Sorry, No you can not. there is no internal GPS receiver. the screen is too small. the processor is too slow. and no Garmin version for this machine. Your best choice is Google Maps ,which use GSM BTS triangulation.

I like this phone, because it has many good functions and it's easy to use. But the bad thing with this phone is that the receiving is not good. Even 3G doesn't help where I live, so therefore I can't use it anymore, at least not at home. I've tried other phones with better receiving, but I don't like them. I want this phone, but with better receiving! The other bad thing with this phone is the sound while listening to music, almost no bass. The good thing is that it's durable. I've had it for 1,5 year, and nothing is broken, never any problem with anything. I always keep the handsfree connected to it, so it's easy to just pick it up and answer. And I haven't been careful at all with it, but it's still not broken. So I'm so sorry this phone doesn't work where I live, because i can't find any other phone as good as this, (exept from the bad receiving...)

hi this phone rocks! i can play mp3,videos, save msg and phnebook on MicroSD card. although it has 40mb internal memory. but i put 4g of micro SD and it works well. i just love this phone, if you are a samsung fanatic you might be love this one. sleek design. just love it the way it looks. just use Bluetooth stereo headset for music and Bluetooth headset for calling, so the charger/headset port will not be damage or be shaky. i think it depends on the user how to use it. as for me i really love this phone =) it looks so beautiful =)

WHy don't you try to download games from smart or globe 3G? The only thing is The games there are for sale. I got one game from Smart 3G man and it cost me Php50. With regards with the signal, I'm not sure man, but I noticed that my j200 could not get a high signal even if i'm located in metro manila. I even have problems sometimes when somebody calls me from abroad. Better ask the guys from samsung about this.

This phone rocks, baby! The design is nice, shiny black like my shoes. Reception is acceptable, internet browsing is good (depends on the place, though). Except if you use this phone to browse too long, it produces considerable heat. Like mine it becomes so hot that it fries my SIM card!! So, careful on using it as modem.

your welcome :) if i see the specification of samsung f250 is a good phone, but im curious about the capacity battery it just 800maH, the battery life will reduce quickly - i think u will charge daily if u are a hard user like taking photos to much - but if u are a moderate user just play mp3 several times, i think this can match with your need have a nice day

Think again if u wanna buy this one. I'm using this phone since march 08..and now the phone always restart when i try to turn it off, batt life is easily drop,usb/headset connector is pretty shaky,signal reception is weak,internet connections via 3g on operamini very slow,and the earpiece are not working anymore so i receive calls only with loudspeaker turn on!!

- sorry, im mistake in typing "LG KG250", i want correction that, the truth is LG KU250 all of features in LG KU250 is similiar with Samsung J200. - yes J200 can capture videos with CIF resolution, but i think not good enough because the frame rate is very low, to optimize the photos & videos u must capture photos/videos in a good lightning condition & for stability be gentle, slowly when u move your phone.

- i heard samsung j200 cannot play mp3 from memory card, if we want play mp3 we must stored mp3 in phone memory. - the battery life is good enough if we use call/sms/mp3, but if we use for internet/the phone become modem to PC/take photos/videos the battery will drop fast, but if u treat well u can safe more the battery life - if u have a minimize budget but wanna a good phone with rich features u should buy this phone, another option is LG KG250 it have same features - but if u have a little bit more budget i recommended nokia 6120classic

it's OK if your phone's camera is only 1.3 MP, what's wrong with that?, you don't need 3.2 MP camera unless you got that drop dead look, which I bet you don't so wake up and smell the world

your phone may support the format of the file but if the bitrate is too high the phone wont play it especially for music files, as far as i know, my samsung wont play mp3 files with bitrates higher than 128 kbps, it DOES play songs with higher bitrates like 320 kbps but you gotta save the song file in the phones memory not the ext. memory

I'd like to know 3 things: first, is the charger compatible to D880 and J700? I have those and it's great to have one single charger for all my mobile phones. Second, are the fields in phone number fixed? Or like J700, D880, F250 and G600, can you change the fields to whatever you like (all mobile, for instance)? And finally, I hate mobiles that can't fit 8 digits in one line. In Brazil all ordinary phone numbers are 8 digits long and I refuse any mobile that can't show all 8 number in a single line. Thanks!

Even I am a jailbird now, it won't keep my hands out using this Samsung SGH j200. A great phone with a great price for 3G. My quirk is that it is difficult to type the " and ' in English language quickly, so it is a tad to press the OPTIONS button first to access Symbols. Anyhow by using the 3G Broadband I can watch TV and see those stupid authorities trying to catch me.

About a month ago i made a post here saying how the battery life was really bad. But after a few cycles on the battery, the battery life is good. I'm very happy with the increased battery life and overall this phone is very hard to beat for the price.

I have buy this phone about 3 week and i'm using 2 Gb micro sd, it work normally... Phone gone little slowly if internal memory full or used about 75%. If internal memory has big free space, the phone is gone faster. Now i'm using about 25% of internal memory. By the way this is a powerfull phone with a nice font and user interface. Thank You Samsung.

Bought this phone last January 2008 in Indonesia. Here are my reviews: 1. A 3G cellphone with a very affordable price. 2. The design is definitely better than KU250. I like the smooth, round edge. The shape is also shorter. 3. Loading music is faster than KU250 (although I haven't tested it with a full MicroSD card) 4. Like the multitasking feature very much. Browse menus and receive incoming calls while listening to music. 5. There are 5 different alarms that you can set up, this is very useful for me who need several alarms to wake me up in the morning! 6. Music quality is good when using headset. If using speakers, I think KU250 produce slightly better and louder sound 7. With 1.3MP camera, pictures are pretty sharp. But it's difficult to make a sharp picture when every time you press the button, the camera shakes a little and the picture will blur. Duh! 8. No radio. Too bad.

This phone is great. It support animated wallpaper and also have a document viewer. For internet browser i am using opera 4. You can installing java apps by internet download. And this phone has a fast performance. It has around 2,2 mb free space of RAM from total 2,5 mb. Not bad.

@Alex, I hope you are not still looking how to add the email id to a contact... i am sure you would hav tried can you please try going to the phone book, picking the contact to whom u want to add an email id, choose the option edit, and if u scroll down u will the emial field.. hope u can find it.

This is samsung forum. dont mention other brands. my friend has nokia n72 which has very slow navigation speed with poor sound quality. i am not impressed with nokia. tell other mobile in same price range of j200. and i am sure that you cant find these features of j200 in any other mobile at this very low price.

can samsung have any big sound (mp3 in speaker) mobile like sony,moto,nokia,lg,spice,and nokia. compare to any of yhis companies samsung dont have sound in speakers. specially for us(indians) suggession to samsung to launch something like extra plug in speakers for samsung mobiles. so that can be used to any mobile like ultra series and metal series means same chargers like nokia`s6233m and sony`s w810s mps speakers.
