Asus Zenpad 10 Z300C - User Reviews

  • Septembre 2019, still using it!!!! On off the best specs/price/quality I Have. All my softs android are running without problem Even on my bike I use it as dashboard, and gps multimedia screen !!!!

  • I use Messenger and FB on it without pb Model Zenpad 10 Z300C P00C

  • Yess, no problem !

  • I like the larger display though I don't understand why you can't use the well known messenger on here so I have to resort to my phone for any messages received which is really irritating also can't figure out where the memory card slot is if there is one

  • I bought it used for reading e-books on it for $50. However, occasionally I used it to browse the web, but the not so subtle lag bothered me. It was a good toy for the kids though. Yesterday though, my five year old daughter dropped it onto the stone floor in the bathroom and the screen broke. It was really hard to hide my happiness as I now had an excuse to buy a new one. :-D It won't be an Asus though.

  • What about video support? Is it possible to watch movies or youtube video on 720p and on 1080p? Is it slow, any lags, cracks? Thanks in advance

  • Totally disagree, with the above comments. My tablet has been a excellent buy & performer from the first day. Battery excellent, repose quick, and it's feels and looks great for£110 this must be one of the best tablets in its range. Did I mention they regularly update Android .

  • Its not good for online gaming,wi fi has a really low drops, when i try to play (World of Tanks Blitz) sometimes the screen would jam and get stuck or glitch as if i was moving my finger on the screen back and forth really quickly, did anyone else experience it with their device/any other game/this specific game?

  • Look,I really don't know what folk expect from I wouldn't say entry level but it ain't mid range, and your all bar the gentleman who said nuff said to finish his post is the only audible review I've read so far.

  • May be I am not that good about testing my Zenpad. I have worked 25 years in IT . Installing and supporting a lot of applications on a lot of HW and OS. At home I did some analysis of the WiFi connection and compared it to 4 cell phones 3 other tablets and 2 laptops. I believe I could say that my Zenpad 10 is by far the worst. I just sent it back to ASUS for the second time. I am quite skeptical about the result but I would graciously amend my review if it happens to be satisfactory fixed.

  • I have one for a year now. WiFi is very slow or disconnects quite often. Sent it to ASUS to be fixed. No change, still the same even staying at 6 feet of my router. No other devices experience the same issue. Browsing very slow. Streaming stopping often: Not possible Conclusion: Bad WIFI connection and processing very slow. I am frustrated each time I use it. I do not recommend. R. C. B

  • Hi all I was wondering I purchased a Asus pad at Christmas It reset it's self for some reason so logged me out my google mail, I do not remember my details for this account and also have a different number now, I need to now how to factory reset it fully so I can start again , I'm so fed up been trying to get into it for weeks!!!

  • Yea agree This was a gift But if i chose i will take with SIM card

  • My husband and I both have this tablet. The WiFi often drops so much so that it is very frustrating. It is also very, very slow. Neither our phones or computers have this problem with our WiFi. I would not purchase this brand again.

  • It is really bad that it does not use a sim card that can be connected to network for internet usage. It is practically useless when I am not in an area with free WiFi connectivity. I did not realize that it doea not have a sim on purchase, it is not serving the purpose for which I bought it.

  • My Tablet: ASUS ZenPad™ Z10 32GB has been a pain in my rear twice...While at work, Working on This Tablet, the silly thing just turned off and said powering down and then rebooted, while erasing all my data and on the SD Card too. Today it happened again. I called Verizon and told them about this crappy tab, from they way they were talking to me is that I'm totally stuck with this model. They'll just give me another one. I have learned the hard way. Never again buy this crap from asus...The reason why I have bought it was because I needed a tablet fast due to my other one being used, I went to verizon and thought that Verizon would have the Samsung tabs in store, but they said that they will not carry the best tabs in the store they'll only carry the exceptional tabs amd and other devices in store. So This is the only best tablet Verizon had in their store and it's a shame that this was the only best one they had to show me to buy. I'm regretting this whole think right now. I hate to have to order it from verizon and have to wait for it. Why can't they have them in their stores. More often I see Verizon who now days have just junk in their stores now. They have a large line of Motorola Phones that do not sell, just sitting there, no one wants. Also Verizon said to me that they will not be getting the Gear S3 LTE Watches.

  • I received one as a gift and it works fine. I can play gta San Andreas without lag. And it's on high graphics. The only flaw with this tablet is that it's unrootable but if you want to use it for other stuff it's a great value for money

  • why i cant instal office?

