I guess that depends on how careful you are with the phone. I've only experienced touch id not recognizing my fingerprint but it very rarely happens. I just have to wipe it and it works on the second try. bendgate is avoidable as well. using a hardcase is one way.

hi I would not recommend buying this phone now. it is extremely long lasting if you take care of it, but due to the newer model iphones with built in safety functions such as gorilla glass, the iphone 6 plus is probably a waste of your money. if you are getting an iphone in 2019, a cheap yet quality option would be the iphone se or the iphone 7 128gb LTE.

The settings for certain things that are turned on or off do not work (example: read receipts are turned off in settings and in individual message settings and is still sending read receipts) this phone has nothing good about it. It is the same as any other phone except it doesn't work and steals your information. Will be switching to Samsung because I am done with Apple.

if you mean the first ios 11 then it'll be hard to find someone who's still running the device on it. I got mine a few weeks ago and it was running on ios 11.2.6. I skipped 11.3 and 11.3.1 and I now have it on 11.4 and I can say the interface is much smoother now and launching apps seem to be faster. I experienced a lot of lag on 11.2.6 which I don't see now on 11.4 even when multi-tasking. at this point I don't even know if I'll update to ios 12 since I'm already satisfied with how it functions in 11.4.

not much active 6 plus users here. or probably just because this phone is rather old. lol well, just sharing my experience with the 11.4 update so far. one issue that's been resolved is the animation lag when unlocking the phone with touch id. it was so annoying on the 11.2.6 (I skipped 11.3 and 11.3.1 so I don't have any comparison with those versions). so that was the main difference I've noticed. the interface is much smoother now even when multitasking. battery life is very much the same but charging time seem to be quicker. I can't say this without a doubt but it does seem to charge a bit faster. and it seems to get less warm when using for a long period of time, and as well as when charging. the update seem to have cleared up a bit of storage space as well. I had 50.32gb before the update and it had 50.9 gb after. so maybe they've compressed some of the system files better. that's about it. everything else is still the same. I hope there's a more significant changes on ios 12 otherwise I'm sticking with 11.4.

I guess it would depend on your personal usage. The se has better ram, so you'll probably experience less lag there when multitasking. 6 and 6 plus are pretty much on the same ball park, just depends on which screen size you prefer. I went with the 6 plus just because it's screen suits my hands better. I really have a hard time using smaller devices. And its 1gb ram is enough for me since I'm a casual user. I mainly use my phone for just email and texting so I don't really need something to multitask too much with.

Anyone else tried the ios 11.4? Been using it all day and haven't seen much difference except for the interface animations, particularly when unlocking the phone with touch ID. I was using mine on 11.2.6 and from time to time unlocking the phone was rather laggy. Seems to be much smoother now. Battery life is still the same and I'm not 100% sure, but the phone gets less warm now when playing games or charging. It used to get quite warm on mine before the update. Gonna keep observing and will post an update if I see anything else.

I heard that's because of the bending issue. they call it the "touch disease". as the phone bends, a certain chip peels off of it's place which causes the non responsive touchscreen. you certainly need to have it repaired.

I bought this phone at launch and I came here to compare some specs. When the phone first came out it was the first of the size and had a few issues with the operating system (like some are experiencing with the iPhone X not being optimised). Immediately they’re impressive (my previous phone was a iPhone 4) then after a week you notice some issues that stop it being as smooth as some functions. Most of those are fixed in 3-4 months and improved again after 12 months. For me 6 months to 18 months of age is the sweet spot where it’s been out and optimised and running well. Just before the release of a new iOS when things slow down and get a little buggy (assuming the iOS is primarily designed around the newer phones hardware). I’ve been happy with my phone as I was purposely avoiding the current IOS (11) knowing that things will start going downhill as soon as I upgrade. This particular phones lack of ram is now really obvious as it struggles to keep its place while switching between apps, animations are frustrating as you need to wait for the phone to catch up. Overall my current phone (iPhone 6 Plus) is ~3 Year’s and 2 months old, it’s suitable for someone that uses a small amount of apps and finished the task they start. Roughly 18 months of life left. For someone that barely uses apps and wants basic gps/messaging/phone and occasional google search. Roughly 2-4 Year’s of life left. For someone like myself someone that would normally fact check dates and some information as I’m typing this it’s now becoming frustrating as I know I would’ve had to copy this to save it as the page would refresh if I left it, apps are becoming noticeably slower and waiting for animations or the keyboard to catch up with my typing this phone is at the end of its life. Obviously financial position changes the above slightly, I care about my function more than what people think of my phone while I can afford a new phone each year I don’t see the point. I’m currently searching to compare razors new phone, pixel 2 XL, and the iPhone X. I’m currently wishing I was searching next year after razor has learnt some lessons from its first phone or for a iPhone Pro Plus (what I suspect will be next years larger iPhone X) because I feel like I’ll be upgrading again next year.

Yes, I upgraded my 6s Plus to ios 11. I really like the new features and am glad to have upgraded. I found that it is true that battery life suffers the first day and it may be due to it resyncing/indexing. But after that feels just as fluid and nice as previous versions. Has a lot of little niceties like I turn off WiFi in control panel when leaving home and it automatically reconnects me when I'm back again. Do not disturb while driving very nice as well. Just get past the first day or so then apps really do open/close just as quickly, maybe even better.

