Panasonic GD67 - User Reviews

  • My first Mobile phone purchased out of my first salary way back in 2003 in India. It was one of the best mobiles of that time although not very popular like Nokia phones but way ahead of Nokia's basic phones. The best thing was the interchangeable back cover.

  • My favorite phone of all time. I have very fond memories of this phone.

  • My first phone

  • I still have this. Lovely phone in those days.

  • require spakar & ic of spekar & battery upto4400 mhz

  • My First Phone its gr8

  • My first ever phone.. So many beautiful memories and such a superb phone it was... Panasonic GD67->Samsung C100->Nokia 3200->Nokia 3230 ->Nokia 3250 ->Nokia N80 ->XDA Atom ->Nokia 1202 ->HTC touch diamond2 -> Samsung Omnia II ->Samsung SIII

  • Still a lovely device. My first advanced mobile phone 10 years ago. Found it today in the drawer, it charges and runs without any issues. Makes me smile again :)

  • I never miss that phone (My First Phone) Superb.......

  • How to Format the mobile....

  • I don't know what made you say so chodan, but this is one heck of a mobile. few years back i used to have it, and once my nephew threw it hard at ground, it broke into pieces, i took all the pieces put them back into their place and up she goes again... it was great mobile.

  • The only thing I can say 2 u is "UPGRADE", that is all.

  • i don't know how to activate the vibration on this thing. can you please help me?

  • my mom had this phone for about 3 years an she gave it 2 me and i have it now for about 2 years. it's really strong, but really boring so i'm gonna buy a nokia.

  • Initially it was working fine... but now phone gets hang after some time.... some time its screen goes blank.... for correcting this i need to take off the batery.....

  • There is a constant message box full symbol on my GD67 even when my inbox is empty. Can any one help pl.

  • bad phone, messages get rejected saying inbox is full when it is atually empty, after a year something went wrong and does not allow to store messages in the outbox

  • really wouldnt encourage anyone to get it.cuz u would hav to be spendin money on it all the time. the speakers go bac afta a while and the GPRS its all dat either and u get viruses while using it which causes u to hav ur messages rejected. doesnt allow u to download much. u can get a few ringtones though but no games. the little ting at te bottom isnt reliable either, it keeps jumpin off.well if u still want to buy it go ahead. its your choice to make.

  • i had this fone for a while. it was ok at first then afta a yr it jus started givin problems. the speakers went bad. due to the wap feature i had gotten a virus which caused all my messages to b rejected.i had to keep carrying it to b fixed. if i was usin it for a long time like (using the GPRS) afta a while the fone would jud shut off. eventually i traded it for a nokia but i must say it was a nice fone, good enuff features, very small and neat.

  • very good phone there is one problem with the battery.

  • i have GD68 model please send me info on how to record for 1hour with it thanks.

  • i had this phone and it was the best phone ever but then i sort of dropped so when i took it to the shop to get fixed they lost the charger and the black bottom bit so now i am stuck with the vk wich does not work!

  • I heave an GD67 and I can't activate my GPRS. If anyone knows pleas write me([email protected])

  • I am having GD68 model. I could not download ring tone of our country(India) especially Tamilnadu

  • i am using gd67 for the last 2 yrs.i am having trouble with gprs activation.i am at trivandrum, kerala.using bsnl sim card.iwould like to know the settings details for gd67 so that i can use the gprs facility provided by bsnl

  • i'm 16 an the reason i bought this phone is becuz it's reallly small, light and cute but after havin it a yr i realised it has some major problems..... 1. i can neva properly connect to WAP 2. the games and ringtones totally suck 3. even wen my inbox is empty there's this red envelope on my screen and the phone sometimes rejects msgs 4. the small bit at the bottom got loose and fell off so now the back doesn't stay on 5.picture mgs neva come through

  • oh i was not reading between the lines either.. its not you bob. its someone who left the field name blank... my deep apologies..... and about the fone going off, i'm seeing the symptoms now...

  • BOB.. Your not reading between the lines... i said "IF ONE EVER... EXIST" Review the forum....... but you should agree with me when i say this is a good fone for your 99 buck... good luck BOB greetings of peace from the other side of the planet....

  • i have this phone, and all i can say is that it is excellent and reliable, only minuse is poor build.

  • Lester Johnson, i would be very much obliged if you could tell me whereabouts i could purchase the phone u mentioned with parachutes. i must say having just bought this phone it is fantastic, but parachutes sound like a good extra

  • I tried to check the price and i was wrong about $140.00. it's already $99.99 nextime, check the price list before commenting about the price in this forum wahahahahhahaha shame on me!!!!! but again, what else could you expect from a $99.99 cellfone $99.99 Beat four JACKS!!!!! urgh.... yawning CRAPS!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a good fone, not the best but good fone. i've read most of your comments and the one that got my attention was "it always turn off by itself." wow, wiered. you see these fone has a battery saving feature "turn off" and "turn on" on time. you can find it it "applications" and then "clock function" set the time for it to "go off" and when to "turn on". i dont make fone calls while i'm sleeping, so i configured it to turn off at about 1:00 am and back on at about 5:00 am, saves battery... if calls are important to you then just dissable the feature using the same procedure. about the net/wap/gprs features, ofcorz every piece of device has limitation. crap? ehhehehhe. what do you expect from $140 cellphone? be a mainframe computer? why not buy $10,000,000,000 worth cellphone with surround sound, dvd player, MP3, Media player 11, parachute, stealth capabiites, SAM, nuclear reactor, link with nasa, mutli-lingual dictionary, plasma screen, cable-tv ready, xbox, GPS system, maps of every street in the world, built-n airconditioner, gas range, camping tent, wardrobe cabinet, 50 cal. machine gun, stinger missiles, anti submarine topedoes etch!!! if one ever exist. my point is this is $140 cellphone, what do you expect? next time, think before posting in this forum. Pieces of neurological CRAPS!!!!!

  • this is the worst phone i have ever had.. the replaced it 3 times with the same model phone and all 3 failed me with-in a week... they ended up giving me a nokia in the end.. :D

  • this phone is amazing, its everything u could ever dream of, im purchasing this beauti tomorrow and i shall keep it forever

  • This phone is terrible the softare starts to go bad after a short time and there have been alot of problems associated with text messaging. I must say that it has a nice design though

  • This phone is the biggest heap of crap I have ever purchased. The phone turns off all the time when you don't want it to. The phone will not vibrate even though the vibrator is in working order and you have set it to vibrate. I have had so many missed calls due to the phone turning off or not vibrating

  • go for it is so cool, and its easy to use.

  • This is the best phone i have ever seen. its aerodynamic shape is just cool. features are enomorous. And off course performance is brilliant. I am in love with it.

  • to MP: you are in 2005 of corce this phone is crap...idiot

  • this phone is crappppp!i had it 4 a yr n now iv got o2 x3. it ad a major design fault- the bottom bit lways used 2 come of until 1 day i lost it and now the back cover is keep on coming off! it used toget jammed wjile i was ringin ppl and it used 2 charge and when i tried pressing my keys it didntwork,i had 2 take my sim n battery out 4 it 2 stop charging. the picture quality is propper crappppppp! when ppl send pic msgs it don't open. net takes ages 2 connect and doesnt really work properly. while ur ritin txt doesnt tellu characters/ how many tts ur usin- after uv texted it says ive used up 2 txts! its crapppppp. it has crap games and it is boring. ring tones r crap. it rip off. i got it 4 80quid. it has no camera/videocalling/fm radio/mp3. its js sooooooo orin.

  • crap

  • I am very happy to purchase panasonicGD67, But iam not able to downloade any ring tones and screensavers, animations, so kindly pls help any on bye hari

  • salut

  • It is simply the worst phone that I have ever had. It would be more appropriately retailed in Toys R Us. Scrap it!

  • When i first saw this phone i loved it, so my partner bought it for me for my birthday. The day i got it i went on the net and downloaded 2 songs. 3 months later and i still hadnt received my songs. I had been charged for these ringtones so i emailed customer services and they said that my phone was not compatible although i had already checked to make sure that it was. U are supposed to be able to get polyphonic ringtones on here aswell, which i have to say is a lie i have tried on numerous occasions and have failed to receive my songs what i do receive is a load of rubbish which u cant even understand. I am very annoyed with the fact that on the boxes and in the manuals it says that u get all this stuff when actually all that you are gettin is the same as any other normal phone that does not receive polyphonic ringtones etc. i would not recommend this phone to anyone.

  • news about panasonic gd 67 and mms

  • aaaaaaaa

  • I had this fone for a year and it served me well. Everything was exelent wid this fone except WAP didnt work for a while. This fone is 1 i recomend to sum1 that isnt fussy. I HATE FUSSY PEOPLE. P.S USSR!!!!!!!!

  • had it for 1 year, now starting to fail.

