Asus ROG Phone II ZS660KL - User Reviews

  • What do users who have 2 months already have with rog phone 2?

  • When you unwrap the factory plastics from unboxing, there was nothing further applied to the screen. But Gorilla Glass 6 is strong enough to withstand scratches to a certain extent. It wouldn't hurt to further enhance protection though...

  • hey does it come with plastic screen like protector against scratch out of the box?

  • Pls can u confirm to me that the tencent version supports arabic language?

  • I've only owned the ROG Phone 2 for 3 weeks only. Using it as a daily driver with a third party case, tempered glass for the front, and a Skinomi skin for the back. I did the same when I got my hands on the OG ROG Phone in January. And for both (so far), I've not experienced any dust build up in the camera units whatsoever.

  • This is a bit worrying, there are people reporting dust input to the rog phone 2 device

  • Have a read here - Hopefully this article will answer your questions.

  • Hey there friend,i got a question for you,you seem to have experiences with this phone, tell me,is it dust resistant? It's important to me cause of my job and i'm currently using the HTC U12 plus, even though i love it,i miss the headphone jack, and especially those specs are damn tempting...i'm afraid if i get the rog 2,dust will mess up the speakers...had this problem back with the HTC M8...

  • I know it's not IP certified, but is it water and dust resistant?(especially dust because of my job) Also does it have better camera than let's say my HTC U12 Plus?

  • i have the 12/512 global version of it and just received updates in 1 day on Wednesday. and it pushed the security patch to august, you might want to check if ota updates is working after converting the rom to global

  • using Tencent version with flashed global rom. This phone is so so smooth. Buttery all over. Just one thing that gives me a bit pain, security updates are still showing June 2019. Otherwise the phone is extra ordinary.

  • I am very disappointed asus not bring 8/128 variant to malaysia like they did in india.12/512@1tb variant is kinda for a rich ppl.and not everyone can afford that..

  • Your comment looks like a typical fanboy of some other brand, the specialty of the device is to play if but you can also use it for everything a cell phone is used and more if it is an android device

  • Yes, it has.

  • i had the tencent version for few days. its already an overkill dude. u dont need 12gb ram

  • had this for few days gaming: 9/10 UI: 6/10 antutu: 481K if ure not using this phone for gaming, think twice before buying

  • You can try some shops at Bashundhara City like KRY International, Brothers Electronics etc. they can import for you. have a look at their FB pages, and inbox/call them. this might help. though I havent seen anyone bringing this model yet. but it can bE..

  • I need global version rog phone 2. How to buy in this phone.

  • Please help me.. I need asus rog officials version.. Bt this not available in my country..i am from bangladesh..bt how to buy in this phone...please suggest me...please😪

  • Thanks for the confirmation guys. And Arun, I am willing to buy this phone and call recording is needed by me, that's why i was just getting confirmed. Because it is not only a gaming device but also a mobile phone, and recording is one of the functions of a mobile phone. I won't only buy it for gaming but also for calling, so it is totally fine to ask/look for that option. CheerS..

  • THIS is a GAMING phone. do u need a 855+ for call recording!

  • Thanks for your reply! I agree with you and to me the speakers, battery and the display is what makes the ROG 2 very attractive not to mention build quality! I am however unsure about buying such an expensive phone with open back and very heavy for when you drop it and also I've read about many users experiencing red tint issue on lower brightness and also amoled burn-in makes me also worried about being able to use the phone for many years... Any insight on this?

  • I dont see this as an option in my settings.

  • Yes, it does! it works very well.

  • yes

  • Can anyone please inform me that whether it has built-in call recording option available or not? Thanks in advance.

  • hi, can we add new user in ROG 2 phone??

  • So what's the difference between ASUS_I001DA and ASUS_I001DE?

  • Yes the Rog 2 have global version and tencent version

  • Hello ROG 2 Users, i wish to buy this phone. Would appreciate your help to let me know about function of adding new user in ROG 2 phone, like we have in one plus phone or second space in Xiaomi phones. Can we add guest mode or new user in this phone?

  • then your poor choice , not my problem to concern see ya

  • I going with nubia 3s, it have better cooler than rog 2

  • i like notchless display, no curve edges, loud surround sound stereo speakers, don't mind spending extra buck for those

  • Hey, I can give a few reasons which might justify buying it. For one, the front-facing stereo speakers are awesome. I've been watching plenty of videos and a few series after getting the phone. The sound quality is crisp and clean. To top it off they even pack a bit of bass. Secondly, ROG Phone II might be a good choice if you are not planning to upgrade for a while. 12 gigs of RAM is simply overkill at the moment, no two ways about it. In a few years time however, it might come in handy. Same goes for 512 gigs of internal memory, unless you do a fair bit of emulating. 6000 mah battery is likely to survive a fair bit of abuse too. Just don't drop it in the toilet. The phone isn't even splash-proof due to the opening in the back.

  • Man my brain is telling me to go for the ROG 2 even though it costs $1000 USD where I'm located but I just recently noticed phones like the Oppo Reno Ace and Realme X2 Pro are just around the corner and they are making it very hard to justify spending so much money seeing as they will go for around $400-$500 once they are released in Europe... However I am not at all fond of the waterdrop notch display even though I realize it is a trivial issue... Does it seem dumb to buy such a phone only to use the "hide notch" option for when you are watching videos, playing games etc? There is also the Nubia Red Magic 3S which has been released globally and is available for around $550 on their website... I realize it isn't quite as good as the ROG 2 overall but you basically get the same features and just as powerful of a gaming phone for almost half the price! Then there is the Nubia Z20 which is also quite tempting with a price point around $550... It lacks the higher refresh rate display and I don't like the curved screen for practical use but overall it feels like very good value and it even has the gaming "trigger" feature with the second screen for when you are gaming! Can anyone give me some good reasons / justification to go for the ROG 2 512 GB which sets me back $1000 or does this price point basically mean it is a stupid purchase compared to what you can get for more or less half that price?

  • From Malaysia? Buy OnePlus 7T pro also not bad

  • Rog get update like 0neplus??

  • what i bought phone from B&H North American version And VoWifi VoLte is blocked from asus Not working

  • 6000mAh is missing 200mAh a different and Real 5800mAh Li-Po battery.

  • hey, how you turn on dts x for youtube? and iz it better than note 10 plus dolby atmos i wonder..?

  • I was in a similar position and upgraded to ROG Phone II. Before anything else, consider Realme X2 Pro. It is eerily similar to OP7t. It has a few key differences though: a headphone jack and more storage and RAM. Of course, it does not ship with OxygenOS but the top variant costs only 500 euroes.

  • True flagship killer. Thank you Asus.

  • rog II have global version ?

  • M using op6 and not playing any game and not addicted with photo but like using strange phone. Should I change to rog2?

  • I bought this phone after taking in consideration OnePlus 7T, Redmi K20 Pro(right? Yeah spec wise) was a tough call as 855+ is marginally better than 855. Consideration factors - screen(120hz refresh rate, 1MS screen response time, 240/s touch sensitivity refresh rate), battery(once fully charged can go upto 2 days without charge), dual stereo speakers(front firing) gets really loud without much distortion, headphone jack with DTS :X ultra amp built-in, studio quality experience, gamer's delight - Air Triggers ( can be mapped as per requirement), X mode (kinda over-clock mode like on PCs, keeps processor to run on higher frequency), Fancy system lighting (if you are into it and want something which stands out from the crowd) Now my usage review : Loving the battery life, screen ultra-responsive, no stutter whatsoever in games(PUBG, COD, Real Racing 3 etc.) Games which support 120hz refresh rate looks amazing! Camera : Main 48mpx sensor is good like other phones with the same sensor, wide -angle sensor is good enough in day time. Considerable degradation in quality when in average illumination or indoors or artificial light. Vibration : It has got zonal vibration motors which are like a xbox/sony controller which vibrates on diffrent inputs/output/feedback in games. General vibration is good enough. Call quality : It has 4 microphones surrounding the phone which creates atmospheric effect cutting out background noise effectively. Signal reception : Asus as done so much in this that it has created multiple reception zones for WiFi and cellular which helps in getting ultimate reception. I have my old phone with same service provider and 4G enabled that shows 3 bars and ROG shows full signal reception. To check, i even did a speed test on network on both phones and there was a clear difference. Usability : This is a heavy phone, you need to use it with care. Big screen like a OnePlus 7 Pro. Bezels at top and bottom.

  • What can i advice you is to go with ,, what do you do with a phone ? " I don,t have an expensive phone ( Samsung A50 ), because i use JUST social media ( Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger ). No games. It's enough for me. If you are a video producer ( or photot ), there are many chances to observe Hz differences. You can invest in a lot of things with 450$. Just be zen with what should you buy and which app you would use. P.S: Sorry if i have gramatically mistakes, english is not my native language

  • Rog phone 2 for more battery life and gaming accessories. I would say "oneplus 7t pro" because 12GB ram and good price. IPhone 11 pro I don't like the IOS in general and spend more money for nothing!

  • If rich yes, if not no!

  • Should I go for this phone the 512 GB model and spend $1000 or better to go for more value phone I am also thinking about the newly released Nubia Z20 for $550 and if not that and I go with a "gaming" phone with higher refresh rate the Red Magic 3S is launching globally tomorrow and will be around $500..? Is it worth spending double the amount for Rog 2 if you have the money? I like Z20 only thing is it lacks higher refresh rate which everyone says great things about and curved screen looks good but not so practical... Is amoled burn-in a real problem? If I buy Rog 2 and spend $1000 I think I will be satisfied for many years but can you safely rely on amoled screen to last for 3+ years if you are careful and take precautions?

  • Playing game with this phone is a sweet experience

  • That 📱 have built in call recoder?

  • How much storage is available from 128gb out of the box in indian variant??

