I hav read all the opinions .I think this is cool ph. If I buy a sim free phone from Italy or other europian country ,will it work in Bangladesh. Any body help me about TIM personalized. What is that??????

ive had this phone for a few months now battery life is great sound is good (has the typical if you move the speaker wrong spot on ear you hear almost nothing though not a big deal) sound for calls is great ringtones could be louder and better and let me use mp3 ringtones, att is terrible when switching from EDGE to 3G and vice versa that is the only time i ever drop calls and other weird things happen with it. no screen to destroy on the outside. only bad thingis clock doesnt display 24/7 have to hold side button down for 2 seconds and it pops up

This phone is one of the most stylish and beautiful phones I have ever seen. Camera is superb, construction is solid and well made. Keyboard is a bit hard to use but when you use you will get used to it. A great gadget from Samsung.

Ooh, I really appreciate Samsung doing something different for their camera-placement. This one rotates, so you would no longer need to test your judgement on crappy convex mirrors or small external screens for that all important self-shot, haha. This actually solves that particular problem splendidly. Camwhoring users like myself would definitely appreciate being able to see myself on a clear TFT 240x320 screen! And it works very nicely in a convetional sense too, when you are photographing something. My only gripe is that connection hinge. My own experience with these kind of 'partial' hinges, be it with phones, laptop, etc tells me that the stress is too great on the connection parts, with these kind of partial hinges. Even worst, there is a camera in the middle, so the top part of the clamshell is actually only anchored to the rest of the phone at only 2 tiny points! That hinge is not going to hold up well. I really think it needs a full hinge, like that of a Razr maybe? What do you guys think?

this phone is SEXY~~~ even though i'm a samsung freak... D830 was a big disappointment buti believe this device is lot better than the d830 because i want it!!!! and flash... hmm it does not have flash.. but i can deal with it who cares.. its not like i'm going to take pictures at night all the time... it's koo Samsung you guys are just marvelous!!!! i think i spelled it wrong but who cares

Try using the latest phone from Samsung, u be surprised at how friendly it is. The only major weakness for all samsung phones are their weak batteries. Functionalities: well it's their marketing ploy to target variety of segments rather than a small group of people.

ur right! samsung is really boring and has tired me way way back.... they tend to compromise the feature for the size they really should start making fresh designs and more capable clamshells and hopefully bigger though not bulky perhaps like an n series but the samsung way??

@2FyE Its common sense to think that its Not about "saving money" rather its "saving battery". they are using 630mAh battery. It will be a waste of battery to have a big external screen, then some people will cry foul that the battery sucks. I read in previews that the keypad is hard to use.I wont say its Ugly though.

Ugly looking with small keypad keys plus a tiny external screen....what is Samsung doing?... Save money?... Try to be outstanding?... Or out of new idea? Maybe Samsung should go to steal some design idea from Motorola(I am not a big fan of Motorola phones because of their difficult menu....Nokia's menu is the best; but Motorola R&D department is really doing a great job).

Very similar to the D830, only additional feature by the looks of it is the VGA Video call camera. Its thicker aswell, not much different, still a good phone though.
