It's good but worthless smart phone.. it'd powered with 650 MHz outdated ARMv6 processor. sooo you cannot access major applications from play store like temple run, subway surf, asphalt and much more.. go for mmx or karbonn or any device with armv7.. I suggest karbonn A5+

i've rooted my a88. the procedure's as follows. 1) download unlock root on ur pc. 2)enable usb debugging & connect ur mobile to pc using data cable. 3) download drivers for lenovo a60 mobile bcoz it got maximum similarities for our a88. 4)now open unlock root n click on the root option. now wait for less than one minute. if super user is installed ;ur phone's rooted n if not means rooting failed n ur phone's still safe. before all this backup ur custom rom incase if any. if u have any doubts regarding this contact me @ [email protected]

this is the worst phone ever. most of the process in android suddenly stops and internal memory suddenly and automatically decreases. we cannot install more apps in it. if we do so it crashes. the gyro sensor is the worst of every model of android. my opinion is dont buy it unless u want to giv it to ur kid as a play toy.

haiii every one i brought it 3 months before i think its a nice mobile with low cost than samsung and nokia android phons.it was not any more less than in futures with samsung Ace duos but cost was less but some defects are there like incoming call sound was less and it has no flash.and i finally telling u celkon was not a china mobial it was pure indian phone.so u dont hurry up to buy this phone before buying it plz compair celkon a95,a88,a19 ALL THE BEST

u have to download. android apps in market for most of them for free. apps such as mxplayer ;ucbrowser; nqsecurity; opera; freesmsindia; and games like bmxboy; chess; etc etc. but u should save in microsd for free space in phone. games such as mario; contract; jackak; bomberman will also install in this phone by www.happy.mobi.com enjoy atlast for incoming sound u should keep in outdoor mode and adjust for good incoming sound and for more battery life decrease your brightness . any doughts !!!!!

hi i purchased this phone for Rs6100. this phone is very good but it has only 200Mb RAM.. that is the only drawback in celkon A88.. except that all apps are working good... when ever phone memory gets low, the phone fixes that problem itself and gives lot more free memory... finally i recommend to buy this phone... hey for net connection,,, u have to do it manually...ie manual setting u have to update for eg: if u are using tatadocoma go to the internet setting & update it manually to tata docomo internet, option ll appear in the setting itself.... rather use vodafone for Celkon mobiles its very fast n it take setting by default...

It seems to be a damn worst piece as i found. many simple apps dont get installed. though i have 8GB memory card it says not enough memory. More over everytime I switch off the phone I have restore my settings again. The message box of the phone is worst with only chat mode. no drafts and no outbox or sentbox and no templates.

A88 is gud in the mid range price....... main CONS I found 're 1)camera is below average and settings has to be adjusted every time u switch on it 2)output sound is awesome but while getting incoming call sound is worst.....I tried a lot settings....but no use.....output sound is worse other dan dese evrything is gud.....touch screen response is gud...processing speed is gud But not recommended to buy...!!
