Acer Liquid Gallant Duo - User Reviews

  • Worst phone I have ever used. It is slugish, unstable and no software updates from acer. If jellybean was avalable or at least a custom jellybean rom the phone would have been usable if you dont load alot of aps or try anything that will need prossesing power, the phone prosseses data about as fast as a human would with a pen and paper. I bought this phone as a non permanent device becuse my phone was stolen, the first month was tolarable with lag here and there and the phone takeing his time on some tasks, after that it was a sharp decline downhill, it sometimes takes 3min just to open a text and even longer to find a contact on my list, randon complete crashes and apps not responding is a every day incounter. Sometimes the keyboard randomly refuses to accept any input and a reboot is needed, I tryed to fix this by using a 3rd party keyboard with no luck. When I recive a phone call the call dont show up for me to answer untuil 3seconds after it starts to ring and once I swype to answer another 2 to 4 seconds of lag. I dont whish this much frustration to my worst enemy, this phone is a do t buy in every category. web browsing is a nightmare, zoom and scroll on page is more than just slugish, and pages take an eternety to load even on fast networks and wifi. Then just as you FINALY got to the page you wanted the browser will crash and not remember were you were. This brings me to wifi, verry poor wifi connection and takes most of the phones resources wich makes it inpossable to preform evetyday tasks like texting or checking the weather. The GPS is virtualy non existant, its worse than those first gps phones in the 2000s, most of the time it will rely on the cell towers to triqngulate you to about 5km and when the gps actualy trys to pin you it is not only within a 500m range but sometimes way of. Even everyday tasks is to much for it, like typing, it lags incredebly sometimes, most of the time the letters show up 2 or 3 seconds after I touched it and sometimes like I said never do. Closing statement, If you are planning on using ot for more than a month this is the worst phone you can get. It hase brought shame on the Android name and ensured that I never spend money on ACER again

  • Was a great phone for the year I had it. Though sadly when replacing the screen the LCD contact was broken so I had only a black screen :/ That is one negative of any phone though. Another gripe was no front-mount camera though this wasn't major. The biggest problem I had with owning this phone was the lack of cases available. There is only one company that makes cases specifically for this phone (all other case may FIT it, the camera and power button are on the left-hand corner of the phone, not the middle so you wouldn't be able to use it). Another small thing was that the speakers were rather tinny. Overall, I would have happily bought another model of this phone but I believe that they aren't made anymore. A shame as for the money it was fantastic.

  • Mine would not reboot or wipe data, just keeps crashing if you switch wifi on. After a year..dead ...no response to anything. When working it was pretty good, I even began to understand Android but it was false economy. The battery life is terrible : you could not plan a long journey with this without a back up. Come on Apple...let's have a dual sim iPhone soon. This was 120 pounds wasted .

  • I have to say that I found this to be the best mobile I have ever owned. I bought this as a cheap replacement for a drowned phone and only intended to use it for a short while. At the time I got an intro offer on it for £120 and it was a bargain. I give this mobile really heavy use 24/7 and it has never yet let me down. So 18 months + later I am still using it and see no reason to change it.

  • When it worked it was brilliant but, 9 months on has now given up the ghost and totally died - no answer from Acer helpline so have just ordered another (different) phone. Disappointed that it didn't have a front camera, for 1/2 the price I am getting a new phone with a higher OS and twin cameras.

  • I bought this because I was told it had the best value for money dual SIM phone. From the third month something was always wrong. But the worst are its battery's life and the fact that is something happening in the core and I can't read, receive or send any message. When I called back the store where I bought it from they said it is a usual problem for this model. At first I thought I had found the perfect smartphone, but now please don't bother buying it...

  • Yes

  • hi guys how about battery

  • It is apparently caused by cache size being too big, get application to clear it from time to time. I have App Cache Cleaner running in background and set to clear cache every 4 hours. Since I got it my E350 works perfectly

  • try pixmania

  • I have gallant duo and I have problems with it. I play subway surfer, temple run,and etc...and after few day it get slow... slow when you're playing... I reset it but there's nothing happens... Also when you're texting its also slow... Please help me if there's a solutions for this thanks..

  • You should visit their web page www.acer.com for inquiry. They will report to the police if it's a fraud.

  • I bought this phone 3 weeks ago and have used it when travelling so I could run 2 sim cards at once. I found no issues or problems with the phone at all. It happily runs the 2 phone lines and managed to stayed logged onto skype and a VOIP presence at the same time. OK its not super fast but considering the modest pricing I think the phone is an excellent buy.

