane Mode.

  • hey..OP6T is really good for playing heavy games or not and worth it to buy this year?i like OP6T coz have bigger screen..thanks

  • Oneplus 6t is better. You can download a Google cam apk if you want to take better photos

  • Good Product

  • Every phone consumes battery even if it's not used, It's a Stand-by time

  • i found a problem in my one plus 6t. when my phone is fully charged then without use it's charge goes up like my phone was 100% charged at night but in morning I see it comes up to 97/96%. what's the reason behind this?

  • In the end, I think that this is the best option. But the sad thing about that phone is that it has only 4gb of ram in my country, so I don't know is it enough... My last phone is Mate10 pro btw...

  • If you have money, s9+ is the way to go

  • Well then you're clearly using it wrong

  • Mate 20 is a all around GOOD option

  • People, please help me. I can't decide between S9+, Mate 20(not pro) and OP6T. I like OP 6T screen and UI the most, but the camera in lowlight conditions is bothering me... What do you suggest?

  • Good phone for the value, but the camera takes blur photos :(

  • Recently bought a op6t.. Find the amoled display good to view, but get eye strain in 30 minutes which i haven't had with any other phone... did anyone else experience it..

  • sure, IP6T have highest SAR value at all..

  • go to Mi 9 it has SD855 almost same price of 6T

  • @GsmArena,pls update SAR Value of all phones.

  • this the 21st century man, everything's going wireless. and with new phones coming out every 6 months, who needs a replaceable battery!?

  • I can't decide between S9+ and 6T... Everyone is repeating that is OP 6T is the best buy for the money, but not in my case because the price is the same in my country. I owned OP 6 for several days and I was impressed with a speed, but the camera wasn't good as I was expecting and the screen wasn't bright enough at a direct sunlight. Btw my last phone was Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and I really don't know which one from these two should I buy next, so please help me? :)

  • Two flaws: Non removable battery and no 3.5 jack. We are going backwards, gentlemen

  • Between the iPhone XR and the OnePlus6T which device's selfie and rear camera is better in lowlight, quiack autofocus, stabilization (in both cameras), better dynamic range, less noise in zoom & better true to life accurate photos?

  • why don't you try to discover a smart watches, come on 1+, dive into smartwatches market with oxygen OS.if possible.

  • I moved from OP6 to OP6T even thou I knew that difference between those phones is minimal. Still, a good bargain made me do it. First I noticed was better battery life. Camera a bit better nothing special. Teardrop notch is a better way to go than regular notch size on OP6. Performance is the same, same 8/128 version. Gaming also seems the same for me. In display, fingerprint is slower but that doesn't mean a lot to me. If you don't look at cost, take OP6T. If you want to save money, take Op6, same experience.

  • mi mix 3 ofcourse

  • I've got the same problem, if I reinstall it, it works for few minutes and then it stops working. That's crazy, Whatsapp customer service is totally useless.

  • Uninstall and reinstall your WhatsApp, but before you do make sure you backup your messages. BTW, are you rooted?

  • OnePlus 6T or Xiaomi mi mix 3 or Oppo find X ??

  • Nothing like that iam not getting WhatsApp notifications at all battery optimisation does not help I have not pressed anything by mistake all in order Any solution please

  • Used all these phones and all are good phones. But when it comes to screen quality, camera, stereo speakers and better resale value note 9 and iPhone 8 Plus wins easily including S9 plus.

  • Oneplus 6T or Galaxy Note9 or iphone 8 plus??? Please help

  • s9+

  • I'd love to buy one, but I had the ONE PLUS 3T for about a year, one day there was ink all over the screen, I had to wait 6 months for a replacement screen to ship to my country, then now it's the motherboard. I'd rather switch to Samsung where I can readily get replacement parts instead. Such a shame

  • Phone battery drains very fast

  • Most best phone ever i used .

  • perfect device but radiation value is terrible :( your opinions ?

  • No to iphone 7+..... ic charger is worse.... if once fell down ... ic charges mess up

  • Check whether you have your fone on "do not disturb" mode or check if you mistakenly disabled your WhatsApp noticiation.

  • Not getting WhatsApp notification please help Battery optimization Does not help

  • One Plus 6t, Huawei Mate 20 ,Honor View 20 OR Samsung Galaxy S9+....? KEY POINTS! 1.Battery Life 2.Camera 3.Software Experience 4.Gaming Experience 5.Build Quality/Brand Value 6. Video Recording 7.Display Quality 8.Customer Service Support (I Lives in UAE) 9.Software Updates Support 10. Sterio Speaker Quality Please Recommend which one is matching above points...!

  • Not so great mobile, more ram is useless as each and every app(I had 5 apps in the background and free ram is 2gb) in the background gets reloaded after 10min approximately and by the way the pain of no 3.5mm jack need to bear. Do think twice before buying it

  • There is no comparison the one plus 6t obviously

  • Bro reset it and then try Its due to virus

  • Does this smartphone has great camera quality or not? which one shall i prefer..i phone 7 plus or 6t in terms of camera quality....wanna buy soon..so in a need of genuine advise...

  • Does this smartphone has excellent camera quality or not?

  • Help me b/w a9 or 6t?

  • maybe you're ugly that's why the camera stop working.mine works perfectly and it is 2 months old already

  • One of the best smartphone!! Just love the display & Storage & Graphics are phenomenally outstanding ........ :)

  • I have found (especially after removing the inexpensive screen protector) that over time, it has become faster. Face detection is spot on for me as well.

  • I buy oneplus 6t 3month back. From 2days selfi camera not working.. don't buy this phone.

  • Can someone tell me if I should expect any significant connectivity issues with A6010 version if I travel to US?

  • No FM Radio & Headphone jack, the price also quite high,,i think asus zenfone 5z is a better option

  • Hello, I am interested in buying One Plus 6t, but the only thing holding me back is that i don't know it it can play HEVC 10.bit videos as HW\HW+ smoothly, i'm using htc u11+ and it's playing HEVC 10.bit videos (HW\HW+) with some stuttering, your help is greatly appreciated Thanks

  • will the fingerprint sensor become slow? or oneplus 6 will be better?

  • 6T

  • OnePlus 6T or Huawei Nova 4?

  • Even with the s9 there is no comparison too .l would defenetly go for it if it is close in price.

  • Ofcourse the galaxy S9+ (S9+ not the S9). OP6T is a good phone but if you can get S9+ at the same price then there is no comparison at all. Almost everything is better in S9+. Battery its slightly smaller but it can easily get you through the day. UI is very subjective.

  • S9+. Better screen super amoeled is the best in smartphone world ....better material corning glass 5 ....almost all sensors you need even that you wouldn't use .....dust and water resistant best rating uptil now ....of course better camera and l think it has much better speaker .....flagship of Samsung which compaerd to iphone x

  • Of course S9+ .....of course it much much better value

  • guys help me choose between this S9+, Honor V20, or the 6T??? also tell me why. their price is very similar here in my country, so I'm confuse which one is more value deal?

  • Wait for OP 7

  • a calculator. PERIOD

  • XZ2 premium with 236g weight, 11.9mm thickness and old design? or dig a hole??

  • One Plus 6t

  • then don't!

  • Is Have Face Lock

  • Please suggest me which is best mobile op 6t or sony xz2 premium??? Or i wait for op 7????

  • I'll never to buy a smartphone without a 3.5mm jack. Never!

  • Awesome phone....blazing fast, best camera. Issues i faced with the phone is Quick Panel is easily accessible even though its locked & after reboot we need to enter the pin to unlock(finger print & face unlock not work). I have the 256GB model and i am completely happy with this.

  • Camera lighting is poor, no option for brightness.

  • One plus 6t..thats amaizing

  • What difference did you find in Oreo and Pie? Moreover why do we need faster updates if the phone is working fine? Also galaxy note 9 got stable pie.

  • What benefits you got after any OS update, which actually ease the way you use mobile phone??

  • My 6T alert slider that slightly moves when touched. My Device is one day old. I am New To OnePlus .

  • OnePlus 6T is certainly among the best 2018 phones, but Oppo Find X and Vivo NEX S are better phones. When we talk among the more informed buyers about "Which phone is better?", we really mean "Which Chinese phone is better?". For 2018, only phones that matter are Chinese phones. Let's hope we will have more options in 2019.

  • What's the second main camera for?

  • I am confusing in op 6t n sony xz2 premium which i can buy......??? Or can i wait for op 7???? Thanks in advance

  • It is laughable to compare Asus, LG, or Sony to OnePlus. In the smartphone space, OnePlus is a company of the moment, while Asus is a nobody, and LG (Sony) are companies of yesteryear. Has LG (Sony) made any smartphones lately that actually sell?

  • People spend in lakhs for iPhone even they don't provide good features, but when it comes to smaller brand with good features, they start criticising about price and out dated features. Bloody purple they never understand. They always wants to loose money and spending on unwanted items unnecessarily.

  • Apart from fast charging, good camera and flagship processor, Oxygen OS and 2 years Android Update should be considered to buy this phone. Many people are commenting for Asus, LG, Sony etc but are they reliable when it comes to software update? Even Samsung Galaxy note 9 hasn't received pie yet. One plus has large fan following because of unmatched support.

  • I feel like that's BS. Sony manages to make their compact phones rival the P20 Pro

  • Small battery?

  • 550€;; for this phone ;;without sd card, Fm radio, 3.5 Jack, small battery, no thanks. 250-300€ it's OK. I am not crazy yet.

  • So sad that it doesnt have FM radio n headphone jack. I think there is only 2 snapdragon 845 phone with reasonable prize that have it. it is pocophone f1 and asus zenfone 5z (also have nfc)

  • No it doesn't have FM radio

  • Sounds cool! Thanks.

  • When I bought my 6T I found a carphone warehouse store had the best price in my region (UK). I would recommend looking for these stores or something similar

  • oneplus 6 and oneplus 6T is the best phone in the world

  • This phone seems heavy, plus there is no headphon ae jack,,i think asus zenfone 5z is a better option

  • the ceo says that he wanted to make a compact phone. but there is a battery problem. it wont be big capacity. so oneplus wont making a compact phone until there is a new battery technology. thats what i read

  • Which is better to buy onrplus 6t or mi mix 3

  • Which phon to buy? Nova, one plus 6 ?Or another mobile which is better in this budget category?

  • I'm a tiny bit worried about the size in everyday use. But after looking around there really wasn't any other good phones with a smaller size and my friends s9+ wasn't too bad to hold (similar size to oneplus 6t) and playing gams on a bigger screen is always nice. And I've decided to buy the 6t and I wonder where to buy it. Do you buy it from oneplus website or do I try to buy it from a local reseller?

  • Honestly no

  • What's the difference between A6010 and A6013? Thanks in advance

  • Nope

  • Have this phone about 2 weeks now, literally can't fault the phone, screen is excellent qualoty, facial recognition and in screen fingerprint scanner work 99% of the time, phone never crashes, very user friendly interface, screen size for me is perfect 10/10

  • yes oneplus 6t is the best phone i bougth till now

  • i am using oneplus 5t should i go for oneplus 6t or not ?

