  • OH MY WORD! Im so upset i bought this phone! wish i read this post before i done a stupid thing!

  • Nice

  • android for www.limofans.com china

  • great phone great look video quality excellent and nice amoled capacitive touch screen just lv it

  • By the way, I have updated the firmware to latest and still no good....may b some extra options but that doesn't really makes a big difference

  • I apologizes for my english but pls pls pls don't go for this phone. I have been using this for about 4 months and I was the one who used to recommend everyyyyyyyyy one to take this shit but now during the course of time, I wish I could go back to kill myself for not buying I-Phone. The Graphics is great, it takes the best mobile pics u have ever imagined, and no mention of its great great music experience. But after 4 months of time, I knwo the difference of paying a bit extra for I phone.....The platform sucks, takes long to start, slow and error prone, crashes frequently and finallyyyyyyyyyyyyy....the touch screen....trust me, after 4 months, it is now unable to respond once it is locked and in different spots and now I need to change the display. Am from Bangladesh and bought it without a plan as no VodaPhone in our country and ended up paying for the display which is rare and expensive. Pls don'd go for this set and one of my friend bought a same one with my recommendation and ended up with the same mess....non responding display

  • phone is the best when upgraded

  • this phone is slow, constantly freezes and doesn't work properly!

  • I have had this phone for nearly 9 months, and although at first glance it seems a good phone. Over time you will find that it is terrible, it is slow, it constantly crashes and in 9 months I can count the number of decent applications on one hand (and I still have a few fingers spare to tell Vodafone what I think of them) I'm locked into an expensive 18 month contract, take my advice and get a different phone.

  • limo is the new mobile software from linux!!! i'm sure you work for microsoft....

  • I have been using 360 H1 for last 7 days and my experience is fantastic. The phone is great, don't know why people are so negative about it.The design, software, Camera is just mind blowing. Thanks to Samsung.

  • i currently using sony ericsson g900 and i am thinking switching to this cell of vodafone.what do u guys say.is this any good.can i connect to facebook by using telenor.or any other isp

  • Please beware not buy phone as man in fodavone shop have big nasty pain in temples of his head when you need go return gadjet back his shop, he get very angerey when you stanping feet and toes demanding back cash.

  • i owned the phone, and do not buy the whole 360 line of vodafone. these phones sucks. i ended my contract with vodafone becouse of this

  • WORST PHONE EVER!! takes hours to turn on, runs slow, battery life is poor, apps are non-existent, and noone has vodafone 360 so that is pointless! if i could go back to one point in history then it would be to when i bought this phone and shoot myself for ever getting it instead of an iphone.

  • Do not use this phone. You cannot use it when Vodafone suddenly decide you can't. How big brother can you get?

  • bro could you pls post your comment in to samsung website coz thats not a proper place for your... why dont you built a os for mobile phone..i promise i will be the 1st person who pay for the 1st piece..

  • please use the computer, plug the phone in and upgrade the software. after this point the h1 will be the best phone you ever have.

  • I got the h1 about three months ago and now realise it was the worst thing i could have don. Yes the hardware is better than any around and the touch screen is the best ive come across, but the fact is nothing works my alarms no longer work, im using 300MB of the 14GB and it runs like im using full capacity. At first it was really hard trying to figure out but its ok when you do, its just i dont expect something i have been paying up to £100 per month for to be so lapsy daysical. IF U HAVE NE SENSE U WONT GET THE H1!!!!!

  • The sofware is built into your phone. Just plus the USB lead into you phone and computer.

  • for all you that want to knw how to change a ringtone go into apps, settings, phone profile pick the normal one and click at the right hand side of it scroll down to and click call rintone and go down to user selected ringtone. ope this helps Lil-Rava-Babey :)

  • Mr smart pants, Do you know ANYTHING how mobile works and what it consists of? i guess you better understand whats what and how it should work. Stupid cok noker !!!