Apple replaces warranty phones from a different factory than where the store bought phone is manufactured according to Jesus, senior advisor. So don't trust their replacement phones cause they are not good. I got one and the phone started having problems after the 90 day warranty was up and because it was out of warranty Apple would do nothing. I got this phone in 2015, October, with ATT next. A year later the charger cable no longer would stay seated in the port. No I don't do crazy things, just hope to charge the phone. Anyway hard to charge the phone when the cable no longer seats firmly. A happy occurrence, I shattered the screen and took it to Apple to replace it. They couldn't get the screen to calibrate so they gave me a new phone. This was 2016. Forward to 2017, about a year later than getting the new device, and I have the same problem again, I have to push hard to get the charger to seat in the phone, and have a hard time getting it charged. Poor engineering on the charging port, or something. I would not get this phone again.

The worse phone ever! Especially after the iOS 10.3.3 update. It totally kills the phone. Constantly shutdown on its own and will requires a restore to factory setting before it can be used. Barely used.. cause after an hour or so the problem repeats itself. Apple does not allow roll back of the iOS and the tech support can't help much. Useless crap. Gonna go back to Android for good. Not a good phone at all. I had this after switching from the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (horrible mistake) because I missed iMessage and iOS. I think the only thing Apple has on its users is iMessage, and for some reason, a lot of people feel pressured to fit in over green text messages..? I definitely read up on that whole iMessage matter, but now I have the iPhone 6 Plus after a whole year and I'm more than ready to give it up for the Samsung galaxy s8. There is a glitch on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 only that cannot be fixed. Someone I knew couldn't scroll on safari or open a web page because the phone would highlight text, click on text, crash the page, or scroll with broken glitches. Took it to the Apple Store and they said it was a tech problem that could not be fixed. That is a huge flaw. Not only that but the camera.. the front camera is awful. It is like taking a photo on a potato covered in mayonnaise. The selfies I've taken have come out really poorly, and I hate the fact the camera flips the picture. I've had to rely on snapchat for it to not flip, and all the selfies I've taken are poor, low quality. The phone is slow even after taking care of it like a baby, no scratches or drops, not even in water, you name it. The phone takes forever to load web pages and snapchat is a dreadful lag. Taking photos on any other app will take a solid 30 seconds to even grab the photo, and by that time if you're taking a photo of something possibly moving, you've missed it. I really dislike this phone and can't wait to get rid of it. I only like low battery mode but the charging regardless takes forever. One photo takes up so much space. I've had to delete countless apps and photos and mind you, I have no games or big space taking apps, I have no videos, movies, or anything even documents saved. Still, there's not enough space. I'm tired of the Apple updates taking 10000GB every time, too often for unnecessary things. I'm tired of having a full storage every 5 seconds, not being able to even edit a video because there's no space. Also, the screen dims on its own. And I have the auto brightness turned off and the brightness on full blast because I like it that way. The screen itself breaks and just dims, goes really dark and switches back whenever it wants to. Even the fingerprint security doesn't work when I use it with a clean, same, dry finger. It takes 5 tries or more and by then I get frustrated and use my pin password anyways. Now literally every phone seems better than this garbage tech. I'm tired of Apple and their repetitive, same phones. It's the same thing but "better" (not true) every new iPhone. Android is better with actual better and new features, but as much as I love the Apple brand with iMacs, MacBooks, and iPads, the iPhone is not for me. And if you're someone who wants a good phone, this is not the one. Especially because the stuff that's happening to it right now is annoying, and happened just after the one year mark, not like I had this phone for 5 years or anything. I can't help but say I am disappointed. With one Pro, I like the front camera sometimes. It rarely focuses properly or at all, but when it does once in a blue moon, I had taken a picture of my tongue (piercing purposes) and could see each and every individual tastebud. I thought that was really cool. But everything also weighs it down.

Hi Please go with iPhone 6s Plus as it is really fast and smooth if you compare it with 6Plus. I have been using 6Plus from the day it was launched and everything went good till ios 9.3.5 and i have stopped updating the firmware ever after that . But recently my apple watch was not connecting to my phone saying the phone needs to be updated to latest ios because of that i updated to ios 10.3.2 and i must say it ruined the 6 Plus like anything . The issues that have faces so far with ios 10.3.2 are 1. Application forecloses 2.Keyboard lag. Not at all smooth .. u wont feel like you are using a premium phone even the 3000Rs. android phones keyboard are much better when compared. 3.Overall Phone lag. Not at all smooth. And with all these **BS i decided to sold my 6plus and managed to pick the 6s Plus. I must say its really far far better when compared to 6plus in terms of speed and performance and the much annoying keyboard lag is gone for ever. Also i have learned a lesson to not to update the IOS firmware updates on both the watch and the phone .. Because the money greedy apple is purposefully ruining the previous generations devices with there crappy firmware updates. Frankly speaking if they are concerned with the security thing then its better to release only the security patches to older gen phones why they are forcefully releasing the new firmware to old gen that can barley run the new OS because of the Hardware limitations. it would be better to leave them like that with the features that they released at the launch. So that at-least people can use it properly at least for 3 or 4 years (it depends from people to people).

My iPhone 6 Plus had the screen flickering problem, I took it to Apple Store and they gave me a new one for 149+ tax. I did not have warranty and the new one came with a 3 month warranty. The only option I've got to transfer the 5GB+ of backup data of whatsapp is to manually add one conversation at a time (each with 7k+ chats), which makes the transfer time exponentialy higher for every chat transfer. This is just to let you know, if you are transitioning from an Android to iPhone (or viceversa), be prepared to either spend a weekend transfering your chats or leave them in your Android handset and start iPhone's whatsapp clean as new.