  • So dispointed Firtly, after buying this sux, I bought a data cable because i though it can connect to PC (to edit image from PC to mobile). But I cannot find the PC editor solfware anyplace. So,the data cable is useless. I dun understand who can use a mobile phone as a moderm to connect the internet??? U really stupid panasonic Then, there only way to put some new image to yor phone is via wap. But in my country WAP service fee is very expensive, To put 2,3 new images i must pay 5 USD About melodies, you only find some country in panasonicbox, that you can receive melody via SMS, but unfortunately, my country is out of service, besides, melody of Pnasonic phones (even GD 87/88) is so so so bad. You know, i cant find any place to take some new melodies. ok let me use this phone to call and receive calls only, no game, no PC editor no bull shit But, then after 4 months of using , my phone always in the status " SIM ERROR", i though my SIM is wrong, but actually not. It works in the other phones. So i call it a "SIM EATING MACHINE" Besides, the battery can not attached close to phone, it sometime shut down automatically. So troubles when using this fucking phone Dear Panaman and for all want to use it I was a panafan , but now, I reallly dispointed. Fucking Panasonic seem not to care their customer I hate ya panasonic, if you know i must spend 3 months salary to get yor phone, and getting also troubles

  • I have this phone and I can tell you it sux! Worst colors ever and my wap doesn't work. the backlite of this phone is even wors.PS:which phone do you recommand me if I want 1 whit 65k , photo and video and a big en good screen ? pleaze sent back.

  • How i can download polyphonic ringtone via wap-gprs on my gd67? Today is 21.nov.2003

  • how can i put my photo to my phone?

  • what the hell do u mean adds 4 moons to its features??

  • Its good, specially the ring tone composer adds 4 moons to its features. the only backdrop is that it does not have MMS & Java capability.

  • this phone is excellent! estato web site is brilliant for backgrounds!!!!

  • this stupid phone dosen't have any facility to conect to internet Dialog gsm - sri lankan mobile sevise dosent work that gprs wap if u can find free ring tones web for panasonic gd68 send me. thanks a lot...

  • how much is a panasonic gd67 in english please!!!

  • My GD 67 shown a permanent red coloured message logo on the screen , though my message box is empty. can anyone suggest a solution .

  • It IS possible (and easy) to add words to the phone's internal dictionary. 1) In Abc mode type desired word 2) Select T9 mode, then press the navigate left key to highlight the word. It is now stored in the T9 dictionary.

  • I had this phone for 10 months before i traded it in on a Siemens S55, so I'm in a good position to comment on this. When I bought this phone, it was the only one in that price range with a color display. Now ofcourse, everyone's got color (in varying degrees!). Positives: Price. Whole list of features, although not too many of them are actually functional (see "negatives"). Built surprisingly well. I must've dropped this phone a dozen times and it still works great. Although the plastics have taken a small beating, the phone works with no probs. Thats about it for the positives! Negative: Features!! Although the specs say it has a whole lot of em, they are not all very usable. E.g. the speakerphone is only audible if u r a dog! Speaking of volume, you'll have a tough time hearing ppl in noisy places, but the mic is waaaay to sensitive, so the person ur talking too will hear everything else except your voice!! This was the main reason I traded it in. SMS - cannot add words to the phone. ITs T9 is not very easy to get used to. The software is just not very well thought out. E.g. U cannot insert a tel no. from ur address book!! this is a major pain. Lastly, it has ZERO resale value. Nobody want a used panasonic! So there you have it. It looks Ok (if a lil' tacky) the price is great, and it has (on paper) features. BUT, the main perpose for a phone i.e.calling, is not handled too well, and neither is the SMS functionality. There are other phones out there that can do all this for the same price now...so you got no reason to get this one. Do yourself a favour and buy a Siemens...you will not regret it.

  • gd67 is my second panasonic cellphone. It has really easy and nice menu, also functions are so usefull. only one more thing i would see in this phone - java nothing else. small goodlooking very nice phone

  • i want GD67 polyphonic ringtone from where i can get it

  • It's a good phone but i'm not sure .....

  • cheer guys! i found out about this website from my cousin and have been downloading several ringtones. it is quite cheap and affordable for the latest and cool ringtone. however, u shouldn't register using a hotmail account cause they say that it is unstable.

  • i am unable to download any ring tone and pictures or screen saver on this phone. please direct me to appropriate directions so that i can hear and download tones and pictures

  • I've had this phone for 10months ish now, I got it when ti first came out. If u just want a phone, buy this..If u want a phone that does something useful...get another. The battery & everything else if good. Its a phone for a plain jayne..no games, no ringtones..hard to find ANYWHERE..don't buy it. There's no point in having a colour phone..if it don't do anything..it dont' even recieve media messages.. I warn you..RUN WHILE U CAN... Save yourselves.. From this phone with cheap 80's japanese games and sega megadrive ringtones on it. SAVE YOURSELVES!

  • this phone is great, i really like the super light weight. and the free downloads from panasonic box using the wap(apperently people are having trouble with the wap but is ok for me) the games are crap to start with but you can download different ones to replace the crap ones. the 3d stick works a charm and this is still(i think) the cheapest colour mobile out at the mo, well worth it in my opinion.

  • Kikol!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trusty me the panasonic is better than the T300!! Although i cant get WAP to work and its PISSING ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!

  • I despise this phone, after having bought and used it for a couple of months. Don't make the same mistake that I have made. Avoid it like the plague!

  • I woundered if you could download games on the panasonic gd67, and also if you could add photos that have been taken from a digital camera, then put on to a computer, then on to the panasonic gd67. please could you answer my questions.

  • this fone is boring, crap games crap ringtones, better off getting a sagem my x5 for the same price, it has better sounds games screensavers, better wap looks better, the my x5 is better in all aspects!

  • it is a very good phone but the only problem with it is that the unlocking codes do not seem to work at all.

  • For Emma. The GD67 can use text composed ringtones - see "melody composer" in the tones menu. Here is A site to help with available Panasonic text ring tones (that you type in): More could be found quite easily I'm sure.

  • I myself have this phone. I find it hard to get ringtones and good games for it without paying an absolute fortune. Now for nokia phones you can type in ringtones free from the internet and i think this would be a great idea to do for the panasonic GD67. It would also be great to get games costing only the usual price of a text message

  • i think the panasonic gd67 is a great phone

  • it is cool!

  • pretty nice phone. has lots of storage space for numbers and messages. the screen is 256 colours and looks good. its very lightweight and has good features. the spring loaded cover on the bottom is a bit flimsy and overall the phone doesnt seem as robust as some others but then if it was armour-plated it would be heavier. overall. nice phone, good features and its got colour screen. maybe not the strongest build so if ur likely to drop ur phone u might avoid this one. for the price i got it 100 in the UK, its cheap in comparison to a lot of other phones.

  • it is complicated , i can put in melodys because i don't know how

  • The GD67 fills with dust very quickly resulting in the screen looking dirty. Does anyone know how to open it up so that it can be cleaned.

  • Is possible to train the Panasonic GD67 to the receipt of the MMSs? Please answer me, it'an important thing!!!!!! Thank you!

  • i have just recently bought a panasonic gd67 and i just asking how i can get ringtones and screen savers could you please help me thanks.

  • Good Buy.I need info on Vibration enabling and Melody composing.Battery Sucks and the back cover stuff looks awkward. Any sites with composer tunes would be a great help.

  • Can anybody plz tell me how 2 download ringtones and wallpapers for gd67 . i dont hav wap access.i am from India. can it b done through data cable??? can anybody suggest what cable should i buy and does it really works????

  • Howdy my frends! im Mr Howell from Roundhay School im a maths teacher for set 7, im a gorjus guy and fancy Mrs Wood the set 1 teacher, ohhh shes got a luvly panasonic fone!P.S Joel keep my knee warm! and Anil i love U.xxxxx

  • one of the best phones i have ever bought.

  • How do I download ringtones for Panasonic GD67

  • (here you can download logos with WAP!)

  • To Need some helps: and just to mention a few sites. There are many more but sometimes a bit hard to find. The last one has a Nokia-Panasonic ringtone converter. So you can take the ringtones for Nokia and change them for your Panasonic mobile. Great, isn't it? Good luck!

  • Dear Panaman I can not choose a ring tones for receiving message, so I want to compose melody for that. But I cannot find any web site to make it, can you help me?

  • Can some one tell me how to connect this phone to a PC

  • most probably u can download ringtone from www.matrixm.com after u upgrade ur gd67/68 software to A27 / A29 / A32. I'll update it next week and tell u the result ASAP.

  • i have this phone for about 10 days... and im pretty happy with it... its lightweight , small enough for me... and looks cool... i have the white version of gd68... the problem is indeed the baterry... it last around 3,5 - 4 days in standby... but its drains fast if u are playing with the phone a lot...another weird part is the back of the phone with those pieces of "paper" that u insert... bleah... cute but useless... i prefer keeping the paper reversed so its white on the outside... :) i dont care about downloadable ring tones games wallpaper so the lack of them doesnt bother me... overall is a good phone and stylish...

  • battery suck

  • I think the panasonic gd 67 is really good but it would be better if i could get some FREE backgrounds for my phone.... please can you reply and tell me were i can find some FREE backgrounds thank you.

  • Good phone, but back cover is not good designed, also big disadvantage is missing infrared port.

  • Please help me i do not have the wap settings to work the wap. I am on O2 and live in england. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP

  • A good phone with some limitations, such as no good ringer volume for polyphonic tones. Not worth for the cost !!

  • (here you can download logos with WAP!)

  • Please help me i do not have the wap settings to work the wap. I am on O2 and live in england. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP

  • i have a problem. I can't find in wap a page for downloading logos etc.Can i or not?