  • yes its getting realy hot 49C after 50c screen getting dimer when you hitiing GPU at 99% (pubg 1080p gfxtool maxout, Talion game maxoout, other modern games that support 120FPS batery drain to the sink)

  • This probably be the best phone for 2019 if you don't mind live without VoLTE

  • search for xundd. pronounced as xande just near ermita area

  • Is it a good choice to shift from oneplus 6t to rog phone 2 ?

  • I hear a lot of complaints that this phone, like the Asus 6, is getting hot. Especially while playing. This is true? Anyone using Rog Phone 2 write your review here.

  • If u are a gamer,simply buy ROG 2. super big battery,FM Radio,headphone jack,advanced cooling system. Right on this time,there ain't better phone than ROG 2

  • Fortnite machine ? Asphalt 9 Legends machine ? Super Mario Run machine ? TikTok machine ? I mean lol, my almost 1 year old in use Galaxy A5 2016 is as hot as a heat gun when I surf on TikTok and when I'm playing Super Mario Run, which I deleted 'cause my phone was so hot that you could get warm holding it in winter. Deffinetly buy ROG Phone II, OnePlus 7T or iPhone 11 Pro ? Can you please tell me which one ? Pls ?

  • The question is when will the ROG phone 2 be released in Indonesia?

  • Please, release ROG phone 2 ultimate edition in indonesia🇮🇩

  • You can order them online in Aliexpress

  • Although primarily a gaming phone, this is great for non gaming enthusiasts as well. It's an all rounder. Also, for those lamenting about lack of covers or glasses for this mobile, you'll easily get them in Aliexpress which is a Chinese online shopping app of Alibaba. There is free shipping as well as fast shipping for 2 to 3 hundred rupees, depending on the days.

  • ROG 2 (Rock Star) Fastest mobile ever made!!!!

  • Is the battery still GOOD after 1month of usage like its brandnew.???

  • I don't actually game on the mobile actually! I'm just a big fan of Asus (I have an Asus ROG Laptop, the AX88U router and various PC peripherals where I actually game on). If you're tired of notches and punch hole cameras, and love Android OS, it's definitely worth taking a look. But just bare in mind that it does come with a hefty price tag, and not much access to after market cases/screen protectors. I was likely enough to find some good stuff on Amazon though...

  • There is no indian variant . Just the Tencent and global. Tencent available on aliexpress

  • Would you recommend it to a person who aint that big of a gamer? Actually i dont even game regularly. I wanna try smthn different and the battery, screen and speakers on the rog phone has caught my attention. Where i live, it costs the same as a note 10 plus 512 gb.. I'm a note user but this is the first time in my life when I'm not actually excited to get one as note has become the s series with a pen.

  • Go to the Asus eShop and select your country where you will see what you can buy/pre order. But as mentioned before, the 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM will be the Chinese/Tencent variant. The Ultimate Edition (with 1TB ROM and Cat20 modem) is released later this year.

  • Those will be the Chinese variant (Tencent). Globally it will be the 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM.

  • Is the ZS660KL ever comes in 855+ 8gb ram and 128gb ROM? Saw a lot on eBay.

  • Is it global version? If not then when it will be launched globally?

  • You can pre-order at any ASUS ROG store.

  • Anyone know a retailer here in Canada ???

  • yes xx

  • 90% confirmed these phone beated the iphone 11 pro max In terme of performance and stereo sound quality and screen smoothness feeling and battery and Headphone JaCk But camera IS FAAAAAR behind iPhone even iOS IS better then custom Asus mui Still need Many if improvements

  • Where can I buy this in the Philippines?

  • Loving it.

  • Only had this for 5 days so far, and charged it once!! The battery life is really something else. I have my screen refresh rate dialed down to 60hz, and only toggles to 120hz when gaming (setup using armoury crate). A case is a must, but that's down to personal preference.

  • ROG 2 is way ahead OP 7T,,bigger battery,headphone jack,fm radio,better cooling system,240 hz touch sensing

  • If you are already using this phone, please write down your experience! Are there any errors? Downtime? Going out again?

  • It has 5g but not all editions, ultimate edition likely have it but in select markets.

  • 1+7T vs ROG2?

  • I can't picture myself playing games under 1.5m of water, can you? Besides, the screen will be irresponsive when submerged. I've tried this with the S9 also.

  • This beast can't dive in the water, but galaxy S9 can

  • same probs i live in qtr too

  • I think there is a 3rd party courior service which you pay Around1000 india rupees (50 aed) (search google). But i never tried it for my self. But first you need to be lucky to get this phone, its getting out of stock within fraction of second when sales begin.

  • Does it support direct video call without any apps?

  • I'm from Qatar and i want this phone. I want the indian variant for complete OTA but i don't know how i can get it since flipkart is not available internationally. Any suggestion please ?

  • this mobile is not available in market such other phones here in cyprus you cant find it in tel.companies difficult to find imagine the support....

  • I don't if it is for EU or USA Measured SAR: Head: 1.04 W/kg Body: 0.83 W/kg Simultaneous Transmission: 1.59 W/kg Wireless Router: 1.19 W/kg

  • Has anyone seen an official SAR value for this ROG Phone 2? I've tried to google for it but seems hard to find for some reason...

  • This is the God of gaming and smartphones

  • Yeah I agree that it is better than 3S for sure but the question is if it is approx worth double the price..? Yes with the 1000 dollars Rog 2 I get the 512 GB model but for me at least that much storage is most likely never needed on the go... 12 GB Ram is probably also never something I will be able to utilize... You do get the wide angle camera, bigger battery and 120 Hz refresh rate compared to 90 Hz (pretty sure 3S also has 240 Hz touch refresh rate?) but still... For my usage I feel 3S will be more than enough but at the same time I'm very much tempted to go for the Rog 2 which is available right now and I do kinda prefer the design of it as well!

  • I forgot to comment, I got mine yesterday at around 5PM. It is a monster even when compared to my Exynos Note 9. I cant complain at all, it is amazing.

  • I've received mine this morning (an hour ago actually). Setting it up from my ROG Phone, and my Galaxy S9 next to it all. This thing is a beast in every single way ever conceived!!

  • i have used it for a week till now (ROG phone II Tensent) yes it is game phone, with its top specs at the moment, it is really nice phone, i used as normal phone (not a gamer), performance very good and fast in daily usage, with monster battery, Photo in Portrait mode really amazing, even Tencent it make me surprise already, then how about world version?

  • IMO,,ROG 2 is a bit better than Nubia Red Magic 3s. it have 6000 mah battery, 240 hz touch sensing, plus that classic FM Radio

  • What part of a gaming phone you not understand? Want to take 1000 selfies a day then buy iphone 11 pro (hold on, no 5G lol)

  • Is it worth to buy this Rog 2 512 GB model which is priced just a bit over 1000 dollars in Europe (Sweden)? We only get that model here so I sadly can't go for the cheaper 8/128 GB model which for me feels like it would have been enough... Is it better to wait for Nubia Red Magic 3S that will be released globally in middle of October? I believe it will cost around 500-600 dollars here in Europe so maybe not exactly but close to half the price compared to the Rog 2! Not sure if the extra 30 Hz screen and additional storage is worth the big price difference... I'm also interested in the Nubia Z20 which I've also heard is being released globally around middle of October! Seems it will also have a really nice price point around 600, maybe 700 dollars here in Europe and I like the concept of two screens and it is just a very beautiful phone! The only thing that makes me question to go for it is the fact that everyone seems to praise the higher refresh rate phones which is why I'm tempted by both the Rog 2 and Nubia Red Magic 3S!

  • bec. this isnt a camera phone.. learn to search or watch. to enlighten your mind..

  • but you can still buy it . use internet and search it , is about 65 million rial .

  • 2019 and dont have OIS in camera lol

  • Enter the Dragon!!! I love this phone, but unfortunaitely this is not import to my country - Iran !!!

  • Wow, impressive!! I ordered mine last Tuesday. And should receive it this Tuesday... "Should". No dispatch confirmation so far...

  • I placed the order from Asus UK Store on Thursday afternoon, shipped on Friday with delivery tomorrow by DPD.

  • 'rog ui' lol

  • you can enter this youtube explanation for 5G 5G APOCALYPSE - THE EXTINCTION EVENT or this link enjoy

  • 1G is calling 2G is calling plus text message 3G is all above plus internet in limited way 4G is expand internet that we have today 5G is electromagnatic filed that use in war which can control people mind through air by changing idea, opinion and fear, sickness and you can search youtube for military 5G and you will see a lot of specialist who proof this, on the other side, you will see alot of people deny this been paid by telecom company because they will loose profit, 5G mobile phone is small killer set in your hand, in my country a lot of telecom proffrsor and specialist go on strike to stop 5G towers from installing but still it is in court phase.

  • 120Hz display man. The speaker is epic man. 1080p+ is more than enough man

  • Tencent edition doesn't have cat20

  • My friend bought it. It's good. Storage and RAM is 8GB & 128GB. U only require 6GB Max. unless u r rendering. Have FUN homie

  • jd.com Or buy from China. Very cheap. Rs.35000

  • You got the Chinese Tencent version, not the global one. As you can see, it will say "Tencent Games" on the back instead of saying "Republic of Gamers".

  • That sounds like the Chinese/Tencent version!

  • 37 k aggressive price

  • please launch an affordable smartphone with a 5.5 inch screen or below 6 inches so it is simple in handheld especially for young people now with a weter drop camera model and a dual 2 rear camera just in the middle not on the side if possible at least a Snapdragon 450 / 63x can also be used Helio version P25 / P30 if Helio P22 / P35 is not suitable for gaming. thank you

  • Anyway, I'm from Middle East and 5g is coming but most people dont care about that. Does Flipkart from india supports delivery here in Qatar ? I wanted to buy one from their official asus store since asus and flipkart have strong partnership

  • What's up with this 5g hype ? Care to explain it to me please.

