Had the ZTE ZMAX Blue for about 12 months. Worst phone I have owned in 10 years. Looked like an upgrade on paper, turned out to be a huge disappointment. Constantly freezing, web pages locking up, even the background picture would constantly fail and need to be reset. Repeatedly cleaning the OS of clutter and spam did little to nothing. Speaking of the OS, it could not have been more frustrating to use. The phone constantly needs you to interact with it through multiple menu screens to find otherwise common options and requires the user to "hold it's hand" instead of being intuitive. The only impressive thing about the OS is how far backwards it manages to go, it feels like searching for settings on an old flip-phone.

Ive had my ZTE Tempo for maybe 3 months and i've noticed that the bottom half of the screen is very flimsy, just pressing on it a bit well make it warp. Also it has almost NO battery life, it virtually dies overnight if its not charging, also sometimes when im texting the keyboard will just de-activate and it leaves me unable to do anything. Would not recommend, 4/10

I have been using cellphones since they became available in Nebraska. My first one was a Motorola which worked fine till I dropped it off a roof on a const. site. My next was a LG which I used forever, survived washing machines, const. sites and time. Finally died. Replaced it with a ZTE and I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. Unreliable, mind of its own and incomprehensible.

I never hated anything as much as the ZTE phone. The keyboard absolutely sucked, it was the worst and it turned me into an as-hole, I would have cursed out a Nun, that’s how angry it made me. It finally broke. I was without a phone for two days, normally that drives a person crazy. Not me. I felt relieved. My only regret was that I didn’t place it in my drive way and put my car in reverse, drive, till the gentile weight of the tires on my car, sent that piece of shit to hell.

Mine actually burns me because it gets so hot. I have to hold shungite between my hand and phone to block the radiation and cool it. I have had it for over a year and it still works okay but I would really like to know why Facebook is built into it and not removable.

This phone absolutely sucks. They load this POS with tons of apps that I will never use. Consequently, the phone is slower than constipated molasses, and I can't even use this abomination to send texts, emails, you know, the functions that are available to REAL CELLPHONES. I can't wait to replace this waste of electricity and smash it into a thousand pieces with a sledge hammer. Then I plan to run it over with my car, but this Godamned thing will probably give me a flat tire. I'll probably burn it like Jimi Hendrix burnt his Statocasters. I don't know why. My ZTE finally took its last breath last night after serving me faithfully for ...um 6 months. After having it call people when I am not even near it- then drop my call to go to google or draining from 100% charge to 35% after a 20 minute walk to the store- I am haunted by the thing. What an entire failure of a phone. I cannot even bring myself to use the corpse as a door stop because I think it may lead to nightmares just seeing the body...trash 100%.

I have the ZTE Jasper and I have to say, it's complete bs. It takes over 5 hours to charge,it loses battery with battery saving mode at the speed of light, it lags out of nowhere, the camera quality is that of a 2008 YouTube video, it has a rounded 3 gigs and when I type some things or listen to music, it just decides to spaz out. Why the hell can't I uninstall these useless pre-installed apps that come with my phone? I don't need "App Finder" or "Touch pal." 1.5/10

this was my first smartphone with Cricket back when it released in 2011. In fact I still hold onto all my old phones, and passing this one down to my nephew for wifi usage just for small games and stuff. It was a great phone at the time of its appearance. Android 2.3 Gingerbread still runs flawlessly, it is not supported so it is sluggish naturally. It was a great phone in it's prime for me, and now I hope my nephew enjoys messing around with it on wifi.

This phone sucks I have zte obsidian and the headphone hole (don't know what else to call it) it broke and now I can't fix because metropcs sucks and plays music out of speaker for no reason crashes when you play music too loud and have to remove battery manually. I've had this phone for about 6 months and it's been great until now, but now whenever I try to use it it turns itself off, tells me I have 0% charge, even though I know I just charged it. Iv had my zmax for about 7 months and I love every thing about it except recently when I go to charge it the charger keeps going on and off so I need to wrap the charger a certain way to keep it charging. I think it broke because the charger port is on the bottom of the phone and I'm on instagram alot so when I'm laying down with it charging the wire is bent up against my stomach for hours. They should of put the charger on the side or on top of the phone so this problem doesn't happen. Other then that I love the zmax.

SUCKS. The heat sensor that shuts off the screen when its next to your face malfunctions. Screen stays black even when trying to hang up a phone call. Do not waste your money on this pile of crap. My wife bought a 19 dollar phone at the same time and has had ZERO problems. Go figure.

Intermittent problem with charging the ZTE Z max. Chargers changed and still the problem of charging going on and off. I just bought this phone and otherwise I like it but I'm afraid I'm going to have to return it to T Mobile within the 14 days. I took it back today and they told me there is nothing wrong with it and gave me a new charger. Charging connection on and off again and again.

I got the first phone in February and i month later, something happened to the charging port and the phone just completely died. As this device has an Internal Memory of 512MB RAM & 512MB ROM. so if you try to indtall any app it will use some part of internal memory so, you get the error message as low memory. To solve this issue the oly way is deleted all the unwanted apps and just keep the apps which are important for use.

