BLU Life X8 - User Reviews

  • Hey, I was able to root it with Kingroot (not Kingo)

  • Phone works good for me. Just can't root it.

  • UPDATE: Okay so after depleting and fully charging the device, I realized that the battery is actually REALLY GOOD: getting around 6-7 hours of juice. So the phone is a good buy after all. Just know that it's not by any means a "snappy" fast phone.

  • The phone otherwise is pretty good. I love the HD screen even though it's not the best panel. The hick ups and bugs are forgivable... But the battery life... Omg. How can a phone have a 2 hour battery life??? Whoever you are, unless you're planning to buy a powerbank, I would not recommend this phone. There are plenty other good phones within this price range and I would say go for the Blu R1 HD. Don't get this phone.

  • Yeah... I just bought this phone only yesterday and of all the minor bugs and flaws this phone has, the battery is absolutely horrific. I'm only getting 2 hours of battery life with this 2500mah battery... I had an S4 mini with a 1800mah battery that lasted me for most of the day! No phone should have such poor battery life so I'm getting mines replaced or getting another phone.

  • My sim from boost wont work

  • Download a different camera app off the app store, or you can try going into your settings and then go into app manager. From there find the camera app, stop the app and clear the cache. hope this helps.

  • MyPhone worked good forma a while but then all of a sudden when I use my camera and try to switch to selfie mode my phone freezes.....and when I reenter the camera app it says camera does not work.... Help please

  • I have the same problem

  • Worst customer service ever Intermitent WiFi connection Drop calls Pros: The price.. (regretting I get rid of my mini S3 at this point)

  • the only way to get into the phone to go to the home screen is to touch the button on the side is any way you can touch the screen without having to touch this button.? thanks.

  • selfie camera on mine doesnt work or even show up.

  • i have the same problem with my blu life one x purchased dec 2015. Can't send or receive mms messages on Cricket. Transferred cricket sim card to my old att phone and send /receive mms messages worked fine. I have not been able to find solution. anyone ?

  • For cricket SIM you cannot receive or send mms picture messages Fota and hipri are not added to customise the apn settings. I can't understand how to fix this issue. Very frustrating . otherwise phone is great. If anyone has an update on how to correct this issue please let me know.

  • Obviously there is something wrong with your phone.... nothing is wrong with mine mine is running smooth and nicely! So don't say negative stuff about BLU

  • So far I'm not too happy with it. The battery dies faster than any phone I've ever had (and I go through about 3 phones per year). I have to hit the spacebar twice every time I use it when I'm typing. Its FULL of bloatware. And to top it off, I can't use the internet or receive MMS messages on crickets network! The reason for this is because with cricket (as with most other carriers, I believe) you have to edit the APN when you add an unlocked phone to your plan. Normally, you would add "hipri" and "fota" to the list under "APN type" in order to connect to your mobile data. You have to type it by hand, but this phone gives you a list with boxes to check instead, and neither of them is an option on the list! You would think that a company making a *carrier unlocked* phone would make it at least POSSIBLE to put on any network. But no, not this company. I'll never buy another BLU phone again, I guarantee it.

  • Picture quality is good on regular view, the selfie side is not so much.

  • Yes, mine too. Love the phone otherwise.

  • My battery drains too fast. I want to know, is anybody experiencing the same issue? I don't know whether the problem is with the software or the device itself

  • How is camera? Picture quality?

  • Gooooood phone love the features especially video quality ..... Good going blu a plus up

  • Awesome sauce
