Build quality damn good it withstand even after lot of droppings. +No hanging at all performance is good. +/-Average Camera but in good light conditions captures good images,selfie camera also good but both are perform very bad in low light -Battery backup is low need to charge several times a day. +finger print sensor gives fast response. + hifi music gives good & clear sound experience on both speaker and Ear phone. +/- Software gives different experience, up-to 2years the gives soft ware updates for once in several month. -Price slightly high ,I purchased it on Retail store for 16k on June 2016

The body design is very classy and the cp performance is excellent, with that whooping 3gb RAM, which means I can open different apps at the same time without lagging my phone..excellent for multitasking and high-resolution gaming. The camera quality is very good and the phone is very handy. I highly recommend this phone. No regrets.

  • I was offered this phone locally as a replacement for my ageing Blackberry. The bad parts first: 1. BATTERY IS VERY WEAK AND GETS EXPENDED WITHIN 2 HOURS. I went to the service centre and they updated by completely formatting the phone. Ran OK for 2 months, and then again the battery issue started. By the way the Calcutta centre takes 2.5 hours for software update. 2. Phone heats up easily and I suppose that's why the battery goes bad so fast. The Goods: Extremely user friendly. But I remember someone knowledgeable once saying that a phone is only as good as its battery life. I am personally not going to purchase any VIVO or OPPO phones ever, they are same company, by the way. They sell phones by ads and commission to dealers.

  • Using this phone for more than 6 months good looks and build quality no lag no hanging issues a moderate camera, good screen quality you won't be able to tell that it's only HD ready (720p) not true HD (1080p), played heavy games no lags there, heats up a bit while heavy gaming but so does the other phones, this one does a bit higher more than a bit sometimes, battery is actually disappointing but manageable, but at least it's better than other pricy phones of vivo there you won't even get a Snapdragon as this one have, Overall it's good if you get it below at or below 14,500

  • overall a very good phone as i informed in my previous post... only problem I saw is its dual sim does not work properly. For example if you are talking on sim 1 and someone calls you on sim 2 then caller of sim 2 would get the message as number switched off or not reachable. I called vivo service center regarding this and they its by default in vivo... when one sim is active on call another sim is nonfunctional...quite disappointing for a dual sim phone

Internal memory can be expanded till 128 GB.It has a fingerprint sensor which is working lightening fast.It supports hd videos 720p x 1280p. Its front camera is 8 mp and rear camera is 13 mp. This phone has a junk cleaning app named imanager.,there is no need to download any other apps.This phone sim card and memory card is removable only with a pin. It has super saver mode which saves your battery life when it is about to die and screen shot mode with 4 variants.But,the only problem with this phone is that if we use this phone for an hour continuosly this phone is getting overheated. I've bought vivo v3 on August 14th last year.This phone is awesome

I purchased Vivo V3 on 21st December, as of now I have not yet faced any hanging problem or heating problem in this phone as being mentioned by many members here....its running smoothly without any problem...yes agree battery starts getting reduced faster but still with all internet and phone calls usage it gives you approx 2 days which is not bad considering I am using it on 4G connection. In super saver mode which activates when your battery level is 10% I am amazed to see the duration it lasts, I even remember of talking 23 minutes in super saver mode when battery was just left 1%.... so overall though not a great battery life but not a bad too... I am quite satisfied with this phone...

  • vivo v3 is not worth it. bought it on June 2016 and it keeps on slowing and slowing everyday. it also keeps on hanging. it had a major lag twice and on the 15th of January it can't be opened! 1 day after, it opens then I restarted it to make sure that everything will be back to the default settings. now, I can't install the apps that I like fearing that it would happen again. just simple apps. it's also expensive for a phone that often hangs. I don't recommend this phone. the camera is not good too. aside from hanging, it's also very slow. I don't know when it will hang again. the update is also slow. my money was terribly wasted. I should've purchased another phone. much cheaper phone. I'm not gonna buy a vivo again. :-( NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

  • recently (in nov-2018) we brought both phones. for me vivo v3 and my family oppo. Vivo v3 one cannot use more than 5 min. It heats up like anything, and take enormously long time to come down. YOu cannot watch any movie using vivo due to its heating up problem. Its also hangs often. restart is problem in vivo. All these problems are not there in oppo. thank god, we brought two oppo and one vivo.

  • Good phone with good performance and battery life compared to other phones. Only problem is with the software update cycle. There is no clarity on this part whilst other vendors are ahead in this aspect. Agreed that vivo did not promise that it will adhere some specific upgrade cycle. But customers want something new always as the current upgrade cycles for hardware or software is pretty fast. Next time will not look for this brand anymore.

After downloadIng i went to file manager and searched for the file where it saved and opened it . My phone got updated to 1.8.20 and after my processor was 1.5ghz

  • Its not supported in any vivo phone. The same goes for Oppo, Xiaomi and Oneplus. Not many chinese phone support native video calling. It not like they even need one. Most people these day prefer to use cheaper option like third party apps. Skype is unneccessarily your first option. Some of us use Whatsapp, Hangouts, Wechat, Line, and such. Do you even know how much carrier charge for 1minutes of video call anyway? Its like 100 times more expensive than a normal voice call! Thats the main reason why no one use native video call unless you are the top 1% of the rich and famous people in the world.