  • I tried different brands over the years and I can only say that if you want a good, reliable phone with the basic features you need, a Panasonic is the best choice. Although there are some models in the product line-up which are not as good as the others (compare a GD67 to a GD75), a Pana is still the best in quality! Even Nokia can't compete with Panasonic and I can know it! If all that matters to you are ringtones and logos, you should try another toy.

  • not worth the money wish ide bought a nokia ah well

  • the current(set in) & downloaded(panasonicbox) polyphonic music sounds better than most of other phone's polyphonic music i.e. t68 and nokia 6100 & 6610. heard it wif my own ears

  • Believe it or not, a Panasonic survives even a fall in the toilet! I've seen it with my own eyes!

  • This phone is not very good. It has short battery life and it doesn't have SMS character counter, so you have big trouble writing sms which is close to 160 characters but not over it.

  • If you're a Belgian customer, you can download ringtones and logos for your Panasonic thanks to the mobile operator Mobistar. Almost all Panasonic models from the latest generation (to start with GD75) are compatible. Check your local operator to see if he does the same. The service is provided by the same operator with Panasonic, Digiplug.

  • I bought this fone when it came out, under the illusion that it would be very easy to 'personalise', now I've used the free ringtone offer, and wap is expensive, I'de say it's really hard to find anything remotly good for this fone, I aint dissing the quality, just the availability of accessories for it... Lulu

  • suckss!!!!!!!!!!! you cant download games!!!!NOWHEREEEEE!!!!

  • That just about sums this phone up! It's fine if you just want to talk and text but to personalise it... no chance!

  • Good phone but had problems finding 16-polyphonic ringtones, see EM reply below. Dear Ian, Many thanks for your enquiry. Unfortunately, the answer is no to all of your questions. Many thanks. • It's a good stuf but would u give a free one for me, so that I'll tell my friend to buy your mobilphone

  • i need free stuff

  • I think these new colour phones are just a test run for what's to come which will be far better. I think they're seeing how the public takes to them etc and will hopefully make the right improvements. New technology - always the same.

  • can u download new games cos kimmang is bollocks as is that other shit atum why the hell couldnt the get a decent game on 1 good 1 would have been better than 2 shit ens, i want pac man or a rip off version of mario summet i can play but then agen it ll jus drain the bat mine only last 14 hour now its only 3 month old piece a shit

  • i bought this fone in october and i have to say that the design of the cover on the bottom of the handset sux! mine no longer clicks into place as its supposed to making it almost impossible to use. to add to my misery, my 28 day guarantee ran out ages ago so ive gotta get mine repaired and have to live with this crappy fone!! give me a sagem my-x5 anyday, no stupid little cover on the bottom!

  • Hi Claire. It sounds like you've put your numbers in either the SIM phonebook or the mobile phonebook and you're looking in the opposite to where you've put them. When you're browsing numbers you can either select to look in the SIM or Phone or you can select All Phonebook.

  • hi i like this phone but does n e 1 no were i can fin a external camera for it if possible

  • For some reason my phone has lost all my phone numbers. When i go into phone book it only shows one phone number but then when i go into answered calls missed calls etc names are displayed fine. Also when some one calls there name appears. So does anyone know how i can't access my phone book and what i should do to fix the problem???

  • in think this phone is cool but i cant find anyringtones 4 it sum1 plze tell me

  • I emailed phonatic.net, and apparently they said the GD67 if compatible with their polyphonic ringtones. However, they arent free. www.phonatic.net and click on polyphonic

  • to hard to find good+free polyphonic tones

  • Trying to get up to date ring tones is a nightmare.

  • come on people go buy a se t300 with mms and polyphonic ringtones and better quality screen and attached camera with the same money!

  • hi phil, Also experienced black out a couple of times, switched it on again and it funcioned properly thereafter. BIG FLAW. Doesn't seem durable afterall. USE WITH EXTRA EXTRA CARE!!!!!!!

  • Do you know of any web sites whetre I can download polyphonic ring tones for this phone

  • some answers to everybody: 1) wallpaper: panasonicbox.com; esato.com; 2)ringtone: downloadpolyphonic.com (but seems promotion period is over); try to download ringtone-converter..quite useful..3) i never experienced any problem with my phone! just one thing: the socket cover is a bit difficult to open.. cheers!

  • Sorry to repeat what other people have asked, but couldn't find any answers on the site. Does anyone know where to download FREE Polyphonic ringtones in the UK (as panasonic box doesnt seem to work for me) or Games etc for this phone. Many thanks Scott

  • Why do people keep asking the same questions?!!! Read the previous questions before adding another and 'clogging up' the system!

  • Phil, I've had same problem but I cleaned the SIM card and so far so good... Matt, when it says Circuit is Down then asks Start Data Call, confirm it by pressing the joystick as it will connect you to WAP

  • Hi any1 no how 2 get the wap working it keeps saying circuit is down. And where do u get ringtones

  • HELP!HELP!HELP! This is an excellent phone and wont be replacing it 4 ages. But one thing i cant get it to vibrate when some1 calling me and cant download games ang suggestions email me.

  • Today i got my Gd67 replaced due to a fault on the last one. It kept blacking out and turning off. Having got my new one i have discovered that this one does it to. I am now goin to return it and get a Sony Ericsson t300 as they have now bin priced in the same price band.

  • I've only had this phone for a few days now. But I'm finding that the battery only seems to last for about 24-30 hours when on standby. Does anyone else find this to be the case? Or what is the average time you get? Also, not sure if my phone is faulty? Is everyone elses screen impossible to read when the backlight goes off? Only other phones like the Samsung are still readable. Thanks scott

  • jason, u need to go to personalise then ouiet mode chose your vibration then hold down the hash button, this will set it.

  • Well i think its a good little phone but i badly need to know how the hell your supposed to get ringtones??? Because everysite i have been to has never heared of this phone, most sites don't even do panasonic! Also how do u get it to vibrate? If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

  • dose ne 1 no ne sites 4 gd67 polytones

  • my 3rd panasonic in 4 months.Lost one (GD95)& traded the last one(GD75) to buy this.Opinion? good phone in terms of looks, performance and features.

  • it is a great fone but you hvae 2 buy sepouratly the cable to download ringtones which is 40

  • ive got the Gd67 on o2 from Argos, 130. ITS A *WCKD* fone! i have recorded 2 a RINGTONES and the sound quality of them is GR8! In order 2 download polyphonic ringtones, i think u have 2 get a DIGIPLUG which costs around 30 and connects 2 the fone to the net. Avaliable in all good electrical stores! (",) Whereas with the downloadable logos, I CANT BE BOTHERED. Theres good ones saved on the fone already! hehe GOD, I LOVE THIS FONE! [email protected] email me 4 ne queries u hav. xx

  • Nope! No normal ringtones downloaded or otherwise. You could try composing them yourself but if you don't have an ear for music, you're going to end up frustrated!

  • Can this phone take normal ringtons as well as polyphonic ones?

  • I purchased the GD67 for my daughter as a Christmas Present - It is very easy to use and quite stylish. However it is very difficult to obtain ringtones for -

  • FAO ali, try here -

  • if anyone know how can i find some ringtones or pictures for gd 67 pelease mail me for god sake !!!!!

  • Thanks for the info Sam. Unfortunately, even with the volume set on the notch below the top one, the Voice recorded ring tones still build up in volume. I presume there is no way around it - it's a bad idea tho because by the time your tone has got loud enough to hear the phone and answer the other person's hung up! Any other ideas?

  • Hi Phil, it's happened to me twice during typing a very long text message! Grr! Maybe we got duff phones which is why they took longer than their publicised release dates to come out? John, try ring volume second from the top (stay out of the bubble looking bit at the top as that does the ascending tone). As for wap, I would suggest you bookmark your email page then when you connect, go straight to your bookmarks before it asks you the question about starting a data call. Hope this helps.

  • I'm new to WAP. Is there anyway of setting the WAP browser to go straight in to your email? Or as close as possible? I am collecting from BT Internet and don't want to browse through pages of rubbish first! I have also noticed the way voice recorded tones do not play loud to start, they build up gradually - any solutions? Cheers

  • Has anyone else had trouble with the phone blacking out and going off? If so please help as its annoying!!!!!!!!!

  • very easy to use light weight and looks cool but i finding it hard to download ringtones to it

  • Reply to BAJED: 1. I think Panasonic does not produce replacement covers. They promised replacement covers for GD75 and didn't even come to the market (unleast in my country). 2. The built-in hands-free isn't too loud. You can't hear to the speaker when you use it in a car because of all the noise (car's engeene etc). I've tryed it myself. The quality of the sound is excellent.

  • does anyone know where i can get free stuff for my panasonic gd67

  • how do i change the settings so i get the name of the sender of a text msg in the inbox ?! and how do i use that wap thingy to get those cool pictures..i dont know anything :(

  • This Panasonic fone Rocks. Its really cheap and has great functions, well done panasonic. Ill b staying with panasonic fones.

  • I'm thinking of buying this phone & have a few questions before i do; 1. Can you buy replacement front covers, like you can with nokia, if it accidently gets cracked/scratched? 2. The built in speaker phone, does this act as a hands free able to be used in the car whiilst driving etc? and also how clear is the sound?

  • I reckon all GD67 owners should tinker with the melody composer, then publish on here what we've come up with so that we can start off a melody site!

  • Guys one of the most IDIOTIC site on earth are Panasonic sites. Some fool has desiged them no funtionality at allll..to get 1 information have to brows millions of pages..filled with sloow flash not to mention done by a idiot flash bigginer without any end design in mind.. fuck the mother fucker who designs Panasonic sites.

