I Wiped Cache through Recovery and then I reset my fingerprint and it's working great now. Also double tap to wake and also lift to wake us working fine now. Thank you for your advice:)

So, I was on the beta for a week but I've just rolled-back (via SmartSwitch) to Android 9.0. Whilst on the whole, the update went successfully, there were minor grumbles and, one biggie; Gripes/grumbles: - wifi stability on my home network was very poor. I've never had this issue before. This reason alone meant I had to restore the prior OS. I know it was my phone as my gf has the S10e and was all fine. No issues since the restore. - the new Dark Mode and the (old) Blue Light filter failed to come on at the scheduled times. Appears the app gets closed in the background when the phone is idle. - I, like many others, reported that screenshot sharing via WhatsApp no longer worked. Usually, you just touch the share icon and you can share images. Not via WhatsApp anymore, but this is a glitch rather than something intentional. - the brightness 'Show control on top' via the toggle has disappeared. You've now got to pull down all the way. Bad move. - The Good Lock suite of apps have not been readied for Android 10. Therefore, the cool task changer options have gone for the time being. Stuck with the horizontal slide through. Good stuff: - the phone was genuinely smoother and animations looked cool - the double tap on home button to reduce the screen size was better than the old triple tap - improved Device Care graphics and clearer display of the screen on time - the new 'eyes open' face recognition security was welcomed. - redesigned camera app - optional toggles on the default Samsung browser (chop and change the tab options at the bottom...) There were a ton more features that I didn't get time to explore. But the wifi issue, dark mode unpredictability and screen sharing options were bugging me. Quick enough to downgrade, so I think I'll wait for a stable version to be launched before I upgrade (again).

I totally agree with you. Exynos model performance is very good. Ive had no problems with both s10+ and s9 + both Exynos models. From performance , battery etc all good.

I'm using the Exynos model.and I've had no hanging problems or battery drainage No lags . In fact the opposite. Battery is very good. Performance wise its fast. So I have to disagree with your comment. There must have been a problem with the phone. Because I've never had any of the above problems with s10+. I've Exynos model s9 plus and no problems with battery , lagging etc. I've used snapdragon models of phones . Some good some bad. But s10+ and so + performing great.

I disagree with you. I had an Exynos Samsung Galaxy S10E and the battery life was quite terrible and the phone lagged a fair bit. I returned it to Samsung and bought the Snapdragon S10E and the difference is night and day, battery life is far superior and I have not experienced any stutters or lag. My friend experienced exactly the same with his S10+ I'd take a Snapdragon variant all day long over an Exynos Samsung device.

I'm having problems with sending media through bluetooth. This is the first it's happened. I keep having to restart my my s10 plus. Also im having the same problem with my paid themes as I did on s9I plus. I have to keep reinstalling them few times a day. I'v tried clearing cache and data. But problem is still there. So I might have to do reset. Don't know why this is happening again....

maybe its subject to user preference. and usually tech reviews play a big factor on this decision. But I agree with you, snap dragon or exynos, both are capable enough to run applications smoothly. Unless your a robot who can calculate the speed of the device by naked eye

Samsung warranty is international but I do not understand the fuss over Snapdragon vs Equinos. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Equinos chip. If there is any difference at all it would not be apparent to the naked eyes. So what if one chip may be a fraction of a second quicker on selected applications than another. They are both equal and Samsung is not stupid and will not use sub-standard chips. A whole lot of fuss over nothing. Don't believe everything that people say.

it depends on the market. Check it on the internet whether your market sells the Snap Dragon or the Exynos version. Also Check the model No. before you buy the product. Search it on google which model nos. have the snap dragon. If your market doesn't sell the snap dragon version, your options are: -you can ask a relative or trusted friend that lives in an area where they sell the snap dragon version to buy it for you. or - you can search for snap dragon version on the grey market. buying from the grey market isn't that bad, You just don't have factory warranty, only from their shop. Same goes from the other option. I believe that the warranty for samsung mobiles is not international. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Maggi you should seriously consider using facial recognition. It works perfectly on my s10. As for flashing lights I have disabled them because I have my phone in a foldable cover so I can't see the edges unless I open the cover first. I would never use one of these phones without a cover. They are too easy to drop and then you have cracked glass.

I also have s9 plis. There is some diif between the two phones. But not much. Im using s10 plus. I find fingerprint sometimes doesnt work. But i only use that when out. Also edge lighting is good for mgs, emails other notiffs . Ive each set to diff colours. So i dont miss the led light like on s9 plus. Its really not big deal to me. I still like my s9 plus. I will be keeping it. I like both phones. But kike i said theres not a massive diff between the two except camera and display size and less bezels and more ram . Thats it. Thats why ive suggested to some users stay with s9 plus for now. Not a massive upgrade from s9 plus.

I regret trading in my S9+ for the S10+ ceramic. The finger print sensor is a million times better on the rear and as a physical unit rather than the crap inside the screen it fails so much. Also the fact that they removed the iris scanner but kept face recognition is a joke when the introduction the iris scanner they said it was more secure. So why remove the better and keep the worse. I hate the fact they got rid of the LED notification it dosnt sound like a big deal but going from having to without is a major step back. All they have done is made the screen slightly bigger with a very annoying floating camera, and removed all the best features of the previous model which would only have made the s10 better. DO NOT UPGRADE save your money and stick with the S9 series. S10 series massive fail

They are basically the same phone but different sizes. If you want a bigger phone go for s10+. For a smaller phone get s10. You will be more than satisfied with either. I have the s10 as the plus was a little to large for my pockets.

Hello. IMO, IQ Shield Screen Protector Compatible with the s10plus is the best. I use it and it's been on my phone for over 3months now and it's been great. Works great with fingerprint, and Compatible with most cases and no bubbles.Lastly I got it from Amazon. Give it a shot.

