Well, is a nice phone for those people who not need a very advanced device. I own this one BUT have not much space and is hard to update, so not much apps can be moved to the SD Card. Better have this for emergencies and few apps, not the bigger ones.

For 80 euros costs in Slovenia it is a nice and good phone. Better than my previous Samsung (300 euros) who had heatting problems. Only i am missing (AM)OLED display on the sun, because on the beach you see very poor with IPS displays.

it looked nice at the first but after few days it wasn't able to accept any updates because of the low storage even when am not saving anything on it....After that it was showing no service while the Sim Card inserted, it was still under warranty so I shipped it to the Alcatel repair center (Order # 170615053) . After few days they shipped it back with a litter saying they fixed the problem. When i tried to use it, the same exact problem was still exist !!! They did't touch it...I emailed the repair center again and they have never got back to me...I don't recommend this phone to anyone... it is waste of money and time.

Try to turn off the phone and remove the battery then leave it at 5-10 min then return the battery and starts the phone, if that does not help, try the ''factory data reset'', and the last option is to go into service.

how to connect with your laptop?, first need to put the SD card into your phone, now needs to have information, (pict mp3, videos, etc.) connect with your laptop via usb cable and the screen to be used and you'll get information that you bond with your laptop and click to install a driver, when complete press part where is presented the information is that the USB connector, press twice and it opens a new menu with the ability to connect with the USB Memory or only charging , Mark for USB Memory back and pull down from top of screen and you see usb is connected press on now appears android icon and press to connect with the memory, again press on ok and now on the screen of your laptop confirm the connection or continue withoud scanning, open folder to view files, and now you're in your data card, so choose the folder to exchange data with the copy \ paste method . When finished, open the screen of the mobile phone and click on the turn of to preserve information securely. I hope you succeed.

Be sure that all the contacts are in the sim card then remove the SIM card and put it in another phone, then opens the contacts -menu -import \ export- select sim card -next -select phone -select all- and mark to transfer to phone- and almost completed except if you want to transfer contacts to a new sim card, then following the same procedure only the first to pull out this sim card from which you copied the contacts, then put a new sim in the phone , and now contacts that are in the phone only transfer them to the new sim card or can remain in the phone ,or to have them in both places.

Odd I have all of my apps/games on my SD card. sometimes it resets to store on phone which is a pain. Have to go back and reset to store on SD card. Open settings/storage and the top items should be where you want to store downloads and data. Under apps you can pick an app and move it from phone to SD card and back at will.

I wouldn't recommend this phone. You cant move/install apps to memory card, simply because there is no option for it in the settings and 3 gb of local storage for user to use is not enough for much anything.

Iv had the Pop 3 for a whyl now .soo far its been a good performer. However i only have 2 concerns with it. 1. The "running apps" button, the square one, i was hopping that it would function as an option button when u press and hold it and an options panel would pop out, just lyk with the samsung s5. Tried searching the setting, but found nothing. Its there a solution to this? 2. I bought an OTG flash drive recently but when i tried plugging it on te Pop 3 , nothing happend. But when i tried it with samsung phones, the otg worked perfectly. Does the POp 3 not have OTG compatibility? If not, is there a way fot it to be compatible? Like apps or rooting? Im using this phone for 10 months. Super good at performance. Don't heat much unlike other leading phones. But the primary cam is kinda blurry or bad as longer i use it. Front cam is never bad. Totally love it for a cheap price. Also i played pokemon go always says gps not found. Never lags simple and handy.

ok because you admitted to what I wrote I give you a useful advice; use some tricks you could make your battery that lasts longer, and live longer. never let it go below 25 % and do not go above 95 %, cos, every li - ion battery has a limited number of charge cycles 500-1000 depends on the manufacturer ,because when it reaches 100 % , then the cycle is finished and counts, but the same and when he went below 25 % to keep it between 25 to 95% the cycle is not counted and prolongs battery life. need to know , that li- ion batteries do not like when completely empty and completely filled , so put the phone on the charger whenever you are able to , because it's good for the battery.

internal memory is for android system and the applications that go with the package , and those that later you install. to what you put 32 GB SD card can not to enlarge internal memory , means SD card is to save data ( pict , video's ,mp3's , ) but some applications can be transferred to the SD card, but if you take out the SD card ,can cause problems then there is sweeping the phone and later these applications will not work , so you have to reset the phone. and reinstall the application. internal memory it is impossible to increase . the SD card, use to save your data on it And you should know that the internal memory is divided into 4GB of system and 4GB for user . total 8GB

I have the 4G Pop 5 8GB internal memory expandable to 32 GB. I bought a scandisk 23GB SD card to boost teh memory but cant seem to get an more than 1GB on it. The phone is crap. The keyboard freezes during typing. Predictive text is the poorest in the Android family. Battery life is very poor. It can't reconnect to wife if you leave the coverage area and come back unless you prompt it. At times it does not show the arrival of WhatsApp messages or emails unless you wake up the screen. Its the worst Android I have ever used. It looks like a toy when compared to Samsung.

You get features that is enough for how much you have paid. Battery life is reasonable, camera and graphics are not much good. Touch screen is not worked well for me, not much responsive display.

You've got too much running in the background. Made the same mistake as I got 2 days when new but had gone all the way down to 8hrs. Can go to apps in setting and then hit Running to see what's going on. There are lots of free batt saver apps. Most will shut off what your not using until you need them.

I'm on data and wifi the whole day. i compared it to my other phone MyPhone My31, batt life is way better than this POP3. sometimes it freezes for a few secs like about 5secs. hate the batt life really, I always bring my charger with me

I bought a Pop 3(5) some days ago. It looks great, but none of the cleaning apps I installed and tried worked very well. The cleaner which came in the device helps, but not enough, I think; it seems not all the cache and not all the junk files are cleaned by this cleaner, and the temperature in the smartphone keeps usually over 40° celsius. Have anyone here had the same problem??

it looks like the battery is worn out because you do not need that to charge to 100 % , but 95-98 % because each battery has about 500-1500 cycles and it could reach that number , but try install -ds battery saver- or- du battery saver- from playstore it could get more time on your batt.