  • Can anybody please confirm whether this phone supports FM radio or not? If no, it would be a deal breaker for me.

  • @Fredrik In almost all of the aspects you've mentioned, OP6T will be a better choice. It has way bigger battery, better performance (especially in daily use) due to Oxygen OS and it will receive android updates WAY earlier and for almost a year longer than the S9. The quality of the display is better in Samsung's flagship, but ask yourself a question: would you rather play on a 5,8" device or a 6,41" one? :) I hope this helps you decide

  • Hi all, I want buy a OnePlus 6t phone but, I'm afraid that there will be customs duties. Now I do not know that for sure because you have 3 options how you can send it: Hong Kong post, China post Air and Epakket. and now I want to know with which option you do not have to pay customs fees ?? and can you tell me what I have to do to not have to pay customs fees?

  • One Plus 6T

  • If I can get a galaxy s9 for about the same price (tiny bit cheaper) than the 6t, which one should i get? Most important things are battery, android updates, performance and screen. I play a lot of games and enjoy watching videos.

  • "Overall, if priced the same..." And your point being? HDR on a phone...get a life & a flat screen tv, cheaper. Better photos? It's a snapshot camera. Who cares Better benchmarks? Get a life

  • I've had 3 Huawei phones with 4,000mAH batteries. With them, end of day, I have about 50-70% left With the OnePlus 6T, I have between 45-60% left What's the big deal? It's 300mAH less than 4,000, so it shouldn't be an issue.

  • Definetly get the 6t.

  • do you know that oppo, vivo and oneplus is in the same company under bbk electronics

  • Getting a new phone sub-$600 USD. This or LG G7 Thinq or Samsung Galaxy S9, opinions? Other question is if the 6T has water proof or splash-proof? What sucks most is I have CDMA or Verizon, thankfully this one is good for Verizon.

  • Hdmi output! Usb 2.0 doesn't support that.

  • I agree

  • I don't know about S9 plus camera, but HTC u12 plus has better score on camera than S9 plus. I'm sure OnePlus 6t camera is not enough to be compared to U12 plus. I have 6t in my hand right now

  • Excellent device, can't fault it. Battery life is amazing and performance is the best ever. Not used my tablet since buying it.

  • Its a Flagship beast, but have anyone compared it with samsung s9 plus camera, please reply me , how is the camera

  • it's 3700 mah.. which is better than most phones

  • needs a bigger battery! then it will be complete, its actually the only reason I won't buy it, otherwise, I love it!

  • very good phone , specs are spectacular - but it's way too expensive still waiting for the price to go down - then i'll buy it for 3 :D

  • Great analysis, thanks!

  • 6t is king. Probably the best phone of 2018. But for about half the price the poccophone does an insane job to keep up with the 6t. I just bought a 6t, so close to gettng the pocco but in the end I thought i'd invest in a phone that'll last for years.

  • If buying in India just get the LG G7 thinq much better than all the three you mentioned. Pixel 2 XL is also now dropped to the price of the 6T.

  • If price is same than S9 plus all the way. The S9 plus is the best flagship smartphone I would say of 2018. Advantages of OP 6t over S9+ 1. Faster Android updates 2. Bigger battery 3. Dash Charging Advantages of S9+ over OP 6t 1. Much better display with higher resolution and HDR 10. 2. Much better photos and videos with the primary camera with HDR recording support. 3. A useful secondary camera the OP 6t is almost useless. 4. Better design and looks along with IP 68 rating. 5. Headphone jack, stereo speakers. 6. Micro SD card slot. 7. Wireless charging. 8. After sales support of Samsung is much better than Oneplus. Overall if priced the same there is no reason to buy the 6T also the S9+ is received the pie update in some regions now. The 6T was never a flagship just a flagship killer but when the flagships are getting price drops to it's levels the killer itself gets killed.

  • Which fone is better one plus 6t or nova 3 or poco f1

  • no

  • Both Sim support VoLte

  • Yeah just heard from you. Tell me more please.

  • Anybody heard about a OnePlus compact phone?

  • No jack, no notification led, mediocre fingerprint sensor, plain glassy back... Phone of 2019. Perhaps, one of the best...

  • Would you like to explain why do you need 3.0, but 2.0 is not enough? Thanks.

  • When I takes a Long Screen shot and send it on whatsapp, it is getting blurred. Any comments?

  • agree and no card slot is another no buy for me what a shame

  • No headphone jack = no buy. Sorry.

  • Obviously go for the One Plus 6t

  • T-mobile appears to only have the 8GB RAM, 128GB storage version available in Midnight Black, but I don't have a problem with that. It appears fast enough to be a decent replacement for my Windows 10 device, which routinely beat out iPhones and Galaxy units. With Windows pulling a "Betamax" on us, it looks like I finally have to choose between Android and IOS, both of which I detest............

  • I've had the s8 and s9 and am growing tired of that design and interface so yeah, call me what you like buddy.Don't really give a shit.

  • Should i get op6t or mate 20, not pro version.

  • lol you're a genius, selling your s9 to buy this

  • Hey guys, just bought this phone yesterday. It's fast, but that's about it.Nothing special here. The notch serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever,I have it disabled. The one speaker gets muffled when you play games or watch a movie.I would honestly be in a 5T to not have the notch.6T is 5 times more slippery than my S9 that I traded in for this.Might return this phone.

  • Water drop notch is not beautiful i hate it more than regular notch

  • Sure, just remove at all, its not like people give a shit about anything these days....

  • Do you really need it?

  • Does one or both sim slot support VoLTE?

  • Does this phone really have shit ass usb 2.0 only ?????? Or is that mistake ??????

  • please show where it is

  • There is, bu only when GPS is being used.

  • That Thunder Purple is beautiful. An that water drop notch is beautiful, too.

  • OnePlus need a QHD display and better hardware design. Also, ENABLE ALWAYS ON DISPLAY!

  • Op 6t finger print error unlock another finger continue enother finger unlock .plz solution

  • Cool.

  • hi, on my oneplus 6t missed call notifications for more than one missed call only shows the number of missed calls not any details of who called me, i have to open phone app to see the call log, but on my pixel 2 and galaxy s9 i can expand the notification and see the callers name. is it a bug ? any solution?

  • S9 plus Water resistant 68 Stereo speakers Better screen with HDR10 Better camera's Coming soon amazing software one ui Micro SD

  • Your data is being sent to Korea if u use samsung.

  • there is no edit quick setting option. and no GPS icon.

  • Go for OP 6T. OP still can be unlock and re-lock. Huawei can’t be unlock again for free.

  • The oneplus is good manfacture modified company so i like this Oneplus 6t

  • Oneplus 6t vs Mate 20 at the same price. Which would you choose?

  • S9+ if you want wireless charging, actual water resistance i.e. IP68, SD card slot and a bit better display. OnePlus 6T if you want faster OS updates, under display fingerprint scanner, larger screen with less bezels and overall a bit faster phone. Cameras are comparable quality wise but S9+ has a wide-angle lens while 6T only uses the second lens for portrait pics. Battery life should also be similar.

  • OnePlus 6T because you get face unlock, screen unlock, 8gb ram, and OxygenOS

  • Oneplus 6T or Galaxy S9 Plus with almost the same price?

  • No heating issue...

  • Yes, it's cheaper then the newly launched Oppo in India.

  • Hi Anonymous. Not sure where you live, but here in Aus, the OnePlus 6T (8GB) cost me $700 (AUD) incl. delivery. The cheapest I could find the Samsung S9 Plus (with half the storage) was $1098.

  • Does this phone still come with the proximity sensor in the earpiece to stop accidental touches while on the phone? If not it would be a nightmare taking a call and i'd have to resort to text which isn't very efficient.

  • Who told you one plus 6T it’s a cheap phone? The 128gb, 8GB variant cost same as galaxy S9 plus 256GB!.

  • Lets see 500 dollars or a little more to 1000 dollars or a little more and it lost by a bit. I still take that for the price

  • heard that very slow response of in-display fingerprint, throw some light on that for us

  • Have been using 6GB/128GB variant of the device since last 15 days, no issues observed so far. Thanks to Oxygen OS 9.0.6, no lags observed, software optimized for better user experience. The only issue observed is in the NightScape Mode, sometimes it overexposes the photo. Else nothing to complain, with SD845 you get better battery performance along with Dash Charge (20W / 4A), good enough to charge 3700 mAh in an hour. Best upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 (2018).

  • Sometimes "answer call by Gesture" does not work, you have to pick up call manually.

  • Typing fast with this phone it’s a really pain in a... touch latency of one plus still shit.

  • Is oneplus 6t heated like one plus 6? please tell me. Thanks

  • No microsd.

  • Lucky you that you have the U12+. Don't care about the 6T tho:/

  • Know that it’s samsung OLED, but it depends how one plus calibrate check phonearena review of one plus 6T the maximum brightness even lower than one plus 6 430 nits! and I don’t think so one plus reduce the brightness only cause of battery consummation might be the reason overheating.

  • Sis anyone has this issue?!

  • but there will be a McLaren edition though lol

  • just a little bit slower.

  • How is the fingerprint reader on this device? Is it any slower than a regular reader? Does it have any impact on day to day use compared to the regular one? Thanks

  • Thank you for the help, I think based on this information and a few other sources i'm going to shell out for the 6T. Just a tad disappointed there is no avengers edition haha. Again, cheers :)

  • My previous phone was the s8+ and i had the edge right before. The edge is a magnificent phone which still stands on its ground today against any other flagship. With time invetabily, your battery will be somewhat deteriorated by now, smaller capacity for sure, however prolly still better than the 1+ 6. The 6T though will be much better than even edge was as new. The night camera shots were improved with S8+, the 6T is as good as the edge. The sound volume of Bluetooth was improved with S8+ from the edge and the 6T equals that, so a decent improvement there and a massive one on the ringer, you can now hear it even in public. Another reason to note is that Samsung were always careful to keep those phones handy, even with one hand and everything that is wider than 7.5cm hardly is. The 6 was wider and with the case it becomes note wide, you will never get comfy with it, unless you have huge hands. The 6T is 6mm narrower. You will have more screen estate with the same footprint with the 6T, one of the top of industry atm, even tops sliders like mi mix3 And lastly no ugly Apple notch, teardrop notch is the future, big chin and apple notch is smth only 2017 Chinese copycats had...

  • You are wrong, the screen has the capacity to go beyond 600nits, it was shown the day it was presented, however indeed it is now locked at 450nits and indeed if set in auto mode it might seem dim and both of these happen in order to preserve battery, exactly as it happens with the XS, in comparison to older iPhone. Yet since the screen has the capacity for more, it's up to oneplus to allow more with a future update if a lot of ppl are displeased. The 6T panel is not cheap. It's Samsung made, the priority was to preserve energy and present realistic colors and they are spot on there!