  • Okay listen up. most of the reviewers on here that are Talking Smack should otta not be allowed to own any mobile device. The nonsense they are spouting is just that - PURE NONSENSE. I have several tabs the most recent of which is the Asus 10zentab. Admittandly it is not the most "robust" of Assus tabs, but here is my read: 1) The camera really "SUKS". I mean grabage, 2) Permarnce; I have not had any issues with any opf the performance related posts - at all, it's pretty snappy, starts up a little slower than my other Asus tab, but it's a Startup - who cares, 3) WiFi - no issues at all, 4) Video playback - no issues, 5) Speed - it's an entry level tab, with that in mind - no issues, 6) Doesn't run hot, even with a Bluetooth Keyboard and case attached, 7) Screen resolution is quiet acceptable for a 10" unit. Overall, I don't think I'd buy another one, but I use this for service related ittems at client sites. 2G and 5G WiFi works extremely well, and with a bluetooch Keyboard/Case, i would suggest taking a good look at this for the younsters and perhps "shutins" and those sorts of users. i can say that all of my remote apps (qfile, abfile, abdocs, Google Docs etc) work quite nicely and have had zero issues with them. So, for those of you that want your 5 minutes of Internet Fame and spout crap and nonsense - "Just Go Away".. I mean really, just go back to the Planet you came from and stay there... nuff said...

  • Purchased October 2016, experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Device reports connected but can not access internet. Rebooting re-establishes the connection but appears to be short-lived.

  • Absolutely rubbish. Had the mainboard replaced and battery after 2 months. Another 2 months later a new mainboard was needed now it's over in holland being tested because I could not get it to turn on. Been told no fault found. They doing tests again. Been told can't have the tablet replaced until fault found. The tablet was only brought in March this year. Been with out the tablet now for 4 weeks in total while repairs been done and testing. Still waiting for the problems to be sorted and issue sorted once and for all. It's only six months since I brought the bloody thing and wish I never brought it. Maybe it will get sorted by the time the warranty runs out, however I won't hold my breath. Don't buy one stay well clear unless u are the owner of Asus and u deserve all u get.

  • What i can say...go really slow. Web pages takes nearly 30 seconds to load sometimes...average games work slow, and the big ones don't work at all. Restart after 5 min using facebook...sometimes playing games or locking at movies. Restart for no reason camera is useless I expect much more from asus. sorry for my broken english

  • I bought one the day before yesterday and it will not play imported videos from another device! Tyr sound quality is superb but video quality is shite. It staggers, fragments, and goes in slow motion; several frames short of normal play. I am taking it back to Curry's-PC World after the Bank Holiday; for a refund.

  • I use an asus zenpad 10. I had a question that if I use my tablet, will it be damaged?

  • absolutely. I'm really, really disappointed. The tablet is pretty much crappy out the box, and does not get updates basically at all. Interface zenui is full of bugs, in addition of being slow and laggy. Even loading web pages takes forever, because of a tottaly underpowered cpu that renders the pages slower than my old htc froyo smartphone. But it's not over, the worst news are about the wifi connectivity. Connection falls basically everytime the screen is turned off. If the battery saver is forced not to turn off the wifi, it stills falls after browsing 3 or 4 pages. And again, ASUS released this device promising updates, the last one of which is several months old and did not repair half of the bugs. Hope to get 5.1 is rapidly fading away, along with any will to buy ASUS devices anymore - very likely, unknown chinese vendors sell better devices in EU these days.

  • Are you an ASUS employee? Just face it like everyone else, it's a crap! Since the Transformer Infinity TF700T, all Asus tablets are some trash, laggy and hard responsive, unable to get prepare for an update after one year later since launched!

  • I got this at a heavily discounted price. Its a little heavy but I'd say it feels more solid than most other tablets too. It has a quality ferl about it. Its fine for everyday use and most gaming, but lets face it, any serious gamer wouldn't be using an Android tablet anyway. It streams and plays movies smoothly, the audio is nice, clear, sharp and crisp, with good levels of bass. I've not experienced any of the other problems mentioned in these reviews, so I presume either they are tlking rubbish, possibly reviewing a product they dont actually own or they cant perform effective routine maintenance & clean ups in their tablets. Its not lagging or slow to boot up. The screen resolution is pretty decent, good enough to edit NEF RAW files anyway. The battery life is pretty decent too & doesn't take forever to recharge. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE... is that the optional DA01 audio dock/keyboard is completely unavailable anywhere on the internet at this time. Its even unavailable from ASUS, at this time. Hopefully its just a manufacturing issues, and we'll see them soon. You could hust buy a generic Bluetooth keyboard from eBay, but the matching ASUS one would be nice. CONCLUSION... if you can buy one at a discount price, they are well worth the money.