  • I beg to differ on Orange and the UK being the only ones offering in-fusio downloadable games. SFR (france), D2 (Germany), Movistar (Spain) and Omnitel (Italy) offer this capability, that I Know of. You will also note that these networks are part of the Vodafone group, so maybe (cross fingers) they'll roll it out across the UK too.

  • MUST READ! MUST READ! MUST READ! You can not dawnload games on a GD67 unless you are on Orange and live in the UK! For more info contact me. MUST READ! MUST READ! MUST READ!

  • Anyone know how I can get PPK Resurrection composed on my phone? I had it monophonic on my Nokia but can't find it for Panasonic.

  • What are the O2 gprs settings for the gd67?

  • Huaa!! at first i was worring about battery life but no tears! after 1.5 week the battery lasts 3 days if you dont play games or use wap much. otherwise 2 days.. phew. wap! -its REALLY difficult to put those adjustements to right order get to get logo from panasonicmobile.com. but after 1 week of fighting i made it! and now i'm wondering those dowloadable games!?!? there are none!!? does enybody know!?! overall phone is FANTASTIC so go and buy this phone before its sold out :)

  • I have had this fone for well over a month now, and it has not let down once, the battery life if good. I lost it for a day or two, and after that I realised how good the graphics really are compared...This phone deserves an OBE.

  • Can you say any of that without swearing fei? Or will you be verbally constipated?

  • Man just bought da fone last week...n returned it twice....shame thers no infrared, still da fone is wicked..luv it ,after using nokia fones for soo fuckin long..its funky, cool n smart, can change the back cover to any design u ppl desire..coz its transparent, they fuckin rock i tell ya!!!!

  • It's you - this and the GD87 are easily the best phones Panasonic have ever done. What are you going to buy instead? Sendo Stinger, oh wait, cancelled. Sony Ericsson P800 - delayed months........

  • i think that the gd67 is a very nice phone! the phone looks v-good BUT the options are a little strange you cant hardly find a good sight to download ringtones. Is there a site where you can down load polyphonic ringtones? I think i should of waited and shoulnt of got the phone to soon because there are newer handsets coming to the market. Is it me or is panasonic not very popular at the moment?

  • not enough ringtones available for this phone also ringtones arent very loud

  • the panasonic gd 67 is the best phone ever it's small slim and sly the poly rings are great u can get some for free from www.panasonicbox.com so check it out don't try say this phone is crap r u mad

  • i buy my gd68 (asia version). It is nice the color screen is wonderful. but i lack of infra and it don't have the function to estimate the battery life like the T68i. the message you send is auto save to the outbox.it does not accept pictures

  • great phone, free logos on

  • I don't like the tone of the phone on text messages and calls,it is not clear enough after being used to a Nokia.

  • PLEASE! HELP PANASONIC to build a program to syncronise GD 67 phone from PC via data-cable. I buy 80 DATA-cable, and nobody say to me that it is ONLY GPRS-cable! T: Dude

  • help (use)

  • Grieg? Didn't he write Pier Gynt? I think this phone is terrific. Really clear audio, both up and down. The hands-free feature is excellent. Some of the default ringtones are a bit embarrasing, but it does a passable rendition of pretty well anything by Yazoo or OMD (if you're interested in being more embarrassed!!)

  • Greig, do you want to elaborate on your comment?? Looks like a good PAYG handset to me.....

  • this is a really bad phone

  • PLEASE HELP! my GD67 was on charge and then it died?!? it will not turn on at all now. Any advice??

  • It rules em' all

  • Check this out as well: By the way, what is Operator Notice on Display Settings... I enabled and disabled it but it doesn't change anything...?!

  • Here is another GD67 wap downloadable content site: with the wap access page being

  • here is an site to CHECK OUT

  • I bought this phone 2 days ago and im very pleased with it today. Im still getting used to it but its easy to use. The main thing Ive got to get used to is sending sms. I can send out group sms that i couldnt with my old phone. I was not pleased with my battery at first but Its getting better now (takes up to 2-3 charges to be perfect) but thats a price you pay for a cool phone, small, light and with color screen and polyphonic ringtones. And it doesent hurt that you can make your own ringtones and also use your own voice both for ringtones and sms.

  • hello im gonna buy this phone in 2 weeks and im looking for some things to dwnload for it can some one e-mail me some sites please also where can u download the java games from?? thanks ben

  • PANAMAN, after chose the vibrate only mode by pressin and holding the hotkey for enabling vibration only mode, then u need to do this trick: go to 'ring volume' some where inside the menu hierachy, then set it to maximum, then u got ringtone and vibrationn alert @ the same time.

  • Nice phone...sexy look. I dont have wap service..How do I download ringtones

  • How can I stop the auto-save of the sent messages at the Oubox? How can I set the vibration alert when it's not in Quiet Mode?

  • What's wrong with some of you guys? The most important thing about a phone is you're able to call somebody and use sms. But no, a phone should have all of the multimedia on board! I love Panasonic phones because they don't imitate Nokia with their multimedia stuff. So, with the most important features, Panasonic phones are more reliable. A GSM isn't a children's toy!

  • Mr Hayes, Are you aware that you don't need to buy slip-in covers! There is such a thing as magazines, photos or your own imagination! Ringtones have to be downloaded through WAP, but your network operator and ringtone provider have to support it. If you're using SMS you can download via EMS or via digiplug. This GSM arena supports EMS ringtones, and panasonicbox supports digiplug - ie. midi ring tones; as an example.

  • does any one know of a website where i can buy the slip in covers? if so, please email! thanks

  • I want to know everything about GD67

  • this is one of the best fones ive ever had i give it 92318432956q3454/10 lol

  • Please tell me can i connect this gd67 phone to my computer using data cable and then download pictures, animations from my computer to the phone ?

  • How can I stop the auto-save of the sent messages at the Oubox? How can I set the vibration alert when it's not in Quiet Mode?

  • I want to buy this handset but its on O2, can someone who has this handset on O2 please tell me whether its accepts sim cards from all networks because i want to buy it on o2 but also want to use my t-mobile sim card. i e-mailed O2 but they said they are not sure and to try it on some one who does have dis hanset. Thanks

  • the price is Singapore$98 it is so cheap. The only prolem is it lack of infra, bluetooth and MMS. The joystick is cool. but the battery lifetime is shoret

  • i wanted to say that we cant exchange anything with our friends for free!i believe george made some very good negative points about not having 1 no bluetooth 2 no infrared port these 2 are the worst for me also it doesnt support mms in order to exchange pictures and other stuff even if you got to pay.even the cheap t300 from sonyericsson will support mmm and nokia 3510i which will be very cheap i believe i made a mistake buying this phone!

  • I bought the gd67 and i must say i am a bit dissapointed im going to try to sell it,the biggest problem with this is that there is no way to exchange wallpapers or ringtones or anything by the way there is no infrared port no bluetooth no nothing only by sending mms and the phone doesnt have mms!we all have to pay in order to get something we can something with our friends!

  • www.esato.com is a good site where you can download logo's. It's for sony ericsson t68 but you can download it. I haven't tried it yet but if you read the FAQ it says that you can download it also for the gd67.

  • Go to www.panasonicbox.com

  • Would you please link me to the site where i can dowmload ringtones and background pictures for "panasonic GD67" I have checked panasonic home site.I can't find anything. to download Please help me Yours Henry

  • I've found the lack of downloadable ringtones annoying. The phone as a whole is easy to use and impressive for the price. The tones sound a little distorted at the higher volumes, and the voice ringer is too quiet to be of use.

  • What are the games like on this phone? would you say it is better than nokia?

  • Don't put to top level, go to 2nd from the top

  • whenever my phone rings or there is a message alert the ring tone ascends from quiet to loud even though its on the top level (not the highest cus i know that is the one u use to make the ringtone ascend) how do i get it to stop??

  • George: the 'problems' you talk about aren't really so: these features are normally only found on high-cost handsets not available on PAYG. For the price, the phone is very good. Oh, and DON'T TYPE IN CAPITALS.

  • REPLY TO GEORGE: What does "good" mean anyway. In my opinion the phone is good compared to the quality and price if you compare this with other phones. The phone is also good if you don't use these features. Who uses bluetooth anyway? It's very expensive. Further, the quality of the camara's of other phones can be much better. The companies have to make sure that they can get back the investment of the new features...so next year the quality of these new features will be very GOOD. By the way, there are other ways to personalize this phone.

  • How do u change the screensaver?? help? download games??

  • Forgot to mention that you can download free polyphonic ringtones for GD67 in www.panasonicbox.com

  • Reply to George. A lot of new handsets out there are worst than this one. Also don't forget that this phone is only middle entry handset, it is very good for its price. Please loof at the whole picture before making inaccurate remarks.

  • this phone is not that good because there is 1)no infrared port (irda) 2)no bluetooth 3)no dowlodable themes to personalize your phone 4)no camera 5)no mms!!!i love mms generally its old technology with color screen!

  • Oasis little by little available free & some others free gratis for the gd67, this site is updated

  • Check out this website for downloading free wallpaper through WAP/GPRS and (only) five free ring tones for GD67/68:

  • I found a good link to the gd67 and the very impressive games catalogue that hopefully uk users will be able to get when a operator realises the potential this phone has as after all the documenetation suggests that you can download them, so fingers crossed.

