Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro - User Reviews

  • it's really great device I like it

  • It's not only Samsung that does the stuff with what you call "Bloatware" man every company from A like apple unti Z like ZTE have some bloatware in phone only excluded are the one with prject treble or android one program with pure clean android like Nokia phones, Motorola phones one plus etc. Pure android is always win win on any phone, shop, sale etc. And yes, Xiaomi still makes better and cheaper devices than Samsung, but this IS not a device FOR the AVERAGE Consumer. Xiaomi is device for averagee czustomer. Samsung is not for average customer reason is very simple. For example Note 10 by Samsung cost much over 1000 bucks. Genuinely same phone like Samsung galaxy note 10 with same S pen same internals same size battery memory ram cu gpu camera etc everythign genuinely same but with Xiaomi sticker on it and the final price will be not more than 500 or maybe 600. Average customer would buy the best device for best price. If we put in front gate to a very large shopping mall these two devices Xiaomi will outsell samsung because for a much better price the customer gets genuinely same device. Average customer will pay average price worth the specs. Only clumsy people still believe a brand name means something extra, add-on, special etc. This trend is long time history. And your mainn problem is you cant prove i am wring on this no matter what.

  • I actually read your reply now, and for the most part you are right. But still, there are people that rely on these type of tablets, and people that rely on products from Samsung, no matter how much they cost. A telecom provider will still buy 5G Networking Equipment from Samsung even if it still costs a lot. They will buy it because they need that 5G equipment, not because they want it cheaper, or better.

  • It's not only Samsung that does the stuff with what you call "Bloatware" Even Xiaomi has it's own files app ( which by the way has advertisements), even Xiaomi has it's own camera. If you don't like it then you can get whatever you want. Samsung will toss it's own apps on it's own devices. It's logical. If a company wants to profit (get people to use their apps) they will put their apps on their phones. Google on their Pixel Lineup has their apps installed. Huawei has too, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus... they all do. If you want to use G - Pay, you freely can use it. If you want to use Play Music instead of Samsung's music player you can at anytime. For example, i do not prefer Google Chrome for many reasons and i use Samsung Internet. It makes no sense for a manufacturer not to have their apps on their phone. I don't understand your point here... And yes, Xiaomi still makes better and cheaper devices than Samsung, but this IS not a device FOR the AVERAGE Consumer.

  • Man from Kitkat to marshmallow thats 2 updates even xiaomi does 2 updates and then their MUI they giving it even to 6-8 years old devices dunno what you thinking. Bloatware is also not a problem on galaxy devices, you can get rid of really any of the preinstalled apps. Actualy this is not true not every app can be erased like this. And rather have no bloatware than some. Even xiaomi selling android one program phones such as Xiaomi A series. The tablet itself is not meant for like crazy specs and such it's for someone who is working a job that needs a good protected device which this delivers. The Huawei tablet you mentioned is not as durable. This is actualy true but IP68 and MIL-STD certification is not that expensive. Paying 500 more for having more durable tablet is plain crap. Know plenty of touchphones or other tablets which arent that expensive and have IP68 and MIL-STD certification. If the price to make one is 150 and is sold for 700 it only means how greedy samsung is.

  • G. Tab Active pro is adding new thing only water resistant, the Chip is still weak, Color is low. A good option for me is cellular connectivity with LTE, big battery, the ram 4G

  • I had a galaxy tablet that got updated from 4.4 kitkat all the way to marshmallow. Samsung offers software updates for a long time depending on what you get. Bloatware is also not a problem on galaxy devices, you can get rid of really any of the preinstalled apps. The tablet itself is not meant for like crazy specs and such it's for someone who is working a job that needs a good protected device which this delivers. The Huawei tablet you mentioned is not as durable.