  • Which site did u buy your acer liquid gallant duos?

  • Hello I need a dual sim phone where both sims are operating at the same time ie you don't have to switch between the two. Is this the case with the acer liquid?

  • im after a spare battery too if anyone has an answer it be greatly appreciated!

  • I found a smartphone listed as "Acer Liquid Gallant S Duo E350S" on Ebay. It looks identical on the picture and the listed specs are the same, except the CPU/chipset, which is MTK 6577, Dual Core 1GHz. I inquired the seller whether it was a mistake in their description and they responded it was an upgraded Taiwanese model. I'm unable to find any references to an upgraded Taiwanese version of this phone with an MTK 6577 chipset. Any opinions on its legitimacy?

  • I bought this phone when it first came out in the UK, I think its great, one small problem is that the screen light keeps going on and off when not in use, I noticed it when I woke up in the night and saw it glowing, on and off, anyone know why, and how to rectify it, it has been updated twice

  • Check out stores in The Netherlands

  • This sounds like a great phone, but it seems impossible to find. Only expansys has it in their UK online store, and even though it says "in stock" they won't ship for another month (yeah nice scam that one). Are there any online stores where it is available now?

  • I bought this phone one week ago. I like it. When you use internet on sim1 you van offcourse get phone calls at sim2. The brightness is ok, the speed is ok, i love having 2 sims working at the same time, very good of Acer. The one thing that is not so good, is the battery life. Bedides that it is a good phone for a very reasonable price. I would recommened it :)

  • Anyone know what is the maximum video resolution can record using this phone? is already 720p or just Vga?

  • I looked for solutions to the GPS problem, but didn't find much, can you point to any? I'm seriously considering buying this phone, but GPS performance is very important to me and by the comments, it appears to be poor.

  • This according to Acer's website: Data Connections You can use the data connection of only one SIM at a time. When SIM Card 1 is using its data connection, the data connection via SIM Card 2 is not available. When SIM Card 1 is using its data connection, and you receive a call or message on SIM Card 2, the data connection on SIM Card 1 is automatically suspended. The connection will resume as soon as SIM Card 2 is no longer in use.

  • smart phone is nice but heat up while charging, and wont get good service backup , my acer liquid ferrari edition is still not get corrected..

  • if I used first sim to connect to internet all the time (using 3G) can I receive calls on the 2nd sim while keep connecting to the internet through the first sim?

  • Bought thw white variant through expansys. Sim management works well - im forcing all my data via one sim. Phone feels snappy considering its a single core. Handles most tasks well. Wish it had a better battery...and the power button next to camera lense inconvenient. Overall sleek looking phone. Very happy with it

  • Can anybody confirm that the two sims are active, just like DX900. i.e. call waiting on the second sim if receiving call on other sim?

  • I want to buy this

  • Anybody with a more concrete performance review and price in India? How`s this for a buy?

  • Please do not compair Acer E350 to an Iphone... Iphone is an Iphone, Acer E350 is ANDROID....dont buy Android because its cheaper then IPHONE, Buy Android phone if you are a truly an Android Fan. thanks... Many IPHONE FANs thinks, people who use Android is because they can effort an Iphone. just want to clear it up....

  • I've had this for 2 days now and here are my opinions... first of all, I own a mobile app and game development company, so I have a whole slew of phones to choose from... I'm partial to iPhone, but open to any platform... the reason I got this phone is because of the dual sim feature.. it seemed to be the best spec'd phone out there that I could find after a quick search.. I travel between 2 countries alot and I'm sick of carrying around 2 phones... First, overall the phone feels great... the power button on the back is kinda weird... but otherwise, it feels fairly solid... not as nice as iPhone or HTC... but good enough for the price... Screen seems good enough... I wish it had a bit more powerful CPU.. maybe dual core.. but it has at least 1 gig of ram.. and it feels about as smooth as my iPhone 4.... but once again for the price.. i can't complain too much... Now here's the kicker! The battery on it is definetly not up to par... I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do with it, but it might become a serious problem... It'll pretty much last you till about 7pm or so... so not even a full 12 hours with light use.. I'm talking just some phone calls, email, and some social networking apps... from about 8am to about noon it uses about 50% battery.. then by late afternoon, it's about to die! I can keep it plugged in at work, but sometimes I'm out all day... I feel like something is wrong with the power management, it gets quite warm and sometimes the battery app says there's only 1 hour left of power on it even at like a 80% charge... not sure if there's anyway to upgrade the battery... but this is the only thing that keeps this device from being a real decent value... and why does it charge so SLOW!?!?!?