  • I had my Panasonic GD67 last week and I am really impressed by it! The only fault I can make is that I cant seem to find good quality ringtones for my phone on the internet! It seems to be alright for the other panasonic phones, just not this one! But the phone is amazing!

  • Hi Gnell. The giff I've uploaded on my phone alternates betwee two images. It doesn't move permanently. It seems to be in conjunction with the backlight; as soon as that goes out, it stops moving. I haven't tried it with the backlight permanently on though. I suspect it would still stop moving after a while until I use the keypad again.

  • How do you delete a background pic, if don't want it anymore? - I can't find how to? - Thanks Lulu

  • Upload GIF??? Amazing! Does it mean you can have a constantly moving idle screen? Instead of the preset ones which move only very minute? :)

  • I was delighted when I discovered I could download my .gif tag from www.unsolvedmysteries.com as a screensaver!

  • simply beautiful

  • this is a suberb phone it can also use erricsson t68 colour images ;)

  • superb phone, best i have had so far

  • Seems like the perfect phone.. Can you synchronize calendar and contacts with you PC? What fields does the phone book (contacts) have, just one name - one number?

  • hi! i was wondering if any of you know where i can get this phone at a cheap price...plz plz tell me...thx

  • Hi i've just bought this phone to replace an 8210 i had stolen and i can't believe how good value it is. Its got loads of really cool features and i love it!

  • thanks sam, I was curious because I bought this phone 7 days ago. The first time when I figured out all the features it lasted for about one and a half day. The second charge lasted for two and a half day. And the third charge lasted almost four days. I have also noticed that you should charge the battery when it's empty and not if the battery is on half power. It's also good for the battery says the manual. Thanks for trying!!

  • Hi Robin. I've tried this and it's about two and a half days.

  • My friend has one and LOVES it SO MUCH. But where do we get a cable to connect it to the pc if we choose to? Thanks.

  • Hi, can sombody tell me the experience of the real standby time if you almost don't use the phone? Thank you

  • I keep reading that you can download games and ringtones onto the GD67, but where do i go to achieve this???

  • Hi there! I have just got my Panasonic GD67 mobile, and I think its great! Nice easy to use navigation, the coloured screen is fantasic (better than that horriable green!). Im a bit of a newbe when it comes to WAP technology. Thats why I bought the phone. I have figered out you can down load stuff from the web onto my phone, but I cant download stuff from my phone TO my phone...a bit strange. Im a bit dissapointed it only has 2 games. I know its not a nintendo gameboy, but 2 games....it would be nice if there was more! If anyone can tell me any good sites where I can download ringtones, pictures, animations and games, and all that kind of wonderful stuff. Please, would someone send me the URL address? But yes, the GD67 mobile, is a sexy bit of kit!

  • u want free midi tones? just download them at ..any more information on pics or tones email me at [email protected] plz.. thanx..enjoy

  • Reply for Sam: Sim Tookit is a feature which allows the SIM to run it's own applications and use the phone to display menus, make calls for it etc. There are three classes (1, 2 & 3)that can be supported by a handset. Class 3 is the latest spec. Orange in the UK have a special SIM toolkit menu option, usually called 'Information' It's not something which you can setup for yourself, and in most cases you won't know that it's the SIM doing the work.

  • Bought this phone on O2 PAYG on Sunday, and I have to say, for 130 this phone is a bargain! Its features are up there with much higher-priced handsets such as Samsung T100 and Nokia 7210. The only downside is that the WAP browser is quite slow to respond to key presses. Otherwise, great phone, so light too!

  • umm...does any one know any poly ringtone sites(keypress)thanks! also wot do you think of the games!!!!!

  • The features of this phone mentions a SIM Toolkit Class 3. Does anyone have any idea what this is, please?

  • Good little phone, the wap site is a good place to get some images from, the manual mentions downloadable games but i cant find any? This phone is not compatible with Vodafone live as yet-shame as free images are available. lets hope Panasonic push this phone as its great.

  • If you're on 02 P&G, the delivery report feature for text messages appears not to work. You can still get delivery reports if you type *0# at the beginning of your text message. Don't worry about the recipient seeing these symbols, they won't. They magically disappear!

  • In reply to Gnell: I think that the speaker is under the blue cap. It's below the place where you put the charger, a little whole.

  • I never actaully use Wap,I'm on 02. it's just I was in Italy, and there was an advert about the 67, and downloadable games, and showed a car game. Lulu

  • May I know where's the speaker of this phone? Is it also at the back like other Panasonic phones? And by the way, have you guys considered GD88 as well? Is this phone worth it? Thanks!

  • Lulu, are you on P&G 02? If so you can activate weekly wap at 1.49 per week and get 200 minutes wap each week. The site for more information is Hope this helps.

  • If anyone knows of any sites with games on, (wap) it would be much appreciated, coz u only get a month free wap with 02, and it's running out! Lulu

  • Why I can't compose a proper ringtone with this phone? I found many websites on the net with Panasonic ringtones (keypress), I compose them and the result is very bad. Is there any website with composable ringtones especially for GD67?

  • Thanks very much.

  • In reply to Gizmo: Incoming call numbers are stored under the Answered/Unanswered list. Access this by pressing the green Send key from the standby screen. Also has last dialled numbers list. THEN press phonebook key(top left) to access phonebook and store

  • I know that. But can you save it to your telephonebook in an easy way?

  • Incoming call numbers are stored under the Answered/Unanswered list. Access this by pressing the green Send key from the standby screen. Also has last dialled numbers list.

  • Is there a way to save the number from an incoming call to the memory? Or do you need to write it down first? Stupid question maybe, but I can't seem to figure it out.

  • Where is the speaker of this phone? Is it also at the back like the GD75?

  • The Phone Option is normally available on the launcher screen. Some service providers have SIMs with their own applications on them, if this is the case the Phone Options is replaced with a special menu and you have to use the phone option under the Applications

  • To nilpferd: Thanks m8...didn't think of looking in there for it...and the manual isn't very clear at all in that respect.

  • IT's Great Little Phone but i cnt find ne PolyPhoinc RingTones 4 da GD67.if u guys hav ne PolyPhoinc RingTOnes 4 the GD67 please Email ME @ My posted Address [email protected]

  • In Reply to TMD: The 'Phone Option' menu is a sub menu beneath 'Applications' menu - I had a little trouble finding it too!

  • How do i get to the phone security options so i can use PIN etc...?? i don't have a "Phone Option" option on the menu...?

  • Is there any website that you can send to your phone directly pictures and animations besides the official Panasonic websites?

  • In reply to Gizmo: You can set up your phone's brightness by going to Personalise > Display Settings > Contrast.

  • Reply to Gnell: The GD67 can store up to 100 long SMS messages, depending on how much storage space is left after downloading ringtones, wallpaper etc.

  • Reply to Gizmo: Try playing with the contrast setting in the settings menu. If too bright the colours get washed out. Try turning it down a bit.

  • Is it true that the SMS part of this phone can store up to 100 SMS messages?!

  • New site with pictures and logos for GD67:

  • I bought the GD67. Very nice phone. Just one question. Are the colors very bright on yours? In my opinion colors are a little faint. Surely when compared to a computerscreen for example. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with mine.

  • It is possible to download images (logos) for the phone through the wap surfing. The GD67 supports T68 backgrounds as well.If u want some images I have found a good site apart from panasonicbox.com and mentioned earlier in this thread. It is and is unfortunately in French. You must go to the t68 logos and follow instructions. If u have some questions u can e-mail me.I have not been able to find a site providing polyphonic tones though. Does anyone know if Panasonic Box will provide some more and better (16 polyphonic tones vs. 3 polyphonic tones) on their website? and when?tx for any info.

  • downloads programs...

  • Where is the cheapest place to buy this phone on o2 pay as you go? I have seen it in the link for 129.99 is thiis the cheapest? e-mail me

  • Has anyone here been able to use the GPRS setting on this phone because i can only use the wap.

  • GD68= Asia

  • GD67= European phone GD67= for Asia

  • can nebody pls tell me what is the difference between GD67 & GD68? and pls suggest which is the better one among the two............

  • This fone is the best about, no joke. But does any1 know where I can download games, wallpapers, anything??, or can u buy a data cable anywhere??

  • fantastic .... so good & enjoyed

  • are there any other sites than the ones listed with more choice of free ringtones? these sites just offer rubbish chart choons!

  • ok, i love this phone but i need to sort some things out. firstly, when i record with my voice ringer is there no way of setting the volume of it to maximum instead of having it getting louder each time it is played? also i cant get the wap to work... it just says network not avialable, and ive definatley put the right settings in, can anyone help?

  • Just got me a GD67. Bit of a bugger to get used to, but loads of features and great voice reception with almost no droupout even in blackspots.

  • Gorgeous phone

  • Anyone who knows were to find poly-ringtones for GD67 other than www.downloadpolyphonic.com ??

  • Reply to Alex rowley: Polyphonic ringtones are much better than on GD92. That uses DSP generated tones whereas the GD67 uses a dedicated synthesiser of similar quality to early PC sound cards or cheap music keyboards. Most of the melodies have drums, while the shrill beeps are still present for the first few ringtones. The loud tones volume ramps up so as not to make you jump with fright. :)

  • Select the phonebook option and there is a hotkey menu item. Select that and you can choose the sim or handset phonebook entries. If you then go back to the desktop and press and hold the five key it'll put the fifth entry in the sim/handset memory onto the scratchpad. You then have to press the send key to make the call. You can't directly make the call by holding down the key cos' it's patented by another company and it would cost a fortune to licence.