Hi, unfortunately no, I did backup her chats on the Android, but the chats are stored in Google drive, when I launch Whatsapp on the iPhone, the app tells me there's no backup, because it's looking at iCloud's folders and of course there's nothing in it. It's called "search my iPhone" and should be pre-installed. The app itself is self-explaining. Just enter your AppleID and you are able to track it with your other apple devices with that AppleID. This is also good if your iPhone is stolen, because the thief will get stuck on trying to find out the code and the waiting time grows, reset via iTunes isn't possible without code. So it is just worth the price of it's material, he can only sell it on eBay as broken. But of course you should/have to remove this when you sell the phone.

I had an issue with the camera, its known that a certain batch has been reported as defective, but my phone just for not being part of that batch even though it is presenting the same fault could not be fixed as part of the quality plan that tried to solved this issue. A great phone. This is my second iPhone since the 5S. My storage is 16GB and to be honest, I am running out of space! All I have installed is the usual apps, like FB, Twitter, Instagram etc. and a couple of big games and loads of smaller games. No videos, music or many photos! The next phone I get will be 128GB, probably the iPhone 7S Plus (or iPhone 8 Plus, if that's what it'll be called?). As for my phone, it is great for gaming, taking photos and checking social media and emails. I use the stock Apple mail app. The screen is excellent and the sound is good, even from the single speaker. Touch ID fingerprint scan is also excellent. I bought a refurbished one, but the battery life is very good. It charges very quickly using USB from my computer. I don't mind the physical home button. I have seen/checked out an iPhone 7 and I did not like the haptic-feedback new home button. It vibrates and just felt weird. There is really no need for feedback, but who knows may be I'll get used to it. I used to have Android but now I prefer Apple!

I am just comparing my sisters (6s+ ) to my 3yr old Lg, the thing that I have seen in the great war between apple and android, is that Android phones tent to have a heck of a lot more processing power than apple. purchasing an Iphone 6 plus w/64GB storage space... the seller said about 12-15GB is used by the apps that are already installed on the phone... so you really have about 50GB (if buying the64GB) to use for your own stuff...pics, videos, etc... I looked at this guys phone... he had tons and tons of pics, about a dozen videos, a bunch of games... and still had over 25GB storage left. I'm concerned though from previous posts that after 1.5 years, this phone will develop issues... I agree that a defective NEW phone should not be replaced with a REFURBISHED phone at the same price..and it depends on the carrier on how things are resolved. I have had dealings with a certain carrier (whose ads are mostly in pink), and I'll never go back to them. Terrible service, unfriendly customer service and paying excessively for a refurbished phone was ridiculous... ended up in court...

Please dont update to ios 10. Stay at 9.3.5 which is better for 6 and 6plus. Issues i am facing with ios 10 1. Keyboard lag sometimes 2..animations lag or stutter at times 3.not at all smooth 4.need to touch homescreen for entering the passcode since am having a finger print issue i always need to enter passcode. 5.when you recieve a call the scree will be blank. You will only hear the ringtone. But to see the screen need to press the home button. Again this will occur at times . 6. Speaker sounds seems reduced and now sounds very weak and narrow. 7. Music player is also not good and seems laggy.

I ve been using iphone 6+ for almose a year, the problems that i face is Sometimes when someone calls i couldn't answere coz the screen will freeze, sometimes when someone calls the whole screen will come blank, and the speaker volume while receiving calls is quiet low. Other then those problems , I loved my fone, its fast, very good camera and battery life. Looks awesome too. I am not sure those problems are only in my fone or its same for all.

My IPhone 6+ has "touch disease". I have only had the phone for year and a half. The phone is displaying green rays of death and it cannot be repaired. Touchscreen hardly works and answering calls are a hit and miss. Also, the screen will go to different apps on its own. The chip in the motherboard is defected, broken or bent. I have owned an IPhone for a long time and have never had any problems with any of them except this one.

My husband and I switched to iPhone plus 6. It has been trouble every since. My speaker had a lot of.static from the start. Could not hear on it at my ear. Had to put on speaker phone. The Verizon worker told me it suppose to be lower than my orther. I complained about it several months telling them I needed it replaced. Than it quit all together. Verizon store look at it and said it was definley a manufacturer speaker defect. So they sent it back to be replaced. Got a new one I thought the next day, wow wait, it's not new it reconditioned. Mine was new, had it 2 months. This one had a lot of problems too. Than I got charged almost $400 dollars on my bill because they claimed it was water damaged. It was not water damaged. They tried to tell me mist may had got on it in the shower. No I said it it is not in the shower with me. Could not believe I'm paying now as I'm writing this for a userd messed up phone, while Verizon tries to get out of replacing these bad iphones. The pictures are bad and thing is so slow it's pitiful. Ii was excited to get a new phone after 5 years. Very very disappointed that I still owe over 500 and have a used piece of crap phone

I have the same problem with my 6 plus also. I have a coworker that has a 6 plus with the problem also. I think it is that Apple have too many phones and can put out proper updates on the phones. The only thing I could do was use touch ID and it helped with unlocking the phone and not lagging as much. Apple is also notorious for making updates that make the phone run slower. They do this as a way to make people go to the Apple Store and get a newer handset. I like Iphone only for their resale value. I think Android is better but Apple has the better resale value in the end.

Absolutely frustrated with apple. I have had the 6plus since January 2015, and on Sunday it just died. No resets are working, Apple said there was nothing they could do about it. Offered me to pay around 270 pounds to get this one a replace it with a new one. How ridiculous is that. You pay 700 quid for a phone and it dies after the first year. Apple knows this is a manufacturer's defect and has not made this information public. if your local agent does not change it during the warranty period then your stuck with a very expensive paperweight.