  • This tablet is way to laggy in everything even right now when I am writing this

  • Really low performance comparing previous generation MemoPad I own. Even with 2GB memory and better processor. Laggy, problems starting up, weights more. You can find better options for sure. Might be the intel processor is not optimized yet for android.

  • Massive let down my Hudl was quicker but too slow so I bought this crap instead, 4 mins to start up then video crashes games too slow just rubbish.

  • I´m sad with this tablet. Wifi signal is lost all the time and ASUS does not respond about upgrading to marshmallow.

  • what is the battery power

  • the real speed is max 900 MHZ, not 1.2 as you find on all websites.

  • is asus zenpad 10 z300 supported OTG (USB host)?

  • This is my 2nd ASUS z300c. The 1st one had issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. No troubles with number 2. Very good with games and video. Good solid design with high end specks at a budget price. Highly recommended.

  • What cpu speed do you see when running cpuz?

  • My ZenPad 10 has had a few problems. Keeps going into standby for no reason, on test at moment after a factory reset. Font colour and bold changed somehow but could not change it back another factory reset. The tech support is not very good factory reset is their solution. I have had this 2 months and I am on my third factory reset, when I had an Amazon kindle probs it was replaced without question, as you can guess I won't be buying an ASUS product ever again.

  • It's best tablet, screen and audio. Truly satified with this. But... Cpu is underclocked. I have major speed issues. Everything is going slow, like a computer from 2000 Actually they were fast compared to this tablet. I honestly say, if this zenshut tablet gets broken, or shattered i will not feel bad. Im really pissed with the speed, and can't root also!!!

  • I had tried Z300CL which is basicaly the same tablet but with beefed up CPU and different video chip. All the rest applies. Screen resolution is way too little (so as the DPI) for this size of tablet - small and even medium sized fonts gets blured out causing eye tension. Front camera is pretty good for 2M shooter, but the rear 5M is a complete disapointment and is not practicaly usable. I also found the screen rotate sometimes does not doing its job very well. A few times it had to be rebooted just to make the screen rotate work again. Other than that its pretty snapy device to use and nice feel to hold. Considering that this was one of the better tablets I had tried in that price range, I'd save +25% and go with either one of the hi-resolution Samsung Galaxies for Android or older iPad Air for the best screen readability.

  • Has anyone gone through some majour issues? How smooth is it?

  • It would seem to meet all my needs and looks great but can anyone please tell me if it has an activated ethernet driver which my company insists I must have for security reasons

  • Atleast they didn't use mali-400, like lenovo did for LENOVO Tab 2 A10-70.

  • This is why Chinese SoC makers growing extreme fast. Why? Thing about it, its Intel... Giant cpu manifacturer, giant chip maker... Chooses Mali 450 as gpu for its SoC... That GPU supports only, only OpenGL 2.0 And another Tech giant uses that useless crap for its tablet and prices it about 400 euro. On the other side... You have Allwinner A80, RK3288, Helio X10... With high level of GPU... There is no difference, Asus, Samsung and all of other big companies have one policy... Produce and forget. So why choose expensive, choose chinese, choose economy!

  • c'mon now asus. really??? :-( i would have thought you'd make this tablet as the bigger version of the zenpad s 8.0 z580ca. the zenpad s 8.0 z580ca has all the right specs (processor, internal storage etc.). albeit in an 8.0" screen. can you imagine how awesome it would have been in a 9.7"-10.5" device? please don't give me a 10 incher with these watered-down specs. give me a powerhouse 10 incher like the zenpad s 8.0 internals and make it affordable. :-)

  • The tabs front speakers and solid build is it's biggest advantages. The Z300C is not that fast, so playing games like Hearthstone will be a laggy experience. Works fine for normal surfing and video watching. Tab is also heavy and screen resolution is not great. But taking the low price in consideration, it will be a good investment. One might consider the Galaxy Tab A if sound is not that important and you want a slightly more powerful, lighter and bigger screen.

  • Dearest friends.Unfortunately nothing to say about it!!!Except must be affordable and just good for children only!!Not in adults range!!!