  • Hi! Someone please tell me does this phone support finnish language? Thx in advance :)

  • please for pity's sake, somebody tell me how to put put my own telephone numbers in the hot keys. e.g if i keep hold of the number 5 button, it will call my bird. i cant seem to do it. i'm really stupid.

  • Hi, I want to know more about this phone from a user. Its the 1st colour phone from panasonic & was curious as to whether it met my expectations like the GD92, and last as long. I've got a Samsung N600 and I hate it. Whats the quality of the polyphonic too? What do you prefer polyphonic or Normal? mail me!

  • Found another review :

  • Does not support SD-MIDI but does support standard MIDI.

  • For pictures/logos check . Haven't tested it myself though.

  • For the review/test, go to

  • Has somebody found a decent review yet?

  • Does anyone know if this phone support SD-MIDI ringtones??

  • ive used up my 5 free tones from panasonic box and mr tones uses a composer that doesnt suit gd67, someone must know where to get tones for gd67!

  • Official Panasonic Download site: www.panasonicbox.com

  • if you are looking for free tones try www.mrtones.com

  • You can store 100 messages in total (inbox and outbox)

  • In reply to SHAUN. For free plyphonic ringtones go to: www.downloadpolyphonic.com But you can only send in a few countries that support this. More info to the site.

  • does anyone know a website where u can download free polyphonic ringtones for this phone?? or if not, a site where the melody composer for panasonic phones works on the gd67, i keep spending ages doin the keypress sequences and always end up with a tune that sounds nuffin like it should!! help!

  • this phone rules!!!!!!!

  • Just purchased GD67, love everything about it apart from the fact i am struggling to find polyphonic ringtones to download

  • How many SMS can I store in inbox and outbox? Is there any software that I can send my own pictures to the phone?

  • the price is 345USD (in all market)

  • More than 40 SMS??? Maybe it's your SIM which has a large memory???

  • get compleatly free ringtones for your gd67 sent to your phone at this web site www.downloadpolyphonic.com Inever said they where good !! LOL

  • i HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE GD67 OVER THE SAGEM MYX-5 and would like to report they have not relesed some info. The phone does have a large SMS memory (dont know how big havent run out yet) I have approx 40 sms msg on oit allready. 1 bad point the screen savers only play once and dont repete

  • Were can I download ringtones for my GD67?

  • In reply to "m" (SMS message tones too quiet) - I've seen the same thing when the tone volume is set to default, which is actually slow ramp up. If you go into Personalise-Tones-Ring Volume and set the volume to one step from the top of the scale (max, no ramping) the message tone is louder.

  • If you forward a message you will keep the original in the inbox and also create a new message in the outbox. A forwarded message can be edited to add more text, images or sounds so it counts as a new message.

  • Got one question, is the message system like the GD75? That is, when you select "Forward" a message in the Inbox, it will move it to the Outbox after sending it? Thanks!

  • I just bought this phone. It is really great for its price. Exept POP3 and infrared is almost same (features) like t68

  • Does GD67 had radio like Nokia 8310? Is there any trick to its low price (comparing to Ericsson T68i)?

  • Actual thickness for this phone is about 20.0mm, not 16.0mm, you will feel more bulky compare with image. Radio reception is so far OK, comapre with Nikia 6510. Problem, is surface is slippy, paint is too smooth, need to modify more sticky ? Battery can stand 2 days, include 1hr talk is very good.

  • Press the green call soft key at the idle screen to get dialled, unanswered options etc.

  • Has anybody had problems with the message tones being quiet, not very loud, as I keep missing messages. Anybody have any problems.

  • Cheers for that - I spoke to O2 and they said that GPRS is not yet available on PAYG but to try again in 'a week or so'. Still having trouble sending texts but it turns out I can send to some phones but not to a Trium Geo @....Any ideas?

  • Answer for 'nilpferd' re GPRS WAP. The message is from the openwave browser. To stop it happening, do the following...Once you've started a WAP session, navigate to the openwave menu ( to find it, select the icon at the very top of the page that looks like a steering wheel next to a down arrow), select option 9 (settings), then select option 3 (Circuit Prompt) and finally select 'off'....Easy eh ? (Hmmm)

  • Does anybody knows if Panasonic GD67 has Dialed, Received and Missed calls lists? How much numbers can I save in the address book? Is it like Ericsson where under one name can save phone number and mobile phone number?

  • Like the phone except that mine wont send texts to other O2 mobiles....can receive ok and send to other networks but not O2....advised to take it back by O2 customer services... :(

  • I just upgraded my Nokia 8250 to this baby, no regrets. This phone is simply great, very cute and attractive, extremely user-friendly as well.

  • Just bought the phone from argos in basingstoke town centre for 129.99. Excellent quality. Great Screen. This is the best phone i have ever owned. Buy it if u get the chance. Any questions email me.

  • I'm having trouble with my GPRS wap too....get the 'circuit is down. start data call?' message. If I say yes, 'normal wap' works ok so I assume the SIM is data enabled....anyone got any ideas?

  • Bought one, gave it my best shot, but really don't like it. It's just not as good as my GD90. Therfore i'm selling it for 150 sim free. 1 week old and used twice. As new, boxed with everything. If anyone in the UK wants to buy it from me, send me an email! Ta, Pauly :)

  • is it true theres only 100 spaces in the phonebook?if so i fink i mite be choosing the sagem my-x5!!

  • does anybody know of any web/wap sites where i can download games for my gd67?

  • jus got this phone from argos in peterhead on vodaphone very good phone for the price i just want to know how to get my gprs working and if i can enable it to download the games onto it cuz it sead in the argos catalouge it could

  • It's in on O2 in Argos (Milton Keynes branch anyway) for 130

  • If you are having trouble with WAP after entering the setting try contacting your service provider and asking if your SIM is data enabled. If it sin't you won't be able to connect. They should be able to enable it for you over the air.

  • I love it!

  • Own colourful photos as wallpaper? Do u mean actually that U can take own photos and use them on your colorscreen or do u mean just the "Image-in-thing" on the back of the phone ?!

  • It`s a perfect colourful slim handy. Great for its price and moreover you can set your own colourful photos as wallpaper.

  • those setting wont work, tit keeps saying number unreachable wen i try to connect on gsm and on gprs it says network not avaliable, what am i doing wrong?

  • T68 images can be downloaded via WAP from sites like ESATO, for example. So, yes they do work. Some of the animated ones work as well but it depends on their size not only from a network point of view but also the phones point of view.

  • Someone lower down the board says that you can download and use T68 images on this phone.....Has anyone tried it and if so does it work?

  • Try these settings - Circuit Switched(GSM) WAP ------------------------- Homepage: Dialup access numbers: Home in the UK: (ISDN digital) 915000 Roaming: (ISDN Digital, but if problems, set to Analogue) +447712927927 Gateway (IP) address: 193.113.200.195 Security: Unsecure ( port 9201 ) Authtype: Normal User Name:o2wap Password: password GPRS WAP -------- Homepage: Gateway (IP) address: 193.113.200.195 Security: Unsecure ( port 9201 ) APN: wap.o2.co.uk Authtype: Normal Username: o2wap Password: password

  • the link sells it on o2 pay as you go for 149.99

  • I live in england and im on O2 how can i get my wap to work? i have been on the o2 website but they dont have the right things for me to enter, help.

  • i got gd67 on O2 payg on sunday from the link!

  • Dunno what's going on with Argos. O2 GD67 has been removed from their site, but it's still on ring & reserve, not only that but the price has been reduced to 129.95! Still out of stock though.

  • the manual makes reference to Download Fun but I have not been able to find this anywhere. I have also been told by a friend that GD67 accepts MIDI but I have not tried this yet. It would be really nice to be able to download stuff to my GD67 directly from my PC!

  • Why are 02 not doing this excellent phone on pay as you go ! I prefer 02 and really want a GD67. So, I may defect to Vodaphone just to get a GD67. 02 your really not doing yoursleves any favours !

  • to get your wap to work depends what country you are in and what network you are on?

  • just looked at argos website panasonic gd67 on O2 has been removed from their site

  • how do i get my WAP to work?

  • wheres the best website(other than panasonic box!) to get panasonic GD67 ringtones? also, how do u increase the tempo of melodies u have composed??

  • Check out these sites - Especially this one ! At last Panasonic get there act sorted out. Congratulations ! Please keep up the good work as I have always bought Panasonic Phones as wish to do so for years to come. By the way you can tell this is a European designed phone ! Well done Panasonic Europe and I am looking forward to your next product!

  • On the Idle Screen press and hold the "#" key to enable the "quite mode". This, by default, has the vibration alert on. To customise your "quite mode" go to Personalise -> Quite Mode. To disable "quite mode" go to the idle screen and press + hold the "#" key again.

  • You can purcase the GD-67 at ARGOS Stores in the UK. (149 - Visit www.argos.co.uk)

  • Hi , here can you guys find the GD67

  • Is it on sale at the link on PAYG?-Thats well good! Lulu

  • Just got the GD67 on O2 payg from the link!! initial impressions are that its a top phone but removing the cover at the bottom is a bit awkward. for 149.99 looks great value for money.

