  • You can only register to try out beta android 10 . Official update not out yet.

  • My s10 update one ui 2 not coming only security updates, please help me what should I do ,I want the android 10. Please!!

  • Did you try using a different charger? It's probably due to a fault within the charger.

  • S 10 TOP

  • S10 100%. Better screen, cameras, charging, has headphone jack, no ugly notch etc, and higher-end storage and ram.

  • S10 or Iphone Xr?

  • Good to hear you got it and with November patch. Mine was 1st october patch update. But I also got an update at the start of october. So I thought it was for November but wasn't.

  • When I charge my phone the battery starts to drain why ? All the samsung phones I have owned never had a problem until know

  • Today in India I got the new update having improved fingerprint readability and surprisingly November security patch

  • Today here in India I got the update with fingerprint improvement and surprisingly November security patch also

  • What isn't working in your camera? More info plz.

  • Its 1st October patch update.

  • Have you seen the change in notification panel? Media and device under the brightness bar.

  • The Samsung S10 camera setting not functioning why??

  • yes, i did get the update. has added slow mo video in front camera. other than that no much changes. fingerprint sensor is said to have been improved but no much changes according to me. thanks

  • What is firmware version no and security patch is October or November

  • Thanks for reply. Glad your enjoying the beta. I've many paid themes and after pie update it was a nightmare. Like you said theme didn't cover contacts calendar etc. Had to wait for them to be updated and some other of my paid themes were rendered useless. Now tthe rest are all updated . I'm not fond of black themes. So when official android 10 comes out I'm gona have same problem all over again. Il hold off as much as I can for android 10.

  • You will be able to access your paid samsung themes but there is one small bug , the contacts app remains unthemed . Other than that no problems. I am loving the dark mode by the way.

  • Yeah. But what about paid themes? In pie update it was a nightmare getting them updated for to work on pie and some became useless.

  • i think is corning gorilla glass 5 on the back and corning gorilla glass 6 at the front

  • I am on to beta 10 on my S10 & honestly there are very few bugs & none of those are fatal to your device. I am loving this beta.

  • in here the price is arrd $500 the most funny thing is, in indonesia the price for s10 128gb is ard $856 its still acceptable if 10-20%diff.. but this is almost 70% more expensive wtf

  • Just go to sammobile.com & you will find the topic where the changes are well described.

  • I didn't try it due to the same reason you mentioned. I'll just wait for the final firmware.

  • I think it's gorilla glass 5 or 6

  • Hi cupcakes. Just go into Samsung members and go to notices. There you will see beta 10 program. . Press it and it will show you where to register. Just click on the square box pic and then you will get registered. Then wait for notification from Samsung members to try it.

  • got a notice in Samsung members to take part in android 10 beta program. . But decided not to. Worried my apps and paid themes wont work properly. Anyone tried it? If so post comment on it about apps and themes working ok on it.

  • Get the iPhone 11 if you want water resistance up to 2m for 30 minutes (compared to up to 1.5m for 30 minutes) If not then Galaxy S10

  • Can you post comment on what changes there is plz.

  • Hello. what type of the glass samsung used for back cameras glass ?

  • Theres a massive difference . Newer firmware. Newer camera and better performance. The puuch hole after a while you don't notice it. All new Samsung phones will come with it.. But you will ge6 used to it.

  • Thanks, but i' m from Romania and in aplication doesn't exist this option.

  • after registering and downloading the OTA update. it is giving an error while installing the update @ 28% on an S10

  • If you already have a Samsung Account then simply open Samsung Members App & you will easily get through the Beta Registration. Then just open Settings>>Software Update & you should be able to get the Beta.

  • There you go. Just a simple web search

  • How can register for beta android 10 ?

  • Received Android 10 beta with 2.0 ui on my S10 today , exploring what's new.

  • Lol i wrote a long comment, but somehow it was submitted accidentally without applying finishing touches. It was saved to Data Base i guess. Will appear sometime later.

  • Yes it's really the personal likes and preference. Whether if it's easy or difficult to move from ios to Android will depend on how deep you've been rooted within the Apple ecosystem. For example, to get the maximum out of Apple products like Apple watch, you need an iPhone. Also the brand loyalty matter i guess...like if your first phone was an Apple device and you liked it, you'd prefer Apple over Android. Earlier, ios used to be much smoother than Android (specifically Samsung's Touch Wiz). But here in 2019, with android one and the with the launch Google's pixel devices, Android OS has improved a lot. Smoother animations, the versatility it brings to the table, customization options, even the hardware range you can choose from, makes the Android a better option in my opinion. IOS is great. It has it's pros and cons as anything in this world. In my case, i had an iphone 7 before this (i still use it). And a S7 edge before that xD. So i originally switched from Android to iOS, and the transition was really easy. Google services are available in both OSs and seamlessly sync between the duo. Then switching from Apple to Android again, it's not anywhere near to being difficult as some youtubers suggest. Cloud services make sure you don't lose your progress in games or apps. Honestly, switching from Android to ios is way more difficult. If you have offline music tracks, you need to go through iTunes from a computer to transfer them to your phone You can't download directly to your phone unless you're using some paid music service. Can't download torrents. And...you're stuck in the App drawer for your life LOL. And the reason I'm suggesting Androids over iPhones when people ask in these comment sections is: Price: if you compare iphone 11 to S10 for example, they're very similarly priced outside United States. (Where i live, iPhone 11 is priced higher than S10) Hardware: Iphone 11 has a low res display compared to android counterparts. Some even offer high refresh rate displays at the same price range. (The same reason you bought the S10 over note 10 right?) Hope you found your answer somehow from the above explanation and sorry for my late reply. Anyways, switching between the operating systems isn't that difficult if you've saved your data to particular services like Google account/twitter/facebook. Most apps allow users to login with google account(which is available in both OSs) or some kind of a social media app which saves the app data to the relevant account. And finally, it's your personal preference. You're living your life, you must enjoy whichever you like without caring too much about others opinions. Your life your choices, right :)

  • Hey Scorpio. How did are you find changing from the S8 to the S10. Do you notice any big differences or is it slight differences? This is just a personal thing but I really dont like the punch hole in the top right hand corner. Does that have a big impact on the experience would you say. E.g Do you find that distracting?

  • recieved android 10 beta in my samsung s10 now.........................

  • Try facial recognition. It works perfectly on my s10.

  • How is that possible? Face regonation not face. If someone has a photo of you if you show it, it unlocks your phone. Check it on youtube.

  • fingerprint reader still not working...longterm experience is i have to try multiple times each time.

  • Just a reminder, anyone can unlock your phone via under display fingerprint scanner as feature...

  • Hi Cupcakes just out of interest what made you change from iPhone to Samsung and was it a difficult transition? My wife has an iphone11 but I much prefer my s10. Perhaps it is just mind over matter.

  • I want

  • Logically if you ask in the Samsung section you will be told s10 and if you ask in the Apple section you will be told iphone11. Try them both and see which one you prefer. I have an s10 and my wife has an iph11. Both good and we each like our own phone.

  • For me, s10 seems the better option. I have an iPhone 7 too, which i really like, but for the amount you're paying, S10 gives you the better value in my opinion.

  • Thank you .. will try ...

  • Yes, but the sound isn't in the notifi list ... it's an alert sound ... thank you for replying.

  • Should I get the s10 or the iPhone 11

  • Unlocking my s10, starting direct secure folder.. annoying... 4g also very slow every where..... no other apps except Banking,fb,waps,insta.. called sam cc, they are asking for reset to factory settings... just 2 mnths old....

  • You can download an app called "Nice Catch" (comes as a part of official Good Lock bundle) from galaxy store. It can monitor the followings: 1) Vibration history 2)Ringermode history 3)Callmode history 4)Toast history 5)Detect commercials 6)Screen wakeup history Try to use this app and figure out what is causing the buzz. Or Optimize now option in the device care, then clear recent app cards and restart the phone to see anything changes.

  • Do you mean like your phone's notification sound going off without leaving a clue every 3 minute?

  • I have a problem since yesterday with my S10 ... Got alert going off every 3 minutes ... It's not “Notification reminder,” ... It stops when I turn on wifi ... but if I goes off when I go out ... turn off wifi, and 4G off ... starts again... so now I've turned off Location .. GPS .. to see if its that ... I've had the phone a month .. no problem ... any ideas ...

  • "No Name" :-)

  • Oh for your second query, Yes it can, if the other phone has wireless charging built in. But well, it's really slow. It'll come handy when you own wireless earbuds or a smart watch which can be charged wirelessly.

  • Yes on OLED screens, burn in CAN occur. But in most cases, the user is the one to blame. I've used OLEDs since 2016 and yet to encounter any burn in. You can completely avoid such issues if yoh follow a few basic steps. 1) Always keep adaptive brightness turned on. 2) Don’t use the phone at high brightness levels for a long time when using apps with still (stationary/non moving/fixed background elements). For example: let’s take instagram. If you keep using it at maximum brightness for a long time, even though you scroll the home feed, instagram logo sits on the screen at a single spot for the whole duration of the app. It might cause some burn in. 3) it's better to keep the screen timeout value to a minimum as possible. At the same time, technology keeps getting better by the day. So burn is nothing to really worry about.

  • I think screen burn in is now a thing of the past. It used to happen on occasion many years ago but not any longer with modern screens.

  • Hi Tango I remember you from the s4 or s6 if I am correct. Good to hear you again.

  • I don't know if you can charge iphones.

  • Thanks Maggi.

  • Hey There!, Congratulations on getting This Smartphone!!.I hope You're Enjoying it...Btw You may haven't remembered Me!

  • Don't know about the "Screen Burn In". But Yeah, You can charge other Smartphones which can be charged wirelessly, through Samsung Galaxy S10.

  • I heard that on OLED screen, screen burning can occur. Is that true? Also, can the s10 wirelesssly charge other devices, for egzample, iphones?

  • Hi scorpio. glad you got the s10. Its a good phone:)

  • Depending on the user, 5 - 7 hours should be possible from a full battery. I dont have any demanding games on my s10, so I'm guessing about 3.5 - 4 hours or SOT when playing demanding titles like pubg in default settings. ( i may be wrong )

  • Great thanks.

  • i dont know if you already figured it out or if your even gonna see this but you can change the look of the display under setting and somewhere in display

  • whats the average screen on time you get and also if possible to answer how much time of battery with demanding games such as pubg mobile or minecraft

  • You can.set diff edge lighting colours for sms, email etc. When you get s text mgs it with come up the colour edge lighting that you picked. Thats whats good about edge lighting.

  • Thank you Bro, really appreciate your help.

  • Settings > Display > Full Screen Apps Or Search for 'Hide front camera' in finder search or within settings. It's still available after September update

  • The option of 'Hide Front Camera' is no longer seen in Settings >Display after the all important September OTA update. Am I right guys, please check.

  • I love the S series specially s10 perfect grip

  • Update. I have just received an SMS and the edge lighting started flashing. Great app appears to work beautifully.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I've downloaded it and will see how it works.

  • That's a sweet app without advertising or internet access requirements. Thanks for the mention.

  • I use free aodNotify, which turns on AODisplay when there is a notification. Not as vivid as a Led, but good enough for me to see if i got a call or message without turning on the screen. And little effect on battery.

  • Thanks again for all your input Cupcakes. Good advice as always.

  • Thanks Nimz. I bought the black one because I'm about to put a folding protective cover on the phone which will make the colour irrelevant anyway. I haven't tried the camera yet but the display is beautiful, even better than the s8. Also thanks for taking the time with your other advices.

  • May be this can help. Read the comments made by people at the bottom of the page.

  • how to fix amoled burn?

  • I guess it was using the official Good Lock bundle. There's an app called Edge Lighting + from Samsung and you can use it to program a ring to light up when a notification arrive. But it doesn't glow continuously for a long time like a notification LED. (Maximum duration is about 1.30 seconds i think) If you haven't downloaded Good Lock yet, you should, right now! It allows you so much customization (ex:- Lockscreen widget styles and placement, notification shade, status bar, recent app cards, clock faces, nevigation key styles) on your device. It's available officially in Galaxy Store. But as for this question, I think you may wanna try the app Nimz suggested.

  • Hi all and Scorpio, I managed to download Always On Edge app from playstore. It works perfectly fine and it works as needed. just youtube samsung galaxy s10 LED notification. its not at all difficult. now i just need to see battery usage and performance then will post a comment on review thereafter. thanx

  • Yes Nimz, no case can make the phone look good or at least just keep somewhat of the natual beauty. But still glass is glass and glass breaks. Learnt it the hard way by dropping a naked S7 edge. And by the way please let me know if you find any good looking cases online.

  • Guess I'm a lucky Asian haha. I got the update weeks ago

  • @scorpio, I did the similar move from my s8 to s10. Perfect transition. screen huger, cameras awesome, battery better. By the way, u can use the charger of s8 in charging the s10. it is perfectly ok. feel like using the s10 without a cover becoz i have prism white and have a back cover which is leather feel but it is black, so no part of prism white showing at all.. :( i miss my physical fingerprint sensor though :'(

  • Most awaited update received in India. Just going through with the new features. Exciting.

  • i recieved september security update today in my samsung s10 in india with all camera features of samsung note 10....i feel like samsung note 10 in my hand..cool camera ffeatures

  • Help please anyone. I recall reading here some time ago that the front camera hole can somehow be used to glow or light up as a notification device. If this is correct then is anyone able to please guide me on how to activate it.

  • I love this phone. Although the battery life of Exynos variant is inferior to the Snapdragon variant.

  • The first and only reason why I am not a Samsung hater anymore (although it is difficult for me to say that I am a Samsung lover) is the bloatware/3rd app/whatever can be disabled 100% or even uninstalled since the Samsung Experience UI. No disturbing adv. as I disable all Samsung app that I do not use at all, including Samsung member app that offer lot of promotions.

  • All bloatware can be uninstalled or disabled...so no problem. Love that phone. Size is perfect, hope S11 will not be bigger.

  • Thanks Maggi. So far extremely pleased.

  • Thanks Cupcakes. I must say that I thought my s8 was great but somehow the screen on the s10 manages to make the s8 look average. Very pleased.

  • Yep it is safe (According to many articles on the internet). The important parts of the charging mechanism is located inside your phone (in most modern phones, but not OnePlus - their dash charging mechanism requires the original one). So no matter which charger you use the phone will charge safely without problems like overcharging. As you’re using a rated OEM charger you won’t have any problems at all. (Even my S10 charger is still in the box, I’m using wireless charging since it’s very convenient and the S10 charging port is soldered onto the motherboard, So I don’t want to subject it to wear and tear as replacing it might be a bit tricky)

  • Bloatware?

  • Unfortunately, and as usual like other Samsung phones, this is also infested with bloatwares. Why Samsumg, why?

  • Congratts scorpio:). Glad you got s10. You will get the note 10+ camera features update.. I dont know anout the charger as i never had s8

  • Well I bit the bullet and updated my s8 to an s10. So far very nice and used Samsung Smart Switch to seamlessly transfer all data across. Am I safe in using my s8 charger as a spare in a different location for my s10?

  • Anyone has problems with the front camera with tempered glass being a bit blurry ?

  • You should try check manually in settings for update. Thats how i got it. Anyways hope yous get it soon.

  • Yesh. My build number ends with 3ASIE. I always have to check manually in settings-software update.

  • Probably the difference between s10 and s10+ Mine is the model S10 and was updated to the baseband version G973FXXU3ASIE

  • Also changed in update slightly is messages . It has gallery and camera beside mgs bar. Also calls&message continuity has been changed to call & text in any device.

  • It comes in 588.09mb.

  • By far, the best smartphone i have owned, i bought it in may 2019, and it's been a great experience so far, changed from iPhone X to this. Never looked back once.

  • I got that update yesrerday on my s10+ in uk. It was 588.09mb . Icluded new features AR doodle, live focos, live focos video, nitght, super steady, link to windows, dynamic lock screen, Dex for PC and improved performance - video editor. 1st september patch.

  • Touch sensitivity is ON but still the delay is there as compared to a physical fingerprint scanner. Nevertheless i m happy with my s10 and the performance overall. Camera are best in its class

  • That's great , unfortunately still not available in India. Hopefully should get it in couple of days.

  • It's available now. 1.2gb update with the same firmware versions as europe

  • Thanks, hopefully the Asian countries will be getting the same update as the European countries.

  • Asian servers aren't seeding it yet i guess. As far as i know, only European s10s are the one's who received the update with camera features.

  • In the display settings you can increase the touch sensitivity

  • Has anyone in India received the most anticipated september security update ? Some new camera features are also imbibed in this update.

  • S10 lineup has an ugliest camera layout ever made by Samsung. And similarly was things with layouts LG G5 and G6.

  • Nope it supports 15W. See, the charger output is 1.67A at 9V which is 15W.

  • S10 supports 12w wireless charging, not 15w. Fix the content.

  • It is water resistant just like the s7 edge, s8, s9, s10 all are waterproof. just see in specs in protection

  • sure

  • Hi all, i have changed recently from my s8 to S10. Leme summarise a few points: S10 full screen is awesome S10 triple cameras are great Face unlock is good but still not as good as iris scanner in s8 S10 has bestest sound output when listening to music as conpared to any phone i have used before becoz also the speaker on top produces the 3D effect while listening to music. S10 charging almost same or just a bit quicker than s8. Selfie camera better than s8. Gorgeous to hold is the s10 Fingerprint scanner using with glass protector is annoying on s10. I prefer s8 in this case. Overall im happy with my s10 and hoping that il not change till 2021 unless some newer nicer fold devices hit the market.

  • is this phone water resistant or not ??

  • any call waiting on in any phone go for *43# and to chek your phone senser n camera touch pls go for *#0*#

  • Excuse me is there any way I can contact u I need a favor please it’s important to me

  • The upcoming Samsung Galaxy s11 features must be ....... 90° full curved display 4k resolution Camera 108 mp with high power ful settings

  • I hate screen protectors. I peeled off the preinstalled one, and the touch feeling is much better, as is the fingerprint reader. I always keep my phone in a pouch, with no case.

  • Why not? I'm currently using a tempered glass(more plasticky though) adhered using UV glue.

  • No screen protectors...

