OnePlus 6T McLaren - User Reviews

  • Im taking the book to the school

  • how about iphones before introducing waterproof models.... it was epensive too without waterproof right??

  • Been using this beautiful bad boy for 6.5 months. The underscreen fingerprint sensor is not working very well from the beginning, I tried different fingers and even people Screen is beautiful, responsive and clear, everything works super smooth, this is defiantly the best device I have owned. Highly recommended. Battery still charges 50% in less than 30 minutes and lasts for more than 24 hours.

  • I am using this phone for 3 Months. Before I had iPhone X, I changed it because in low light iPhone X is pretty bad in photography and also in regards to speed its way better than iPhone X. I still use X because of its Company phone. For me, this is the best phone I have ever used, Amazing performance.

  • I happen to disagree with you on that , unless someone that you trust told you that ! On the other hand , how do you know that sugar is sweet , if you never tasted it before ?

  • I don't have to eat crap to know it tastes bad.

  • I’m Android user and I do agree with you about iPhone.

  • I'm android fan and owned all iphones. Iphones are nice devices but if I can not copy my videos to my phone and play just like that and stream to tv and select mp3 as ringtone then apple is just a phone but not smart enough for smart user.

  • Eeeerm. I need stereo speakers. For games. PUBG mobile on one speaker is rubbish.

  • That's problem bro for cardboard VR, min for VR at least is 500ppm. Before that u will notice dot pixel. At this time I very consider to change my phone just for high ppm. Flagships phone but not VR ready, that's disappointed. Even for samsung, Huawei flagships are Google daydream ready.

  • 256 gb storage but usb 2 ? Is oneplus nuts ??

  • The OnePlus 7 will also apparently have a beefed-up 4000mAh battery, which will be powered by 44-watt. "Dash charging". Full charged 15 min. 5V/9A . Android 10 Q .

  • Cannot buy any OnePlus as there's no wireless charging. I don't care what's the specs (CPU, GPU bs), i just need: - wireless charging - waterproof - sd card - dual sim - fingerprint on front - root, no root problems Almost no match on the market.

  • So nobody remembers when 512mb of ram was/wasn't enough for android? Os and programs keeps getting resource hungry and manufactures keep feeding it.

  • No waterproof? no 3.5 mm jack? expensive phone that would be garbage if accidentally drop to water..

  • Yes, it is essential... for smartphones running on Android anyway.

  • Nope. Snapdragon 845 doesnt support it

  • Pixel Density isn't important at this level. The resolution is so high, I have a super high PPI and a high PPI phone and the images look exactly the same.

  • Hi Brother is this 5G compatible?, pl..

  • I noticed that the highest pixel density count amongst current phones is 570 dpi on the Samsung Galaxy S9, & 5th is the McLaren at 402 dpi - Does this concern anyone?

  • ys it does works

  • The 5GHz band is the primary target for all of the above, although shared spectrum bands (specifically the US CBRS band at 3.5GHz) are also of interest. This is defined as Band 46 (5150 to 5925MHz) and is TDD mode. Many countries have regulations regarding fair behaviour to unlicensed spectrum.

  • does anybody knows if this terminal support LAA in band 46? also, anybody knows if it works with MIMO 4x4? any website where we can confirm the answers?

  • Love a good snob on a GSMa comment section :')

  • 10GB is essential, all phones should have it. If your phone doesn't have 10GB you are simply a degenerate. Don't talk to me about inferior handsets. Goodnight, God Bless

  • 3GB of RAM on iOS is literally equivalent to 4GB - 6GB of RAM on Android. Unlike android devices which fully rely on the hardware since they do not own the software (such as Samsung, OnePlus, etc.) they have higher amounts of RAM. Why do you think the Google Pixel series has lame specs? Because Google controls BOTH the hardware AND the software. This is the exact same story with Apple. They control both the hardware AND software, therefore iPhones don’t require as much crazy specs like other phones do. Before complaining about the iPhones so-called mediocre specs, do some research because you clearly are uneducated and think the only thing that matters is specs, which is false.

  • Then dont get it. Its that friggin simple.

  • Sad, isnt it?

  • Who needs stereo speakers? Seriously, who?

