  • yes you can maken a call with apps LINE or WATHSAPP OR viber.instal and config with you mobilephone

  • I got a new piece delivery today, Please tell me how to make calls from Dell Streak 7 as there is no call log or calling option in it, i hear the ringtone when i dial from other cell, but no incoming or outgoing calls option, even there is network in the sim. I have another dell streak 5 with me which i am using since last 1 year without any issues & can make calls but this one is ridiculous.

  • Price does reflect on quality. However this one is an exception. Love the camera, internet speed is top notch!

  • I have got a Dell Streak 7 too and sometimes doesnt charge, this may sound funny but try it in a different plug and if that doesnt work buy another usb extention that goes in to it to charge and mine works great now! I hope you are lucky.

  • this tablet are using snails technology..bought it last few months..lag..slow...lag..when i repeat lag for many times it means super lag... when u try to start any apps, blank screen will occur...so it need to be reset by using hard reset.

  • its a horrible device. laggy,battery hog for no reason,, hangs for no reason. had factory reset the device alot lot lot times.. still hangs.no support. Died today out of the blue. charger seems to work fine but the tablet itself committed suicide without any warning.i was like uh?? what happened..i am thinking of burying it somewhere.   • Sorry, this model is not capable for making calls. Just mms, sms, and data.

  • There are actually two vesrions, one is wifi only, and one is wifi+3G. The 3G version you can slide the sim in opening the right hand door port. There are 2 slot, first (up) sim and second (down) SD.

  • there are two types of streak 7, 1. Wi-fi and 2. wi-fi + calling. If u have purchased the 1st one than u cannot make call or send sms, but in 2nd u can make calls, send sms and surf internet

  • I got this in Decemeber 2011 and LOVE IT! it is so easy to navagate through and it has it so you can reverse the camera around so you can use it a a skype devise. I can use either wifi or 4G on mine and that makes it nice and convenient. I was looking for somehting a bit larger then my phone but smaller then the desk top computer so I can lounge around with it an play games, or surf the net I love it and have had nothing but great experience with it.

  • No you can't use it as a phone. No voice support. The SIM in it is just to that you can access the internet from everywhere. Perhaps you can Skype or something if you want to use it as a phone...

  • dont take dell streak bought one 3 months back..microphone got damaged.dell dont have the infrastructure so they will replace the phone,as stock not available will have to wait for 15-20 days..this kind of problem not expected from a company from dell.so do think before taking.phone is good but the size is a big problem.so do think before u take

  • at one hand they are giving tegra 2 gpu for better grafix performance and at other hand just 256k display for this gpu.. what a stupid crap.

  • Good hardware, very, very (very) bad display. I dont understand how can they use such low quality display in a product that somehow represents a flagship for them. Pixel density is awfull, and viewing angles are incredibly low, especially from bellow. Also, it's pretty hard to use it without accidentally touching the sensitive controls on the right, making it hard to hold in hand.

  • For me Deal Streak 7 is good, but if we compare it to Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 it is too far...Because This gadget is not really high end than Samsung galaxy tab 10.1....... But it is good..