  • I have used the liquid gallant duo for 2 weeks now so far so good i am satisfied with it's performance. screen looks great! and responsive. Dual Sim works perfectly for us working abroad. Battery lasts a day with music/video browsing. Only problem I haven't figured out at the moment is Rooting this android device from Acer. I tried several ways, none successful. anyone having luck Rooting this smartphone?

  • Did you buy it. I m from india too... i want to buy it too. please let me know if you have bought it and how it is working. Does it has any problem if we use it in india

  • Does anyone know where to buy a spare battery for the acer Liquid Gallant Duo E350 in the UK? Or if there is a compatable battery,, I have had no luck on the Internet or with Expansey, Amazon ( where I purchased it from) or Acer UK directly? can't believe there is not something as simple as a battery for sale separately!! Am finding the battery does not last long even with data and wifi turned off . i am not even making calls either. I do like the phone though and hopefully can get this battery issue sorted. Thanks

  • hai BBB, I am from India i want to buy Acer gallant duo from expansys as there are no other dealers available. the website say Pounds= 134 + 40 (Shipping charges). apart from the above do we have to pay any additional custom duties or any import taxes.

  • Hi SVsagar I found it on Amazon, but there were very few indeed. Just two dealers had it and not too many in stock either. Cheers, Ursu

  • Did you have problems with GPS? It's not working properly. I read somewhere that it's a know problem from MTK 6575. Do you know how to solve this problem? Any firmware? A helo should be great. thanks

  • Try on expansys.com. Secure payment and fast delivery. I ordered mine one day, have it at home three days after.

  • Hai Ursu, how did you buy this phone (acer Liquid gallant Duo)? i want to buy it but couldn't find where it is available. i tried two acer dealers but they are aware of this.

  • is aprox 1GB

  • can someone tell us if the phone is 4gb as advertised or less like the samsung Galaxy duo advertsed as 4gb but came with 1.78gb

  • Hi, I have this phone for about one week. It is great, it works excelent with 2 sim cards. All the Apps are working without error, the update of the Apps and new App insatlling is very fast. Finds all WLAN networks in range and does not loose the signal. I can recomand this phone to everyone. The 200 Euro price is very low compared to an IPhone. I think this price will be mantained just for a short time. It is a great device for people who want to have the same features the IPhone offers but would like to pay less.

  • Where can I buy the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo in the Philippines?

  • Hi, how does GPS work? And does Gallant Duo have Ice Cream Sandwich with czech localization? Thanks for answer ;)

  • HI , just got my liqid gallant duo- put both the sims in but it will only recognise 1 sim , in the drop down menu the other sim is not there at all , how can i choose when its not there ?? i tried to swap sims in slot , but same result - also I cant view my sim contacts ??

  • I've this phone by 5 weeks, my opnion: VERY GOOD!! my vote: 8.5/10 It is perfectly working with 2 different sim, Android works well, touch is very sensistive, photos are good, battery is enough for two days of "normal" using, interface is really kindly, I've also installed new software version and any problem till now.. for me best choice for price/quality. Small wish list for next Acel: Gorilla Glass, Bigger battery (>3000mAh), WI-Fi more powerful, rubber cover dedicated, than my vote will be 11/10.

  • No

  • Hi! I ' d like to ask you something. I want to use the first sim for calls and SMS and the second sim for internet use only. That means that the first sim won't work (won't receive call or SMS) while using internet? Can you help me? I'm really interesting n buying it. I f you can you email [email protected].

  • Could you be a litlle more specific to Megan's question? When having an active call on SIM1 can you receive a call from SIM2?

  • You can make it dual active by diverting the incoming calls from one sim to other when not reachable which then will come as 2nd call or call waiting. In that way you will never miss a call :)

  • No. When Sim 1 on call Sim 2 is not active but as soon as the call is ended both sims are active immediately. It is Dual stand by not Dual active. You can only get Dual sim active phone in Chinese phones which will have 2 separate antennas built in

  • that is correct. I have used this phone now for 2 weeks for business and personal use with 2 sims. works really well

  • Is it dual on or dual stand by? Does it take both phonecalls in the same time? So when SIM 1 receive call, SIM 2 still active and can receive call too.