  • Mate 20 X all the way if you love big screens.

  • if you are not heavy gamer and need big screen for movie and youtube get mate 20x if you heavy gamer and need phone last long for and future game, but since ROG II cheaper i suggest you get ROG

  • I buyed one from TrandingShenzhen with 8Gb Ram and 128 Gb Rom. It's that a fake or original device?

  • Basemark X 82298? R u kidding me?

  • Which phone should I buy - Mate 20 X or ROG Phone 2?? I love big screens phone and not a mobile gamer or much of a photographer. ROG Phone - 550$ Mate 20 X - 700$ in my country. 5G is not a concern since my country will not have 5G till 2021. If both were priced same, I would have gone for Mate 20 X. Also, with desktop dock, can this phone compete with consoles in game play experience??

  • That is coming in Q4 2019.

  • "This Beast well be Mine" no matter what,...

  • that's great, but 800 pounds for that edition with more storage capacity is not i wanted to buy :(

  • 4g is more than enough in most cases

  • Asus we 💪🏿 baby

  • You can pre-order of Asus official eshop now!!! Ships on October 1st. I've done mine and expected to receive on October 2nd! (I'm London also).

  • 1440p Super AMOLED panel flawlessly running at 120hz is too difficult to make.

  • only missing thing is 1440p display !

  • Does it has Wi-Fi 6 ???

  • Is there any news of the 256GB variant? Recent announcements only include 8/128, 12/512, and 12/1TB variants.

  • Can you please write here, what version will be the european? Not the chinese version, because i am thinking about buying this beast, but want fully compatible EU version. (Living in London)

  • The Mate 20x supports band 12 for T-Mobile, the Chinese rog 2 doesn't.

  • You are looking at the Chinese versions on eBay, it came out in China in late July. Indian Variant came out today, and the global version for everybody else is not available right now.

  • The phone is unique from all aspect and shows that design can also make a huge difference from all others in the market. In performance it's amazing and plenty of things to explore. Its already overkilled spec sheet, and when you put OnePlus 7 in the same question - Nothing comes close to this in Raw performance. Even you keep specs aside and look at what is actually offered by Asus at this price point is just plain insane. At 38k 8GB/128GB, Asus nailed it and bang on the competitions head. Watch out Oneplus and Mi. Hell!, it's even cheaper than Blackshark 2!!!

  • the vfm ind to usd $536 to $540

  • Its priced at 38k bro.

  • Its the VFM in India which is priced at 38k i.e., $550. May beat oneplus 7t at this price. The best VFM mobile period

  • You need to see is it tencent edition, if it is then it most probably not gonna support

  • im also about to move up from my LG v20 to a new phone but having trouble. does the phone support band 66 on the site it says yes but all the ROG 2 phones i check on ebay none of them go above band 41 i believe and none of them support band 66 so im a bit confused. is it b/c its a Global version im looking at and there will be a NA version later on that supports band 66. also i use my phone to play online how do u add band 71?

  • If the phone is priced around 40000 then its ok else will go for One plus 7t. Again if the same is priced below 35K. Above 40000 its costly as other options are available there. Mate 20 Pro also a good deal. Suggestions welcome.

  • Huawei Mate 20X an Asus Rogue phone support the same frequencies and both will work on ATT and T-mobile in the USA. My Mate 20X never experienced any problems here.

  • On asus's site, they have it as supporting band 66. Which my lg v20 TMobile version also supports. So they it's definitely going to be good on att/TMOBILE networks, probably not Verizon or Sprint. Also volte probably won't work, so I'll have to buy a separate band 71 TMobile phone for hotspot uses for playing games on PC.

  • The problem is that I'm pretty sure it won't work on Verizon. For sure att/TMobile.

  • So much for 20th September European release, no signs of it in UK. Checked Asus web store of Sweden and France and found out that they will ship on 1st October.

  • The battery endurance is monstrous! Now the high quality dual stereo speakers just sealed the deal for me.

  • Like this phone

  • They are sold in Sweden seperated from the phone and you can buy them all from our website called Webhallen.se

  • The main reason this might be my next phone. But I'm still waiting on that headphone test from gsmarena ^^ Hope asus fix whatever they need to fix asap.

  • I don't think you can. As far as i know the briefcases (with attachments) were only for the reviewers.

  • 120 Hzzzzzzz Man! and its Amoled

  • 3.5mm Jack??? Sold!!!! I can give an exception with the SD Card as I can just get either 512/1TB version.

  • Hi how can I order one with all accessories. Please can any one help me. I want with briefcase and all Accessories comes in it. Please.

  • Minimum it will cost around 65k Bro...

  • my next phone for sure

  • i hope be this phone price 40000

  • where is 360° view of rog 2 gsmA team ?

  • Be wary though, 240G is very heavy for a phone

  • Best phone ever launched. No compromise smartphone, with additional perks and features you won't find elsewhere. My dream phone.. I wish I had enough money to buy this..

  • Finally a phone with a big battery and dual sim that supports verizon and att or tmobile. And if you turn down the hz refresh rate just to 90hz or 60 hz you can get a massive savings. i actually might buy this phone. 1080p display great for battery life. quad hd is overkill in my opinion. it's great on paper and it's great to have but we can go just fine without it. and since we have 4k or 1080p content. quad hd is a waste and super battery hungry even with a big battery. And if you want good gaming fps 1080p is still the better option. it still looks great. we just want the highest quality everything when most of us don't need it. i'm happy with a 720p display. Everyone will have different opinions. I'm just gonna say im not spoiled. i'm a person that doesn't need much. except a big battery and ability to use Verizon and Att or tmobile at the same time

  • spec is good but the screen resolution is not good enough

  • What are SAR values???

  • I am planning on upgrading to this phone but there are a few downsides that are important to consider for anyone thinking about picking it up (for United States customers) 1. Cellular bands. Right now Asus doesn't have a good record with utilizing most of the common cellular bands in the United States (as seen with Asus' ZenFone). Definitely pay attention to this when the phone becomes available to purchase online. 2. The Camera. It is totally fine for most users, but if the camera is extremely important to you I would look elsewhere. I personally don't take a ton of pictures, but I know it matters to most people, your milage may vary. 3. PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE YOU BUY THIS PHONE. I would wait until Asus has links from their website before you consider purchasing one. There are too many Tencent versions of the phone from china floating around. While it has all the specs, the cellular bands supported do not match up nicely with the US. Wait for a US release

  • They managed to fit all those specs in there with a big battery AND a headphone jack?? Might consider upgrading this phone.

  • the 128GB 8GB Ram is only $600 at ebay good they reduce price to cover Zenphone 6 lost of revenue due to lack of support and a lot of issue and dead with in very short time of usage.. but still with this price will wait for feedback from users. I dont see GSM arena but the 128GB 8GB RAM in the list

  • I'll definitely spend my money on this than any other apple brands! Apple sucks btw!

  • i wouldn't say it's a "shame on you" kinda thing. 5G is still pretty niche

  • Add tencen editionss price also

  • shame on you no 5G for this great phone

  • Monster phone in the world 2019

  • The Top Specifications Phone Ever

  • How much pleas?

  • Great specs. Too bad. Waaaay too big!!!!! Cant put in pocket!

  • Super ultimate phone

  • 1080p is perfect for gaming and this is a gaming phone and you doesn't sound like one so why are you here?

  • Hey GSMArena, according to ROG's site, it has band 66. Good for people who live in the east coast on T-Mobile who are contemplating this phone in the US.

  • wait you really think that phone has a small screen?

  • Too bad it has do small screen.

  • Same, my V20 is getting 2.5 hr screen on time. This is my nexr phone with insane battery life.

  • Pretty sure they did 1080p because its a gaming phone, they need to make sure the phone can do over 120 fps on games on good graphics, and i think 1440p wouldn't have behaved well. Thats my theory.

  • Almost had me there until I saw the camera review on yt. Another year or two and I think Asus might be on top if they keep moving forward and include a good camera.

  • Me too. My LG V20 is begging for retirement..

  • possibly the resolution of the screen. 1080p? Admittedly it's 19.5:9 but still, cold of stretched to 1440

  • Can't wait for the review - all I need is to know that the headphone output is as good as LG's and I'm getting this one!

  • its alao have China firmware

  • No weakness, this phone is a complete packages..

  • Are the 256 GB version really exist?

  • ZS660KL is Tencent ver or Global ?.

  • for Tencent Games verion users, does anyone having an issue losing GPS signal when using Waze and Google Maps? thanks!

  • Where can I get this phone

  • I need an FM Radio. It's real important whenever I have no mobile data and when a power outage struck. It's there in the Tencent Version.

  • Anyone who knows what bands the Tencent version in Asia supports (lacks) compared to this global version? I checked on Kimovil and their it says it lacks the LTE Band 20 (800) which is a network that is used in my country (Sweden)... The reason I'm asking is because on AliExpress you can find the Tencent version available for delivery for pretty much half the price ($550) compared to the global version (over $1000 for me in Sweden) and in the specifications they list all same network bands that are listed for this phone here! I noticed you don't get the 30W charger with the Tencent version however so you would need to purchase that separately which oddly enough I had a hard time to find where you can buy... If the Tecent version works fine in Europe I really find it hard to justify paying almost $500 extra for 4 GB extra RAM and the additional storage...

  • i use 2 days, monster phone really ^_^

  • When it will release i cant wait to buy this monster phone

  • great phone for it's price! no bad comment so far. 3 weeks owner

  • I know literally NO ONE that lists FM radio as a must have on a phone. And up to 1tb of storage, do you really need an SD slot?

  • you do realise you can download fm radio

  • Hopefully I can get my hands on this in time for Mario Kart Tour. Those AirTriggers should give us the upper hand.

