It's a good phone, I've had it for about three years now and it's only been off to repair once (and that was to factory reset it because my brother locked me out of it -.-) It has all the features you need for basic things and it's strong, doesn't break easily :)

cons: no flash, battery life of up to about 2 hours when in use. LCD screen easily damaged. earphones only lasted about a month before breaking, not a music phone, speakers not good. pros: good memory, incl. memory card, good graphics, camera was pretty good. too bad this phone only lasted a short while before malfunctioning.

Hi, they say up to 5 hours talk time & 200 hours standby. What a load of lies. 1 hr max & 48 hrs if you lucky. These lies should not be allowed. We pay so we should receive better service. Nothing is the same as it use to be. This shocking service would never be tolerated.

What a load of rubbish. I got this phone about a year ago. 2 months ago it packed up. It wiped all the memory from the phone and my SIM card somehow. I sent it for repair. They couldn't repair it so sent me a new one. Now guess what? It's packed up again. It switches off every time you open the slider! At least its a different problem. Can't wait to get something different!!!

ii've had this fone for onli two dais and i must saai da batt life is pretty baad. does last me a daai and i use my fone alot. txtng and music. sometimes calls. the batt is bad. otherwise the fone is pretty cool.

For some reason the phone will only install java apps if they are downloaded from the internet. I suspect it may be a anti-piracy measure. However, there is an easy work around. bluetooth the app to a computer, and upload it to a web store or server, then download it to the phone. Hope this helps!

I just bought this unit and i was shocked to find out that it can't read jar files. It would seem the only java midp the unit supports are its built-in java games. That really dampened my mood. But i bought the fone for the fast internet. The netfront 3.4 built-in browser is great for surfing on the go.

I allways find it difficult to get to grips with new phones, and tend to stick to motorolas, as i find them the easiest to get around. I was talked into this phone by my daughter and ill honesstly never look back! Its very easy to use and i like the slide function, for not pocket phoning people. Although i couldn't care less, my kids tell me im now 'cool', whatever! Still top notch handset.

I have the phone for a year now well not a year but close :)). ok i`ll give a review first Pro`s and the Con`s PRO`S: 1. Nice looking phone , simple and cool :)) sturdy to 2. Good menu with no lagging 3. Now this one depends on many factors but for me it has good signal and the 3g works just fine 4. It can suport pdf , txt file formats so it`s really handy at school during exams =))) 5. Music in tearms of volume is medium i mean what do u want from a mobile , u can organize the music in playlists so that`s nice 6. The camera is imprsive considering the 2 m/pixel although i never use the camera because i have a digital camera for that ( no flash the thing that looks like a flash is just for self taking pictures to help u center u`re face in the pic ) Con`s : 1. The batery life now that i`m bored with the phone and use it just for calling people the bat lasts me about 4 day`z :)) but if u play games like i did and take some ocasional pics and surf the net for an hour or so i mean be really active the bat can`t last u for more that 2 dayz MAX 2. The menu it`s a bit ilogical structured but u get used to it 3.No emoticons in text messages :((( 4.Sometimes i mean it happed just 2 times to me but for other people that called me the phone did`nt ring i mean that can have manny causes .. as soon as i found out i turned it off and on again and then it worked just fine and it never happend again 5 THIS ONE IS A BIG ONE FOR ME . NO CODING ABILITIES with this model i mean at least for the games part so all u have in terms of games in the phone it has to be bought i have some interesting codes though but .. i mean i didn`t really use them for anything and i lost the txt i put them in to so just google them like i did:)) Well i hope i covered the general pro`s and con`s , Overall this is a medium phone for a medium price , i think that it`s worth it`s price.

I'm a teenager and use my phone like 24/7 but I have to warn U if U don't like charging your phone every night and use your phone a lot this phone ain't for U. If you leave the phone on and don't use it (at all!) it might last you 3 days... if your lucky. Other then that I have absolutely no complaints. In broad terms gr8 value 4 money!

Turn off vibration or change message tone go to > meniu > settings > proffiles , then selet proffile and change. Press button right (>) . And there you can change message tone or vibration tone.

1) No smilies (emotions in a picture) in sms! You can only get them in text form like :) ;) :@ and so on. That was my biggest surprise ! 2) Agree that can't hear the person you talking with even if the volume is on max! 3) Problems with some needed shortcuts ... and I got it only for 4 days. is the sd card not seen by the phone? if so post what kind of mem card do u have because it may not be compatible with the phone for example i have a 2 gb "SanDisk MICRO SD"! (careful at that last part),and works as it should be, it has to say on the card "micro SD", there are SDHC mem cards out there and not shure if the phone suports SDHC. About the bat problem i agree it dosent last to much but u can manage if u dont play to many games ... and i hear people very good and so do they the only problem is that in every conversation other people dont hear the first second of what i say so i say "Hello there" and they get just "there" . Go to the store from where u bought it and tell them u`re problem and mby they`l get u a new one :)) don`t think so but never hurts to try. Although u`re phone may not be the problem mby it`s a connection problem or mby somme ppl that didn`t hear u were in a bad spot and they didnt have signal ...