  • Thank you gsmarena and people making reviews for this phone!! making me buy acer. 10 days now and I am very satisfied. Dual works very nice, wifi receprtion very good, phone clear...

  • Hi guys. How does whatsapp work on here? Can i have 2 whatsapp's running for both sim numbers in the phone? Also, if I use sim 2 for my data connection, will sim 1 still be active to make and receive calls? I really want to get this phone.

  • To show or hide your number from the call receiver's screen, Go to Contacts - click on the bottom right of the screen - choose settings - choose Voice call - Additional settings - choose which sim you need to change settings - Choose Caller ID - Choose the option you like - You are done! :) Happy Acer Liquid Gallant Duo!

  • Just arrived on my desk this morning, and already had quite a lot of phone calls and the dual sim works brilliant ... Suggest to all have the necessity to have two phones. Now I'm really impatient to test the WiFi performance too.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks

  • How can I set my calls in order the receiver sees my number on the screen?

  • I was also battling between the Vivo and the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo, but Gsmarena stated that the Gallant Duo "is arguably the most powerful dual-SIM droid currently on the market" (http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_desire_v-review-827p10.php)and since the Vivo's ram is appearently 512mb instead of 1gb, I am leaning towards the Acer!

  • Acer is well known brand & the Liquid Gallant Duo has been used & tested & it has proved to be Good by many happy users. Never heard of BLU & I read in other forums that Blu are chinese re-branded phones, doesn't mean they are bad thou. Choise is yours if you want to experiment or take a risk :)

  • I am confused between ACER LIQUID GALLANT DUO and BLU VIVO 4.3. I need your advice. Acer is famous company. Blu is not famous and some of users of Vivo 4.3 said that that the RAM is not 1G. That make me feel that BLU is not a honest company. Please advice me.

  • I emailed blu manufacturer, and they said the blu vivo 4.3 would work as wifi hotspot

  • Hey all... I am trying to make up my mind between the Blu Vivo and the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo. I know the Vivo is dual core + Super Amoled Plus screen + 720p video + Dual Cam (Skype Video). But the Acer has Wifi hotspot which would help greatly with my ipod touch + 256 ppi pixel density as compared to Blu's 217 ppi. and Acer is more established and reputable brand than Blu, at least in the so-called 'mainstream' arena. I am not a mobile gamer, and don't bother watching videos on my phone. My most important features are Whatsapp, Skype (although I'm unsure if I would need Skype Video calls), and a decent browswer and Wifi hotspot. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

  • is this dual sim active or stand-by???????

  • very good phone from acer.. the phone also comes with a scratch resistant screen. but this is not mentioned in the spec. i have been using it for 2months ..and its top class stuff

  • Thanks, it has a higher rating, but since ive had samsung and never an acer, wasnt sure

  • Defenitely Acer Liquid Gallant Duo compared to Galaxy S Duos.

  • The same happened in Italy...few days and all the "Liquids" have been sold, and now the price is grown up exactly of 10 Euro if no more. No one sell it into physical shop...only through Internet. :-/ I've purchased one (white) only 1 hour ago...the delivery is estimated within 2 days, after that I think to make a review in italian language.

  • I have a samsung b7722 which is dual sim but not android, do you think it would be best to get this acer, or the samsung galaxy s duos?

  • Yes, they are running out of stock , selling fast...

  • Yea its wierd, I ordered one on expansys when the price was low and still havent recieved it! im wondering if they have run out of stock

  • where we can buy. this in India or Bangkok, is it good with Skype.

  • Exactly. Here in Portugal the same is happening...

  • Price keeps going up for this phone!! Normally when a gadget comes out it is expensive & it slowly goes down in value & gets cheaper to buy. But for Acer Liquid Gallant Duo it is opposite. It was advertised for £148 GBP in Expansys website for pre order, then went up to £150, then £153, now £161. They are selling it for £186 in Handtec & over £200 GBP on Ebay & some are even asking for £250 GBP for the same phone on Ebay. What is going on?? May be too many people are interested on this phone compared to other in the same league such as Samsung Galaxy S Duos, HTC Desire V & Micromax A90.

