Yes that's possible. You can even install wm 6.1 (and I think even 6.5). Try this link: I installed wm 6.1 in my s100 with that guide. Good luck!

xbackup is mostusefull app on your s100. it back up your settings, so you dont have to make all setings whenever you take out your battery or hard reset device..... its easy to use yust store backup on your sd card and backup everything from it when needed

Just register to forum.xda-developers.com and then follow this link: I myself reflashed the ROM of a German language based Qtek S100 to English and am quite happy with the result. The procedure is exactly the same of you start with a French ROM and the steps are quite easy to follow.

hy all....i have a small problem i know that qutek s100 with wm 2003 nows only exe.(this meand that you can instal staff on your pda from you pc) but what about other program that are not exe. there are a lot of programs out there that don't need to be instaled from the pc and you can install them from you pda but i don't know witch. for the simbyan platform are .jar and .sis the last one i'm not sure so if you can help me and other that have the same problem by telling what other programs besides .exe (EX: SkyForce.exe, Darklaga.exe...) we can install........many tanks for other problems email me......cheers

Few things about Qtek S100 - works fine with SanDisk Ultra II 2 GB SD memory card, - works fine with Bluetooth GPS GSpace RS238 with SirfStar III onboard, - BT microsoft software is very poor so there are difficulties with ActiveSync via B, - hangs up from time to time but not more often then PC and soft reset does the job done well. Hi I just bought one of these and have 2 problems: 1. I'm on O2 (UK) Pay as you Go. But I can not get the damn thing to send MMS (picture messaging). Even after entering the settings provided by O2 (yes, even though they do not support this phone). 2. I've managed to get IE to go online with GPRS, but for the life of me, I can't get it to disconnect after. Any hints? Many thanks

At the Swedish website www.qtek.se they say that the S100 supports up to 4GB SD-cards. They recommend single layer type cards such as Sandisk, I use a Sandisk Ultra II 256M and a Kingston 512M without any problem. I've had my S100 for over 14 months and I am still content using it, which in my case isn't that common when talking tech gadgets ;) OK, it hangs once in a while (say once per 2 months or so), but with a reset it�s up and running in a minute (or two due to a large contacts file)

Qtek 100 is about the best phone I have used, but I have a little challenge. Each time I want to download opera (browser) it tells me the file is too big and that i have limited size, meanwhile, I have about 863.39 mb free. How can I channel the download destination to my storage card?

Help Please. I have set a specific music tone & photo to a number of individual in my Contact list using the Photo Contacts option. when I preview the setting of an individual it seems to be working. However, when the same individual phone me it does not (I mean the music tone I selected does not play & the photo assigned does not come up). Any ideas? THX

Yes, this is not just the case with Word application even with all like Media Player and all other programes work the same way, even if you close you'll find them in Start>Settings>System>Memory>Running programs. I think this is a very bad kind of programming coz if you want to delete any file then i-mate/Qtek/XDA/MDA/SPV still consider it running and you have to Stop it in Running programs :-( then you can get rid of it...

Does your S100 close the programs you run? Because at my S100 for ex. when I run Pocket word and then close it and when I go to Start>Settings>System>Memory>Running programs, Pocket Word is sjill running. I hope you understood.Please reply.

Handsfree speakerphone gives a lot of echo to the other party, unlike Nokia phones, which has supurb sound. Synchronization with Outlook is great, unlike the Nokia Sync software.