  • No SD card slot and no FM radio, so no you don't get everything, and these are necessary for a main phone. This is a gaming toy - a VERY nice gaming toy, but not worth it if I still need another device...

  • that's the case you use 120hz 90hz is like 7 to 8 60hz is near 10

  • Can't believed 6000mah only 6 hours play time .

  • This is a no-compromise phone. You get everything Better than the galaxy note 10 and Oneplus 7 pro

  • You can order it from Aliexpress

  • The International version is not yet available. The International ROG Phone 2 Elite 256GB/512GB come out sometime this month (September). The International ROG Phone 2 Ultimate 1TB edition comes out sometime October and is ASUS direct from their online store only from what I have seen online.

  • Hello people, i like this phone too much everything super cool, can someone tell me where i can buy it from internet i am from bulgaria (europe) and i want global version.

  • super perfect phone

  • ASUS IFA PRESS EVENT 2019 ... live from Berlin, Germany on 4th September 2019, 1pm (UTC+2

  • None that it matters to me. My phone was flashed to Global Rom from China Rom before being imported. So far the phone's stuck in June 2019 update. The rest of the people who has the Tencent or Original version will let you know.

  • Any downsides/con for the tencent version?

  • Hahahaha. Now go out there and buy some thick wired Audio-Technica/Sennheiser/AKG/V-Modas.

  • it's a super phone

  • Contacted Asus enquiring about system DSP (EQ) and Bluetooth - system DSP in ROG Phone2 does NOT support Bluetooth! So the system DSP in a high-end phone costing near £1000 at the back end of 2019 doesn't support Bluetooth when every crappy third-party EQ app does? I'm astonished, and it puts an end to my interest in ROG Phone 2.

  • I have the RoG Phone II Tencent Version and it does have FM Radio.

  • When i can buy in japan or amazon of japan?

  • Do tencent version support HDR10?

  • anyone knows the difference between the tencent 512 variant with the global 512 variant? does it have the same cellular band? i've done research and cant see a complete specs of the tencent 12/512 variant

  • I've ordered it..Can't wait to hold this phone

  • Tencent version sports 128GB storage with 8GB RAM, whereas the non-asia version should have 128/256/512GB storage options but with 12GB RAM.

  • I hope it has a system DSP. The plethora of third-party EQ apps are truly awful, and I would expect it to have a built-in EQ like the magnificent MaxxAudio in OPPO Find 7

  • you could buy a fm radio + tv tuner accessories.

  • Is there any info on which countries it will be released?

  • Sorry I could be wrong because I check several phones. They didn't complete the specs for BT Audio on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro which supported like HWA and LDAC. I wish reviews talk about that. Hopefully it supports LDAC because this would be the best featured phone so far. Especially combine with Fiio BTR3 because it support Aptx low latency. This is the downside of BT audio is that there are newer tech being release. You end up upgrading until every issue is fix. I have to wait for the next Walkman with BT reciever like BT 5.0 and supports many codecs.

  • no fm radio? wtf!

  • What's the diffrence between tencent version and classic version?🤔

  • maybe you can add a card slot for that rog 2 phone and extend 1tb rom.. in my opinion

  • are you shure its not support ldac?

  • To be honest if your talking person who wanted options. I use all kinds of things. Read "Note II" jack is widely available that time even Iphone 3 or 4 if I remember correctly. Don't get me wrong I still do wired once in a while like using Sony Walkman NW-A55 or Schiit Modi Multibit (USB to phone, priced at $270). I admit Bluetooth DAC during the Note II generation is horrible until I rediscover Fiio BTR3 (under $70) and later use Sony Walkman NW-A55 ($230) as a DAC through LDAC (wireless). I'll never rely on those headphones with built-in BT. I like my wired Sennheiser HD 600. Also audiophile is an expensive hobby to begin with and so far phones' DAC gotten poor in quality since Apple is only one with better DAC and they removed it. All my stuff listed is entry level stuff so you have to spend around $800+ for better audio gear. I notice my friends started buying PMPs again like the Sony Walkman NW-ZX300 ($700) or even the revived Ipod Touch. Others would replace phone's DAC with an external DACs like the AudioQuest Dragonfly. Anyway I can say NW-A55 is amazing as a bluetooth DAC or USB DAC. My friend is amaze when he compare it to the LG V20. When I get my RoG phone 2 I will use the NW-A55 as the USB DAC. Only downside with RoG phone 2 it doesn't support LDAC. I would have to use USB DAC or SBC. Fiio BTR3 can support AptX HD

  • Is this Bluetooth DAC something that the Audiophile gods would approve? Until every single bluetooth headsets are BT5.0 and has all the aptx tech for around $100, I'll still fight against the injustice for removing the headphone jack. The jack has it all while many bluetooth headsets don't have it yet.

  • For me decent camera is just enough i am not photographer on photo enthusiasit either. And for IP68 i really dont care. In present world any phone is at least splash resistant which is great enough. Any phone can sustain a bit of rain if you carry it in pockets and have a proper case on it. I carry a book case. By the way no IP protection cover your guarantee so if even an IP69k device gets water damage or dies you have to buy new one or pay expensive repair. by the way no IP resistance apart IP69k which have only 5 phones in world including newly released DOOGEE S90. Protects against any other water than plain one. No chloride, salt water, baking oil etc. And even in case of plain water its only in calm conditions. This excludes swimming or diving with your phone. To me most flagships have tons of cool awesome features which are useless for 90-95% of population due to a well known fact nobody knows how to use them properly and nobody would.

  • I get what you want to say. I paid 460 Euros for S10e. The IP68 was what sealed the deal, except a good camera.

  • There is a thing called bluetooth DAC. I use this since Note II days because I need ways to keep wired phones from breaking. I don't know why you keep thinking it's limited to wireless mainstream brands. I kept upgrading the BT DAC for better quality and protecting my wired headphones. Only disadvantage is latency. Hopefully they bring aptX LL into mainstream because games really need that.

  • Yes, that isn't official. It's grey market so there isn't any warranties but I don't give a jack coz I'll be taking risks.

  • Well Stallman can be right problem is companies doesnt care. As i said they put less and less inside the phone just to minimize the cost of construction cost to made a device but they keeping or increasing the price. First apple ditched jack, then ditched dongle which cost few penny and even earphones are separate. Look at Note 10 no jack, hapilly user which got wireles earphones inside the box but instead of 45W official samsung charger which Note 10 supports they add half as good. Soon or later 5V/2A chargers will be included in box even the phone would supports 100W/5A for example. Or only wireless charging will phones have, As we got forced to live with non removable batteries and we are forced to live without jack we soon have to live with wireless charging technology. Anything which reduces cost to make even a little but allows the company to keep or increase the price will be forced to use no matter what customers would like or preffer. This is the evolution, strongers prevail over the weaker. This is the revolution when new and usualy better tech replaces the old one and usualy worse. Such as happened in Will Smiths movie known as I Robot.

  • Cheap as a cheap. Brand new lenovo vibeshot paid 395 euros for it. in summer of 2015. Moto X4 cost me 382 euros . When i am seaqrching for a new phone 400 euros is my limit which i refuse to cross no matter what. All because anything more expensive are just flushed money in toilet because midranger does same tricks as a flagship. Can run smoothly any game, have enough disk space and ram for every app, doesnt laggs and looks like a premum device. If for example Apple XS Max ior Samsung galaxy Note 10 plus runs a game for example Clash of Lords 2 which i play from 2014 in 10 seconds and my Moto runs it in 12 seconds and after the game is running is equaly fast on any of said devices i dont see a point to buy a flgship for 3 times more price. Same goes for rest of the specs.

  • But this is not official PH-version?! what about warranty?

  • -CptPower- -AverageUser- have you ever heard about "off-topic"?! Please make your conversation, spam elsewhere!

  • He's pointing out that it's definitely wrong, the inevitable is coming and it's all thanks to the mouth-breathing gimps that praise "wireless is the future" as a positive thing. It's not, it's a huge NEGATIVE. This can only end up in a DRM-infused nightmare and CptPower is the prophet. It's a sad truth and consumers need to wise up to prevent this from happening. But I have little hope left for the less tech savvy so I'm just gonna buy this phone and live with it, or start my own company to counter this. I mean, you want a wifi-enabled coffee maker to refuse making coffee because you don't use Keurig coffee pods, don't you?

  • Absolutely correct, everything we are seeing here is being forced upon us, as interfaces are not naturally getting retired when we both get to choose and picked the better choice, just so the less preferred one disappears. This worked for CDs against cassets. This worked for USB sticks against floppy disks. This worked for digital cameras against analog ones. But this definitely isn't working for headphone jacks. Stallman is right.

  • Nice one Asus ! Still have 3.5mm audiojack...this is real gaming phone guyssss💖💖

  • That is nice to know. Well I'll try to give Samsung a shot at WG. Also, I don't know which phone to get for my mom once her S5 dies... Time will tell. But as you said there are cheap phones that will last for long. So I probably won't buy her a flagship this time.

  • Rog Phone 2 8GB/128 Tencent Edition Global & China versions are now available in the Philippines. It doesn't have Band 28 compatibility but it has B1, B3 and B5 so you're fine. Tell me everything about the Tencent version. Does it still have ROG UI (hopefully it's just as stock-like as ZenUI when it comes to consistent updates)? Is the bloat worse because of Tencent's software involvement? I heard that I can just hide the bloat. Anything because I'm planning to buy this in a week. It costs almost 32000 Philippine pesos.

  • Yes i heard that story from a friend working in Electro store for more than 10 years, Whirpool and Electrolux are crap. Have a friend which had Samsung galaxy young and phone died after 5 years of use. Its still working but problem with disk space and updates. Thus having no space for updates and you cant store apps on a memory card or cloud storage is a huge problem. Now he uses my Lenovo Vibeshot which i gave him year ago and the phone is still great. My daily driver is Motorola X4 which is also a gruesome phone worth every spent penny.

