BLU Life One X3 - User Reviews

  • Hi Johannes. Connecting Android phone to a computer can often be a hassle! Try this! You must be a Developer...that's easy to do...just go to Settings-About Phone...and tap on section "Build number" 7 times...Voila!... you've just become a Developer! Now, in the Settings menu you'll see a new category called Developer Options...Click on that...and in the upper right corner turn it on...now scroll down to USB Debugging...and turn it on...this will allow computer and phone to "talk" to each other...and allow you to transfer files, photos, etc., Just follow the prompts as to what you want to do....you are in essence turning your phone into a mass storage device...sort of like an external drive...with the ability to transfer files between computer and phone. Good Luck! Andy

  • This is my third blu phone. The reason for getting this model was the increased battery size. It seems like the phone should work better than the previous ones ... but it doesn't and it cost us money. First: on vacation we usually return to our hotel or ship and upload the day's pictures and videos. surprise ... the files are impossible to find for uploading. The only way we could upload our images was to synch the phone with our onedrive account. Little did I know that it would link immediately after taking a shot using the closest wifi. This ended up costing us over $200 in data charges. Second: Other than commercial phone calls in Italy (and the US I found out) would not connect giving us an "out of service" response. None of our family could call us either. The only communication was by gmail text ... what a pain ... I am not a thumb typer. Any help out there? I've been looking for updated drivers. I have tried windows 10, windows 7, and Linux ... no luck, the files are invisible.

  • Do you recommend to update the phone via OTA?

  • I cant access documents, pics and videos from phone to my laptop. When I connect to laptop and open it reads folder empty. What's should I do. Help please!

  • i just got 1 today. first time charging and i hope its not going to take this long every other charge.

  • Used it for maybe 3 months by now. So far have had non of the issues past Blu phones have given me but knock on wood. The battery is killer I use my phone very heavily and it will last the entire day no problem. Charging feels a bit slow in comparison. Videos run smooth at full resolution 60 fps. Perfect phone for a video junkie.

  • The battery is massive, that's alone worth buying it. Processor is a bit slow but will get you through all your normal content usage and social media. Maybe not for gaming but I don't know many how concentrate on high end mobile game. This is probably the best $150 range phone you can buy for the specs and things like a fingerprint scanner. Only a half a year old and won't break the bank, no contract, unlocked.... it's a buy for me. If you want a bit more power get the Vivo 8 or Honor 7/8.

  • This is an edit to my review, you can set the camera size fro 9MP to 13MP by changing the preview size from full screen to 4:3. Also I'm not sure about fast charge..

  • I thought it had quick charge, nope!

  • Nice device, so far so good. It has an FM radio after the update and fast charging. Pros: Battery life is good Supports OTG. Split screen apps. Cons: Camera Flash is a bit weak. The rear camera is 9MP and not 13MP like it's advertised. Screen isn't Gorilla glass and the protection with it isn't glass.

  • It should have fast charging, but it does not work. O bought two. And in both it does not work.

  • yeah, it is!!!!!

  • 3g/4g not working. Issues in proximity sensor and auto brigthness issues. Price should be 50 dollars

  • it actually has fast charging the last time i checked

  • it actually has fast charging the last time i checked

  • Lol you right men ... This one lacks a lot when you watching videos in YouTube in 1080p 60 😣

  • Great android just need better camera with ois back & front and super amoled screen same 1080p please please x5 please.

  • For the price, is a very good phone, but due is new at the market, have a lot of little details to be fixed, like camera, OS improvements. Nevertheless, like i said, it's very good. For sure i recommen this one. Great Storage. Pro: Great build. Great Screen. Great Battery. Very good Fingerprint Sensor. Cons: At night, the flash can barely iluminate what you wants to take. Sometime some apps does not run with fluency. Needs some Android Nougat updates, cause it runs the 7.0 version.

  • No, it does not.

  • Yes, it does. However, it is not that quick because of the battery size.

  • can anyone tell me if this phone have quick charger?

  • bought this phone because of a battery as a back up phone for Europe travel. The frequencies/bands seem to be ok (will test it in 10 days) Need a cheap phone with a big battery to travel and not be afraid to break, while skiing, biking, etc. So far it has performed fine.

  • This phone is a big improvement from blu. Normally they make phones with a compromise. Like a huge battery but only 8 gigs of storage. But with this there's no compromises I can see! Pretty good storage. A good amount of ram. A huge battery. An alright camera. A good screen. And it's all for 150 bucks!

  • I just don't like the procesors, but the battery of this phone is eternal. Awsome!!

  • Mediatek MT6753??? Mali-T720??? Really? The same chipset and GPU from the original Life one of the 2016