  • The clue is in the name, "Vodafone 360 H1" the 360 service is exclusive to Vodafone and so the phone wont work properly on another network

  • Really am unhappy with this phone. The map is an utter waste of time and the googlemap app is pish poor and slow. Not being able to delete texts is an utter pain along with me not being able how to name photos I take. Yeah excellent camera and video but for £35 a month I want more for my money. Should have waited for the iphone instead!

  • I think the h1 is a great phone ive had no problems with it what so ever it looks great and it performs really well, i really like the way it functions and well if you find it hard to use the phone then maybey you should stick to cup and string because i think its brilliant, well done samsung...

  • Nice design, great screen, pretty colours, completely useless with a Mac, can't transfer iTunes library, three built in ring tones, no customisation, phone repeatedly freezes, email sync is a joke (and with POP3 mail will never fully work), pay for maps, doesn't fully delete SMS messages on first go, no multi-delete SMS options, confusing interface, alarm doesn't work. A bargain at £35pm. Not. Now £350 out of pocket buying a Blackberry Bold 9700 which is everything the H1 should have been. Oh and Vodafone laughingly wanted another £5 a month for Blackberry service when I called to change.

  • Hey, Samsung engineer - could you please go back to school and learn how to code? The system is in shambles and it looks like you lost touch with reality. The phone has got a really poor interface and basic functionality like email and content synchronization is flawed to the point of being useless. Using the phone is a constant string of problems. Have you ever heard about the end user experience? It's a misery to use H1 phone and believe me I use mobile phones for last 15 years and am a programmer myself and know Unix systems inside out. Reliability and functionality wise using MS Windows 95 was superior experience than using H1. You are lucky the hardware is so good (in fact it's better than iphone), otherwise nobody could use the phone. I am blaming you and your colleagues for coding this phone so badly that you nearly (if not altogether) ruined it. It would be best if you, your colleagues and project managers changed the job and never touch the keyboard again. Bye, J-

  • I work for Vodafone and in my view this phone is a load of old man balls most the hardware is better than the i-phone but the u-i is just wank pleas just dont buy with one of these it just makes my life harder

  • if U work for Vodafone please tell me how to remove the vodafone settings for the connections so I can use it normaly cause I bought from UK but I use it in Bulgaria?

  • It would be much and much better if there where Demo's and if there was more Iphone look a like application's if those 2 was in the shop. Boom then it would have been a Super Phone :D

  • vodafone website

  • its a great phone and the cant help u in the shop for youre ringtone than is the only thing i want to say just read the books and you know it XD its easy as well very nice phone and many more just try to do what u want and you will know how to use it first i had a nokia n95 was in the beginning hard as well but now i have no problems with it now as my sister want the nokia n95 i can take de vodafone h1 believe me 2 weeks and you know everything

  • I work for vodafone myself and am software programmer for samsung, this is one of the best handsets around, touchscreen is bang on. you can change the ringtone however it wont display its changed. there are 1000s application around the market for this handset, specially linux operating system, which is very flexible in how it works. people put comments without realising how to learn the phone or how everything works. im a samsung software programmer and know how all these handsets work. H1 has the best operating system that could be around.

  • does anybody knows is there a way /a program/ that could remove all the vodafone settings on my H1 cause I want to use it outside UK????? where can I find apps for it?

  • this phone is very difficult to use i got 2 of them one for wife and one for me i have had to send them back, try and change the ring tone?they could not even do it in the shop.it is dificult to open things up,take my advise dont buy it.

  • By telling people that they are brainwashed and then trying to make them beleive your information is the same as brainwashing. The only way to discourage corporate brainwashing is to encourage people to go out and learn for themselves. As this is just a phone and a lot of people do not put much thought into buying a phone they are not going to spend a lot of time worrying about it. People that do care about what phone they use will do the research.

  • my girlfriend has this fone . . . .its poo, but it was free!

  • Hi , I have a new VODAFONE 360 SAMSUNG H1 , unlocked , that came without software CD .Is this available for online download ?Also , I have T-mobile unlimited web acces which I am not able to use , I keep receiving web error message . How can I change the settings from vodafone connections? Thank you Gina

  • does it work with skype or any similiar videocall internet basic program?