  • I have Galaxy Young which is 6 years old and still working, my mom still uses Galaxy S5 (almoust 5 years old) and my GF still has a working Galaxy S3, and right now I'm writing this on 13 years old PC. But Whirlpool and Electrolux WG (refrigerators and washing machines) seem to magically stop to work as soon as their warranty is out. We'll try with Samsung on WG next and see if it'll be same as with their phones lasting for years after their warranty has been out.

  • Well man. I have a Razer earphoners Kraken and works 5 years like a brand new. I had a mouse from this brand which lasted me like 8 years until my GF accidentaly breaks it. Now i have Razer Naga League of Legends edition for like 4 years works like a brand new. My Lenovo Vibeshot is more than a 4 years old and still working like a new one. Have Asus Laptop gaming one is 5 years old and still works. My previous one from HP lasted 6 years and died. Some brands and phones works very well some not depends on a killswitch setup

  • Well yes. I said it m,any times before. In past like 30 years ago or more were made quality devices mostly handmade. In present era your warranty goes off and your device as well. Its like those manufacturers put inside killing switch. Or a time bomb.

  • Battery life reviews about this phone are incomplete

  • 64 megapixel camera is coming this year too at Q4 , since chinese sold this in low price and the worldwide price was higher they should improve the came and put an OIS on 42mp camera, just saying.

  • Ent..its like they checked its durability and how long it would last so they would never make a lost

  • Do you think that there is any brand which always plays fair? I honestly doubt so. We all have brands that we like, but it's definitley not smart to blindly follow them.

  • If it's waterproof, the only thing lacking is AX wifi. Otherwise the best phone on the market for a while to come.

  • Does it come with everything in the pictures section or more? What?

  • Well exactly nicely said. When people are unlucky even a brand new device gets broken and after waranty goes off its llike instant. Saw that happens many times.

  • is it splash proof?

  • Can I buy it and how the way

  • When will it go on sale?!!

  • Beware that Asus have a bad service to customers. Wouldn't even take it with a tong.

  • This is a Goddamm masterpiece!!

  • I though my s9 was a beast for main stream druids.. But this! Is a Brute and I want one! 512 with 12gb.with root and unlocked

  • I also agree on this. We had our TV's and refrigerators and other stuff in house dying on us just months or weeks after warranty has been expired. There has to be something they did to make those devices die just "in time". As for phones, they do other stuff, like making software more complex and memory hungry, making batteries non removable, removing SD slot... all this is to make you upgrade more frequently or make you pay for battery replacements and such stuff. But we all know that they all just want profit. And profit is bigger if they aren't playing 100% fair. That's something that all manufacturers have in common.

  • This is what I call a beast.....

  • Looks amazing. Just need to add Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and sell a 5G version.

  • is it waterproof?

  • i need one!!! when it will be available in middle east ?

  • Will this be available in the philipines? When?

  • Yup i believe you. I really think today phones and not only phones but almost all goods are making or made just to work as long as your waranty and then unexpectedly dies just to force customer to buy new one. Sometimes and not only me but many of my customers as well have the feeling that there is some device inside their device which works like a time bomb set to a time when warranty goes off and then all sudden your phone, camera, tv, waschmmaschine, personal computer or kitchenware etc dies and ceases to working. Whats your opinion my friend???

  • I know a guy who dropped CAT 60 from third floor on construction site - it ended up with shattered screen with one black area which was slowly expanding, by the end of the day the phone was unresponsive and the whole screen was black. Old Nokia and other brick phones would handle that drop without major issues. Glass cracks and breaks, plastic does not. Plastic schratches easier tho, but on such small screens with so low resolution - it made no difference. If you ever go to music festivals, just buy a 100-150 Euro brick phone like Nokia for that purpose and you are golden, believe me on this one.

  • When well.this be available to buy in Canada ?

  • So the left stick is wireless?

  • When well.this be available to buy in Canada ?

  • Yup. And now tell me something about quality. Nokia 3310 of the old times should and could speak literary the unbelievable stories about her durability compared to our present most expensive devices from Samsung Sony Huawei Apple lines with price tag of 700+. Known a sotry where this old nokia dropped from a building under construction from height of 20th floor just let with damaged speaker which was sometimes working and sometimes dont the whole phone got just few bruises but no big damage apart the speaker. Would like to see even the most durable phones of today like CAT S61 or SonimXP8 or Doogee S90 one of 5 phones on earth with IP69k to survive this much with almost no damage. Just not possible,

  • Yeah. Sometimes devices survive really hard drops by some miracle, and sometimes even slightest drop shatters them or renders them useless. It all comes dowb to your luck I guess...

  • Global release??

  • hi there ... can anyone please tell me when would this phone be available in uk??? if possible can anybody post any link to order...thanks..

  • where can i buy it online in china??

  • A very fantastic phone with great features, how can i get it in Kenya and at how much ?(,1 us dollar is equivalent to 100 Kenya shillings)

  • Well thats kind of very unlucky accident. Saw many or heard many of them and some are funny. Like having in my store a customer few years ago with Sony Z3 the waterproof phone who did just 2 shots in a childs blowing pool to take an underwater picture of his at that time 2-4 years old kids and the phone died. Now say something about waterproofing. As long as its not covered by your waranty is completely useless. Also had here a customer with Iphone XS Max which dropped on concrete by accident from height like 20 - 30 centimeters not more and the screen died.

  • I feel your pain... my S8 slipped out of my pocket while I was doing my shoelaces, it bounced on a rock and fell down the cliff... accidents happen sometimes.

  • The stock is pretty limited in the Philippines. But you can buy them online via shopee. Winmishop is one of the recommended stores. This is the link. Or you can visit Xundd Philippines at 670 Kalaw Ave, Ermita, Manila, 1000 Metro Manila. They have China Units though but it is cheaper than waiting for the official global version.

  • Heh never heard of that. But my self long time ago drowned Y5 first of the series huawei phone in a toilet. It was an accident i asleep with my phone in my pyjama pocket and i woke up 3am morning and went toilet and sit. And the phone slip from pockets to toilet and immediately died.

  • Wow, and here I am thinking that my 278 contacts was a lot hahaha. There is thousands of people out there, so it's no wonder some of them will have either something bizzare on their phone or bizzare ammount of something. But it's always fun to hear those stories. Like stories about some users who killed their phones by water damage after downloading IP68 app hahaha

  • Can any one tell whether this device come with auto call recorder?

  • Well thats interesting. I had a customer in my phone shop with 7684 numbers and names in contact list. Thats huge overkill. The runner up had close to 3000. I have around 950 which is also nasty.

  • I tend to "clean" my phone often, so there's nothing really unwanted on my backup. I'm still impressed by some people taking up over 100GB of memory. My GF has around 140GB of selfies and videos on her SD card... talk about an overkill...

  • Well me too. I am also no terrorist or criminal. But i didnt get everything backed too much GB it will takes thus why. And selecting from what i want or not it will take a lot ammount of time which i just dont have.

  • Hopefully Asus will release a non-gaming version with a nice body, rather than the gamer aesthetic of the ROG phone.

  • When will be lunch in Philippines??? Please somebody tell me.. i'm eager to buy this!!!

  • in the end of this month

  • Will this be available on AT&T Network in USA??

  • Is it confirmed that they will only launch the big model with 512 GB storage and 12 GB RAM on the global market and that it will be around the $900 pricepoint? I wish they would consider offering the lower model that China has right now with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM at a lower price point...

  • this is amazing!!!!!!! love it!!!

  • Can someone tell When Will it release in India and pricing?

  • I know. If you want something to stay secret - keep ot away from the internet. Simple as that.

  • Well it already got stolen by Google and Samsung in your case. All the best.

  • Good Phone but I didn't see the 5G Ready.

  • I pretty much backup everything. My pics are on Google Photos. Contacts and documents on Googe Drive (some are on OneDrive too). And phone settings and rest of it is on Samsung account. Whoever wants to steal my data can do so through my phone even if it's only on my SD card. Plus, I got nothing to hide, I'm not a terrorist or a criminal.

  • Well yes possibility for this is small but exist. But still chance is a lot smaller than when your SD Card is being damaged. If you arent lucky just one drop of your phone and your sd card can get broken. I give up over the pictures but at least my contacts list is stored via Gmail. If anythng happens.

  • True, and you're also screwed if you're somewhere without internet access... like in rural area...

  • Well yes but even that would and should be problem. Even for cloud storage data must been saved somewhere on some device. Sone any electric or magnetic discharge for example from sun could and should damage cloud storage and you have no warranty for data stored there.

  • True. With time, we will replace our old ways with something new and better. People will argue about agencies monitoring their cloud data, but it's not like they can't get to your SD card data trough your phone. Free internet and unlimited cloud storage would definitley be awesome to have.

  • Well yes. I can guarantee its just a puure prediction but in close future the internet will be free for all as the cloud storage or at least some portion of it. With a touch phone noone should have problems to use its own cloud storage. And with cloud storage you wont loose any data if your memory card gets broken because with cloud storage no memory card will be needed.

  • I agree with this one. And unfortunatley SD slot is next one to go...

  • My friend i am just a bussiness man. I sell what others make. I am not making anything. Theses companies wont care about what customers want but whats makes more money for less price. Wireless makes more money for a less price to make and less materials to be used. I am sorry it wasnt my decision i only agree with it. For those who understands this new trend they know what to expect and for the rest i am sorry but i cant help. As i said above we are just company which sells what siomeone else maked. We not creating technology we only sell it. And the price compared to cost of production is the only and all that matters. For this blame fenician people who brought us money and divided people into ich and poor and created the sin known as greed for money. Peace all.

  • Using the truthseeker orb or truesight as a far seer i can tell you 2025 up to 2030 will be beggining of the time when jack will be completely removed for the touch phones.