  • Ome plus 6 and one plus 6T maximum brghtiness reach 460 nits even under sun iPhone XS and XS max reach 700 nits and S9 plus and note 9 reach 650 nits so there’s no comparison that’s why Galaxy’s and iPhone are more expensive phones.

  • Already got beat by iPhone XS Max Lol.

  • 2K display, SD card, mAh 4000+ battrey and more bloatware all these features kills performance and cause overheating.

  • may i know the battery durability till i used continuosly

  • Thanks mate but I have checked that it's just not in my phone very strange I was using it two days back

  • More like, you removed all fingerprints from the phone. Go to settings and security and find add fingerprint. I don't have this problem. Good luck

  • OnePlus 7: 6.6" Display with 80mm width, dedicated memory card slot (triple slot), IP 68, Notification LED, Dual Stereo speakers, 4200 mAh battery....Now that's a Winner!!

  • Can somebody help I have a 6t and my finger scanner is gone I don't see it I now. Need to face unluck or type my password. Anyone with help please

  • My friend...OnePlus probably can and could make 2k display but that would consume more battery.2k and full hd display is hardly differentiable in real life,i mean literally hardly noticeable.what will you choose, better battery life or bit better display??it all boils on to this.its up to you.

  • Still the same full HD display ? Why can't they make it 2k

  • Can anyone please give me hand in choosing my new phone? Basically I have the s7 edge atm but I am looking at either getting the OP6 or OP6T. I'm just not too sure if the 6T would be worth it over the 6. I mainly use my phone for browsing the web, playing games and watching media like youtube and Netflix. Please help!!

  • I know the notch is disappointing for some people but would it really be better for it to go all the way across the screen and give you less screen real estate?

  • beast!!!!!!!!!

  • Single speaker shut

  • been using the Thunder Purple for nearly a week,,,great phone and great value for money no issues as yet and battery life is great....

  • I don't understand people, if they like Samsung phones, why do they post negative stuff about this phone...? I owed SG2, SG7edge, SG8+. After SG7edge which I used no more than few months and but OnePlus 3and I was happier with that. After SG8plus I could not wait until I got HTC u11 then OnePlus 5t and was very happy. So in 2018 I didn't do the same mistake with SG9, I got HTC u12+ and OnePlus 6t. I'll say I really really like HTC u12+, but screen isn't bright enough for my outside job. What I like in OnePlus phones that they have AMOLED screen and you don't have to pay overprice for useless curved display. And OnePlus 6t faster than any Samsung or iPhone or even mate 20 pro I do like OnePlus 6t and HTC u12 plus. They are awesome phones

  • Wrong link. This video about OnePlus 6, not 6t

  • Fast enough compare to type pin number

  • Bro really?

  • Very very slow fingerprint scanner choose wisely

  • Nice one. just dissapointed with the notch

  • Check on the following link

  • It is a single speaker which is at the left hand side grill. The right side speaker grill is a fake one. And it does not provide sound support from earpiece as S9+ does

  • Can someone acknowledge me on the RAM management on OnePlus 6T 6GB RAM. I saw some speedtest reveiws with competitive phones on youtube nd the mind blowing factor was that 1+ 6T does not multitask. For example some of the apps get refreshed from the beginning if those were opened again which will not be continued from the point where it was left away. If that is the case, what about 8GB RAM? I would like to purchase OnePlus 6T eventhough there are some minimalities like the speaker is not upto the quality & RIP for the headphone jack since I'm a wireless. But I can't sacrifice on RAM management.

  • The 6T, only has one speaker, the other grill at the bottom is a microphone

  • Don't buy 6T and Don't waste your money. So many useful technology missing there. Better wait for 7 or 7T.

  • Never by samsung phone except flagship, their software are unrealible, galaxy a5 2017, averages need 1 to 2 second just to unlock phone, and sometimes fingerprints not recognized, most of my times unlocking phone with pattern.

  • Guys does OP6t has a single or a dual speaker set up?

  • Hi, this is the problem with every Android device. It is not possible though it can be made possible. But there are plenty of launchers available with Google Play. Try out the Microsoft Launcher and give your feedback. Good Luck.

  • i dont know about the galaxy being more durable. My 3T has outlasted my s5 and 7 edge the last of which developed screen issues on its own (no drops etc)

  • Can any one help in uninstalling 1+ launcher from my 1+6T

  • screen is very dull unless brightness is at 60% or higher. I dont know if the screen is dull or if its becuase of the screen protector it comes installed with - oneplus 6T - US - Tmobile Version

  • Every phone is not secured. If you worry about your data, don't buy any phone:-)

  • go for s8 active, its awesome, op6t is gimmick and chinese, so have to concern about data security. also less durable than samsung phones

  • Yes it is support dual volte.

  • Go for one plus 6T...it's very nice and even far better than iphones... just go for it

  • Superb phone for it's price. No marketing apps that runs on the background like Samsung phones, so the 8GB RAM and 3700 mAh can be fully utilize. Simple yet elegant, everything about it runs smoothly. The only drawback for me is the 3.5mm jack not included but I was sure glad I did the brand switch to this phone. WORTH EVERY PRICE!

  • OP6T is superior if you care about software

  • I am torn between choosing the OnePlus 6T or the Samsung S8 Active. I currently have a S6 active and it still looks and works like it did on day 1. I like the durability of the active models, but the 6T just looks like a superior phone tech-wise. So I'd like to hear opinions for and against to help me choose. Active has an SD Card slot capable of 512GB but 2GB less ram, Active has larger battery but what looks to be slower and older OS/chipset/CPU/GPU. Price is not a deciding factor. In a nutshell, I am a family man who mainly uses his phone as, well, a phone. Never watched any movies on it, have watched a handful of youtube videos when really bored, have a handful of small simple games (like puzzles) to pass time periodically (nothing too complex) take pictures of my family and pets periodically as well, never really take any videos, I don't have social media so selfies and such never take place. Looking forward to your thoughts!!

  • 1. What about Pocophone F1? Galaxy S9? LG G7? Xperia XZ2? All of those are cheaper than the 6T if you use a tool to compare offers 2. Why should anyone with a phone from a proper brand be jealous for your Chinese phone? I know someone who is able to brag about everything, be it clothes, cars or tech. And even if he doesn‘t have any of it, he brags with things other people have. And that person has a OnePlus 6 and manages to brag with that as well. And you also seem like such a Person. And I can imagine other owners of OnePlus phones to be like that as well. Contrary to that, I don‘t know anyone who ever bragged with his iPhone or Galaxy S. So just to clear it up: If you are poor, at least don‘t try to impress anyone with the few you got, it is just annoying to your surroundings.

  • go for s9+ or note 9

  • Anyone who actually owns this. Remap your fingerprint in a completely dark room. This eliminates all exterior light and will help with faster unlocking. Also map the same finger twice so more of the fingerprint is saved. This phone is giving me 11+ hours screen on time and I am a heavy YouTube & social media person. I've bought wireless bullets for €50 with a referral code and they are decent, charge fast and last 8 hours. I don't miss headphone jack and I like the front in-display fingerprint scanner. No accidental fingerprints on camera sensor from missing the back fingerprint scanner like would happen on other phones. With fast charging, it makes wireless charging look even more of a gimmick that I wouldn't use so I don't miss it

  • Samsung. Oneplus is no more what it used to be

  • I had first the OnePlus 6 which I gave to my wife and now I have a 6T. Comparing those I'm wondering if 6T it's an upgrade or downgrade (both have 8GB ram/256 GB internal memory): - Both have the same hardware and performs the same. - Camera performs the same (after the software update) and is good for the price range of the phone. - Despite the fact that the notch is smaller on 6T , its form made it (ad least for me) more visible/annoying that the bigger one on OP6 (which I hide with one of the wallpapers included in Oxygen OS that is black exactly in the upper middle of the screen). I don't want to use the black bar hide so I'll probably import that wallpaper from OP6 to OP6T. - there is no led notification, but there's a on-screen notification system so it's kind of like a trade here. I never bothered to use the led notification system so this is not an issue for me. - The elephants in the room are finger scanner and jack removal: a) The in-screen finger scanner is a nightmare to use. It's not only that is visible slower (it's a drawback, for sure, but not the end of the world), but, also, IT'S NOT RELIABLE. It fails to register the fingerprints in 7/10 times and in multiple occasions I had to draw the pattern because the phone locked itself after not recognizing the fingerprints (deleting the fingers and rescanning them don't solve the problem, also you are not allowed to register the same finger twice). On the contrast, the physical fingerprint scanner from the OP6 is the best I've ever used, very fast and reliable, it recognized my fingers EVERY time. So I ended up using the spot for fingers just to lit the screen that the Face id to kick of (Face id is great and is working perfectly). b) Jack removal - I'm NOT an audiophile, I've barely used any headsets. Unfortunately, my car has an outdated Bluetooth media system that don't have the capabilities to play Bluetooth media. It was easy with the OP6, I've used Aux with jack to listen to music while driving and charging my phone that I was using as a navigation tool. To do the same (charge the phone in the car while using it as navigation) I had to buy an external Bluetooth battery based device that recognize media and have a jack to connect to Aux of my car's media system. It was not that expensive, but it was an extra purchase and felt like an Apple user (hihi). Of course, this is not an problem if the car have Bluetooth media capabilities. - Battery: HUGE improvement on 6T to an already good battery so a big point for 6T here. As a conclusion, for an extra 10 euro/usd/pounds more than OP6 you'll have a bigger battery capacity (400 mAh more), but also a crappy/unreliable/slow under display fingerprint sensor, no jack , no led notification and a notch that is more noticeable that the one on OP6 (despite being smaller, I repeat this). If the battery is what you are interested in, then the OP6T it's an update, otherwise it's clearly an downgrade that cost a bit more.

  • Hi guys, I want to buy a phone and I do not know what. Samsung Galaxy s9+ or 1+6T?

  • Pixel fits for those who are looking for great camera and if you want that notch and in display, fingerprint go for one plus 6t. th second best camera after pixel 2xl.

  • The display size is not the problem. It's the total dimension and size of the phone. The length should not be longer than 155mm!!! If phone is too long, you can't put inside your pocket freely!!! I care most about the size and battery life in a phone. Most phones have the same techs and features.

  • that will be next year April after release of S10

  • Can anyone tell me if OnePlus 6T is compatible with Australian network such as Optus, Vodafone and Telstra.

  • NO don't buy because the One plus 7 is coming your way with better specs so dont rush!.

  • Huawei Mate 20

  • Completely agree

  • Super phone with underdisplay fingerprint. Cheapest SD845 phone in the USA. People just jealous...

