Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (USA) - User Reviews

  • why in this page it says something diferents from my mobil, here says 3G 900MHz and my mobil N910T do not have this one, someone explain me please.

  • let me tell u that it is a good device and the issue that u have with the battery is just calibration ( well... for me that process really works for me )

  • it is a good device but the issue is when the battery is about 15% the device just turn off

  • Buy an original battery.

  • I have a note 4 and I have to say I love love my phone the only thing I have to complain about It is how I'm now on my 2nd battery which is also doing the same as the firest one was.... it could have 80 or so % and it would just shut off and wouldn't and won't power on unless I remove the battery plug it in than install the battery. It the phone more than the battery get so hot I have a hard time touching it . Can anyone please help me fix this problem please ty in advance mz.broussard

  • Note10 seems a good pickup with no more annoying edge to edge crap. Only downer is the non easy replaceable batteries as for me i dont need that water resistant gimmick.

  • I have had a note4 for 4 years and it is now starting to play up so I am now in the process of buying a new phone it's another note4. I think that says it all.

  • Death programmed, there comes a time when everyone dies by mistake of eMMC.

  • this is from my own experience. once i use note (especially samsung note), i dont wanna use any other phone. so for me, note is the best.

  • Which one the better between this mobile with Samsung galaxy j5 Prime?

  • install Samsung Keys to your pc and in the phone connect it before upgrade it make a full backup or you get lost everything then you can upgrade it

  • good

  • sar on samsung --0,3 why 0,88???

  • Hello Guys, Greetings from Cambodia. I need help please. My beloved AT&T Galaxy Note 4 faced a small drop recently but unfortunately it caused to break the LCD. I see some online sellers here put the LCD on sale with a good price but their model is different from mine, they have the international Variant (N910C). My question is if that LCD is compatible with my AT&T one? Thanks for your reply.

  • everything

  • Hi, has someone tell me why my sam sung note 4 cannot use 4G lte only can use 3g hspa when I switched it to 4G only the connection will auto stop... until now I only use 3g but my N910P always update cause my phone don't know what problem afterms update the sim lock again, go to ask service centre l, they cannot repair, they says not sim lock problem??????????

  • I bought my Note 4 at T-Mobile in November 2014. In 2016 I replaced the failing battery with an Anker replacement which has been excellent. I have had no significant problems with the phone as of September 2017. If I wanted to be picky, I'd mention that Google Maps is very confused for the first several minutes of trying to navigate (it's not something blocking the signal). Once it stops giving crazy, contradictory directions it works fine. Phone, texting, calendar and contact functions all work fine. No phone reception problems in metropolitan areas. So will I get another Note? Nope, it's just too big and I never use the stylus. I'll get something a bit shorter, hopefully also with a microSD card.

  • I've found out why I had small glitches with soft keys not registering. This ***ppy one month old device was DELAMINATING from day one. With delamination I mean the screen, with the attached display is SEPARATING from the main structure assembly where all the top sensors, the speaker, the bottom capacitive softkey sensors are housed. Since it's effectively out of warranty (despite being 1 month old) I had to take care myself and used clear contact glue to stick the display back together. Delamination was becoming so bad that dust was accumulating inside the front sensors and front camera hole, and the display with cutouts for capacitive keys light was HOVERING the area 1 ore more millimeters raised from flat.... effectively requiring a double action to register the tap because I had first to depress the screen down enough, closer to the area where the capacitive sensor would sense enough to register my touch. Bad.... I am disappointed.

  • Major drawback drawn from experience. This 'phone is an OVEN. CPU runs hotter than any phone I've had. At idle writing this post 50°C with 25°C ambient. Can reach 85°C perhaps beyond. At 65 during normal Goog Maps use it's uncomfortable keeping the finger on the screen, it's ridiculous you risk a burn. This being Snapdragon 805 shouldn't even be touched by the 810 temperature problem, I am really building up a not so good image of Qualcomm. I know it's decently fast and capable but it's capable because of BRUTE FORCE not because of its efficiency. It's like running my old Exynos on nitrous oxide. Also Samsung could have used a heat spreder shield/sink because there's definitely a heat spot only in the upper part of the screen where the chipset lies, with the bottom part remaining quite cool. For this and scalded fingers well let me say I could be happier. Even though I appreciate the good speed, decent responsiveness and feature pack.

