I had i300 and now i have D900.D900 is not as smart as i300 but it is smart.but i300 has a very bad battery.both batery use for one complet busy day!i don't know about i310.please tel me about battery and camera of i300 and blutooth version and speed of blutooth because the speed of i300 was bad.and also i300 has not many program on it from begining.i love samsung.

wonderful phone 8gb very good and also Windows Mobile5 amd 64mb memory the screen is 65k but it has a perfect resolution which makes it look perfect i think this is well designed and fast "thinking" phone you know some smartphones don`t "think" fast at all.the only bad thing about it is that i cant find it in Bulgaria :(

8gb wow! But the 65k is due 2 windows mobile it doesnot 256k.windows os is great better than symbian ones. If compared with n95 this phone score more u have 2 choose between a gps 5mp camera(n95) and a 2mp 8gb memory.

@XGHOST whats the point to have enough space to store 1000 songs if samsung does not allow you to put more than 30 songs per playlist and you cant have more than 3 playlists which makes up to 90 songs...on a 8gb phone...pretty waste unless you put mp4(video) but samsung battery suc**(no really)

This phone is one of the best: 1. The memory-wow u can store over 1000 full and best quality mp3 s. 2. The display. Even with 65k the 240x320 resolution makes the display superb. u can see an quality avi mouvie. 3. WM the most important... The OS makes the phone more flexible even than a symbian os phone. 4. The camera. For me doesnt count but is ok. For those who whant a new phone and they whant (mp3s, mouvies, internet (edge makes it faster) and many applications and games (super emulated games like quake 3, doom, etc.) + that its a phone not a pc or pda, its small in comparison to other, and has a good camera. So go 4 it... I will... I hope its lower than 500 euro

@sopo Both i300 & i300x are windows mobile 2003 SE...it supports 256k. i310 is windows mobile 5. The operating system does not allow more than 65k. The screen itself is 256K actually.

Bill, plz don't confuse other readers by making your futile attempts to bring this phone down. Does Nokia make mp3 players? Nope, but Samsung does. They also implemented SRS WOW technology on this phone, and equipping it with REAL mp3 chip. As for sound quality, i310 gets a headstart over N91. P.S: Nokia earphones are just detestable!

i310 has NO FCC APPROVAL and NO Bluetooth Qualification Certificate so HOW can it be available when it's scheduled for Q4 of 2006 and it is the i300X which only just became available!!

well..yes an am/fm radio would be a nice feature. however, unlike europeans and american s where technology is so far behind, many asian phones no longer include fm tuner/radios since it is no longer widely used. video clips, tv, and mp3 players have now replaced it.

if you have a look for this site you will find it says the battery time is the same for the previous I300 but not clear fro this site if it has the same two baterries or not? but anyway i think that the smartphones with large hard drives capacities and cameras will not have long time batteries and if you dont believe remember the average time for laptops batteries around 2 hours?!

I think in Korea, they got so many other stuff to play around with that they simply dont feel like listening to redio. Lol. But yeh when they are releasing it worldwide they should add it. After all radio still makes sense for the rest. When we will have TV, multimedia, music, online games, video call, online banking blah blah blah along with other usual stuff, Im sure you wont find time to listen to radio and stop complaining.

Everyone has some issues with 65k color screen....and its not with the manufactures ..its with microsoft windows mobile 5. Except Gigabyte no one has 256k color screen running on windows mobile 5. Interestingly even windows mobile 3 supports 256k. They have to short out the problem.

in my opinion i like the design of this better as the nokia n91 is bigger and heavier. don't get me wrong but i like the features of the nokia n91 but it is the size and weight of it. imo i don't like the shape of the nokia n91. if the samsung i300 played AAC and OGG files i'm pretty sure that this will too. as long as it has EDGE i don't mind if it has no 3G or Wifi. At least the internet will have a faster speed now than on the internet on the i300. tv out will be great for parties.

Even if you get software to play AAC+ on da i310 it will: 1). slow the phone 2). Da ID3 v1.0 & ID3 v2.0 tagging will not be supported (Very Long Names, whereas NOKIA its supports it automatically) 3). It will freeze the song sometime coz samsung are not good phones wen it comes to OS system. IT DOESNT STAND A CHANCE AGAINST N91

Actually da future will be AAC+ v2.0, coz its better than MP3, WMA, OGG. Coz MP3 CD Quality --> is 128kbps 44100hz, Stereo AAC+ CD Qaulity -> is 32kbps 44100Hz, Stereo Look at the diffrence between the two & AAC+ will be used in future phones espcially NOKIA. Other mobile dont support this yet wat a shame....

Ah ha..and I wonder who will go though such hassle to convert a regular mp3 to AAC+. Frankly 8GB is quite a lot of space..and chances are, not many people will be storing them as AAC+ at all. ACC+ might help save some space in ur ugly N91. With this i310 its' just fine. period.

Da Samsung is crap phone although it has 8GB it wont be able to store as many Stereo Music as the N91 although the N91 has 4GB due to the following reason: i310 Supports AAC,WMA,MP3 N91 Supports AAC,AAC+ v1.0,AAC+ v2.0,eAAC,MP3,OGG With AAC+ v2.0 you can compress ur music in Stereo at 32kbit/s, 44100Hz & it will be the same as standard 128kbps, 44100Hz, Stereo. With this format (AAC+ v2.0) you can store 2 songs per 1MB were as Samsung i310 doesnt stand a chance at all no way near to the N91. If u want more info on the AAC+ email me ill send you a song in Stereo in the following format --> MP3,OGG,WMA,AAC+ v2.0 n you can decide wats da best compression ratio for the best output result. I agree that this may be the death of the N91... the N91 may look kewl, but it doesnt have 8gb with expanable memory.... cue the death march... i like the N91 but this i310 Kicks Butt with both feet and a judo chop... 3 thumbs up ;-)

its a good fone everytin doh prices are gonna b high. every1 wants it 4 its 8gb but put that 2 one side it has 65k screen. I mean poor colour screen.

nice one will it have the same video recording resolution as the samsung d600? if it does that would be class! 8GB is plenty of storage for me (2GB for songs, 4GB for movies and 2GB for pictures, games, camera pictures+videos). can't wait. its gonna cost a bit though but it will be well worth it if they improve on the battery life this time of course. just a pity it didn't have the battery life of an ipod :(

bury your nokia n91's (well u cant cos they haven't even come out with them yet ... stupid nokia people dont even kno wat they're doing) samsung i310 wit 8 gigabyte hard drive and what more : its smaller , better screen resolution and just amazin, aand it has a 2 megapixel camera... i'll bet you anything samsung will bring out this fone b4 nokia ( yet again) then the n91 will really eat this fone's dust

Wah 8G is quite interesting. But can the micro-p afford to support it? Else no point to have such a big storage wheares the speed drop. That, it will take you few minutes to search and play for one song. Do u enjoy it at that time? hahaha......