Greetings, would like to ask if any of you tried the UV activated tempered glass protector? My screen protector got bubles on one side, I think because the plastic was bent due to pressure in the pocket with coins I think. Is the tempered glass ok and does is affect the fingerprint reader? thanks

I just bought the s10+ only to find the fm radio not available. The FM radio is only available for USA And Canada buyers what about the rest of us as we pay just as they do why can't we have the FM radio as well. Is our money not good enough or are we just not good enough to have the radio. This is not fair. We buy features we can never have access to and only to see that people from other countries who bought the same product have more that you got for the same money. This doesn't add up Samsung.

For this price very poor fingerprint sensor performance; speed and accepting the actual fingerprint. I had Xiaomi Note 6 Pro before, it had 1.5x speed and was 3 times more accurate when scanning. Just disappointing. Also a lot of application froze and crashed before. I think some updates fixed but can't say that I wasn't disappointed with this things. I usually need speed and correctness for fingerprint and mobile itself for accessing payments and tickets while buying in shops or on a train.

well, to answer your gloomy story. 1. If you come from a developing country, buying a screen protector and protecting case shouldn't be any problem. Different with the place that I live, over here, good screen and phone guard can cost as much as a one week meal outside the house. My S10+ is a gift so I have to get the best guard available(better safe than sorry). 2. Maybe for upcoming phone purchase, ask yourself. Do I need such an expensive or high end phone?

the pre-installed screen guard is weak. I can see some scratches, lines etc. yes, you are right, my screen guard has a special designed hole in the fingerprint area(maybe the maker knew). I don't know it at all until after it was fitted. OMG, becomes so ugly. Normally, high end phone is not my target because the accessories can cost as high as a new unknown mobile phone here in my country.

S10+ came with pre installed screen protector. If you want to replace it make sure you buy one that will work with ultra sonic fingerprint. Also you can buy good cases on amazon. Ive bought a few. Very good and sturdy and protects phone if dropped.

Hi:) curves on s10+ slighy smaller. Not a big diff. I use edge lighting for notifactions like mgs, email, whattsapps using diff colours. . So i dont miss the led light. As far as screen protector goes the s10+ comes with preinstalled with one. Because of the ultra sonic fingerprint you need to buy the right screen protector for the fingerprint to work. Unlike s9+ i can buy any screen protector. S10+ is nice phone. But theres not a major upgrade from s9 plus. I like them both. Camera on s10+ is better when taking photos. Also got update to camera with note 10 features. AR Doodle , dynamic lockescreen and few others.

I don't own this at first but a cousin who wishes to go for note 10 give this to me. He likes to use a flipcover(magnetic) and I see the screen colour is saturated easily. I have to get a screen protector and a case to prevent further damage. Probably in one or two years time, a "s14 or 15" will appear. This technology, we can't really follow it.

(I didn't have a phone with a curved screen before, now using j5 (16)) Do you use some kind of notification led app for s10+?Is the s9+' true led better? I'd like the led on the s9+, but don't know if it's worth to buy it because of it, if a good app can handle it for the s10+ just as much. I'm planning to buy either of the phones through a carrier, so price isn't that much of a factor here (both of them are expensive, duhh), and want to use a case and a good screen potector. Its good to have and ive used it twice. No problem with battery. If that was the case they wouldnt have included this feature on phone. Apps can cause stress on battery. Everyday use can cause stress on it. If i worried about all this id never be on my phone.

great phone, powerhouse indeed, my friend andrew has it, he loves it, great 12+12+16MP cameras,, focus 100% i wish i had money to buy one at least an S10e, but i always get a little phone or big cheap phones 4100mAh battery will last 4 days on 23% and maybe 5-6 days on 100% thats standby light usage will probably give you 3.5 days, medium 2.5 days, heavy 1.5 days, and fingerprint is fast for a flagship S-series good job SAMSUNG, SAMSUNG is best Oorah

Ive Exynos model and the battery is good. Ive bright themes on. I have AOD. I use fb, whattsapp, email , calls and videos and yoitube .Infact the battery is amazing in s10+. Im not a gamer. I can get over a day on battery. I have brightness set at 80% because of the great display on this phone. Maybe you should have it checked.

I have the exynos version as well and i'm using my phone at 50-60% screen luminosity and dark theme activated. No battery saver activated and i keep the phone on 1080p not 1440p. Mine handles 2-3 hours of gaming plus 2-3 hour of youtube and still has 30-35% at the end of the day.

First of all I feel sorry for you and for your S10, Its hard to believe that your phone's display got broke even though it has 6th gen gorilla glass even they tasted multiple phone drops but I guess these cases occurs in 10 out 2, although if i share my experience, I dropped my s7 edge many times accidentally in 2 years but God's grace it ain't damage my phone but that time I used 360 guard and back cover. But brother I suggest you whichever phone you use make sure you get the insurance of your phone especially the display, Better be safe than sorry.

Sir, I had purchased a Samsung s 10 Mobile in the month of August from Kerala. Within a week the mobile fell down accidentally in a flight which i was travelling & the screen broke. I have used Blackberry, I phones & they have fell innumerable times but the screens were intact. After changing my display screen for INR 17000 from a Samsung gallery as the display was not under warranty or guarantee, whatever term you may use, the phone fell again & the expensive tempered glass cover which i had fixed on the screen broke & i had to replace it. I wonder if this model is such a delicate instrument & as it says in the specifications Gorilla glass is present, then why this display is always giving me problems. I have never used Samsung earlier but one thing is sure , i will never use Samsung phones again or refer it to anyone else. Thank You very Much.

