This is the worst phone I've ever owned. Too bad it was given to me and I can't smash it on the sidewalk as I have almost done on multiple occasions from the overbearing sense of frustration getting basic things like the app drawer or Google search to work without it crashing. Happens every time. Honestly the battery's not amazing either. If it was at least you could say it has a great battery, but no. It takes FOREVER to charge, with no fast charging it takes upward of 5 hours and dies at the same rate as my OnePlus 3. There's some Acer apps doing stuff in the background that takes up a lot of power, you can't uninstall though because it's unrootable. Absolute Garbage.

Great phone. After three years of usage still works perfectly just like brand new. It takes solid pics. Battery is outstanding! With this phone it often happens that I forget where the charger is left a few days ago.

You might want to see if you left the protective blue plastic on the lens that the phone was shipped with. That happened to me. :)

I have had this phone for 14 months. It has been a great investment. The battery is phenomenal, bluetooth works great in my car. Pictures are good, although I don't take a lot. I like being able to add a second SIM to minimise charges in foreign countries. Great Costco investment.

Had mine about 2 months it freezes up constantly,takes terrible pictures even outdoors bluish tint...tells me to download something then won't download.... I'm in the live and learn stage....no more Acer products

i like this phone but it wont work through aux or bluetooth in a car- wife's is exactly the same-Acer needs to figure out why and do something about it or they can kiss the smartphone market for their products goodbye

This is the worst phone I have ever owned. the headphone jack constantly disconnects and so does the bluetooth- if I can even get bluetooth to connect. Total junk and a waste of money. I bought one for my wife at the same time and it had the exact same problems. What a piece of garbage phone

Best phone I ever had! Inexpensive, does everything you need, huge battery life and a constant reminder that computer companies like Acer are better at making these things than phone companies are. After all, today's smartphones are more a small handheld computer than they are a phone. Love this thing. And still going strong after the second year!

It is bad because the sound system stopped working sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't.

This phone was great for about 4 months then it started going down hill. freezing , deleting apps, constant messages popping up about some app is unresponsive. It erased the keyboard one day and the only way i could get it back was to yell at my phone till it understood the word " keyboard" I found it kind of funny that it started to go downhill once android 8 came out. Another fun fact is that you cant update this phone to the new android 8.....it is stuck at Android 6.....forever..... I tried to factory rest it the other day....and now its completely toast and doesn't have any operating system .....wtf. Sure glad I bought it at costco and it started to crap out after there BS 90 day return policy..,.

Man, just dropped his phone from the height of my head and it survived!!! No cracks or anything wow... I was expecting a tiny crack but NOTHING!!! For a $200 phone with no gorilla glass or anything that's great!

Like the feel of the phone but one HUGE issue, if you are getting a dule sim phone to have two lines to the phone like I do with my BLU this phone is NOT FOR YOU. the second sim is "standby only". nothing in the documentation mentioned this before I bought the phone to replace my BLU so I am taking it back to Costco

This is a really good phone, I wasn't having sound issues like the other comments were, and it works great. The things I don't like about it are: the front speaker collects dust, screen attracts dust, and 12 days in there is already a tiny scratch on the phone... Oh and I must point out the rear facing speaker is good but when your in areas that are kind of loud you cannot hear it unless you the up the volume to 70% it would solve the issue if Acer put the speaker on the bottom... Note: Good luck finding a screen protector.... And when you FIRST buy it you MUST get a screen protector it doesn't have any scratch resistant coatings, well you know I already have a tiny scratch on it...

I'm having problems with people texting from an apple phone i wasn't getting their texts so i went to costco & they rectified the problem. anybody who had an apple phone had to turn on their SMS in the settings under iMessage

Hello, I have the same issue, after a month from purchase the bottom microphone stops working while the one on the back still works. Using a mic test app to figure this out. After reboot the bottom mic is starting to work again, do that to fix. I still have 2 months to return the phone if it continues to do that.

The sound system is crap. It randomly turns the volume off when i have headphones or an aux cable plugged in. If i turn the music up, it turns it right back down on it's own. Or it plays for a second then just stops playing. Very very very frustrating. And from what i have found online, I am not the only one having this issue.

I was soooo excited to get this Liquid CEST PLUS, especially the price is very reasonable. But after checking everything out, importing contacts, trying to set my phone to NOT show my caller ID sometimes (you don't want telemarketer calls/voice mails/texts on a prepaid phone), assigning individual ringtones to some contacts.... I pulled my hair. The manual clearly states: **Tap (pen) to edit the contact’s details; tap (3horiz.dots) again for more options, where you may set a ringtone for the contact, send all incoming calls to voicemail, or add a contact picture.** Yeah, right! "assign ringtone" is not in the menu!!!! Same with "call settings/SUBS settings/additional settings/show caller ID or not".... SUBS settings are not in the menu anymore. It would be a wonderful phone for that price, I'm ok with the picture quality and the sound with headset, since I am only occasionally on the phone, checking emails or do some banking. What a disappointment. Did anyone else here notice that assigning individual ringtones does not work? Any suggestion how to solve? I just don't want to do a 'blind update' and possibly wreck everything. Thanks for any reply and suggestion. I wrote already on the ACER website forum, but apparently they are all dead >:

Phone is great but sounds sucks. If I hook it up to headphones or speakers and turn it up loud it will stop the music. And Bluetooth sucks at trying to connect.... But other than that cannot complain. Battery is great lasts me 2 to 3 days without a charge and performance is not bad

I am having the exact same issue. Upon restart the DTS is checked off and when I enable it makes no difference in the sound quality. I even tried the factory reset and it didn't help.

I think I know the reason. This phone's dual sim feature is not too good. Whenever you set one sim to 3/4G the other sim will be forced to 2G. And not many network support 2G these days. That is why you get network error on the 2nd sim. In order to use the 2nd sim you have to set the 2nd sim to 3/4G but that means you can't use the first sim. In other words you can only use 1 sim at a time.

I purchased phone because of the dual sim feature however I get the following error message when I call using the second sim "Cellular network not available". I have called the Acer support several times regarding this issue without resolution. I am going to have to return the phone because of it unless someone has a fix. Otherwise for my purposes the phone appears to be work well.

I've noticed that despite all the hype regarding this phone's laser auto focus and other technologies that are supposed to make focusing superb, the camera doesn't do a good job focusing. You'd need to tap on a subject in your frame to focus on it because simply clicking on the shutter doesn't automatically focus, causing images to be blurry, which is kinda strange for a phone that boasts superb focusing capabilities. And even if you do tap on a subject the focusing isn't fast at all even compared to cheap phones and doesn't always get it right. It's like boasting about having a V6 under the hood then finding out it's no better than a 4-cylinder because it's not well-designed and implemented.

I bought this phone and returned it after 2 days. This is a great phone don't get me wrong but the rear camera is awful. You cannot take a proper picture during day time not to mention low light situations. I was wondering if you guys had the same issue or that phone was defective.

I've been using this phone for over a month now and one of the things I really like about it is the DTS HD audio. MP3 files really sound noticeably better with a good pair of earphones. However, yesterday I found that there's a system update so I installed it. A few hours later I wanted to listen to some mp3 files but I noticed right away that the audio didn't sound so good. Upon checking in Settings I found that DTS HD is disabled so I enabled it. However, it no longer works. Toggling it on and off makes no difference whatsoever, and when you enable it and restart the phone, the DTS settings go back to disabled when you check it again. I think Acer somehow broke DTS audio. Even the loudspeaker seems to sound quieter as well. I wonder if Acer knows about this problem and has plans to fix it. I'm very disappointed.