  • Actually, OnePlus does that. Apple doesnt give a flying hoot because they know 99% of their iPhones sell well regardless of what Apple does. And youre a hypocrite, because Android fanboys always do the same thing. They complain about iPhones and yet they never even owned one. So we therefore have the right to do the same, grow up and get over it.

  • to answer those who say 8gb ram is enough, have been hearing this song and dance for ever! there were always people who say 'this much RAM is more memory than anyone will ever need' FYI we will be seeing introducing some flagships with 12gb Ram in 2019. some people say the Snapdragon 845 Chipset does not support 10gb ram, again wrong it's not relevant, unless if you were talking about L2 cache and DRAM RAM is important for multitasking & enables processes to run in the background, more RAM means that you can have more processes and therefore more apps running at once. also you can easily run the most powerful applications and eliminates all doubt in its ability to do so in the future As a OP6T McLaren owner i think the only downside of Mclaren edition is it's price but to be fair it has much more accessories in the box than other OnePlus's products. i have either flashed ROM or had a device with Touchwiz, Sense UI, MIUI, Xperia UI, CyanogenOS, LineageOS, AOSP and i can confirm OxygenOS is good in many ways. and have acceptable support. only AOSP can compete with it.

  • come on mate. Upgrade !

  • fair price for an excellent design (may be expensive but it all sort things out in fair) great specs

  • Why would you need 10 gigs of ram I just dont understand it...

  • Hi all, yesterday I received my Oneplus 6T McLaren and I am very happy with it, fast and very reliable as they are advertising everywhere.

  • prayers wont help you

  • good luck and god bless you

  • Still It's a big dream for me to own one plus 6T McLaren, hope I'll never get this phone due to my inability bit praying God He will make the fortune wheel turn towards all the good luck Prayers

  • But it's not the first also mi mix 3 forbidden city , black shark helo and nubia red mars have 10 GB of ram Maybe they have an exclusive snapdragon 845 that can support 10 GB of ram

  • Link: Under specs - memory (Up to 1866MHz, 8GB RAM). Unless I'm missing something there is no way around it. There is a reason why other phones such as Note 9, S9+, LG V35, HTC U12+ and Sony XZ2 etc (they all have the same chipset) don't have more than 8GB RAM because it doesn't support it. Still a decent phone though.

  • How to find chipset supports 8 gb ram not an argument just a question?

  • Which is better choice between OnePlus 6T & Huawei Mate 20 Pro.....? Just need for normal use & a good decent camera. Smooth OS & fast response from the phone.

  • First ever 10gb smartphone that doesn't support more than 8gb ram. This is why I know you're a fanboy. Look up the chipset it supports max 8gb ram. All marketing bs.

  • Dear Friend They don't have any choose 😁😁😁 They dont have tell about theirs phone maybe just benchmark. If Samsung didn't sell screen to apple imagine what happened. Screen until ips lcd. I'm so sorry for any person that thinking to brand.

  • lol,, 1st ever 10gb ram smart phone.. 40k php in phil.

  • why does apple guys have to comment over android phones... irony apple has to pay for benchmarks!!!

  • The phone supports a max 8GB memory. lol. FAIL

  • The fastest Qualcomm processor can barely achieve two generations old Apple A series

  • You are comparing your mid range phone with a flagship devices , go get a Note 9 instead

  • Taking 700 bucks still not giving stereo speakers... Puck off overpriced

  • You're a hater because Samsung phone in 2018 are shit and are non-quality. I have an A5 (2016) and I want to change it with a Huawei. You big loser !!!! Samsung phone are the most annoying one. Ever !!

  • and its still in first place lol, hater!

  • Love this phone, so lucky to order before it sold out. Not sure the 10GB will do much, but as flossy says, 'Its better to have more than you need, than need more than you have... Beast of of phone, until the 7 with the 855 shoes it's face

  • Is it me or is the OnePlus the only 845 powered snapdragon phone with a Cat 16 modem??! All the other 845 phones (note 9, HTC 12+, etc) seem to be running cat 18 modems. Wonder what difference this makes when it comes to Data Speeds? Cat 16 is what typically came in 835 Snapdragon phones. I thought version of snapdragon chipset dictated the type of modem you got. I did not realize that manufacturers could mix and match modems on chipsets....