  • No. Screen isn't bad. You probably never see this one

  • the screen is bad compared to Note 9 or Iphone

  • Agree 100% 400$ Lg V30 does all that + 2k Oled display + great battery 2017 Iphone X went crazy 2018 the others followed. Including One+ and Huawei

  • one plus 6t is the best phone . i had samsung note 9 . i phone x , all the brand . this is the best to buy . its fast , battery super best . go for it . its worth to buy

  • Mate 20 Pro has best charging time 1h 0-100% 6t only has 1h 30 min

  • Actually the mobile was launched 15days ago... Having it for almost 2 weeks now, i have the completely opposite impression. I guess it matters where you were coming from, i had a S8+ before, i am super pleased from the UI, i never encountered any bug and the 6T is the most responsive phone i ever held in my hand. I disactivated the self since day one and did not activate the search option in the app drawer. Face unlock it super fast and reliable, unlike how it was with my S8+, even in strange angles and bad timing. The fingerprint sometimes takes some time yes, Yet it always unlocks, i usually have sweaty hands and this was a huge problem with previous fingerprint scanners, i would gladly exchange waiting an extra second than having to wipe my hand and the scanner in the back, almost every time i need to unlock my phone. The battery is like 30-40% bettet, despite only being 200mah bigger. My only concern is low light camera performance, i rate the S8+ as a better overall performer there, as i would just point and snap and everything went great, with the 6T, i have to select nightmode hold the phone for 3secs after the click and hope for the best and i have yet to see results comparable to the ones i had with the S8+. I even tried the port of pixel 's gcamera, which is even more disappointing imho, as it's just over saturates everything...

  • I am generally disappointed. Not the cheapest phone with SD845 but still has lots of issues. Even a month after release the fingerprint reader takes 2-3 seconds to unlock. I scanned my finger 4 times all over again after clearing it becaus I thought it's somehow wrong. Sometimes after the screen wakes up the scanner does not work at all. I have to provide PIN to unlock. The UI suffers the same bugs as cheap chinese iPhone X clones. When you pull from the bottom to get activity list, the previews will stuck on top of home screen blocking the view. Really bad user experience... From the hardware point of view, really solid. Also night mode camera is awesome.

  • Amazing phone with the fastest face recognisation

  • I think large all-screen phones are ugly and gay

  • Sensor is learning and adapting the more you use it. Still a bad experience? Mine's working way better after a few days of use.

  • I'm a bit disappointed about the removal of the headphone jack. But as of now, they are still testing out the whole finger scanner under the display. I will give credits to OnePlus. I haven't use a OnePlus device yet but my friend has the OnePlus 3 and it is fast. Performance wise, I will give it to OnePlus. The price is around the midrange phones but performance is around the flagship devices

  • Go for samsung or huawei phone, this phone dont support MHL so if u want display casting to hdtv sorry your only option with wireless. Max wireless speed are 600 Mbps way to far with Old ver HDMI with 3Gbps. Screen mirroring game good and smoothy out of option. MHL are hadware problems so no way to fix this. I think Chinese phone now days don't support MHL too, LG also.

  • I am using it and facing issue with onscreen fingerprint... most of the time it doesn't recognise my finger and when it does, it only recognise 1 out of 3.

  • Ofcourse pixel 2xl. But pixel 2xl is little expensive but it is worth of it. In camera department it is way ahead than oneplus 6t

  • Yes after a good hands on experience in store , now I own a OnePlus6T,, nano review in a couple of days

  • op6t is the best for price

  • Guys i m looking for camera centric mobile ... As i travel lot DSLR is huge to carry .. so suggest me which one to choose .. Op6T or Pixel 2XL

  • In the notification bar

  • No wireless charging? (sad) I have waited the 6T and planned to buy it, but I think it misses some features to be my kind of perfect. However, it offers much more than his competitors for the price.

  • How to activate Always on Display ? any third party application or app

  • Have the 5 and it has been the most reliable and stable phone I have ever used. Think I will wait for the OnePlus 7 though. 5 is still more than enough speed wise. It the first phone I have ever used for more than 6 months (love to upgrade usually).

  • Only Concerned for not purchasing Immediately is Indisplay finger print bit concerned will it work as good as rear fingerprint reader, if I'm happy with that in stores today at Bengaluru MG road outlet then by today Noon 2PM I'll have 6T in my hand... God Bless

  • Do you currently own the oneplus 6t? Im torn on if i should order the mirror black or wait for the thunder purple. Ive heard bad things about the frosted glass

  • @Greece: you don't know what you're talking about. The Li-Po 3700 mAh battery is just about as good as it gets AND charges up from 10%-100% in a little over an hour - that's the best battery you can get in smartphones charged in no time.

  • very small battery. (we need a big battery, no fastcharging) - no sd card - no radio - no 3.5 jack - no notification led 300€ it's OK for this phone. 500+€????? Thanks oneplus

  • This comment won't age well. Oh dear.

  • I think 128 or 256gb is more than enough

  • Only model to have one is the X

  • well i agree with you but the price is not same everywhere. oneplus 6 is as same price of s9 256gb in my country or with 50 dollars higher i can buy note 9. also aftersale service doesnt exist here for oneplus so even if the phone is good people wont go after oneplus or oppo here

  • Memory card slot missing

  • Doesn't feel there's any significant improvement to launch this model in the first place. Everything almost the same except for underscreen fingerprint n battery. Though it gain in screen size but the phone become narrower instead. Also no some sort of waterproofing n cooling. I don't think it's any good at all.

  • It's not necessary to have an IP68 rating because nobody would use a phone when he or she is swimming.

  • Too big, hinders me to walk if its in pocket. Max height must be 155 mm. If bring note 9 its like carry brick.

  • my main reason to prefer this phone above SGS / SGN 9(plus) is that this is almost stock Android. So no annoying and useless software which is only taking up space. Specs are most suitable for me.

  • This only happen at my country region, which has the same pricing between price dropped Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Oneplus 6T, and Vivo Nex S. There are definitely more choice to choose now rather than praising what Oneplus brand can achieve. I know, all like the fast pure Android UI and fast Android updates of Oneplus 6T, but not for the pricing anymore.

  • This phone Oneplus 6T 128GB version sold at the same price as Samsung Note 9 128GB which has been dropped price aggressively too. Still got reason to choose Oneplus 6T over Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

  • will this phone work in egypt ? i mean with networks here ?

  • Why don't you look at the Asus Zenphone Max pro M1? Or maybe just Asus Zenphone Max M1

  • Don’t mind paying more, this phone needs waterproofing!

  • I have oneplus 6t, arrived today. Very good phone. I don't see 240fps on camera on 60fps. Other than that works great.

  • Been using Sam and Huawei bought a 6T it's got a good battery and the fingerprint scanner got a upgrade and it's even faster the face unlock is better then s9+'and P20 Pro sound is better on Samsung camera is better on P20 Pro or s9+,.. Headphone jack I dont care it has the USB adaptor ie buy nice blue tooth or WiFi headphones.. The phone is very good for the price I dont think you can get better. My phione had bit water on it no issues.. Very very fast phone and software is great.. Yes s9+has better cam screen and sound but this is half price with screen fingerprint better face unlock batter battery.. And half price..

  • This is a great phone but it would have been much greater if it has IP68 rating.

  • Great phone for a great price and agree with Adam.

  • I see that is coming with USB Type C 2.0 again. Is that mean no MHL / Slimport support again?

  • is ist support Dual Volte?

  • It Never Settle's the Price

  • Well said Adam! I think exactly the same.

  • Great phone! Very fast. Cool finger print reader. Good battery life. Say no to overpriced phone.

  • This is a great phone. How can you guys complain about missing features AND the price?? The missing features aren't necessary and they keep the price low. If you want the features, get a more expensive phone! The phone is water resistant just don't go freaking swimming with it. You don't need a headphone jack just get Bluetooth earphones for $10 or use the dongle, it's not that hard. This is a budget phone, it's not gonna be able to fit everything you want.

  • Not really: The S9+ only arrived at 64gb in Greek stores I've heard that in limited European countries it arrived on 128gb too. For the S8+, which i own, i am even more certain of it. The price for the 63gb started at 929euros. The S8+ only arrived with 835 exynos equivalent which had an inferior GPU, yet superior battery endurance. This combo is vastly inferior to the one plus 6T combo which costs 579euros. Good for you for having a 128GB\6GB version, really no reason to upgrade. Apart from the Led, better night shots, you also have stereo speakers! But most of the ppl of your example got the 64version and S8+ should not be included

  • Dude, I bought my S9+ with 256GB of non-volatile and 6GB of RAM in Europe. They don't even sell 4GB version of S9+ in Europe. Your argument is wrong.

  • Today received another oxygen update for Op 6t

  • Troll

  • Go buy a nokia phone.

  • What is the SAR for this phone???

  • That's very true.

  • No they are not! Take it from a guy that upgrades from S8+ to 1+ 6T Those 2 phones only have 64gb her and 4gb ram in Europe 6T comes with 256GB UFS2.1 which is faster internal memory and can be used on apps and games, unlike the SD card. Faster memory means better writing and reading times, which comes in handy in various moments. Beyond 126gb really faster internal memory has an advantage over SD cards. Although Samsung generally has better sound, i ve noticed that a good Bluetooth set gives better results that the akg wired they are gifting. So buy one good once and use it with various mobiles. Really not a deal breaker. 6T also has better battery endurance than them and bigger display on practically the same size. Samsung screens are the best, but OnePlus uses Samsung panels anyway. The performance is definitely better on the OnePlus and is also guaranteed over time, my S8+ will have Oreo untill Mars, yet 1+ 6 already has pie and 6T starts with it. The only real advantage the Samsung s have is night photos and led light

  • It was hardly the original moto z you had was it? I had that phone the last 2 years. Battery completely gave up on me 2 months ago so bought the oneplus 6t this morning. Never buying Motorola again.

  • As for me, I'm getting the 6T, if ever possible in my country. Then upgrade to OP8. People are always unhappy with the upgrades coming short anyway. OP7 may then not be good enough for some.

  • exactly!

  • Can someone tell me, when will 6-128 mid night black release in India. In Amazon only I see is 6-128 in mirror black which I don't like. If u know any info, much appreciated

  • I'm still going to wait for the OnePlus 7 :) ;)

  • OnePlus 6T.

  • Lol

  • Xiaomi mi mix 3 or oneplus 6t

  • What is your phone ?

  • They have waterproofing, just no IP rating. its simply to cut the costs down on the phones to make them cheaper while still retaining a level equal to IP67 ratings.

  • New here, completely new to oneplus. I currently have a motorola which is honestly not worth discussing how terrible the performance is on my model as it is an refrubished phone. From what I have head, One plus is a great phone. hopefully I wont regret buying mine. pre-ordered it.

  • Meh. All I want in a phone is a big battery, stereo speakers and the basic features (NFC, compass, headphone jack, ...), that's all I ask for, nothing else but the basics. No overhyped features to drain the battery like 4K displays, 70 core chips, 16MP cameras and more ram than my desktop PC. I'd be perfectly fine with only a 720p display, no fingerprint scanner, no borderless screen, no dual camera, no face recognition and no overpowered hardware. Someone make that, please, phones are getting ridiculous.