  • My experience with Acer Liquid Gallant Duo: I previously used Samsung Galaxy Y Duos. Brilliant HD screen. Nice speed for the spec. Plenty of internal storage compared to similar phones in the same league + the option to have 32GB Micro SD card. Camera not the best. GPS Navigation not the best. Battery gets drained quickly if all the apps are running at the same time. But it tells you which is using the most battery & you can disable that app or stop it. I had to stop Google map. Switching off Wifi when not in use extends battery life. Anything that you are not using turn it off. Speed Booster app & AVG or Avast Antivirus app recommended to keep your phone in best performance. Games like Temple Run plays fantastic. 3G internet speed is better compared to Galaxy Y Duos. I have the Facebook, Whatsapp, Wheather update, Gmail, Yahoo mail, Google map location service, Ebay, NDTV News, Dinakaran News (you can set up how often you want these apps to self refresh or update to manage the speed). No lagging or what so ever & The phone works BRILLIANT & I LOVE IT!

  • Its very easy to switch between sims but different to the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos. It has options in Sim settings that everytime you make a call or send a text message, it asks you from which number you want to make that call or sms. This has made my life easier because I accidently have made calls from wrong sim few times from Galaxy Y duos.

  • I Have The Phone ... It's Perfect No Need To Change The SIM Cards ... There's An Option To Ask You Every Time U Make A Call Or Send A Message ... The Phone Asks You Which Line You Wanna Use ? .. And You Choose ... Just This Easiness

  • How do you switch sim cards? Is there an easy option in the notification menu like in the samsung galaxy y duo?

  • of course I read....but if I have a Gallant and a 64gb micro sd card....why don't try? ;)

  • It is designed to take upto 32GB micro sd card.

  • I tried the Google Navigation today, it took a while to receive GPS signal. I kept driving with it in my car as I know where Im going. It picked up after a while & did work fine without any problem. Not very helpful when you really need it or depend on it to find your way.... My battery drained within a day, but to be fair its my first day with this phone & I was constantly on it trying out everything. So far I love the screen & the speed of the phone. Dual sim works perfect!

  • The problem is MTK platform with GPS receiver. Find the fix this issue in the internet.

  • Hello, anybody tried a 64gb micro sd card on it? ;)

  • For the price this phone is absolutely excellent and I doubt you will get any better. The screen is really, really good and everything works as it should. The only negative for me is the gps reception - its totally abysmal in fact I have never got a signal at all. Anyone else have this problem?

  • The Good :- Great screen - large good colours Good build - seems sturdy, nice plastic back. Android ICS runs well. Recognised both SIMs (Britain & Germany) - connected to respective networks. WiFi - reasonable but needs a good signal. Samsung-like experience in setup and ability to swype The bad:- Photos with flash overexposed. GPS - useless. Got signal once in 4hrs (UK) and never in 3hrs(Germany). Battery life - not good. I can get 1 day per charge (just some emails, a little browsing, maybe 5-10 calls and 5-10 texts maximum!). The ugly:- Wish I'd bought something else...

  • No, It doesn't polish language. It has english, german, french, rusian, italian, thai, holand, bahasa indonesia, indian and chinese.

  • Just email Expansys customer Care with any questions, they will answer your queries as they are selling this phone to all Europe. [email protected] is their email id.

  • If this phone has the Polish language?

  • I have just ordered this phone White version on Expansys. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Will post my views on it soon. Im currently using Samsumng Galaxy Y Duos.

  • I think i will wait for the Xtreamer Mobile !!! it sounds interesting

  • I Have had this phone since Thursday 30Th August 2012 and so far I am pleased with the phones as for the price bracket the phone works very well holding up to my games testing and web testing including flash WiFi and 3G are very fast and you get very clear calls through it also screen is good better than my brothers Samsung galaxy ace, also the android ICS is a very nice operating system and runs beautifully on this device. My over all verdict is this phone is very good except from not having a front facing camera.

  • This phone exceeded my expectations having just upgraded from the Acer Liquid MT. The screen is vastly improved and on a par with HTC One X and Galaxy S III not just because of its large size ... but because of its clarity....ideal for BBC iPlayer and YouTube videos. Also the on screen keyboard is consequently larger and the Swype text when you glide from letter to letter instead of punching out words letter by letter works well. The speaker quality is excellent and the camera is vastly improved with lots of settings e.g. fireworks for bonfire night ! The colours are more true. Battery life I thought may suffer ... due to the large screen ...but I would say this is also superior to the Liquid M T. Easily copes on one charge a day with heavy use. The dual SIM capability is easy to manage and is ideal for foreign Sims or if there is no signal on one network, just switch to the other sim and usually you will be amazed you can still make the call ! Why does reception vary so much between network provides ? Finally the phone is lovely to hold because it is thin and has a flat back... a bit like a small tablet and the soft rubber bit between the screen and casing makes it so easy to grip. Build quality is not as solid as Liquid MT but the on off button next to the camera flash is genius. Highly recommended if you want a large screen android phone.