  • This will be the best phone of all of 2019. Nothing comes close to this, make my words

  • Hey shill. What if the customer wants to buy a quality wired headphones that cost just as much as wireless but 200% better in every way. Everybody became audiophiles when Beats was exposed to be a $40 headphone disguised as $300. Everybody is into AKG/Sennheiser/Beyerdynamic/Audio-Technica/V-Moda/Meze. No Bose, no Sony either. Screw your kind of capitalism, it's wrong.

  • I bet it will have poor battery life just like Zen 6 and rog 1. They need to optimize the UI or just Vanila android

  • I am just interested in how much more time will it take for budget phones to lose the jack.

  • Only and just for now. Next year dont expect jack on any flagship phone by Samsung and in next few year nor even midrangers but basic phones wont have it. Just to make more money and reduce costs to make a device. Maybe the jack is not costly but every little helps same goes for space in phone for something else or just make it thinner.

  • This is excellent comment. Wireless is the future, same as how they made batteries non removable. They basically forced it upon us. Why? - to make more money. Samsung played it smart though. Keeping the jack for long to have sales based on customers which find it as "must have" and then launching their first flagship not to have headphone jack alongside the S10 series which does have. So part of customers will probably buy S10+ instead of Note 10 that way. But they will still buy a Samsung phone. Also notice that Samsung won't include 45W charger in Note10 box, but will sell it separatley. And will also include a dongle in the box, like Apple used to do...

  • Wireless has yet to beat Wired. Does the company you work at use wired fiber optics or a wireless satellite internet connection? Unless ofc if its way out in the mountains then you can only go wireless. The tech used to lessen interference in wireless connections is replaced with tech for better sound quality in wired earphones. IMO wireless will never beat wired in quality and security, it only wins in convenience and flexibility.

  • You are a shop owner. You would prioritize your money over convenience. You make more when someone buys a wireless earphone. And you know that he/she would come back sooner than the one who has wired. The smile is bigger, right? You won't agree though, i guess. So when money comes into action, only few calls a spade a spade. the only truth you said that future lies in wireless. I agree with that. But it hasn't been voluntarily, rather forced upon. in addition to that, i don't wanna live in those EM waves. i know its kinda inevitable now a days but obviously i shouldn't increase the risk. Right? Man rest you said is mostly truth but fact is and i said it before wireless is the future. People were forced to live with not removable batteries in their cell phones. Same goes for headphone jack and many else. This future you dont like comming faster than you think. Look at Samsung. Note 10 no jack S10 have jack but wireless earbuds inside. So next year probbably there will be no jack and you all would be happy if they include earphones. Theses companies are like Xiaomi and their K20 pro or Pocophone. Reducing what they can but keeping or increasing the price.

  • You can argue here as long as you want. You can copy mine too but that doesn't change the fact that wireless has still long way to go to catch wired. I have wireless and wired both. One is Sennheiser and the other is bose . And hands down wired wins. Man in some rare cases wired beats wireless but as you may be aware of manufacturers wont listen and they erasing phone jack. So wired will go to history sooner than you think. Like removable batteries and many else.

  • and having a half terabyte storage what a nice control

  • Oh you can fabricate and manufacture phones ?

  • if I am gonna make a phone I gonna make it exacly like rumored note 10 but with a no edge n no notch.

  • but it looks like the controller have its own battery?

  • Does anyone know if it's Ip68 certificated or not?

  • They giving us secondary usb c on the side, even if you plug it for that active fan acc, the fan also have usb c port.

  • You can argue here as long as you want. You can copy mine too but that doesn't change the fact that wireless has still long way to go to catch wired. I have wireless and wired both. Right?

  • It has two USB-C ports so you can charge it while also using accessories.

  • Bro you don't need SD slot cause most of the games can't run on it cause of latency. SD is just for photographs and videos a good pick. SD cards are a waste.

  • Yes sure. Me too

  • you cannot charging while gaming with the controller like the previous one?

  • Crazy high price for a Asus...

  • Best phone for Minecraft and Roblox pocket edition

  • No . It doesn't Just a dual 4g sims

  • indeed bro true same hre im looking for badass spec with SD Slot...i rather go for the phone with sd slot than to have 3.5 jack...i got two option rog 2 or black shark 2 pro unfortunately they don't have sd lot so i guess ill just wait for the phone with badass specs and got sd slot and 3.5 jck or jst sd card is fine without 3.5 jck

  • Anyone know this asus rog phone 2 can support 5G or not?

  • "a gaming phone is a console with some phone features" clearly not, especially this is not that case; "a phone that allows you to play games better" that is it and thats why this works with those special gaming accessories better.

  • It work faster without extra card

  • Is it so hard to add a microsd ???? Really Or like apple other brands are deciding what's good for users? I don't care about how many space i have in my phone i need microsd option because i need a secure memory for my documents Maybe you would say cloud is an option like Google drive , yes but i don't want to be forced and pay monthly

  • Ugh, I wish I had a phone like this

  • companies really should rethink about their gaming phones im not saying i don't love this phone its the best but i think a gaming phone is a console with some phone features not a phone that allows you to play games better who needs three cameras one a console anyway? if companies start removing these things there will be zome masterpieces that deserve (gaming phone) name

  • "What others buy is their decision" Getting a pair of wired headphones and a phone with jack are someone decisions, something you like to troll and criticize to the fullest \(o_O)"/ smh you need a second wife or something Pd. At these point everyone knows you sell cheap phones. Bring something new to the chat.

  • All i ask for is a smart phone with IR blaster, FM radio, micro sd slot, usb to go, headphoned jacked, battery that lasts a 24 hours, transparent aluminum construction, Iridium capable, upgradable cores, is that to much to ask for? wait there's more.

  • Man here in my country in Slovakia in central europe where average salary is 600 euros per month from which half goes to bills like water gas electricity rent phone bill etc most people asking in my store for a really cheap earphones. When i tell them theses cost 9,90 euros most of them reply have you only these expensive? Anything cheaper for 2 euros or up to 5? On any given day wireless ones beats wired. JUST LIVE WITH IT. Wireless surpased wired ones long time ago. And in next 5 years the phones will be completely wireless. Earphones, charging etc. No moore cables. Just live with it you have no choice anyway.

  • Man i use razer exceptional quality and what i bought was my decision. I like quality brands and i have a tons of good experience with razer. What others buy is their decision. I am very satisfied with mine razer earphones. I believe Sennheiser/Bayerdynamic/AKG/bose/audiotechnica. theses are good but i am satisfied with mine bought with 70% discount i was very lucky. Have them like 5-6 years and they are still as a brand new.

  • i still don't think that a gaming phone does make that much sense right now but they might be the future of handheld gaming devices. for example, like many others, I am no mobile gamer but the asus ROG II interests me. It has everything I would want in a phone. a powerful processor, good display, big battery, headphone jack, sturdy build, fancy RGB lighting. Its a little bigger and bulkier but in this market, I couldn't find a phone that has everything. this phone comes close.

  • Most people use 5 cents wired headphones? I dont know where you see those but the people around me use pretty good ones. and the most interesting part is that these 5 cents earphones would still sound better than 15/20 bucks bluetooth earphones. on any given day wired ones beats wireless. JUST LIVE WITH IT:

  • Relax. Chill out

  • the screen has rounded corners, so it's a useless device, specially for gaming and multimedia use.

  • It is heavy because of the huuuuge battery, rog and xperia are not targeting the same user base. If you want to buy xperia 1 fine, nobody is forcing you to buy the rog 2, dont be so upset, chill out :D

  • And those who own headsets from those brands are gaming on gaming PCs not Smartphones :D

  • Yeah keep trashing, people said that too when 18:9 was first introduced. Now phone maker even make it more longer 19.5:9, 19.9:9, soon 21:9 will be a thing. Even when 5" was considered too big years ago, nowadays 5" is a compact small phone and its hard to find. People changed.

  • when did best dual speakers beat good quality headphones? only people who never plays in an open field and play games at their mother's basement uses razer headphone for music. no audio listener use razer headphones for listening to music. they use Sennheiser/Bayerdynamic/AKG/bose/audiotechnica.

  • most probably not. because, to achieve better cooling, some places/vents had to be kept open. I didnt read everything about it, afaik its not waterproof.

  • if you want security update buy a pixel.

  • Xperia one it's trash with a overpraised camera, dumb narrow aspect ratio, overheating issues and a lame battery life. Thank u, next.

  • And other smaller channels did the same and their units died. Don't believe everything you see online until it's an one shot video.

  • No,one plus 7 pro is not a better "phone". Rog 2 is the best phone out there. It has better specs, simple as that. Almost anything that the 1+7 pro can do,it can do better. Better processor, better display, better battery. They can compete in camera though, and design aesthetic maybe.

  • Much bigger than Xperia 1 and no one complaining on the size. heavier than Xperia 1 and everyone is silent about it. It's pricey and again no complain??? Are you guys serious? I'll have Xperia 1, because it's nicer and more comfortable than this one. I mean this phone is nice, but for 2 hands only

  • It doesn't need to have an official IP rating, look at the OnePlus 7 pro, it didn't have an official IP rating, but people did tests and it had some kind of waterproofing

  • haha super

  • I'd say the OnePlus 7 Pro is still a better "phone". This is much more gaming-focused. If you use your phone to play games more than like 66.66% of the time, then it makes sense, especially with the accessory choice. Otherwise, I'd pick (and I have picked) the 7 Pro. It's more of a phone, plus water resistance and it's a little more ergonomic, and cheaper. Completely different price range. Thanks for reading :)

  • Amazing specs... Im confused now with oneplus 7 pro or rog phone 2.but my concern is the security update, do asus update monthly and yearly updating the Android version? For those who owned rog phone 1 any comments..