  • After using Moto Z Play for 2 years, now I am proud to be OnePlus 6t owner. In short It's a very excellent phone ever I used....

  • Why doesnt it have ip68 water protecton?Thats my complaint

  • Too overhyped. I hate it when OnePlus does **** like this.

  • High-end phone without waterproofing is working behinde other competitors.

  • best smartphone in oneplus history

  • excuse me sir, I think the 256gb of storage is more than enough to store a lot of your favorite porns.

  • > No memory card slot > No 3.5 mm jack > No auto focus for front camera. Useless oneplus 6t. Samsung S8+ and S9+ are far more better> No memory card slot > No 3.5 mm jack > No auto focus for front camera. Useless oneplus 6t. Samsung S8+ and S9+ are far more better> No memory card slot > No 3.5 mm jack > No auto focus for front camera. Useless oneplus 6t. Samsung S8+ and S9+ are far more better> No memory card slot > No 3.5 mm jack > No auto focus for front camera. Useless oneplus 6t. Samsung S8+ and S9+ are far more better

  • dissapointed that it still does not have microSD memory card support, i will still pass buying 6T. Oneplus is just a hype that it listen to consumers need. Why still not include this SD memory when everybody else have it.

  • > No memory card slot > No 3.5 mm jack > No auto focus for front camera. Useless oneplus 6t. Samsung S8+ and S9+ are far more better

  • it must be fine as most are saying it works great one more thing the company said we need to put on the glass protector first, then go for the fingerprint settings.. it'll be easier for the users and for the phone to read accurately over the glass protector

  • Well I got midnight black one and it's mega NOT slippery at all and very nice to hold

  • I barely use it because face unlock is amazing, but fingerprint works great although it takes more time than face unlock.

  • And what does this help? Being able to brag about how much RAM your phone has?

  • Why are you telling me to use camera? Original post wasnt me. I didn't say i take thousands of RAW photos. Please check.

  • You should be using a camera.

  • Gone

  • phone has an outstanding RAM

  • does it support MHL display

  • what about fingerprint sensor buddy

  • woah since you take thousands of RAW photos then you shouldnt even be looking at phones under $1000...

  • always on display is removed too for the OP6T...

  • i did a bit of research...other than the "bigger" display and bigger battery...its not worthed it to upgrade from the 6 to the 6T...unless youre from OP5T and below...

  • using a phone to its full potential means you are always travelling and recording 4k?download 1000 apps(eventhough not all apps downloaded is even used)?for the price its sold at,256GB is a bang for the buck even without microsd card slot.need a bigger storage phone?get the Note 9 512GB + 512GB microsd but its twice the price.

  • no 3.5mm port?no problem.no ip68?no problem either.but no notification light?come on...and that notch looks so OPPO and VIVO.yeah i know i know same company bla bla bla.guess ill stick to my OP6 until OP7 is out.

  • Just played around with it today at Tmobile and not one thing made me wanna trade in my S9 for it. Not that exciting,no stereo speakers,no IP rating. Display was ok but brightness level is not very high. I am a fan of oneplus and am a loyal customer of Tmob as well.Could've walked out of the store with that phone today but did not.Kind of a boring phone .MEGA slippery too.I honestly could not take my eyes off of the notch either.Oh well.

  • Head phone jack available or no

  • Im in the queue for Op7

  • Dual sim

  • can i am going to buy oneplus 6t in United states and will it support in india without any problem?

  • This phone is a work of Art,more premium than all the other flagships. The best thing about this phone is,it is a Beast with very moderate price compare to other brands.

  • I need to know if the T-Mobile version of this phone a Dual Sim or Single Sim?

  • So I bought my OnePlus 6T yesterday and got a backpack, laptop case, t-shirts, hoodie, 4 phone cases, cap, some kind of a handbag for free. That was a pretty good deal haha anyway phone is so smooth and that charging definitely saves your time. I always thought that it's gonna be huge but apparently, I can even text with one hand. So far I can definitely recommend it

  • yes its support

  • Do you take pictures, or record videos, maybe some 4k videos, while traveling maybe? Do you use large productivity apps, or play some games? Do you use your phone to its full potential?

  • Give me single reason to upgrade from oneplus 6 to 6T. This is only good for new buyers.

  • Read my Friend...

  • Does it support otg memory.

  • Next year is the prime time of upgrading as they release the new Snapdragon 855 chipset..samsung s10/plus would be the first smartphone to received one, like always and followed by other manufacturers...march should be the s10/plus release, april should be sony phones and followed by oneplus in may,so thats your option if you didnt want samsung..if you didnt want to wait you can also go for the new mate20/x/pro,the first smartphone with their new kirin 980 chipset...they only release a new chipset every november so you will have their best chipset for the longest period of time, which is 1 year(manufactures release new chipset every year,so people rather wait for the new ones than buying the current one if its less than 6 month)..i recommend to stay away from xiaomi as theres alot of complaints about touch problems on their phones,so better not risk it

  • Nope, no LED notification on 6T. You have an Always On screen this time (was removed from 6 due to battery drain issues).

  • So what you get: Larger memory and ram (if you get 256gb version, otherwise it's same) A bit larger screen but shittier resolution. 1080p (1+) against 1440p. (s8+) Better front camera (I guess?) Better CPU (people say it's much better than 835 but it actually isn't THAT much) 3700mah battery instead of 3500mah battery. (Not sure how it compares but I think battery life would be better with 1080p display instead of 1440p. Gorilla glass 6, instead of 5. Android 9.0 from box. What you're losing: (oh boy, here we go again) USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.1 No headphone jack. No SD card. No second sim. It's heavier. Same LTE speeds (for an upgrade, right?) No Iris Scanner No heart rate No Samsung DeX

  • Not in opinion, in screen fingerprint slower compare with big brother OP 6, if you really wanted blazing fast experience, just get op6 or iPhones xs if iOS don't matter. I can say oxygen OS as fast as iOS, I don't know other android room. Nice experience

  • No led light indicator!?!?

  • I'm looking to upgrade from my Galaxy S8+, would this be a good phone to switch too? I'm not happy with the lack of updates Samsung hasn't put out. My phone seems to be slowing down and I'm forced to reset to fectory default every couple months to bring it back up to speed. Not to mention the OS is just laggy and slow. Apps keep crashing or hanging up. Not to mention the battery life isnt great and only seems to be getting worse. I work 8-12 a day. Im rarely on my phone throughout the day. I use it to play music while I'm delivering parts to accounts, but that's maybe 1hour of use at most.

  • No. Sprint uses it's own cell bands that aren't compatible with this phone.

  • Easy now. There are additional reasons that an SD card makes sense. Not the least of which is for photographers who need to quickly move large photos between devices. My workflow in the field has me taking thousands of RAW photos on heavy equipment, transferring them to a laptop for processing and transferring them to a phone for easy syncing to the could so they can be used immediately by collaborators. A non-SD phone is a showstopper for me. Workarounds/cables are very error-prone and add additional time that I don't have.

  • only 3700 mah?

  • Can this work on Sprint?

  • When are we having the red colour?

  • If you still need a micro SD card slot with 128Gb or 256Gb internal storage, I'm sorry, there's something wrong with you. Micro SD cards are also very unreliable, as many have found out the hard way. In a few years we might have 1Tb internal storage on some of the high end flagship phones.

  • Why there is no memory sd slot?

  • keep dreaming

  • just pay 37,999 rupees. available now. buy it on Amazon.in . if you want

  • A smart man/women right here. See's the whole picture

  • Even the battery is Li-po not Li-ion. The li-po life line is no more than that of Li-ion battery.

  • Slowly this bullshit copy cat companies are copying essential ph-1 phone design and named it as water drop notch WOW. Iam a fan of nokia but if even they continue to follow the unifinished notch trend i will be away from them too. Want a Notchless phone in 2019. 2018 tired of same copy cat unfinished notch trend.

  • This thing is a beast, no doubt, would love if they had included wireless charging too.

  • I'm surprised at all the rancor in the opinions. For the U.S. market, this seems like a beautifully practical phone. I guess I understand some of the frustration about the headphone jack, given OnePlus' stance in the past, but get over it. They provide an adapter, and frankly, unless the phone has an FM receiver (which I do like) wireless is the way to go anyway. Some of the other phones mentioned (like the Pocophone) are functionally useless as phones in the U.S because of poor carrier bandwidth support. I'm not a fan of notches, but this little teardrop is almost nothing. (Compare this to the $1000 Pixel 3xl's huge notch.) Higher screen resolution (kinda ridiculous on a tiny screen like a phone) is a significant battery hit, meaning a bigger battery or faster drain. My 42" TV is still only FHD, which is getting dated, but this still looks pretty amazing when shrunk to 6". I must admit I'm disappointed about the removal of the notification LED. With the flared-out teardrop shape, I think they could have squeezed it in. IMO, a phone greatly benefits from either a notification LED or always-on display. Having to keep firing up a phone to check for notifications wastes time and battery. Another thing a lot of critics are ignoring is OS update and security patches support. OnePlus seems to "get it" in this area. As an IT security specialist, I can assure you that this is a critical factor in your phone decision. Most of the flagship phones (with the exception of Google and Apple) have horrible support in this area. Buy a $1,000 phone and it will be out-of-date and a security risk in as little as a year. Might as well flush that money down the toilet. Other objections I've read: o Battery capacity: Well, it's significantly more than the 6, and I like that they chose Li-Po vs. Li-Ion, which should be safer and more airline-friendly. o IP-xx rating / water resistance: I'd like to see a true IP-68 capability, but if the certification is too costly, I care more about the capability than the certification. o SD-card: Really? 256GB isn't enough? The $1,000 Pixel (on my short list of phones, largely because of its top-notch photo capabilities and OS support) only supports 128GB and no expansion. o Price: I think keeping the same price structure as the 6 was a wise choice. Some features gained / some features lost. I think OnePlus is well-situated to put even higher-end features in their phones to make true flagship-killers at 1/2 - 2/3 the price. I do have security concerns about a Chinese-manufactured phone, not because I think the company is evil, but in some countries, manufacturers may not have a choice if the powers-that-be want to insert themselves into what is arguably the greatest potential spying device ever invented. (Many see Kaspersky antivirus as a prime example of this, and we have credible reports of other models - mostly those sold only in China - being compromised out of the box.) Finally, if you have a 6, I can't see a compelling reason to upgrade. The 6 is fine and is in no way made obsolete by the 6T. But for those of us with an older phone and limited phone budget, this looks like a very good value.

  • why battery is only 3700 mAh. frustrating.

  • I don't know when OnePlus really learn the purpose of secondary camera. Atleast this time they have to use wide angle or telephoto or even monochrome. Why OnePlus just setteled for No meaning Depth Sensor. Pixel can create 'Bokeh Effect' with single cam. So OnePlus be aware next time.

  • Look at that ugly tiny notch!