  • I had the camera instant shut-down with flash on my SGN3n N7505. If that happens try reset entering download mode pressing VOL- wth PWR button and HOME button. Beware that some broken pictures recorded while the shot was finalizing may hamper or completely stall the Gallery app performance, you might want to delete them before considering the device re-set. About the ghosting: I suspect that'll be more panel or driver chip related, I may suggest you try a different firmware version or possibly a custom firmware.

  • I have two problems.. It has a ghost screen issue and i can not fix.. And the second one is when i am using camera with flash everytime it is going to shut down and i have to remove battery and restart it... Every time Plzz help me to resolve this... How can i fix it

  • I think not. Not going to get worse over time. I use OLED since 2011 and I've had and tested many and twins among the many. What I can say is that there's no one OLED like another. Some have a more pleasant rendition to the eye, more gamma.... some may be a bit inferior. This hasn't really become an issue with me.

  • thanks a lot. Iwas noticing on white backgrouds i see like vanilla color squart and on blue backgounds like ghosting screen. is this problem to get bigger?

  • My N4 doesn't show any pink cast on the display, just a shade of green when tilted outside optimal viewing angles, which I think it's characteristic of this powerful UHD display. Perhaps not relevant to you in the ROM I use (Dr. Ketan's, to the best of my understanding the only unofficial UPGRADE path available for SM-N910T) there's an option under Display to better profile che colour output of the screen. The options are: Adaptive display, AMOLED cinema, AMOLED photo, basic.

  • Hello guys, i had a s6 and currently have note 4 . I ve notices some pink color on the dispaly but not spot . Is any problem with screen or any settings to fix it? thanks

  • I'm sorry for the triple entry one was out of my control, another was a reload on a very weak mobile connection. I am here just to report everything is OK with my device apart from a small issue I won't mention since it's very specific one. Tbh I don't get the point of constant updates (well... kind of)... got my SGN3n on 2014 firmware... running strong.... thrown probably one hundred of apps at it, just finely screened permissions and runs very nicely indeed. Now on this SM-N910T I've uppped it with SGS7 firmware (with Edge and S-Pen features) from Dr. Ketan and runs very sweet. I am not concerned about system updates. Despite some quirks I think it's much better option than the stock firmware from T-Mobile. Also... this brand new device is currently selling on eBay for AUD 308 or 183.93 GBP current rates from a seller in HK (from which I've bought mine) which makes it a no-brainer choice over recent underdogs from Samsung like C and A series devices. If you are having a draw for this device GET it NOW... I am even thinking of stockpiling ! This is a FLAGSHIP high end device.... meaning 16mpix 16:9 shooter with much crisper images than all the other Galaxies currently on sales, outstanding 4k video recording, a barometer... HR and blood oxygen sensor, the S-Pen, QHD display... I think they should sell A series top end ones for 100 bucks to keep an acceptable price fork with this one.

  • go to a cell repair shop, they will fix it for you

  • Those updates are security and stability fixes. You can go ahead and ignore them but some of us are quite thankful for the attention Samsung is still giving this device. If there are apps you don't like, disable them, or even delete them if you have root access. I'm just glad that my 31 month old device has a stock kernel that is only 3 months old.

  • Ford dog's sake don't get this phone in the N910T T-Mobile variant.... it's an AWFUL experience.... I am terrified by it. Everything listens to you, updates are quite "enforced" into this device. My first 4 hours experience is a constant update downloads (probably some gig), and reboots, and app-optimizations which already have been optimized 5 times being this the 6th update. They have NO CONCEPT of cumulative update, or just flash the latest version.... everything is delivered as an update which already needs update, I wonder when this ordeal will eventually and hopefully end... I hope I can unlock it, root it, costom rom it, use recovery mode.