  • actually some people wanted to swim with it

  • some people wanted to game while taking a bath

  • If you were a billionaire, you wouldn't care less to buy this because if it gets broken, then you can just replace it with another one. You're a billionaire!

  • IP ratings are very expensive. They can cost 10-30$ of a smartphone depending on the manufacturing cost of the phone. If they did the IP rating test, the phone would probably cost much more.

  • Why would you want an IP rating on a gaming phone? You don't swim with it, you game on it!

  • Is it even possible for the phone to be water resistant

  • I am really disappointed that they did not include with the ip rating at this price range. I don't mind if they didn't add micro sd slot but without a ip rating seems more like a rip off to me

  • Ip certificate n i am complete.. Hope thats not the actual spec sheet.

  • God damn, this phone is a beast!!

  • Ever think about dolphin emulator I got good results on full hd gaming in the settings with my Nubia Red Magic 3 🤪

  • We're not in 2013

  • Instead of spending 350$ on a headset that has low latency and wireless , a good set for less than a 150$ or maybe less thah a 100$ for a wired one. and buy the 512gb version instead of thr 256gb version , lol.

  • Yes that's much

  • All i ask for is a smart phone with IR blaster, FM radio, micro sd slot, usb to go, headphoned jacked, battery that lasts a 24 hours, transparent aluminum construction, Iridium capable, upgradable cores, is that to much to ask for? wait there's more.

  • When a device costs that much, it would be in everyone's right to complain about features like an IP rating and a microSD slot cut off for seemingly no reason.

  • the size and hight have to upgrade the camera have to optical zoom

  • Are you going to play Games underwater? What's the whole hassle about this IP Rating and no Micro SD Card slot. This is not a classical smartphone, but a gaming one. Clearly has to have some cuts. Is your gaming PC waterproof?? No. Then what?

  • 500GB is too low for you? What are you going to store lmao. 4k prn?

  • Wow the sheer specs would make this a great phone except for the lack of updates on software. Looking at there previous rog phone lack of updates killed that phone. What point high spec phone with lack of updates.

  • iPhones lack headphone jacks, I think people can do with a gaming phone without water protection xD

  • only a pity it doesn't have a micro sd card slot to extend the capacity…. why Asus?????

  • nothing wrong about phone specification, you are the mistake, most of gaming phones don't have ip rating/water resistance, cauze its will be usefull to keep phone temperature cold while playing game hours

  • every each year now phone comeing+higher spec but no phone can long lasting more than 1 day with browsing with internet non stop...all kind of phone only can survive 4~5 hours only!...still waiting similar phone like energizer p18k

  • I can't wait to purchase this next month in the Philippines. We have like 10 ROG stores in NCR alone. I often see them in malls so it's likely to be there more than the Zenfone 6.

  • I don't know if you're trolling or you got mental conditions in your head. I can't be sorry for you man. You're going to be obnoxious to people in the building and the train to use dual speakers out loud with your phone. If you want everybody's peace, use a headphone jack so not only, only you can hear it but you'll be spoiled with the highest quality sounds possible if you buy Sennheiser/Beyerdynamic/Audio Technica/AKG/V-Moda/Meze and etc. Seriously, if I were you, I would've ended this trolling in a week. It's too cringy for you. Just stop cringing.

  • No man i have proffesional gaming headphones known az Razer Kraken and they are wireless. Awesome dual speakers outbeats jack by a huge difference. Jack has beenn long time surpased by a lot better vireless audio because cables were always obsolette. Like soon we will have only wireless charging options but no wired one.

  • Thats why it's called ROG phone duh.

  • Jack, no notch nor punch-hole, AMOLED, big battery, powerful : everything I want. But ... no IP rating ? I certainly hope it's a mistake on the page.

  • if it they sell it with gaming pad bundles it's gonna be amazing unless the pads will be hard to find . they should sell them as bundles

  • You know I kinda feel bad for you hating on the headphone jack and sorry for your loss of thinking Phone Speakers are better than jacks. I bet you're the kind of person who uses USB-C headphones

  • Hi there, I use the ROG phone 1 and can say its unbelievable good, super fast amazing graphic (for a phone), incredible camera. The face and finger recognition has never failed me, even with glasses, the air triggers make gaming on a phone an all-new experience and the speaker are rather loud. Would strongly recommend it as a phone and would love to own the second model.

  • Speak for yourself, you don't like it then do not use it. But you can't say that most of the people use cheap headphone and even they are using it then what's the problem here? They are using it as the ways they can or they want? Are they forcing you to do it? These phones are targeted to the huge userbase, so it has to have the features that everybody can rely upon.

  • Poor for me??? Why??? I like music nice and loud i dont use any stupid obsolette jack which kills any good music phone can output from its awesome dual speakers.

  • Poor you

  • - Huge battery - Great display - Great camera - Dual front-facing speakers - 3.5mm audio jack What more can I ask? But I think this phone is too gaming-centric for me. There are less good quality Android games right now that are graphics-intensive. I'm not really a mobile gamer and most of the tons of features here I would not use. But the pure look of it (no notch, great display, dual front speakers) is why I'm very interested in this phone.

  • I don't know why you would be against a phone with a jack because I think it's better to have it than none. Headphone jacks are great especially for a phone like this most "gamers" would use headphone jacks for their gaming headset of other high end headphones. Bluetooth is great and all but its not the best on audio and it has some delays as a rhythm player I do notice that. I doubt that there would be people who would use cents of headset for a high-end phone like this.

  • I am not a big fan of rog. But can someone an share some opinion if they have used rog phone 1 before

  • Don't bother. He gets bothered by other people using "5 cent headphones" for music so he'd rather the jack be killed so that nobody will listen to music with cheap headphones again...he also wants to screw the people that bought $250 amazing quality wired headphones so you'll never convince him.

  • Says who? I don't understand where everyone gets that. I'm using the LG V20 with a microSD card and it's perfectly snappy and quick. We use microSD cards, again, because we've already loaded breast quality movies and music onto it so it makes life easier to just pop in the card onto our new phone and seconds later, it's all there. Better than waiting while the phone is plugged into a computer or using a cloud.

  • I think this is not 5G capable, am i right? Phone is great though.

  • with battery 6k mah + 120hz u just only play mobile legend?... pls dont make joke hahahah

  • Note killed 2019!

  • I think aside from gaming, he will use it for filming pornography, and I understand that 512GB isn't enough. lol

  • Are you gonna use this phone for recording many many many many many many many many pornography ? because if so, I agree with you, 512GB is not enough :D lmao

  • correct bruh...u are my mannn! "THUMBS UP"

  • You are totally wrong! Starting with "improveD cooling system" only shows, that you know not much about tech, smartphones. Most of the favorised regular flagships have time-limitations in 4K video recording according heating issues ... more power, quicker storage also welcomed for processing at shooting ... and so on. It is nice to see lot of experts here, they think to know more about tech, than a devicated engineer-team at OEM-s lol

  • Qi wireless charging is missing... it's a pitty.

  • Am a samsung fan but these specification is insane Asus is trying really hard I hope this device go global way to go Asus keep pushing hard.

  • Most people will use 5 cents wired headphones or earplugs bought at alliexpress or wish site. Thus why. Jack is as always complete useless and burden to any phone especialy the flagship grade.

  • you will go 4 k20pro bro

  • Dude 256 and 512 gigs of storage, what's the need of micro sd?

  • Everything is made in china, either good or bad

  • For a Pro gaming phone , It's no need a SD card slot . It's just will make the phone getting slow .

  • I cannot understand why this phone is being released. it doesn't even do 5G. Considering it will not get to market until August 2019 and 5G networks are popping up all over the world, why doesn't it have the x50 modem to give the extra 5G. I thought this was supposed to be a flagship phone. Sure the rest of the phone is super fast, but the network is letting it down

  • Agree, for that price point, they should have considered making a slot for SD card.

  • Is this a Samsung panel?

  • The phone comes with 256GB of memory base, what the hell are you using your phone for that requires more than that?

  • samsung amoled ?

  • It has 256GB storage, there's no need for a SD card.

  • shut up... u just overacting ... they already give 256gb for the smallest capacity ... still not enough for u ? then go for 512 ... still not enough ? then dont buy it ....

  • No micro SD Card !!!!!!!! I will not purchase this under any circumstances Shame on you Asus

  • Considering that the phone your talking about is full of Chinese malware, poor specs, poor cameras and won't ever get updates, it pales in comparison to the ROG Phone 2

  • Did you even look at the specs? Like dude it literally has a 6000 mAh battery

  • U should play Pubg mobile,Fortnite mobile,GTA San Andreas mobile

  • how did "jack just killed the good music." enlighten me

  • Monster !

  • ASUS really heavily modified this phone for gaming purpose. when you're not some gaming enthusiasm u can't feel most of it advantage from the other flagship. Like -improve cooling system for stability performance(flagship phone rarely lagging except for heavy usage on its processor for long duration because of the heat) -faster storage with ufs 3.0(difference on opening speed on small apps size will be insignificant with ufs 2.1) -reduce on touch latency(except u playing action based game u will not notice it and dont care about it) And more other feature like 120 Hz screen, refresh rate, perfomance setting on processor. Hi res Speaker, etc

  • Poor battery??

  • Poor battery? This is bigger than most

  • poor battery , no micro sd - no buy

  • Specs are good but even a Oukitel K10 for 200 have a lot bigger battery. And they should get rid of jack. Like razer phones offers best speakers any cell phone ever had any great quality souund will be killed here by cheap 5 cents wired earplugs because of an completely useless and obsollette feature like is headphone jack. Fun-fact: Sony XZ2 premium have same veight and dont have even a 50% of a features of this phone but the price is practicaly the same.

  • XZ2 premium have same veight and much less features for a same price at that time.

  • Razer have huge battery and a lot better speakers which produce lot better sound which is not killed by stupid headphone jack and cheap 5 cents earphones used with a 800 euros gaming phone.

