ZTE Blade L3 - User Reviews

  • No dual sim neither trusted face on.

  • I have this phone since spring 2016 and recently the three navigation buttons completelly failed. Thus it is completelly useless. >:-( I can't return to the home menue or return to the previous steps in an app. I always have to turn the smartphone off to open another app, because I can't close the app anymore. I expect a smartphone to last for at least 3 or 5 years working fine, like things used to do in the past. Yes in these days it might seem a bit of an exaggerated expection of mine but I know times when things were working a bit longer than just one year and a lot of them still work just fine. Well at least it worked fine for a year so I give it 10% rating and the missing 90% are because of the limited lifetime of the navigation buttons and thus it's completelly useless now. My pro-tip: Don't buy a cheap smartphone (for about 100€ or less), when it's recently released. Wait for a couple of months or at best one and a half year and check the ratings if there are any flaws or fails. for at least 70% good rating you might give it a try :-)

  • ZTE is an average Android phone, not too many errors. but it very manageable..... the heart is crazy..... my grade is 61% from 100

  • This phone is terrible. It's display is only up 480p though it runs games smoothly. The battery is complete bullcrap and It overheats sometimes and sometimes when I'm playing my usual clash of clans it heats up until it's just unbareable. Camera is great and reliable. Now, the most horrible con of the phone is the touch sensitivity. When I am trying to type for example, I'm trying to hit 'O' but it's hitting 'P' instead. I don't know if it's just my phone but this is very irritating and I still haven't gotten used to it. I've had this phone for 6 months and I have to say sub-par.

  • zte is the worst handphone of all time 1. my other phone got signal zte no 2. other got wifi zte sometime make me mad 3. it like oven so u think it

  • Me too. Problem after problem.

  • phone working fine and stabil.lot of users while try to unroot your device, goten bricked phone with bootloop.dont do it or choose firstly good root tools with permanent unroot and self delete funktion....

  • This phone is the worst phone I have ever owned. I have never wanted to cry so much out of frustration, or swear so much every time I use it. The battery does not last long at all, even when the phone is left in airplane mode. I can't get the camera to work, and the phone has sim card errors almost every time I use it. Useless - can't use it because of the constant sim card errors. It was bought 2.5-3 hours from me so not an easy matter of taking it back to get a refund without taking a whole day out of my life to do so. So very frustrated!! Could be a faulty phone and usually they're great, but this many faults is just ridiculous.

  • I am having the same issue....it sucks!!!

  • Overheating and less battery power with So many unwanted apps that occupied d memory are d problems I've seen so far

  • D only problem I d in d phone is overheati

  • This phone was excellelent for the first week but after 6 months and as I'm typing this the piece of shite wont even charge. I've been having charging problems since the 1 month mark and warn others, don't buy this phone. It was a waste of 250 buckaroonies

  • where is the SAR guys??

  • i have this phone at lest 5 mouth and never had a problem with lags its overtinhing a little bit but its the best phone on my opinion i can play every game havy or lite i want this is better than the most phone out there like smasung lg and huawei

  • I purchased one not even a month back & it sucks, really & there is no way I can return it. It over heats, doesn't charge up to 100% & I leave it 2 charge for hours & then wen its finally charged, I remove it & within an hour its down to 50% battery life. For an 8mp camera picture quality is appalling, the flash is useless cos the pictures still come out dark, even in a well lit room. The pictures come out dark, like it has a shadow & don't get me started on the front camera. It definitely does not have a 8GB internal memory cos it keeps on saying insufficient storage space wen I only downloaded 6 apps but it has a load of unwanted apps that I'm never gonna use & I can't get rid of. I got a 16GB SD card for it but I can't use it cos it doesn't give me an option to. This is by far the worst phone I've ever purchased, whatever the salesperson told me & what I saw advertised was misleading & false

  • remove the battery to access the sim port, the sim slides in and out after battery removal

  • Sim slot is locked how can I open it up

  • I got this phone from a local provided in my country and it sucks. Battery keeps overheating and screen start to give problem only had it for six months.

  • It keeps on overheating and a warning comes up on it to do a battery pull sometimes even up to 8 times a day

  • Appointed

  • Nice phone but it's not 8GB internal memory.

  • Had a few problems..... told to do a reset........ better phones are available

  • Nice phone but battery seems to be unobtainable, and you will need a replacement after 9 months

  • mine is rubbish wish I hadn't got it from virgin. Being told by virgin to do a full reset.

  • is zte blade l3 is good to use? i was planning to buy one.. pls reply anyone?

  • Get the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, which is a ZTE Blade 6, it's amazing for £125 or thereabouts. 😊

  • find this phone to be a great price/specs deal.no t sad at all about my buy! cannot understand all tard comments here.get a life or buy an iphone and get on..

  • It is a budget smart phone and you get what you pay for. The reason it states 8gb is that is the total internal memory before the OS is installed. This is the same for any phone unless state otherwise. For the price, the phone is a good build and what i would expect in the £80 - £90 price bracket.