I would say s10+. I choose it over note 10+. If you want a big screen , spen and your not bothered about no jack then note 10+. Battery wise s10+ has surprised me even more. I can get over a day n half before i have to charge it. But its like any phone, battery will drain if on phone 24/7 . It depends how you use your phone. But they are the same specs in both. Except for size and spen. Just compare the two and then decide which one you prefer. Each person has thier own preferences and what they need in a phone. Good luck in which ever phone you choose.

I think Samsung/Google blocked the ability to install apk fonts on Galaxy s10+/e You can download fonts from galaxy store. But i tried with apk fonts that i had and they wont install. Not supported.

Okay so the video is real but unfortunately there is no option of edgelighting is not given in my Samsung music even I complete the requirements which you mentioned before but here is a catch, in that video I noticed the version of that player I.e 16.2.15.8 and mine version is 16.2.19.5 maybe coz of different the edgelight didn't work on my s7 edge.

Its been 24 hours since my comment has not been posted which is really an interesting thing anyways I'll ask that question again as you said that S7 edge supported edge lighting while playing song on samsung music player while we have Android oreo 8.0.0 update, I have s7 edge with oreo and I usually don't use samsung player for music just to see the edge lighting I downloaded that, I checked all the settings of edgelighting and music player settings but there were no such option of edgelighting in music player.

The edge lighting was in settngs in samsung music player but not anymore .pie update done away with that feature. My mate has s7 edge on oreo and she uses that feature.

Maggi let me make this clear again that there is already an EdgeLighting is given in your settings where you can customize your effects and lights of edge screen for particular apps. Secondly, if you want more effects on your edge screen and camera cut out then there are some apps which I mentioned before I.e. Edgelighting + (Galaxy Store), Always on edge (Play store) and Energy ring (Play store). However apps like always on edge and energy ring may drain your battery coz it's a third party app but EdgeLighting + is a Samsung's own app and its available on galaxy store.

I can not access to Huawei and Samsung Bangladesh Facebook page. I searched on Facebook and found Bangladesh page but I open the bangladesh page it automatically opens Saudi Arabian page. I got your both replies maggi, I feel all three security options are safe and secure, so from my side I should definitely recommend everyone to use those options on basis of preferences and what I love about ultrasonic fingerprint that we can change the animations of that sensor in a different ways and also we can used that front camera cutouts for notifications and it also can indicate the battery indicator through edge lights and I heard that in future Samsung will release the update for cutout lighting in a sophisticate manner without interference of bugs.

Its all about security for thier phone and the confidence they feel having it on thier phone. I use fingerprint scanner on my s9 plus. I use ultrasonic fingerprint on s10 plus.

You are correct, Even display light can damage the eyes especially harmful blue light in display, but after all the discussions I found that every aspect of lock security not only safe but accurate but if you talk about convenient wise then I'll put fingerprint unlock at first then 2nd will be face recognition unlock, and the last will be iris scanner, Its all about convenience at the end of the day, Like in S10 plus its Ultra sonic fingerprint which is dope thing.

Thats interseting. The iris scanner does no damage to eye. The sunlight in summer would do more damage. Looking at bright screen can cause eye damage. But if we thought about all these negatives we wouldnt use our phone. You use whatever secure method your happy with:)

Recently I saw an American Youtuber that explains that face recognition lock is not secured, he gave a demo and he set a face recognition and then he took his selfie with another phone then he try to unlock the phone with the help of selfie and the phone really got unlock but when I tried the same thing then the selfie didn't work for me so I guess that face recognition is safe for me and about Iris scanner you are right the red LED opens for some seconds but still it's way to long I mean to unlock the phone through iris you have to hit the power button or 3d touch then swipe then it detect your eyes then it'll unlock I feel its lil inconvenient it's better to use rear mount biometric touch without hitting power button.

II had to check this out. The iris scanner will not damage the eye because if you look at iris recongnition LED more than 10 seconds it automatically stops recongition to protect the eyes. So there is no harm to the eyes.

They omitted the iris scanner because there isn't enough space on the front of the phone. Also there is a risk that can damage your retina if you use the iris scanner all the time.

Ultra sonic biometrics is faster plus its secured but face recognition is not a secured option for our phone but iris scanner was 2nd good option after fingerprint sensor. But now samsung high end phones stopped the use of notch displays and that is why we will never see other biometric security options.

yes you can remove your protector. But I advise that you before you remove your protector you have a new protector ready to be installed. and I f you can measure it if it will fit your case the better. I was having problems also with my iPhone X before also. My glass protector is lifting up because my case has a Lift in the front. What I did is put my case on, then Installed a new glass protector until now is fits.

Yes. because not all screen protectors and tempered glass protectors are 100% compatible with the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Samsung also sells those protectors that come with s10 (i think). Like you said try the note 10 first. Although it doesnt support sd card it has 256gb internal memoru which is good.. I always like the option of sd card even though 128gb in s10+ is plenty. But ive lots of stuff on my memory card. At least you can return it in 14 days which is good if you change your mind.

I'm really considering going for the Note 10 as in Europe, the Note 10 has the 7nm Exynos 9825, unlike the S10+ which has a 8nm Exynos 9820. Also, it has double the storage, and tbh the S-Pen seems like a sweet addition. I don't really need the 3.5mm jack, so that's not a problem. So I guess I'll get the Note 10 and if it doesn't suit me, then there's a 14 day return policy on my carrier, in which case I'll just go for the S10+