  • why is the phone not on "THE LINK" website?!?!?! there must be a website that has gd67's on payg!

  • Good News! At The Link today they were selling the Panasonic gd67 for 149.99. This was link in reading! But the sales advisor told me the gd67 on O2 would be link eclusive for a couple of months.

  • Anyone know what polyphonic ringtone formats the GD67 will support? SP-MIDI, Yamaha SMAF, Digiplug? Is it possible to download your own MIDI files?

  • aaaaarrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!! i want this phone on pay as you go!!! just release it NOW!

  • I bought this phone yesterday and i must admit its a really good phone! havent tried the internet on it yet though. i cant seem to get it to vibrate, does any one know what i should do?

  • If you want a good basic phone with a colour screen this is it! It's inexpensive - I paid 30 on contact with Voda. It has a very clear 256 colour display, which is as my (more expensive) T68i. It has good polyphonic ring tones, though the tunes sound like they've been taken from old Sega Megadrive games, apart from the one that was sampled from a police car siren.... The browser is a bit quirky you can only read 4 lines at a time so the joystick has to be worked hard to read anything. I don't like the Image-in feature. It's a photo-frame on the back of the phone. You need to put something in to hide the battery, which is a different colour to the phone, it's off-white. Thankfully Panasonic have included a couple of cards to go in, one's a silver grey card so that looks OK. The more artistic (colourblind?) of you can go to the Panasonic website to dowload and print other pictures that can be used. Navigation is very user friendly, you rarely have to resort to the manual to work thing out. The speaker and the mic are of good quality, giving clear sound. To sum up if you want something a little different from the run-of-the-mill Nokia's you should seriously consider this phone.

  • o2 sim cards are 10 off the o2 website and you get 300free txts a month for that!

  • wheres the chepest place to get an O2 sim card? ive seen it for 20 but that means payin 200 for a fone that is supposed to be 150 for payg.

  • It's out in Argos on Vodafone PAYG today, for 149.99. Still no sign on O2 though - I emailed them earlier this week but they (eventually) said they didn't have a date.

  • I have a gd67... However I cant connect upto panasonicbox.com or any other site for that matter. I get circuit is down. Start data call? message , I'm on Vodafone can anyone please help!

  • Yup, it's up to the operators how they sell it.

  • Regards the PAYG - that's up to the operators, isn't it? *Someone* has to pay for all this stuff...

  • All you need to do is buy this phone sim free (180 carphonewarehouse) and then you can use it on pay as you go as long as you buy a sim card.

  • why is this phone out on everythin but payg??? panasonic will lose alot of payg customers if this carries on!

  • I've waited long enough, it's pathetic.

  • just heard from jungle and according to them the gd67 isnt available in uk on O2 pay as you go till 17th October! if that is true then it sucks badly! does anyone know otherwise or is it true??

  • Argos were the first to advertise it on payg, but I'm not sure if they still have it. Worth trying phones 4 u and carphone warehouse to. Bear in mind if your after GPRS then it's not available (I don't think) on payg.

  • Yeah, does anyone know?? - it was 15th August, then 15th September, and it's gone quiet??

  • please can someone tell me a website/shop that has the gd67 in stock on O2 payg! i ordered it 2 weeks ago off jungle and still no sign! im getin desperate!

  • hi does anyone know where I can buy GD67 live in sweden

  • Circuit Switched Homepage: Dialup access numbers: Home in the UK: (ISDN digital) 915000 Roaming: (ISDN Digital, but if problems, set to Analogue) +447712927927 Gateway (IP) address: 193.113.200.195 Security: Unsecure ( port 9201 ) Authtype: Normal User Name:o2wap Password: password GPRS WAP Homepage: Gateway (IP) address: 193.113.200.195 Security: Unsecure ( port 9201 ) APN: wap.o2.co.uk Authtype: Normal Username: o2wap Password: password Try for ringtones etc

  • I have had this phone for a week now and its ace its got nuf load speekers so u can play some nuf good tunes the color screen makes everything easy to see and the games are nuf good in color. its cheap but it has GPRS as well as wap plus and texting is quik and easy. Just one problem if u get it on o2 it doesnt come with all the wap settings all ready done so u have to do it all manualy, but thats only if u can find the wap setting info which i cant so can some one please tell me where i can get it from or can someone just type it up on this page because there are many people wanting this info as well as good internet pages where u can get new ringtones from.

  • I presume you mean the T68m? Get it upgraded free top the T68i. Ring the carphone warehouse. The GD87 SMS entry is fine.

  • price so high

  • I sure hope that it is faster than the t68, it takes about 5 minutes to write one single SMS on that phone, does anoyne know how fast it is?

  • So where can I buy a colour phone with a camera and with MMS for 20? It's all dependent on what different people want I guess.

  • Sounds like you want the GD87 - gives the you Cammera and MMS

  • if youre gonna buy a colorphone buy 1 with mms and an add on at least camera!colorphone and only that means that in a few months youll be back in technology!

  • Yep, bring on Infusio games, the best games I've ever played on a mobile!!!

  • If your Network suports it and you've got the right GD67, it suports In-Fusio downloadable games! Wallbreaker here we come!

  • Chill Chill Chill. There are delivery reports: Messagses->Parameters->Report. You'll have to contact your network operator to get your sim wap enabled and they should then provide you with all of the details you need to use WAP. I like the WAP feature here, it gives you an 'internet' feel when browsing. Why does so many people care about PAYG? Get on a contract cheap skates!! ;-)

  • I just got one today... not impressed though. Graphics are terrible, i mean really poor and its slow. Texting is a nightmare and the new menu with the joystick is just awful. No delivery reports either and no snooze... CRAP.

  • Does anyone actually know when this phone will be out on PAYG 02??

  • Try www.panasonicbox.com

  • can anyone tell me if there are any websites that have backgrounds for the gd67 and if the phone has a melody composer??

  • I don't think it's bulky or ugly, quite the contrary. It DOES have GPRS, as well. My main problem is - WHEN THE HELL IS IT OUT ON PAYG?

  • Had a look at one of these phones and although they are a nice idea i don't think panasonic have got it quite right. Colour screen, but only 256 colours. Aimed at those people who want a phone with a colour screen but who do not want any new applications (Java/MMS/GPRS). Bulky and lets face it, ugly. The joypad works well but i'm sure i've seen a similar one somewhere before?

  • Haw do i get the wap and gprs to work??? I am on o2

  • This phone WILL support full colour WAP pages - check out esato and all the others for T68 backdrops - and it will also support animated screesavers, BUT some T68i ones MAY be too big.

  • you can get it on o2 pay as you go through littlewoods catalogue 150.00 product code px1269 spread it over 38 weeks

  • So has anyone actually got hold of one of these phones yet or what? Are they any good? I'm thinking of getting one but want some opinions first! :)

  • Where are the pissing pictures

  • Hi im having the same problem haw do u start using wap. i think we have to phone some one up to enable the phones sim? If anyone knaws wot to do please help me!

  • how do you enable the wap + where do i get ringtones+ animations and stuff cant find anywhere please help someone!! this cool phone will go to waste with your help

  • i just received an email from jungle.com saying that they will have O2 gd67's on pay as you go by friday at the latest. at last there is hope!

  • Does any one know when carphone warehouse are getting this phone on O2 pay as you go? the said september. I hope somewhere gets it soon!

  • wot the hell is goin on with this fone and pay as you go!?!? first it was 15th august, then it was 15th september and now both of those dates have passed its all gone quiet. will they just release it please!! i for one am tired of waiting!

  • just got this phone today ! i've had a panasonic b4 and it was better than ANYTHING i've ever had. havnt made that many calls yet but all the features are brill and its really easy to use. LOVE it!!!!!

  • Just a warning. I have found out the GD67 does not support full colour wap browsing. Also can the gd67 store t68 images?

  • don't worry about the joystick this time the immediate setting to appear after pushing the joystick is the key guard and not wap therefore wap cant be easily accesed whilst keypad lock is off.

  • Hi I just got this phone on o2 contract just wonted to know haw do u register the phone so u can start using it. please help Dan!

  • How useful is the joysick feature? I've heard bad reports about the joystick on the GD75 model, saying it easily activates the wap service wasting your money!

  • the cheapist way is to go on contract with o2 because then you only spend 200 a year which includes the phone and then you stop the contract after the first year!

  • It was finished testing a month ago, and is ready for the market.

  • You better not be serious!

  • Why has the price gone up? i need it on O2 pay as you go as i already have an O2 sim card

  • guess wot all you cant buy this phone on o2 pay as you go for another 7 to 8 months! unless your willing to pay 199. and thats all by buying it sim free then buying the o2 sim for 20! sorry!!!

  • I e-mailed argos about it, and all I got back was a load of crap about reserving and stuff, there was no actual answers to my question, I hope it's out tomorrow, coz I was going to buy it tomorrow!

  • Anyone who's managed to get their hands on one - does it list missed, dialled and received calls? how many?

  • Its out in the shops k, see the two posts before yours. If you really want it hassle argos and/or o2 because its in the Vodafone shops.

  • Does any one know when this phone is going to be out in argos on O2 it was meant to be out ages ago and im waiting for it!!