  • Hello, the device is supposed to adapt to the user and give more battery life over time (with adaptive battery feature in Android P) I'm not entirely sure what causes an abnormal battery drain. There could be several reasons. A bug in the OS (sometimes after installing updates) Some app installed by the user or an update to a certain app might be causing it Or it can be something else. You can go to Settings > Device Care > Battery, and monitor things like the individual percentage used by an app, the time it ran on the background. I suggest you go there and see if an app behaves abnormally. If you find something like that, try 'force stopping' the app, clearing the app cache or data. Or sometimes a soft reset (a simple restart) can fix the minor problems. Did you try it? If yes and still didn't work, go to device care and manually optimize the device, the go to storage option and use the CLEAN NOW button to clear the cache files that may have been the reason for the battery drain. Then restart and see if the problem is solved. If it still persists, you may have to do a complete reset. But before that, please try on support pages to see if there are any other users experiencing the same issue. (Sometimes a monthly security patch may be able to cause an abnormal battery drain, in this case a reset will be just a waste of time and effort) Unless you're experiencing a huge difference between prior battery life and the one you're getting now, i don't recommend doing a complete reset.

  • Hi Cupcake I have only just finished replying to Maria on the same topic. Note 10+ is too large to fit comfortably in my pockets so it's either Note 10 or s10. The greatest downfall with the Note 10 is its downgraded display which would probably be more apparent on a larger screen so I think s10 may be the way to go. As I said to Maria I'm surprised at the lack of reliable rumours regarding the s11 so don't know whether its worth waiting for. By the way I am in Melbourne Australia so we get the Exynos version but nothing wrong with that.

  • Hi Maria I think that I am reaching the same conclusion. Note 10+ is just too big to fit comfortably in my pocket so it looks like being s10. I have to say that I'm surprised at the lack of any leaks on the forthcoming s11 so I have no idea whether it will be worth waiting for. Have you heard any reliable rumours?

  • Hello @scorpio and @cupcakes I like the last paragraph and sentence of @cupcakes. And @scorpio, time flies so fast, if you are not in a hurry, wait for galaxy S11. If you consider to buy a Note series, it is better to buy Note10+. It is because, not like S10+ vs S10, Note10+ have 2 promising features (I think), ToF 3D and microSD slot (microSD slot? is it promising?? LOL). S10 vs Note10 only, please: well, I think I will choose S10.

  • Perhaps some countries get a more recent security patch before other countries? My phone's battery doesn't last as long as it did the first 2 months of having it, and I don't have too many apps installed on it. Would you know what could be causing battery drainage?

  • u have to change back camera alignment and head phone by your own products

  • Well, fingerprint sending was never an issue with my OnePlus through several models. I well understand Samsung's is a better tech, but it does take several tries.

  • Thanks. I had to activate call waiting. That was hidden in phone settings. Got it now. Thank you very much.

  • Thank you so much. These do not appear in 'Settings'. After your advice, I looked up the YouTube. I discovered we have to go through the Phone App settings. Thanks again for this help.

  • This phone no battery backup. Draining too fast. I used many Samsung S series. (S3, S4, S5, S7, S9) there is lasting battery more than this Samsung S10 phone. Anyone facing same problem ? Or only for my phone ? Please answer me. Because i need to contact Samsung care

  • Mine's on August security patch.

  • Lol you still trying to decide? I remember you commenting on Note 10 page too. I have a suggestion. Just go to a showroom and use both phones for a while and decide. If you live in US, note 10 and the S10 are getting the same snapdragon 855 processor. But if you're outside of US you're probably getting the exynos version. In this case, note 10 has a slightly powerful and power efficient processor. Slightly larger screen and battery in Note 10. Stylus (s pen) in Note 10. Slightly more squarish design. 256gb of UFS 3.0 storage which is slightly faster than the S10's internal storage. A little bit brighter appature in the Note 10's telephoto camera. No headphone jack. But you won't really miss it nowadays. No heart rate sensor. Still ..... Its 100 euros more expensive and the display is only FullHD. I think this was a samsung strategy. If they put a QHD display on the Note 10, s10 sales will go down drastically. So i think they wanted to create a bit of 50/50 doubt in people's minds. (toss a coin and choose kinda situation) Just buy the note 10+ and call it a day haha.

  • Got an S10 in May as a contract upgrade over 3 years. It's a great phone but I'm wondering why I'm getting a Software update where the Security patch level is from 1 July, and not a more recent Security patch level.

  • Thanks Maria. Think I may have to toss a coin.

  • You need to activate "Call Waiting" option in sim card option for receiving incoming call alerts.

  • Thanks for your info.

  • You should be hearing a beep sound if you have turned on call waiting.

  • Flase comment. Or you don't have a good musscle memory. Unlike other optical fingerprint sensors which needs the screen to be turned on to unlock the phone, Ultrasonic fingerprint sensors are always on and are relatively more secure. After about a week of using, i got used to the position of the fingerprint reader placement and it works just as accurate as a normal capacitive reader.

  • Yes, it is very slow and everytine it takes 2-4 tries.

  • My S10 doesn't alert me of an incoming call when I am on a call. Can't find where in the setting can I set it right. Requesting a guidance from the community.

  • S10 screen size is the most comfortable for me, not too small or big

  • It doesn't have a decent battery

  • I suggest s10+. Not much diff betwen them both except spen. I bought s10+ and honestly its an amazing phone. Ultrsonic fingerprint scanner is great. Also it comes with pre installed screen protector. But think note 10 has that to. But my advice, buy s10+.

  • S10e has the most comfortable form factor in any phone right now

  • The note 10 and s10e have a 1080p panel where as the rests use qhd but set to 1080p from factory The 1080p panels which are native would be more sharp compared to the downs called 1080p in the qhd displays

  • Well I got my new smartphone S10 yesterday. And it's the 1st time in my life am using a Samsung Mobile. Some says that the camera in low light have lots of iso. Some says that the video voice recordings are not the best as LG V40 ThinQ. Some says that It doesn't shoot best photos in any mode u used. But in my experience for the 1st time before updating the device, Trust me Samsung Galaxy Series S are mind blowing. If u want the best then go for ; 1.Huawei mate 20 Pro 2. Huawei P30 Pro 3. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 4. Samsung Galaxy S10 5. Samsung Galaxy A70 (Lower price) I have done all my research since 2 years to get something awesome. So u won't regret after purchasing one above.

  • Hi @Cupcake, Thank you for your comments. And yes I'm from Sri Lanka. Some people says that S10 fingerprint sensor isn't working very well, very slow, sometimes fingerprint is not identifying property and things like that. Also in YouTube reviews. So that's the concern I had. I hope fingerprint is working fine. I'll check with softlogic. And Dialog has lower price than softlogic for today. Thanks again.

  • How you got Android One ROM? Are you refering to AOSP? Is your phone receiving official updates? I see Samsung phones have very less custom ROMs probably due to exynos chipset.

  • I recommend that you go to a softlogic showroom or a local retailer to get hands on with all three S10, Note 10, and S10+. They are pretty similar in performance, so go with the one you like the most. All are great devices.

  • Hi eesha, I'm pretty sure you're from Sri Lanka. Don't worry, fingerprint works without any issues.

  • Does samsung galaxy s10 have fingerprint issues? Slow or not working properly. I'm going to buy one. S10+ or note 10? Which is better? Please share your experience.

  • If you concern with the display between both, S10 wins (higher resolution, more ppi). If we set both in the same resolution (i.e. 1080p), S10 still wins technically because it has more ppi on the sheet. I do not count them so do not blame me LOL. What make us "wow..." in the display of Note10 is the Samsung's new design language, bit more squarish design. As an ordinary user, I do not see big differences between both, at least from my eyes. I do not say no differences at all thou because they may be different technically.

  • Maria what is your opinion of the note10, not the note10+. Almost the same size as the s10 with some enhancements and some trade offs. My concern with the note10 is its slightly degraded display. Any thoughts.

  • Thanks again for trying to help. My J6 runs on Android One 1.0. I’ll ask the same question on the J6 forum.

  • Yes i used spotify and blackplayer on S10 and Nokia 8. In both phones i had to unlock my phone and swipe the notification away to make the music disappear from the lockscreen. Your issue may be due to a old android version. Mine is on One UI 1.1 Try asking the same question on Galaxy J6 opinions page. Or try contacting community support. Make sure your software(app and OS) is up to date. I'll try finding a solution when i have some free time. If i find one, I'll write it down here :)

  • I agree with Maria on this. S10 vs s10+ --- s10+ has a larger screen and somewhat better battery life. But in S10, having only one camera on the front, the design looks much nicer to me. That was the reason i went with S10 instead of the plus model. About that battery life: i get 6+ hours of screen on time which is more than enough for me as I'm still a student. If i go somewhere like a hike where I'd use my phone to take photos and videos, i carry a battery pack with me. Even if i had a S10+, I'd probably need a battery pack in this kind of a situation. So it's a win win. Compact design, cleaner/better looks, pocket-ability - Seems like regular S10 is a solid choice this year. If you want a larger phone, Note 10+ is worth considering.

  • I assume you are in emergency to upgrade your S6. If you prefer easy to operate it with 1 hand, S10 wins. But as long as I know, we are still using 2 hands to operate (i.e. play a game, type messages). We are using 1 hand only, only if we make a call. So I think I love the small normal one rather than a phablet, because of its pocket-ability. The front camera hole/holes...well, I feel it personally, it is disturbing only if we are watching YouTube/netflix. The same situation with the notch/waterdrop notch/any names if I am watching movie in full screen. Yes, from S6 to S10 series is a remarkable upgrade.

  • Same situation, willing to upgrade from s6 to s10 and I'd say its definately worth the upgrade.

  • Hi all, Currently on Galaxy S6, looking to upgrade now. Would you recommend on s10 or s10plus? I'm using phones for at least 3+ years, so in terms of long term device s10+ would be a better choice? Or is it too big and not really comfortable for one hand control?and in pocket? Plus those 2 camera holes are really have "presence" and catching your eye no? S10 looks like more comfortable and not really small like the S10e. Your thoughts/recommendations guys? Thanks!!

  • @Cupcakes: Did you try it with Spotify? Or with another music app? I have this problem with Spotify, forgot to mention that in my earlier post.

  • Thank you for answering. And yes, I obviously know the iPhone 8 has better audio quality than the J6. Still I use J6 sometimes in the shower while my 8 is charging. J6 audio quality is not that bad and I don't set high standards for phone speaker quality anyway :)

  • Yes he did, but he stated "this (s10) and s10e blew my mind". I thought you didn't see the word "this" in his comment. :D

  • Because @Toldor wrote S10e in the opinion@S10_pages. No mistake but I just made it clear.

  • S 10 is the best for me

  • Very poweful phone ever

  • Is s10e a bad device? LOL

  • Not on my s10. Well i have a customized lockscreen on my phone. Lemme check on a different Android... Nope it doesn't go away unless you unlock your phone and swipe the notification away. Tried on 2 different Androids ‐ galaxy s10 and Nokia 8 (Btw iphone 8 has better audio quality than your J6)

  • I have a J6 that I use as a spare phone and just to play with Android. I have an iPhone 8 that I use as my main phone. When I play music on my J6 and I pause it, then turn my screen off and then back on again, the control panel for music on the lock screen disappears. Is this normal with Samsung phones, also with flagship S models?

  • You wrote S10e, didn't you?

  • Tested Samsung devices on a local store and this and s10e blew my mind, comfortable, easy to use, fast, the hole was really small in person. We really need more devices of this size.

  • Just format your phone and it will fix battery drainage issue.

  • Yes, it drains fast on my galaxy s9 plus, I agree with you

  • Yes after the last update of August my battery drains fast

  • That (i.e. childish icons) makes us forever-young.

  • The UI still looks childish lol

  • Anyone else have battery drain issue?

  • No maria, he said " don't put your phone in water(something like that) just scroll down and see... i was asking for the reason since this is rated ip68.

  • an iphone se, Get a grip

  • Hello guys, Which one has better signal reception for 4g? S10 or Mate 20 Pro?

  • For underwater shooting LOL

  • Don't put in water? What's the reason for that?

  • Purchased S10 2 weeks back & I have no regrets. It is an awesome device & a nice upgrade from my previous S9. Battery life is much better & Dynamic Amoled Screen is to die for. No call dropping & great speaker volume.

  • If you donot drop or break, or put in water, samsung phones work more than 6 years.

  • I love iOS because I think iOS is more stable and durable in any ways. I am using Apple Macbook and iPad but I am using Android phone (i.e. Samsung phone right now). It is because I hate Apple's bluetooth and NFC in its iPhone, they are so exclusive, they cannot connect with other devices. And what make worse, I am using a phone, not laptop/tablet as my daily driver. So, who are wrong? iPhone or me? LOL

  • Make sense.....

  • S10, since I'm using it right now.

  • In my opinion, the Galaxy S10 is better compared to the iphone X in several sections like camera, display, design. But the final decision is all about your preferences in ios vs Android OS. Both are good devices. Iphone X is about 50$ expensive than the galaxy s10 in my country, so for me, if i had to choose, I'd go with the galaxy s10 (I already have LOL) Try comparing their prices, design, ios vs android and get the one you like the most.

  • Please Advice which Best Phone Samsung s 10 & I phone X...

  • Yes, you're right. Hackers target people with a very low knowledge about these hacks/traps.

  • 10 years? Let's see the 2009/2010's phones today, and well, I think they are still good in the right hand LOL.

  • I have used all S series phones of Samsung, was a hug fan of S3, didn't have that experience with the rest, there was always an issue ... I had my S9 replaced with S10 by warranty because of heating issues, I just payed a small amount. Since I got my hands on S10 I think Samsung is back. A great built quality in every matter. Amazing sound quality, amazing sceen. Phone calls never drops as that was my issue with S9. I used many phones of which Apple iphones and Huawei Pro phones with comparison I think this could last long with me. I currently use two phones which made me select the smaller s10 but if I had one choice of phones to keep for few years I would go for S10 plus. SADLY, Samsung will stop getting phones with headphone 3.5mm jack as we have seen on Note10. So S10plus hold up till 2023

  • Very good phone

  • Planning to buy this one. Hope this will last for 10 years.

  • Hi Cupcakes I assumed that he was not serious but then some people are just silly enough to take him at his word. If they are silly enough to get sucked in by this so-called promotion then who knows what else they might do.

  • I just think that @Oussama is able to have one of those for free because he renew his phone contract.

  • I've made a mistake. Iphone XR has wireless charging. Sorry about that. (I thought the XR has a metal back side)

  • But, iphone 8 and XR has not many differences. Iphone 8s processor is more than fast enough in 2019 and idk, maybe it's the battery life or faceID or slightly improved camera. I think the iphone 8 looks much better than XR. I don't think it's worth it to spend money on XR when you already have iPhone 8. Also you're ditching 3D touch and wireless charging in the process.

  • He's just kidding haha. People should avoid these scams as they're just traps to gain access to personal stuff.

  • If it is so urgent and you have got iPhone 8, I think XR is the one for you.

  • iPhone XR is comparable to the s10e and even then it comes up short. Its only advantage is a slightly larger display but on every other comparison s10e and certainly s10 is superior......unless you particularly want ios.

  • No do not ever give anyone your credit card details. You are asking for trouble when some unscrupulous person enjoys free use of your card. As for the promotion I have no idea but it does seem to smell a little. Be very cautious.

  • XR vs S10? You should'nt be even asking the question. S10 is way way way better unless you want Apple's ios.

  • For apple owners... I suggest switching to pixel 4(never pixel 3) in October if you want to try android. :D

  • It is true...don't forget to give them your credit card number with the code...

  • Everything works great so far. Photo was superb. Battery at first I got barely 7 hours screen on time, after tweak some setting I get 10 hours 40 minutes screen on time. Now that I bought wireless charger to put on my office desk and car charger in my car and fast charger near my bed, battery was quickly charged. Im a heavy and pro user, so far no nasty problem tweaking setting. silly problem like when changing whatsapp notification sound will make no sound notification, no such thing like that, very professional and thoughtful ui experience. at least for now, after 1 month

  • Shall I get an iphone XR or a Samsung S10 ,I have an iPhone 8 By The Way

  • The S10 is a fantastic phone i love mine. The phone is super fast not experienced any lag. Even on heavy gaming. Minimal heating. The cameras are awesome. So overall its well recomended. Having owned a Hauawei P20 pro. No difference in cameras even night mode is awesome. And the added bonus of 4k60fps over the P20pro. Right the phone classes as water resistant yes you can submerge in water. But not sea water as salt water creates salt crystal that corrodes. But if you read the warranty on all makes of phones. They say water ingress voids warranty. So its down to the user.

  • May i ask if you have a samsung lottery power ball? Because i make a power ball and i won they say i won samsung s10 and i fill up the information they gave but they said the postal code i gave is invalid. This is true or not?

  • No phone is water proof.

  • Yes. Read the specs.

  • Water proof or not

  • Nope it doesn't. You won't be needing 5G for another couple of years at least i guess.

  • s10, but if you find a good deal, the p30 pro is a great phone

  • Stop lying, you don't have the s10, please go back to your iPhone thread, you're not needed here

  • S10 is excellent in everything...cameras are fantastic especially at night. My girlfriend just bought an Iphone, night pictures are terrible, she is so jealous of my 10...But she can tell her friends she has an Iphone...ahahah.

  • Should I take the huawei mate 20 pro or s10?

  • Battery backup? How is it my friend tell

  • It has been taken care of in the recent update No lag now even when playing on max settings for a few matches

  • Normal S10 support 5g network ?

  • very much laggy donot go for it . the worst mobile on gaming

  • I’ve been thinking about a change from iPhone XS, so I bought this galaxy s10, but I didn’t sell the iph xs just in case I changed my mind and o am I glad I kept the iPhone XS, this galaxy s10 is possibly the worse phone I’ve ever used, slows dawn drastically after using it for a while battery goes flat in less than a day of use, I’ve gone back to the iPhone XS and glad I’ve done so,

  • How to remove Samsung Pay from the bottom of my homescreen ?

  • You are absolutely right, there is a heart rate monitor on S10, I made a confusion with S10e. But unfathomably you cannot use it to take a selfie as with S9 or S8.

  • No, haven't lagged on ne yet. Just in benchmark it lags behind SD855.