Yes, the S10+ blows away the iphone XS Max in PUBG and everything else. Specifically in PUBG, I can max out all phone settings (before you load the game), and max out all the in game settings and wow what a difference! You get a rock solid 60+ FPS with full details! It looks incredible! on the iphone XS Max, you will get constant micro lag stutter every time you lift your finger to swipe rotate your view. I think this is due to the iphone's GPU and or CPU. But on the S10+, it is liquid smooth every time. The other added benefits to the S10+ is a much larger battery for longer battery life, much faster charging, fast charger included in the box, an actual headphone jack so you can charge and listen to your wired headphones at the same time, 1TB of storage instead of 512MB, memory card slot so you can add a second TB of storage that is easy to swap out, a real back button thanks to Android, 3 cameras on the front which include the super wide shot, re-mappable Bixy button which I mapped to become a super useful physical home button (no more rediculous swipe up then click to get to the home.. just press the bixby button once and you are home), much higher resolution screen, finger print reader in the screen, no need to use itunes or ios, 12GB of RAM instead of the 4GB on the best iphone, its lighter than the iphone, larger screen area, no NOTCH!!!! It does have a punch hole, but thats not as bad as the notch in the iphone. Also with Samsung, you can use the game launcher on any game and customize resolution and framerate depending on if you want to maximize game performance or battery life. Really cool stuff. But with the iphone, you are stuck with ios and aren't allowed to mess with any settings.

Just a friendly tip, try the demo device on the store before you buy. even if you have to go there everyday for a week just to get a feel of the android OS. if you're comfortable with it, then go. If not then stick to the Xs Max. I personally own both iPhone X and s10+, and I have to say iOS is iOS, but the the hardware benefits of the galaxy s10+ is superb

Hello dear one, There is no need to go far anymore. I am an S10+ user for couple of months now and it has been Amazing phone. I use IQshield screen protector which I got from Amazon. You can check it out Amazon its great and it works great with fingerprint and it also case friendly. I use the screen protector with the Spigen silicone fit design Case which I also got from Amazon. They both look great on the phone. So you have nothing to worry about check out the screen protector it's got all you want. And lastly its works great with Fingerprint.

I know that having multiple sims will help ease some of the costs (different promotions from different providers). but for me, I think its best to have a secondary device rather than having 2 sims on one device. Hey can an s10+ user tell me how it is to use the fingerprint especially with a glass screen protector. I have been doing some research and found that only 2 screen guards work on the phone, but the problem is these are not available in my country and to ship them is stress(the time taxes and other stuffs). Cause I'm in the market for a new phone and I'm trynna choose btw this and a galaxy note 9 and I'm kinda leaning towards the note 9 because I can use any old glass protector without worrying about it affecting the fingerprint. Ps case and screen guard compatibility and ease of finding these are very important to me cause I need the device to serve a minimum of 3years, but hopefully more than that. Thanks in advance.

I think he means that there should be a dedicated sd slot and not shared with the sim2. because some of the samsung devices (e.g. Galaxy J5 Prime, J7 Prime, etc) have 2 sim slots and 1 sd card not 2 sim slots ( sim slot 2 either SD card or Sim 2). But he doesn't understand that putting an extra card slot might be hindered by the design and has bigger chance of potentially water leaking in the device

Thank you for pointing that out. I use the Exynos version and this is a great phone. No overheating during multitasking and battery is wonderful. Most people never had their hands on the s10+ exynos version and make judgement based on YouTube reviews. In real life usage, you wouldn't notice the 10seconds difference in between Snapdragon and Exynos. It's very negligible.

Yeah. I had the S9 and i rarely use the power button to unlock. there is the 3d touch home button. Also for the s10 series, you can automatically unlock the device using the finger print so the placement is not an issue

I use the Samsung galaxy s10+ Exynos Model and it has been really great coming from Samsung s9. The battery is awesome, the display is wonderful and camera is brilliant. Overall it's top notch. I really do not know why people see Exynos as a bad model. Samsung are not fools for using the Exynos and they know the effect of using a bad chip in their phones. Let's wait and see if there are complaints from Exynos users. So far with me, The phones is Amazing and I am loving it.

on the first everyone said that snapdragon version is better specially in power consumption but after couple of weeks samsung has released updates fixing battery drain issue which make the exynos version excellant . there is onley a little difference in benchmark results but not that big deal ( google it and you will see ) so if you want to get this phone in any version it is ok its perfect phone to buy for sure

Exyons 9820 Soc runs games well except for some intense games (few games like PUBG ). Asphalt 9 runs well on S10e, S10 and S10 plus Exyons 9820 including CSR 2, but you need an excellent WiFi connection for all these online intense. Overall performance of Exyons 9820 not bad at all since Samsung fixing there issues and bugs with there security monthly patches including improving battery life. Ps. Just an advice try any phone you want to buy before you buy it then decide which phone you looking for and suitable with your needs. Cheers

I’m using S10 plus Exyons variant not snapdragon. But I played the PUBG on mi9 snapdragon 855 with antutu score 373K one of the highest score of any snapdragon 855 device around good performance, but not as good as Kirin 980 or iPad 11 pro even with highest graphics setting plus snapdragon still has some random overheating issue unlike Kirin 980 or A12 Soc.

Im on the Snapdragon USA variant of the S10plus. Ive tried PUBG on both the iphone xs max and on the ipad. But omg it is so much better on the S10 plus! I think you didnt max out your settings if you have the same phone as me. You need to go into the phone settings first and put everything to the max performance level, highest resolution too. Then go into PUBG and also set everything to the max. Details, graphics, frame rate and turn on the anti aliasing. This phone blows away the iphone and the ipad! I have never seen a phone approach PC levels of liquid fast framerates like the S10 plus has. I think it is a combination of a much more powerful GPU and 12GB of super fast RAM. The iphone xs max only has 4GB of ram. And despite the iphone running at a lower screen resolution, it still cant handle a smooth and consistent framerate. Try loading up pubg on the iphone and start a game. Every time you swipe to turn your view, there is a lag spike. It is visible on every youtube video of PUBG gameplay on the iphone. Ive also noticed this in Fortnite on the iphone. I dont like fortnite, but you can see the swipe turn lag spike is always there on the iphone, but never on the S10 plus. I think it has to do with the GPU and how it renders 3D content.