  • It seems like everyone is obsessed with water resistant/proof cell phones I would like to know what’s the percentage of phones that are lost to water vs drops onto hard surfaces , yet not one bitches about it

  • Sammy phone is annoying

  • The difference is a bragging rights , color details and a more exposure/ recognition brand name , McLaren is a world known brand , so OnePlus association with a brand name like that potentially can bring more brand recognition for the phone builder , just like another one tried it with ( Designed By Porsche ) model

  • the difference its 2gb more ram thats all nothing in +

  • No IP68, no deal.

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • This "McLaren" thing is utter bull**** in my eyes and in my mind.

  • 10 Gb ram and "McLaren" colours

  • am not gonna lie it's a great device i love it,but i will never cheat on my sammy, and as how the person said below, they should have made ip68, it would have been a complete beast:)

  • what is the different to this phone and 6T

  • Yes, They do. Their Iphone X only has 3gb of ram, mediocre if you ask me. Plus, the note 9 has 1440p screen, the iphone X has an 1152p screen. All of this for $1000? These specs do not match the price. Here is a 10gb ram phone, with one of the best processors on the market, for $800. Can't beat that.

  • oneplus 6t. for sure

  • Well, Apple doesn't make mediocre device with mediocre camera and mediocre screens. There's a difference.

  • Economy in USA is 100x better than yours. Lol

  • I remembered the times when 1GB ram is enough for average users.

  • Sony phones already had IP67 on their 2014 phones. Why can't OnePlus do that? Is that really an expensive feature or they're just too lazy to fix their water damaged crap phone?

  • Should i buy oneplus 6t, iphone 8 plus or sony xperia xz3

  • Looks like I'm Gonna Switch to this phone once it is available in the Middle East

  • Well Samsung S10 will be released with 1TB and i think 32 or 64GB is more than enough for anything else SD card come in handy. 10GB of ram is nice to have. Look at iphones 6 versions 1GB ram. 7 had 2GB ram 8 got 3GB ram and now 4GB ram. And most people said IOS is so optimised it dont need more than 1GB ram and now Iphone 5 barely run with latest IOS.

  • For whhat??? How many people would pay 100+ for a waterproof??? Not many. Its a good feature for 5% of clumsy careless people. Anyone else find this 100+ bucks feature useless.

  • Anything with android is a lot beter and more friendly than laggy buggy IOS which does not cooperate with anythung even itself.

  • But huawei phones papart from mate 20 porsche design dont cost 1250.

  • What are you going to do with the IP certification. Are you that clumsy that you drop your phone into dust and water on daily basis? If not then OP has enough protection against splashes and some dirt. As you know all of the newer phones are glued shut and all of the holes have some kind of protection against water, ie. rubber rings around usb and sim card tray. So, are you willing to pay more just because the phone has IP certification?

  • Compared to useless S10 with 1TB HDD for 1500+ is very cheap. Also oxygen is hundred times better UI than samsung crap.

  • 10gb of ram is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge gimmick. Stoppppp ppplleeeeeasssseee, 8 is already enough.

  • OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, if you want the McLaren edition.

  • OnePlus 6T

  • Still no have waterproof

  • Really?

  • Would love the same in 6.01".. Could be near 152X72.5 and better for the user who use their smartphone with a glass or a mouse in the other hand

  • Should i get op6t or iphone 8+. Pls let me know thx.

  • As for Apple, does not sell this year for the reason of overpriced phones. If OnePlus sell the phones for 500 euros, Huawei does not sell her phones 1250$ but 600$. Don't thinking like american mate ( because the american way of thinking, is obsolete, like your economy In The USA)

  • It's cheaper than the iPhone XR

  • oneplus is not overpriced lol. if a company like huawei or apple made phone with these specs, it would cost like 1250€/$

  • First, wait for the price. Be careful! Will be a very big price.

  • That color is cool.

  • A beauty beast. And a specifications beast.

  • OnePlus Generally, is a nice phone but big minus are : overpriced and the lack of - IP68 dust/water proof certificate.

  • Just lucky now I'm gonna get 6T McLaren , if not I would purchased 6T 8Gb Ram with 256 storages Tomorrow in Bangalore at MG road I'll purchase McLaren