  • headphone jack is waste as always a phone of this quality should expell all the music from front facing speakers jack just killed the good music. Rest of the specs are just insane. Pricing in china is insane as well but i bet european version will cost much over 1000.

  • Samsung Note 10 $1000: 3400mah 25 watt charging Single down firing speaker 1080p 60z display Sd 855 No headphone jack No sd card Asus Rog 2 phone $1000: 6000mah 25 watt charging 2 usb cs Front firing stereo speakers 1080p 120hz Sd 855+ 2 headphone jacks No sd card The notes are what's DOA. The Rog is a great phone

  • 256/512gb rom,,,,,, why you need external memory card slot? its awesome...............

  • Dude,it obtains 512GB space, bloody hell enough to use. My 256 Gig iPad Pro still got 100+ Gig left after download loads of stuffs.

  • ppsspp and dolphin. i dreamed about this technology about 15 years ago. its real now

  • its actually 800 euros, not 900

  • 120hz for screen ... how was the battery life span?...3 hours with 6k mah??

  • 900 Euros yet no SD card slot for backup? DOA.

  • It's not Samsung. It's R.O.G!

  • ROG 2 phone just launched at China, price as below, 8GB+128GB = RMB3499 12GBGB+512GB = RMB5999

  • I hope they would relase games like gta V or other like god of war

  • Pleasure sensor (lenny face)

  • I'd rather have a revolutionary 120 mhz refresh AMOLED screen that is first seen in the industry than some Tablet with SD 855.But then again your level of education is only capped to screen size than quality and fluidity and battery size which can be easily compensated with a battery bank cover (also 4-6k mah)

  • u buy this just for play clash of clan?????...are u serius???????...better i buy energizer p18k can lasting 1month plus rather just play game only for 3 hour...hahahah

  • and what you expect with that gaming phone . . android games are not that good LOL

  • what are you wish to play in that phon . . pubg, mobile legend?? LOL . . . I prefer to buy Nintendo Switch if the main purpose are gaming 🤣🤣🤣

  • I wait till it exploded lol

  • its gaming phone what you expect? 4 camera? haha

  • GPU can't play games in that High Resolution

  • This phone is a Beast we consumers who care about products should appreciate Asus for being soo innovative The have pushed all the limits Hope we share info about this phone make other manufacturers also aware we need these things in a phone

  • This battery is not much as promising because of 240hz display & overclock 855cpu. This may be equal as 3400/3500mah.

  • Your username says otherwise.

  • No waterproof

  • 1core 3.0hz _ jesuss!!

  • By far the best gaming phone, specs wise everything is there except sdcard slot, but as a gamer, don't need memory expansion, game data will be saved in Google Play.

  • So I had an "ideal" smartphone in my head, and I thought the Red Magic 3 met that requirement... but this phone beats all of it, in all categories (at a higher price as expected). The ideal features for me are: - Large battery, check - Nice big screen, check - Latest Specs, check, - above 60hz screen, double check, - Front facing speaker, YES! Check It may not look as cool with the chin and forehead, but in practicality, it looks amazing. Might sell my Pixel 3 XL to get this bad boy. Only real loss I will get is camera quality which I dont use that often anyways.

  • Eh, I wouldn't consider the amount of cameras as the prerequisite for being "outdate". Majority of people in the tech world (reviewers, entusiasts etc) would agree that the Pixel 3 lineup has the best camera in a phone, and that is only a single camera setup. Albeit, these cameras are probably average, but this phone was not aimed at a market focuses on the the camera quality.

  • What?? Are you going to play Games underwater???

  • than buy a Nokia 9 and will have lots of cameras lol

  • You are not fast are you?

  • 900 EUR without IP68?!

  • I take the battery, the rest i dont care at all.

  • An amazing smartphone but Dual camera set up is already outdated for 2019 high end smartphone.

  • Pressure sensor???

  • If you are not gonna buy it or at least try it out, then don't judge it. It is as simple as that and also by that you give other people a favour.

  • Why are you the way you are? Why must you insult people for their OPINIONS? Just answer that and I am done

  • I said flagship not mid-range also I hope a mod deletes all of both mine and your comments since this is just dumb and the fact that you believe you are the smartest person in the world proves just how stupid this is either way I'm not responding to your ridiculous comments anymore since you are being ridiculous and won't understand that gaming phones are pretty redundant in the first place since flagship models exist and they only add arbitrary features

  • Bullshit and non-sense. You know nothing about phone gaming. You haven't tried SGL game Try SGL game and set the graphics to Ultra High and FPS to 60 then come and dare to say this nonsense. P.S: SGL = Shadowgun Legends if you are ignorant of it.

  • I saw a video on yt from another well-known reviewer and unfortunately, it looked like the cameras are not what one would expect in this price range. The thing is with the extra buttons and swipe/squeeze functionality, it would jave been an HTC-beater, but then the image quality is trash. They almost had me.

  • Because mobile phone gamers are not real gamers. They don't understand the real meaning of gaming. They just game to waste their time.

  • You know nothing about me and the fact you think I am not tech savvy? I'm just a careful shopper that wants a good phone that isn't overpriced and doesn't go crazy with specs for a phone when non gaming flagship phones play all games at a very good performance in the first place

  • Then you are just a normal person. You are not tech enthusiast.

  • Agreed, my experience with Asus customer service with any of their products was very bad.

  • Even if I was billionaire I wouldn't buy this and a part of reason is because Asus terrible support plus put that money towards a decent computer instead

  • You are correct

  • Because gaming on the go is way more satisfying than being trapped in the same spot every time you wanna play a game.

  • Please compare it with flagships and tell me why it should cost less than they do

  • juicy battery

  • 6.6" 18:9 1440p would have been great, and of course a telephoto lens is a MUST

  • So?

  • I doubt anyone's actually using this as a PC replacement. I have the original ROG phone, a gaming desktop I built & an Asus Stryx Scar II laptop, they all have their place.

  • Idk I guess some people like to game anywhere and everywhere

  • Phone is too big... this is unacceptable for most people. It's comparable to a Nintendo Switch in size, but the Nintendo Switch actually has good games for gamers unlike Android. Other than that the specs are obviously insane.

  • what if you already have a gaming pc?

  • This is the best phone I have ever seen or heard of. Thinking to buy this beast and selling my S10+. I am gamer and this is the next best step towards gaming in the smartphone era. Asus makes awesome gaming friendly stuff. I have the Omen X desktop PC, OMEN X 2S Laptop and the Omen 32 inch display. This will add to my set of gaming companions.

  • If you break it then say good bye to it cause rog customer service sucks especially on my country.

  • Idk why people waste their money on this when they can actually buy/build a decent gaming pc for that price

  • cmon bruh this is Asus

  • That's Asus' ROG lineup for you, expensive AF.

  • Excellent Phone, Price is higher than average, cannot tell until benchmark goes out if this is will be the fastest performance mobile phone for gaming in the world wait for Antutu and full review and jerry reg everything then will see

  • because its the first SmartPhone with 6000 mAh and SD 855 * Plus* and 120HZ Amoled Display and of course the ROG Series are more expensive because of its package and brand etc ... at least its worth 900$ not like the S10+ or the iPhone XS MAX with + 1000$

  • 171mm long size is it tree?

  • Exactly!

  • did you even check the specs?

  • bad UI = GG also. ZENUI not really that power efficient nor good against handling multi-functions. Expect battery to drain like water...

  • ROG is partially Taiwan and Singapore collaboration venture company. Basically stuffs are not bad but quite pricey. TBH, phone gaming will go down sooner or later cos of the way games are being handled now by developers and this phone makes lesser sense for it. For this price, i'd rather save a lil more for the better laptop.

  • But look at the insane specs.

  • The black shark has a bas camera and the Nubia makes sense but you don't get the camera quality or 120hz oled or a 6000 mAh battery. The overall package of this phone would make it the best phone of 2019 if it lives up to what it promises.

  • But in sell u will see Asus taking the lead Chine brand will Always bé feared by some no sorry by Many people spying or anything else If u see rog P VS THE NUBIA and Xiaomi and razer even gsmarena stated that These IS a true gaming one other doesnt give that impression NUBIA IS great but its software and lack of reliable update killed it Xiaomi have a Bad "gaming frimeware " and Bad thermal paste

  • holy fk 240g????? LOL..............

  • Too expensive but complete as gaming smartphone. If only 650€ this will sell very fast. :) I only play Mobile Legend

  • Its 900 Euro but I believe its accessories will reach 400 euro or more. a great phone from a great brand. if I have this phone, im gonna play clash of clans, candy crush, Battle bay, flipping legend, and Dragon nest mobile only, lmao :D

  • EUR900 not make sense, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is EUR450 and Nubia Red Magic 3 is EUR500. Too pricey

  • Finally, a gaming phone that comes with a headphone jack and huge battery. I hope other companies like Razer will realize that.

  • Cool

  • Nothing to say Everything is "MIND BLOWING" Excellent!!! this gaming phone can beat the all records of smartphone world I Love it and i want to buy this# AMAZING You can see its craziest things in its #HANDS ON REVIEW #BrilliantPhone

  • Wooooosh, the specs on this device are INSANE!!! Too good to be true. And, Imo this is officially the best gaming smartphone. Everything you need in one place. Yeah it doesn't have expandable storage but 256GB+ is still a lot. Not even talking about 512GB. And yeah, no stock Android, but that doesn't really matter. ZenUI isn't the worst software, yet nor the best but still just look at those specs. 120HZ OLED, 12GB RAM, 6,000mAh Battery, Dual Front Facing Stereo Speakers, and A HEADPHONE JACK!!. Truly a great gaming phone. Good job Asus, I salute you.

  • These phone IS just ... Crazy Lets wait Jerry to deal with it then u are mine

  • 240 gram too heavy.