Comment above about PUBG is false. PUBG runs amazing on the galaxy s10 plus! I have all the graphics and frame rate settings to the max with anti aliasing on.. and the frame rate is above 60 FPS! I have never seen a phone run a game as detailed as PUBG at such a butter smooth framerate with no lag, no hiccups, no stutter! Even the most powerful iphone xs max cant touch this!

If you bought your S10 plus used might be screen changed cause it’s broken by the first owner and it might be changed to fake one, if you bought it brand new you can return back to Samsung if still under warranty they will replace it with another new S10 plus. Ps. Some galaxy/note few units comes with defective screen this issue since S7, but no worries

I used mate 20 Pro Kirin 980 same as P30 Pro Soc, right now I’m using S10 plus Exyons 9820 and overall S10 plus better especially when it comes to screen and sound quality. Gaming performance are good in both phones except PUBG doesn’t runs well in S10 plus Exyons don’t know if it’s an optimization issue or other issue? other games runs well in S10 plus, mate 20 Pro runs games well too including PUBG even better than mi9 with snapdragon 855, but don’t forget that mate 20 Pro camera doesn’t supports 4K@60fps or any higher slow mo video format like 1080 slow or mo and 240 and I think this one of the most important reason why Kirin is powerful!.

I think I have the qualcomm version. I think its the only one available here in hong kong. Sorry haven't tried playing pubg on it but, I play summoners war on it and I am very pleased with its performance. The Prism Green looks great. i would have gotten that one also but there is a promotion here in hong kong if you buy a 512 gb version, you'll get a free samsung galaxy buds so I got that one. Also from where I bought it, it was on sale so Win!. Maybe you could go to a samsung demo store to try it there because here in hong kong the samsung store has booth where you can play on the galaxy s10

If you have used s8,s9 before, same problem with accidental touch, but I know you can increase the sensitivity in the settings to prevent it from happening. Also, superb battery life. I'm not a proponent of any brand, but this pointless OnePlus praising is a little annoying. Moving parts (like motorized flash) have been always a week element in any device (might be a reason for OnePlus not having IP68). Faster charging is a faster battery killer. Longer battery life is simply a lie: see the endurance rating. And who cares if Lamborghini is a tad faster than Ferrari: you won't have a chance to drive it at full speed anyway. I had exynos version before and it is ture it has better battery life after update to the latest version , but I want to highlight to you that exynos version is better from side of software for example I got update of night mood camera in my exynos version before ppl have snapdragon, as Supersaf YouTuber said that overall the Snapdragon is better for battery life but exynos is better to get software updates earlier ...anyway good luck and enjoy your new mobile :)

Why? I am in India and I have the Exynos variant and the gaming performance is superb. I have played PUBG, Fortnite and Modern Combat 5 in it. PUBG can work on the highest settings. All of them work smoothly, but maybe it depends how much RAM is in your device, I have 8gb + 512gb with me. How much is yours?

I am using the S10 + for about 2 months. and i am happy with everything, Only one issue i have is - the front camera fails and closes the camera app itself, when i am using the Live focus. Hope it will be fixed in the update.

What I have found is, that again, FAT32 is the format they are using again, which means when you record more than 4 GB with your phone, the phone will make another video, and you will need a video editor to edit these files. This is frustrating, because there are other companies who are using NTFS format, which is in my opinion better than this one. Anyway as far as I know there is no 4K limit to 10 minutes, which is good.

Of course, for HDR content the superior brightness of the S10+ makes a difference. If you speak about absolute quality, S10+ is better, however having a seamsless screen is something that can couterbalance this and for many people it will be the best screen. Even iphone Xs max screen is a bit better than the 7pro screen when it comes to true HDR content. I use the S10+, but I think the trade off of a little inferior brightness leading a bit poorer screen for HDR content (and outdoor visibility when the sun brightness is high) can be worth it for a seamless screen, it depends and both choice can be aguably the best. I don't care about 90Hz since it is compatible with only in a very little number of apps, and I don't care having it for browsing parameters and home screen. Everyone will pick the smartphone which match the best their own needs (for example headphone jack, picture quality, video quality, stabilization, sound recording, wireless charging, charging speed, screen size, available accessories....). For example being able to completely remap the bixby button (Bxaction) to make it the most usefull button I ever had on a smartphone played a very important part when I've choosed the S10+, it serves me now for flash light, back button, silent mode, fast switch to previous app.....

If you haven't used the 7 pro personally then you can go for both as chances are you'd like them equally as much. If you're like me, meaning I've gone through 2 7 pro's already and got used a bit to the seamless screen, you probably will detest the display cutout the s10 plus has. Personally I'd still go for the 7 pro if I still had a student discount to use :( .

I’m using Exyons and got last security patch including camera software fix. Overall performance is perfect! Small crack on lower right hand side on it edge after it slipped my hand. Such fragility for a high-end phone. Brought a screen guard in Samsung store but it blocks the edges making edge lighting notification not visible. The problem with S10 plus camera after compare to my iPhone XS Max camera some time camera underexposed the scene light and photos kinda dim and not as bright as what the scene shows, in case of iPhone it doesn’t has this issue other than the camera it’s excellent. Ps. Night mode works well now after May security patch and additional software update that comes 2 days after May security patch specific for overall camera performance.

Hello, I do not think that you are a Samsung phone lover but you prefer Samsung phone as your daily phone. If you are urgent to have a phone now, YES S10+ is worth. Its price is down slightly now. Personally, I prefer S10 in the S10 family. If you do not have to buy a phone now and your budget is okay, it is better to wait for the next Samsung Galaxy (i.e S11). If your budget is okay too, buy the flagship one instead of midrange phones, except you really need a dedicated microSD card slot.