  • Been using it for a month. I m a heavy user. This phone is just awesome. Its so butter smooth. Mutli tasking, power management, everything is just awesome. And the fingerprint sensor is just too good. I have run heavy games like Gta:SA, MC5, NfsMW, Asphalt8, Hitman sniper, Sky gamblers side by side to test its multi tasking abilities. And man i was just amazed. It ran all these games at the same time with ease. I could switch back to any game in a flash. So this phone is for those who love multi tasking smoothly. Its really smooth. I love it.

  • I have been using Vivo V3 for 2 days now. So far so good. Though the front CAM is not that impressive, back CAM is quite okay. I downloaded some games expecting a faster processor but sometimes it logs eventhough the internet connection is stable. Battery lasts long if you don't play games or surf the net more often of course. I wasnt expecting big to this product because its not that expensive however the item reached beyond my expectations and gives bigger justice to what I paid for. I hope the its good performance will last for long though because most phones perform good only in the beginning. I rate this item to 7/10.

  • I have been using Vivo V3 for over a month and I am really impressed. The BEST part about this phone is its software FunTouch OS. It has tons of feature to make everyday use of phone very easy. V3 has built in call recorder and call blocker . It has excellent security features. It has built in firewall and app locker. The call quality is very nice. The 3GB ram helps in smooth operations. Camera is statisfactory with nice video features such as ability to shoot video is slow motion as well as fast motion. Gaming too is decent with no lag or major heat up issues. Battery life is bit on minus side. The built in video player has the same features as Mx Player. Hence I did not feel the need to install it. Overall a very good phone

And also the audio chip of V3 is of very mediocre quality and Vivo never does any android version upgrades.

  • Got Vivo v3 yesterday. I kinda love this phone. Touch is awesome. Look is great. No heating issues. No Lag. It's actually faster than fast. Too good speed. Camera quality is good, I ll not say great but it's good. If you are buying for camera go for Oppo f1. Music volumes is too good and clear but no equaliser, not found yet. I heard ppl are dissapointed that Marshmallow update will not be available for Vivo V3, can I say something here, any phone which has been designed initially will work excellent till you update to next version of Android. Once updated to next version your phone starts getting issues, personal experience after updating to next version with all the devices I have used so far. So my opinion is if the Marshmallow is not coming it's good, your phone will perform better without any new issues. Fingerprint scanner is mind-blowing Battery is OK OK. If you are high end user battery will disappoint you. In 1 hour it consumes 12 to 10 pct battery on continuous usage. In standby in 6 hours it consumes 6 to7 pct which Is good. Battery if 100pct charged and if user is high end user the phone will stay alive for 10 to 12 hours but if average user than battery will last for 15 to 18 hours. Gesture works great. In short if you are looking for excellent camera, Battery which last for more than 20hrs and want marshmallow, this phone is not 4 u. It's an awesome phone to have otherwise in this price range.

I played Pokemon Go with V3 almost all day with one time recharge required in the evening. So, its battery is quite nice. No heating issue for me. My usage is mostly one Facebook, Phone call, SMS, Slack and Pokemon Go.

  • Hi this is sriram...i ve used vivo v3 letv 1s and redmi note 3 the letv and redmi is uncomparable....becoz the belong to different level...[i.e. amazing] and zenfone max is lot better than this...and doesn't heats much...and prices lower and the gaming performance is amazing and a only drawback with this is it does not have fingerprint sensor so...guys...the letv ,redmi,zenfone max is lot better than thia and costs lower

  • its a nice phone oppo fi has no fingerprint sensor but this phone has in tjis budget 32 gb much space v can insert both sims n memory card also camera features are awesome slim very cool phone no heating problems games works well like asphalt 8 , gangster vegas n lot more battery works well but only one con company should do fast charging for this phone it takes approx 3 hours to full battery charge.

  • Well, I'm using globe and it's LTE, I always got a 4G but still not working. My friends are also using the same network and they can play Pokemon go without problem. Also, when I checked my google map, there's no problem with it as my location is accurate. Just the Pokemon Go.

  • Hello.. how to keep app working or enable background? some app i am using in which i am getting problem such as while removing from recent app,that app auto disable and didnt show any notification.after that i had try it to enable from i Manager,but the problem is same for your reference that app name is (Namaaz Times).

  • Check whether those apps are running in background or not .go to battery usage ,go to optimise apps and check which apps are optimised and which are not apps which are optimised will not be running in background and which are not optimised will run in background . So turn on switch off mode to those apps under optimisation mode which are creating downloading problems

Though having 13 mp its quality is less than or around 5 mp camera & even motorola 8 mp camera is far..far...far much better or you can say best than this and its display is also like that, when you open any image it feels like the image is torn apart it feels like the image is stretched.....seriously feel like not have opted it. Better go for Huawei p9 lite
