Allview X2 Xtreme - User Reviews

  • Blue Pure XL is also the same phone as the Gionee Elife E8 and the Allview X2 Soul Xtreme

  • except the blu xl the other three device is identical. just rebranded for bigger market share.

  • A big and nice phone, but these things are far not enoug! Have no IR port, no barometric sensor, no dust and water protection, NO RADIO, and the camera is also not very comprehensive especially in low light. The so called 24 Mp camera some time is OK, but the optics is not a premium one.

  • 1,Allview 2x xtreme 2,blu pure XL 3,gionee elife E8 4,Qmobile Noir E8 which one to buy?

  • There are too many opinions that underestimate smartphone. I use it for some time and are pleased with it, even if ewte manufactured in Romania. Someone is trying to denigrate anything is Romanian. That's not correct. Sure, it assembled in Romania, the components being Chinese. And? The device behaves very well and has outstanding features. Worth the money.

  • Not true. I do not see how you compare. differences are large.

  • Maybe you mean another smastphpne. None of what you wrote is not true (except some applications that can not install normally. You can install Yet in other ways) .Using a while this unit and are satisfied. Sure, it can be better. Compared with the price it is OK.

  • Strive, I installed application.

  • Unbelievable... I can't install the Instagram due to error 504. A lot of applications can't be installed, but how is it possible to not accept the INSTAGRAM?!? SHAMEFUL!!!

  • Sorry, a quick Google search turned up a completely different phone. Yea, they really seem to be the exact same phone except for the 4G bands which seem to be modded for Europe carriers whereas the Blu Life seems to be for US carriers. Both companies import them from a chinese factory. Allview (a Romanian company) admitted as much during an interview. Then they just install their Android OS fork and tune the receiver antenna it seems (they don't even slap the logo on, the Factory does that for them, as-is custom practice for large orders).

  • Comrade??? Are you comunist? I am not! Try for a Russian or a Chinese eventually! Shame on you teasing people!

  • off course they are all the same look at this

  • you gotta be kidding me, I have the BLU LIFE PURE XL and it has 24MPX camera, off course it is AMOLED SCREEN, mine is running a 64 micro sd memory card son I don't foking know what you talking about, also mine has 2k resolution screen my sister got the allview x2 extreme and they are both same device!! son stop lying dude!!

  • Well... The phone have a lot of software problems and uncopabilites between hardware and software. A lot of applications can't be installed because of 504 errors, and unfortunately there is a lot of applications with this kind of problems. The display shows signs of burning spots in place of the pictographs. No radio! The so called 120 Megapixels pictures is nothing but a marketing bluf. The battery is empty after 6 hours use. I am so sorry buying it. Is a waste of money.

  • Except the phone you mention only has a 16mp camera, has a 1080p screen that is IPS and NOT amoled, which is half an inch smaller in diagonal. And also, doesn;t support memory cards, which is unacceptable. Given all these, i'd say an extra 100$ on the price-tag is somewhat justified, but to each their own.

  • is if you compare phones, you will realize that this is exactly the same phone with the BLU LIFE PURE XL, and their price difference, 349$ BLU life pure xl, and more than 450$ for the allview x2 just saying

  • shame on you comrade, this is exactly the same phone with the BLU LIFE PURE XL, here the comparison oh! and its just 349$ since it was launched

  • This is the website of the company. More detalies there.

  • what website did you buy it? thanks!

  • Well, after a little wile I have decided to let my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for my wife and buying me this Allview-X2-Xtreme. It is really a good gadget! Better than the Galaxy Note 4 and cheaper, and now I can use only this one instead the Note 4 and my old Galaxy S3. The Allview-X2-Xtreme is a very good dual sim phablet. Of course is not the best of the time, but a really good one but a cheap one, having a really good performances. Has no baro senor, IR, heart beat sensor, or IP 68 protection unfortunately, but it is a very good gadget. I recommend it!

  • in US/Canada it's sold by 'BLU' as their 'Pure XL'.

  • This is a hit! Despite this brand is not well known all over the world, it is a really good one! A very nice design, big enough to enjoy the net, with very powerful features, good autonomies, good camera, good display, and a good price!!! I like it very much. Go for it!!!

  • yes, lte mean 4g

  • Correct!!!

  • I buy this phone and I am disapointed about: battery (consuming and charging) and missing fm...