  • Did he even mention Apple

  • You must be new in the iOS-v-Android debate.

  • This is what the Pixel 3 XL should of been

  • He didn’t even mention Apple and judging by his comments on the headphone jack he probably doesn’t even use an iPhone

  • It's better than Apple, Apple doesn't support bluetooth, can't share files from system or any other device, need to install software for music files. All bakwashhhh in Apple, but still some criticizing OnePlus. OnePlus is always best in price and features. Better than any device, better than Apple.

  • What a bad phone... Not even talking about its shitty looks, but only usb 2.0 ???? No headphone jack ???? This is a joke.

  • Yeah I agree. That's why I'm not upgrading my HTC 10. It's still fast and has the LED notification & 3.5 jack. I can't fathom why most phone companies are emitting these features which should be a mandatory requirement for mobiles. FM radio and removable backs should return as well, they were fantastic features and it's a massive shame that they've been eliminated in recent years..

  • Will this phone be compatible with 5g network?

  • Card slot: No - useless device. narrow-minded manufacturer.

  • Second android phone on the global market and the best from Asia... For my taste ;)

  • You are not required to turn the phone on before you use the fingerprint scanner in 6T, where did you get this idea from?

  • all Inclusive

  • how about special white and red versions will be also by 6T available? like it was by oneplus 6?

  • Why should we buy this phone?totally waste money. No card slot, no headphone jack , no different ,totally waste of money,,,,,

  • Because ios is restricted to idevices where as android is open to all, That is the beauty of android, If ios opened to all then it will become most crap os because of that fear they did not made it to all. Grow up man why dont you think first before saying anything

  • No Headphone jack that stupid fingerprint scanner No LED notification No improvement in Camera WTF u did oneplus? u totally disappointed us

  • Ok, I get the fact that using an in screen fingerprint scanner, probably requires you to have the screen on, so the light can scan your fingerprint, but to me, this is BACKWARDS "innovation". On phones with scanners on the rear, place your finger on the scanner, it unlocks & turn your phone on. Now, you are required to turn the phone on, THEN press your finger on the screen, and from other sites it sometimes takes one or two presses for it to work. Not to mention removing the notification LED...Oppo saving a buck along with the headphone jack "oh, we can use a bigger battery" LOL, yeah, removing that super tiny jack allowed for a bigger battery. Out of the gate, as with EVERY Oppo manufactured OnePlus, it will be fraught with bugs requiring update after update to correct. So, save yourself a few weeks to a couple months before purchase. I'm not saying it is a good or bad phone, but, from past phones built by Oppo for OnePlus, the first off the line has the most issues. For their sake, they better have them corrected because T-Mobile will drop them like a hot potato if people start bringing them back to the store for a REFUND.

  • - very small battery. (we need a big battery, no fastcharging) - no sd card - no radio - no 3.5 jack - no notification led totally indifferent, thanks oneplus but you did not do something different.

  • The headphone jack is needed if u are interested in pure audio output and clear sound creation.

  • You can buy gorgeous Mate 20 instead of this crap

  • Nokia 1100 doesnt have headphone jack and no thats not the future go back to sleep please.

  • No headphone jack = bad phone

  • Hi Would anyone please help me with a decision by giving your opinions. Will the 6GB variant be enough to use? Because I was wondering to buy the Type-C bullet earphones..

  • Note 9 doesn't have in display finger print scanner. By the way even samsung will do away jack in future phone. that's the future, grow up or buy nokia 1100

  • is the 37999 price inclusive of tax or need to pay tax additional in india amazon

  • is india price 37999, is the base price or inclusive of tax

  • The oneplus 6T has none of the following.... No dual speakers No waterproof and dust proof rating No wireless charging No headphone jack No AOD No led notification light wtf Gimmicky under screen fingerprint scanner which ain't perfect Who would buy this crap when you can get a S9 now for a similar price which has alot more or other phones also, hell I'd rather have a LG G7 than this rubbish.

  • it has faster charging than the note 9 and iphones fast charger so do some research bud

  • I love almost everything about this new 6t. I just wish the phone had telephoto lens for its secondary camera. But again the new upgrades from the oneplus 6 is nicer.

  • Badass

  • Apple is very different ecosystem. iphone 5s gets ios12 even Pixel devices device get upgrade for only 3 years. So no can compare iphone and android head to head. Android OEMs & ODMs have to learn from Android only although they can take inspiration.

  • Learn from Note 9? Everyone is following Apple's footstep.

  • Most of the things you listed are gimmicks. IR blaster, really? The point is, this phone has flagship performance for half the price. The internals (SD845, RAM, storage) and performance are the same. Why would I pay double more to get a phone with the same SoC?

  • No waterproofing is still walking behide others.

  • no ultra fast charging? oneplus dash charge is one of the worlds fastest charging technologies... what are you talking about?

  • Reason is well acceptable, on screen finger print reader means nothing should be in its path, and note 9 have bigger body

  • why won't OP use always on display? phones with smaller batteries manage it ok.

  • OnePlus CEO to increase capacity they removed headphone jack. They have to learn from Note 9 which comes with 4000mah battery, Headphone Jack and even S-PEN. The reason is not justify.

  • Regarding waterproofing: Most phones in mid-segment have some medium level of waterproofing. But very few get certified. Oppo/OnePlus tends to test for accidental spillage or raindrops/condensation but not for submerging in water or dropped into the sink etc.

  • 500$ V30 - 2k Oled Screen - IP68 - wireless charging - way better camera : photo&video - better battery life ( 93h vs 90h gsmarena ) - Quad DAC - HDR10 compliant - Always-on display - microSD card Slot - Headphone JACK - Ultrawide camera - extremely usefull - Stereo FM radio with RDS And that is 2017 Flagship If we compare it to 2018 flagships : Mate 20 Pro, Note 9, Lg V40, Iphone Xs etc etc IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE MIDRANGER WHY THEY KEEP CALLING IT FLAGSHIP KILLER ? - No STEREO SPEAKERS - NO IR BLASTER - NO ULTRA FAST CHARGING - NO S PEN - NO NOTHING SPECIAL .... I mean, it's a good phone for the price. But NO flagship killer here...

  • OnePlus was always known for value. Now they're known for generic Chinese phones with disgusting designs, no innovation, average cameras and a steep price.

  • see the comparison below..very hard to find any differences in specs..its like twins

  • Just launched in India. How much does it cost?

  • Still no ipx rating. Disappointment

  • no more a flagship killer ill go with lg g7 thinq it has a better price and things to offer

  • More expectations but -ve we have got no headphone jack no front firing dual speaker slower indisplay fringerorint reader same design uglier notch than 6 no camera improvements still price increased waiting for the 6t was not worth i wasted 4 months without any phone to buy 6t not 6 but now i feel wasted i will buy 6 coz its having headphone jack faster fingerprint sensor and price cut after 6t launch

  • Ah, Android & chins. A real love story! lmao

  • No notification led ? Wow that's another level beside loss of jack for rip purpose

  • Not everyone will like that pop up camera. Some people dont even like notch. So nothing is outdated. You are not informed. :)

  • No headphone jack and stereo speakers

  • This specs with dual cameras, price should around 400EUR, slow upgrade

  • Purpose of 19.5:9 or any 18:9 screen smartphones is to hide the notches so to become 16:9 screens again.

  • Disappointed!! They removed the audio jack and continue following the Apple's ways

  • Not worth upgrade from one plus 6. When one plus 7 come maybe.

  • That water drop notch is so outdated, should have used pop up camera like the Vivo NEX S

  • In an interview Carl Pei said it was water proof, but they just didn't see the point of adding $30 to every phone to get it certified with the IP rating guys

  • still usb 2.0 , wich means no usb-c to hdmi? no thanks

  • How can it be Mi Mix 3 killer .. it has the same spec except for less ram and storage .. oh and costs more.

  • So many whinny people in this comment section. Where are ya'll getting this expectations from? The OnePlus 6T wasn't meant a huge upgrade from 6, if it did then ya'll would be complaining because they made the 6 obsolete. Yeah, it sucks it doesn't have a headphone jack, but a phone starting at $549 with 128GB with 6GB of RAM, under display fingerprint scanner is a steal. If you're disappointed then wait for OnePlus 7 and complain even a higher price tag on that phone...

  • There's no such thing a waterproof phone. Water resistant? It might be, learn the difference...

  • Oneplus 6t posted slower benchmarks than Oneplus 6. GSMARENA compared the 8gb Oneplus 6t to the 6gb Oneplus 6 and the 6gb Oneplus 6 got higher scores lol

  • Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 killer

  • Height of drama in prices, this 6T won't click in market sheer volume of sales coz of pricing sector is in different degree of scaling

  • Still usb 2.0??? No hdmi output. This is a big joke

  • No waterproof rating for a 500 quid plus smartphone in 2018 is completely unacceptable now and yeah it's cheaper than my s9 plus but at least I don't ever have to worry about sending a text in the rain or answering a phone call with my Samsung. With this phone I'd be worried about doin both and also that the phone would die if it got really wet. Go back to the drawing board oneplus.....

  • Just compared with Pocophone F1 and I think F1 is much better than OP6T

  • Also no waterproof.

  • No wireless charging, no headphone jack, no 2k screen, no notification led. A big no for OP6T. No innovation at all. After OP3 OP is just making money instead of becoming flagship killer they are killing their inovative skills for money.

  • No front camera improvement. Very bad

  • No longer desirable. As stated, better buy a Zenfone 5Z, Mi 8, Mi Mix 2s, S9 or S9+, Note 8, P20 Pro, etc... With all them you get extra interesting things, from the stereo speakers, passing through the more capable and variety cameras, IP 68 rating, audio jack, FM radio, pen... dependind of your choose. The under display fingerprint sensor is not an excuse to remove features and increase the price again. Sayonara OnePlus 6T, another grain of sand cloned in the desert of phones, this time even expensive for a phone without nothing special that make it unique or appetizing/interesting.

  • No LED notification light.

  • no dedicated memory card slot. no deal

  • One more shovelfone

  • IP68?!

  • I agree

  • Waiting for one plus 7.....

  • Mix 3 cheaper and more innovative. Only reason to buy this over Mix 3 is if you're going to get that $300 off TMobile or u really care about battery.

  • Didn't settle, they went backwards. Shame.

  • Iheartradio App

  • Both OnePlus and oppo is owned by a single parent organisation

  • One plus mobiles like android one mobiles receive two major android software updates and security updates for three years

  • The OP6T is a backward step, no headphone jack and the (slow, unreliable) fingerprint scanner on the front. Why did they bother?

  • how long does one plus give their phones updates ? for example : android one = 3 years i like the one plus phones but afraid of lack of update support

  • Go and buy an entry level phone instead then lol

  • Exactly!! If the camera is that important to a lot of you, go and buy a £400 real one!! It does the job just fine for most people. Remember, the camera function is supposed to be a bonus on a phone and not to be used on a proffestional level. I really don't understand how some people are so obsessive about it lol

  • Please tests results "Oneplus 6t" (GSM ARENA).