  • In a patent that Samsung announced in 2017, a new power storage technology using so-called graphene is described. It is a two-dimensional grid made of carbon atoms and designed to provide 65 percent more battery capacity for smartphones. If a lithium-ion battery, which is currently installed in cell phones, takes about an hour to fully charge, the graphene battery will do it in just twelve minutes. As is usual with such patent applications, a relatively long time difference was expected between the patent approval and the final implementation in a mobile device. However, a recent tweet by the well-known Lenders Evan Blass, which is conspicuously correct in rumors surrounding Samsung hardware, now suggests that the introduction of the new battery technology is taking shape. Samsung: First smartphone with new battery technology possibly already next year 2020. Thaya Samsung galaxy s11. Graphene battery.

  • There's a lot of competition out there. All making beautiful phones . Xiaomi, oppo, one + , Huawei, vivo ect. But for me why I give the s series the edge over the rest .. I'm a out door person and the ip68 rating will always win for me . Beautiful, fast powerful and water resistant. I'm sold. Waiting for the s series to go one step further and go ip69 😍😍😍&#128525;

  • can you tell me does s10 exynos version lag while playing pubg does the framedrop affect the game too much or just okay?

  • Using it for last 5 months. Execellent performance. :) loved the camera most.

  • Why on earth would you want to do that. What are using your phone for that you need to re-set it frequently if at all.

  • OnePlus 7pro or Xperia 1

  • You can reset it twice every hour. Why stop working? You are an android user since...yesterday?

  • Probably one7

  • Yes, in contrary to the what supposed to be the most feature rich phone, the Note10. I cannot recommend the Note series over the S series this year 2019.

  • I'm android user. I have one question. If I factory reset my android phone many times for example twice a month will my phone stop working?

  • Which phone is better Oneplus 7 or S10 (exynos) version?

  • Heart rate monitor is present on the S10!

  • Not possible in S10 because they removed the heart rate sensor. Only options are palm, floating button, voice, volume button.

  • Yes, it is only the displat size matter. If that size difference is worth for you, you must choose S10+. The additional front camera is only for fun as the quality of the main front camera is the same, at least for my eyes LOL

  • Honestly, you sould take the S10. I have it and it work perfectly great. I wanted the S10+, but after a few check, they're the same phone. They have the very same specs. It juste the size of the phone (6.1" for the S10 and 6.4 for the S10+, with the same resolution), the battery with the S10+ is a little bit better and it have 2 selfie camera (useless for me) compared to a single with the S10. That's basically the difference between the two. -Bigger phone (0.3" difference) -2 selfie camera -Slightly better battery Otherwise they have the same specs, so for the price, go with the S10 :p

  • I m little confused i want to buy s10. but i didn't know which one S10 or S10+

  • I agree

  • Hi Any one try shooting selfie by moving finger on the back sensors like the S9?? is this feature removed in S10?

  • I am using S10 for a few days now (Exynos version) and I don't get why people are complainung about battery... Battery life is same as A50 4000mah that I had for few months. Since phone is new, I'm allways on it and battery lasts whole day without any problems. And it charges fast. I think people are reposting some old reviews witout acrually owning S10. I am using only flagahip phones and S10 is one of the beast in every aspect. I did get a big update out of the box, and maybe there was some minor issue 4 months ago but I really don't have any complaints. Great phone overall

  • I think Samsung put too small battery into S10. They should have put 3700 mah or more.

  • I have had just about ever Samsung galaxy in the series and the s10 from the s9 is the biggest jump in battery life that I have ever seen. It was much more impressive than I was expecting.

  • It's only available to the US and Canada

  • Hey, I want to use local FM streaming in Galaxy s10 Plus, is there anyone who can guide me how Can I tune FM Radio, Currently I am living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia...

  • It's all subjective to usage though. And really is a potential 2 hours worth sacrificing warranty ?

  • The sd version 8 hours sot ,exynos 6 hours

  • The SD might be a touch better but honestly it's nothing worth bragging about. I have the exynos and I did my research before buying, SD is not available in my country so I would have to import it - with all the potential warranty issues etc from being a grey import it's simply not worth the effort for potentially a little more battery,

  • Had this phone for about 2 weeks now, overall really happy with it but like most people who have this just a bit disappointing with the battery. I understand it takes some time for the phone to learn my usage patterns but I still think out of the box the phone should last a day with decent usage

  • Your phone should still be under warranty. Take it back and have it checked. Silly question but have tried to simply re-start your phone. Sometimes I have download problems with my s8 but once I re-start the phone everything is perfect again.

  • I agree with the answer of @cupcakes and try another recognizable charger as well.

  • Problem may be due to a damaged charging cable. Assuming you've been gentle when plugging in the charging cable to your phone and phone itself being only about 5 months old, I don't think your phone's port is damaged. Try changing the charging cable and if it doesn't help, contact support from Samsung.

  • Hi .. am using s10 since march onwards. It is the best phone i ever use except battery life. Now started issue while charging. Phone is showing fast charging indication on display but actually battery is not charging. Phone is getting hot. Need to remove/ switch of charger and if connect back, it will start charging again. Same problem will come after few minutes.

  • thanks for your replay i usually don,t play pubg but play some heavy games time to time , i was confused between the s10 and s10 plus all exynos versions because the bad battery reviews but now ,, i will check both models and get mine soon ,, thanks

  • thanks so much for your replay ,, this is good sot i was wondering because many reviews said Exynos version has bad battery drain but after what toy said i am going to get this phone or maybe the Plus model i dont know i am confused lol thanks again .

  • I usually get around 5-6 hours of SOT with around 20% battery remaining. I don't play heavy demanding games on my phone. If you're using the device for games like PUBG, i guess you'll have to carry a powerbank with you anyways.

  • is this phone battery good in exynos version i've heard about couple of uodates that works good but can anybody answer me pls about this sot time ?

  • I very much doubt that. Nothing about this phone is junk. You must be trying to promote a different brand for your own reasons.

  • why google phones using qualcomm's snapdragon chipset only. THINK. ( qualcomm's snapdragon chipset is the best)

  • On screen time the s10e will win out die to smaller screen lower resolution but using things for phone calls s10 would win same power draw bigger battery Durability both good s10e has gorilla glass 6 not 6 like s10 but is flat screen so less risk so equal level

  • You can use Bixby Routines to show the Always on Display when the phone is charging

  • I have no Idea why some people hate Exynos so much, what Exynos does? Moreover, Samsung is not stupid to use Exynos inside its phone. SD may be better and more famous than Exynos, but I do not think that there is different too much.

  • Exynos version is junk

  • I assume that both is 100% authentic and not faulty product. S10 has more mAh than S10e, so S10 has more time to do than S10e in the same activities. Both has the same durability hopefully as I never try to test its durability. Next, I am curious who is "it" that show the best phone? For me, at least, all S10 series are the best (please note, I do not compare it with other brands)

  • No notification led to know if your phone is charging...Good to know, you can enable the lovely screen saver in the display settings.

  • Hi guys I want to buy a new phone. From s10 and s10e what is the best. S10 is 115 USD more cost than s10e in my city. I am importantly looking durability and the battery life. And also when I am searched what are the best phones in 2019, it shows s10 plus and s10e except s10 in the phone lists. So what do you think guys...?

  • please do you have exynos version or snapdragon ? in case of exynos can you tell please how the performance in games and the battery life after the updates ?

  • Came from Iphone X to Samsung S10. Pretty satisfied right now with the battery life, camera performance, smoothness and display colors. One UI makes this experience much better. Samsung improved a lot lately, and S10 is a great phone overall. I like it more than the plus version, because it fits right in my hand, and its great for one hand use. Only thing that I dont like is the notifications on AOD and when the screen is in sleep time.

  • How do you mean it's bad? It is not responsive or it doesn't register finger? I played for a half an hour with s10 in t-mobile store and i didn't see any problems when trying out fingerprint. Phone was freshly updated an it had stock protectiv plastic film on it. As it turns out you don't have to press it harder, you can just tap it but it reacts half a second after that. Maybe due to animations. But guy in store told me if using a screen protector, special mode must be enabled in samsungs options.

  • Thanks for replay. Since I'm in Europe, only Exynos version is option because I'm also getting it from local carrier on 2y contract. I was using Huawei phones till now and was really happy with them but 6.4 is a bit to big for my taste. I think that 6.1 with slim bezzels is sweet spot. And only 2 phones that i like are s10 and Huawei P30. And when comparing them I think S10 is a better all rounder. I was a bit worried about new fingerprint but it seems fine now according to all mayor youtubers :D :D

  • For me no problem with fingerprints, very accurate but you have to press a bit stronger than usual. And i don't use any screen protector (i removed the preinstalled one, its edge was uncomfortable always touching my thumb), the phone is in a pouch when i am not using it.

  • i love it but its addictive the phone is good but needs more sound on headphones

  • remove spotify from your list of sleeping apps....hope this helps

  • How to activate internet connection.

  • Sadly, i can't answer your 1st question since I only have the black variant. Yes i have already installed a glass screen protector (not sure if it's actually glass or plastic, but it was done with UV adhesive). I got mine for 6$ i guess from AliExpress. It works really well, fingerprint works. But you'll have to take certain precautions when using the UV glue, and I'll help you with that if you purchase one in the future. I don't think phones overcharge these days. I ise wireless charging everyday (it's a good idea since the charging port isn't user replaceable this time around). Normally i do not charge my phone to 100% to avoid battery wear, but yesterday i was so tired and i forgot to remove the phone from wireless charger. By the time i woke up (about 6 hours later) the phone had stopped charging at 100% and it was at normal room temperature. For the final question, exynos variant isn't occupied with the latest and greatest chipset of 2019. Samsung is expected to launch a better processor with galaxy Note 10 and even Qualcomm is launching 855+. But unless you're going after specs or heavy games, i don't think you'll notice a difference between exynos and snapdragon variants. I bought the phone for a monthly contract, so I'll be happily using my galaxy s10 for 3 more years.

  • Please Samsung, make a phone like the K Zoom of 2014 again !!!!

  • Looks good in green until it's covered by a case:) The foil from factory is very scratchy, i don't think it can last more than few months. The fingerprint is very bad even with the newest firmware, i'm shocked

  • Hi all. I'm planing on getting this phone next month and i have few questions. Does anyone have it in prism green? How does it look? Second - did anyone instal glass protector - one with adhesive and uv light? Its not cheap but worth the money if it works. Third - someone earlier stated that when on wireless charging phone doesn't stop charging when on 100% so it gets very hot - is that true? All and all i think this phone looks great and I persume it is allrounder for next 1,5-2 years.

  • l so much loved this s10

  • Fantastic phone. I noticed a battery drain in the first something to do with phone learning my usage its settled. And its way better battery life. Cracking camera and lowlight shots amazing. My only niggle no notification like on S9 .

  • Great low light pictures with S10...even before updates.

  • Good phone anyway compare to 6s battery.

  • guys does the latest update has fixed the battery drain issue in general or just during idle standby ? i want to buy one but thinking between s10 or plus one with exynos so pls help me with ur experience . does Screen on time great in this device or suffering to last one day with alot of web browsing and some gaming ?

  • Are u kidding lol

  • Glad to see you've figured it out :)

  • Hello everyone i'm using the s10 atm and i have come to noticed a very irritating fact about this phone.. When i am using Bluetooth headphones and listen to spotify... my music seems to "stop" all of a sudden at the same time as the screen has turned black.. if i press play again the song will play for maybe 20-50 seconds which then after that pauses and i have to do the same thing again.. Aswell as in sometimes when i use the phone (like in facebook or any other app) while using spotify in the background it comes to a stop. So i have to enter spotify app to get it all started again otherwise it won't work (not even if i press the play button)

  • Thanks for your comment i am at work but i went in to options and fixed the option for spotify (it was set on limited use) which i now have given full capacity for. If this doesn't work later on i will let you know! However big thanks for a quick respond! :)

  • I think the spotify app isn't allowed to run in the background on your device. Mine has no such issue. Following method should fix your issue. Go to App info of Spotify app (you can long press on the icon to access App info) and there select the "Battery" option and turn on the option for "Allow background activity". If it's already turned on, select "Optimize battery usage" and select "option ~ All from the dropdown menu on top left of the screen". Scroll down until you find Spotify and turn off the blue switch for Spotify. This should most probably fix the problem assuming you've not changed anything in the developer options. And reply to this comment if this doesn't work...

  • "S10/S10+ are low devices for money." LOL, I am just wondering what the high devices for money are. Oh well, mate, I am not Samsung defender. If you are talking about this right now, you may be right because there are many phones launched after S10 series and some of them are looking worth (of course, for the money). But judging this S10 series as the bad phone is surely questionable. I assume that the phones are 100% authentic, original and not faulty products.

  • I have S10. And why is that important to you? Buy one and then we can talk about it. You will find every my word correct.

  • Have you actually got one or do you just parrot from what you think you know.

  • S10/+ are very low devices for money. Battery with Exynos is really bad, specially considering 4100mah in S10+. Slow charging speeds (only 15w), some users reported low auto brightness (due to new light sensor under the screen, below wifi icon in status bar), lag in animations when you go with full resolution (default is 1080+p), and now some users reporting unlock bug. For the price of S10 series theese are one big No-No. Exynos is far away from SD855, even the performance with Exynos is awful. Battery the biggest dissapointment. Skip S10 series. Buy something beyter for that amount od money.

  • Exynos 9820 is a deal breaker at least for Europe. -20% battery life, -20% performance in comparison with 855 SD

  • for number 1, it doesn't happen on mine, very fast...although the optical is still slightly faster compared to ultrasonic, 2D vs 3D sensors. number 2 I agree, it takes almost 2 hours for mine to charge from 0 to 100%, but it's only 15 watt fast charging, so I have no complaint.

  • How about the low light photos after the update?

  • so i picked S10 to add to this year flagship collection (Note9, 1+6T, Mi9). [Spoiler:I can reaffirm Mi9 is the phone of they year.] S10 software much much better than MIUI or Oxygen of course. But much slower too. I LOVE the weight and compact size of S10. Ain't no brick like disgusting model 1+7! With cover, getting 170g weight vs Mi9 200g vs Note9 230g. What sucks is really lack of innovation, nothing new since S7 model.. except extra spyware added (Hiya, facebook, instagram, onedrive, fourthsquare...) with new worse privacy rules (that no-silly-body reads but i do) and missing LED diod. And the are 2 things that are big dissapointment: 1) very slow on-screen fingerprint reader........ can't match Mi9/6T 2) very slow charging..... Mi9 on 20 wireless charged in 1.5hr or S10 on 15W Qi charged in 3hr? it's a 10W device, forget 15W, there's noone on planet who measured less than 2.5hr of full charge. Still can't believe Mi9 costs half!

  • Does anyone notice high battery drain by system apps. ° Android System ° Device Idle ° Cell Standby ° Android OS ° Audio Server (probably bcos i listen to a lot of music) ° System UI These are seperate entities and they are usually consumes about 40% per 18 hour day (usual usage hours for me). Should i contact Samsung Service Center or are they just normal values? I did a system reset a couple of days ago, but nothing really changed in those areas. Thank you :)

  • Try resetting Usage Patterns in Adaptive brightness. (Can be accessed via display settings)

  • I have the Galaxy S10. And yes, in daylight conditions selfie cam is really good.

  • Someone have auto brightness problem? Strange change in beightness in different light situations. It is worse than Galaxy S9, they should fix this. My S9 had a better auto brightness. And max brigthness is lower than S9.

  • I just buy s10+ I just want to ask is the front camera for selfie good?

  • What do u mean?

  • what about iPhone dude

  • Nice joke.

  • battery is a joke .. for this money

  • Lol!!! :-D

  • Are you thick in the head? the phone only came out in March this year and you got it for a year already? Are you seriously thick?

  • Lol......

  • Used loads of phones and this one is the best buy. No lags after latest updates. Fingerprint scanner works perfectly. Snappy fast, lighting fast. The best phone in the market. Everyone who's planning to get their hands on it, my highest recommendations on this device.

  • He's from the future xD

  • It was released in March 2019 & you're using it since one year??

  • So good Phone,i have this phone for 1 year now and it is killer

  • That's blood oxygen level

  • Easwn. Just go to settings, device care, battery then go totsleeping apps then put all the apps you dont use often to sleep. It helps. 7hrs standby only 3% battery usage

  • what is SpO2

  • I have this phone and everything is good except the battery drain so fast

  • Assuming that you're planning to buy the unlocked version of the phone, your carrier won't have an effect on how you receive OTA updates. You'll receive them when Samsung release the update. You could always do some more digging on that, probably reddit will help.

  • I think you should go for S10 Because 01 - 8GB Ram 02 - Very lightweight 03 - Fingerprint on screen 04 - New design 05 - Compact size

  • Hi thanks for giving attention, here is the thing, here in uae etisalat is my carrier and they support exynos variants, the snapdragon is supported by u.s carrier, so the question is, will i be getting the updates? Thats my concern

  • SD & Exynos are the hardware. They are not related to Software update. Both hardware can get the software update. If what you mean is how the performance they are after updating software, well, I have no word.

  • Should not make any difference. Up dates are supplied by your carrier.

  • hi, to those who bought a samsung s10 snapdragon and you are located in a region where nxynos is supported are you able to recieve regular o.t.a software updates? please share your ideas. i want to buy an s10 but im worried that if i chose the snapdragon variant i may not able to recieve regular updates

  • Lol you complain like you were forced to buy a galaxy S10 to begin with. I don't know about the others, the fingerprint scanner seems to work really well for me even with a tempered glass installed. And the face ID also works good.

  • I think there's some machine learning happening with Adaptive battery thing. First few days seemed to have a really aweful screen on time / battery life, but after a couple of weeks, everything is pretty solid, specially the stand by battery drain is kept to a really low value.

  • If you think it's ugly then why did you buy it? I doubt that you are genuine.

  • I am having the Exynos version

  • I used medium power saving instead of optimized.

  • I hated this phone. It's not good. Battery life is abysmal, camera is awful, gesture navigation is stupid, it's ugly, fingerprint scanner & face unlock is so slow and takes multiple attempts. I just traded it in for a Huawei p30 Pro and I couldn't be happier.

  • Ihad s10 plus with heavy usage im only getting max. 5.5 hrs of sot how u get 9hrs?

  • The battery is pants. But ive found that after the phone has gone through optimisation process. Since ive first switched on its slightly better.