  • No its samsung. If i have google chrome why i need samsung internet??? Or Samsung pay if i have a google pay or G-Pay. And there are tons of samsung apps which are absolutely same. Man apps you mentoided are google apps not samsung related apps like Samsung internet with their respective icon, samsung health, bixby, samsung pay and so on. Stop trying to find every single small thing just to bash Samsung because they make overpriced and not worth devices. There's the competition (Xiaomi, Huawei, Apple, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, etc...), and it's their job to do that. Man truth is they make overpriced and not worth devices for same price xiaomi can make 2 tablets with equal quality and at least 30% better specs than this one have. Major difference between samsung and others is samsung cant sell cheap. Samsung ceo earns per day more than your whole family earns in year. And because of a life on a super high heels they cant sell cheap.

  • Samsung never had pure bloatware lmao. You probably misleaded them, and wanted to say Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, etc...?? The only bloatware i have on my Galaxy A50 is an Indian all, probably for chatting and dating, as far as i saw, and i instantly uninstalled it. Yes i was able to uninstal that app. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't consider pre - installed Google apps, and Microsoft apps bloatware apps, as in my case i use most of Microsoft's apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and also lots of other Google apps too. This tablet isn't targeting your children, you, your mother, your sister, your friend or anyone else. It's targeting your dad's boss, your mothers boss, your cousin which works in a construction company, etc etc... It's basically for business, work, tough conditions, experimental usage, etc... Not for an average consumer. You want similar specs for normal usage?? Then go buy a cheaper device, there are tons of these out on the market. Stop trying to find every single small thing just to bash Samsung because they make overpriced and not worth devices. There's the competition (Xiaomi, Huawei, Apple, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, etc...), and it's their job to do that. And by the way, that thing about your mother, father, etc... that was purely for an example purpose.

  • Beastly Samsung device, only hope the price is fair. ^_^

  • looks like a horizontal tab s3

  • Well doogee is a phone but what is tablet??? Its a phone with bigger screen. It have same things like phone just is bigger with bigger screen and usualy bigger battery, But apart from that is still a phone capable of calling, mesagging and other things which any phones does.

  • Man softwre updates OS updates not UI which in case of samsung is pure bloatware as always.

  • The specs are quite good and battery life is going to be amazing. samsung also did a good job by adding IP68. But a higher display resolution and a larger amount of RAM would have been better.

  • I have an A50 from june and I got already 4 updates till now

  • Read this: And tell me who's funny then. At least I'm not saying nonsense without anything to back it up... Also there's use cases where you need a tablet and rugged laptops are not desirable. Rugged laptops tend to be very very bulky, so not portable. They're just transportable. Please don't compare phones to tablets thank you... That Doogeee S90 is a phone.

  • Yeah... It may work better, but I prefer not to buy from a company famous for spying scandals. You could call it a "preference".

  • Confirmed??? You are funny. No Samsung device got more than 2 OS updates. Not even the flagship ones. And MIL-STD and IP68 dont cost 400 more bucks. There are tons of other durable tablets for half the price but with same or better specs. Also phones. Doogee S90 for 350 euros is a good example. One of few devices in existence with IP69K and is a big phone with a big screen and battery. And rather than tablet i would recomend a durable laptop.

  • Thanks for not reading and proving my point. This tablet is not for gullible people easily impressed by a specs list without any regard to actual usage. This tablet is for serious work. It's not a toy. It's not meant to impress anyone. It's meant to do business. The MediaPad M6 Turbo only has 2GB of RAM more than the M6. Wow so much for innovations and new technologies... Also it was confirmed this device will get 4 years of updates. If anything, this is impressive and awesome that the device will be durable hardware and software-wise.

  • Man you are funny. This tablet by Huawei offers much better specs for half the price. And Huawei means Quality developement innovations and nnew technology. Samsung have nothing to impress and failed to offer something awesome for that price range.

  • You're not the target audience. Don't worry. Your Redmi K20 or whatever you're trying to offload to your poor and misled customers will serve you well for the few brief moments it was built to withstand. This device is for B2B. Serious customers.

  • 600 euros for a specs worth 200 euros dont tell me that IP68 and MIL-STD cost 400 bucks.

  • Basically a big variant of A20 + IP68. 600 EUR for this? Nah.