  • Rubbish phone. Does not support personal ISP email setup. Only supports a limited selected email, BT, Yahoo, Aol etc. Found the OS to be overly cumbersome, slow and sometimes upresponsive. Returning to store to get a replacement Blackberry bold. However if you just want it for social stuff, Facebook then it is a good phone...

  • I have just returned my handset after having it just under a week. Overall the touch screen is brilliant, contacts pages and integration with FBook and email accounts is brilliant I especially liked how SMS replies appear as a blog in speech bubbles, the MP3 player and Video quality is sharp and clear. The 360 service is easy to use. There are many good things that I can list about this phone and overall I was impressed..... However there are a few thing that tipped me into returning the phone as follows. 1) you cannot change the SMS alert tone to a user selected one you are given 3 naff ones despite having the original samsung ones installed on the phone. 2) You cannot personalise the phone in any way, ie change themes or put wallpaper/screensavers on you can only change the user I/F colours of which there are about 6. Points one and two are my biggest bug with the handset and I must say if these had been dealt with I would of probably kept the handset, But the fact that you cannot personalise the phone is its biggest drawback. We dont all want to be the same do we?? It takes me back to my old B/W Nokia which only had 8 tunes on it and I do think we have moved on from that.!!! 3) The GPS has no pre installed Maps so relies on the GPRS connection, which is fine however as of 1st jan this is chargeable 4) The PC Sync Software is fairly poor , ie, quite basic and the drivers do not install properly on Windows 7 5) Concern that with the Iphone being released shortly, that this handset will be put on the back shelf 6) The facts that the GPRS connection is active pretty much all the time and you have no way of turning it off. Very annoying at night if you have a clock radio on the bedside cabinet next to it with a speaker!!!!! 7) Not as good signal reception as Nokia at Home, I cant always get signal, where my old Nokia had no problem I have hear users say about sync problems with email, but I never experienced this, the set-up was easy and quick. Thats about it. If you can live with the items I have mentioned ( of which I am hope they will eventually sort, although no news yet) then this phone has the potential to be good. It just proved too annoying for me, and with some good handsets in the pipeline early in 2010 I think I'll wait

  • Yes. It will work with MSN. I've set mine up with it and it works a treat. Just add your msn account to your 360 account and chat away!

  • does it work msn? im tryng to find one with msn if someone knw one plz tell me XXX Soraya_Chocolate_Baby_Lav

  • good phone!...

  • The vodafone 360 H1 is a great device. There were and still are a few teething issues but they are being resolved really quickly. The chat was slow, sometimes taking hours to send messages. no its more or less instant, also with the location nudge. I was put off at first, thinking it was a half cooked idea that was't polished. but now its starting to come together nicely... Still a shame about the lack of apps for the shop but that will come. still prefer to Chat on my Blackberry but thats just personal taste with touchscreens... 360 TIL I DIE!!! Jay

  • can you guys post/get the firmware?

  • I actually liked this phone, it reminded me of a samsung tocco ultra without the slide, my ex works for voda and has been using this phone for a month or so as a tester. She likes it but finds the battery isnt as good as it's supposed to be however I found that the video quality is really good. I think companies that make widescreen phones with auto rotate should allow the homescreen to rotate also??

  • I too have this phone from launch day and paid 400 from vodafone store just for the phone. It is good but there are a few issues which bug me. 1) 3 SMS tones to choose from, and you can't use your own.... Further investigate show samsung have included the standard SMS tone they use but you can't select them, they can only be used for incoming phone calls 2) Cannot have a background image - further investigation samsung have included their standard background images but you can't select them. 3) there is no way to delete more than 1 call at a time. press the call button will show you a list of calls you have made and received aswell as sms msg's, you must delete each 1 you cannot selete the edit button and select all to delete. 4) you can only use the pre-defined email acccounts (bt, sky, hotmail, yahoo) if your with someone else i.e talktalk you cannot have email on your phone. 5) you will find the apps you use the most (facebook, myspace) are not installed on the menu of the phone you still have to go through the internet button and choose it from the bookmark. 6) the shop at the moment is very limited and you can't tell the difference between free and charable options. Apart from that the phone is good and worth getting, but I have a feeling it is a platform for the iphone when that is release, and the H1 and M1 will be moved the side.