  • Big problem very weak signal indoor (inside) room only. ( Oneplus 6t ),

  • -oppo super vooc- is more faster than "Oneplus"...it has 50 Watts output power and 5V/10A. Battery Capacity is Li-Po 6500 mAh. fast charging technology will charge the smartphone to 90 percent in just 20 minutes. that is good 2018.november.

  • Why is the camera do so important to you, are you a photographer? Maybe an Instagram's model? Just because some mobile review sites decided to focus their focus on camera, overlooking, performance, battery, call quality, etc, should we allblindly follow that trend? This trend was imposed on us by the companies so they can excuse absurd prices. Oneplus was never after cameras, they were mostly about the vfm and performance. Of curse as a complete solution, thy are trying to improve on every department. Yes they have the same hardware they used 6months ago, but they improved the software, esp thenight mode, which was their greatest weakness. The selfie cam has a much better aperture and willbe much better at low lght conditions. In the same time they improved the battery, reduced its width bellow 7.5cm and kept the overall performance above most other flagships. (Even beats mate 20 pro on antutu)

  • No headphone jack.... No order

  • Depends how desperate you are for a new phone I suppose? I am happy no wait, while others will want to update asap.

  • Only reason to pick it over oneplus 6: battery

  • If this had wireless charging it would swing it for me. Nope? also going oneplus 6

  • Does Oneplus 6T can beat pixel 3xl and mate 20 pro

  • What's with all these clowns commenting on it's specs, features and what not? The true specs hasn't even out yet! Heck, none of you even have tried it yet! Copy this copy that. To all those ifans (personally think they are apple workers) commenting here discreting op6t with all your bs copy this copy that? Apple copied the moment they decided to make a phone. I know it's hard for you to read this but they didn't even make the first phone! So stfu and wait for the actual review for even having your pathetic unwanted opinion.

  • Agree with Liam Mackenzie

  • worth the wait.. dont wait for one plus 7 like the guy said below

  • Camera is same as oneplus 6. So I'm buying oneplus 6.

  • I think I'm going to wait for the One Plus 7.

  • Can anybody guess whether LED notification light will be present in 6T. If it is there, where it will be placed.

  • There are already 7" phones. search up the huawei note 20 on this site. its one of the few that are springing up.

  • I'm Going to buy it, its only gonna be 100 usd more than the motorola moto z3, but its spec sheet is the same as the note 9. So in my opinion its a buy. this will last you, if you are a person that does that, 6+ years before it ends up like an Iphone 5... preparing for the dump

  • I disagree. I'm personally not in the Apple ecosystem but from what I can tell most people use Apple products for Facetime and iMessage, Android/Google's number 1 priority should be making those 2 apps Android compatible some way, via a 3rd party app or making a deal with Apple themselves. It will never happen though, Apple know they can keep producing substandard phones with poor specs as long as they keep updating iMessage and Facetime and keep those apps for themselves. It used to be the case but for iTunes, but with the development of Spotify and Youtube and other music streaming services i think Apple users are far less hyped up about that these days.

  • So after reading all these comments is this a Buy or not ? I need a new phone, dudes

  • So, now it has microSD slot... but no more 3.5 mm jack!!! LoL !!! WTF And give me a break with that ADAPTOR of yours, guys, it's shite, you lose quality of sound! And yes, over 90% of ppl would prefer the 3.5 mm jack not because we are "oldschool", but because it's better & more practical!

  • OnePlus 6T would look cool on chrome mirror

  • That would be 1000usd phone

  • Yep, i'm yet so see any brand copying the great loudspeakers of the iPhones. Or the long-term software support. These are the only good things about iPhones and yet, the only things nobody is interested in copying...

  • Thing is though, that they are copying them for all the wrong reasons. Dropped the sd card support, 3,5mm jack, fm radio for selfish reasons, they overprice higher capacity versions, multiply profits with music services and unneeded accessories. Its not wrong to copy the good innovations, but its disgusting to see themcopying everything just for the sake of it. Apple is aiming at Instagram girlz, oneplus has difference target group, you cant sacrifice your battery capacity because iOS consume less and you need to look the same no matter the cost. They have lost the plot and good measure with the intensity of copying, imo

  • It isn't really 6.4". With the super tall aspect ratio (19.5:9) its screen surface area is smaller and the phone size will be significantly smaller than the note 9. Ever since samsung messed with aspect ratios, every manufacturer is manipulating the numbers, even apple. The irony is that the human eye is side to side, not vertical so it really makes no sense other than for ability to hold the device. There's a reason movies are made the way they are. Human eyes are horizontal. This trend toward super tall phones is absolutely ridiculous.

  • do we know if the OP6T will have always on display? this feature was disabled on OP6 due to battery life but OP6T has 400mah more.

  • There are countless phones with smaller screens. A lot of people me included love and need the phablet form factor.

  • Camera needs inprovement

  • I don't understand what's with all "No 3,5mm Jack - End of the world" comments. If you are still living in XX century I don't think it would be that much of a trouble to stick a small adapter to the cable of the headphones and leave it there. Also if you really like your headphones you can buy 5$ Bluetooth 4.0 dongle and make them wireless.

  • when #oneplus bring Qhd+,stereo speakers,ip rating,great camera,wireless charging

  • Update to my previous message... Every manufacturer and Genius would always respect every other's intelligence in this world. Every mobile manufacturer know that Apple is an innovator and Genius. The multi-touch function of a mobile's display is invented by Apple. Oneplus knew that they can't stand before Apple to launch their product. So they shifted. It might be a token of respect towards Apple or for their own business reasons. The fact is that Apple will always be respected by everyone. To respect others is the real wisdom. I respect those who respect others.

  • So be it. The world always copies everything from its seniors with or without modifications. You learned to live your life from your parents and society. We learn everything from others, the society. Why these criticisms? But, the thing is, whether the bread tastes good or not whoever who makes it. I accept that there are innovators like Albert Einstein. Above all, the divine fact is that even the innovator Apple won't bother as you do. Inventors are made for the welfare of the society and to copy, update or modify and use it. There is nothing wrong in copying a Genius since it is always worth it. Good Luck.

  • Why is the screen getting bigger and bigger?!? It's now 6.4. It's ridiculous! I guess it's a matter of only a few years before we start having smartphones with 7" screens. In my view, the screen size should be capped at around 6".

  • If customer service and warranty support isn't important to you and paying shipping costs, waiting for your phone to return back to you, then by all means get the OP6T.

  • I'd cancel your order, but I wouldn't bother with the OP6T. If money is an issue then buy an older good quality phone from neither of these two.

  • If camera is important to you pixel is hands down better. Everything else I would say 6T is better.

  • I have pre-ordered the Pixel 3... however, after reading about the issues with ram management and audio, I'm wondering if I should cancel and wait for the OP6T?

  • Best RAM and Battery i'm sold. I heard the headphone adapter is included anyway. Wanted the Pixel 3 but the RAM is disappointing as is the Iphone, i am hoping this will have a more attractive price tag too.

  • There isn't info about the weight, how do you know that?

  • No FM radio, No jack 3.5, Too big, Too heavy = 4 reasons to buy another phone.

  • Man camera is an upgrade if it gets the variable aperture lens. Thats probably the biggest upgrade on the 6T vs the 6. I think thats the only reason why im thinking of getting it. And also no ugly big notch anymore, but just a teardrop. The lack of 3.5mm does hurt though.

  • I’m excited about the phone. The fingerprint scanner will be in the ideal location, on the front, the way I utilize my phone. I definitely don’t need the 3.5mm jack anymore as well, between syncing with a treadmill, home audio system, and utilizing the phone as a testing tool at work, it is ideal for me. I just want it to be durable and withstand multiple drops in a slim case, be water resistant because I get into all kinds of mishaps.

  • MicroSD card slot? Is it really true or mistake?

  • One Plus 6T has Android 9 i.e., it come with Android Pie but the info given above is Android Oreo

  • Slow motion in camra

  • Oneplus are becoming more and more loughable. They appeared a cheap alternative to Galaxy S and iPhone flagships, with the software support of the best mod team. They kept innovations to minimum and charged to be the best vfm offer. They copied iPhone front and Galaxy S back and curves, naked Android, iPhone silent switch, iPhone 7.7mm thickness, iPhone notches, iPhone sealed batteries, iPhone dropped 3.5mm jack. And now they want to reschedule their release day because they don't want to miss Apple's presentation... They really are ifans

  • yes silly to max, they should change name to oneiphone

  • I see only difference in the name. Other minor difference - - Main Camera Downgrade - Selfie Upgrade - On screen Fingerprint Scanner - I find backside scanner better and very comfy. So nothing +ve takeaway. Why should i buy it???

  • haha no headphone jack and no stereo speaker, wtf oneplus

  • Will they launch in red colour?

  • seems like you know a lot... byebye oneplus no 3.5 no buy!!

  • regular mate 20 is at the same price and better by any parameter PLUS IT HAS A 3.5!!! byebye oneplus- youve lost your way

  • 5X Optical zoom, 10X hybrid zoom and 20X digital zoom or I ain't giving a penny to Pete Lai.

  • Memory card slot missing : (

  • Buy a good wireless headphones is not a easy quest

  • All are crying because the op6t doesnt have a headphone jack. the future is wireless. go buy some bluetooth headphones from amazon for 20$ and buy the phone because it will be the best phone. its so annoying -.-

  • iPhone X to this??

  • Why wide ange camera? Why not telephoto? :(

  • I wonder when phones with 16GB of RAM will come out. Maybe in 5 years? ;)

  • indeed

  • duh

  • Well accidents happen dude. I've dropped my S7 a few times in water and didn't worry about it. When I dropped my iPhone 6 Plus, I just about had a heart attack

  • While still dropping the 3.5mm jack and the possibility of not including the mciroSD card or Stereo Speakers? They haven't been listening to the fans since the 5T.

  • Why not take it to the shower IF IT IS WATERPROOF? Your statement contradicts itself.

  • I'm pretty sure this device will ship with Android P 9.0 and not 8.1

  • 1+1 model Number 7 release date mid march just after Samsung S10.

  • There are others who find the certification information useful when deciding which gadget to buy and are willing to pay extra for more robust gadgets. Especially those who work outdoors for long period.

  • I don't see the real necessity of having an IP-xx rating. Just because Apple and Samsung started pushing it as a selling feature, others need not follow suit. For most of the buyers, water resistance doesn't matter. I don't think people spending 600 USD on their phones will actually take their phones to swim, shower or to a walk in rain.

  • Its simple, no 3.5 no buy. Its like oh weve made a phone without a battery!! But were selling an external one! Its best! Apple doea it too!

  • I actually want OP6T, because it's missing 3.5mm headphone jack, I want be different! and never used headphones on phones.

  • ...OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also confirmed to CNET that the OnePlus 6T won't have an IP water resistance rating, ... Bye-bye, Oneplus! Hello, Samsung!