I haven't had it a year and the screen failed and locked me out unless I squeeze the phone . I took it to an Apple Store and after almost 3 hours I thought it was resolved . The new phone lasted 1 day and started the same thing , a stuttering white line on the top, I go back and am told now I have to wait over an hour just for an appointment then 2 hours plus to get it hopefully resolved ! Very disappointed with the service ! As well as the product !

Just within 15 months of purchase of iPhone 6 Plus 128GB a bright spot developed on the screen near "sleep/awake" button. Within just couple of days this bright spot expanded in size and became a strip of approx 15mm length. Apple Authorised Service Centre inspected it and confirmed that this was not the physical damage. Since the phone was just 15 months old & because Apple Authorised Service Centre confirmed that it was not due to any physical damage, I requested Apple India customer care to replace it at no cost though it was out of warranty period . However they refused to accept it. Also I learnt that Apple can not handle such repairs in India since they are not equipped to do so as yet. I just wanted to share this experience of mine with Indian phone buyers for them to make informed decision while buying Apple IPhones in India.

Yea - Check what apps you have that are allowed to send notifications and which ones you want to use background refresh. I pretty much turned everything off, left only the ones I really want active, and it made a huge difference I noticed the next day. And I found that just installing the apps that are 'integrated' like Twitter, Facebook and Messenger cut battery life noticeably. Not allowing them to notify me isn't really an option, but I can tell these are serious battery hogs. Then again, since I can still go a day and a morning without a recharge, I can't really complain too much. Huge difference from my 5, where the only way the battery made it through the day it was if I was unconscious or lost the phone for the day.

Hi in reply to your query, try these solutions; 1. For camera quality correction reset the camera to default settings and remove other camera apps. This should work. 2. For battery drain try to disable app notifications if u have a lot of apps installed and remove sync settings for optional mails. Battery is real good for 6 plus I have tons of apps and my 12 mail accounts synced with iPhone. Try the solutions might help u...cheers

I too was a Samsung fan until I started to have ear pain problems using note. I had been using iPhone since the first launch and gave up on iPhone 4. Since then I have been using all phones both windows and android. Worst operating system is Windows phone..it actually does not matter what brand of phone u r using or what configure does it have. In today's date it matters is how long can it survive on battery with features and apps running in background. In Android u get good configs but does the phone last enough. Configurations are high because of the Android OS requirement. Higher the config more is power drain. Every now and then keep cleaning your memory otherwise phone starts to heat. I am really satisfied with iPhone 6 with all features ON tons of app installed and never ever required me to clean the memory or so... Had a budget for iPhone 6s Plus but decided on iPhone 6 Plus 2 reasons: lower hardware less power consumption all day long battery; secondly apple provides IOS specifically for specific iPhone models. Not as android in which a single OS version runs on lacs of models. This is my opinion and I happy to be back on apple. Best phone maker ever..cheers

tried this for a week after having a s4 for 2 years......before that I had an iPhone from the day they came out. I will say iPhone is by far the best marketed phone. I wasn't immediately impressed with the specs and what really burned me is their software updates consistently limit what the user is allowed to do with it - I drew the line after the newest software update rendered my aftermarket charger and headphones useless. So I dumped this and bought the Samsung 6 Edge Plus...I was and am blown away everytime I pick it up. Has a slightly bigger screen with a MUCH higher pixel rating, the camera absolutely blows the iPhone out of the water with DOUBLE the megapixels and 2160p compared to he 1080p on the iPhone. The pictures it takes are absolutely stunning. I have a Nikon 810d and I swear I question what takes better pics lol. The edge has 4 times the ram and a much better battery. We could get into the ability to change your font, texting bubbles and backgrounds, and so so much more user interface. I really wanted to iPhone so I could more easily sync to my MacBook, Mac and iPad AND I wanted to be able to FaceTime anywhere, anytime without lugging my iPad around but there is just no way I can pass up what Samsung has to offer, Oh yea and the built in wireless charging thing.....need I say more.

I got my 6 plus for a couple of months now and coming from android there's a lot to hate and little to like. First of all as a power user and an app developer iOS is extremely strict, from limiting to coding ONLY on a mac (can't use Swift on a PC) all the way to app censoring and filtering for a lot of minor details. Second of all iTunes. I have both Mac and PC and have done my researches and get this, Apple almost intentionally code the iTunes to be a CPU and memory hog ESPECIALLY on a PC. My laptop would literally scream at the top of its lung even on idle and no iPhone plugged in. The rest are just mostly nitpicking like very hard to even set your own ringtone, limited file transfer capability and so on. But you know, if you're not a power user, the iPhone would be a great match. In the mean time i'd stick to my Samsung Edge as a daily driver.

I had the same problem. My iphone was 11 months old, & this happened 3 times in the past 2 months. Eventually after pressing the 2 hard reset buttons for several minutes it would finally come back on. I went to the apple store yesterday. Was told it was a software problem. He backed up the iphone to iCloud, wiped the phone clean & then started to restore. The phone would not restore though, so he gave me a brand new phone. Definitely go to the apple store.

Battery is not good (he charged it in the morning up to 73%) and when he got to work, it was at 5%, it takes him around 30 minutes to get to work. 2. He complained when his wife has to call him twice or more because the phone sometimes doesn't ring, it stays on sleep mode, and it only reports to him that he has missed so many calls. 3. So, he said he is planning to get Sumsung, he said its much better compaired to iPhone. As a result of his reponse, I came to this page to view user opinione about the device, and after reading these comments here, I don't think I'll go for this phone, I will look for something else. I'm a power user so I love good bang for my buck, and the samsung galaxy J series seem to meet the criteria for the things I personally need it for. J2 and up can still play asphalt at max settings with no lag so games are a treat as well, however the mah of the battery and other features def has the upper advantage

If it can't b ul get a new device if it's under warranty. IC loved iph's n they r great to use. U can get ur problem fixed don't blame Apple for an issue of urs.