  • Ive just upgraded. And its a really good phone. The camera is very good even in low light. 4k recording is just amazing. The performance well its super fast with no lag. I have the odd overheating. But ive had that on my S4.S5.S6.S7. But my only niggle is battery is shocking.

  • Have been using S10 plus Exynos for 2 weeks. Overall experience is very good. For the first few days, battery SOT was not good at 4 to 5 hours. After few days, i managed to get from 7 to 9 hours SOT. Recommended

  • Great phone, best phone ive ever had function and screen wise, battery is pathetic, im a gamer, dont get this phone if u like games, i lose 10% battery per hour normal use, i lose 20% battery life per hour when i play pubg or clash of clans, so no, im not happy with the poor battery, but the phone in general is awesome.

  • S10

  • Yes i agree with you so you should buy samsung phone maybe S10

  • Ur using sd or exynos version?

  • S10 is the best

  • hey, i wanna buy anew phone note9 or s10 which best?

  • Do you have any alternative choice? If the S10 is the only one for you and you need it urgently, S10 is fine.

  • Please recommend! S10 buy or not

  • Im.really impressed with the S10. It seems Samsung made a near perfect phone. Loving the screen. The camera is impressive. But the still has the elephant in room. Pants battery life. Nothing has changed after 10 years. In battery life

  • Does this G alaxy S10? have ambiental temperture and humidity sensor?

  • really good phone. when august become closer the prices will start to drain faster than before.

  • I have a HUAWEI phone. After using it until the battery reach 25%, I left it idle with lock screen for 4 hours. The battery goes down to 20% suddenly within this 4 hours, with 4G VoLTE data on, Wi-Fi off, no Facebook, no Messenger and no WhatsApp. SAMSUNG Galaxy phones never have such strange situation until today.

  • Thank you so much, will consider your opinions.

  • Yeah the S10 fits perfectly in the hand. And I think you should know these, The charging port is soldered on to the motherboard, which makes it harder to replace. (if you're planing to use the phone for a long time) I asked about the battery replacement cost from official samsung repair center and it'll be around 45-50$ depending on where you live. But the charging port replacement will be super expensive compared to this. So I think it would be better to use a wireless charging pad. And if you install a tempered glass, unlocking might be a little bit slower. I installed one today, bought from ebay for 4$ xD. The fingerprint scanner still works though...

  • Thanks for the long message, giving ur time to express about this phone,Much needed one 🤩✌. Will go with s10 as its the best smartphone at this size,.Nowadays all the flagships are targetting to make super large displays which is difficult to handle in one hand (except pixel and iphone).

  • Oneplus should have a better performance + high refresh rate display, but it's too large i guess. Huawei, honestly I don't know, i think huawei's have solid performance and a great camera, but you are likely to miss any major Android updates. S10 exynos - i own one - i recon you test it out at a samsung store to get the feel of it. The punch hole coutout, i personally like it, specially when it comes to notifications and some clever implementations like when scanning for FaceID or opening the selfie camera or the customizable notification light (kind of). Now about the Snapdragon vs Exynos part. I've seen some comparisons concluding the snapdragon is much better when it comes to performance and battery life. Sadly it's not available here (same scenario for youi guess). Exynos itself isn't bad. I couldn't compare it with any other flagship phones, but for me, performance is pretty good. I don't play heavy graphics intense mobile games. I use my galaxy S10 for YouTube, MS Excel, Movies, Social Media, Music, Podcasts, Reading E-books and other normal stuff, and there's no complains here. I like my phone a lot. I had the same doubt as Oneplus vs S10, but well Oneplus isn't available to be purchased on a EMI plan, so my choice was an easy one :D Anyways, final thoughts, I love my Galaxy S10. Camera is awesome Performance is solid: no slowdowns, app crashes or hiccups; Audio quality is great; crisp sounding stereo speakers, great audio quality through 3.5mm port Design - i personally love it S10 is like the best small android phone available right now for those who seek best of everything in a small footprint. Sorry for writing too long, hope it helps and as always it's your life. Go with the one you love, you won't regret it.

  • The only bad thing about this phone is you will get a weird status bar position when screenshot

  • Great phone, no problem. Perfect size, and not heavy. Expensive, but you get the best quality.

  • S10 (exynous version) or p30 pro (google ban problem going on) or one plus 7 pro. I normally prefer s10 over the other two phones as it is small in size (157g) and overall performance is better but due to the availability of exynous version (heard so many complains) do i need to go to oneplus 7 pro or p30pro or any other small size like s10 do you all recommend it should be easier to hold and easier to use,as oneplus and p30 will be heavier (difficult to use and hold), Thanks for your opinions.

  • If the situations are like what you said, then all the users should go to buy XiaoMi. But why still got so many users willing to pay more for a SAMSUNG Galaxy? HUAWE phones have almost the same selling price with SAMSUNG Galaxy phones (in most of the countries), and they still can sell more compared to XiaoMi. Why?

  • At least you @scorpio read and reply mine although no one is listening LOL I appreciate you.

  • Maria judging by newer posts it seems that no-one is listening.

  • i respect Samsung, it was a good time with them starting with Note2, it was about time to leave just as when I left HTC many years ago when they peaked: - arrogance: Samsungs are harder and harder to root (looking at S10 XDA forums, it's a bad community situation now - no ROMs, a spectacularly hard root) + insane Knox flag - persistent issue: Samsung's battery is always mediocre (even Note9 was terrible), you hardly survive a day while Xiaomis and OnePluses easily give you 1.5day - innovation halt: Samsung brought the TOP feature - Qi - but then they cut innovation: instead it's Mi9 with QC 1,2,3,4 and QI of insane 20W (that's what i expected in S8, then S9, then S10 - didn't happen) - leading market with fake innovations: bringing "notches" or camera cuts, fingerprint readers in the back.....just to fix it later. S7Edge was a revolution, that was something, but since then, ..nothing new, just focus on expanding screen-to-body ratio by 4% per year. So you get phone similar to a samsung flagship like Mi9 for half price, what you gonna do?

  • I agree, If you don't like the phone don't buy it.

  • Like the other guy said, Mah is a gimmick its all about software optimization

  • I use a huawei Union

  • What I mean is: Avoid mention other brand (especially in this Samsung pages) to say this brand worse than other brands. It is okay to mention Huawei but to mention Huawei to say Samsung is bad is not such good way.

  • First of all, Yes, I mean SD in that sentences. I appreciate your opinion but you must realize that most peoples outside from The USA (and others) must buy Samsung S10 family in Exynos in their countries if they want an authentic Samsung warranty of their phones. They can buy S10 in SD by importing it from other countries. So far I know, Samsung do not launch its phone in two versions (i.e. SD and Exynos version) in a country. What? Do you not buy these two version? I thought you did because you were so so so sure to say all of your words. So, you just try it in the shop or you just google this topic and you write down your sure opinion. O God, Sorry for that and I close this case.

  • Every single brand, not only Samsung, has the amount of faulty products. True but Samsung has lowered their quality a lot. If I buy a Huawei phone or an Iphone, I am sure that I won't have any problems. But if I buy Samsung, it will lag a lot in a few months. "...use Exynos to make their phone bad/worse than Exynos" I think you meant SD in your first Exynos. They do this to reduce the costs in other countries than the USA and China. The USA and China are the biggest markets and Samsung thinks if they can sell their phones with the better SD chips in these two big markets then they will sell their phones in other countries too even with inferior Exynos chips. Because Samsung thinks they are No:1 in other countries. Therefore, they think they don't have to use SD in those countries. That is exactly why Huawei sales have been extremely increased overall in the world. In Europe, Huawei is No:1 nowadays. Because people think why they should buy the inferior Samsung phones when there are better Samsung phones in the USA and China . "...You are so lucky to be able to buy two Samsung S10, one in SD and one in Exynos. For me, you are a good spender." -> When and where exactly did I say that? I remember saying that I tried phones in the store.

  • -"... I mention Intel to make an example, but I do not compare SD with Intel." On 06.06.2019 You said: "I have to admit SD is the best one in the smartphone world. Just like Intel i in the PC world. But please, avoid to promote another brands, such Huawei ..." Did I say anything like that? I said you mentioned about a brand name (Intel) while saying other people not to mention about any brands. You promote Intel and SD which are brand names but you tell other people to avoid to promote when it comes to Huawei. You behave like a duplicitous hypocrite in this regard.

  • I have used a HUAWEI phone with Android 8.1 and EMUI 8.2 for six months. I don't need a lot of apps running in the background. In the last month, I found the phone lag during the time I swipe to unlock the screen. This has not happened to any SAMSUNG Galaxy phones that have used for more than one year. So my conclusion is HUAWEI is same with previous SAMSUNG Galaxy phones which are using Experience UI / TouchWiz UI. Now I am using a SAMSUNG Galaxy A30 with Android 9 and One UI 1.1. I feel very satisfy with it's performance and smoothness.

  • Galaxy skin means? Good lock?? You can use Nice Lock if Good Lock isn't available in your region.

  • yeah you're right. My S8 that takes a few seconds to turn on, and lags almost always is an exaggeration. The fact is, it depends on usage. I need a lot of apps in the background, and I don't care about battery life, but this takes its toll on overall performance. And yes, a factory reset solves the issues for a month or two, then it lags again. I don't bother resetting it anymore, and I'm happy with its overall experience, but the lag is real. And my experience with older Huawei models was a bit better.

  • yes

  • I have both and S7 and S9 plus exynos versions. Both have aged well. Battery has been excellent and no lags. Lags are just exaggerated by some users

  • Will the US unlocked version of S10 will work in India?

  • And talking about the mass production, Every single brand, not only Samsung, has the amount of faulty products. How many is it? I do not know it. If peoples buy a faulty authentic product, well they are unlucky. More, Samsung is not so stupid to use Exynos to make their phone bad/worse than Exynos. You are so lucky to be able to buy two Samsung S10, one in SD and one in Exynos. For me, you are a good spender.

  • First, I do not edit my opinion here. I mention Intel to make an example, but I do not compare SD with Intel. SD is in the phone world and Intel is in the PC world (like I said before). So, to name brand here is not make thr brand worse than another brand. Of course I am sure that I do not compare Samsung with Huawei and even say Samsung is worse or will be falling down like Nokia, here in the Samsung pages (provided by gsmarena.com)

  • Exynos ir sd

  • can you help me to know battery drainage for moderate using of gaming, internet surfing and usual use

  • Samsung will face the same fate of Nokia's fall near soon.

  • You said that "But please, avoid to promote another brands,..." yourself in your previous message. It seems you also edited your message. But in the same message you also mention Intel, which is also a brand. That means you are doing the thing that you suggest other people not to do. Why do you behave like a duplicitous hypocrite?? (You tell me not to promote a brand name, but you promote a brand name yourself.) Let's come to my point. If Huawei is better than Samsung, I will say "Huawei is better than Samsung". If any other brand makes better products than Huawei, then I will say the new brand is better than Huawei. If you get both of these phones (Samsung and Huawei) into your hand, you will see that Huawei has much higher quality with a lower cost. I would also like Huawei to make high resolution TV panels too. Samsung makes so many defective TVs that it is getting funny. Why do you think Samsung sales are getting lower while Huawei sales are getting higher in the phone market? Because Samsung just does not have enough quality control over its products. Let's assume Samsung mass produces 100 000 phones (or TVs) in a month (I just made up the number to keep things simple). If the probability of a faulty product is 0,3%, then that means 300 Samsung products are defective but they still sell it to end users. They should remove them from sale. Also it is ridiculous that Samsung is the only brand that sells phones under the same name with different chips. They are both called Samsung Galaxy S10 and in some places in the world it comes with Snapdragon and while in others it comes with the inferior Exynos chips. They should name them as Samsung Galaxy S10EX (pointing out that it has an Exynos chip) Samsung Galaxy S10 SD (pointing out that it has a Snapdragon chip). Samsung heaps ridicule upon the people in the countries except the USA and China.

  • im using s10 now for 2 months.. my phones battery dont last. im same time on my phone as my S6 .. dont last.. what can be wrong

  • Sorry if my English is worse than yours. I cannot understand your first sentence (...brand name yourself?). Well...if you are using both SD and Exynos, I think you are the phone reviewer. But, saying SD is better than Exynos OR Huawei is better than Samsung is not a good way too, even for the salesman.

  • S9+ is still a great phone now, Wait for S11+ 9 more months

  • Please i need help, i have Samsung galaxy S9 plus, Do i really need to upgrade from s9 plus to s10

  • Samsung please bring ir blaster and super fast charging. You will gain alot of customers.

  • I am not a salesman, also you mentioned a brand name yourself. Even though Intel has recently been losing market share to AMD; because AMD's recent Ryzen processors are made with 12 nm manufacturing process, and according to performance/cost AMD is better nowadays. Also I think iphone processors are the best in the smartphone world because even after years they don't lag; but, they got more expensive each year. Huawei phones give the most consistent performance over years (after iphones) and they last longer on battery. It is because they can produce such stability in lower prices which Apple and Samsung simply cannot that the USA imposes embargo on Huawei. I am not Chinese but let's give the devil his due. Huawei delivers quality at lower prices. Also they don't heat as much as Samsung phones (with Exynos chips).

  • I confirm the mediocrity of exynos. I have had S10 for 2 days and it happened to me that the animations had setbacks. Nothing dramatic but over time this will lead to increasing slowness. Exynos is a processor of dubious quality and the Samsung UI is a boulder. I will use the return.

  • That's where you're wrong, kiddo. AMD is gonna be better than Intel with the release of Zen 2.

  • Guy i need a little help I have boutgh s10 an exynos version i have received 1 may updates it doesn't have the bright night feature, and also this exynos is a little slow and gets heatup sometimes..but it is a good device anyways

  • yes they dont lag is on the past till s5 but not anymore

  • I have to admit SD is the best one in the smartphone world. Just like Intel i in the PC world. But please, avoid to promote another brands, such Huawei, unless you are the salesman of that brands. Samsung use Exynos to avoid the legal issue in some countries.

  • Or is just your finger lag but not the phone? I have tried SAMSUNG Galaxy S10+, S10, S10e, A50, A30 and even A10 in the store, all these SAMSUNG Galaxy phones are using Exynos SoC, but I totally don't see any lags on the phones.

  • Please text me if u have a galaxy skin

  • Exynos = lags. That's all there is to it. It even has lags when I use them in the store. Think how much laggy it will be in 6 to 18 months. Snapdragon 855 is the best for android phones and Samsung delivers them only in the USA and China. They basically tell the people of other countries that they only deserve the inferior tech.

  • Between Exynos 9820 and SD855, the Snapdragon is certainly and definitely the better one. The current little performance and battery difference between those two will become bigger after a year or two. The Samsung phone with Exynos 9820 will be laggy as hell. Just because of this reason, people out of the USA and China have begun to buy Huawei phones collectively instead of Samsung. I think people should protest the double dealing of Samsung by not buying Samsung phones with Exynos chips which are simply much inferior.

  • chose.. past tense and why pleasing?

  • It's not. Quality ist really not comparable even with S7. And certainly not with S9!! Just open the Comparizon Chart!

  • The snapdragon version has better battery

  • no real issues but just wait 2 months for note 10 you will have the latest and greatest. Not series are the best Samsung produces if size and price is not an issue

  • The Exynos variant gives better battery backup and is smoother after the May security patch. Also, the camera and the fingerprint scanner have been improved.

  • Exynos or snapdragon version

  • If your need-to-upgrade is urgent, yes it is. No doubt at all.

  • Wait for note 10.

  • Dear S10 Exynos users, Do you experience any stuttering issues or lags? Is the battery life good on your devices? In my country, only the Exynos one is available and after watching some comparisons, I'm having second thoughts if I should wait for the Note 10.

  • Can i ask one question? What kind of laptop you use now? If there using apple laptop, just buy iphone xs if not please chose samsung!

  • I want my next phone a Galaxy S10 in Prism Blue, upgrade from Galaxy A5 (2016). Does it worth the upgrade?

  • Almost 3 months. Awesome experienc.

  • I rely on my S8.. I see no issues.. if I want to change I go for Samsung S10e so no need for camera to take snapshot of the moon.. or a battery that is sufficient to go to a journey without charging or internal gega for carrying laptop files inside.. it is a smartphone I use it as my second hand daily objectives not as a laptop..

  • S8 was a king is its time, but now S10 is way ahead regarding cameras, memory, screen, speakers...about everything.

  • Thanks, didnt know about that. What about sound quality? Im planning buying my s10 next week!

  • Yes, looks like the May security update is very buggy....It is better not to update until Samsung fixes it. Anyway still not available in France, maybe they delayed the launch.

  • What brand or what OS (Android or iOS) are you using now? Do you use NFC or Bluetooth often? I ask this because NFC and Bluetooth in iPhone is so exclusive for all Apple devices only (...yes it is!)

  • Two days back I updated the software. But it's showing some issues like screen getting dark and totally phone slows the functioning. So please don't update the software now. Also some more issues.

  • S8 is a king and remains like this

  • S10 all the way

  • Everywhere just give it time.

  • SAMSUNG phones camera app got a Pro mode. You can adjust the ISO manually like the Pro photographer.

  • Phone has really loud speakers...but if you want even louder, you can chose Mono for audio (Settings - Accessibility - Audio enhancement - Mono).

  • Hello, im gonna buy phone which i can use for 2 or 3 years. Would you guys recommend me iphone xs or Galaxy S10? Let me know your mind

  • Really good phone, no problem. Finger print scanner is fast after update, face unlock instantaneous, speaker super loud, great camera at night, battery ok . Only thing i miss from my S8 is notification LED...

  • which country ?

  • I have used the phones from SAMSUNG and HUAWEI. The battery life of these two brands are 99% same with my same usage pattern.

  • New update just being released includes night view.

  • The exynos chipset is not good for battery

  • Since I was about to buy Huawei P30 due to better camera and battery life plus disappointment I had with Samsung S7 disastrous bettery life I am now forced to go for Samsung S10 or maybe S10e due to known reasons. S10e is very compact for today's standards and this could be a reason to buy it. I am reading online that Samsung S10 battery is for some reason very bad compared to Huawei in general. Is this true? Also if I understand Samsung phones don't have night mode on their camera software and I have a feeling that Samsuns S10 cameras are in line with Huawei P20/P20PRO when comparing specifications. I just want the best for my money that is all and Samsung left very bad impression on me.