  • Hi, I used to love my Galaxy Note4...but after the battery started acting up after 2 years...even after I got a new battery...I suspected more was going on with the software due to the note 7 problems. I got tired of the phone shutting down after I took 4 photos...no matter how much the battery was charged even at 100%. Sorry, but I decided to switch back to the iphone. Too bad because I did like some of the features. All the apps did tranfser to the Iphone 7 plus I got. Also, I was dissapointed with the selfies on the Note4. The camera was not that good in the front for that at 3.7MP vs 7MP for the Iphone 7 plus. I hope Samsung will do better in the future....

  • The note 4 was last real one .

  • my phone is loosing charge veeeery quick, I have the T-Mobile version, I used the fast charging and the standard charging as well, and it drops charge very fast meanwhile I use the phone I can see the % score going down one by one in less than 3 hours of using it, the brightness is set to low and also when the phone reach the 17% it turns off and not able to turning it on until I can charge it again, can some one help me , mine is running marshmellow update

  • Yes you can after rooting your phone, you can download a simple app and delete the factory bloatware. There are several apps in the google store for deleting bloatware. I don't recommend this however, Most of these apps are relatively small, and you can seriously compromise your system's integrity. Also it can make it difficult to receive upgrades. So basically unless they really annoy you, it's just not worth it. Get a bigger SD card and don't fret about the 300 MBs.

  • apn config,

  • Im not here to make an opinion or comment on the phone as the phone is just absolute greatness. I need some serious help with its software. Im using SM-N910A the AT&T version of the Galaxy Note 4. The problem is im not using the phone on AT&T instead im using it on a local network here in Pakistan. The AT&T software gives alot of apps that i cant use or dont need to use plus the major problem i have is that i cant activate call waiting. The solution im looking for is to flash the phone and install a fresh new software being the default or international version of the samsung Android software or if anyone has a different or simple solution to activate the call waiting im all ears. Would appreciate if someone with experience in such problems would provide me with a solution along with step by step guide to complete the process because im not an IT graduate and i can be considered a newbie in this area device flashing. Regards [email protected]

  • Anyone have trouble with your SD card not functioning correctly.. I reinstall it all the time and have even tried different cards. It keeps telling that it had been removed.????

  • hi, i have the U.S Cellular model. will it work outside US. in more networks it only shows LTE/CDMA. and there is no APN setting. please help

  • Are you guys sure this works on GSM? I just bought one to use it on GSM network and installed cyanogenmod. I can not choose gsm from the PRL list. When I choose it, It changes to CDMA. This is supposed to be a global phone but it not!!!!

  • I'm not sure why the performance scores listed are so far apart, unless that was simply a typo. The performance does differ between the Exynos and Snapdragon models, but only slightly. In fact, if you read more online, you'll see that everyone actually gives the Snapdragon version the performance advantage. I've had my Snapdragon powered Note 4 since launch and absolutely love it. I had the Note 2, still have the Note 3,and in my opinion the Note 4 is a major upgrade over both.

  • Why is it rated only 5.2 performance while other note 4 are rated 8.5 ?

  • Hi I like and want this phone how much is it? Do you have it in other colors and can I use it for boost mobile because I do see it cdma

  • The model CDMA.

  • What model is the phone factory unlocked??

  • CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global System for Mobiles) are shorthand for the two major radio systems used in cell phones

  • is this in uae or not and i dont no what is the meaning of CDMA and whe i saw specification of note 4 and note 4 CDMA it says that CDMA have more pixel and its 518 and in note 4 its 515 what is the difference between them

  • In type of network that you can acess. duos is: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 2 and CDMA is: GSM 800 / 1900

  • What is the difference between the CDMA model and the Duos model?

  • In Iran we have it for more than a week but with a expensive price of USD 850.00

  • Which one of those models is the best ?

  • Interesting phone. Compatible with alot of providers

  • In india we are witeing.

  • Africa we are waiting!