This is my first experience and most probably the last. The phone had hardware issue with the speaker. I replaced it with another terrible one. This time it hangs too much, unresponsive at times (esp. when I need something urgent) and d-grade camera resolution. Sometimes call option screen does not pop up. Sometimes people call me on my S3 to tell my phone is switched off. Apple should at least learn from China how to make good phones if they can't provide good products.

I'm not a hater at all. I've had the 4, the 5 and my 3 daughters all have the 6 and love them. My 6 plus experience has been very bad. Bad camera, feels like a tv in your ear. the photos are all blurry, even after having the lens replaced after apple said there is a problem with the camera on that phone. Battery life is short. Feel like I have to plug in a lot. Not a good phone in my experience. I will never recommend it.

I am not an Apple hater, but I dislike the iphone 6 plus. I had the 4 for two years and it was great. This is too large. I feel like have a tv at my ear. Also, even though I have taken it in to Apple (like going to the Dr. long wait, even with an appointment) to have the lens removed, the camera still takes blurry photos. I would never recommend this phone to anyone. My daughters all have 6's and like them. The 6 plus is a dog. The battery runs out quickly and I am constantly plugged in. Sprint is the worst at customer service and I'm sick that i bought this phone.

Howz the rear and front camera on 6 plus. I made a hands on look and camera test on note 4,note 5,6 and 6 plus. I am not happy with the camera. Selfie is not that impressive.indoor shots dont really capture light.selfies not good.rear is kinda say just okey type.if we zoom the pic it dont dont show tge details percectly .holding the phone...its not a handy phone.it got an impressive screen size and battery life. Note 5-it was awesome front and rear camera.even in indoor lights.picture have the details and sharpness when we zoom it.selfies are superb compare iPhones note 4.I personally suggests the 64 GB model.since it dont have mmc support. I dont know whether there is a lagg in note 5.coz iPhone is awesome in this area.no lag.and good performance. The iPhone store tried to rectify but failed and was helpless and only directed to visit the service centre which is 250 km away. I change from samsung note 4 to IPhone 6plus. The great thing about note 4 is that i can download all songs for free. iPhone no. But in Note 4 i experience lag, automatic rebooting and battery drains fast. iPhone 6 plus i cantt believe i can use my phone the whole day without charging and the fact that theres no lag and no constant update from applications. Hello, I need your opinion guys. I never used any android device. Currently I am using iphone5s but I want to upgrade. I am confused in between note 4 and iphone 6 plus as I like both of it. I researched about both of them. What I come to know through all videos and comments that both devices are good at their own places but have drawbacks too like note 4 lags after some time, battery doesnt long last more than a day for a heavy user and battery issues of iphone 6 plus too. What made me confused are different opinions as some says both have superb battery back ups where some commented completely opposite. So, what do you think in which should I spend my money? I prefer to have long battery back up, lag free smooth experience, good camera, fast internet browsing including hassle free instant messaging on messengers like skype, yahoo, whatsapp, viber, facebook etc and elegant look. Hi all, Even with the iOS 9 and 9.0.1 updates, my iPhone 6 plus(128 GB) was running smoothly. But after updating to iOS 9.0.2 that a couple of weird things happened: 1. My cellular network has been replaced with "Searching..." and it does not appear in the "Network" field when I go to Settings > General > About. "Carrier Settings" does not even appear in "Settings" either. As a result, I can't use mobile services at all. Troubleshooting that I have done include: - Removing the SIM card tray and checking for obstructions/physical damage. I even used another validly working SIM card and it still wasn't recognized. - Following all the steps outlined here: If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data - Apple Support. Note that there are no issues with my mobile carrier's network, or my account. 2. Very minor, but when my phone appeared on iTunes, it was only identified as "iPhone" and not by the custom nickname I assigned it (let's say, "My iPhone"). - Very easily fixed on iTunes, but from past experience, I have never had to re-assign my custom iPhone name when I upgrade firmware -- so maybe that relates to another problem with the 9.0.2 update? Short of doing a factory restore, or waiting for the next update, is there a way to resolve the mobile service problem? iPhone 6 plus, iOS 9.0.2

