If u want to enjoy internet browsing on vodafone456, u will have to go to ur app,scroll down to INTERNET then press option and go to INTERNET SETTING,select ur access point and ur gateway(sometimes if it did not connect,u will have to set ur date and time properly and ohe opera mini time should be set properly

This mobile phone is a catastrophy. I made the mistake of buying this phone in April. The warranty is still valid and the phone refuses to recharge. Sent it back to Vodafone for repairs only to be told that they do not repair these phones. They only replace, but cannot replace this one because it is now obsolete. They have promised that I will get my money back. Still waiting. I am getting a negative feeling for all vodafone hardware.

Hey guys. The most probabal reason for no mxit and other features should be your network. The Vodafone 546 uses the Vodacom Portal to surf the web, And from what I've read, Vodacom users don't seem to have any troubles.. I so need to rica my Vodacom sim card :) Hope this helps guys. Enjoy

When you go into the mxit site it will not detect your phone model but you should just select choose phone model-vodafone-545 and download it it works on my vodafone 546.

I don't know how to tell you this but your phone needs 3G for your utube videos to work. This phone does not have that capability. Check in specifications for what your phone can actually do.

Pro's: Looks like a real phone. Cons: Cant see anything on the phone outside in sunlight - screen plus keyboard - when you use the phone, text on keys shows as silver on white - when not using, black on white. I can not get internet and mms settings to work with virgin moblile. Regarding the low ringing volume, select the outdoor profile (has volume at 6 vs max 5 setting on normal profile).

I also bought the phone from Jets stores, even went and got a new vodacom sim card. all well till I wanted to connect to the internet. impossible. went online to get new settings, that didnt work, then I called Vodacom SA only to be told this phone was imported and the network (internet settings) are not for south Africa users but in the USA, sad....I can down load Gmail, witch is no surprise as thats is global the same setting and accessible to all all over the globe. But the connections settings for the internet can not be changed for us. Now I wanted to take the cell back to where I bought it, but they refuse to do the exchange. I am not going to leave this matter here, I will take it further!!!

i hv a problem with connecting to the internet, meaning i can't have mxit or facebook or any other that has to do with internet. this phone sucks and am thinking of taking it back and getting another one

There's nothing wrong with this fone you get what you pay for so plz don't go around being all bitter just because ya'll are "FLIPPIN BROKE" and cannot afford to buy a blackberry. You have plenty options out there so plz put a "sock in it" and let people like my self enjoy their 2cents worth.

i have a ridiculous line running across my screen which wont go away... the sound and volume sucks... the keys are TOO close to one another... i get DC alot on mxit and camera sucks

Well the phone is worth its price. Just bought it m yet to get it to its uttermost potential. Will get a more fleshed review

I almost returned the phone thinking there is something wrong with the volume, its just too low, one may not use the phone outdoors.