  • I assume it is dual "standby" only, I never heard about "dual active" phone wit MTK6575

  • Is this Phone dual active? like samsung galaxy s duos.

  • is this dual active or dual standby?

  • May be that there is no front camera but the price is unbeatable considering its performences, even by Samsungs.

  • Is this phone available in singapore?

  • Already available in Expansys- 179 Euro

  • Without front camera, u cant beat samsung. Fail

  • hi

  • To keep it cheap

  • MT6575 is a single core processor

  • Without front camera, u cant beat samsung. Fail

  • this is why i only buy sony laptops now!

  • no 3g support for USA fail i wanted this phone so bad!

  • VEry good handset Dual SIM :) I will purchase it

  • its releasing next month

  • Where it purchase

  • omg, Acer's the best brand than another, cause what? they made this new one phone and forgot their older series phone OS. My phone Acer Liquid Mt is no more update-able, no official update, what ashame, Acer, this is the last time i'm using your brand because the quality of the future of your products - 0 (zero) Dont expect much from such "Acer" name anymore.

  • At the end, Acer has showed his exordinary power to cheap players on market. A dual sim phone has to be so like that. YES! Cheap, Efficient, Big, Strong and most of all. DUAL CORE AND 1 GIG OF RAM. THIS IS !IT!

  • I also had an Acer laptop with less than 52 hours of continuous use that gaved up. Too bad it was not qualified for warranty because it failed exactly 1 year and 1 week. The reason it was only used sparingly is because I was issued a company laptop (Lenovo). As a pesonal laptop, I was very careful of not using it too much. Acer service center says that my laptop is irrepairable. Up until now, the laptop is with them. It's depressing to claim it knowing that it won't get back to life. Problem is the motherboard. Lesson learned: 1. Use the product as much as you can before the warranty expires 2. Never to buy anything from Acer again! Never! Fortunately, I was not alone. One of my colleague in Switzerland suffered also the same fate with his personal Acer laptop.

  • well it will be hilarious if it will price higher than $200-230 if that is the specs.. but for sub $230 its quite decent!

  • i really dont care if it will have jelly bean update.. for its price... its already a winner! as long as it will have a front face camera for skype/3g video calling i am happy with this! and if the camera isnt the same as the lenovo P700 im grabbing this! this phone's price are on entry level! it is around $230...so i hope it will be available in asia specially philippines where i live! at price lower that $200 or php9000 :P this phone will be a hit! especially it is already a well known brand same with lenovo!(but my experience with acer isnt good, bought a loptop but that was outside philippines its from hawaii but only lasted less than 2 years) come on acer release it now!!! i hate samsung's dominant in the android part! there are a lot of player but samsung play it best.... but looking forward for this phone! i really hope its coming in the philippines before december and make an entry price lower than its actual price! :)

  • it is a dual standby sim! all android dual sim are dual standby means both are active at the same time(with the exception of sony's new dual sim sony tipo dual only one sim is active!)... unlike noia's dual sim!

  • I see the Secondary Cam is blank. Hopefully it does have.

  • is this a dual or single sim phone?

  • Well. Will this receive Jelly Bean? And does it have unlocked bootloader? Then at least the community can PORT Jelly Bean to it. It all boils down to when it will be made available, and how much it will cost.

  • nice specs. but the camera is just basic though. the os would surely enhance it. 4GB internal is fine as long as it is expandable.

  • dual core!!!! what dual core is it? details incomplete

  • Acer Liquid Gallant Duo Detailed Features And Specification

  • this looks good!! hope it will be available in the philippines and on the cheap price! i've never seen an acer smartphone here because they are all expensive!!! 15000 for a froyo? fail right? i hope it will be price lower than php8000 then it will be a hit!

  • People shudder never buy acer phones. Itz display is so bad. I bought an acer aspire laptop after my dell laptop died and I regret it. It's display is so horrible. I swear never to buy acer products again. Cheerss!