  • So how does your iPhone compare generally to the s10e. I'm not concerned about the battery but more about the display and general ease of every day use. I would be interested to read your comments.

  • Battery life is very less. Don’t go for s10 if ur searching for better battery life. Go for s10+. Now I changed my s10 to iPhone XR. (Because of battery life only) Don’t buy exynos, buy SD 855.

  • bad battery

  • How many hours of "active screen" has S10 battery? I am a pokemon go player and, the battery of my huawei mate 10 has 4000mAh and it works playing this game about 4 hours or more. I would like know the battery life of S10 in this cases or similar. Thank you.

  • Nice phone, good at everything...some say night mode is better with P30, but its daylight pictures are yellowish...S10 excels in every field like screen, speaker, UI, speed, cameras...love it.

  • still no May update ?

  • You can register the same finger several times...

  • What did you do to improve fingerprint recognition

  • samsung Exynos processor is not good.

  • Both are great...but the S10e is lacking in the look departement, especially for a 750 euros phone

  • Thanks for the prompt reply. Looks like I have some decisions to make although I'm not due to change for a few months. I'll try them both side by side.

  • That was what i was thinking...same screen size as my S8. Only interest for S10e would have been size, but S8 size was ok for me. So ended up buying S10 because same body size of S8 with even bigger screen. Screen is really better than S8, brighter. Screen is less curved than on S8, i like the small curve actually. Speaker louder with more bass. Same weight. Didn't like the look of S10e with bigger bezel, makes it look like a cheap phone. The face unlock works instantaneously, much better than S8. Can't find any fault at the moment. Bought green S10 for 550 euros with promotion and trade in of my S8. No regret, great phone.

  • tips like what

  • Fingerprint reader performance was not so good before..But now with time it has improved drastically. Used some tips online while registering fingerprints..Works instantaneously now.

  • Is the display very different to your old s8? I have an s8 and my next phone will either be this one or the 10e depending on how good the display is on the 10e. I like the idea of returning to a flat screen and the size is the same as my s8.

  • Just bought the phone. Coming from S8, i am impressed. Speakers are amazing, so is the screen and the cameras. Perfect for me, and 128 GB is great. Just a tat smaller would have been better (S10e feels too cheap for the price). Too bad fingerprint reader is slow, but i don't use it anyway.

  • Xx 1- turn on touch sensitivity . 2- use the normal screen protector , not the tampered glass one.

  • Worst of the latest samsungs ive owned. Fingerprint reader fails 80%, i get multiple accidental touches because of thin bezels, proximity sensor fails often, rear camera cover glass broke itself like 2 weeks after purchase. But the camera is brilliant. Waiting to exchange it for the new iphone or note 10.

  • How do I set it up? Please? I've been struggling with this whole notification thing, I mean even with the sound.. anyway thanks for your comment, hope you can help :)

  • Good video and on spot... have problems with the reception aswell and fingerprint issues

  • I don't have these problems with my S9 and neither with my friends S10.

  • If you are living in the country which has "refund policy", refund your S10 quickly. If you are living in the country which does not have "refund policy", bring your S10 to authentic Samsung Service Center. They are pleased to help with no cost as your S10 is still under warranty. If you are buying the fake S10 and you do not know it, please accept your fate.

  • Take it back. It is under warranty. Perhaps you bought a fake.

  • i think the phone is great maybe you have a fake one or you have a defective phone or you have not updated firmware or YOU dont know how to set it up

  • I bought Samsung S10 2 days before and it was my wrong choice @ Battery drain abnormally , over heat while using camera, front camera showing horizontal line and contacted live chat support @did all troubleshoot no changes happened @ this phone is wrong choice. Go for Apple or google pixel or One plus. My money gone and i recommend people who read this not to buy s10 a big failure

  • Cannot pair with car any advice? Please

  • factory reset and see if it improves. Battery on regular use will last 6-8 hours screen time, will last a day if not used much just the usual stuff

  • You need to get a new phone from them but its impossible, what you can do is ask them to send it to the service center where they can change the phone reciever, try some other samsung center not the one you go to. Where I live in north Europe we can just send the phone to the main service center by post at cost to Samsung

  • Thanks for responding. In all this while I've done a lot of research. I managed to ask someone to come with their S10 to my office. The calls went through with this S10 without any hiccups whatsoever. Also, I've been using the same network in this workplace on Mi 5 without any trouble. Also, there are many S9 and S8 users in my office. They have never had such complaints and they call on VoLTE. Also, I tried two other networks and the problem persists. Clearly, there is trouble with my phone. It is with the service centre now for diagnosis but they have been claiming that the problem lies with network in my area. At the service centre there was another customer with Note 9 who complained of similar call drops but in random locations. The service centre simply did a fresh softwareinstall and sent him back. My problem is that I will never be able to proove to them about call drops since the drops do not happen at the service centre.

  • He is right with volte calls it can be bad sound because calls over 3g are better till the operators dont improve the amount of bands. The S10 models and Note 9 has a lot of bands on offer but your operator only works on 900 or 1800 or 2100 whatever. But 3G calls work all over. I use LTE/3G/2G with volte calling off. With volte calling on data speeds are much slower

  • Best phone I've used. Fingerprint issue? No just ad same finger 3 times or something then it works alot better. Not the fastest but I use face unlock so never bothered by that.

  • I really like Samsung phones, literally all of my past phones were Samsung. But I've found some pretty harsh critiques about it online. This one right here is pretty interesting for example. Can you agree with the fingerprint issues and not so good cellphone reception when the signal is weak?

  • Its a fail! What poor battery it has. Often smells like its on fire. And then today I read that a s10 got burnt after emitting fumes. I fear mine will be next. It almost always smells like a burnt wire after medium usage. Lags a lot too. Made a poor choice, will probably upgrade to pixel 3 or XS Max and bear the loss. Sigh

  • I would like to share a peculiar trouble with my S10 that I purchased 8 days ago. At my workplace, wherein I have been working for about ten months, I am now experiencing major trouble in calling with this phone - the person at the other end is never able to hear my voice properly - in every call! But, outside of my workplace, this problem does not occur at all! Voice quality is amazing. I went to the service center. One of the representatives immediately advised a factory reset and fresh install of software from their system. I got that done, but the problem was still there. Very poor connection! I went back and another representative gave me an advice which has solved my trouble magically! Now, the call quality is back to normal just like i get outide my workplace. The advice given to me was to change the Network Mode from LTE/3G/2G to 3G/2G. He had said that this new phone has more bands than ever and that it is possible that my workplace environment does not support the new bands (sounds illogical). By the way, the signal bars still show 4G icon but not Volte/LTE like in the other network mode. (And my last phone, Mi 5, never gave me such a trouble) Although the problem was solved, but i wondered that changing the mode from LTE to 3G will have a bearing on the data speed. I used Ookla speed test to determine that and yes, there is a major difference in download speed - it is less than half in 3G/2G network mode. Can you please tell me if there is a trouble with my device harware or was the representative right?

  • Yes, that why I become from Samsung hater to Samsung not hater (but still not a lover). Just appreciate Samsung for this change.

  • Help!! P30 pro vs Mate 20 pro vs Note 9 vs S10. Im buying a phone over the weekend. Cant decide yet.

  • Samsung got much better at removing bloatware, remember the days of S3 till S5?

  • I have upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S7. This device's built quality is excellent. Camera punch hole actually doesn't bother you after a day of usage. Battery life is phenomenal. I easily get around 5 1/2 to 6 hours of screen on time. Best feature of this phone is the display quality. Samsung has definitely kept its best displays for its flagship devices. All in all I am really happy and satisfied with this device.

  • Regular S10 user here - Upgraded from an S8 and I am more than happy! The build quality is excellent, the display is fantastic and the performance is so good. For me, battery life is great - easily better than my old S8. Most nights I have around 50% battery remaining and around 3 hours of SOT, which I think is pretty good considering the screen resolution, size and capabilities of this phone. All in all, 10/10!

  • agreed

  • o yeah

  • Yes, I am having some issues with Proximity Sensor. It not quite often but it happens. To me, sometimes, when I am calling any number, it turns off the display even when it on my hand held if front of me. This is a bit annoying.

  • to have a base for comparison between phones..

  • Facebook, Microsoft Office and Samsung Galaxy store and some Samsung apps. cannot be uninstalled but it can be disabled and hidden. Other original Chinese brands cannot do uninstall, disable or even hide their apps which stick with their UI.

  • Does any one facing a proximity sensor issue on s10 ?? Any solutions??

  • I agree. They should ask us about feature comeups

  • Notificacion light is a must-have , another one that lost it, in a 1000 euro price range is way too much. Evidently those who design smartphones don't use smartphones.

  • Funny how you complain about bloat on Huawei phones but dont mention the fact that apps like Facebook cannot be removed from Samsung phones... I can do that on Huawei phones. Mistä bloat on Huawei phones can be removed.

  • Iris scanner > face recognizitio Bit slower but more secure

  • These apps for notification light are not working well. Hopefully Samsung will do it soon.

  • I have no idea why the reviewers use only the same boring places where the photos were taken? I request that you guys should take any kinds of photos instead of boring buildings. Please!

  • After 5 weeks, i can easily say this is the best phone i've ever used. Especially after using a P20 Pro for almost a year (what an awful one that was - more glitches than pickup artists at a feminist rally). But there's still one issue with the S-series phone from Samsung, especially the smaller ones: BATTERY! Please fix this, Samsung! It's infuriating having a £800 phone and not being able to get home at the end of a day without having it charged. Minimum 3800mAH next time, please!

  • Whats better mid-range phones or flagship

  • no how which app ?

  • So you still don't know that the camera circle/cut out can be used as notification light/battery indicator/camera timer? Huh

  • S10 face regtin + fingerprint vs note 9 iris scan + fingerprint Which is better?

  • They could easily hbave put the notification light in the bottom bezel, plenty of space there for a tiny Led.

  • Where do you think Samsung could have put it considering the amount of bezel on the front? Don’t you have some common sense?

  • Completely agree with you. I miss that LED light a lot. planing to switch for google pixel.

  • No Notification Light in the S series ... whaaaat ! no led light in a 900 euros phone, a cheap 2005 Nokia had it. Oh my Lord , Samsung ! Series S of Shame !

  • Not an equal comparison actually. I assume you are a budget-minded buyer, so buy OP6T.

  • This is an amazing cellphone. I upgraded from the S9. It tracks all my walking daily. I put my engineering textbooks on it. I listen to music with it in the gym, at work, and while driving in LA to my internship. The camera is amazing as always. I love doing photography and get a lot of compliments on the pictures. Samsung also gave me a free case, galaxy buds, and 128 gb sim card when I ordered it. My only issue with this phone is battery life. The S9 after the ONE UI update gave me 27 hours battery life and with this one I'm getting ~22. But besides, that this is an excellent cellphone. I can't to see next year's model!

  • Guys any opinion Should I go to buy this S10 or better OP6T?

  • If you are buying only for camera you can go Huawei. Perfomance, security, good camera lenses & best picture quality you can go samsung s series. S10 is the worlds fisrt HDR10+ certified mobile.

  • Yes u r right.I aq m also facing same problem.

  • Did someone know when Good Lock will be available in Belgium ?

  • Apple and Samsung always have better resale value. But Samsung reale value isn't as great as before. Even for brand new S10 the current market value is about SGD940 here in Singapore as compared to buying from official Samsung store, which cost $1100 ++

  • Guys, to get Galaxy S10 for cheapest rate reliably, go to Amazon, search a variant of S10 and choose "Without offers"... This way you can get S10 for Rs. 60,650 or so for Blue color, and similar prices for other variants/ colors. I hope this helps you.

  • But brother in real world samsung have brand value. Every one chage handset after some time and samsung gives us better resale value in offline and online. Huawei make good phones but no resale value in india

  • Bought samsung s10 2 days ago, Selfie camera is worst similar to oppo vivo beauty mode no clear image, battery drains fast can last for 6 hours and how can i share my power to others if it's insufficient for me itself😂😂, can't understand the funda of 3 camera 1 is wide 2 is ultra wide and 3 is telephoto, but when i put finger on each camera only 2 camera gets covered and 1 telephoto is as it is, hardware is awesome but heats up fast, no lag, display is awesome, rear camera is wonderful, built quality makes me feel premium, live focus sucks. Samsung has disappointed this time lets see does fixes all issues in next update

  • Who cares? Huawei's EMUI is painful; clunky, full of bloat. Plus they crash and have plenty of glitches. 6 months with the P20 Pro was enough for me - will never purchase that brand again.

  • Try re-starting your phone.

  • Security face recognition issues + finger sensor doesn’t always recognize my thumb + Android auto does always start + can’t configure outlook. This phone is a total crap unless you want use to take nice pictures

  • The build is great when you have it naked. Heats up pretty fast when you're watching some videos, downloading a few apps or just playing simple games.

  • 1080p@240fps, this means 1080p cant be recorded using lower fps?

  • I am an old android user, and this OS infatuated me, but in android Pie OS, you can't save calls and also I've heard that secure folder (KNOX Replacement) is not added due to some international rules.. IDK.. moreover I've used a lil Samsung S10 I think it is very similar to S9.. what's happening.. I think I am going to change my preferences..

  • Good luck with overheating

  • Mediocre battery life especially for a flagship

  • you can use the circle around the front camera punch hole to make it notification led with the 3rd app. It's so cool. Try to find the video on yt.

  • i bought s10 in preorder. i am facing battery drainage problem. phone getting hot frequently. battery drainage exp id i charge to 100 then if i start to use in 10 minutes it sropa to 97..then drains 1 percent evey 2 to 3 mins. anyone can help? are u guys having the same problem?

  • Anyone else having fingerprint not working after the last update???

  • 5. In 1hour, battery is 100% full on the #Huawei_P30_pro and easily takes you through two days usage, when is this awesome battery life coming to #Samsung?

  • You're very funny my beother. If it were 5, 10 years ago, like I would totally agree with you here, but not this time. Samsung has the Tech, it's true, but they are confused as to what we the users want. They design any shit anyhow and yet because of their branding, some people just close their eyes and follow them. I am human, and so far as smartphones are concerned, in this time to be precise, #samsung is no go area. Lemme tell you why I prefer #Huawei P30 pro to #Samsung S10plus 1. Battery life(Unbeatable) 2. Long-term interface-smooth experience 3. Very dynamic camera system 4. Performance( still beats the 10plus in speedtests even with this old #Kirin_980_chipset), sorry samsung The only part where #Samsung shines is their Front Facing Cameras. That's all. Every other feature gets old in months of usage.

  • You should bold the DEX functionality, as it is a shining feature that's underrated and underapreciated

  • If u need handy camera go for P30 huawei, BUT for other specification usage I preffer samsung , specially on video stability huawei blurry unlike samsung.

  • go for p30

  • What kind of problem do you have?

  • How to activate it?

  • I’m fine with both Android and iOS, am a user for both OS, past and present. I’m currently using iPhone XR and I’ve just bought an S10. Still contemplating if I should hop over to the S10. I have a Macbook, where by using the XR would be more convenient.

  • Samsung Is Undoubtedly High Functioning Affordable Phone Than Any Smart Phone. If Anyone Plans To Buy A Smartphone Other Than Samsung, Then They Chose The Wrong Way.

  • Your main priorities say: Buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro or P30 Pro or wait for Mate 30 Pro. Samsung is not good for your priorities, Samsung is olny good for its User Interface (i.e. begin from Samsung Experience UI 9.0, not TouchWiz).

  • Why did you write such your opinion here then? And please buy Huawei P30 Pro indeed, it will satisfy you surely. Or wait for Huawei Mate 30 Pro soon.

  • I am dissapointed with this 6.1' small screen and this punch hole. I was expecting hole-free screen. Especially for this price and a flagship series. I am looking for a phone with big sturdy screen without cameras on it, waterproof and with good battery life, is it that difficult to produce such Samsung? And remuving led notification is a very bad move! I am in a desperate need for a new phone, but this one won't take my money, niether S10+ he is even worse with his wide punch hole. Crazy ugly. I prefer to stick to my low budget Huawei I am using now, than to waste my money on this ridiculous full with bugs S-series. Deeply dissapointed from you Samsung!

  • Which on is better - the regular galaxy S10 (exynos version) or Huawei mate 20 pro? My main priority is the camera, battery life and performance

  • Its happening on my S10+ too that I bought 5 days ago.

  • Hi, Pls let me know about battery. While charged 100% battery it reduced to 98% with in 10 to 15 mins without any usage. (Not even screen wake up) It's nornal for S10 or battery issue?

  • Nothing is problem-free. But in many cases, Samsung User Interface (i.e. Samsung software in your word) wins over any Chinese brands of User Interface in this Android world. Of course, native Android is always number one. That why I change myself from Samsung hater all the time to Samsung not hater but not lover. I still hate Samsung for their overpriced phones.

  • use edge notification, it's better

  • All of Huawei smartphones share the same cheap materials like horrible audio quality and cheap mic and the lack of 4k 60 fps video recording and the inferior Kirin 980 chipset so nothing has changed in the p30 pro except some changes to the cameras and I wouldn't buy a smartphone just for the camera, I want an overall package, great screen, stellar audio quality, snappy chipset and the S10 delivers.

  • In my country S10+ price is about 1050 EUR which matches here. But S10 price is 954 EUR which does not match here.

  • Hi Samsung, Samsung's flagship series lovers are crying like wounded lion just to tell u why you abandon Light notification in S10 variants. Please pay attention and include it in next update

  • the led is around the front camera, you just need to activate it.

  • He / she is asking about the HUAWEI P30 Pro and P30, not Mate20 Pro. SAMSUNG S10 also has a lot of problems especially the software.

  • S7 is a very old device by Samsung and they improved a lot since then. Have you tried the mate 20 pro? It take good pictures yes but video quality is terrible especially from the front facing cam and the mic quality is horrible and I sounded like a robot and the speakers quality is also bad, screen has problems etc. Galaxy S10 has the best screen, performance, design and it takes good enough pictures and it's a much better overall package.

  • I got camera problem in my s10 no respone from care they r asking shake your phone and use camera please don.t buy samsung

  • I believe that the body dimension of the HUAWEI P30 Pro is almost the same with SAMSUNG S10. Not too big for you if you can accept S10. In my opinion, from S8 to S10, SAMSUNG never upgrade the mega pixels of the S series, but just add one or two more camera sensors to it only. But the selling price for S8 to S10 is more and more expensive in many countries.