  • Well vodafone gave me this phone. Its beaughifull fun. Great multimedia phone. But in my opinion a very annoying OS lol. I may say is the best work samsung have done. Nothing compared to the windows mobile and android , much less the iphone. I dont like the idea of sync email and beeing dependent to vodafone to do it. Its a slow way of getting connected. Wifi service is limited to WPA, doenst support WAP enterprise. Great 5 MP camara ; great GPS system with a 20 m error ; Excelente ideia the 360 service . to edit contacts and make groups you need 360.com and are dependent to it (wich is annoying) . And some bugs wich the phone has. Has a great touch screen, lacks multitouch hability. From 0 - 10 , i give to features around 7 At performance i give a 5 At design i give a 7. Its a good phone to use.

  • Hi, Just picked up the first H1 that was available in my own shop. Brilliant little phone, great touchscreen ( like the i8910 ). LiMo takes a little getting used to, but it works great! 5mp camera takes very decent shots indeed, with enough settings to play with. 16gb internal memory works like a charm too And the biggest seller for me?? It has no simlock :-) Biggest setback?? The 360 service itself ( partially available for people that don't use Vodafone) will be active in about 2 days.. Bummer... Besides that, I'm very happy with my H1...

  • Yip, Vodaphone just demo'd this to me 20 mins ago, cracking phone..

  • [The same question at this cellphone (even it is the same like Samsung Vodafone 360 H1 in this database)] Hi everybody. is there any software (apps) available for this os like onboard navigation software or office apps? or is it all about java if you need additional stuff? kind regards

  • Does this have flash player capability for web video playback? Thanks

  • We do now! :)

  • Had a good play with this device the other day as were starting trining for sales & support. Im currently using a BBcurve8900 and im trading mine in on the 30th for one of these. Forget having all your facebook, twitter and emails on one device. imagine them all working as one on one screen. like the 'messages' box on a blacxkberry gives you all emails, bbchat and txt, this gives you all your updates and messages as one option. say goodbye to checking your twitter, then your facebook, then txting people for more info, this gives you all that info on the contact. very...VERY excited.

  • Vodafone doesnt make OS..

  • Does anyone know what the useragent is for this handset?

  • Oh! Fantastic Design~~~ Look so Good!!

  • You got the Blackberry Storm? looooooooooooool

  • Motorola...is lame right now actually. They are really behind with the times. It seems like after the razr and krzr series they fail sauced...cause they thought they were all on top but not so much right now.

  • I wud like to know if this OS (LiMo) has developed its own applications like document viewers to run on or are they built by the phone manufacturerers(Samsung & Vodafone)? I hope that is not left out like the guys @ Android did when releasing their first phone, without a document reader/editor. Waiting for it here in South Africa on Vodacom, apparently.

  • I tell you what this looks like... the samsung 8300 Tocco Ultra. If, you've held one in your hands; this phone LOOKS almost exactly like it! :O

  • Looks like Omnia HD.

  • is it the son of omnia hd??

  • Yep Vodafone. As i said. Samsung designed the hardware and we put our nice new OS on the inside. Wait till it comes out and play with it. I did, and it was brilliant. and to those confused it is not a resistive touch screen. Its a capacitive!

  • Yep Vodafone. As i said. Samsung designed the hardware and we put our nice new OS on the inside. Wait till it comes out and play with it. I did, and it was brilliant. and to those confused it is not a resistive touch screen. Its a capacitive!