I have been a consumer of Apple products for years. I grew up on Microsoft/Windows based platforms for most of my life. After the Windows Vista fiasco, lack of consumer support after releasing such a faulty product, which essentially left me with a $3200 paperweight I decided to switch to Apple. Now I am a tech savvy individual but by no means claim to be a "certified technician." Yet I have rarely encountered a technical problem that I could not mend myself (with the exception of having to have the logic board in my MacPRO Laptop replaced due to the fact the wiring just shorted out per the Apple technicians). I also do not endorse one brand in particular. I endorse the brand that works the most efficiently and if that means that I have to switch brands periodically then I will do so. With that being said, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my iPhone 6 Plus. I owned a 128 GB iPhone 4S for years. The only reason I upgraded was #1 I was way overdue for an upgrade and could receive a new phone substantially cheaper but had to do so before the option expired and #2 the battery on my iPhone 4S was finally giving out and only staying charged for half the day. I don't make/receive many phone calls and loathe texting so needless to say my phone was primarily just hanging out in my pocket as a quick reference tool. With my iPhone 6 plus I have experienced nothing but problems with it since obtaining it in June of 2015. It has great difficulty syncing to Bluetooth in both my 2012 Hyundai Tucson and 2014 Nissan Pathfinder whereas my iPhone 4S had no issues whatsoever. The iPhone 4S would connect as soon as I unlocked either car (didn't even have the cars started yet). The iPhone 6 Plus requires manual connection EVERY time I get into either car and have to turn the vehicles on. With my Hyundai on the old iPhone 4S I could scroll through my phone list of contacts, calls, etc. on the vehicle touch screen without interruption in the music. With the new iPhone 6 Plus as soon as I do anything involving accessing the phone menu on the vehicle touch screen the music stops playing and has to be manually restarted. It does this in my Pathfinder as well. Not a major issue but still annoying considering the newer technology should be more efficient, not less. It performs relatively poorly with my Sonos sound system. When I select playlists on my phone for it to play, it will only play one song at a time and will not cycle to the next song automatically (and yes I am selecting the all tracks option under the playlist heading, not selecting the individual song). So while running on the treadmill I have to manually select each song I want to play. My previous iPhone 4S had no issues cycling songs automatically on the Sonos system. The biggest problem I have had with the iPhone 6 Plus is that every time I have a phone conversation I get a high frequency feedback from the ear speaker on the phone and have to place the call on speaker phone to get it to stop. Then I have to revert back to the ear speaker.The individual to whom I am speaking can hear this noise as well and they state that it sounds as though my voice becomes incredibly muted. It will usually do this about 4-5 times per call with each call averaging 15 minutes in length. The phone has NEVER been dropped or abused in any way. I treat my electronics (and all my possessions for that matter) as if they were my children because I have to work extremely hard to be able to afford them and really enjoy using them (I am a little OCD to say the least). An issue I had with Apple support was that my iPhone 6 Plus was still under the 90 day phone support service and I had the receipt to prove it. However, the automated phone system was convinced that my phone was past that 90 day mark and was not eligible for assistance without paying $30 to speak to someone. I was finally able to bypass the system and speak to a human being whom I had to debate with for 15 minutes that my phone should still be under the 90 day support service and I stated that I had the purchase receipt to prove it and offered to fax or e-mail it (low and behold the system was using my iPhone 4S rather than my new iPhone 6 plus as the reference, which of course would have been out of warranty and out of the Apple Care Protection Plan period). After finally getting them to listen and acknowledge that it was within the 90 service period they analyzed the phone and determined that the phone would have to be replaced. I will be sending it in for a replacement and hopefully that will resolve many of the issues I am having, after which I will update this review. Nevertheless, if Apple is going to begin pumping out poor quality products the way old Microsoft did, well then I guess it will be time for me to change to the Samsung phones and begin purchasing products from another technology provider. This does really disappoint me because I have truly loved Apple products for the past 8 years and in our household we own two Macbook Pro's, two separate iPhones, three iPads, and we were going to purchase an upgraded iMac Retina 5K all-in-one computer (we will see on this one, depends on how the iPhone 6 Plus situation is resolved). C'est la vie....

I am very disappointed with the position of the on/off button on upper right side of phone. It is very awkward, while pushing the button your hand grabs the other side and you push the volume control buttons at the same time! Just a terrible spot for the on/off button!!!! I liked it at the top so when my tri-fold case was closed I could simply turn it off when I got a phone call at a inconvenient timing. Now I have to buy a bi-fold case so the button will be exposed and that leaves my phone open to get dirty and scuffed on the side from being inside my purse and every day wear. Just so disappointed in location of off/on button. Change it to the top and we would be so much happier. The rest of the features are off the chart!

ip6 (64gb)you will get plenty of room for photos and applications but your phone will die in 5-6 hours of moderate to heavy usage. In 6+ you cant kill the battery with 1 day of heavy usage. It got really OSM battery life, 1080p Display and one of the best phones i have ever used. But if you opt for ip6+ 16GB then you will be very limited with the available storage. I you are okay with battery life and you are ready to carry a powerbank then go for 6 (64gb). I am using 6+ 64gb . Fantastic

Now, i use 6+ 64g. All the software/games i want before, i can install them without worrying about space. The resolution for 6/6+ is high, its quiet boring if the space limit you from install much softwares.

I updated my software to ios9 and then ios9.01 but my iphone6 plus is still acting funny and doesn't let me use my apps on mobile network. I can only use them if I have wifi around. This is sick and am going crazy coz I miss on so many things during the day at work. Is there anything that we can do about it? 1 gig of ram on a properly optimised system is way more powerful than 4 gigs on a buggy system. The mere fact that a phone needs more that 3 gigs of ram to even function properly and then still crashes is a testament to how unoptimised, inefficient and sloppy the operating system is. I wish people would stop hating on Apple. Instead of bashing their 1 gig of ram, rather marvel at the fact that they were able to get that level of performance out of 1 gig. Rather look forward to them utilising that technology and when they eventually bump up the ram it not only competes but blows away the competition. Optimisation = innovation, and a lot more people should realise that it will be mutually beneficial for all of is in the long run. Not only in phones, but technology in general. Say for example a satellite in deep space needs a processor, and its going to be out there for 6 months, shouldn't you rather use a processor that gives the same performance but uses less than half the power? Innovations like being able to squeeze the most out of components is not something the be shamed, but rather celebrated, as this is what furthers science and technology.

after reading the description and hearing many complain from my friends, I get really confused! IPhone has nothing better than sony z interms of design, cameras, size, simplicity...etc) more than one of my friends had found their phone broken in their pockets, without any noticeable pressure or hit on the phone, the reason probably is that the Iphone screens are sensitive glass. and many other didn't see any big change from their older iPhone versions! My camera on my iPhone 6 plus takes the blurry photos. It's being recalled. I have to drive 45 minutes there and back to get it done. They are offering nothing for the inconvenience or transportation costs. They said I could mail it in, but it would take 10 days. Who can go 10 days without their phone? yes you can transfer any files to ios or android devices, i am using "share it" (wifi transfer).. off course you should install "share it" to receiving devices.. also i recommend the "infuse" video player (free app).. open with infuse any videos received from share it app.. infuse is almost the same as mx player on android.. just try it.. i'm a satisfied iphone 6 plus user..