  • Not sure which one to take. Samsung S10 or Huaweo P30? Huawei P30 doesn't have IP68 and that is the main problem. Huawei P30 PRO is to big for me so that is not an option. From what I know Huawei cameras are superb and I don't think Samsung S10 camera are in the same league as Huawei P30 series, also I had very bad experience with Samsung S7 battery life. Generally I have a feeling that Samsung batteries are not the best or almost disaster. Maybe to wait P30 review and to decide?

  • I agree that this is a very strange omission. A quick glance at the LED is all that's needed to advise that charging has been completed without needing to switch on the phone and read the battery icon. Small things also matter Samsung. They make the phone complete.

  • mind you the s10 active already came out in 1998

  • I am really enjoying my galaxy s10. Thanks Samsung for an Awesome phone!

  • Yes

  • read the specs

  • Updated from S9. As a vloger, I especially love the camera/video. Stabilization quality and the color is just so much better. Other than that, the punch hole does not really bother me (better than stupid notch design) and great job on battery life as well.

  • is this water proof or not samsung s10

  • That is why I need bezel where all sensors, including notif.light, are in.

  • I agree, I miss LED also and miss 3D home button, dont like two touch(twice) screen wake up! Plus camera location sucks, ABORE on the RIGHT from camera screen is useless!!!

  • I have note 9 and got from my work s10 Nice gaged but with very bad fingerprint sensor. A lot of noise about new way for scanner and in reality extremely bad. Sorry for bad English, it’s not main language in Belgium

  • Stop with the update paranoia

  • Dear Samsung, Samsung Galaxy S10 launched without light LED notification. Without such feature, flagship may be called "Samsung ship without Flag". Hurry up Samsung before getting too late to loose your fans.

  • Regretted to intimate that Samsung Galaxy S10 serie has been launched abandoning features by which flagship was popular among galaxy fans. May I remind and request to include in the OTA update. The apps are Light LED notification, Auto call recorder and Answering machine.

  • yes got it with camera improvement as 1 feature mentioned

  • Your first problem is somehow related to whatsapp i think. Because both my father's Note 5 pro and my iPhone 8 plus too sometimes wont show incoming whatsapp video calls when screen is locked.

  • Just like in the car industry, they always say there is no replacement for displacement, If you need more battery life get a phone with mote than 6000mAh and less power hungry processors like mediatek ... SD is powerful processors and there is no amount of saving you can do

  • I purchased the S10 and found that download mode does not work what solution? Does anyone encounter this problem

  • S available

  • Not yet

  • Sure it does:D The non sense edge screen causes the screen go haywire while holding the phone in your hand because your fingertips touching the screen. Oh and, the summer times are a nightmare because of sweating which causing the screen go completely absolution of the haywire:D

  • has the march security update come ?

  • I purchased the S10 and found that download mode does not work what solution? Does anyone encounter this problem

  • Best smartphone on the market!

  • My s10 works just fine nohting wrong with it but the customerservice from samsung here in the nordic countries is a nigthmare you becourse today i send them a e-mail and called them about that campaign about the earbuds and no no one answer me i tryed also via samsung members but nothing really works i have to say that theire customer service is a nigtmare here samsung you should work on so that customers get better service

  • Excellent device except battery.Battery draining is very fast and over heating when using internet.

  • Me too

  • I use S10 and this phone can't show contact parson picture on resent call list for first time. Battery goes down 8% in a hour when also i not use this phone. Bluetooth not work properly with another company gear watch.

  • I think it's a joke.

  • Not the phone for me. Just traded in the Note 9 for an S10, and the touch screen experience seems to have dimished a notch or two from what I was enjoying with the Note 9 (butter smooth). The S10 screen is uncomfortably hyper-reactive while the fingerprint scanner is even less reliable than an older Blu Vivo 8 which I still have. The audio (speaker and ear piece) for phone conversations on the S10 is also not on par with what I've enjoyed with the Note 9. Bottom line, I'll be returning this S10 unit and going on a hunt for a cell phone that truly warrants the asking price, because IMO the S10 certainly does not.

  • How to extend super slow motion recording time ?

  • Thank u

  • its normal 5 hours all the time screen on, the battery needs to be charged. Note 9 is no better

  • what is paper protector ?

  • use glimpse notification app it will sort this lock screen notification problem.

  • What is the TIME LIMIT in 4k 30fps video recording? Can this limit be removed?

  • Samsung s10 Edge lighting is not supporting messenger :( I hate to always on display, we need led notification.

  • For the selfie - Camera settings - Save options - Pictures as preview

  • Hi there, I need 2 solutions for my galaxy S10. 1. When my phone is locked alert not came for WhatsApp video call. ( pls refer the option ) 2. While taking selfie it shows mirrored image, is there any option is there to change normal image?

  • Don't use glass protector use paper protector

  • iphone8 is now 2 years old as well as being a much smaller phone.

  • If you use your phone 4/5 hrs a day with screen on you obviously got issues man

  • They are not comparable, Android vs iOS...well at least for me, they are different but not comparable.

  • if you want to be controlled by Apple get iphone8, if you are democratic get S10

  • Get the S10. I've used it enough to say it's one of the best phones out there. Cheers!

  • You need to reprogram your fingerprint with the glass screen protector on

  • Iphone 8 or s10. Give me some suggestion. Thank you

  • Power n fingerprint in the back is best. U r not used to it. All phones copy lg. It saves space from front u ignorant

  • There has been no software update till now the phone is a month old. They will iron out the bugs with the March security update. Wait ! Never preorder or get in the first batch if you want no bugs. Its with all phones.

  • 3. generation in a row which sucks. s8 was unusable due to terribly placed fingerprint reader. s9 still had fingerprint in the back, who wants it? s10 has some terrible hole in the display, seriously? i don't want that at all. i bought 6T, saw the hole (one of the smallest in the industry), and returned it back. waiting for s11, hoping this time they stuff front cameras in the bezel. i don't need display to be 100% or more of the body. just stop it already, manufacturers!

  • The image quality is not that impressive in low light... Video is very hazy in low light,Will it get any software updates? I am using it for 3 days, low light photography is not that good.

  • Indians... if you want to get S10, the first discount is already here! On Flipkart, the prism black variant 128GB is now available for Rs. 62200, approx saving of Rs. 3500. I hope this info helps you get your dream phone!

  • the problem is with qualacom firmware not on enyxos

  • I have my s10 the regulaire one since a few days and i hade some issues and bugs here and theire specially with the fingerprint scanner which is under the display and theire came an update but it did nt fixes the problem with the fingerprintscanners. That shoulnt happen to such an expensive device. After that i copie all my apps and files on my laptop via smart switch and did a factoryreset and look after that the fingerprintscanners works excellent relaible and all bugs are gone and my s10 is now very smoth when opening and closing apps rammanagement is also much better batterylife has also got a boost the phone overall is now the way i want it the have.

  • I'm having an issue. My screen doesn't wake up on Whastapp call and there is no edge lighting when screen is off. Any solution ?

  • No march security updates or improvements as yet. Note 8, 9 have got it, why is Samsung so slow always

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 users have started complaining about a bug in the phone’s software that is causing their batteries to drain faster. It’s only been a few days since Samsung launched its new Galaxy S10 and according to a new report the smartphone has already encountered a bug that dramatically drains the phone’s battery. One Samsung Galaxy S10 owner wrote on Reddit, “I have an S10, and I keep my phone in my pocket with the screen towards my leg (since my leg is far less likely to damage the screen). The only issue with this is that I started feeling the “fingerprint rejected” vibrations while the phone was in my pocket”. The issue also seems to activate the camera function which in turn triggers a number of sensors used by the camera app as the phone believes it is operating in low-light conditions. That is another cause of battery drainage. Another user on Samsung’s US Community Forum cited a complaint that “First thing I did was activate tap to wake, I have never seen this in a Samsung phone before. Now I have the newest that Samsung has to offer and it does not work properly. My leg through my fabric taps the phone and opens it up”. For now, it appears that the issue does not seem to be affecting everyone. The reports about the issue are coming from the users who live in the US, which indicates that the problem might only be in the region’s firmware. Whatever the case is, Samsung should fix the issue quickly by a software update. Samsung launched its Galaxy S10 a few days ago on 8th March, but the pre-order numbers on the first day in its home market, South Korea failed to impress the observers. With the news about the bug in the phone’s software coming in the early days, it might affect further sales of Galaxy S10 as well.

  • no its not the screen eats it all, thus S10e has better battery life.

  • It seems that 3,400 mAh battery is not good enough to sustain the specs of S10, so Samsung has to optimize the software via update to make this very good phone last a decent battery life.

  • Powerbank is your solution, or trade your phone to Galaxy Note 9 or Galaxy A50 which have much better battery life. Or wait 5 more months for Note 10 which perhaps has a good battery life.

  • The main camera has 12MP! It's the ultra wide cam that has 16MP... You can see it in the specs

  • Im disappointed with battery life, i can get 4h/5h screen time.

  • Clearly you don't know anything about the camera. It's not about the MP. It's about the sensors. The software. The rendering. Don't comment such things if you don't know anything.

  • Hey guys, how much of a difference does it make between the SD variant and the Exynos in terms of speed, day to day usage, and future proofing

  • Is the american verdion (the one with FM radio) also dual Sim? Is the FM radio activable in the european version? thanks

  • Thanks for reply.. I m form India. I heard that here jio telecom company is likely to start 5g network in 2020. As per my experience, 4g when launched by this company, there comes revolution in telecom market here.. So i m in doubt to purchase this mobile or wait for 5g model to release by samsung.

  • Your call. Everything is a compromise.

  • what year is it? oh wow 2019 this MP stuff need to end

  • nah, exynos 9820 isn't suck mali gpu is suck af

  • finger print scanner not workin after using a glass screen protecter

  • Forget 5G for now there is no point for the next 2 years atleast. There is nobody offering it now as operators with a large scale operation. So atleast 3 years from now before it make sense to buy a 5G phone and S10 5G will be so old by then

  • well it comes with a preinstalled TPU/Hydogel film and a back case should be good if one can handle it that way. But hurts when the screen gets scratched or breaks.

  • We pre-ordered the new s10 devices here in Nigeria, and up until now, we have not gotten the phone nor the ear buds, they keep postponing weekly with no official communication from Samsung, this is the worst experience so far from Samsung, we expected more, this can not be done in other developed countries, GSMarena, kindly help if you can.

  • Agree but the only alternative is to have no protection and risk dropping the phone. Damned if you do damned if you don't.

  • It's not good as per the price am already s9+ user I dnt like my phone also lost my money

  • MP of camera is not the only specification whether the camera is good or not. Software can be used to make photo look of better.

  • Just looked at specs of this phone 16MP camera... Really??? same as the......S6!!!

  • 5G is the MAIN DEAL to satisfy you in the next 4-5 years that you want. If you need it so bad, then be patient for it to come. I'm sure not only SAMSUNG is working for it. So wait a while and you may even get another launched device with better SPECS and FEATURES like improved BATTERY LIFE. But you can also buy this one for now, and keep it well protected so you make a TRADE-IN when the 5G phones come out later.

  • The phone comes preinstalled with a film so besides the FPS not working with tempered glass there is no need for any front protection. A back cover is recommended. It has gorilla glass 6 which should save it from drops.

  • 5G will not be really powerful over the next 3 years very few locations will have it, you will change from 4g to 5g in the year 2022 not before

  • I set the display in 3040x1440, but it did not cover the whole screen. Is that normal?

  • Hi can u compare SD855 and exynos 9820 version in term of battery life and also temperature when gaming???i heard most of reviews and users said the SD855 version is having much battery life than exynos 9820 and also better temperature control...why...unfair for whos country having only the exynos version of s10

  • between s10...mi 9.....vivo iqoo i choose vivo i like it✓

  • You CANNOT uninstall facebook, even though you paid nearly 1000usd for this phone! thats what i call scam.

  • S10 5G is very bif 6.7 inch you should wait for 2020

  • i wanted to purchase this device as i love the look, display & camera but the feeling of coming 5g in next year makes me stop purchasing it. if i purchase this one than i cant change my phone to another 4-5 years so in doubt to purchase this phone or wait for s10 5g to release....

  • This phone is great. Traded in my s9 plus for it and the main selling points for me are the wide angle camera and the battery life is better than the s9 plus. I'm happy with my decision

  • Just got mine yesterday on vodacom contract at R650 pm...no complaints man this phone is super fast....game machine

  • correct but its crap to use that kind of cover especially when using the camera. Clumsy option. But many use it.

  • Ideally you should get a good book-type protective cover for your phone. A cover will protect it from accidental drops and you would not need a screen protector. You can then enjoy the screen as it should be.

  • I'm not seeing any of those issues with my Snapdragon S10.

  • The fm radio only works in Canada and USA? ??????

  • thats where it is the PROBLEM as its a hydrogel/thin tpu/gel film. Till now there is no screen tempered glass protector which is good. Whitestone is expensive the only one which works with fingerprint sensor. Its gorilla glass 6 but will it prevent scratches if no protector is there ?

  • You are right about the display. It's not as vibrant. I've tried to change all settings and it's still dull and washed out looking. Hope they fix this.

  • Haha chinese paid troll there! Nobody want your huawei crap. And say kirin is better than 855 or latest exynos aahahahahah good joke.

  • Hi. Used these phone almos one week. Have dual sim card model. Fast phone. Good display. Good camera (like the wide, normal, and zoom mode). Battery.. yes it is a bit drain faster(approximately after lunch time battery level would hit 20% or something. Woukd be goof with 5.000 mah, bht i dont thnik size would be the same. Anyway fast charge fitur work well, only need 1 hour to fully recharge (use qc 2.0). I also use powerbank with qc 2.0 Well qc 2.0 is not the most updated, anyway it is work well. So far so good. Compareable with Huawei? Well that also good phone, but different. So just use phone that suit your need, taste, and price budget.

  • Hey Guys. I just bought S10 a few days ago. No doubt it's a great phone but I have started to face some issues which are quite irritating. The most irritating issue is that the screen turns on and it starts to function itself when it's in my pocket. I've tried to change the settings but nothing works. It works only if you turn off the double tap to wake and AOD. If you can't use these features then what's the point of giving them. Secondly, the notification light. The notification light is a concern for me as I used to judge my notifications with the color of notification lights. Now it's not there anymore. Thirdly, I'm not sure why but my S9 has more vibrant colors than the S10. I've compared them side by side and I could see a clear difference. I've tired to change the color settings to vivid but still doesn't helps. Even I've compared their cameras. The shocking part was when I compared them in my room, the yellow lights turn more into greenish on my S10. My S9 keeps it yellow. The last one is the front camera live focus. If you select other options like zoom and the one ones, they lag a lotttttt. You guys might not notice these or you might not have all these issues in your phone, but these are the issues that I'm facing. Please let me know if any of you face any of these issues. Thanks

  • Best phone i have ever used - excels at everything. Except battery. I'm getting fed up with Samsung not sorting this. I know the S10 Plus has decent battery, but their smaller models always suffer. I've optimised the phone, taken off all advanced features i don't use, removed bixby screen, even went as far as to using HD+ only and the dark theme (which i actually enjoy), yet it doesn't last throughout the whole day. This phone should've had a minimum 3800mAh on the battery. Battery alone is what will kill Samsung in the future - i know so many people who were eager to move to this from Apple, etc and are now slightly disappointed that Samsung has almost as bad a battery as Apple. Just fix that! Display: 10/10 ONE UI: 9/10 Camera: 10/10 Design: 10/10 Battery: 5/10 Performance: 10/10

  • Well you must be curious about this phone because you're here commenting.

  • I've already spoke to Samsung, a technician went through all of the settings, wiped the cache. And I did a factory reset.don't ever remember seeing any Samsung with double tap to wake. The one time they put it in a phone, they mess it up.

  • Unfortunately it wakes up in your pocket by tapping your leg. I'm really unhappy about this

  • Next year will be Samsung S11, you should buy the new one

  • I am planing to buy this phone next year after price camedown should i do it?

  • Dont know if people with the S10 have noticed when they say the display is crap but it has a bad quality screen protector on which might be why display is bad

  • lg v40 is better and cheaper , lg v40 has 32 bit HI FI DAC, 3D stereo sound

  • Samsung still doesn't manage it to lower screen flickering. Feels like a TV set from the 90s. The A models are better actually.

  • no

  • Samsung batteries sucks i got a J200f but i hate its battery improve on that.

  • Which is better to buy LG V40 or S10 as I am looking for ultra wide camera angles which one does better ??

  • Same problem here. This problem also drains battery waking up the screen in your pocket. Hope Samsung fix it soon!

  • No matter how good is your phone, without a good battery life, it's frustatting !

  • The S10 has double tap to wake

  • Samsung S10 not has led notification

  • Thank you Samsung for keeping the headphone jack.

  • lg v30 best feature is double tap. Only reason why i'm sticking to lg.

  • Does it have led notification light as on s9?

  • My S10 has only 6h screen on time and amoled has washed colors my old note 4 has better screen. I am dissapointed

  • lg g7 has 6.1 inch lcd screen and 3000mah battery , on gsmareena test g7 has 77h s10 has 6.1 amoled screen and 3400 mah battery , on gsmareena test has 79h samsung s10 has horrible battery life and bad battery optimizations ,samsung has only marketing

  • I am using s10 now from 8 days.. All is well but battery life is very less. Maximum 16 to 18 hours even on power saving mode is on. Especially battery drain fast during idle mode. Samsung should fix that issue by update.

  • iPhones are just way better. No matter how many upgrades the galaxy models have, the software can ever compare to IOS in any iOS device. Specs are just gimmicks! Best camera best phone user experience, best everything all way around with always be with Apple products and not to mention that they will never give support to their customers as apple does.

  • Earlier people complain about notch. Now with Galaxy S10 series owners playing with new wallpapers. Welcome to Galaxy Read your user manual because One UI is customisable it is much better than Stock Android

  • again ugly washed colors

  • I just made the switch from pixel3xl with which I had many problems. I am a first time Samsung user. I couldn't be happier. This phone is fantastic. Fast, easy to hold and just everything a premium phone should be. I have had if two days and so far no issues with battery. The display is beautiful and I don't notice the cutout anymore, especially with the R2D2 wallpaper.