  • The part which you cannot us it's for the operation system. You cannot expect a great camera for this price.

  • 4.7GB internal memory instead of 8GB. camera quality is poor! I really expected much from this phone but I don't know what to think now. what happened to the other GB space? and why this poor camera quality?

  • I bought the phone , lasted 1 hour only , the store will not take it back . Called & talked to the company ZTE . They said take it back , ZTE does not replace phones , no parts , no service . They told me they only sell the phone , that is it . They are in chaina , they have E mail .you can write , but you are wasting your time . I told them I will write reviews , they don't care . They like to say catch me if you can. Their e mail add [email protected] Pass it on please don't buy junk phones from ZTE

  • I bought the ZTE Blade L3 on the 19/12/2015 and I already had to take it in for repairs. I often struggles to get it to switch switch on. The battery does not lasts 24 hours. It also freezes often. Its not worth the money I paid for it. My advise is, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. I think because of all the bad reviews they are blocking new comments.

  • My zte blade l3 the camera in not good' I can not install facebook massanger' and also voice is week. Thank you

  • SDXC cards work, as long as they are formatted with FAT32, not exFAT. I'm using a 64GB without problems.

  • A slightly different variant, ZTE Blade L3 Apex, on sale here in the Philipines for P3,490 with 1 extra back cover. Specs are a little different with 8MP rear cam and 5MP front cam, running on Kitkat. Cameras are average. No bloatwares installed, 5.47GB available to user. Running smoothly, a very good buy for its price+specs. However, no accessories like cases in our country.

  • Is there anyone upgraded this phone to Marshmallow yet (Android 6)?

  • This phone is good on running apps. but its showing 4.7gb not 8GB. The camera is not good at all especially at night.Flash is terrible. My Bberry 9790 (5MP) is far better that this so called 8MP.

  • Are you really sure you want to recommend this model ? The other reviews are not that good !

  • Hi Amir, i got the phone too. The memory is showing 4.7GB on mine too. camera is really bad specially at nigh or inside the house. everythimg that i download i had to move it to memory card.

  • I'm not sure if this update to marshmallow works tho!

  • Apps Permission control built in! Price = 9/10 (Cheap as fk, 69Euros in Germany) LCD = 5/10 (Meh, white bleaches other colors a bit, brightness is good) Viewangle = 6/10 Camera = 2/10 (front and back, useless for anything without sunlight) Battery Life = 7/10 Speaker = 4/10 Headphone audio = 8/10 Responsiveness = 8/10 GPS = 9/10 Clicky volume / pwr buttns = 9/10 Radio works Almost stock android, no Bloatware uses Big SIM cards, both slots appear to be able to use 3G (not at same time) Internal Memory showing 4.7GB total, instead of 8GB Comes with 700mA Charger, cable, 6/10 headphones, 2x mini to normal SIM conversion jackets,

  • Battery is removable, and Radio is confirmed, just bought it yesterday, it even has App permission control, just the screen quality isnt that good and camera is terrible, total space is shown 4.7gb

  • It comes with Lollypop. Am not sure if it can be upgraded to Marshmallow.

  • Put battery in and switch it on. Follow the instructions on the screen. U need to have a google email account. Then u're ready to go.

  • Is the battery of this phone removable? does it have a Radio?

  • This phone is awesome. I had NO PROBLEMS with it, unlike with other brands. I recommend it to everyone.

  • Oh, come on ZTE.. Can you include some better headphones?? Is amazing the BAD quality of this piece of sh*t you've include with this phone. Asks to Sony for some ultra-cheap headphones of them, by a couple of bucks you can include something much better than these. F*ck..

  • 5 mega pixel only

  • Guyz is zte blade l3 having 5 mega pixels or 8 pixel

  • SAR head: 0.669 W/kg SAR body: 1.29W/kg

  • it is a really good phone

  • Does it have e-compass function?

  • Can I ask if you found a way to load Facebook messenger please as it wont load on my new handset either, thanks

  • Battery life shockingly bad - and I keep getting warnings that the battery is overheating. Usually when using Maps/Navigation. Also can't load FB Messenger. Lots of spec for the money - but overall a poor product.

  • how is audio quality with headphones?

  • Great phone for the money. Runs every game you want with no lag... Screen is ok also, no need for anything better...

  • The viewing angle is very poor. The colors bleed. The screen is grainy of pixels.

  • Good spec for price bargain

  • Re battery life, I'm not finding it too bad. Charged every couple of days with a healthy usage of YouTube and gaming in between...

  • @nick- What is it about the display that you're finding bad. Why so "too low resolution"?

  • 8mp rear camera not 5

  • Yes removable battery

  • Removable battery?

  • very bad display, too low resolution and poor battery life. Everything else is ok.

  • Under £80 for this bit of kit? Ridiculous! Not an iPhone killer by any means but fantastic value for a great product. Running on Lollipop is a nice touch for a little future proofing. The screen is ENORMOUS and I've yet to make use of the 8MP camera. Will post more as I get to grips with it...