I have an I-Phone 6+ and I love it. I am like a fish out of water without it. Takes excellent photos and videos especially in natural light. I currently have IOS 8.4.1. I have been using the I-Phone since 3S and have never had a problem. I have over 120 Apps I use regularly and no problems there either. I am 67 an the ease of use is great. Apple Pay works great and I just love the fingerprint reader. It seemed large when I first bought it, (Relative the the 5S I was using before) now after almost a year it actually seems small.I will and have recommended this phone anytime.

Even though the resolution is low the quality of its camera us superb, i have the 6 and the galaxy s6 and i prefer the camera on the iphone, the camera on the s6 makes your skin look unatural like you have a make up and the color is too saturated, iphone cameras gives you a clear and natural look and a high looking quality despite its lower resolution

Ok the iphone is my least favorite phone series, so i'm going to share my opinions about the iphone 6 plus. Ok first the size, it is almost is like a ipad mini but tiny bit smaller (and i have seen a iphone 6 plus and a ipad mini) i know it bends but that isn't good for a phone, it could bend when in your pockect which could be very annoying, ios is my least favorite phone system it's not as customizable as android. Apple has done something with the front facing camera that let's you burst selfies. The selfie apocalypse is coming. So overall you can buy if you want i just don't recommend it.

I have purchased this mobile on last Saturday. I also have HTC M9 Plus . The sound quality, specially when I watch movies on IPhone 6 plus is not so satisfactory as I feel theatrical experience in HTC M9 plus. However over all phone is great. As it have 5.5 inch screen compared to 5.1 inch of HTC M9 Plus. I also have Galaxy Note3 . But there is no match of HTC M9 Plus when sound quality is compared.

HEY! Use before complain on specs. Its better then expected. The battery on this thing is incredible, and it can charge up on any car chargers, where other phones like Notes will have trouble charging on. Heavy Business User: The iPhone 6 Plus is by far one of the best phones I have used to date. The battery is the first I can use all day and literally have to do everything in my power to kill the battery. I can send hundreds of texts & emails and answer even more phone calls and still have a full days battery :) iMessage is a really nice features and the Phone syncs beautifully with my other devices. I also have poor eye sight and the 1080P LCD HD Screen is awesome ... U have used other HD Screens with even higher resolutions but you can't seem to beat the iPhone 6 Plus for clarity ... I also find Amoled screens hard on the eyes especially in low light and have never had this issue with the iPhone 6 Plus. >>> I would also like to point out that I also owned an iPhone 6 regular and the screen and battery were no where near as good as on the 6 Plus! Worth every penny :)

Well, from someone that identify as an IT guy, you don't seem or act like one at all. Apple A8 is a very good performer despite having only two cores. Check the benchmarks. Sure, the 8 MP camera seems terrible on paper, but it gets the job done and it's got a superb stabliisation thanks to the OIS.

Camera is superb though especially its slow motion feature. Fingerprint responds soooo fast. Stable system(no lags 98%). A brand that you can show off.. haha.. But i still prefer note 4. well, iPhone is best as its always pertaining to OS however, android phones ryt now is way far more better than iphone devices by means of its features such as ip#__proofing, sensors, camera modes, durability(except for 5/5s--tank-like house casing), battery(wherein iphone6/6+ is getting better), and connectivity as well.. An iphone user before for months but shifted to android(note4) now. Lags can be avoided by enabling the option, "kill running apps as soon the user exits" under DEVELOPER MANAGER on settings or simply manually killing it by viewing running apps. Iphone 5/5s design is the best. Never thoiught of having 6gen. Materuial is so weak though, can be bend sooooo easily

i'm using iphone 6+ and it's great. i already sold my samsung galaxy note 4. samsung note 4 have 3 gb ram which is with a lot of features that we really don't use it. that's make note 4 become so dumb when i play games it's suck. crash, lag(seriously lag? with high proccesor and ram?), monitor bug(suddenly can't tap anything). sudden restart, and lastly samsung is hot phone like if you need a hot tea just put it a samsung into your tea. but samsung can charge fast enough more than iphone. that's all. - performance wise..its best. - usability wise is not even comparable to MIUI - Camera.. I could say the default camera app is bad. Better to try different app to get good processed picture. The picture taken shows all grains and original human face/texture which will never be good. The xiaomi and samsung are taking good picture ( processed ) and gives good feel.

1) Probably because of your internet connection speed. Slow loading web page is not caused by 'the slow processor' and/or the low amount of RAM. Also, iDevices have amazingly powerful SoCs. Check out Youtube where people are hovering above 60 FPS while gaming. 2) This is actually true. Scrolling through huge amounts of pictures have the Safari (or any web browsers for that matter) lagging. It is mainly because of the 1 GB of RAM which is lacking in terms of today's standards. iPhone 6s (Plus) are set to rectify this very problem, however. So, stay tuned. 3) I have no experience with either devices, so I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. 4) It is not confusing once you get used to it. 5) Apple A8 is manufactured by TSMC, not Samsung. And it's nowhere near as slow as you claimed it to be. Although I agree that Apple products are generally pricey, they're worth every single penny you spend - except the iPad Mini 3 and the new Macbook.