  • If you can't afford why are mocking ? Everyone cannot buy Rolls Royce it does not mean it is a joke. The device which you are talking is Galaxy S10+ and that is 8GB RAM and 512GB storage Mate 20 Pro is just 128 GB. There are some other reason that Galaxy S10+ is better than Mate 20 Pro. And one more thing this is comment section of Galaxy S10 not S10+

  • This phone is a joke ! The price is terrible (1749$ I'm CA) For 500$ less you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 pro: Charging is more than twice faster CPU is better (7 nm vs 8 nm) Battery last 2 days min. (4500 vs 3400) Camera is better (Leica lens vs crap no name lens + You get all the same features. + Mate 20 pro is 6 months older !

  • GSMAreana tests the Exynos version which is known to have bad battery life.

  • unlocked from which country

  • see your settingsand put APPS to sleep always. You will find the setting

  • Does it have very low free RAM like S9?

  • I got unlocked S10 from Samsung a couple of days ago. Data services don't work on AT&T even after configuring APN per documentation. (no internet when not wifi connected) Anyone else in this situation.

  • lg g8 has 3500mah batery and better battery life , lg is better optimized than samsung

  • I received my s10 two days back..except battery life, everything is excellent. Getting only 18 hours...even In idle condition battery draining drastically

  • Great phone but I can't use the most useful feature!!!! Double tap to wake opens phone in pocket!!Pisses me off. They got rid of the pressure sensitive home button so no go.this is the very first time they have put a double tap to wake feature on any of their phones, and they messed it up. The accidental touch prevention does not work in the pocket either. It's supposed to sense when it's in your pocket or somewhere dark like a purse or something. I need to fix this. I spent a long time with Samsung care and they told me to wipe the cache, go to safety mode, all that stuff and nothing worked. I'm very mad. Beware you guys it will open up in your pocket with double tap to wake.

  • So uncertain, S10 or S10+..

  • I have the phone got it yesterday the battery is ok. All depends on your usage/setttings

  • there is no issue with battery. In INdia all phones have battery issues as the signal fluctuates so much. If you will use the wide lens then buy it BUT anyway its way better than the 1+6T

  • Exynos version is having poor battery itseems? An Indian trusted reviewer had stated that battery back up was not to the par. So can someone give honest opinion and how fair it will be if I upgrade from Op6T for wide lense camera??

  • Battery life is quite poor. Note 8 (which itself is not a battery champion) has 89 hours with a tad smaller battery and bigger screen. I don't know how Samsung managed to get noticeable worse battery life out of S10. Shame on Samsung.

  • dont because this feature you miss will never come back just get used to it. Activate double tab SO tap screen 2 times to open if you dont use fingerprint

  • No led indicator while charging, otherwise good

  • Super phone in all sense. Battery backup satisfactory. Camera very useful type. Good buy.

  • I got my s10 bout three days ago and I love it heaps it is a very great phone I have left Apple for Samsung for good s10 has great features and I do not regret swapping from iPhone to s10

  • Why I can not record video with ultra wide lens?

  • Also back video does not support ultra wide recording, only to take photos. I would not say its a big improvement over s9

  • Be patience it's a excellent device, you need some days to familiar with samsung s10 it's a worthy upgrade against Samsung s9 specifically low light shots and live focus..

  • Got it today. Already missing front LED and 3D touch home button! Only like wide angle lens. Should I return it or not and come back to S9? Please help!!!

  • Finally I received my Samsung s10 pre order...a great upgrade from s9

  • I almost ordered this one. I switched to S10+ for the poor S10 battery. Lower even than S8. They should have put at least 3700MAh in S10. I was so angry with Samsung that I almost give up on S10 for this reason. There are a lot of people that give up for good. Samsung lost some clients for this.

  • The review clearly mentions that loudness is "well above average" in both cases. So, you're good to go. The only figure to have taken a bigger hit is the stereo crosstalk it seems. And such little hit doesn't matter much honestly.

  • Sadly, with entire S10 series, the selfie quality has been compromised. The pixel size is down to 1.22um instead of 1.4, and the aperture is down to f/1.9 instead of f/1.7. Dynamic range is down as a result of this change. Why Samsung? Does stabilised "4K selfie video" matter to so many people? Or maybe you create this phone for content creators or Youtubers only, is it?

  • FM radio (USA & Canada only) = I am from Europe, then I don't buy this phone.

  • My note 9 4000 is not enough need to charge it every 18 hours

  • The S10 is pretty loud!

  • apple succeeded in eliminating the chin.the s10 would have been a perfect design if it didnt have a thin chin.

  • I might be giving this a miss then, battery life is one of the main things I look for.

  • Can anyone please tell me about the sound volume from the 3.5 jack? Is it loud enough or is it subdued like most android phones bar the htc? It is really important for me that the sound from the headphones would be really loud. In the gsmarena review they say that the sound from the 3.5 jack of the s10+ is excellent loudness but unfortunately they didn't extensively review the regular s10

  • They shoul have put a 3700-3800 MAh in it It would have been great

  • The worst battery life of the Galaxy S10 range. Average usage should get you through the day but heavy usage your probably gonna need a charge by teatime. Dread to think how long it lasts if you use the reverse charging and have the always on display on.

  • hi! just wanna confirm if the s10 uses the standard main camera for portrait shots rather than the telephoto camera before? if this is true then it sucks. portrait should be 35mm-52mm focal length. this will be a deal breaker for me :\

  • the battery life is one day no more with normal use

  • Yes, me too, Full Package in SMALL Body.

  • Hi Joe perhaps mine is bulky because I have wallet type protective case on it. For me it is big enough but we are all different and what suits one person may not suit another. Just so long as we all respect and accept each others opinion.

  • 1000 dollars for a phone...more than my new 16 GB / 1TB SSD laptop...when a 400 dollars phone is more than enough in every aspect. I always buy the flagship from last year at half price, now time to buy S9 !

  • Can we please have a review on this beautiful gadget? it really looks awesome and the specs are cool

  • it is funny that just a few yaers ago 6" would have been the bigger display, and now, that thay packed it in such a sweet body they are looking for even bigger bodys. I am a hard hard user but I will buy the S10 . My only concern is battery life, but I have wireless charging on my desk, in my car ... I think I'll manageit. If not I'll return it. But from Galaxy S4 I've been waiting for this FULL package in SMALL BOBDY

  • guys its so disappointed to see all reviews focusing on the s10+ only and no one mention the perfect size s10 , i myself was looking for battery test as this is my main concern with the normal s10 , but end up hopeless and order it myself , hope the battery is onbar/near the s10+

  • No way it uas 6 GB ram unless you are talking about s10e. All of them has 8GB ram but the e model

  • After 3 days of use Well, i still dont know why all reviews are just for the plus model. The regular one is better than the s9 and s8 in all ways. Battery is good and solid, cameras are fantastic specially the selfie one ... Finally samsung is back. The finger print needs to be press a little harder i have no idea why maybe because of the screen protector ( it comes with pre installed screen protector ) Speakers are very load !! I use 2 sim , one for data 4g and the other for call and i have now SOT just below 7 hrs Hope this will help u make ur purchase

  • It has, confirm

  • If u like it just buy it. I have it now for 3 days and it is awesome Dont see who talk without using it. It is fantastic ,, right size , and a good phone for the next 2 years

  • Guys, the specs don't mention it, but I hope the S10 has USB OTG?

  • True

  • again quick charge 2.0 . it should had come with Q.C 4.0 . 18 w to old technology

  • I just checked in the Samsung store here, in Australia, the S10 and S10+ comes with 6GB and 8GB variants. So, 128GB model has 6GB RAM and 512GB model has 8GB RAM.

  • in video they said 79h for S10

  • Planning to get S10 now. want to buy it?

  • Please write how you are holding the battery in s10

  • Thank you

  • By the way, in my country the price of this is 853 USD

  • I have that phone for 2 days now and let me tell you ot is fantastic! I have the exynos not SD as my country only has this one. But guess what , it is fantastic so dont be fooled by this,,, all of them is good as we are all normal user not a math freak. I dont know why most tech never talk , or review the regular model not the plus but dont worry i have the regular one. Battery: after the 3rd cycle is good. Now i am talikng to you and my SOT is 1 hrs and 3 min ... The battery now is 91% ... I think is is learning my use. Size, is perfect !!! And it is realy fantastic Front cam, has group selfie and that mean wide camera so u have wide angle selfie dont worry... And i dont mean panorama i mean realy wide angle Charging speed is famtastic dont see the numbers , i charge it from 25 to 100 in 50 min. Stand buy is fantastic , i had it last night on 91% and after i woke up it was 88 which is good Speaker are damn good The phone is fantastic so dont be fooled if you are affraid buying it ... I am talking to those who are going to buy not promoting Thank you

  • Ok after i use this phone for 2 days, let me tell you what i think First of all , i have no idea why most tech people just talk about the plus and never foe regular... That is really annoying since i had the regular and i wanted to know about it before i buy it .... But it is fine i bought it already. Anyway, i have the exynos not SD and i am telling you dont look at numbers it is good, really good. My experience

  • The front camera looks quite small and nice in preview, but the reality is nasty because of large black holes

  • So why bother. Go buy your vivo or oppo ot One+ etc, and let the rest of us to be "fooled" with Samsungs, Huaweis and Iphones

  • 8 GB is overkill...most people use their phone just to play Candy Crush...It is all about marketing.

  • How can you spend 900 euros on a phone which will lose half its price in 1 year ?...For example, Vivo V15 pro is only 400 euros, with about the same or even better specs...6GB/128GB 32 Mp motorized selfie camera, 48 Mp main camera, under display scanner...Samsung prices are so outrageous it is no wonder people are switching to other brands.

  • And my v30 is also bigger than your s8 and I have no problem at all fitting it in my pocket.

  • I carry my LG v30 in my pocket and sometimes it's so lightweight that I forget it's there and get worried thinking I left it somewhere.

  • For goodness sake how fast do you need. Is a fraction of a second going to make any difference to anyone. Some people will never be satisfied no matter what. You are like school children arguing over mine is better than yours.

  • I'm not telling you which part of my body is tiny...lol. But seriously when you carry your phone in your pocket it's surprising what difference a little extra weight can make. Some of my pockets are not very deep and my s8 only just fits without falling out.

  • Go 10E although no idea what battery life is like.

  • Or y'know, you just have tiny hands. What you're too weak to literally only lift a few more ounces?

  • Yes

  • Are you from the Philippines?

  • first benchmark results LG G8 has over 368 000 antutu score for pre-production model without final software

  • so the users should complain to samsung for this issue. this is not fair

  • Can Wireless PowerShare (Qi charging) be disabled in options?

  • Haha yes they crying for SD 855 as they will use it to make a niculer tests haha

  • The problem is that this phone costs almost 1000 euro and Exynos 9820 is -if any- only slightly faster than Snapdragon 845. Samsung already has a reputation of lagging phones...

  • I dont understand why most people talk about processors as if they use oracle in the phone. Even SD 660 can run games fine. If u buy s10 in either of these processors you will be happy. U think exynos is slow compared to sd 855, yet it is faster than sd 845. And guess what, 845 is more than enough for a very very very very heavy user such as people who run huge edit programs to their phone, so what about normal user like us? Think good and dont let tech compare fool you

  • No need. I have regular s10 for a 24 hrs now Exo not SD. The battery is average. U can expext 5 hrs SOT. But maybe i need to use it more as still learning my usage and dont forget i had to download my apps and set up the phone.

  • No need. I have regular s10 for a 24 hrs now Exo not SD. The battery is average. U can expext 5 hrs SOT. But maybe i need to use it more as still learning my usage and dont forget i had to download my apps and set up the phone.

  • ?

  • I saw Gsmarena numbers.... Just that

  • Have you used the phone already? Do you have a proof that the S10 really has poor battery life? Or you just based it on the numbers?

  • I agree, for such an expensive phone, this is not acceptable It is also part of the reason why I went with XZ3 instead of Note9, because Exynos 9810 is lagging behind Snapdragon 845 aswell.

  • S10+ ACCETABLE battery life, S10 poor poor battery life. I wanted S10, now I think weather to accept a bigger phone or a weaker battery

  • Why they give only 15w fast charging in s9 model they gave 18w charger

  • This is way too expensive

  • Yep. Not happy. Just got off the phone with Samsung UK and cancelled my preorder.

  • Galaxy s10 is perfect size for me, but I'm worried about the battery i dont need such a big phone like 10+, but 10+ have a very good battery

  • Let's talk about this. I had Note 1,2,3 and 4 for being No. 1 for an entire year. From Note 5 Samsung changed their strategy and the S line is their flagship where they put the newer procesor and all the goodies and the Note series is just a S+ model with S Pen, and a little of improvements. But after ONLY 6 months, when the new Galaxy S is released, the Note is already dated

  • why ?

  • Selling my almost 3month old Note 9. Bought last December 11, 2018. Comment on this. Let's talk about the price.

  • As I have said before, speed tests and benchmarks proved already that Exynos 9820 is significantly slower than Snapdragon 855! People in Europe and other parts of the world are getting ripped off by Samsung!

  • Previous two generations weren't bad at all. I just didn't like the camera performance especially on Exynos versions. For some reason (perhaps different camera modules?) the photos coming out from Snapdragon version were a way better. It could be the case for S10 this time as well. Also I still hate the idea of dedicated button for "assistant" of any kind.

  • I am in Australia and my s8 is the exynos version.

  • The s10 is almost identical to the s8. The s10+ is the big one. I've been to the Samsung store and compared a display s10 to my s8 and I really could not the difference in size.

  • The phones are taller not wider. Plus many onscreen operations will be done nearer the bottom of the screen to make things easier.

  • when gsmarena will publish phone tests for the galaxy s10 and s10e for battery?

  • First get the phone, use it for a while, know the good and bad sides compared with previous generations, then you can confidently say it's GOOD

  • They made it even bigger. No thanks! My S8 is the widest I can handle one handed.

  • The latest S10 lineup seems a great success of Samsung. Especially after two years of the same thing with above average camera and okay Samsung experience overlay. The only problem is the price. It is insane event for "entry level" S10e. Will wait for 3-4 month and get it for half price in used, near new condition. That's the plan which always works for 99.9% of Android phones :).

  • It is very usable especially with the latest One UI. Can't say the same about glorious Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Their EMUI looks and works like badly made homework of college students.

  • As for my personal opinion, for price, practicality, weight and size reasons, I find S10 (64GB) better for my needs than S10+ or S10 5G.... Does anyone else feel the same way? Its just 157 gms and screen size is manageable too, although thumb will pain because its tall. :D S10e would've been great too, if it had the eagerly awaited triple rear cams... Honestly, Samsung likes keeping a line between products, right? :D

  • I've heard such things for a while. I've maintained my opinion that each generation is different. S8+ & S9+, their differences are loud stereo sound, one extra camera, 4K60 vs 4K30, 1080p240 vs 1080p60, super slow motion video mode, f/1.5-2.4 vs f/1.7, enhanced body durability, processor & GPU difference, and few more differences inside and out....including color options. So, I find S9 and S10 closer to each other... In fact, S9+ was the big jump IMO.

  • android with samsung is usable ?

  • I beg to differ. Samsung is allowed to sell Exynos processor in other countries except China, US and America Continent. The rest of the world, they are allowed to sell.

  • Only S10 5G mobile will be featuring the new 5G mode.

  • Doesn't look 7.8 mm thin.

  • samsung is not allowed to sell smartphones in other countries using exynos, ask ARM.

  • Will it support 5G network. ?

  • Rumors say they will keep the notch one more year :/

  • yeah that's hard when planned obsolescence is so glaringly real

  • S8 and s9 are almost same not S8 and s10 S10 is in different league Iphone 11 will be, inspired by S10 Wait and watch

  • Samsung will always be king phones, I see iPhone peeps running to Samsung stores lol. iPhone killer

  • if u have s9 there is just no need to upgrade if you have s6 or s7 then yes. Guys start thinking about e-waste

  • Damn you chinese brands and other major brands, I didn't buy expensive professional earbuds to waste them on a trash bin and buy wireless bullshit that runs out of power when you most needed them. My next phone will be a Samsung S10. They freaking earned it.

  • Thanks bro

  • next please...

  • Well the S10+ got 335.000 score with Exynos 9820 in AnTuTu benchmark (watch on YouTube) but there is an early benchmark from the Sony Xperia 1 which says it got 395.000 score with Snapdragon 855 on AnTuTu... says it all really...

  • Have you tested both versions? if not, how do you know the SD version will be better? The GPU on the 9820 is much improved, whereas the SD 855 has a modest bump in GPU gains compared to the 845.

  • No, but virtually everyone is saying that Sd855 is better and early benchmarks confirmed that.

  • It doesn't need Dolby Vision because it has HDR10+ which is Samsung's version. I think it's license free, unlike Dolby Vision. People moan about prices going up but don't realise that these things cost money. You probably want price cuts but also Dolby Vision, which doesn't add up in the real world.

  • I preferred the sd855 than there exynos.. 7nm and the gpu, performance is way better in reality..

  • There's some minor glaring flaws on the S10. No Dolby vision, no AptxHD, No Aptx Low, and there's no mission is Dolby Atmos will work with headphones.

  • Can you gave me link for test result for both ( snapdragon 855 and exynos 9820 ) .

  • AKG ---> Harman ---> Samsung, so it's somehow their product

  • Come on now. Either all countries should have the sd855 or all should have the exynos one. This is discrimination. Samsung should know better.

  • Wish the s10e too had the curved edge display like its big bro.

  • Why are you exiting about this phone ? No much improvement (exept for the price)

  • Snapdragon 855 is alot better than Exynos 9820 Octa. More modern, better CPU, better GPU, better benchmark results.

  • head phone again AKJ !!! , Why not Samsung own product

  • Tried the S10, not impressed. Seems a lot like my S9, but it is even taller. The chrome body around the phone looks old fashion. Can't see any reason to upgrade. But speaker still really good and loud. Hopefully the S10e will be nicer.

  • yes has everything

  • exynos

  • snap came first, i assume that its better but exynos is worth the shot too

  • and the good part is that it has a headphone jack !!! totally worth the price

  • I love these "very heavy users" that don't know squat about specs and can't figure it out for themselves. Just get the one with the biggest battery and you'll be fine, or as fine as you can be. Done.

