Samsung C240 - User Reviews

  • WHY IS THE MULTILINGUAL PHONE DISCONTINUED? SHAME THAT HINDIANS ARE ONLY SERVED! This is one of the best phones produced by Samsung for India....The Multilingual SMS feature allowing SMS in Tamil and other languages is great. Unfortunately Samsung no longer sells this and instead sells Hindi only phone.. Is this another political statement by an MNC to favour only Hindi people. A country like India needs more phones like these. SHAME ON SAMSUNG FOR SHOWING HINDI FAVOURITISM.

  • the most basic thing of calendar is not there. samsung when u will come to our expectations.

  • Picture of what new C240 looks like:

  • And please change the picture of this phone. Because actually it is little bit different in design now.

  • SAMSUNG C240 looks very good designwise & should be better costwise. Even featurewise also very nice ( FM + SPEAKERPHONE ). It will give tough takkar to C168 of Moto because its having SPEAKERPHONE in addition to the FM thats plus point.I M eagerly waiting for its lounch. Pls. lounch it before 2007. Thanks . Rajesh M. Thakur

  • C240 has been redesigned. Final version does not look like the picture.

  • I am eagerly waiting to see the phone. Can u tell me when it will be launched? Beacuse I am looking for a low cost phone. If the launching period is in 2007 then sorry to C240.

  • How is the battery life? And what is the talk time and stand by time?

  • pls launchas soon as posebile.

  • this phone is ok it should come at price band of rs.2400-2600 for indian market to buy this phone compare to c168moto this is slightly not good, so u should tackle with pricing.

  • awaited.

  • Design is good and hope the price for indian market should be around Rs. 2400 to Rs. 2700 other wise its costly affair

  • HERE WE GO AGAIN: I like the phone alot but: -WHY IT HAS COLOR SCREAN? -WHY NO BLUETOOTH? Everything else is Perfect in this phone ( normal design, no megapixel shi...t, or other extra bull..it)

  • Hi There. Samsung is not copy the phones, they make the best idea.! Samsung Lover.

  • samsung is finally trying to enter the mid to low end phone market. but they still cost a lot compared to nokia, sony ericsson and motorola. hope this one would do better.

  • this is probably a copy of the 6070 still then nokia 6070 looks better. samsung lately its copying everything. thin phones, RIM, and now budget phones. designs, functionality what samsung ever going to release something new develop by themself to the market?

  • Its ok for coming out with low end phone. There's always market for those who want a simple call and receive function only. But, if the battery life is still 3+Hours, then it really sucks. SAMSUNG should really improve their cell life. SE is doing it great.(I'm neither SE supporter!)

  • The crucial info missing here is the battery capability. Any clues on this?

  • The design is also reminiscent of Siemens M75. Do your homework Samsung. Or are you just copying now?

  • There are much better looking entry-level phones to be had

  • Samsung is doing the right thing.Grow up ok?Not everyone needs features like Bluetooth or camera or MP3 player etc.,but they do need a good working phone.Dont blame Samsung. Its you people who dont understand anything.

  • This phone design/colour is tacky and the features are lacking. There isn't even a camera! I am very disappointed, samsung's innovations are seemingly regressing.