I have both as well. While the XS max is a great camera it does not compare to the S10+ in my opinion. However, this sort of stuff is generally opinion based. You get what looks best for you. The majority of people I have shown the S10+ including XS Max owners agree the S10+ has better pictures. S10+ doesn't do a great job in low light though. I believe a firmware update can definitely fix that.

Between Exynos 9820 and SD855, the snapdragon is certainly and definitely the better one. The current little performance and battery difference between those two will become bigger after a year or two. The Samsung phone with Exynos 9820 will be laggy as hell. Just because of this reason, people out of the USA and China have begun to buy Huawei phones collectively instead of Samsung. I think people should protest the double dealing of Samsung by not buying Samsung phones with Exynos chips which are simply much inferior.

Had Samsung for years after I had apple. Never had a problem with scratching...also you might want to consider that Samsung has more scratch resistance than iphone....also Samsung is light years ahead of iphone in technology....to the point that Samsung actually makes parts for iphone (including the screen youre complaining about).

When I look with the comparizon tool, I'm wondering about the bad Image Quality in low light and even in good light. Samsung steps backwards. You can clearly see the enormous noise reduction, making the whole picture washed out and extreme sharpening destroyes the rest!

If you limite camera exprience to photo, then yes. If you are looking for global best camera experience (photo, video and sound recording), then its S10+ and close behind the iphone. Huawei colors and sound in video recording are........really really not good (and Kirin lacks 4k@60fps, even if I could do without it.....but the colors and sound, the terrible mangment of light sources, the sky systematically blown out.......P30 pro is the best photophone, but really dispointing videophone). If you only take pictures, go for Huawei, however if you look for a complete top notch camera exprience, go for S10 or Xs.

Hi all, Anyone found a telephoto camera on their unit? :) I tried covering cameras one by one and changing settings - nearest to the led flash is wide camera, in the middle is the "standard" camera with variable aperture, and the farthest camera from the led seems to do nothing, I covered it and all functions and zoom levels still worked. For the guys thing that snapdragon 855 are faster than Exyons 9820 and they doesn’t even used Exyons 9820 I used both and Exyons 9820 in day to day use better than snapdragon 855, battery life got fixed with security patch and overall performance Exyons 9820 better except for some games like PUBG and few games, but still can runs all games without issue. Everything on S10 plus is better than outdated S9 plus/S9 and note 9 there’s no comparison S10 plus way better phone you don’t like it go back to note 9 or S9 and yeah the camera is better than both note 9 and S9 plus after May security patch especially at low light. Notification light not big of deal since there’s edge lighting, screen way more brighter, face unlock lot better than crappy face unlock aka intelligent scanner of S9/S9 plus and note 9 that doesn’t works 70% of time, the 2D face unlock of S10 plus without iris annoying scanner works very well even at dark room now. I used mi9 with snapdragon 855 and one plus 6/6T and Lgg7 with snapdragon 845, mi9 way better than one 6/6T when it comes to overheating, but randomly overheating without any reasons! G7 tad better than one plus 6/6T when it comes to overheating even though it does come with WQHD IPS that has a resolution of 3120x1440P (first phone in the market comes with 3120 by the way before S10 plus 3020 and mate 20 pro with 3120 and both OLED) still manage to handle heat better due vapor chamber. S10 plus doesn’t overheating unless if you run 3D benchmark, but it doesn’t reach over 50 digress like other phones due to biggest vapor chamber than any phones around that distribute heating from battery.

Battery life is indeed a deal-breaker here. Several of the Samsung users owning the Exynos version have complained about the terrible battery life. If you can get the SD855 go for it. I have mixed feelings about the S10+, after switching from the P30 Pro I was highly impressed by the screen, fluidity and video performance of the S10+. What I can however say is that I am not too impressed by Battery performance and the still photography needs a bit of work. Overall Samsung has always offered a good recipe that just works. Its not a bad phone by any means but there are definitely areas that can be improved.

I feel like Samsung has been very good with their phones lately. While there is the S7 problem, everything else has been designed well for a more powerful, affordable, and high-end phone. I know that this usually isn't a good thing, but I like how using the wide-angle lens vertically distorts images because it widens it the other way. Some people will argue that the Samsung phones are bad because they are not reliable and that they rush to get things done. But I think that if it works, it's okay.

I have been using Samsung S10+ since launch day. Haven't experience a lag/ sluggishness, but have seen decrease in battery life. I think Samsug has finnaly got their act together and made a good phone. Tbh i prefer this over my old Iphone 7+. These days you use android or IOS, they both are as good as each other. It just depends upon personal/ eco-system preference. I would say to people that there is nothing to hate about any eco-system, if you enjoy using one, then just go and use it rather than bad-mouthing the other eco-system. After S8, Samsung got their stuff together. Samsung UX / One UI has improved dramatically in terms of performance. They're able to optimise it properly. However, it still isn't as fluid as as Google's stock ROM or OnePlus OxygenOS but the speed is plentiful. I have read many comments about their S8's, S9's and S10's being laggy but those are just the small crowd out of the many who have normally functioning phones. There are problems that can cause this such as faulty apps or slow internal storage speeds (due to heavy usage) which isn't really unique to Samsung. A simple restart, remove bloatware or factory reset should do the trick. If you're still worried about the software, then you'll have to get your hands dirty and install custom ROMs. Now I'm not sure about the midrangers long term performance but I'm quite optimistic. I used to be a Samsung hater but when you think about it, they still have the best hardware for ages. Now I actually like them...except for the exorbitant prices of some.

I just playing around with my brother's brand new S10+. Surprisingly the One UI still got the stutter & a bit laggy effects sometimes, just like older UI, especially upon unlocking & swipe to Bixby page. And he complains a lot about the FPS inconsistency. Comparing camera image quality with my Mate 20, looks like Mate 20 a lot better, especially low lights. Display & video recording superior on S10+ though. But Mate 20 1080p video quality are neck to neck with the S10+.

