BLU Vivo XL2 - User Reviews

  • I bought mine from Amazon UK. I've had exactly the same problem from a 4mth old phone. Rang Amazon and they replaced it immediately.

  • The Blu vivo xl original.

  • Its like wearing an ankle bracelet mfkers

  • has its disadvantages, after owning the phone for about 6 months it seems like the battery is failing, and that would be fine if the battery was removable which its not. it also doesn't support most VR apps even though it has a speaker setup made for VR headsets. it also has a 20 min boot up time running stock OS with the message "Android is Starting" so if you are in a phone call and your phone goes dead don't expect to be calling them back any time soon. other than that it's a decent phone.

  • it just go back to home screen with now reason after a few days

  • Upgraded as well and I love his functionalities

  • Worst phone in my life.its automatically vibrated and go to home screen.

  • upgrade is via ota??

  • I was having problems with my XL2 going to home screen and was about to trash the thing but I upgraded to Android 7.0 from 6.0 and no problems since. I hope this works for you.

  • I have the same problem and I live in Asia. Do you know what should we do?

  • It is happening the same to mine. I have followed all instructions for Hard Reset already and nothing changed. Blu is asking me to send it to Miami for repair at my own cost (even though it is under warranty, I just bought it 8 months ago) and they are not responsible for any possible customs fee between Canada and US. Have anyone found a solution other than sending it to Miami?

  • I've had it for a year with zero problems. The best dollar for dollar phone you can get.

  • don't buy it, the first couple of months it works fine, after 4/5 months starts to logg out of apps without touching the screen.

  • This phone is strong and stable

  • Ive had the Blu Vivo Xl2 for 7 months now and I just started getting screen problems like the phantom touch where it returns to the home screen as if I was tapping the screen and it freezes then I have to turn off screen and start over.So I tried changing the touch and hold delay from short to long and it does help my phone a little bit. Then i noticed a hair line crack in the top corner of screen and it migrated to the display area probably because I had in back pocket and sat on it. Check for hair line cracks on screen there hard to see and probably is the cause of screen malfunctions. Never did like the side buttons going back to Samsung

  • Same as the others. Phone keeps freezing, glitching closing windows, have to keep pressing the power button to get it to respond. Was a great phone until about June I think. Now I want to throw it out. Hopefully there is a new firmware or fix out soon. Only bought it in February. Worked excellent until about June. There was a new firmware that came out in May 2017... Perhaps that is where the problems started.

  • Every time something happens or 1 tiny setting is changed it seems I have to reboot the phone, its something in the battery optimization. I've turned off all optimizations, and still it gets hung up. And if you don't have the battery optimized, the charge only lasts a couple of hours. Good thing its got quad core that I am not getting the benefit of. Cannot for the life of me figure it out. Not getting proper notifications and reminders, then one day I'll get them, then it will stop and I have to reboot, so forth and so on.....

  • No connection to PC through USB

  • Same issue exactly for me and my friend who I convinced to buy the phone cause it was so great. Now I am really regretting that decision....

  • The same problem is happening to my BLU Vivo XL2, purchased in June, now ending August started freezing the touch screen, going back or to the home screen, with activation of the haptic feedback like if something was touching the screen.

  • I've been experienced the exact same issue. Bought my phone around the same time, somewhere in March. The phone was working great, but then around the month of June started to have those issues. The screen started being crazy sensitive, phone was touching things on its own. It was backing out of apps and closing them while phone vibrates, like I was touching the home or back button, but I wasn't touching anything. Not a finger on the screen. Even would do when I didn't have my phone in my hand, was just sitting on the table. And when I tried to touch the screen myself or passive buttons wouldn't respond to my touch. You could see it selecting what you touch, or vibrate when touching passive buttons, but did nothing. Tried resetting phone and it seemed to work well for few weeks with screen issue only happening a few times, but became worse again. I can't even uses it without getting frustrated from screen screwing up most of the time now. Only way to use it is by tapping power/lock button on side to turn screen off, then tapping it again to turn screen back on and unlocking the phone to stop the screen glitching, but only temporary until glitches start up again minutes later. Haven't tried contacting blu or sending it to get fixed, but seems like they didn't help anyways.

  • I noticed while trying to insert two sims with a memory card, that was not possible because the second sim slot shares the shame space with the memory card. Is there away to allow all sim cards and memory card fit into the phone? Which other model offers such features?

  • Not a bad phone at all, great storage, works well, I did buy this phone back in March and had problems with it in June, had to send it in to get it fixed, the phone was just exiting out of when i didn't click anything at all, kept freezing when i didn't go anywhere or anything, think the phone had some bug or something, not sure, but they did a hard reset sen it back to me ( the same phone i had a problem with) and it started freezing again, a week later. It hasn't froze again or ex out of stuff by itself in a week this time, but whatever it is, needs to be fixed, because this is great phone. Great little short cuts, the speaker could be louder...just sayin' all in all i would give the phone a 6 out of 10

  • Love the phone, works well, only problem I have is, using Whatsapp, all the contact names disappear and leave only cellphone numberes, I am told to switch off Screen overlap, but cannot find it to switch it off. Help!!!

  • I got the device i like the look but the back button keeps activating when i am not touching it why and what can i do to stop it and make it work properly

  • I bought BLU Vivo XL2 last month, I did not really have the opportunity to use it because I broke the screen by falling. I would like to know if there are spare parts for this phone please . Thanks

  • excellent phone --- great value for money

  • Thank you for that info . I need to get a ATT COMPATIBLE CARD for my phone to run it on straight talk

  • Very nice phone for the $, BUT SIM card #1 is a nano SIM & SIM card #2 is a micro SIM. If you are going to run this off of ATT, you must use SIM tray #1 (nano) & cannot use SIM tray #2. It doesn't have the ATT bands for SIM #2. As a result, you cannot expand the memory because SIM tray #1 is also the micro SD tray.

  • Nice phone is love it but the only i have a problem with is that it can't use two sim card with the memory card same time that's d only i have but nice phone i love it thou

  • try getting into these brands as reference: (Gionee P7 Max) (Allview V2 Viper Xe) they are both the same device, and the brands has better presence over online stores.

  • The cases are limited currently. This is relatively a new phone but i expected a variety of options to be readily available on Amazon - not quite. Luckily gsmArena came to my rescue - i searched for phones of the same size and will use the Vibe3 protector case till i get the ideal one.

  • there is a bunch of cases for this model over Amazon.com, best regards.

  • I purchased this phone. It is amazing. The specs are on point per this website. I love the camera, etc. My only issue is that there are no phone cases and the case and screen protector it came with was flimsy. Of course, I dropped my phone today and it cracked. This invalidates the warranty from the company (BLU) who are lousy about helping people FYI. Love the product though.

  • Maybe this phone will be mine after My actual phone (Microsoft Lumia 640).

  • This phone has infrared, update the information. I bought it and it is excellent for what it costs

  • Looks like they made the fake version of Zenfone 3.

  • Nice phone but it comes loaded with 'junk' software. Almost half of the memory is used up before you get the phone. It's processor is slow, probably due to all of the junk software. Had to change launcher as had problems with slow startup and apps not working. Uses outdated Android software . Need to be upgrade to 7.0. I'm not sure I would recommend phone until improvements have been made and excess software removed....

  • nice #Phone #Bindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas

  • as the 1sth Vivo XL still being a nice decent device, I can be sure this will be great too.