This phone sucks. I bought it for my mom since she is pretty new to the android/smartphone world. It is pretty good in the sense that it is easy to use. The problem is the system memory. My mom has a 8gb sd card installed which she installs most apps. But with the useless preinstalled apps that cannot be moved to sd card she is constantly getting a "low memory" error. This problem disallows her to download more apps, she has only downloaded 2 apps period.

About the port it�s strange that your device port breaks often because I have this device as one of my spare device and never had this issue. But however for the other issues like it�s slow, lacks memory I would suggest you to perform a software upgrade as I was suggested to do it and it work miracle to my device because now I got 0% lag on my device.

I've been having to reset my phone many times due to it being stuck in the muve music screen. Not to mention, I've already had to replace it once before and now i have to replace my current zte score again. It'll restart on its own while I'm using it and it sometimes won't let me use some of my apps, saying i have to force close it every time i go to use it. Wish i could've gotten a phone that is actually worth my money. It sucks having to dish out money that i don't have already to keep replacing my phone.

The phone will tell me my text message memory is full so ill delete some and restart the phone because after deleting close to all messages it still tells me its full as i turn it back on it will not go past the loadingscreen. Every charger port on this phone has broke and im not rough on it. Many issues with downloads. Overall not worth buying trial and error phone for zte would never recommend this phone. Told my mom not to get it and she did anyway and she to is having problems!

HATE THIS PHONE!!! This actually belonged to my husband, who replaced it with a different model when this one was stolen from his work truck (unfortunately it was returned to us by the police who arrested the thief for a non-related charge). I activated the phone since I didn't have one and was traveling out of town. The GPS would have been a nice feature, but Cricket coverage is poor and I lost signal several times. Phone itself is crappy... half the time the dialpad locks up and blinks, preventing me from making calls. Cannot even count the numbet of calls

This phone is the biggest piece of crap and the cricket employees verified it when I asked them what they thought. Lots of dropped calls, it sends the same text about three times and I only push send once, always says low on space (rep told me this is abug), can't use speaker phone, and force close comes up too much. I am going to ask cricket tomorrow to replace free of charge or start a class action suit

I had the same problem and I had to buy a new phone because their so called warranty does not cover the phone. Had to be sent out for a week and they said that they thought that it was dropped because it had a scratch on it. I NEVER droped it,there was nothing wrong with it. They will find ANY reason to not give you another phone and their hand set insurance does'nt cover the phone either. You still have to pay $50 or more for the phone to be replaced. Unfortunately your phone is dead.

Bought this phone in Dec. 2011 and in march it told me I had no service, went to cricket store and was told that it had changed over another carrier, how that happened I don;t know. two days ago it stop charging brought it in and was told that the wires inside where you charge it was bent, again how that happened don't know. had to buy another one and now when I call out or someone calls in I can hear them but, they can't hear me, I must go back to cricket once again.

Have already replaced one due to battery not able to be charged. handset speaker has always been very quiet, and now crackles as if it is blown - makes it hard to understand callers. One phone will not send or recieve picture messages. Camera is teriible. Battery life is poor even with JD ultimate installed.

I've had this phone for a little over 2 months now & I am so disappointed with it. I ordered the phone online from Cricket, the very next day after receiving the phone I noticed that the power button wasn't working. I cannot turn the phone off & on, nor can I bring the phone out of sleep mode. I actually have to plug the phone into the charger to activate while in sleep mode & I have to take the battery completely out & plug phone into charger to turn it on. My question is, is there a way to correct this? I called Cricket because there is no store where I live. They told me I would have to send the phone back, then wait on a refund, then reorder the phone. Which made no since to me. So now, I've just completely given up on this phone & Cricket all together. This phone sucks!!!

I've had this phone about week and I still like it. The problem I have is the battery dies quickly even when not in use. Also, sometimes when texting, the keypad won't respond to my touch and that is a headache. The jury is still out on if I will keep this phone, I only paid $29.00 for it so if I don't it won't be a huge hit on my wallet.

I bought this phone one day ago. So far so good. I was the least expensive android phone in the store. It is functional. I can make calls fairly easy and text. It is a decent phone for the money.

Got this phone as a Chanukkah gift and I really like it. It is pretty basic and user friendly; however, the battery life is really poor. As long as you have access to a vehicle charger or a plug, you are good to go. Clear pictures, videos and browsing. Just the battery life is a negative.

I am not very happy with this phone. The battery life is short, it drops calls or just goes completely dead it hard to text message so i will be returning this phone.

I would love this phone if it just didn't drop calls I paid $150 for it when the first week it was out because I wanted Muve Music...I still have the phone but I prefer my new Galaxy S.

Bought phone from cricket and loved it, for a day. Still appreciate it. The 1gb of data goes very fast but that is the services provides fault, not LTE. Battery is next to worthless. Have had several nights where phone was fully charged right before bed but completely dead 8 hours later after zero use (with app killer turned to its highest). Not nearly good enough. Also have issues with the power/screen button. Only had phone about three weeks and button already has issues working consistently. Takes a lot of tries and effort to turn on when powered down and it may take several pushes if in sleep mode. Wonder how it will work after a year or so. All in all still happy with the phone. Very user friendly and simple. Definitely git what i paid for and a decent summary phone for 70 bucks