  • I won't buy any oneplus' phones any more since they have removed the audio jack. RIP OnePlus 2014 - 2018

  • it should be 4000 mAh battery you know, we can see the Pocophone has take and replaced OnePlus to become a true Flagship killer with it's trade Value for money.

  • What??? is OP really going to finally up the battery to 3700mAh ??! OP is actually listening to its fans.

  • I am waiting on this phone. I have no need for the headphone jack so not a deal breaker for me.

  • If it has microsd slot, i buy it.

  • 2160p@30/60fps. You'd be able to change between 30fps and 60fps.

  • Just buy an adapter for less than a $ and you won't care.

  • I miss Jack :(

  • How come 6t is only 4k@30fps, when onePlus6 can go upto 4k@60fps. It cannot be downgraded right?

  • How is this more expensive than the 6, 6 months later? Here are the differences: - No headphone jack - Bigger battery - Somewhat improved camera (a camera that Samsung had a year ago) - Smaller notch - Underdisplay fingerprint scanner So where is the added value after 6 months? I would get the 6, but i hate the huge notch and i would get the 6T, but the removal of the headphone jack is just stupid. I dont see anything on this upgrade thats worth spending 600$ on.. Oneplus is no longer a flagship killer, or has good price. Oneplus was the cheap phone with the hardware that matched expensive phones, but now it's no longer cheap. Oneplus needs to make a bugdet phone and sell it for 350$ and keep the flagship at 550$

  • Does it really have Hybrid dual SIM slot? So really it comes with Card slot??

  • Whilst Samsung(mainly) and LG keeping the 3.5mm then still it will be relevant!! hope the customers will punish you!!!

  • Vote with dollars, do not buy this jack killer! O3O

  • I hope that they give up the b&w sensor to put a wide and a tele "camera" (lens). If they do that, I'll probably buy one. The design is nice (too big indeed) and all of the rest is usually great. The fingerprint scanner under the display, isn't a dealbreaker for me.

  • With notch and no 3.5mm jack = no deal

  • I've used the moto z for 2 years with no headphone jack. The only problem is when you want to charge your phone and listen to music/videos using earphones at the same time. But with oneplus quick charging, I'll only need to charge the phone for a few mins so it don't get in the way. Wireless charging I would never use so don't care its not included. Unofficial IP rating is more than enough for me. I take care of my phones so won't be getting it wet often. Notch is perfect. Better having the notch it has than no notch. Battery is plenty big. Fingerprint scanner should be quick enough. Can't wait to buy this phone. Well worth the reported $30 more than the 6 launched for. Im a big fan of large screen phones and this 6.4inch fits in a small frame. Never previously owned a oneplus phone. This phone should stay usable for many years so worth paying the prove for it

  • hope it's gonna have IP rating and stereo speakers and improved camera and I'll buy it over the Poco F1.

  • Yes of course, the camera will be one of the selling points about this device after the gimmicky under display fingerprint scanner. It'll come with a variable aperture just like the Galaxy s9 and the Note 9 series for lowlight photography and I believe that the secondary lens will feature a 3D stereo camera like the Oppo R17 Pro which kinda sounds great on paper although i would love to see a telephoto lens with atleast 3x optical zoom like the Huawei P20 pro but it is what it is, OnePlus has a bad habit of never listening to their fans, OnePlus does whatever OnePlus wants. To know more about the Upcoming OnePlus 6T, just Check out the specs of the Oppo R17 pro, they're basically the same, the only difference will be the Chipset (Snapdragon 845 on the 6T vs the Snapdragon 710 on the R17 Pro), everything else is virtually identical.

  • Should I go ahead with one plus 6 or one plus 6t. In india we have offer on one plus 6 tomorrow for 405 dollars around. Need your suggestions. Will there be any upgrade on camera side?

  • No 3.5mm jack,no interest.

  • what i love about one plus: OP5T 401 ppi OP6 402 ppi OP6t 403 ppi

  • 8GB ram 128 rom ha na

  • OnePlus 6T

  • One plus 6t

  • One plus 6t or xiaomi mi 8 pro?

  • Of course, this phone pronounced as One plus Sixty.

  • I am sad to see OnePlus at this time like not caring about what people think is still very important, I feel OnePlus has lost its own characteristics. I want OnePlus to follow Samsung's way of not copying other manufacturers and brands and always be persistent in maintaining their characteristics

  • It's speculation on my part, but I'll be extremely surprised if the in screen fingerprint sensor is as fast or faster than the one on the back of the OP6.

  • slower fingerprint how can you tell??did u try it?

  • Still no IP certification, still no wireless charging, slower in-screen fingerprint sensor, no headphone jack, and another bump in price. But hey at least we get a tiny bump in battery.

  • They should finally introduce dual speakers.

  • why,reason

  • It means u don't have knowledge of gadgets.

  • No head phone jack? And will cost more that OP6. Design looks ugly. Its more like a NOPE phone.

  • OnePlus was once the flagship killer, but not anymore. They make the price of their pones higher every year. Prices are getting close to samsung, huawei and other brands.

  • garbage phone dont buy it, take nokia or huawei instead.

  • Yes, exactly my point Thanks

  • "no 3.5 headphone jack" Excuse me but wtf? I took Carl Pei as the type of dude that is consumer-orientated, never thought that he would also join the dark side. If they actually remove the headphone jack, then I've lost all my faith in OnePlus anymore. Consumers don't need to tolerate this. #TheJackIsPolitical

  • This phone is outstanding it have everything an excellent phone should have and it dont have any extra garbage which would increase its price like stupid jack IP68 and so on. Just waste of money. But the phone its self is AWESOME.

  • 20MP when it's actually 16MP

  • Yea and better hardware specs suggest it's meant for people who'd use their phone more (And for heavier tasks). WTF is wrong with manufacturers? They've lost any common sense. Except for Apple. Their customers would buy anything, so Apple is not screwing themselves, only their clients.

  • Since you can get big batteries in budget phones (4000 mAh, 5000 mAh) expectations for batteries have gone up. $900 or $1000 or even $550 for a flagship with average battery is a no-go. Once you've had a big battery you can't go back. Companies selling Android phones in the US for more than $300--it needs to have a big battery going forward. Apple buyers of course will pay any price for an average battery.

  • Punchy camare.not good

  • Be ready to pay more 200$ for just in Display Finger print scanner

  • yet you will be missing an immersive water drop notch display, an improved water resistivity guarding your phone against the rain, and liquid. you might not be able to root as unlocking boot-loaders on xiaomi takes days sometimes months, you will be missing the in-display fingerprint sensor, you will not be privileged to faster android updates and you will miss a lot on speed, fluidity, optimised and smooth operating system and oh an amazing community that addresses all issues and discussions, all this you are getting on the oneplus so yeah it definitely will do things your Mi won't. see the difference?

  • This 6T model is very beautiful, but I still prefer my One Plus 6.

  • probably will cost $650 USD. why not make 5000mAh battery? Never bought oneplus before but am not spending more than $300 on any phone. i will buy Xiaomi mi max 3 and do everything this oneplus phone will do. plus I will have headphone jack lol. next year buy max 4 and still have some change.

  • Sooo close....needed 4000 mAh plus battery. I can live with the notch and no jack, but battery, give me a battery.

  • Huawei will release Kiring 980 which faster than 845 60% .. and u still using this shit even in the new release ?

  • I do agree the specs mentioned in are unofficial... However, OnePlus is known for speed and they will never add SD Card Slot for any reason... I think the specs are pasted directly from the Oppo R17 Pro... Atleast they managed to remove the TOF Camera... :D

  • Snapdragon 855 isn't even out yet... Probably won't be out until 2019. Agree with everything else though.

  • IP rating is must

  • WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH! Where did we hear this thing was getting a hybrid dual sim and finally a secondary camera lens that ISN'T the same aperture as the primary!? Ugh....that battery though...at least if this is true and it has Wireless charging and stereo speakers, I may consider this phone in the future depending on what the Razer 2 and LG V40 do with their specs.

  • I think consumers like you settled for that headphone jack, that's against their slogan.

  • hybrid dual sim????? i would prefer no microsd card slot at all and maybe adding a better feature. hybrid dual sim are useless, completely useless, what's the point of paying for all pieces if you can't use them together? oneplus became the same garbage as other manufactures.

  • If there's no wireless charging, this will be a fail. It's an integral part of anyone's life once they have it, having a charger in my car, office, bedroom and living room I can't go back to carrying around a cable again for top ups.

  • No. No. No. I hate Hybrid Dual SIM. I like only dedicated dual sim card slot with dedicated memory card slot

  • why stopping here, get directly sd900 + 2x 3.5 jacks ...

  • Not cool, need sd855 and 3.5mm jack and 4000+mah battery would be nice...

  • The do listen to their customers...That's how they wlways know what to do to troll them and give them the opposite of what they need. First with the missing sd and removable battery, then the notch, now the 3.5mm jack.

  • yes they never settle it seems

  • Well Gorrila Glass 6 Android 8.1 maybe 9 and USB-C 3.1 count me in. This phone is outstanding.

  • Well they do and customers are bored and tired of jack so they removed it finaly.

  • Also i presume it will ship with android 9 not 8.1

  • Why wouldit only support 4k video at 30fps when the OnePlus 6 can already do it at 60 fps?

  • no 3.5mm audio jack? I thought OnePlus always listens their consumers' requests?

  • Don't get me wrong, i'm not a Samsung hater, but Samsung is one of the brands many people buy because they are "premium" and not because they care about the jack or the SD card (Although there are many like you who do). And this can never happen with brands like

  • What are your babbling there? I've migrated from Sony to Samsung because of the missing 3.5mm jack. And I'm a Sony fan. The same thing applies for the SD card slot. Yes, there are people who will go for a different brand instead of their favorite one if they can't get useful features.

  • I want Oppo's Super VOOC(50w) charging

  • Well that would make zero sense. Power users don't compromise on things like 3.5mm jack. Lack of SD is OK when internal memory is 128GB. Still won't be enough for everyone, but it will be a very small minority of people who will need SD card compared to those who need 3.5mm jack. Not to mention power users care about the battery too. So Oppo targets...nobody. It's not for those who seek a fashionphone and it's not for power users/geeks. And certainly not for those who seek cheaper deals and value for money (Not anymore, not like the first version).

  • If using next new SD855,I will buy.

  • I bet OnePlus wants to retain its power users by including microsd slot as STANDARD after 3.5mm jack is dropped for the 1st time since inception if rumors are true.

  • Since when does OP have the SD card slot? BIG improvement, but still not interested in china brands.

  • Nope, pass. 3.5mm jack and at least 4000mah battery (I know, i know, optimization blah-blah. Well even with optimizations this is still not enough for a day of heavy, 3G/4G usage. And not to mention it will be even less an year later when battery degrades. So even 4000mah is a bil low, but bearable. Less? Nope) and we may have a deal.
