Casio G'zOne Commando - User Reviews

  • Still have mine and it still works. Had to replace the battery once after a few years.

  • this phone is actually garbage. I had to buy 2 of them and neither one of them lasted me a month let a lone 2 weeks maximum. If you are considering buying this phone I strongly urge you to not, this is just a cash grab and should be ceased to be made.

  • I love it ... but its not great: just very strong. What surprises me is the price still this days... honestly ther are better options way more cheaper. I have an AGM right now and so happy :) i ll always remember Casio fondly , tho.

  • A great phone that is a little slow but you can't hardly break it - while other phones are faster they "BREAK VERY EASILY" and therefore they SUCK~! When you have to buy hard cases and other items to protect a fragile phone that renders them USELESS to me~! Casio C-771 is you Basic Phone without all the bells and whistles but IT WORKS and will not break on you like so many Galaxies ( I have had 3 of them and you fart on em and they BREAK) - I will stick with my COMMANDO until they startmaking phones more STURDY ~!

  • Complete JUNK I had 3 different ones of these none lasted a mounth before they screwed up . My Carrier gave me a droid ultra and still works after 3 years

  • Absolutely the very worst phone I've ever owned. I got one and had multiple problems with it. Thinking I had just had gotten an isolated dud, I returned it after putting up with the problems for a few months. My carrier honored their contract and gave me another Casio G'z0ne. It turned out to be as bad, if not worse than the first. Dropped messages while texting, screen freezing up for extended amounts of time, called phone numbers randomly while sitting by itself, exxttreeeemely slow with everything it did. Did not send or receive many texts and calls when in excellent reception areas. The only thing it did well was, it was tough and rugged. I didn't get the satisfaction of watching it smash into hundreds of pieces when thrown against a brick wall. Not a scratch or cracked glass. Dang it!!!

  • go to cellphonebeast.org you can get it for 74

  • Google is your friend, use it...

  • where I can buy this phone (Casio G'zOne Commando)...?? what the price of this phone? Please reply my question..

  • Best phone ever washed it in washing machine twice and even went through the dryer once.Dropped it kicked it you name it(not on purpose)it still works great. How do I transfer apps etc.to sd card?Always get cannot download updates insufficient memory.HELP

  • The antenna on this phone is poor. I have an old Motorola phone and when both are fully charged the GZ1 shows 1 bar signal strength and the Motorola phone shows 4 bars. If this phone is made to military specs to be used by same they better not go out of a city with lots of cell towers. Yes, it is a rough tuff phone and takes lots of crap. a truckdriver

  • My phone keeps on saying invalid card. What do I need to do?

  • If you can't use the Casio G'zOne Commando where you are but you want a schockproof and waterproof smartphone, try MTT smart fun (but no the smart multimedia this one sucks) or the Utano T180. Both of the two brands make "normal" phones too.

  • Bought mine used off Ebay. Overall it's the best smart phone I've ever had. Rugged, water proof, GPS is reliable and accurate. I've dropped it out of the semi a time or two when climbing in or out. Not a scratch. Had some trouble with slow processor speed and blue tooth dropping a word or two until I rooted it and killed all the background processes Verizon added in that I'll never use. The stock key board is horrible, so I installed one from Play Store that fixed that issue. Antenna setup is outstanding - can talk extensively when driving and never drop the call. Same with data - can listen to Sirius XM radio for hours without losing the connection. Audio is loud due to the larger front facing speakers. This is the first phone I've had that I could hear ring when driving my rig down the road. I highly recommend it.

  • I've seen the concept one from casio in 2012, that was pretty impressive and rugged... i think before focusing on specification, better think why casio G is best... well, in my opinion, it's ruggedness... but still, i'd grab one if it had no limitation on h/w and other specs... ultimately it's a phone...

  • all questions without answer

  • Design flaw from Casio no patch but not bad. Like photo lighting less red eye effect.

  • Europe,USA have patents which registered to companies. in Japan these patents are different and such companies as Casio can make phone but to export them.

  • I live in Japan and i cannot understand why Japanese phone makers make such good phone but never export them. I love my casio GZ flip phone and i showed it to friends back home in England 8 years ago and they thought it was great and wanted one but for some reason they never made them GSM compatable. And Japan wonder why Korea is doing so well