  • I've just got an upgrade from Vodafone for one of these, for 20. First thoughts are that it's better than the T68 (the software is soooo much quicker), and it's a neat design. Very good effort which puts Panas0n1c right back up there with N0k1a.

  • www.vodafone.co.uk with a contract is giving these away FREE! There's two reasons I can think of.... they're trying to get rid of them! Or the GD67 is a neat, good value fone and will lure new customers! Seeing that GD67's are new and rare, me thinks it's the latter!!!

  • Just bought it and all you can say s WOW Is very very cool

  • I hope so, it's beena ages!

  • will it actually be in the argos stores on saturday??

  • Did you order off jungle.com, by any chance? 7 days doesnt always mean 7 days on that site.

  • i ordered my GD67 on 6th september and it sed i wuld have it within 7 days. How can that be if it isnt released till the 15th? will i get it early?

  • why r we all getting fucked about. A shop should knaw by naw when there getting it. Is this phone realy worth the wait? whots so special about it? And why shouldnt we just get it a voda phone? whats so good about O2? What so good about Panosonic

  • I emailed O2, and they said that the phone was currently undergoing testing as to network suitablity, and will be out during the month. But how can that be when it's already out on contract?

  • Virgin will be selling it for 139.99 within the next two weeks. p.s But they have crap tarifs!

  • its out todday 20 contract on 02 or 30 with vodaphone. 169.99 on pay as u go vodaphone. But no one knaws when its out on pay as u go o2. please put any other prices u have found.

  • ..............IIIII....................................(-0-0-)...................... ................>......................... ...............---........................

  • The link mag says its out mid september. so is that the 15th. If so thats only 8 days away!

  • Phones4U have them in stock today on Vodaphone and O2 but only on contract. The price is 20. Carphone Warehouse say it will probably be the end of the month and The Link don't know if they will get them at all!

  • They have never been in stock in Argos, they are expected in the warehouse this weekend.

  • it is listed on the argos site as 150 pounds on both 02 and vodafone however both are out of stock?

  • It was out today on Vodaphone for 169.99 in their stores, but I'm waitin for it on O2!

  • Any one knaw when its out yet???? lllll (-O-O-) > 0

  • Mid September thats only 10 days away!!!!!

  • Hai man! This is a good phone I looks good but the key's functioning is a ? Hope manufacurer will look into this. The price factor,is comfortable when compared to nokia phones but not a value for money bargain.

  • Why bother with T68 it looks like shit ! GD67 is much better looking or wait for the GD87 to arrive it's more expencive(about 450 euro's)but it seriously kicks butt, samsung and nokia eat your heart out. PANASONIC RULES !!

  • The phonebook have only 100 not 200 numbers..

  • the price:200 euro without v.a.t.it is half the price of t68.reliability and network reception are very good.gd87 will be the best phone in the world.i had gd93 for 1 year and it was excellent:i drop it in water,in cola, the buttons were sticky, but the phone is still working.don't try theese with a nokia!

  • Please, could anybody tell me what is the Battery size of mAh of this phone ?? Is it 850 mAh or 1000 mAh ?? Thank you Ehab Elgawady

  • How do you know there are 12 days to go??

  • I was gonna get this for my birthday ...And I've got to wait another 12 days?! - I can make one in that time?!

  • 12 days to go

  • Because ringtones are recordable you shouldnt worry about them

  • Dimensions are 45(w) x 109(h) x 20(d) mm

  • What are the dimensions?

  • Does anyone know when this phone will be avaliable to buy in car phone warehouse? the cataloge says september, when abouts?

  • The phone may be on sale in Argos next week, they just said it would be in the shops the following week after it arrives in the warehouse which is Sunday. So not sure if they mean during next week, or week commencing 15th September which seems more likely as they probably got the dates wrong and meant to say 15th September instead of 15th August. I am tempted by the T68i but it has no polythonic ringtones so this one seems better, just a bit worrying that ringtones may be hard to get for it.

  • will the panasonic be able to download screensavers like the t68!

  • When will it be for sale in Argos? the cataloge said 15th?

  • Argos say that they expect to get it in their warehouse next Sunday (8th September) and it will get to their stores the following week.

  • I have a 'source' who worked on it, and I know personally it was a day late for testing, and they said it's out any day soon.

  • cool

  • i think this phone is completely shit and i will never buy it!!!!! never ever ever ever!!!!

  • and the real time is 190 hours and not 150 as many sites write

  • on monday ,will be release in shops here in greece

  • As soon as you find a shop that gets these phones put it on this site or even if they just tell you a relese date. Were all waiting for it.

  • i checked today in argos (the 28th) and it still hasnt been released, any info anybody?carphone warehouse claim its available in september, however as an orange user i shall consider the fisio 820 as i doubt the gd67 is going to be able to be unlocked anytime soon!and theres no bluetooth!and only 200 phonebook entries!

  • Lots of features at a reasonable price...and has got a color LCD too...+ downloadable games...WOW PHONE

  • Nokia start crying out, losser! nothing came from Nokia can compare to this piece.

  • What are the games like!

  • hurry up bringing it out!!!!!!!

  • The specifications aren't always right, every Panasonic phone has a list with missed calls! This phone will rock!

  • The specs says that it doesn't record missed calls, is this true?

  • Hi, This phone should be out in shops mid September. Maybe earlier in some places. I have to say, my mate got one of these as he works for them. Its a smart phone and cost alot less than the other phones even Pay as you go ones. Colour display and features are pretty cool.

  • Hi I live in England/ west yorkshire and in the argos catolog it says the GD67 was out on the 15th but its the 20 now and it not out when will it realy be out????

  • is it already available in europe???

  • This phone will rule!! When is it out? Anddo U know if there a photo album like in the t68??

  • This panasonic deserve the turner prize for creating such a masterpiece!

  • There is no difference in the software for O2 and Voda, only the operatory logo on the idle screen will be different

  • For UK fans, this phone will retail 150 on O2-pay as you go, while for Vodafone pay as you go, it will cost 180. Don't know about monthly yet.

  • Can you plz teel me the diffens on Vodafone Panasonic GD67 and O2 Panasonic GD67.??

  • Check out it has been updated today, it's a completely new site now!

  • go at "www.panasonicmobile.com" for details.

  • I've seen this on sale in (UK) Argos for 179 quid without a contract. For a colour handset with all the features it's got, I'd say that's pretty impressive.

  • Can I ask, how much is the Panasonic GD67?

  • can anybody knows if the 150 h battery is enough for this nice phone

  • This phone is cool but can it send & receive picture e-mails like some of its competitors?

  • does anybody knows if panasonic GD67 is already available for people to buy ,in Europe(calling from Greece and greedings) thank you in advance

  • This phone is available on pay as you go on vodafone for 200.!! in catalogues (Choice)

  • can i know the panasonic GD 67 price buying online

  • please tell me more about panasonic GD 67 n can it connect with the PC

  • I just want to know when it will be available here in the Philippines? I'm very excited to have one.

  • At last a colour fone with good reception and clear speech quality. Nice screen too.

  • I've just seen one of these - and it rocks. It's about a million miles better than anything else I've seen from Panasonic. The colour screen's pretty hot, and it feels really robust and solid. I like the cute picture frame built into the back face, and the neat cover for the charger and data connector. The ring tones are a bit cheesy, but yu can record your own - which sound pretty good. I reckon it's a real rival for the T68i - maybe it's even better.

  • I have seen one of these puppies in the flesh and I have to say that I am very impressed. Ergonomically is it is very good and light too. The most impressive things are the colour screen, the polyphonic ring tones( non of your beeps and burps, proper sounding instruments!), animated pictures on the idle screen, only two key presses required to create a Text, a transparent back to put your own pictures behind and a couple of brain taxing games. All in all a usable and intuative phone that feels robust and sturdy. I think this phone is going to be big and I'll certainly be in the queue to buy one.

  • This phone I heard has the same display as the Ericsson T68. So, all the colour pictures available on several sites (e.g. www.esato.com) can be used on this phone too!

  • please anybody know when will be here in greece

  • where and how did you get it? so, what do u think of the phone?

  • I have a shiny new GD67, unofficial, of course, but latest software. Any Qs?

  • does anyone know when this phone will be released in Australia and how much in australian dollars(AUD) ?

  • If the price is really in the $150 market this phone should be a poor man's ferrari.

  • Andy - thats easy 4U2 say. vorapoj: It'll support Thai, with T9 too.

  • I might be biased, because I am a developer working on this phone, but it is fantastic and it will be very cheap to buy. trust me this will be one top notch piece of kit.

  • The 67 is due late June early July and provides support for at least 30 languages. I expect it to retail for well below 150 and may even be under 100.

  • do this phone got 16 polyphony ring tone instead of 3 polyphony ring tone....

  • You can change the backcolor of the phone with with some transparant stuff , hopefully they will also feature normal colors for the back ... otherwise a very nice looking phone ...

  • I think this fone looks great!! Excellent features too! A few gripes though..no Infra-red port???!! Watta shame. I wonder if it's got any data link cable as well...dunno if it's got an organiser function... Otherwise it's truly a well designed fone, can't wait to get my hands on one.

  • This fone has some really coool features, it's time to leave changeable facias behind, they're all done for. Buy it - out this summer.

  • ohhhhhh... myyyyyyy.... GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! [droollls] all panasonic phones put nokia to shame... i think panasonics products are much better than sony. this phone will be BIG!