Also find that the memory is crap, bought a sd card for it and still doesnt seem to make any difference. man the phone last`s me abut 3 days with normal activity listening to music when i get the chance .. if i go around playn some games it last`s 2 days and if i`m really really bored and play a lot it last`s a day .. with no problems so unless u`re playn games on it or listen to music all day long (don`t take u`re hand of the phone) than it must have some problems ...

also i have smthn to warn ppl about .. when sliding up or down dont press hard on the screen area while doing so u might get scratches on the upper part of the key pad . As a matter of fact don`t slide putting u`re big finger on the screen area what so ever, put u`re finger on the margins and then slide ... i know it`s a little hard doing that but once u get used to it .. u get rid off unwanted finger prints on the screen and the posibiliti of ending up with a scratched key pad.

i`ve turned of the 3g function by going to settings > network mode an changed form automatic to gsm 900/1800... also if u want some codes .. here u go ..*#0523# and then press # a few times and get some nice functions also go in to admin settings by typing : *#3695147*#-addmin seting *#3971258*#-master pass(internals) here r some hints .. if somebody knows a way to install JAVA games on phone through cable please post!

man i have the phone and it`s a good one the bat lasted me a day doing the following: 2.30 hrs - game play 30 min - 1 hr - playing with the phone menu (contacts and stuff) 40-50 minutes of phone talk 20 minutes of backlight (50% brightness) 10 minutes of internet activity 10 minutes of bluetoth activity 10 minutes of music (without hands-free ) 3 or 4 sms Good`s: - nice looking phone - fast menu interactivity - good slide mechanism - exelent color display - has everything a new generation phone should have ( for it`s price ) - good sound (phonecalling and music with or without handsfree ) Bad`s: - bat time it`s not great but don`t plan on going somewhere (vacation) with this phone and hope it will last u if u play games and do other stuff exept phonecalling (and that goes with most phones similar to this one) - it`s a new phone (well not so new) but no hack`s for it on the net hack`s like java for example so u can install games from the pc through jar and jad files -no themes out there ( at least none that i found) NOTE: if somebody has a way of installing games via cable or btoth please post here!

I would not recommend this phone WHAT SO EVER .. i recieved it and then within a week of the contract it stoped working so they sent me a new one .. same modole but then that started playin up again and they wouldnt replace it so it went off to repair for 2-3 weeks and wen i got it back after a week or so the SAME fault happened and they still wouldnt replace it. now its currently still in repair. deffinatly DO NOT get this phone theres been so many faults with this modole its ridiculous

SORRY ABOUT MY FIRST POST I USED THE SYMBOLS () TO ENCLOSE THE IMPORTANT WORDS BUT FOR SOME REASON IT DID NOT APPEAR ON MY MESSAGE, WELL ANYWAY, AGAIN.... I just got my L770. It does have a radio. You can use your downloaded music as ringtone and as message alert tone (Just Click MENU, go to SETTINGS, Click PHONE PROFILES and then click the OPTIONS botton found at the lower left portion of the screen then EDIT. You can now personalize your ringtone, message alert tone and keypad tone (this one has default tones. The camera is 2MP with 256K color display and personally, I find it good. I compared it to photos taken using a N6500 slide (3.15MP camera with 16M color display) and I find its quality similar (its just my personal opinion). I hope this helps...

Handset or Accessory Issues - I have a Samsung E840 on Orange which is a slide phone. It cannot be answered until the slide is pushed up. I now also have a Samsung L770 on 3. This has buttons on the face of the slide and can be accidentally answered in a handbag if the buttons are pushed. How do I disable these buttons on the face of the slide? I don't want to be chatting away not realising that my words are being broadcast to people I don't want to hear.

Yes it has a raio bulit in-to it, and the amount of music and video's that you can store on it depends entirely on what memory card you have. A 1 gb can store plenty of music and videos, a 2gb even more and a 4gb stacks and stacks!

What you do have to respect is the fact that the battery is really small. When i got it out of the box i couldnt believe it! Its not chunky either, a slim small battery and it holds charge better than the other phones i've had! [SE-Z610i] [Nokia 6630]

The phone is easily capable of doing that, - I sent about 100 text messages yesterday and i still had a full battery. - I went out with friends and tested the camera, about 10 pictures and half battery. - I listened to music whilst in the car on the way home for about half an hour and still half battery. - Even when i went onto the internet to check my usage and look at the news for about 10-15 minutes it still had half a battery. - Only when I made a 10 minute phone call did it go to 1 bar of battery. - I havnt used any games yet, as the ones that are supplied are demo's, so until i get some new ones i couldnt tell you. For those who are wondering, NO flash with the camera, however the camera is excellent. everyone, it actually does have a flash. they are still working on it (apparently from wat i know) so it might have not had a flash in the images but the phone will/already does have a flash

i do hope that this phone has a place for a sim chip. because in europe, even tho i'm american, they use sim chips, and this phone would be a real bust if it doesn't have a place for a sim chip.