Hei allan, i am so sorry for your phone but fortunately my iphone runs really great. Cheap n slow processor? Yup, if you compare on the paper apple is indeed has smaller specs than any top android or windows phone, but in this point, apple has the most effective and eficient use. Altought the ram and processor is smaller but they can work faster than the other phone with 3gb of ram. The display for top android or windows phone is indeed better than iphone. lcd vs QHd or 1080 vs 1440, but what is the use for that awesome display? Even the display of iphone is good than enough to watch movie, play games etc. in the other hand, better the quality of the display consume more battery too, and that is so uneffective for me as a heavy user. I sold my iphone 6 before and change with sams*ng S6. First time i used it, it was very awesome, the screen works so great, sharp, clear;. But, after i use for 2-3months i realized the battery ran very fast, that is due to its amazing display that drains the battery too much. Beside i found my s6 is laggy, especially when use some apps and move to another apps. So i decided to sell it and back to iphone 6+.. 3Gb ram of s6 is useless because Every time i open the smart manager, i always find there is only 500-700mb ram left (after i close all the multitasking and refresh it).. Maybe if oneday sams*ng can have ios system in its phone, it would be an amaziny step!

Fast and no lag? Stop disinformation! I tested this phone! 1) Slower web page loading than some top Android Phone and Windows phones! (mainly because of the slow processor and partly because of low RAM of 1GB!) 2) Horribly slow and difficult scrolling through the browser! Also when tapping scroll repeatedly, sometimes the scroll skips and only on the second tap it scrolls and in a very slow motion! (lag or touch unresponsiveness, whatever you want to call it) 2) LCD is not as bright as of Huawei's Mate 7 or Lumia's 1520! 3) Very confusing (all IOS are, but this one especially) Phone's and browser's Interfaces! Low brightness LCD and a slow cheap Samsung's processor just show that Apple's greedy ideology hasn't changed! They deliberately decided to order a lower quality LCD and a slower processor and use both for one year, while keeping the starting price of the phone $750!

This is just an advice to all iPhone lovers especially those who are intending to buy iPhone , ask yourself this , what are u going to do with the hand set, is it only to make and receive calls and sent sms's , secondly u must know the difference between Mb and Gb , and I'm saying all these things because even 16gb it's a lot of space to some users, and if it is not enough go for 128gb and lastly if u receive and send emails, play music, download files and make calls the whole day u cannot expect the battery to last for a week , I love apple products, especially my iPhone 6 plus

I own an iPhone 6plus. I bought it be because of the gorgeos looks, the batterylife, the screen, the camera and to me, the perfect size. As being a swede, i have to say tthat iwas to fast buying it. We don't have an original predictive keyboard as of yet and the third-party keyboards do not work properly, because they always crash and goes back to the original keyboard again. This is so bad. The batterylife was good, but now I feel I can't get a full day of usage. This batterylife was the primary reason for buying the phone. I have two other phones. They both have Swedish predictive keyboards and good batterylife. One windows phone and one android phone. I like this phone, but I won't buy another again. Apple don't care of all their customers and eventually that will be a problem for them. /G

Why do the later retina displays keep cracking/breaking so easily (seems they can break spontaneously)? Devices are so pricey and yet so extraordinarily prone to expensive repairs. ALSO when will they include a SD memory expansion facility? Flexibility is below average! We've had terrible experience, which can be described as Catch 22. New phone purchased from US. Camera focus stopped working 3 months later in Indonesia, where US warranty is not accepted. Attempt to repair in Singapore, which fixed the camera, but destroyed the speaker. iPhone 6 plus replaced in Singapore with a supposedly new phone. Two days later the touchscreen stops working. After two factory resets it is still failing. Took the phone to Apple service in Spain. They refused to repair because the replacement "new" phone has already a repair ticket inside the device. but no corresponding official repair record in the a Apple system online. Contacted Apple US, who are sending us back to Singapore, where this phone was "purchased" from... What are the odds that Singapore would help even if we are planning to visit this country again? Speechless...

Hi guys.. this is melki.. I hanged in big problm. pls help me. my uncle is using iPhone 6plus 128gb. I know abt iPhones someway but not much. so he asked me a doubt tht my storage is showing as full. see the problm and clear it. so wat I is connected tht phone in my brother lap. then system asked continue with new phone or alrdy stored device. I click the 2nd option tht continue with alrdy stored device. then it will started to transfer the files. I didn't know wat was happening. after the some time iPhone was restarted. then I was check the phone. then. got shocked. the files transfered from lap. and account was changed. then I asked my brother wat happen. then he said alrdy I was using my iPhone 4s kno! I stored the files in it. so tht files only now transfered from lap to phone. really i got shocked. my uncle was shouted at me. cos my uncle stored so many things in his phone lik bank details, contact details. but all files now visionless. my files only thr in phone. so I want backup files. how to recover the files pls guide me. I bought an iPhone 6 plus from AT&T on 04/24/15 and a month later when I receive calls I won't hear the caller then I couldn't make calls only messages and bang a black screen. Took it to AT&T I was told to take it to an apple store, I did but apple told me apple does not insure against water contact so they told me for another $348.00 I can get a new phone that was 06/17/15 on 06/19/15 talking on the phone it went so hot and now I cannot lock or open it stays open but I have no access to the key board to make a call or use the maps so total bill in two months is now $1.346.98 for 2 dead phones and that excludes $225.00 At&T withdrew from my account on 06/09/15. iPhone 6 plus socks,where is Steve Jobs when I need him?