  • Does it support 4G? camera pixcal is verry good collaty

  • @Goku Yes but only on one sim Generally it's nice mobile but if you want play games in bus or something you need power bank - it's really battery consuming. Plus you must know battery saver option is imo useless - it's turn off synchronization and it can't be edit (like in Honor 4X i had) extreme saver is totally useless -it's delete all widgets and i think even delete some information from apps. It don't have so many awesome functions like S6 but it's work good and when you have good power bank it's nice mobile. Plus design is awesome - metal frame and this gold color (like premium mobile but with some system disadvantages like say before plus for example you can't add dates to contacts - any dates even birthday)

  • Does it support 4G?

  • anyone having serious problems with wifi connection constantly dropping?

  • Bought this phone 3 days ago and I need to tell you guys that this phone is simply amazing. I have been using a Samsung note 3 so I compare the allview to that. The screen is gorgeous it's very bright and accurate. The 6 inch let's you read effortless. During the night I could set it very dim which is good for I hate when I can't read in my bed. Even at the lower it seems to be color accurate well at least whites have no tint. General speed is very good gui does not lag at all. WiFi reception is excellent - way better than the note has. Camera : it is simply way beyond anything I have seen. I could take macro shots so nice that I call it dslr quality. Manual focusing actually works and is easy to control exposure. All in all I think this phone is a lot better than the competitor offerings. U only got to get used to the right side button arrangement. This is strange to me right now.

  • Maybe because it was never intended to be sold in US? This is a product for Europe....no need for US frequency.

  • Worse than useless in the US. No band 4 (T-mobile) or band 17 (ATT) primary band coverage all but guarantees no LTE for this phone. The same problem with 3g. No AWS says you can kiss T-mobile HSPA goodbye and no 850 says you can sometimes not even receive HSPA on ATT service. Did engineering get the memo or do you really hate America that much..LOL..

  • Hi everyone. I'm Mio Zabala im planning to buy Gionee Elife E8/Allview X2 Xtreme/BLU Pure XL. but suddenly we don't have that unit in our country (philippines) i want to buy online. or anyone who want to sell your unit.

  • course! no IOS it have OIS. optical image stabilisation. its android ios is on apple devices :) dude :D

  • Allview says X2 Xtreme has no IOS ....

  • Hello..the battery is non-removable and I may be wrong but it has something to charge quick..idk if quickcharge 2.0 but they said it supports that kind of thing. So again,if I'm wrong, it's because they sometimes answer confusing. Anyway the charger's output is 2000 mAh (according to them).

  • Hello, What about the battery... is it replaceable and has it quickcharge 2.0 or something like that?

  • correction..it seem it does have radio FM

  • It is supports aws 1700/2100 bandwidth

  • yes, i'm sure..i asked them and they said it does NOT have radio FM

  • Un the official site they don't said anything about radio. They does't said it don't have radio.

  • On Visual Fan's site, in Romania, is specified it has no radio FM. Do you know for sure it have radio? I am very interested about that, please confirm.

  • on the official website they said it doesn't have radio FM

  • Same phone rebranded in a different country.

  • acording to gsmarena the allview x2 xtrem features fm radio . right or wrong ? regards

  • Same features with gionee E8 how this happened or it's there product ?

  • Allview is a romanian company based in Brasov that rebrands the phones Gionee produces. This model is Gionee Elife E8

  • $550

  • Please add prices and maybe websites to order from. Thank you

  • It's the same company with a different name.

  • allview x2 is gione rebranded

  • gione is not the orig brand, allview is the orig brand

  • Allview X2 Xtreme will be available in the Philippines on it's original brand GIONEE ELIFE E8

  • These specs are almost identical to the Gionee Elife E8. Same with the photo.

  • that phone is available in PHILippines

  • Actually, the MTK6795 and Helio X10 are one and the same. Helio is the new branding of the MTK67xx series.

  • Well, considering only the on paper specs, this device is really great! Really congrats/well done and absolutely keep it up!

  • What are the SAR informations for this phone? (I find it irritating that the SAR informations are missing for most of the new phones)

  • Actualy on official site the cpu is listed as Helio X10 :)

  • Ya, X2 X needed screen protector to avoid scratch.

  • Wow. QHD Amoled, 3500mah li poly, decent mediatek chip, 24mp OIS and phase detection. Looks pretty good. Wonder if it's ddr3 or 4

  • It's super phone but i want fast chaeger in it

  • How good is the OmniVision's OV23850 sensor when compared to the Nokia Purview Camera sensor, apart from the 4K recording.

  • Fantastic phone

  • I thought that, and I am curious what other companies will use this sensor in the future.

  • Camera sensor is OmniVision's OV23850

  • Seems pretty impressive a worth taking a serious look at.

  • The first Android device with a 24 MP camera. I would like to see how it performs, and I am curious who will be the second to put a 24 MP sensor on their device(I suppose it will be Sony, but who knows).

  • this is the bomb.. super specs!!!