Okay, so despite my grumbles in the S9+ thread, re the drawbacks of the S10 series, I went and traded-in/up for the S10 Plus (trade-in offer too good, additional 10% off and lots of birthday money. New toys and all that... :-)). As many others have echoed, it's a tad faster, the camera is largely the same except for the new ultrawide angle, it's lighter than the S9+ and the new trim (I bought the Prism Blue) makes it stand out. The pill hole isn't an issue in day-to-day use. However, the biggest issue like others is over the ultra-sonic FP reader. It was an absolutely nightmare to even set-up; it kept saying to press harder. It felt like I was going to break the screen at one point. It simply wasn't registering my (right) thumb and my index finger only worked with again, excessive pressure. I then got my girlfriend to attempt it. Lo and behold, it accepted her pinkies / thumb without any real strain. Eh? So, tried again. I eventually managed to get a thumb done. NB: I have NOT removed the factory installed protector. Then, trying to unlock in normal use, it barely works. "Press a little harder" or "cover the entire sensor" being the 2 responses. Not a great start and seriously, considered sending it back. But oddly though, once in the device itself, Samsung Pay, Pass, my HSBC banking app all accept my fingerprint w/o problems. I am ultimately only managing to unlock (when wanting to use the FP reader), ONLY if I've applied hand-cream to my thumb in particular. Then, it works fine. So, unless you have baby soft skin all round, you may well struggle with this and then decide to use the (very fast) Facial Recognition option instead. Go figure.... Any (finger) tips welcomed!

Totally agree if the camera end was more improved then Samsung all the way. But I've always found that it is oversaturated and not natural colours. Not to mention live focus is off accuracy too. There are areas of an outline blurry which doesn't naturally blur the background. Where as iPhone XS MAX is 100% top marks in the portrait area and camera itself

S10+ vs Note9...I prefer Note9. I think Note9 is more future-proof subjectively because there is less complaints. Personally, I like lot sensors placed in the bezel, they help! SD855 vs SD845 for an ordinary user (like me too), yes it is different on the paper but it is not different practically. SD845 has already been proved in performance for at least a year. The battery...it is so difficult to anwers honestly.

Don't get the iphone, my XS is so laggy and the screen flickers cos Apple cannot optimise the OLED screen. Furthermore the battery lasts 2 hours and goes to 20% from a full charge and you dont even have a fast charger in the box. I should have waited for the P30 pro or the excellent S10 plus. Not only that but Apple is always getting hacked. Remember celeb photos were hacked easily.

Upgraded from S8+ to S10+ and it has been the most underwhelming upgrade for me ever. Actually miss the grooved fingerprint scanner at the back of the S8. Effortless compared to the target practice required for S10. No significant difference in camera. Phone speed only slightly better. I am still struggling to see why I chose to start making payments on a new phone when I was just a few months away from finishing payments on my S8. To convince me even further, I tried to use the S10+ as a hotspot for another device and saw it on the network still showing as S8+. What more proof do you need?

Both also nice, p30 pro is good in low light photography, night shot, and also the optical zoom, due to the powerful hardware support, you will have more fun when using p30 pro to take photos. Whereas, S10+ has better media entertainment setting, 2k resolution dynamic amoled screen, dual speaker, 3.5mm audio jack, and also it has very nice video shooting setting. By looking at the battery life, p30 pro has 4200mah battery, with 40w fast charging, whereas s10+ has 4100mah battery , with 15w fast charging (can be upgraded to 25w in the futures). So, it is all depend on your preference. Setting problem? try set the graphics at smooth instead of ultra hd, then frame rate adjust to "Extreme". The "Extreme" frame rate option only enable when your graphics is set to the "smooth". I use this setting on my p30 pro, no frame drops at all unless the network is not good enough.

If your concern is just battery, the batery issue is the unsolved problem since the smartphone era. So difficult to judge how good the battery among the brands. They all may be different on the paper but it is truly depend on our usage. So, if you are using Samsung for long time and using its watch or anything too, you should buy S10+. If not, buy a new brand will give you other new experience. They both are the best so far.

hmm... from my experience. been a samsung fan since... well basically forever. lol. one thing i always complain is battery tbh. im on their Note and casually tries their S, what i observe, i dunno for others all right, dont take this as absolute truth buddy. what i observed is that well after several months i keep i having battery drain issues. every purchase, thats my only complain everytime. i am not the one who tinkers on my phone. last year, my note 8 disappointed me big time, when i needed it the most in the office it just shut down because of low power, its not even that low batt and i have to charge it to be able to switch it on. thats the reason i skipped last years note, i was just basically full of it. tried an apple xs last year as an alternative bwehh.. after less than a month i sold to my office mate. i cant handle ios tbh. then i heard this poco frenzy going on, tried it. after few days i sold, look cheap for my liking tbh. then after a "decade" lol, of finding the one that best suit my battery needs, i settled with mate 20 pro, its quite excellent with battery life tbh. its one of the reason i skipped s10, its battery really is good. the other reason being the note 10. i hope it doesnt disappoint. i will be switching to note 10 this year or if mate 30 have something good to offer, ill bite since that brand already got my trust anyways. not a heavy user too. im jusing my phone majority for work, photos/videos and social media. no games, not a gamer.

I Bought the phone last month and was complaining a lot about battery, just to clarify those comments of mine, battery is getting better day by day, i guess its because the apps and battery is calibrated after some charging cycles and updates. on heavy to moderate use it goes a day and quarter on single charge. and on light to moderate use i get 2 days now. Camera is superb. hole punch is better than a notch. nothing to complain about. two thumbs up.