  • Yer course I am I was just making myself at home with all the other people talking total crap on here! I mean come on seriously speaking - ok the phone is a samsung - some people like them some dont - guess what your missing the point! Is it really about the handset - luckly for O2 they ride there average network preformance on the back of apple's sterling reputation and have made the industry into a product related purchase for most people. But shouldnt you choose a network for its preformance and what it cn do for you and not just the hardware. I think its good that Vodafone doesn't want to be good just because they have a good product to offer - they want to be the best because they are the baest and are ones that pioneered this industry and product aside in my opinion still do and will continue to do. I'll get off my soap box now - i like Vodafone and yes its apparent they need an image change and yes they have some catching up to do on the handset side of things - but i bet you one think - this new proposition will give O2 and apple a run for its money and if not so what - atleast they tried!

  • Vodafone? Then why is it labelled Samsung at the top there? I mean that after you have clicked into Pictures.

  • no bad 5mp + program+ 16gb+ 3g and wlan

  • The cool thing about this is that the version of the LiMo OS that installed on the phone is developed by Vodafone. Samsung just provided the 'shell' to put it in. The buttons around the handset(They are specific to the phone features such as vodafone People), everything to do with the funtions is vodafone's brain child. cool huh... Other manufacturers will surely in the future want to make a Vodafone 360 handset, just considering the number of Vodafone customers that there are globally. Think, all across eurpose, austrailia, middle east, india... the global customer base is huge so any consumer orientated manufacturer would be crazy to not want to... apart from nokia, as they have interests in only their own Symbian and Maemo. The other great thing is that the Vodafone People Service will be available to EVERYONE on ANY network!! With its own built in App store, thats taking money from other networks customers! GO VODAFONE!!!! :)

  • I agree. I haven't laughed that hard in ages. Mid October release for the H1 and M1 - the OS is specifically designed to sync with social networking sites and your contacts (and other PIM data) are saved for you through an app for PC. If you lose your phone, all your data is safe and it can be synced straight back to your new phone! Awesome!

  • lol are you joking.... great joke :)

  • Bo it wont be for US only

  • Personally i think MOTOROLA make the best phones ever! I think Vodafone Should get some of these again - that'll surly put them in the number one spot!

  • * either no grasp of the english language or how to apply this in the real world (i.e. create sentences!)

  • I love how most of the people making negative comments about vodafone, or the handset being on vodafone seem to either have no grasp of the english language. Maybe its a good thing vodafone has the handset may mean less stupid people will get it. As if the cant type coherently how are they to manage to use a phone!

  • Yes, it's on Vodafone. And yes, they have the best coverage in the UK, so technically speaking, Samsung have picked the best network to release this product on. Notably, as many of its features are GPS and Internet dependent (and let's not forget that the V also own the strongest data network in the world) there'd be no point relaseing it on any other service provider. And to all the haters of Vodafone, let me say this. Loads of people want an iPhone on Voda and can't get one, so are with O2 against their preference. But Vodafone did turn down a bid for the iPhone (and the recent merger with Orange and T-Mobile - Ora-bile) to concentrate their funds on developing innovative new products instead of pouring money into dated products and services. This is to be the first of many very innovative and evolutionary products for the Vodafone brand, and I say hats off to them.

  • To all you people who are complaining this is only on vodafone remember this, I work for vodafone and have forced to watch whilst all the other networks get better and more exciting exclusives than our selves. Did we get the iphone, the G1, the Omnia HD, HTC Touch HD, SE W995, Toshiba TG01, LG Arena/Crystal/Viewty Smart, or the upcoming Palm Pre? No, we got the Blackberry Storm...oh dear. Leave us alone to enjoy our one decent exclusive and stop being greedy.

  • is it android?

  • The design of the handset looks alike Omnia HD but the size of the screen has been shrunk about 0.2 inches.

  • I like the mobile.... but since it's vodafone, it's going to be marketed for U.S. only. oh well.

  • how much does it cost

  • Wow! it's really cool~~~ I wanna have it!

  • is it made by Vodafone? I don't think so.......... it is made by Samsung!!! Vodafone sucks.

  • Will it be available in the Middle East? Guys pls get the info. Thanks

  • I can understand you, I am on Orange, this is a mistake this beauty will be available only on Vodafone. Why Samsung, why???

  • Great phone, and use Linux, wow, cool!