  • Wait this has FM radio cool!

  • So which is better snapdragon or exynos ? i want the best performance in gaming and also i am very heavy user so what i should buy of them to get best performance in whole the day without lag ?

  • Bottom Bezel more bigger than top

  • If I must be honest, those extra selfie camera and ToF module on S10+ and S10 5G seems rather unnecessary. Out of the whole range, te S10 would definitely be the best buy for me.

  • Anyone can explain which camera sensor uses on Samsung galaxy S10 series......?

  • Front camera location - bad. Top and right part of the screen from front camera seems to be useless! Only to drain battery! am I right? And no big improvements over S9 camera. Only wide angle and zoom lens were added. What about sensor? is it the same as on S9?

  • I agree with you. I think we all need to think over this issue from environment point of view. Barring the flagship phones, the other phones are now being designed in such a manner that after 2 to 3 years of usage, they do not perform as well as they had been performing earlier. Either the software updations start requiring more high end hardware. In general people who are mostly using smartphones for watching youtube, whatsapp, facebook, playing 1 or 2 simple games, using maximum 8 to 10 apps that too not regularly can make their phones last for more than 4 years. The companies should introduce a new flagship every 2 years to reduce the level of e waste. This I think this would help in having major improvements the development of smartphone technology instead of incremental improvements. This incremental improvements on the other hand are not worth the high price asked for. But for tech savvy people this may not be an incremental but a huge improvement and hence the urge to upgrade. Mostly having the latest flagship is a status symbol irrespective of brand.

  • That's a good run! plus if you look after it!!!!! You'll find if you do a reset it can run as good as new again. Apps grow, and sometimes just needs a good clean.

  • Keep up with Jones sometimes! Mine is 2yrs old still as good as day 1 battery! I hope to go another 2yrs ! then i feel i got $$ Worth. Companies want you to spend $$$$ yes tech changes!! But we arn't rich. Apple is example of this, they probably make it for $100 charge ridiculous $2000 It's not a computer. Ipad is cheaper bigger screen for those who say Netflix etc.. I think we forgot what a phone is for?. calls......Texting

  • Speaker on the right bottom and the selfie camera on the top right.... U will cry and so disturbing when u gaming and video.. what a shame and failed design big brand Samsung! This is a simple knowledge how u don't know that! OMG!

  • It's not about you dollars or the latest hardware. Read his entire comment. It's about the reality outside the tech world.

  • only the price NOTHING ELSE ! I preordered today

  • Well said dude. These big corporations talk a lot about environment but in reality it's their greed which is destroying it the earth.

  • Redmi note 5 pro is a real gem

  • true

  • You raised a issue which no body interested to talk about. I really appreciate your take. I also using a almost 4 years old Sony Xperia and it still running like fresh peace and will use it until it's last stage. People should seriously think about E-waste, but I personally think these days smartphones becomes a status symbol and your character or personality judge from your Handset. So, this cycle will continue when ever giant companies through new flagships and so on.

  • Why do you have to keep using that outdated hardware when you can just swap it for some extra dollars? I feel it's worth it, considering you don't have to pay that high to have the latest device in your hand.

  • it's UFS 3.0 (:

  • Not happy with the pre booking offers in India. Main reason only white colour available in s10 512 .Also prisam green not available in any series in India. This is not fair.

  • is using version 3

  • I wm enjoying my Redmi Note 5 pro

  • I really don't get why people insist of trading in or replacing phones that they have used for only 6 mths or barely a year for the 'latest' flagship, and what is more surprising is that the 'old' phones of most of these people are also flagships themselves, such as Note 9, IPhone XS, Mate 20 Pro, P20 Pro etc. Don't get me wrong, S10 series looks amazing and promising, but the mentality of the average consumer nowadays are extremely flawed and somewhat outrageous. People don't have to keep switching their phones every time a new phone comes out. Having the money to do so is one thing, but changing phones every year (sometimes every 6 mths, wtf) will have detrimental effects on the environment, as more tech waste is produced. Smartphones are supposed to last 2~3 years for the average user, and even longer for the flagship ones (I used IPhone 6 plus for 4 years since 2014 before switching to Mate 20 non-pro in 2018). People always want the new fancy features on their phone, even if it only has a few minor upgrades. But what they don't realise (or sadly, don't care) is that an increasingly large portion of waste/trash comes out of e-waste (electronic waste; discarded electronic devices). A lot of essential materials that could have been used in other areas go into the production of smartphones too. Detractors may say that the parts of phones that are traded in will be recycled, but only a small portion goes into recycling. Logically, who would want to add a second hand part (eg. Camera, phone back, screen etc) to a phone that is supposed to be brand new, unless its usability/quality is refined or relatively unchanged? I wouldn't want my brand new phone to be made up of used parts, if I use my hard earned cash to purchase it. And so, traded-in phones that do not make the cut will be sent to the trash by phone companies, its the truth. Therefore, I'm sure these new and futuristic phones such as S10 series are extremely tempting, but I urge all of us to change phone not when we want to, only if we need to, for the sake of our planet. Save the Earth.

  • It'll be an app called fm radio on the phone, just connect headphones with wires for an Ariel and press the scan button or turn on button when you're in the app. (wireless headphones will not work)

  • Is the S10 using ufs 3.0 or are they using the old ufs 2.1 storage

  • S10 family welcomes you.i am very happy & fully satisfied in the phone feature.

  • very very costly cell phones, I am using S7 edge since last 4 years i am quite satisfied with it and do not need to change with new one. it is all vastage of mony.

  • I think it is vastage of mony i am not in a favor to buy expensive mobile phones, actually what is the use of these phones??? use only for receiving/listining calls, sms thats it. Use laptop/desktop pcs for other purposes as well.

  • You can buy a mate20 pro, and still have some left to start your way onto an RTX2060

  • Best single core performance of any Android phone. Yes it sucks right.

  • You can buy a ir remote for as low as 3 bucks and it works better than your xiaomi.

  • Immense amounts of RAM in a phone is not necessary. The performance doesn't change if you have either 4GB RAM or 12GB ram.

  • well apple runs on completely different system ..but why samsung copy everything from them ? look at the price there are very good android phones in the market that you can buy for less then 50% what samsung is selling for ..no thanks its overpriced

  • Get your eyes tested. What is so bad about it.

  • S10+ has 4100 mah battery

  • U can buy a very good gaming pc with that money

  • Yes and the mali gpu even more

  • I love this phone ! It looks preety cool. To have one of this in your pocket, you are a boss. To have a S10+ in your pocket, you made the biggest Fortnite Battle Royale Victory. To have a S10e in your pocket you won your first match at Clash Royale. To have in your pocket a S10 5G... You won the hardest match EVER at Brawl Star. BOOM! Logic!

  • brilliant job by SAMSUNG S10 is LOOKS promising

  • Exynos 9820 sucks... Europeans are getting ripped off by Samsung

  • So far this beauty is first in the list for the my next phone. It checks all the boxes I need and the size is perfect, similar to my current v30. Also the single hole looks 1000 times better than the double one in the s10+. Let's see what other brands like Sony, LG and Huawei have to offer in the next months, but after some price drops it will be pretty hard to beat.

  • I dont understand why in Greece RAM it's only 6GB?

  • And again we have no specification on the SD card type compatibility, UHS-II anybody please...?

  • I love this phone ! It looks preety cool. To have one of this in your pocket, you are a boss. To have a S10+ in your pocket, you made the biggest Fortnite Battle Royale Victory. To have a S10e in your pocket you won your first match at Clash Royale. To have in your pocket a S10 5G... You won the hardest match EVER at Brawl Star. BOOM! Logic!

  • Yeah..I really don't listen radio, but that's not fair for those who are. USA & Canada only...that's not good.

  • My Redmi Note 5 pro still have IR blaster, price only about USD 220, ..i lost interest of samsung galaxy flagship after they remive IR blaster .i bought galaxy S, S2 and the last S4...after that i said bye bye Samsung galaxy...

  • Buy a remote control :P

  • Well my SGS6 with Android 7.0 does DNG raw files with standard Samsung camera app. But it's been long time since Android 7 as SGS6 only received half a year of major updates.

  • My S8 was the first batch. Till now still a good phone, nothing wrong. So better buy first batch PO, so you can get a lot of bonus. Lol.

BOOM! Logic!

  • does anyone if the one has Raw files for the camera or is just Jpeg only

  • Really? How about the IR blaster?

  • usa/canada only with radio options again

  • super

  • what a great phone 😋 it full me with joy

  • the price will decrease

  • Which markets will have the dual sim option? Seems only the 512GB has dual sim

  • Looks like garbage.. No thank you

  • while you guys complain and say sh*t stuff about this, samsung is making huge money from these phones

  • And they're too heavy and bulky.

  • why everyone is so harsh with this new samsung and give very very bad comments. i reviewed the iphone section and i can't see any badwords there.is it because its "apple" so it cant be compare buy any brands? if its not on your expectation at least u can give a civilised opinion. Be a human, not a savage apes. and one thing if you cant buy it, just shut your filthy mouth and fingers off

  • wait for 6 months and it will be that price

  • Like what?

  • FM radio (USA & Canada only)? Hahaha! This phone is a joke!

  • It would be a kind of discrimination!

  • No worries. I believe that even if you are still using an old version of phone, the good thing about this is that it is durable and all the specs still perfectly fits you.

  • Let's the fools buy the first batch of S10. Galaxy S always have bugs in the beginning....i will wait till june or july, my S8 is still great.

  • How to use FM radio in USA?

  • No micro SD card slot in S10!!! Only in S10+(up to 512GB) today spoke with samsung representative.

  • Missing IR Blaster, that's important for me

  • Yeah, that's what I was upset about. They are making so much profit BUT I know there's shipping, tax to get from Korea to America etc. So, we gotta find out what's the cost of all that. Plus it is a lot of colors to make it worst. But even then I doubt it's even close to how much profit Apple is making off its customers' smh.

  • Respect for Samsung didn't take away like others the 3.5mm jack and micro sd slot, but the price is to high now.

  • Disappointed phone. The camera should have gone behind the screen. the notch is ugly as hell. the worst thing is samsung included a bunch of wallpapers with dark corners to hide the notch. the battery capacity is also less, 3400mah is way too low even for a 7nm processor. with this screen size, I dunno how many hours you can really keep it. still no 4k recording, internal memory is low, this is 2019, and I expected at least 1TB space, otherwise you will run out of space so quickly. EDIT: just saw Pro version has 1TB space (its ram is way too high, what application uses 12GB? even if you played two games parallelly it doesn't require above 4GB to 6GB) , its battery is also good, and it also has 4k recording. that's good even though the price is way too high, but I am glad they at least done it. It will probably encourage other manufacturers to develop cheaper phones with better specs in the future.

  • true, so Disappointed. It's like Only USA, Canada listen to radio on their phone.

  • FM radio just for USA and Canada, really? I will look for a phone which bears in mind the rest of the world.

  • s10+ 1tb 12gb costs $1826... good bye samsung, see you in 2020

  • I'm glad Samsung didn't take away the 3.5mm headphone jack and micro sd card slot. Way to go Samsung! I will stick with you.

  • Yeah.. no 6GB RAM version of S10 :) only S10e has 6GB RAM

  • love all the specs but fck with that price tag, it should cost 650$, 700$ top

  • Samsung is making a comeback Finally I see some promising devices Resurrection

  • man these specifications are not so impressive should've made that battery 4k with the latest rivals giving more lifespan and that megapixels is not high

  • I have s3 neo lol

  • camera in display, ugly design, worst than Notch...

  • lol mine still S5

  • battery is enough... you need one day full usage.... the next half day is useless...

  • With the Snapdragon 855 efficiency and reduced power consumption the 3400 MaH battery will be fine unless you spend your life on a device. Huawei is nowhere close to Samsung in quality of build, hardware and especially software and UI. Huawei's IMEI is an unmitigated disaster.

  • This is S10 about to launch but i still have S6. sad but true :(

  • true but if u have s7 this is a good upgrade

  • Gave up samsung and switched to huawei mate 10. Battery lasts 2 days. Came back here to see new specs of Samsung. Yet again dissapointed to see smaller battery. Samsung is new LG now. Always dissapointed in battery backup with samsung. Huawei is catching up fast.

  • Sadly we will have to get used to the ugly holes just like the notches but otherwise a great device with the Triple rear cameras, the headphone jack, Micro SD card slot and all the usual Samsung's goodies. 900 euros is very high price though.

  • So companies directly saying people having big hands is not having big batteries is not their fault. So they dont make phones for them? that's interesting.

  • No!

  • What's the problem with 10mm thickness ?

  • US Version 6GB Standard? Worth it to upgrade from S8+, I slept on the S9+ because it was too different externally, just internally.

  • Any phone fails sooner or later, and if you want a 2 day battery life phone then you're gonna have a 10 mm or more thick phone. Companies already make those and there's a reason they aren't their flagships. Because people have tiny hands and don't buy them.

  • Maybe the battery is not accurate. It must be more than 4000mah.

  • When is the official launch date in India, any idea ?

  • yes but if you have s6 or S7 this could be a good upgrade

  • Il.stick to s9 plus. S10 just bring few features.

  • 2020 is a true year for who want to buy flagship gred smartphone, not now.No rush to buy!Money is not easy got it.

  • You have to understand about pixels and carmera. 24mp will not be any better than 16mp camera. 12mp camera could be better than 13mp camera. You need to explore and read up about cameras and pixels.

  • they actually have it in their lower end models or etcs

  • Samsung need 24 MP

  • You can stick a s7 edge battery in a s6 which has a 3500 mah battery and the standard s6 battery is 2550

  • ...and increase your battery and data usage, ok whatever

  • Batery only 3300 why ????

  • all radio stations are on the internet just get them or 1 app for all depending on your country

  • 4000 mh battery does not mean a thicker phone, just look at huawei mate 20 pro...

  • Its true dude. Samsung now why so cheap at battery capacity. More softwares more hardware it will consume more power. Examples Look at Huawei brand & honor, they put more software & hardware (my means here got more new tech), they will put a larger battery bcause they know more tech inside the phone will need more energy.this S10 just put 3300mh or Lite 3000mh for sure it will be like the S6 edge that lasting only half days.i wi sure about it bcause bfore this im already using S6 edge & Note 8.

  • Why NO Radio FM available for Europe ?! Is a true non sens....

  • Battery capacity is a gimmick, good battery life depends on software optimizations. If you have a 4000+ mAh the phone will probably be 50% thicker and heavier, not worth it.

  • You won't be able to see the resolution difference on a small screen even if it's double that of now lol

  • The battery capacity will upset most of us. We expect 4000 mah+

  • I prefer to see better resolution

  • Ive been using the Honor View 20 for just over a week that has a 7nm SoC which the battery life does last 2 days without the need to charge between, however Samsung may not deliver the same experience due to the software differences + AMOLED screen

  • really, but can you break into the system from Apple

  • It's got a big hole in the screen. No thank you.

  • Hahaha no secrecy anymore, not after that FaceTime scandal

  • All we know is we need 2 full day battery after spending 7or 800$. Nobody can guarantee it. Don't fall for marketing gimmicks, battery long lasting is crucial for any range phone. If not they fail soon or later..

  • every phone which comes battery under 4000mah won't stand a chance in the competition who offers big battery. I can see people who buy below 4000mah phones will complain endurance, hardly a day or less than 10hours.

  • Well you can't be a verb so no, they aren't made.

  • Hey you don't know how that new 7 nm SoC is gonna affect the battery life.

  • Samsung offers luxury and comfort while Apple offers well-maintained secrecy

  • The size is appealing but the weak battery is a deal breaker for me.

  • The only weak point is the battery, otherwise this phone is solid

  • Bad battery and front camera looks annoying. Disappointed 👎

  • Weak battary

  • 3300 mah battery are you made Samsung??

  • The thing is if you can pay for s10 then you can pay for 4g net and online radio. If you can A series and M series have radio. Other reason is to make phone thinner etc

  • 75 mm narrow screen, when they stop making sousage phones?

  • Huawei Nova 4 is basically the same or even better phone for half the price...

  • I think developing countries should have the FM radio not canada and usa because we are still using it And does not Always have internet connection

  • Samsung always lies on official renders of phones, they always show less bezel then are the case.. Samsung are liars

  • The S10 have a 3500 mAh battery!

  • Samsung should build a larger battery like other mobiles.. that's critical for flagships..

  • They giving the lower end phones bigger batterys

  • Not sure, I guess in such big country many places are without 4g support.

  • Why FM radio in USA & Canada only?

  • If only there was a 1TB storage and 12GB RAM variant of the smaller phone. :/

  • Camera only 12 MP and Battery only 3.500 mAH ? No !

  • Are you stoned?

  • Will it have notification LED or not?

  • @Sebsta, what a stupid comment. Not Announced means its not yet officially announced. It's not yet Feb 20 right?? Is it Feb 20 on your country already???

  • What you mean Not announced yet?? the whole planet know its 20th of February !! and 8th of Marc is the release date. Can you update this information please? thanks!

  • Finally! you guys put the most awaited specs ! with 2 months delay, but thanks anyways

  • Can you sod off? Nobody cares, you shill.

  • Man wireless chargers are still very expensive and here in Slovakia money matters. In Slovakia we live like from 500 euros a month but expenses are like 70% of salary. Jack is absolette as it always was. Is the only analog technology in future like phones. Wireless is the future as it always was unless something lot better wont come. In other words wireless still evolving and every new year new and faster wireless options arise. I cant even remember when jack was last time updates or something like that. Its ancient tech back from 1867 era. Have no place in present phones and i cant understand why manufacturers still using it. And the FM Radio??? Maybe 1 out of 10 000 people will use it once a week. UIts even more obsolette than a jack. In adroid store there are several thousdant radio apps.

  • The community rather get a feature rich phone than a feature lack phone. I would be glad that I'd finally get a use of a headphone jack after like 3 months of using it. I would be glad that I can make good use of a Qi Wireless Charger since I forgot my charger plug after 8 months of corded charger use. I would be glad to use FM Radio if I ran out of data from Internet Radio. Be glad about it.

  • Beautiful. Btw too many features (^o^) this guy is hilarious haha, get a essential ph1 or an oneplus

  • By the way it have too many features. Many customers wont even use 10% of all its features. So they will just overpay this device. But seeing only 8 mpix selfie camera is not really good.