I have an s10 plus. Sorry to say I am really disappointed in its camera. I also own a pixel 2 xl and the rear and selfie cams are much much sharper than the s10 plus. So much so in fact that I'm returning my s10 plus and will probably get a p30. I am no camera expert I've only done basic shots but in day and low light the pixel 2 xl outperforms the s10 plus given the fact it's a phone from 2017 it's really disappointing on the s10 plus front. My partner has an iPhone xr and that too produces cleaner sharper images. The only thing the s10 plus is better at is video. Not sure how it gets such a high score. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just my opinion and I can only judge off photos taken of our little baby which is what we mainly use our camera phones for. But it just doesn't produce shots as good as it should in my opinion. I am not a Samsung hater either I'm just a disappointed customer to be honest. Seriously considering a p30 now.

I can definitely observe more huawei users here in our malls, parks and public vehicles. Reason why they changed to their NM card is to maximize space for other things including battery. NM card is alot smaller than microsd, and it is compatible with your pc via adapter. Only issue is its high price on amazon.com Still it's alot better than not having one at all like in P20 Pro in which i was dissapointed as well.

While you are dissapointed with S6 for SD removal, I am dissapointed with Huawei P30 Pro and any Huawei for removing microSD and getting their own NM card. I admited that I almost felt in love with P30 Pro until.....

I guess Huawei is the new Galaxy S now. Advantages of P30 Pro: 1) Better battery life 2) Better UI (not cartoonish like samsung's one ui) 3) IR blaster to control my Samsung TV for which I have lost my remote. 4) Much better camera in low light. 5) Much better zoom for outdoor hikes 6) Better gps as it supports Gallieo and others sattelites 7) Better fingerprint scanner as it doesn't need an ugly hole in my screen protector to work properly 8) Better loudspeaker as it uses new tech to cancel out almost all noise - very useful in loud environments like night clubs. 9) No gimmicks that take up battery space like headphone jack/heart rate sensor/barometer which is what my Galaxy Watch LTE is for and does better job than my S9+ 10) Much faster charging 11) More efficient 1080p screen to save battery (I keep my S9+ on FHD all the time) 12) More optimized since ALL P30 Pros use inhouse Kirin vs Samsung's half Exynos and half Snapdragon with each cpu/gpu features being cut down to match the other to keep them performing at similar level. 13) No ugly camera cutouts as Huawei provides an option (least on P30 Pro) to completely hide its front facing camera. I can go on all day.... Advantages of S10+: 1) Brighter and sharper screen for outdoor usage so you can drain your battery even faster. 2) Stereo speakers 3) I don't know maybe HDR10+ (when it actually works) but thats all i can think of really. I don't know what else. Please leave a comment in a section below. But to be honest, this is 2nd largest disappointing Galaxy S device in Samsung's history after Galaxy S6 ofcourse that removed sd card and waterproffing, but this one removes notification light and iris for a big black hole.... 🙁

hi i just saw in youtube that they are releasing a software update for night mode, and the camera itself, lets see how they pull this one out, i hope it improves the camera specially the night mode, just like pixel does with their software updates to improve it.

what kind of improvement has brought S10plus in the latest security patch? Nothing. Obviously Yes. No improvement is given, instead, the company is earning by giving an update. See by the end of March we received the March security update. When will we get April update? Ok, let it be. Camera especially in Night mode utmost grainy photos I have ever seen in the flagship such a worst photos. Dynamic range another awkward in S10 family even in Daylight photos.

Comparison between Galaxy S10+ and P30 Pro - Screen: S10+ (Samsung has excellent AMOLED screens, and the fact that P30 series uses Samsung screens is an undeniable testament to that. P30 Pro's OLED screen is very good too and is no slouch!) - Battery: P30 Pro (Huawei phones have excellent battery life and battery management processes, as proven by Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, partly due to its power efficirnt Kirin Processors. Battery life of Samsung phones are great too, but are known to degrade fairly fast, as I have used Galaxy Note8 in the past. My friends who are Samsung users also notice that too. Quantity and numbers do not solely determine the quality of the smartphone battery) - Charging Capabilities: P30 Pro (Both have fast charging, wireless/reverse wireless charging, but P30 Pro generally charge up slightly faster. To be frank, this is not really a feature that is worth comparing lol, having fast charging and fast chargers in the box makes both of these phones amazing already, unlike a certain fruit phone :/) - Processor: S10+, but must be SD 855 variant, Exynos is a big no go (Kirin 980 and SD 855 are very comparable, but in terms of other departments such as emulator gaming that utilizes more complicated graphic processes, SD 855 performs better and thus edges Kirin 980 out) - Storage Capabilities: S10+ (microSD cards are more accessible and cheaper than nanoSD cards, but that does not deny the fact that Mate 20 series and P30 series can still expand storage just as well, something that people always overlook and undermine Huawei about. I will give this to S10+ due to the greater availability of microSD cards worldwide) - Back Camera: To Be Determined, P30 Pro > S10+ on paper (particularly due to its phenomenal telephoto periscope camera that offers up to 5x optical zoom, and up to 50x digital zoom! Also, it is interesting to note that P30 series uses RYB sensors for its cameras as opposed to the conventional RGB sensor, which increases P30 cameras' light intake by up to 40% and hence allows P30 series to take better night shots, as claimed by Huawei. All to be tested and confirmed through comparisons) - Video Capabilities: To Be Determined, S10+ > P30 Pro on paper (S10+ can take 4K@60fps unlike P30 Pro) - Selfie Camera: S10+ no brainer (Huawei Selfie Cameras are generally poor due to absence of auto focus. Factory Screen protector for Samsung S10+ started to peal off after 17 days. When I took it off it was like cheap plastic like shrink wrap attached to the phone face.
